Jennifer Lopez may be a rom-com queen with a new one called Office Romance among 2026's movie releases, but in her personal life she’s putting the brakes on relationships. These days, the actress and singer is happily single post her divorce from Ben Affleck, but allegedly one of her famous exes is checking in.

JLo Is Happy To Be Single

Lopez has been turning the page on her life as of late, as she recently moved out of the home she and Affleck shared and is living in her “very own Barbie dreamhouse.” When she was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week, she said this about her single era:

Lopez hasn’t gone too long without being in a relationship for much of her life, but these days she’s not seeking out a partnership. Kimmel suggested she be the next The Bachelorette, but she scoffed at the idea, saying this about finding love again:

It sounds like JLo has a good mindset about dating going forward. She’s not rushing into anything, or feeling like she needs a relationship but is open to finding love again if the other person is “good enough” for her. You go girl!

The Ex That's Allegedly Reaching Out

Amidst Jennifer Lopez’s comments about being single, scooper Rob Shuter also reported this week that one of the 56-year-old’s exes, retired baseball player Alex Rodriguez, has tried to get back into contact with her after his own recent breakup. Rodriguez was dating internet personality Jaclyn Cordeiro for more than three years, but they recently split up. According to one “insider”:

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez dated from 2017 to 2021. The couple was engaged back in 2019 and ended up postponing their planned destination wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic before ultimately splitting up. Apparently, Rodriguez tried to reconnect with JLo in order to “rebuild at least some form of connection.” Per one source:

It wasn’t long after JLo and Rodriguez’s split that she reconnected with Ben Affleck, perhaps completely severing any contact she and Alex Rodriguez might have had post-breakup. But now that they both find themselves single, it certainly sounds like a more convenient time for both of the celebrities to talk again, should these reports be true. But if the baseball player is hoping for another shot with Lopez, it doesn’t sound like the kind of thing she’s entertaining right now.

While JLo might be anti-romance right now, she certainly isn’t in her new movie. She stars in Office Romance with Brett Goldstein, which will be available to stream with a Netflix subscription on June 5.

It feels like Jennifer Lopez’s personal life has made nearly as many headlines as her professional career as an actress and singer. Her various relationships and marriages have become one of the most talked-about things about her. Many have certainly made their share of jokes about Lopez, as well, but the good news is that she can make the jokes, too.

Jennifer Lopez has been married four times in her life, but only one of those has been in the last 10 years. She and Ben Affleck finalized their divorce at the beginning of 2025. Before that, Lopez was in a relationship with baseball star Alex Rodriguez. The two were together for four years and were actually engaged at one point, but they split up before they could get married. It's perhaps not that much of a stretch to say she felt like she married twice, as the relationship was certainly just as serious.

When JLo reunited with Ben Affleck, it seemed like a fairytale romance at first. As with A-Rod, the pair had been engaged when they dated in the early 2000s, but they called it quits before actually tying the knot. The pair found each other again decades later and ended up running off to the same city Lopez is now performing in, Las Vegas, to get married. Unfortunately, the fairytale did not last, and the pair ended up splitting up, though only after going in on a multimillion-dollar house together.

There have certainly been some awkward moments for Jennifer Lopez recently when she’s been asked about her marriage and divorce. If she’s willing and able to joke about it now, that’s at least an indication that she’s made some peace with the situation. That certainly is what she said, as she’s referring to the period of her life she’s now in as her “happy era.” Lopez continued…

It’s good to hear that Jennifer Lopez is feeling happy now. Meanwhile, the new rumors about her love life have already started. It will be interesting to see if she has anything to say about all that during her future Vegas performances.

While many of us dream about being celebrities, the reality of fame can be a double-edged sword. Namely because it makes one's personal life into a public matter that can be judged in the court of public opinion. While we saw this with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's reunion, this has been the case for all of the pop star's relationships. That includes her previous engagement to Alex Rodriguez, who is the subject of a new documentary Alex vs ARod (which is streaming with a HBO Max subscription). JLo is noticeably missing from the doc, and the director explained why this happened.

Rodriguez is the latest athlete to get a documentary series, Alex vs ARod, which recently premiered on HBO. While his relationship and breakup with JLo made plenty of headlines (especially thanks to those Southern Charm cheating rumors) it was noticeably missing from the doc. In an interview with THR, director Gotham Chopra addressed the "Lets Get Loud" singer's absence, saying:

That does clear things up. Some folks online thought that perhaps Rodriguez specifically asked Jennifer Lopez to not be the focus of his new documentary series. But it sounds like no subject was off limits for Alex vs ARod, including his time with the global pop star/actress. But that simply wasn't the story that the documentary was trying to tell.

Later in the same interview, Chopra further explained why Rodriguez's new documentary doesn't put much focus on his former relationship with Jennifer Lopez. In the director's words;

It sounds like Alex vs ARod is focusing on a very specific time in Rodriguez's life, resulting in a number of other juicy storylines being left on the cutting room floor. And that means we might need another season is he's going to break down his famous relationship with JLo.

In a way I have to tip my hat to Gotham Chopra for not bringing Jennifer Lopez into the narrative of thi doc. It presumably would have made a ton of headlines if it did, but that wasn't what the story was about. Talk about integrity.

Alex vs ARod is streaming on HBO Max as part of the 2025 TV schedule. We'll just have to wait and see how successful the documentary is, and if a sequel is eventually ordered.

Charlotte Flair recently enjoyed some time as a sports spectator, as opposed to leading any WWE action herself, following an underwhelming WrestleMania program with Tiffany Stratton. The queen of pro wrestling decided to catch some NBA playoff action by attending the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It's who she was with that has people talking, however, as former MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez was seen at her side, which fans couldn't help but react to.

The former Yankees mainstay attended the Lakers game with the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble champion, and a brief video of the. pair together outside the event started making waves on the internet. Check out that video below from @ArashMarkazi, with a quick cameo from Shane McMahon:

It's a pairing that has sparked a lot of interest, given it's not every day you see a professional wrestler and hall-of-fame caliber baseball player attend a sporting event together. It's also coming on the heels of Charlotte Flair's divorce from fellow superstar Andrade El Idolo, which many fans have been pretty outspoken about, so they're aware that she's single again after three previous marriages.

All this resulted in a lot of seemingly optimistic speculation about what she's doing with A-Rod, and whether there's love in the air or not. Here are a few such comments:

The last one is a good point, and wrestling fans may be too invested in what's happening in Charlotte Flair's personal life. Would anybody be THIS invested if it was known they were just good friends who were in a book club together?

At the same time, both celebrities had to have known that attending a playoff game of one of the NBA's largest teams would not go unnoticed, especially with all the ongoing drama surrounding Luka Dončić's trade to the team. Maybe seats a little further away from courtside would have helped that.

The story only gets more interesting when looking at Charlotte Flair's Instagram Stories, which showed her planted squarely behind the bench of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Alex Rodriguez is one of the owners of the basketball team, so it's possible he was the one who secured tickets for her to the event.

While there are videos and photos of the two athletes side-by-side, neither one mentioned of the other when posting on social media about the game. It should also be noted that Rodriguez made news on April 20th for attending another NBA game with his girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, whom he'd met after his highly publicized split from Jennifer Lopez.

While it's true that Alex Rodriguez and Charlotte Flair do follow each other on Instagram, it's a possibility that they are just good friends. We don't have any additional information to suggest otherwise, so unless we see concrete evidence of a relationship between the two, it's best not to speculate too much for now.

Last year Taylor Swift had celebrities calling in all of their favors in order to snag tickets to the Eras Tour, many of whom were seen accompanying their children to the show as Swift made her way across the United States. However, the “Cruel Summer” singer isn’t the only artist who the younger crowd is clamoring to see belt their hits live, and A-Rod recently got to take in an Olivia Rodrigo concert with his 15-year-old daughter Ella. The athlete shared his experience at the Guts World Tour show, and I love this father-daughter bonding moment.

Alex Rodriguez, formerly of New York Yankees fame, understands the hype surrounding the “Vampire” singer after his experience with his teenager during one of the recent stops on the Guts World Tour. So after surviving tens of thousands of shrieking Livies, does A-Rod consider himself a fan? He told People: 

A-Rod really seemed to have an appreciation for what O-Rod brings to the stage, and it sounds like the angsty artist was a delight in real life too. (Because as the daughter of a World Series champion who won the Golden Glove Award twice and dated Jennifer Lopez, Ella definitely got to go backstage.) Rodriguez said: 

It’s great to hear that the teenager had such a fun time at the concert with her dad and that Olivia Rodrigo was part of a lasting memory with the pair. A-Rod shared a post to Instagram of his experience at the show, and despite being “exhausted” and just wanting to go to sleep after a day of filming, he powered through, and the video of him and Ella is too sweet. Seeing Ella pulling her dad into the venue as he asks his followers to wish him luck is so funny, and it’s simply heartwarming to see the big smile on his face as he films his daughter singing along with the crowd to Olivia Rodrigo’s moody vocals. 

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actress has gained quite an impressive following over the past few years, with Kim Kardashian claiming that she’s a fan. Tim McGraw also got caught jamming to Olivia Rodrigo’s hit “good 4 u,” thanks to his wife Faith Hill secretly recording a video of him rocking out in the car. If you weren’t able to see the singer before her Guts tour headed overseas, you can still catch her with your Disney+ subscription on Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u (A Sour Film).  

There was a time when it felt like former MLB player and current commentator Alex Rodriguez was in the news daily thanks to his then high-profile attachment to Jennifer Lopez. Of course, after her break-up with A-Rod, Lopez has moved on with Ben Affleck and her ex has moved on with fitness trainer Jaclyn Cordeiro, who has whipped him… into shape. 

While A-Rod had initially taken steps to get fit after his break-up with Lopez, he'd put on more weight in recent months. The 48-year-old athlete noted he ate “more plants” and cut back on “red meat,” per a note on Instagram. 

Those lifestyle changes enabled him to drop a whopping 32 lbs in his post-JLo era. And he may not have gotten around to doing it if it wasn’t for help from Cordeiro, who appeared in his results pic on Instagram looking pretty fit for being in her forties herself. Take a look.

The ESPN personality also took his family on vacation to the Dominican Republic this week, where they enjoyed more fun in the sun. And where the former pro athlete showed off the work he'd put in once more. 

He didn't spend the entire trip shirtless, but I can see why we got a little shirtless action in his post. Hey, when you put in the work and see the weight shed, you might as well show it off! He's not the first celebrity to make big health moves over the last year either.

A lot of actors and TV personalities over the last year took the time to get into shape. Kelly Clarkson dropped 40 lbs following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. Alyson Hannigon knocked off 20 pounds thanks to Dancing with the Stars’ intense workout regimen. And Ben Napier simply decided to get healthy and dropped a whopping 95 lbs after he came to a realization about his weight during a Home Town interview. 

Sometimes it's a circumstance and sometimes it's a person who is the catalyst for getting motivated, but what I like most about A-Rod's approach is that it seems like little changes made a big difference. Here's hopping 2024 continues to be a happier, fitter, more productive year. 

It's hard to believe Entourage ended its eight-season run so long ago, in 2011 (not counting the less-than-well-recieved movie in 2015). For the length of the show, one thing that kept audiences coming back for more each week was the great celebrity cameos. What started as a trickle in the first season, became a flood towards the end, with big stars always showing up, usually with hilarious results. Here is our list of some of the funniest celebrity cameos on Entourage. 

Mark Wahlberg

It makes sense that Mark Wahlberg would be the first cameo on the show, appearing in the very first episode of Season 1. Entourage was (very) loosely based on his experiences in Hollywood as a young actor, and the Boogie Nights star was a producer of the show. 

David Schwimmer

A great thing about the cameos was that often the celebrities weren't afraid to poke a little fun at themselves. Take, for example, David Schwimmer's spot in the Season 6 episode "Running on E." Schwimmer sits in a pitch meeting with super agent Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) team and offer after offer is for the Friends star to play some sort of neurotic character for comedic effect. The frustration for Schwimmer is palpable. 

Peter Dinklage

One of the most common tropes on the show was the stars taking potshots at Ari. Ari was a character we all loved to hate, but it turns out most of the celebrities playing themselves also hated Ari. Peter Dinklage is one of those when he trades barbs with Ari at a party in the Season 2 "Sundance Kids."

John Stamos

John Stamos was the perfect type of celeb to show on Entourage. It was always fun to see how a cameo appearance might just be an opportunity to take down lovable loser Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon). In a bit of a twist, after getting insulted by Stamos a few times, the two play an epic match of ping pong that ends predicably for Drama in the Season 7 episode "Tequila Sunrise." 

Jeffrey Tambor

Jeffrey Tambor plays a jerk like few others can in Hollywood. When he's playing a fictionalized version of himself being to jerk to his kids, it's comedy gold. Fictional life as a jerk and real life have blurred together for Tambor, but his appearance in Season 6 is still really funny. 

Matt Damon

Matt Damon takes charity very seriously, so his cameo on Entourage, in the Season 6 finale, fits perfectly. It's also a rare time that Vince (Adrian Grenier) is the one getting clowned when he tries to dodge both Damon and Bono into giving money to their charity to help children.  

Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer's guest spot on the show is a little different than most on this list. He doesn't play himself, but the role is so brief – and so funny – that it had to be included. In Season 1, the Top Gun: Maverick star plays a "sherpa" living in a giant house in Beverly Hills like a '60s hippie. 

Snoop Dogg

No one brings joy like Snoop Dogg. There is never a time when people are unhappy to see the legendary rapper show up somewhere on TV and Entourage is no exception. The brief interaction between Snoop, Vince, and Eric (Kevin Connolly), partly highlights the confusion of how to pronounce "Cannes" in the Season 4 episode "The Dream Team."

James Cameron

The Season 2 episode "Sundance Kids" really kicked the cameos on the show into overdrive and one of the best of the whole series is James Cameron. Vince is trying to land a role in his Aquaman movie, so Turtle and Drama try to help (and fail). The best part, though, is Cameron's interaction with a barista (played by This Is Us star Chrissy Metz). 

Tom Brady

Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) is a die-hard New York Giants fan, so when he meets Tom Brady at a charity golf tournament, he does what any self-respecting fan would do, he blows him off and refuses to shake his hand. It's brilliant. 

Martin Scorsese

Entourage proved just how big it was for celeb cameos when none other than Martin Scorsese appeared for a brief scene to offer Vince a role in his fictional The Great Gatsby movie in the finale of Season 5. You know you've made it when Scorsese gets involved. 

Scarlett Johansson

Season 1 ends with a big-time star appearance when the one and only Scarlett Johansson cameos on the phone with Vince, after Eric promises him to land a date with the superstar actress. It works, though it's the last time we'd see Johansson on the show. 

Stan Lee

Comic legend Stan Lee became the king of cameos with his iconic moments in the MCU universe for years, a streak that ended with his death in 2018. It's all too appropriate that we include him on this list, not only due to Lee's status as a cameo-king but because his quick role is just so funny as he can't quite place where he's seen Vince's adult film star girlfriend, Sasha Grey, before.

Lamar Odom

Entourage was replete with professional athletes throughout its run. Lamar Odom shows up pretty early in the show's run, in "An Offer Refused" in Season 2. The cameo is notable because of the way Drama gets obsessed with how men's calves look, including Odom's, which understandably freaks the NBA star out. 

Bono

Bono's appearance in the Season 6 finale is brilliant. He only appears via computer screen, as he's on a video call with Matt Damon and teams up with Damon to gang up on Vince to guilt him into getting on board with their charity. It's vintage Bono, pushing a charity but not taking himself as seriously as the world perceives him to be. 

Bobby Flay

Ari being a jerk to someone isn't a surprise, but Ari being a jerk to Bobby Flay is, pardon the pun, pure gold. Flay is great playing himself as the chef at his own restaurant, one of Ari's favorites, but the two bicker before Flay has had enough in the Season 8 episode "Whiz Kid." 

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara's cameo is notable because she's not playing herself. While she herself is perfect for the role as a Colombian actress auditioning for the movie Medellin, it's funny because of how ridiculous the rest of Vince's team reacts to her. The first episode of Season 2 is one of the most unique, and funniest, of the show's run. 

M. Night Shyamalan

M. Night Shyamalan's appearance in the episode "Sorry, Harvey" in Season 4 is classic Entourage. Playing himself, he's angry at Ari for not reading his latest script and confronts the super agent to call him on it. It's the kind of cameo we've come to expect from this show, a major star fighting with Ari. 

Christina Aguilera

The Season 7 finale, "Lose Yourself" is one of the saddest of the show, for a few reasons. One is Ari throwing a lavish party for his wife to keep her from leaving him complete with Christina Aguilera singing "You Are Beautiful," only to have his wife not show.  Aguilera gets mad at Ari (naturally) and demands his Lakers playoffs tickets to keep performing. 

Adrian Peterson

NFL superstar Adrian Peterson selling a dinosaur skull. Is there anything more that needs to be said? The Season 7 episode "Tequila and Coke" has a great moment poking fun at people investing in fossils, and yes, Nic Cage gets a shout-out. 

Zac Efron

It's no surprise that Ari would be trying to steal a client from another agent, but what makes Zac Efron's cameo on Entourage so funny is his interaction with a fan while on the phone with Ari. A mom using her daughter to get Efron's autograph (and pushing for, um, more) is hilarious. 

Kanye West

Vince and his crew have no problem asking anyone for a favor. Kanye West is the victim of one of the most outlandish requests when they beg him for a ride on his private plane to France, even though Ye is headed for London in "No Cannes Do" from Season 4. The rapper is stunned and doesn't hide it, but still, who can turn down Vince? No one, not even Ye.

David Spade

David Spade is the perfect star for a cameo on Entourage. In his, he's got women on both arms and plays a total jerk. While he's surely not a jerk, he somehow has that public perception, which is what makes the cameo so much fun in the Season 8 episode titled "The Big Bang." Spade is just hilarious. 

Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson is clearly a good sport. Despite the show taking a shot at the pro golfer's failure at the 2006 U.S. Open, he later agreed to appear on the show, if only to show up Ari. A chance meeting on the golf course between Mickelson, and Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, led to the role. Kizmet. 

50 Cent

50 Cent makes one of the briefest cameos on the show, but it's one of the best. When he sees Turtle driving, he pulls up alongside and manages to take Turtle down a notch, despite the fancy ride he's driving in. Turtle has a rough time in his birthday episode, "One Car, Two Car, Red Car, Blue Car," from Season 6.

Aaron Sorkin

Aaron Sorkin's first cameo (he made two) on Entourage came in an episode named after him, "The Sorkin Notes" in Season 6. Sorkin is caught up in some drama in Ari's office that he wants no part of and is hilarious in a rare acting role for the writer and director. Now can we get that West Wing revival starring Sterling K. Brown that Sorkin had an idea for, please?

Dean Cain

Another very brief cameo comes from Dean Cain. The former Superman actor disrupts one of Drama's auditions, which crushes Drama, as he figures there's no one he can compete with Cain for the part. It's vintage Johnny Drama in the Season 6 episode "Scared Straight." It's another moment in which you can't help but feel terrible for Drama. 

Eminem

The Season 7 finale, "Lose Yourself," not only foreshadows Vince's downward spiral, but Eminem's cameo. In one of the lowest moments of Vince's life, he first insults Minka Kelly, then gets into a fistfight with Eminem. It's as sad as it is funny, a line the show walked brilliantly in the episode. 

Alex Rodriguez

How tragic would be to hear that you lost out on a ton of money from former Yankee Alex Rodriguez? That's what happens to Turtle when the shortstop-turned-third-baseman shows up on screen to tell Turtle that the tequila company he once owned a lot of stock in went public after he sold out. Ouch. 

Steve Nash

Poor Steve Nash. The NBA star was at the height of his fame when he was unwittingly cornered by Eric at his manager's office (Scott Caan). Eric dumps all of his girlfriend problems on the Canadian basketball player's feet in the Season 6 episode "Murphy's Lie," and all Nash can do is look stunned. 

Johnny Galecki

Johnny Galecki's role in Entourage was a little more than one cameo, it was more like three cameos over three episodes and he plays a fictionalized version of himself who makes Eric's life hell by dating Eric's ex-girlfriend Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui). This version of Galecki is terrible but completely hilarious. 

Jessica Simpson

As Ari tries to protect his client base, he's forced to go hat in hand to a client who's mad at him for not caring when her dog died. Jessica Simpson meets Ari at the door in "Bottoms Up" from Season 7, and in classic Entourage fashion, makes Ari look like the jerk that he is, despite his insincere attempt to gift another dog to Simpson. It sums up everything a great Entourage cameo should be. A big star, an unrepentant Ari, and some choice lines. 

This is a list that could be almost endless, and we didn't even get into the multiple cameos in the Entourage movie, one of which featured Channing Tatum that didn't actually happen. 

Alex Rodriguez is widely known for his stellar professional baseball career but, more recently, he’s made headlines due to his active love life. The celebrated shortstop and third baseman was most notably romantically involved with Jennifer Lopez for several years before they split. JLo has, of course, since moved on and married former lover Ben Affleck. For the past few months, it’s been rumored that Alex Rodriguez is dating Jac Cordeiro, a Canadian fitness instructor who founded the wellness brand JacFit. Up until this point, the mostly private A-Rod hadn’t publicly addressed the speculation. This weekend, the retired athlete took to Instagram to post a sweet holiday photo that features him, Cordeiro and his two daughters, Natasha (18) and Ella (14). The group looked incredibly fresh as they stood in front of a massive Christmas tree. Check it out: 

That’s a Kodak moment if I ever saw one. The group appeared to be at a Christmas party of sorts, and one would think that they had fun. The legendary New York Yankee also shared some additional photos on his Instagram stories. One of them showed the group hanging out with UCLA gymnast Mia Erdoes. Take a look:

Alex Rodriguez and Jac Cordeiro were first linked in October after they were spotted holding hands in public. At the time, sources told Page Six that Rodriguez was “very happy and enjoying [their] time together.” At this point, it seems like the two are mostly keeping things low key, which is a bit of a change-up from the World Series champ’s relationship with JLo.

A-Rod and Jennifer Lopez began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2019. By early 2021, rumors swirled that he and JLo were breaking up. Rodriguez responded to the chatter, saying that the “reports are inaccurate” and that he and his lady were “working through some things.” Though additional evidence (including a PDA-packed post) seemed to back that up, the two eventually split by April of that year. Rumors suggested that the breakup was due to an alleged fling between Rodriguez and Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy. However, both he and LeCroy shot down that notion.

Funny enough, since the breakup, A-Rod has popped into JLo’s orbit on a few occasions. Rodriguez has also proven to have a great sense of humor, based on the way he’s poked fun at his relationship status post-breakup. He’s also kept himself busy, as he embarked on a weight loss journey all while keeping up with his lucrative enterprises.

At present, it looks like Alex Rodriguez is definitely enjoying the holiday season. It’s clear that the star has moved on from JLo, and he should be quite content as he prepares to ring in the new year. We’ll see what 2023 brings for him, Jac Cordeiro and his loved ones in 2023.

The personal life of Jennifer Lopez is one that it seems the world will never be tired of hearing about. To be fair, she has dated a number of high profile celebrities in her life, including former baseball star Alex Rodriguez, who she was engaged to marry at one time. That was her relationship prior to getting back together with Ben Affleck, who she did eventually marry. But A-Rod says there are now hard feelings.

During a recent interview on CNN, Alex Rodriguez was asked about his former relationship with Jennifer Lopez, and how he felt to see her get back with Affleck so soon after their engagements ended. Rodriguez chose to keep his answer clear of controversy, simply wishing the newlyweds the best, and saying no more. In his words… 

It was in April 2021 when it was confirmed that Jennifer Lopez had Alex Rodriguez and ended their relationship. But it was only a couple of weeks later when the first rumors of Lopez and Ben Affleck getting back together started to come out. We eventually learned that this new relationship was real, and the pair, that had been engaged previously, actually got married this past July in Las Vegas.

I’m not sure anybody would blame Alex Rodriguez, if there were some hard feelings there. But if that’s the case, he’s certainly not going to talk about them right now. Ultimately we have no idea what happened to end that relationship, and we may never know. His positive comments here might not be the whole story, but that doesn’t mean they’re not genuine as far as they go. He’s been asked about Lopez’s marriage before and A-Rod spoke about how important the kids were, and reiterates that here.

And there’s at least a viable reason why Lopez and Affleck got together so quickly and then did eventually get married. They’d been together before and had nearly been married before. Seeing a brand new relationship progress the way this one did would have been surprising, though certainly not unheard of, but in this case it’s not hard to see the couple simply picking up where they left off. 

Whether you’re personally connected to the people involved or just fans, certainly we all hope that everybody looking for love finds it. It’s not exactly the easiest thing in the world to achieve for anybody, even the rich and famous. 

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck picked up their relationship seemingly right where they left it in 2004. The two started dating again in April of 2021 and got engaged (for the second time) just a year later. In a slightly awkward but nonetheless sweet development, it turns out JLo’s ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, still looks back on his relationship with the entertainer with relative fondness amid her renewed romance taking off.

The MLB legend and triple-threat superstar had previously been on their own way to marital bliss. But after four years of dating, two of which they spent engaged, they called things off in March of 2021. While on The Martha Stewart Podcast recently, A-Rod was asked by the namesake host about what the relationship was like for him. And he responded with nothing but kind words, saying:

JLo arguably makes the same case about her icon status and hard work in her new documentary Halftime (streaming now for Netflix subscribers). It focuses primarily on the lead-up to her performance at the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show alongside co-headliner Shakira but also tackled her struggles with being accepted and taken seriously in the entertainment industry in broader terms.

Oddly enough, despite being deep into his engagement to her at the time the doc was filmed, A-Rod was nowhere to be seen in the footage. (Although, there is indication that he was definitely present for halftime show prep over on his YouTube channel.) Someone who was actually featured was Ben Affleck, who asked his pop star fiancée if fame "bothers" her. Supposedly, the ESPN broadcaster wasn’t too salty by the snub but, if we’re reading between the liens correctly, he might’ve just thrown a teeny tiny bit of shade of his own. Because he added to Martha Stewart that he’s “never been healthier, happier and more grateful” in his life.

The tail end of JLo and A-Rod’s relationship was reportedly quite the dramatic affair. During the Season 7 reunion of Southern Charm, a reality series on Bravo, the Minnesota Timberwolves co-owner was accused of having a fling with Madison LeCroy, one of its stars. LeCroy, claimed that they only spoke on the phone, yet Rodriguez adamantly denied that anything happened. In the weeks following, rumors of breakups and crying kids abounded until the once-beloved couple broke up for good.

The Hustlers actress was then later seen out and about with her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck. The 49-year-old eventually made a sudsy bathtub proposal to JLo – obviously, she said yes. And they might just be ringing the wedding bells sooner rather than later, according to some reports.

It’s only been 16-plus years in the making, after all. Meanwhile, A-Rod is speculated to be currently dating the 24-year-old influencer Kathryne Padgett. When Martha Stewart casually pressed him for deets, the World Series champ kept things relatively more close to vest, saying that he was focused on family and business at present.

In the weeks leading up to Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s split as a couple, cheating allegations based out of the reality TV world were continuously hounding the former MLB star. He denied the claims, which didn't stop them from calling off their 2-year-long engagement, and it wasn’t long before JLo reignited her early-aughts romance with Ben Affleck. A brouhaha then ensued that saw A-Rod both getting trolled online, and seemingly being an occasional troll himself about his high-profile ex. However, it looks like he’s now moved on from the situation entirely.

According to a source for Us Weekly, A-Rod has also found a new romance. The woman in question is 25-year-old Kathryne Padgett, a model and bodybuilder. Supposedly, the two have been dating since April, but they “haven’t put a title on their relationship yet.” For the time being, they’re apparently content just vibing on their “good chemistry.” Fans can still see when the ESPN commentator wrote on one of Padgett’s Instagram posts and actually took credit for snapping the pics:

That’s all well and good, because just from the outside looking in, it was getting a little awkward there for a minute. In the wake of the big breakup and the second coming of “Bennifer,” A-Rod was reportedly popping up with frequency in the same sphere as his former fiancée – from renting down the road from JLo to being anchored a few yachts away from her and Affleck last summer. Someone was seemingly hoping to thwart them from accidently bumping into each other, as Rodriguez even made it public knowledge how a party invite hosted by a friend of theirs seemingly got lost in the mail for him, but not for her…

Alas, everyone has since moved onwards and upwards. Amidst A-Rod’s prospects supposedly improving on the romantic side, JLo has since gotten formally engaged (again) to the notorious Good Will Hunting actor. And according to the pop star, she’s much better about balancing work and personal matters ahead of their marriage than she was when they originally coupled up over a decade ago.

Still, the brouhaha would’ve surely continued in the land of former exes had Alex Rodriguez really been taking up with his reported fling from last year (Madison LeCroy of Bravo’s Southern Charm fame) as had been speculated. He denied those rumors himself, and they were debunked further when it came to light that LeCroy was engaged to a new man as well. (Their future wedding will see several Southern Charm co-stars pointedly not invited, FYI.)

What we know so far about the upcoming eighth season of Southern Charm – the reality series that exposed the supposed A-Rod hookup during its last reunion special – is that the drama is in full swing yet again. Craig Conover’s ex was brought back into the fold, Madison LeCroy has indeed returned, and it’s expected that she’ll address those prior accusations in more depth (fingers crossed). It’s evident that at least one of her castmates, to this day, still believes there was some legitimacy to the fling despite all the denials. Everybody got drama these days, clearly.

While I doubt Alex Rodriguez and his possible new girlfriend will be watching, Jennifer Lopez's new documentary Halftime will debut for those with a Netflix subscription on Tuesday, June 14.

Sports fans have not been left wanting when it comes to docuseries. In the past few years alone, we’ve seen the Michael Jordan-centric project The Last Dance and Tom Brady’s Man in the Arena, both of which earned positive reviews and strong ratings. And more recently, They Call Me Magic, a four-part program focusing on the legendary Los Angeles Laker, has dropped. It’s clear that sports documentary series aren’t going away anytime soon and, with that, there are several iconic athletes who should get projects of their own. 

Now, some of the people we’re going to discuss have had television specials or films that have tackled aspects of their lives. However, they’ve yet to have multi-part shows that cover their professional and personal lives in great detail and, most importantly, feature the subjects themselves candidly telling their own stories. There are some truly interesting personalities within the world of sports, and fans would certainly love to see them reflect on their journeys. So let’s jump in and discuss the legends who deserve their own docuseries: 

Jim Brown

Most would agree that Jim Brown is one of the greatest athletes America has ever known. The retired fullback was a standout football player at Syracuse University (also competing in basketball, track and field and lacrosse) before being drafted into the NFL by the Cleveland Browns. From there, he went on to win numerous honors, including three league MVP awards and multiple Pro Bowl and All-NFL selections, which helped land him in the hall of fame. Of course, he was also a noted civil rights activist during the ‘60s. And to top it all off, he also achieved fame as a movie star after his playing days were done.

The now-86-year-old icon has lived quite a life, one that certainly deserves to be covered in a docuseries. Said show could tackle his life as a professional athlete, his activism and more. I’d personally love to get some additional insight into his acting career as well. I mean, come on, you all know you want some behind-the-scenes Mars Attacks! stories.

Wayne Gretzky

There are few names that stand out like Wayne Gretsky’s does. Sure, it’s unique on its own, but the prolific hockey player’s array of accomplishments, like his numerous medals, broken records and NHL honors, are what really give his name its bite. I know what you’re thinking and, yes, the man, who’s considered to be the greatest to ever play the sport, has had a documentary. But he could still use a multi-episode series in which he discusses his exploits in greater detail. 

So what could that project cover? Well, there’s his childhood in Canada, his effect on the game of hockey (see the Gretsky rule) and the notorious 1988 trade that sent him from the Edmonton Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings. There’s a lot of material, which could certainly fill multiple installments of a series.

Barry Bonds

Yes, Barry Bonds has become somewhat of a polarizing figure in the sports world, but there’s still no denying that he’s one of the greatest baseball players to ever step up to the plate. A 14-time MLB All-Star and 12-time Silver Slugger Award winner, he holds numerous honors, including the record for most career home runs at 762. It’s definitely clear that he’s proven himself as a stellar athlete, but his work on the baseball diamond isn't the only reason he’d make a good documentary series subject. His life off the field would also be a major draw. 

Most are likely aware that Barry Bonds became embroiled in a steroids scandal that rocked the baseball world in the 2000s. Said situation is what essentially kept him from being elected to the sport’s hall of fame. A series could allow Bonds the chance to share his thoughts on the subject as well as other controversies like his failed reality TV show and the highly publicized books that have been written about him. Combine these topics with his on-field heroics, and you’ve got an intriguing tale.

Dennis Rodman

Seriously, who doesn’t want to dive into the mind of Dennis Rodman? We got a taste of the eccentric former power forward’s life in The Last Dance but now I’m ready for more. Though many remember him for his wild hairstyles and off-court antics, we must also keep in mind that he was a rebounding machine and a key part of both the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls’ championship teams. His role in securing those titles is part of the reason why he’s immortalized in the basketball hall of fame today. 

There’s so much that can be covered in a Dennis Rodman docuseries, from his struggles with poverty and homelessness as a youth to his rise as one of the NBA’s finest. And of course, it has to tackle his “extracurricular activities.” (His mid-season trip to Vegas with the ageless Carmen Electra is only the tip of the iceberg.) I really hope this one happens and, if not, I’ll just have to settle for the movie Phil Lord and Chris Miller are making.

Alex Rodriguez

It’s honestly surprising that there’s yet to be a documentary centered on baseball legend Alex Rodriguez. (Well, there’s 2018’s Screwball, but that’s a different kind of doc.) Rodriguez’s résumé pretty much speaks for itself, as it includes 14 All-Star selections, three American League MVP awards and a World Series title, among other things. He’s surely one of the most gifted athletes the public has ever seen and is definitely deserving of his own docuseries. 

A-Rod’s upbringing is very interesting, as he’s the son of Dominican immigrants and spent a portion of his childhood living in the Dominican Republic. A series could tackle that along with his illustrious career. His storied (and controversial) run with the New York Yankees, would also be a major point of interest. And maybe, just maybe, we can get some insight into his highly publicized romance with Jennifer Lopez (which ended in a breakup).

Venus and Serena Williams

There’s probably not a single sports fan who hasn’t at least heard of Venus and Serena Williams. The sisters took the tennis world by storm as youngsters and have since earned numerous accolades. The pair are considered the two greatest athletes to ever play the game, which is why they've already received both a documentary and a feature film (Will Smith’s Oscar-winning King Richard) based on their lives. Serena did have a solo series, Being Serena, which focused solely on her pregnancy, marriage and return to tennis a few years ago. However, we've still yet to get a definitive series headlined by both that focuses on their entire bodies of work.

Their story is one that many know by now, but it would still be great to see them discuss their careers in depth in a definitive series. Their upbringing in Compton and their rise to top of the tennis ranks is certainly interesting enough to warrant such a production. I’d also love a deeper look into how the two manage their various brands and endorsements.

LeBron James

After The Last Dance, I’m sure basketball fans are eager for LeBron James to get his time in the sun. Next to Michael Jordan, James is widely regarded as the greatest player to ever step on a court. He’s accomplished a number of feats over the course of his career, which make him more than worthy of the praise he gets. Multiple NBA championships, MVP awards, All-Star selections and scoring records are just a few of the big-ticket accomplishments he has. 

Though aside from the accolades, he’s also simply an interesting individual with a compelling story. A docuseries could focus on his early life in Akron, Ohio, where he was raised by his single mother. Within his playing career, one of the biggest subjects that would surely be discussed is his highly publicized decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers (the first time) and the backlash he received. He could also address claims that he “ruined” the game of basketball. 2008’s More than a Game did a masterful job of covering his early years, but plenty has happened to the Space Jam: A New Legacy lead since, prompting the need for a new production.

There are surely plenty of others who deserve their own documentary series, in which they can regale viewers with their stories, but these are certainly some of the biggest. One can only hope that such projects will happen sooner rather than later.

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez and the “Bennifer” fanbase who ship them are in a time of celebration. The Hollywood couple is now officially engaged for the second time, following more than a decade apart, and interestingly, that green engagement ring has some personal meaning for the actress. It came out that Affleck actually popped the question whilst she was in the bathtub of all places. However, what’s even funnier than the proposal location is how JLo’s ex-fiancé A-Rod got trolled over the exciting news by his ESPN co-star.

Nothing like a co-worker busting your chops on live TV, eh? During the debut segment of the Kay-Rod broadcast on ESPN2, the Boston Red Sox were up by one on the New York Yankees, and so too was Michael Kay getting a one-up on A-Rod, apparently. Kay casually mentioned how it was a “happy time” in the world, given how people were “getting engaged.” Wink, wink. He never explicitly mentioned Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez by name, but the MLB icon certainly caught his drift. See the hilarious and slightly awkward moment, per Entertainment Tonight, below:

As you can see, A-Rod was a pretty good sport about the dig. He and JLo were engaged for two years themselves before their sudden breakup announcement in February of 2021. But he responded to the insinuation of his ex’s new circumstances with a little humor of his own, saying it was “great” and that “happiness and world peace is what we’re looking for.”

At this point, the sports news commentator should be used to getting trolled by others about Jennifer Lopez. Following their split and JLo later reuniting with Ben Affleck, A-Rod in fact was the brunt of a brutal prank by an imposter Ben Affleck that involved some chicken-topping pizzas. Then, a crowd of Red Sox fans heckled him at a playoff game not long after, with a rousing chant of his ex’s name.

Alex Rodriguez himself was thought to have been trolling JLo after their split, with an Insta snap of her red Porshe that he actually bought for her 50th birthday when they were still together. Nevertheless, the post was deleted, and the former ball player has been taking the high road ever since, to include poking fun at his own relationship deficiencies.

The saga of Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s relationship was indeed more than a little rocky towards the end. A-Rod was accused of linking up with Madison LeCroy from the Bravo reality series Southern Charm, who is engaged herself to a new man of late. They both denied anything physical took place, but it wouldn’t be long before the Internet’s “Mom and Dad” eventually called things off for good.

It was evidently for the best, though. Jennifer Lopez called the engagement to Ben Affleck their “second chance at true love.” All she needs now is replica of that wedding dress from the Marry Me premiere for her own upcoming nuptials. Should fans (or A-Rod, if he likes) need to catch up on JLo’s latest flick, it is streaming over on Peacock Premium.

It was the Bravo reunion to end them all last year with Southern Charm’s Season 8 special. Craig Conover flat-out accused co-star Madison LeCroy of sleeping around with an (unnamed) famous MLB player, who turned out afterwards to be Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod denied the allegations at the time, but his longtime engagement with Jennifer Lopez would come to an end a few months later. Of late, another co-star claimed to believe that LeCroy’s alleged fling with A-Rod did happen – and LeCroy is seemingly having none of it.

Specifically, it was Leva Bonaparte that affirmed on S’More Date’s Instagram Live that she thinks the A-Rod hookup accusations involving Madison LeCroy were legitimate. Bonaparte, a relatively new castmate on Southern Charm, didn't explain her conviction further, but her “yeah” response was apparently heard by LeCroy herself. The notoriously shady and longtime Bravo alum supposedly clapped back at the insinuation in the clip, per Page Six, by saying:

So far as we know, the supposed real facts, according to Madison LeCroy, are such that she did have communication with A-Rod but that no physical contact, hookup, fling, or otherwise took place. In the wake of the bombshell reunion, LeCroy claimed that the two of them were only “acquaintances.” Yet, the Southern Charm alum would joke later on about JLo's reignited romance with ex Ben Affleck, with a “You’re welcome.”

It's believed that the Bravo star will have to speak more on the A-Rod issue in the upcoming season of Southern Charm. However, her relationship with new fiancé Brett Randle will apparently be off limits – because he doesn't want to be part of the show. And who can blame him? His arrival on the scene follows much controversy... The starlet would also add that their future wedding doesn't include any of her castmates on the guest list, either.

If it wasn't already clear by Lena Bonaparte’s casual commentary or Madison LeCroy’s blacklisted wedding list, there is reportedly discord amongst the cast in Season 8. As reported by Us Weekly in December, Bonaparte unfollowed several co-stars, including LeCroy, Kathryn Dennis, LeCroy’s ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll, and Craig Conover. She then posted a vague statement on her Instagram Stories that said:

Clearly, there's more drama brewing in Charleston. Whether it's A-Rod related, old drama with exes, or Kathryn Dennis' custody issues, Southern Charm fans should be in for a doozy. Season 8 will have the previous lineup of stars, with Naomie Olindo returning after a brief absence from the divisive seventh season. The new season is expected to premiere on Bravo in the spring.

The celebrity supercouple once known as J. Rod (that’s Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, for those who’ve been occupied with other interests recently) have been broken up since the middle of April. It was just a few weeks later that Lopez rekindled her relationship with a different former fiancé, Ben Affleck, and set the world of celeb romance shippers and internet gossip on fire. In the months since, though, Lopez and Rodriguez have continued to be linked through a number of trolling incidents. Now, the former New York Yankees player has been trolled about Lopez by Red Sox fans.

We all know that breaking up can be hard to do, but it would seem that it’s even harder when millions of strangers knew about your union and have both opinions about that breakup and knowledge of exactly how to stick it to you whenever possible. Alex Rodriguez was working as a commentator for the MLB playoffs recently as the Boston Red Sox faced off against the Houston Astros, and found himself the target of a serious trolling by Red Sox fans, when they began chanting “J.Lo” at him. Take a look at the video posted to Twitter, and we can discuss, below!

Man, these folks don’t play! If you don’t know your baseballs from your Bennifers, you might not be aware of just how deep this trolling goes. Obviously, the Lopez / Rodriguez breakup came with some rumors, as he was accused of cheating on the famed actress / singer / dancer, and soon saw the relationship end and her return to her long-ago love, Ben Affleck, quickly after. 

But! Affleck is a die hard Red Sox fan, and the intense rivalry between the Sox and Rodriguez’s former team, the Yankees, goes way back to 1919. Making his appearance at this game (even in a neutral capacity as a commentator), the perfect storm for these fans when it came to trolling opportunities. We don't know how Rodriguez reacted to the chanting, but even if he carried on as usual, it probably wasn't fun for him.

This is the latest in what is now a near constant line of trolling (or just general weirdness) over this whole Jennifer Lopez / Alex Rodriguez / Ben Affleck non-love triangle. Back in June, someone decided to prank the former baseball superstar by sending three pricey pizzas to the home he was staying at in the Hamptons, which just so happened to be near Lopez’s own residence in the area. That wasn’t the end of the prank, though, as this jokester got their troll on by ordering under the name “Ben Afflec.” 

While Lopez is more occupied with work and her renewed romance with the real Affleck, Rodriguez also seemed to get in on some trolling in August, when he posted a photo of himself with three of his fancy cars and in the caption said “I'm super down to earth.” However, fans noticed that one of those cars appeared to be the red Porshe he gifted Lopez for her 50th birthday, making it look like a subtle trolling. 

It would seem that fans can’t quite get over how fast Jennifer Lopez moved on after leaving Alex Rodriguez behind, but at least he appears to have a decent sense of humor about the whole thing.

It's not too often that a reality TV star is at the epicenter of an A-List celebrity breakup. Yet such was the case for Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy when one of her co-stars spilled some major beans at the last reunion special. Some cheating insinuations were thrown around that concerned none other than Alex Rodriguez. (A-Rod and his fiancée JLo called off their nearly 2-year engagement not long after.) With all the drama said and done, though, LeCroy is now engaged herself. (And no, not to A-Rod.)

Only a month after A-Rod and JLo announced their split, the alleged third party in their relationship was seemingly moving on, too. Madison LeCroy went Instagram official with her boyfriend Brett in June and now they're officially engaged. Before announcing it on Amazon Live, the Southern Charm star revealed to E! Online that her 8-year-old son approved and was actually there for the proposal:

Madison LeCroy also shared that Bravo fans shouldn't expect to see her new fiancé on the next season of Southern Charm. She said that she's “not going to be showing any of that” in order to “protect” the relationship as much as possible. Apparently, too, her fiancé “doesn't have any interest” in being on the show.

It's no wonder why Madison LeCroy's new beau doesn't want to take part in the drama of reality TV. Her last relationship of 3 years with Southern Charm co-star Austen Kroll was very volatile on the show. Kroll famously cheated on her before she took him back for that last and final time. After they broke up yet again, co-star Craig Conover alleged at the reunion that LeCroy was ironically sleeping around with a married Major League Baseball player. LeCroy and A-Rod both denied the allegations in the aftermath, yet she later admitted that to having phone contact.

Nevertheless, Madison LeCroy isn't the only one moving on from all the drama. A-Rod is poking fun at living the single life. Meanwhile, JLo has since gotten back together with her own ex-fiancé Ben Affleck. And sure enough, Bennifer is still very much cute.

Madison LeCroy has jokingly taken credit for giving us Bennifer 2.0. Hopefully she will also give us more insight on the whole A-Rod situation in the upcoming season of Southern Charm. If not, the ongoing custody drama for Kathryn Dennis might take center stage, once again.

It seems from the outside that Alex Rodriguez is doing the most to be totally cool after his breakup with Jennifer Lopez. And by cool, we mean partying yachts away from JLo and her new/old beau, Ben Affleck, or casually asking her friends whether his party invite got lost in the mail. Despite his Johnny Bravo coolness, though, A-Rod still has the grace to poke fun at his own current relationship status of late and how it got to be that way.

While JLo’s occupied making Bennifer a thing again, to much fanfare across the board, Alex Rodriguez is back to the old grindstone – i.e. being a commentator on Fox Sports. I could be wrong here, but I guess they all talk about baseball and stuff…Yet what actually piques my interest is that his colleagues decided to troll him over his love life. An old fan-cam clip of A-Rod and his other ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz, during a game was unearthed and, in the segment, the former ball player jokingly concedes that the video is perhaps evidence why he's now single. If we’re reading between the lines here, perhaps A-Rod is saying he's single because he is and will always be too engrossed with his love for baseball? I mean, clearly, the man couldn’t take his eyes off a game for even a second to focus on Cameron Diaz hand-feeding him! (The blasphemy.) Then again, it could simply just be the way that he munches on the snack that keeps him single.

But if it is the former, then it actually goes back to A-Rod’s former relationship with JLo. It was speculated at one point that their romance was in trouble because the two couldn't find time together in their busy work schedules. (He was handling his sports-related obligations, and JLo was in fact filming Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic for most of this year, prior to their split.) However, other reports suggest that the cheating insinuations made at the Southern Charm reunion special (of all places) impacted the trust between the two, prompting them to call off their two-year engagement.

Nevertheless, in their joint breakup statement released in April, the two only maintained that they would be “better as friends.” More recently, A-Rod continued the high road route when asked about his breakup, saying that he is doing a “good job at learning” from his lessons and “everything happens for a reason.”

His recent “down to earth” post, including a red Porsche he bought her years ago, has many speculating if he has in fact taken to trolling JLo now.

In the new Instagram post, Alex Rodriguez poses casually next to three of his luxury cars, with only the caption, “I'm super down to earth.” Now, of course, there's no direct jab at JLo there. It's just what I would expect a typical multi-millionaire former MLB player would do to stunt. But in the comments, fans quickly pointed out that he was seemingly stunting on JLo – because that's technically her red Porsche he’s sitting on. Check out his post below:

He ponders what to get for “someone who has everything.” Apparently, getting a sports car for someone who doesn’t drive was the inevitable answer. Alex Rodriguez was doing the rounds to promote his Presidente beer line this week, but of course his fans are still interested in what happened between the former MLB player and the Hustlers star. He said he’s spent the months since his split focusing on family, but also was pretty kind about what happened leading to the end of his engagement, telling ET he believes “everything happens for a reason.”

The months before Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez officially called it quits were fraught with rumors that the couple was headed to splitsville. At one point, JLo was filming her new movie (the one that was supposed to star Armie Hammer before his sex cannibal text scandal) and the entrepreneur popped down to the Dominican Republic to visit her. The move was seen as an effort to work things out. That didn’t happen, and the couple announced they were calling it quits in April of this year.

Rodriguez has seemingly had this attitude all along, as an insider quoted him as focusing on himself and his family shortly after Bennifer got back together. However, now A-Rod himself is openly sharing his feelings about the break-up and where he's at personally.

These days, the MLB star is doubling down on family time with "breakfast club" Saturdays, in which he spends 90 minutes in the morning just hanging with his daughters in the mornings. He also says he’s “grateful” for the events of the past year, which despite his major break-up allowed him time to slim down and spend more time with his girls.

At the end of the day, the pieces that feel into place may not have been what Alex Rodriguez expected; however, he seems pretty happy with how things panned out. Although, I wish someone had asked him how he and JLo ended up yachting in basically the same locale at the same time for their respective birthdays.

Despite this, there have still been continued connections between Lopez and her ex as the two vacationed for their birthdays on major yachts in the same locale and so on and so forth. Now, however, poor A-Rod’s been trolled by a “Ben Afflec” -- note the lack of a “k” on the name.

Apparently, back in June, some enterprising prankster did a little research. They figured out where Alex Rodriguez was staying in the Hamptons (near JLo’s own pad, I might add) and then, after acquiring the address, they sent a little order to the Florida-based online pizza place Bulls Bears & Squares. The person in question spent a whopping $141.32 to send around three pies with chicken toppings to A-Rod’s Hamptons home. That may seem pretty pricy, but the pizzas aren't cheap.

That was not the end to the trolling, either. As part of the researching of A-Rod’s summer home and the literal sending of chicken pizzas, the person in question also inputted the name of Ben Afflec on the order, which is, of course, one letter off from the name of JLo’s new beau. The pizza place owner, Samuel Tadros, confirmed the chicken order to TMZ, with the outlet noting the order was “symbolic.”

I have no idea what A-Rod’s reaction to this prank was or if he was even around when the pizzas showed up, and the pizza place confirmed there was no note sent along with the order. We may never know why the pizzas were sent by some prankster, but the former MLB player is doing just fine after the the big pizza event. Since then, he celebrated his 46th birthday by jet-setting around parts of Europe, including St. Tropez, France in a yacht. He posted a bunch of fabulous looking posts from the lengthy and momentous event.

In this case, the pizza didn't cost the celeb a thing... but A-Rod also recently lost weight and has been looking fit as a fiddle, so even if those pizzas were delectable looking, I'd be surprised if they made their way into his belly. The athlete has also been busy and it's unclear how much time he actually spent in the Hamptons, as he has been seen out and about since his epic yachting trip doing other fun events, including the recent "Field of Dreams" event that Kevin Costner also attended. Impending nuptials may not longer be a thing he's looking forward to, but he's certainly had no problem filling his time.

I don’t think I really even have to mention that Jennifer Lopez looks great in her Instagram post, but if I were a person who enjoyed stating the obvious, I'd say she looks great. Plus, she has three more movies lined up and ready to go: The Mother, Atlas, and The Godmother. She also released a new bikini-clad music video “Cambia El Paso” a little less than a month ago and worked with Lin-Manuel Miranda to re-release a track to remember the Pulse nightclub victims. In November, This is Me...Then -- an album dedicated to Ben Affleck -- will also turn 19.

In addition, the singer, actress, producer and businesswoman has seemingly had a new lease on life of late as she has spent time with her new beau Ben Affleck, rekindling a romance that started years ago. The two had been engaged for a time between 2002 and 2004. Bennifer didn’t make it down the aisle then, but it seems as if things are getting serious again now, and Jennifer Lopex confirmed the romance with Affleck via a post while on this recent yachting trip.

That is, of course, after her pal Leah Remini may have let a photo of the couple at her birthday party slip.

The third thing Lopez has to celebrate is that fact that, at 52, that JLo is in great shape. She’s managed to maintain her bikini body through a combination of workouts and her diet, which includes a lot of organic foods, drinking a lot of water, and definitely does not include consuming caffeine. For the movie Hustlers a few short years ago, she even learned to pole dance (though that fitness skill set came at a cost).

So, if she wants to show off her assets while she’s celebrating her birthday, she’s certainly put the work in. While I still think it’s a little odd she and her ex A-Rod were yachting in the same place at the same time, both for their birthdays, it seems this was a year worth celebrating indeed.

As fans will likely know, Jennifer Lopez jumped right back into the dating game by renewing her romance with another ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck, just a few weeks after her split from Alex Rodriguez. But, A-Rod has still been popping into JLo's life since the break up. In the past few months, not only has he posted on social media about hanging out with his own ex-wife after all of the interest in Bennifer 2.0 began to mount, he also recently moved into a rental property near the Lopez manse in the Hamptons.

Even more recently (like, this month), A-Rod playfully admitted to being disappointed at not being invited to a big celebrity bash that JLo attended. And, even more oddly, both halves of the former supercouple decided to enjoy some birthday celebrations on separate yachts in St. Tropez, France.

I don't know how you're looking at all of this, but I'm starting to think Alex Rodriguez might be in need of a Jennifer Lopez-centric intervention of some sort.

Even easy break ups are never truly easy, and the split of JLo and A-Rod came amidst allegations that he cheated with reality star Madison Lecroy of Southern Charm fame. Could all of this be A-Rod's way of trying to get back together with Lopez? He certainly picked a very JLo-appreciative post to like. Is that his way of trying to let his ex know that her sister's comments about her echo his own thoughts, even though JLo seems to have moved on quite happily and not be interested in thinking about him any more?

My guess on that is just as good as yours, and as JLo continues to gleefully enjoy her reunion with Ben Affleck, we'll see if A-Rod moves on, or continues finding ways to pop back into her glittering orbit.

While the two are not the same age, their birthdays do fall within a week of one another, which means they’ve both been caught out and about taking pics on a yacht at the same time. According to Page Six, the yacht that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are currently enjoying is in St. Tropez -- the same area where the yacht Alex Rodriguez is currently enjoying also is. They literally both chose to take the same trip for their respective birthdays, and now I have so many questions.

For one, was this something that was planned by the two before their split and they both decided, “Forget it, this is the vacation I want to take?” Is this perhaps just a wild coincidence, the type of wild coincidence that fans love to latch onto? Is there more going on than meets the eye? Or is St. Tropez just the obvious, no-brainer spot to take a yachting vacation and I just don't know because I don't have a yacht? There really is so much to unpack here, especially since this isn't the first time the couple kind-of sort-of crossed paths since their official split in April.

Since their break-up, A-Rod has gotten fit and started going out and about on the town; in fact, Page Six reported the star being seen with several bikini-clad women while on his trip. Jennifer Lopez, for her part, has moved on with Ben Affleck and brought their new relationship to the forefront in splashy style. You would think all involved would have drifted apart, but life has kept bringing them in close proximity. There was that time Rodriguez purchased real estate in the Hamptons down the street from where Lopez already owns property. Still, I’m sure the French town is big enough for them to avoid one another, but it’s certainly a choice that deserves a raised eyebrow.

I can see this predicament of houses playing like a scene in a movie. But it's more likely that Batman himself would show up in that scenario.

It suggests that if LeCroy’s alleged contact with A-Rod hadn’t prompted his breakup with JLo, then she wouldn’t be with Affleck now. But the Southern Charm star went on to clarify that she doesn’t truly believe that, saying:

After the Southern Charm reunion that initiated the cheating allegations, Madison LeCroy would confirm that she facetimed with A-Rod but that nothing else happened between them. Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez would eventually make the break permanent, saying in their joint statement they were "better as friends." Cut to a few weeks later, and JLo was seen again with Ben Affleck, manifesting all our early 2000s hopes and dreams. Madison LeCroy is moving on, too. She’s dating a new guy and has no qualms about potentially addressing the A-Rod rumors further in the next season of Southern Charm. She said:

I know the Angelina Jolie scenario is kind of an outlier here, but Ben Affleck’s other major ex Jennifer Garner, with whom he shares three children, has also been on the celebs-getting-back-with-exes train. Garner quietly split up with her partner John Miller just prior to or around the start of the pandemic. Cut to early May of 2021 and it seems as if the exes are back on again.

In some of these aforementioned cases, getting back together as a couple is very different than being spotted out in the wild with an ex. It’s worth pointing out, too, that a couple of weeks ago Jennifer Lopez hung out with other ex Marc Anthony over coffee, though in that case the two share kids together, so I’d assume that’s less of an odd occurrence. The point is, people do sometimes see exes for a variety of reasons and I'd assume the more complications -- like children and pets -- in previous relationships, the more often seeing your ex is a necessity. But the glut of times this has happened recently, albeit for different reasons, is just uncanny. Maybe we should be declaring it "hot ex summer."

It appears to be an As the World Turns-themed week in the arena of celebrity relationships, as former flames are apparently reuniting all over the place. The holy grail of reunions has been the reports of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez getting serious again, after breaking off their engagement in 2004. According to a source close to Lopez, he was attempting everything to get the entertainer back on a romantic level, but it hadn’t been working. The source said:

As previously mentioned, the only real connection between the exes would be through business ventures. As the rumors continue to fuel headlines, anybody and everybody in and around Ben and Jen's social circles is being asked about the allegedly rekindled relationship. Rodriguez recently showed off his transformation from having a self-described "Dad-bod" in late 2020 to his new, trimmer figure, and it sounds like he may have shelled out a ton of moolah for the fitness plan which helped him lose the weight.

According to Page Six, Alex Rodriguez put some of his considerable wealth where a bag of potato chips used to be, and spent $4,000 on the fitness program at Miami’s 54D in the Coral Gables neighborhood to transform his body. A lot of people have been trying to figure out how to lose the weight they put on during the long, stressful months of quarantine, and we can likely bet that few of them will be putting up any where near this much for an exercise program which lasts nine weeks, as the one Rodriguez participated in did.

Of course, we all know that no one has to spend this kind of money on a fitness program, but it would seem that Rodriguez thought he needed the boost which comes from very personalized, specialized attention, and good for him. Apparently, the program at 54D uses weightlifting, cardio and HIIT training to get folks back to their more desired fitness levels, and it also has workout recovery therapies so that all that lifting / running / jumping / what-have-you won't completely wear out someone not quite used to it yet. These could include cryotherapy, and the use of Normatec boots, which cover the leg and offer "restorative massage" to help muscles recover faster.

In case you're wondering, the program Alex Rodriguez took part in does also feature a nutritional component to help people learn how to eat better, and asks that participants refrain from drinking alcohol while enrolled. There are a lot of people who have a firm belief in both the power of having someone to be accountable to when attempting to become healthier, and in putting real money into those efforts (hiring a trainer, getting a gym membership, buying equipment...) to make one take the work involved in losing weight seriously. And, it all seems to have worked for Rodriguez, with the owner of 54D, Rodrigo Garduño, noting:

Alex Rodriguez is not letting a break up bring him down. The former baseball player and current businessman debuted a brand new look shortly after his split from Jennifer Lopez was officially confirmed, but it looks like he’s been working on himself for a while. In a post, A-Rod confirmed he’s been working to lose some weight and get fit since at least December of last year.

A-Rod has been working on himself for a few months, according to a new post he shared with his followers over at Instagram. He referred to his look in 2020 as a “dad bod” and mentioned that he spent some time really working to get away from some of his food weaknesses over the past few months. (I’d be willing to bet those of us who have been snacking at home over the past year can really feel that.)

While it looks like the MLB star has been working on himself for at least a little while, things had been going south in his relationship for at least a little while too. It’s actually hard to believe it’s only been a couple of weeks since A-Rod and JLo officially went their separate ways, as the couple’s alleged issues had been well documented before then.

In fact, the (now-former) couple had spent some time together prior in the Dominican Republic, where the singer and actress was shooting Shotgun Wedding. Looking back, that may have been a last ditch attempt to get things back on track. Prior to that there had been rumors swirling they’d actually split up in March and there was some side drama after Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy claimed she and A-Rod had a connection while he was still dating Jennifer Lopez. With so many rumors swirling, the couple ultimately finalized things and made a statement calling it quits.

It's worth noting that Alex Rodriguez working on himself and his “dad bod” may in fact not have been the motivation behind getting fit. However, here’s hoping now that he’s found a healthier version of himself, he can move on in other ways as well. He’s already started with some posts nodding at the love for his family (he shares two girls with ex Cynthia Scurtis) and more.

He’s not the only person to take time during the pandemic to work on himself either. It’s easy to let yourself go a little when all of the interviews and stuff you normally do are conducted over Zoom and other video platforms and you are constantly being shown from the waist up. Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed she’d had a similar experience while stuck at home, gaining weight in 2020 and more recently working to lose it. And fitness journeys from the likes of Rebel Wilson, Tiffany Haddish and Luke Evans -- who seriously got ripped -- have been well-documented. The past few weeks have been a kind of trial by fire for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship. Despite the drama, JLo still seems to have ex-husband Marc Anthony in her corner.

The “I’m Real” singer and Marc Anthony have a famously tight knit relationship for a divorced couple. Even as recently as last month, Anthony praised Jennifer Lopez’s creative spirit and relentless work ethic. Their rock-solid foundation apparently holds true amidst JLo and A-Rod’s breakup. Still, the official breakup may be difficult for JLo and Marc Anthony’s kids to handle. Even though their nuptials were postponed because of the pandemic, the twins were very publicly excited for what was supposed to be JLo and A-Rod’s wedding, with plans to even sing for them on the important day. News about JLo and A-Rod’s supposed first breakup a few weeks ago had the singer showing her daughter sobbing on her father’s shoulder on her Instagram Stories. The hoopla appeared to bring the two back together for a time, with A-Rod telling paparazzi that he was not single and made a trip down to JLo’s film set in the Dominican Republic.

It wasn’t to be, however. Allegedly the fear that A-Rod might cheat or had a “wandering eye” was too much for JLo, who reportedly initiated the final split. The third party supposedly involved, Madison LeCroy of Southern Charm fame, only said that she “wishes them the best.”

No matter what, though, Jennifer Lopez is a consummate performer and knows how to put on a brave face for the public. She has done as much with her smiling Instagram posts with the cast and crew of her latest movie, Shotgun Wedding, which has also seen a bit of drama from the Armie Hammer allegations and fallout. Apparently, it seems the speculation surrounding Alex Rodriguez and Madison LeCroy’s supposed connection this past year was too much for Jennifer Lopez to let slide, even if it was just friendliness or a flirtation. Sources told People that JLo was the one to end the relationship with A-Rod and, effectively, their engagement, claiming “too many” unresolved issues. But purportedly, direct cheating wasn’t exactly the issue at hand, with one of the sources asserting,

A-Rod allegedly developed somewhat of a “wandering eye,” while JLo was busy filming A Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic this past year. That eye reportedly landed on Southern Charm star and hairdresser Madison LeCroy, who saw a dramatic rise on the reality show after it showcased her ex-boyfriend Austin Kroll cheating on her. LeCroy admitted to the connection to A-Rod following the reunion special on Bravo, confirming that the two had spoken on the phone and on social media but have been just “acquaintances” ever since.

Madison LeCroy may have only been casually friendly with A-Rod, but it’s clear that reality television drama has a far reach. The Southern Charm shockers (even if untrue) seem to have ultimately fueled that alleged “fear” of cheating between JLo and A-Rod. So much so that the longtime couple – whose children from previous relationships are supposedly very close to one another – have given up on any resolution and will not be getting married after all.

For his part, A-Rod has denied any bad behavior and even flew to the Dominican Republic to see JLo following the pretty dramatic sequence of events that saw them broken up (for the first time) and back together within just a few days. They were caught kissing by paparazzi, but it apparently wasn’t enough to mend the mistrust after the Madison LeCroy allegations. One source said,

Of late, Madison LeCroy has only had to say of the JLo and A-Rod breakup that she “wishes them the best.” Fans will certainly wish to see what else, if anything, comes out about the debacle in the next season of Southern Charm.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s breakup is a heavy saga filled with a lot of twists and turns. After years of being engaged, the couple’s foundations were seemingly shaken up by the rampant speculations that A-Rod cheated on JLo with Southern Charm starlet Madison LeCroy. Even so, in Rodriguez and Jennifer’s Lopez’s statement, they make no mention of LeCroy at all and merely allude that they are “better as friends” and will continue to “support each other.” For the most part, they all seem to want to keep it courteous.

At the same time though, the Southern Charm star and single mom is getting a lot more flack across the board for what allegedly took place with Alex Rodriguez. LeCroy was reportedly single and unattached during these occurrences, while A-Rod was obligated and very much engaged to JLo.

Ahead of A-Rod and JLo’s announcement of their split, however, another Southern Charm star threw her hat in the arena. Cameran Eubanks was a major staple on all seasons of the Bravo show, even being figuratively referred to as the mom of a bunch of Peter Pans, before her sudden exit last year. She told US Weekly:

Cameran Eubank’s comments allude to the exes involved: Jennifer Lopez and Southern Charm bro Austen Kroll. Southern Charm captured the pretty tumultuous relationship between Kroll and Madison LeCroy over the last few seasons. But again, LeCroy seems to be getting the majority of criticisms when Kroll actually di cheat on her (proven via video footage). Allegedly talking to an engaged man, even when you’re single, is bad form – but not a crime.

But I, much like Cameran Eubanks, feel bad mostly for JLo. She is a triple threat, practically a cultural institution, and we can only wish her the best moving forward.

It’s been just a day since Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez firmly and officially called it quits after weeks of rumors indicating they were, in fact, heading to splitsville. The formerly engaged couple had seemingly been trying to work things out while JLo was shooting her new movie Shotgun Wedding, but at the end of the day, there was nothing to be done and A-Rod may have even cryptically hinted at the split just before it happened.

Taking to his Instagram Story, the former baseball player and business entrepreneur was listening to Coldplay’s “Fix You” and sharing a look at a table filled with tissues and JLO and A-Rod memorabilia. In the righthand corner there was actually a little heart.

Of all the songs in all the world, “Fix You” isn’t exactly the one I’d choose in the happiest of moments. Sample lyrics in that Chris Martin track are: “And the tears come streaming down your face/When you lose something, you can't replace/When you love someone, but it goes to waste/Could it be worse?” If that wasn’t a giant hint that the news was coming I don’t know what would be.

The video post went up on April 14, which was several hours before the world woke up to the official break-up announcement on April 15 (via Elite Daily). The couple had been engaged for quite some time, though in a pandemic year, extremely long engagements have not become uncommon. The wedding had been postponed twice due to the pandemic and in February, JLO had talked about taking a step back to focus some more on her kids. By March that “step back” had turned into break-up rumors, though those were refuted shortly thereafter.

Both Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are major celebrities with busy lives, and it seems as if they were working on their partnership as she was filming Shotgun Wedding in the Dominican Republic. He reportedly visited there, and seemed to be having a pleasant time relaxing while she got down to work. Ultimately, the work on their relationship didn’t stick and the actress was recently caught without her engagement ring-- though jury is still out regarding whether or not that actually meant anything.

Now, it’s all over and after hopefully working his way through a few more Coldplay songs, presumably, A-Rod will pick himself up and move on. In fact, he's already written on social media about the things he's "grateful" for and he looked pretty relaxed hours after the break-up.

Jennifer Lopez, of course, is currently in the Dominican Republic in order to film her upcoming movie Shotgun Wedding -- aka that infamous movie she was supposed to film with Armie Hammer before he abruptly left the project following cannibal text allegations. The two were seen together more than a week ago working on their relationship in the Dominican Republic and their adventure in the exotic locale continued into this weekend, Alex Rodriguez.

JLo may be working, but Alex Rodriguez is taking that r&r very seriously. Over the weekend, he posted a gorgeous look at a private pool overlooking the beach. Jennifer Lopez wasn’t featured in the post, but again, she’s in the Dominican Republic for work while A-Rod’s just hanging out. I feel like one of them definitely got the better end of this deal.

A-Rod’s definitely still in the Dominican Republic where JLo is filming, because he helpfully even included the Dominican Republic flag in his post heading into the weekend. The two haven't really been sharing vacation photos together on this trip, but they did share a sponsored post together that seems to be from their trip, given Jennifer Lopez also had a separate “weekend” post she shared while wearing the same shirt.

While the two may not be posting a lot together during on this work/relationship trip, they have been spotted out and about by papparazzi over the last week, so they do seem to be reconnecting while Lopez is in the D.R. for her job. Meanwhile, when it comes to Shotgun Wedding itself, there's been plenty of tangential drama as well. Jennifer Lopez’s Lionsgate movie was expected to film way back in 2019 and Ryan Reynolds was initially attached to star. Next, the film was delayed and Armie Hammer came on board, then following the aforementioned series of events, eventually Josh Duhamel was cast in the lead role. Part of the film is being shot in the Dominican Republic and part is reportedly being shot in Boston, per production notes.

Prior to all of these break-up rumors, Jennifer Lopez and A-Rod were engaged and had postponed their wedding. In the photos, per TMZ, Alex Rodriguez is seen kissing Jennifer Lopez, who is wearing only a bathrobe, out on a terrace. The pair seem cool, relaxed and, well, normal, as they chat and share a computer screen together. In fact, the visual is a complete reversal from this past week where the public has seen their children crying over the alleged breakup and A-Rod attempting to avoid paparazzi attempting to get answers about his relationship status.

Although, many seem to be criticizing Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez for the apparent openness of the shots – in other words, that it might be staged for good publicity. It's hard to deny that doing so would theoretically help to change the narrative regarding their relationship. But given the strain their family has experienced because of these rumors, staged PDA seems improbable for the couple.

Rumors have been circulating as far back as January during Bravo’s Southern Charm reunion special, in which one of its stars, Madison Lecroy, was accused of hooking up with a famous MLB player. Alex Rodriguez was labeled the MLB player in question, but Lecroy later on claimed she only spoke on the phone with Rodriguez, but that was enough to get the rumor mill going. Many assumed the news of JLo and A-Rod’s split last week might have had something to do with Lecroy – despite sources claiming it was due to the strain of distance and the ongoing effects of COVID-19.

The lady in question, Madison Lecroy of Southern Charm fame, has made several public inferences about the former athlete, along with some of her co-stars. The shocking turn of events has led to a statement coming out speaking to the rumor's validity.

Speculation from the cast of Southern Charm indicates that Lecroy may have known and met up with Rodriguez last year, with one even suggesting that the two allegedly slept together. In the time since the rumors rolled around, Madison Lecroy has said that she never met up with Rodriguez and told Page Six that he is only an “acquaintance.” A source close to Rodriguez also told E! News,

The conflicting statements from all parties have left fans and viewers confused about what actually happened. This hasn't stopped the relentless reality show rumor machine, however. In a timeless sequence of events, Madison Lecroy’s co-star Danni Baird also joined in the chatter about the alleged tryst, on a podcast no less. On the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast, Baird claimed:
