As for who would replace the hosts, insiders allege that the alphabet network may seek to fill the gaps with some of its top-tier talent. Said data arrives amid reports that there’s still turbulence behind the scenes at ABC. Sources for Page Six allege that executives at the entertainment conglomerate are worried about the state of the network. At the same time, the news outlet has also been hearing reports that the brand may part ways with current ABC News head honcho Kim Godwin. Her contract reportedly expires this spring and, according to insiders, the company is still mulling whether it wants to extend her tenure. 

Kim Godwin was steering the ship when T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were pulled from the GMA3 broadcast after their relationship became public knowledge. That’s not the case for her, though she explained that she does feel a personal burden in another regard:

The pair definitely had careers that many broadcasters can only dream of having. As the hosts of GMA3: What You Need To Know, they were two of ABC’s most notable talents. And, even before they respectively made their way to the alphabet network, their former places of employment included the likes of NBC and CNN. Considering they were both in the journalism field for so long, one – at the very least – could probably understand how this current phase of their lives would be an adjustment for them.

As previously alluded to, there were various reports surrounding their next professional steps, before they were tapped for the podcast. Sources alleged that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes had been passed on by two big networks – CNN and CBS. It was also reported that a major TV show had turned down as well, and it was apparently ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. One of the more consistent reports, however, was the notion that the two were planning to advance their careers together. Now, Robach’s newly shared sentiments appear to finally back up that assertion. 

Whether or not they actually do end up returning to the world of TV broadcasting is anyone’s guess at this point. Throughout 2023, insiders claimed that entertainment entities didn’t want to take a chance on them due to the baggage they could potentially bring. All hope may not be lost for the two, though. Each year in January, many people engage in “Dry January,” in which they abstain from alcohol, often as a way to reset the body and mind after indulging over the holiday season. Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes opened up about their decision to give up the booze this month and got real on their podcast about how much they drank in general — particularly over the past year, after their secret relationship was exposed and they lost their jobs as co-anchors of GMA3: What You Need to Know. In fact, they added up their receipts and revealed that they spent $2,869 on alcohol in December alone.

On the Amy & T.J. episode “A Year on the Rocks,” the former ABC News employees took an honest and sobering look at their alcohol consumption, admitting that their drinking had increased after parting ways with GMA3 and amid the affair accusations. The most recent month was a big one, too, with family and friends visiting for the holidays, and as Amy Robach cringed at the “absurd” monetary value of their purchases, T.J. Holmes stated: 

The couple reached that total by adding up their receipts from when they went out and their Drizly orders, and T.J. Holmes admitted that’s a good chunk of change he’s happy to not spend this January.

In addition to looking at how their booze purchases affected their bank account, they also got real about how much they drank. Amy Robach at first estimated her intake to be about 15 to 20 drinks per week; however, after remembering that one drink counts as just 5 ounces of wine or one shot of liquor, she had to amend her estimate, saying, “I’m over 30 drinks a week.” She admitted that the media frenzy that surrounded her and T.J. Holmes played into that, saying:

T.J. Holmes fessed up to an even larger number than his partner, telling the podcast audience: 

He then broke down exactly how he reached that number, which added up quickly when he pointed out that a typical glass of wine or margarita might count as two drinks. 

Power to them for being so honest with themselves and their listeners, because it was clear that they weren't exactly proud of their admissions. T.J. Holmes pointed out that they're definitely not alone, and “Dry January” gave them a chance to really take a look at the past year and be honest with themselves. Both admitted that just in the first couple of weeks of 2024, they feel great and have even lost a few pounds.

When they said no topic was off-limits, they meant it too, and during a recent episode Robach responded to speculation that Robin Roberts and more of her former ABC News colleagues “abandoned” her amid the drama.

It’s been just over a year since Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were taken off the air amid affair allegations that had become a “distraction” to the network, and it was reported at the time that Robin Roberts, Robach’s longtime friend and the face of Good Morning America, was “infuriated” by the scandal. Robach was asked specifically about Roberts’ and others’ responses during the fracas, to which the Amy & T.J. host replied: 

Things apparently seemed fine for the first couple of days after their relationship was outed last November. However, it seems things got more complicated after she and T.J. Holmes were suspended and an investigation was started into whether or not they had violated company policy. Amy Robach seemed hesitant to speak specifically about Robin Roberts or any other former co-worker by name, especially after their joke about Sara Haines led some to think she’d been fired from The View. Robach continued: 

Amy Robach avoided speaking to the current state of her and Robin Roberts’ friendship, but it sounds like she’s still in touch with at least some of her friends from ABC News. Robach and Roberts were friends for over a decade at the network and became particularly close after Robach was diagnosed with breast cancer after undergoing an on-air mammogram in 2013 in a segment that Roberts convinced her to do.

However, when Robin Roberts married her longtime partner Amber Laign in September, Amy Robach was not in attendance, and it was rumored that Roberts had banned her and T.J. Holmes from the festivities.

Holmes and Robach scored a new gig, which sees them serving as the co-hosts of a new podcast. They’re using their platform to address rumors about their relationship and get candid about the struggles they faced amid their relationship drama. Now, months after marriage rumors swirled around them, they broke their silence on whether they plan to tie the knot. 

One could argue that marriage is one of the biggest subjects that’s weighing on the public’s mind, when it comes to T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. It was reported back in August that Robach and Holmes were planning to get engaged. Of course, neither spoke up to verify the report at the time. On this week’s episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast, the pair answered an array of questions from listeners about their professional and personal lives. Matrimony inevitably cropped up during the episode. Robach was the first to weigh in and, while a ceremony doesn’t seem to be set in stone, it sounds like someone popping the question isn’t… out of the question: 

Amy Robach was first married to Tim McIntosh, with whom she shares two daughters, from 1996 to 2008. She then walked down the aisle with actor Andrew Shue, as they married in 2010 and finalized their divorce earlier in 2023. Meanwhile, T.J. Holmes and Amy Ferson wed in 2004 and divorced in 2007. The CNN alum then married Marilee Fiebig in 2010, and the couple, who have one daughter together, also settled their divorce in 2023. So as Robach mentioned, she and her partner do have a lot of marriage miles on them. 

Later in the conversation though, T.J. Holmes, who joked about a “tiny box” being under their Christmas tree this year, admitted that he would like to get married. And his reason for wanting to exchange vows has to do with the age difference between him and his significant other: 

Something that can be said with much certainty is that following the drama involving their former marriages, both are now in the position to get married. As mentioned, both of their latest divorces are now final. The two, who made their red carpet debut as a couple just a few weeks ago, seem to be in a good place as is, however. Ultimately, we’ll just have to wait and see whether Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes decide to take that big step. Also, I’m curious to hear what’s in that “tiny box” the two have sitting under the tree.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes returned to the public eye one year after ABC removed them from GMA3’s broadcast amid the revelation that the co-hosts had become romantically involved. On last week's premiere episode of their new podcast, Amy & T.J., they discussed their mental health struggles and thanked the people who helped them survive the media storm, including The View co-host Sara Haines. However, a joke about ABC possibly firing Haines for supporting Robach got a lot of attention, and the podcast hosts cleared the air on their most recent episode.

The former ABC News employees previously opened up about being so thankful for the people who had been persistent about checking in on them over the past year, and on the December 11 episode of Amy & T.J., “The Story Continues,” they said they were overwhelmed with gratitude as even more people had reached out. But while mentioning some of their supporters by name, Amy Robach brought up Sara Haines and how previous comments had gotten a little out of control. Robach clarified: 

What made those comments so poignant is that both GMA3 and The View are owned by ABC News, with Sara Haines serving as a correspondent for GMA many times over the past decade. After Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were suspended, it was reported that the co-anchors lost a lot of support from their colleagues amid the investigation into whether or not they’d violated company policy. It’s understandable that people could be concerned for an employee who chose to support a friend during the seemingly scandalous situation.

T.J. Holmes, however, was amused by the fracas their joke had caused, and stirred the pot a little as he said, “We just found out they’re not renewing…” He trailed off before suggesting something had actually happened with Sara Haines’ contract, and made it clear that, again, his comment was all in jest.

With Amy Robach and Sara Haines apparently scheduled for a lunch date this week, it doesn’t sound like The View co-host took issue with the podcast comments. Haines never tried to hide her connection to Robach, saying in a Q&A on social media that she “abso-friggin-lutely” was still pals with the former ABC News anchor. 

Sara Haines also showed grace for her friend’s situation when the topic of cheating came up on The View back in January 2023. Without mentioning names, Joy Behar seemed to allude to the GMA3 drama when she questioned if there was ever justification for a workplace fling between people in unsatisfying marriages. Haines jumped in, differentiating between a fling and falling in love, theorizing that staying in a marriage when you’re in love with someone else might not be the best example to set for children.

As noted by the U.S. Sun, she enthusiastically responded with “abso-friggin-lutely,” as mentioned above and added a heart emoji as well as a smiling face with hearts emoji. With that, it would seem that Haines had no problem confirming that she’s still tight with her gal pal. So on that note, what does the former GMA3: What You Need to Know host think about that?

This marked the premiere of Amy & T.J., which is Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ new podcasting gig. For the first episode, the pair opted to dive deep into the drama that surrounded them a year ago. Both got candid about how they suffered mental health struggles amid the GMA and relationship drama. Though they also spoke about the positivity they drew upon amid that tumultuous time, including some of the support they received. When Holmes asked his partner to name one of the people in her corner, she listed the View star: 

Needless to say, she appears to relish the support from her fellow broadcaster, especially given concerns of potential blowback. On that front, T.J. Holmes joked about how the talk show host’s honest support could impact her career:

We can’t speak to whether or not the Disney-owned network would actually take that course of action due to Sara Haines’ support. However, what can be said is that T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach seem a lot happier these days. They became Instagram official just a few months ago and no longer mind posting about each other on social media. Robach and Holmes were also all smiles as they made their red carpet debut as a couple at Jingle Ball 2023. Both also seem more than enthusiastic about starting this new path as podcasters. 

As they continue to progress professionally, it remains to be seen whether Sara Haines will open up anymore about her friendship. It may be safe to assume, at the very least, that she won’t bring it up on air, as not to create any conflict of interest with her employers. Regardless, it doesn’t look like Haines has any plans to cut ties with her buddy.

A year after Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ relationship grabbed the public’s attention, the former GMA3 hosts are now easing their way back into the limelight. When it comes to the drama that’s swirled around them since late 2022, most eyes have been on them, while their respective former spouses arguably haven’t been mentioned as much. However, that might change due to this latest development. Robach’s former husband, Andrew Shue, and Holmes’ ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig are allegedly dating now. Additionally, an insider also dropped claims about what exactly brought them together. 

Apparently, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue have been going together for a little while. A source told Page Six that the two have been an item for six months now. Of course, as of this writing, neither of them have publicly confirmed nor denied that they’re involved. The news outlet’s source also went on to claim that what brought the two together was their shared experience of going through divorces in the aftermath of the situation involving their former significant others. The unnamed person added: 

Andrew Shue – who’s likely best known to TV viewers for his role as Billy Campbell on Melrose Place – was married to the former ABC News staffer for 13 years before they split. It was reported that he and Robach finalized their divorce sometime around this past April. Marilee Fiebig and T.J. Holmes settled their own divorce around October and were married for 12 years before going their separate ways. Per insiders, all parties involved had decided to move forward on their respective paths, and another of Page Six’s sources reiterated that when discussing Fiebig and Shue’s purported personal statuses: 

Per reports that dropped shortly after T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s relationship was revealed, they and their spouses were all close while they were married. Sources say Robach and Holmes used to double date with their exes. On top of that, Robach’s kids allegedly used to babysit Holmes’. Amid their splits, all four adults have been spending time with their children.

Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, ahead of being romantically linked, had reportedly been navigating their new realities. Interestingly enough though, they’ve had business dealings with each other. Around this past June, they apparently teamed up for a new enterprise in the form of Axis Hats New York. Fiebig oversees the brand, while Shue serves as one of the board of directors. That alone was an intriguing turn of events, and a business expert referred to it as a “revenge” tactic.

As a whole this entire situation is just going to have to be taken with a massive grain of salt. If Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig are indeed together though, then it’s admittedly a development that those who’ve been following this saga likely didn’t see coming.

Robach recalled that Holmes got into a particularly “dark space.” On that note, he recalled sending text messages to his partner in the “past tense” and not realizing how he was sounding. Robach said she truly began to “panic” after Holmes sent a message saying, “'m sorry, you were the love of my life. I'm so sorry this has happened.”

That apparently prompted the veteran newswoman and her father to go to her boyfriend’s place, where they were joined by the doorman, to conduct a “welfare check.” She became emotional when recalling how the situation played out as well as what she was feeling at the time: 

T.J. Holmes provided clarity as to why he was in the state that he was in at the time. As the CNN vet explained, up to that point, he’d been indulging in alcohol as well as weed-laced foods:

Amy Robach went on to discuss her own personal hurdles, bringing up her 2013 breast cancer diagnosis (of which she just marked the 10th anniversary) while doing so. She mentioned that she always believed that particular year was the “worst” of her life. Yet Robach now believes that even that health scare doesn’t compare to what she faced amid the GMA drama: 

Amy Robach concluded that thought by telling T.J. Holmes that she was “lucky” that they had each other. While both hit those rough patches months ago, they now seem to be in better spaces both personally and professionally. Robach and Holmes went Instagram official months ago and were recently all smiles when making their red carpet debut as a couple at Jingle Ball 2023. And when it comes to work, they’ve expressed enthusiasm over their new podcast. One gets the impression that moving forward they’re going to choose to dwell on the positive and stray from the negative.

About a year ago, there was a considerable amount of speculation and drama swirling around the reported workplace romance between T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. That chatter seems to have relatively calmed down, though. Amid that, insiders have alleged that the two are relatively content in their relationship at this point. And as mentioned in the official description of the series, “nothing is off limits.” The new jobs came following months of rumors regarding the pair’s work statuses. Insiders claimed they’d been passed on by major networks and that even major show Dancing with the Stars had turned them down. They may not be returning to the anchor desk, but this podcast is indeed a high-profile opportunity for them. 

As for how they’re feeling ahead of the show’s launch, a source says they're ready to get started. The lovers are allegedly keen on revealing “their side of the story,” in regard to the situation that surrounded them last year. That same insider added that by being able to “finally clear the air,” they aim to “look towards new beginnings.”

I’d say that at the very least, these recent red carpet photos represent the true start of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ public life as a couple. Chances are they’ll frequent other major events as time goes on. It also wouldn’t be surprising if (or when) that happens that they’re spotted laughing and holding each other again as they are here.

It’s been a pretty tumultuous year for Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, since it was revealed late last November that the GMA3 co-hosts’ professional relationship had become romantic. Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are returning to the workforce as part of the iHeartMedia Network with the podcast Amy & T.J. Their new joint venture is set to premiere on December 5, and according to an insider, the couple is ready to address the events of the past year in order to continue moving forward. The source told ET: 

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will executive produce the podcast, as well as co-host, and iHeartMedia announced they will also have a hand in the creation of other programs under the company’s umbrella. Myriad topics will be discussed on Amy & T.J., and “nothing is off limits,” they said in the release announcing the project. Robach confirmed in a social media post this week that yes, there will be tea: 

Ahead of the official announcement, it seemed like the couple were getting close to announcing their comeback, as T.J. Holmes teased followers with a post about his “new commute,” not long after rumors started to spread about Amy Robach negotiating with NewsNation for her own weekly show. The two were reportedly interested in a joint gig, however, and that turned out to be just what they got.

Given the public interest in their story — and the fans they developed over their years on Good Morning America’s third hour — there are probably plenty of people looking forward to seeing them (or hearing them, rather) work together again and finding out what they have to say about the alleged scandal.

On November 30, 2022, the Daily Mail released several photos of the GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors laughing over drinks at a bar, showing PDA on a weekend getaway and holding hands in the backseat of an Uber. It was learned that they had each separated from their respective spouses after 12 years of marriage earlier that fall. 

The months that followed saw Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes being dismissed from ABC News and continuing to develop their relationship on a number of romantic getaways and even spending the holidays with each other. They both filed for divorces that have since been finalized, and it appears they’ve taken steps to move in together.

Over the last year, there’s been a lot of talk and speculation about T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s relationship, especially after they were pulled from Good Morning America in December because of their relationship scandal. Now, it’s been almost a full 365 days since this drama began, and it appears that Holmes has gotten a new tattoo, and a psychologist weighed in on what it could possibly mean considering everything he and Robach have been through this year. 

Holmes shared an image of his new tattoo which shows the route of the New York City Marathon, the two dates he ran it, and the number of miles in the race on November 14. He and Robach have run the marathon both years, and they post frequently about training for and running the race. Clearly, it’s an important part of both their lives. After that post went up, clinical psychologist and tattoo expert Dr. Joshua Klapow spoke to The Sun about Holmes’ new ink, claiming that it was an “emergence.” Speaking about what he thought the tattoo could symbolize, he said:

Klapow went on to allege that the size of the reporter’s tattoo mixed with the events that have transpired over the year signify “public recognition of where he is at.” Noting that Holmes’ other tattoos are much smaller, the psychologist said:

Continuing to speak about the possible significance of the tattoo, Klapow recapped the year Robach and Holmes have had since rumors about them cheating on their now ex-partners and being together began, and they signed their exit agreement with ABC. Now, the couple is Instagram official, and they are starting new gigs as hosts of their podcast Amy and T.J. To the expert, this tattoo symbolizes that the reporter is “making a statement:”

Several ABC employees took part in the New York City Marathon on November 5, including ABC News President Kim Godwin, who made the call last December to pull Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes from the GMA3 broadcast as they figured out how to proceed. The anchors would never return, after an internal investigation led the network to sever ties with the longtime employees in January. One insider seemed amused at the possibility that Godwin would come face-to-face with the former co-hosts Sunday, telling Page Six: 

When Kim Godwin initially benched the co-anchors, she made it clear in a memo to employees that it was because the attention on them had become a distraction, clarifying that T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's relationship was “not a violation of company policy.” However, as more information was uncovered about the situation — including other affairs T.J. Holmes reportedly engaged in — a nearly two-month-long investigation ensued, with Godwin allegedly being blamed for prolonging the media circus.

Hers wasn’t the only familiar face Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were in danger of running into, though. Several ABC employees participated in the NYC marathon as a relay team, including David Muir — who wanted “no part” of his 20/20 co-host’s drama — and Robin Roberts — who was reportedly “infuriated” by the affair. Another source, however, brushed off any rumors that the ABC crew was nervous about running into the ex-employees, saying their focus was on raising money for Team for Kids. The insider said:

It’s been nearly a year since the general public learned about the reported workplace romance between journalists Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. The resulting drama ultimately led to their exits from Good Morning America. Since then, the two have traveled together, enjoying lavish vacations but, simultaneously, sources have been reporting on their job search. If those reports were to have been believed, their prospects were beginning to dry up. However, Holmes and Robach have now officially landed new gigs, though they won’t be returning to the anchor desk. 

The two news personalities are set to serve as co-hosts of their own podcast under the iHeartMedia Network. The communications company made the announcement this week, confirming that the show will simply be titled Amy & T.J. In addition to serving as hosts, the pair will also executive-produce the podcast and have a hand in the creation of other programs for the company. Based on the description of the upcoming series, the couple will discuss a myriad of topics, from current events to the latest in pop culture. And what’s most interesting is that “nothing is off limits,” it seems. 

This announcement arrives at a time that sees T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach becoming more open about their relationship. As of late, the two have been alluding to or flat-out mentioning each other in their respective social media posts. Now, it would seem that they’re no longer going to be subtle, based on a post they jointly shared to Instagram. The update included a photo (which was shared with CinemaBlend) along with a message and the hashtag #silentnomore. See how they confirmed their new project down below:

Well, this is an interesting turn of events for the stars, especially given that many were under the impression they would land on a traditional news program. Then again, podcasts are all the rage right now, and the medium would serve as a perfect platform for them to share their views on the news of the day. Also, considering that no subject is off the table, one has to wonder just how often they might discuss their relationship and the drama that surrounded it.

The duo signed their exit agreements with ABC News in January 2023 and had reportedly been looking for work since. In the months that followed, it was reported that they’d been passed on by major networks like CNN and CBS Media Ventures. Apparently, there was a major TV show that also turned them down – the alphabet network’s own Dancing with the Stars. The most common assertion within the rumor mill was that the two wanted to work together again, though insiders said that if they couldn’t land a joint gig, they’d simply support each other. But it would seem the stars aligned for them to be partners again.

When it comes to the couple’s professional life, they only appear to be getting closer, especially since they’re becoming further removed from their past relationships. To that point, T.J. Holmes just recently settled his divorce from Marilee Fiebig. Amy Robach, who finished up her split from Andrew Shue in April, is allegedly “happy” Holmes reached an agreement with his former spouse.

This podcast definitely marks the beginning of a new era for these two, and it could prove to be an effective way for them to formally ease their way back into the media sphere. Whether it proves to be successful or not is anyone’s guess at this point but, considering how much attention they’ve received, it’s probably a safe bet that they won’t have a hard time attracting listeners.

It was apparently Robin Roberts — another breast cancer survivor — who convinced an apprehensive Amy Robach to undergo the mammogram as part of Good Morning America’s breast cancer awareness initiative in October 2013. Weeks later she announced the test had come back positive, and she was beginning aggressive treatment. Now, 10 years later she had a message to all of those out there in a similar situation:

They say early detection is key, though, and it seems fortunate that Robach agreed to go through with the test, as uncomfortable as she might have been doing it. When she announced her diagnosis on Good Morning America, she closed the segment by saying:

She had a big smile on her face as she pointed to the Empire State Building that was lit up pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month: 

This 10th anniversary of her diagnosis and start of treatment comes after a huge year filled with change for Amy Robach. She and T.J. Holmes were put on leave from GMA3: What You Need to Know after it was discovered they each had separated from their spouses and were in a romantic relationship. The “distraction,” as ABC News called it when Robach and Holmes were pulled from the broadcast, reportedly caused friction between the couple and many of their colleagues, including Robin Roberts who was allegedly “infuriated.”

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes ultimately parted ways with the network, and they appear to still be going strong nearly a year later. They each have now divorced their former spouses and even looked this summer like they were taking steps to move in together. 

The former GMA3 anchor may not be on TV anymore (at least currently), but it’s great to see that she’s still using her platform to support others fighting cancer, as she celebrates her own milestone. 

We may not know much about what’s going on with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ career moves or if they’re planning to get engaged anytime soon, but Robach has made it pretty clear over the past few months where her focus is — the New York City Marathon. Nearly a year after the former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-hosts’ affair was exposed, Robach shouted out her partner for his culinary contribution to her training, and it sure looks like Holmes has got some skills in the kitchen.

Amy Robach has been counting down to the NYC Marathon, which she and T.J. Holmes will run in on Sunday, November 5, and with the big race just a couple of weeks away, she’s starting to taper down her runs. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t need that good recovery nourishment, and according to her Instagram, Holmes is there to provide:

We do love a man who can cook. Could this be a sign that Amy Robach is ready to open up a little more regarding what she shares about their relationship? Another recent post shows that the couple had reserved seats at a University of Arkansas football game, and while she didn’t tag Holmes, Robach did include the hashtag “#truelove” in her caption.

It’s no secret that running has been an activity the former GMA3 co-anchors have bonded over. It was even suspected that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ alleged affair might have started as far back as March 2022, when they were training together for the NYC Half Marathon. (One business expert described that as a “revenge” tactic.) Whether the quartet ever reignite the friendship they once had remains to be seen. However, what’s crystal clear now is that they’re all contending with vastly different realities within their personal lives compared to a year ago.

It’s been nine months since GMA3: What You Need to Know co-hosts T.J. When Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes first reportedly started looking for work, it was said that they were hoping to capitalize on the chemistry that attracted GMA3’s viewers to them in the first place by continuing to work together on-screen. Just a month ago it was rumored that Robach might be close to landing a deal with NewsNation for a weekly show called Robach & Co., but reports alleged that the subscription channel had no plans to bring Holmes on, after initially showing interest in the pair.

Reports have circulated for months about what Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes might do next. The duo allegedly wanted to stay in the television business, but major networks like CNN and CBS were apparently amongst those that passed on the couple, who also is said to have met with the producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show to “aggressively” pitch their own program.

There have also been conflicting reports about how hard the lovebirds have been trying to get back to business. While one PR expert said that their careers will suffer the longer they wait, as they lose their emotional tie to their fans, other reports have indicated they’re not too worried about this period of unemployment. While the ceremony between the longtime loves was hopefully the “ethereal” and “romantic” event the Good Morning America host wanted, is it possible there was some drama where the guest list was concerned? While some of Roberts’ co-workers reportedly were present to witness the nuptials, a source alleges that the bride banned former GMA3 co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, after their relationship scandal rocked the ABC morning show less than a year ago.

According to The Sun, Robin Roberts was pretty particular about who snagged an invitation to her and Amber Laign’s wedding, with a source saying she included people who she actually wanted there, rather than those she might have felt obligated to include. It seems Amy Robach and her paramour did not make the cut — much to the alleged displeasure of her former colleague. The insider reports: 

The bond between the longtime ABC co-workers apparently became especially strong in 2013, when Robin Roberts convinced Amy Robach to get a mammogram on live TV. That decision turned out to save Robach’s life, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer following the on-air exam.

T.J. Holmes’ latest post is definitely a bit of a turn from his update involving Amy Robach. It’s worth mentioning that Robach’s face wasn’t actually visible in the photo they both shared, and her name wasn’t brought up in the post. Marilee Fiebig’s lawyer filed new court documents last week, US Weekly reports, including a “matrimonial addendum” and Request for Judicial Intervention. What this means, according to an insider, is that: 

According to the trade, an RJI is traditionally filed when a judge’s involvement is required to either resolve a dispute or to sign off on the divorce at the end of the proceedings. The source indicates the latter in this situation, as new documents haven’t been filed by either party since January. T.J. Holmes officially filed to end the marriage in late December.

Marilee Fiebig and T.J. Holmes had been married since 2010 before they reportedly separated last fall, just months before his relationship with Amy Robach became public knowledge. Sources alleged that Fiebig had a top-notch legal team that was ready to “take him for everything he’s worth” and get “every penny she can” after all the embarrassment she supposedly suffered from her ex’s actions. 

Soon after Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ alleged affair was exposed, fans unearthed a 2020 social media post from Holmes and Marilee Fiebig’s 10th anniversary, in which he said he’d given her “plenty of reasons” to leave in the decade they’d been married. Within days of the resurfaced post going viral, it was learned the longtime ABC News employee had been involved in a three-year affair with a Good Morning America producer. Rumors swirled that there had possibly been a third affair, in addition to reports that he’d had sex with a younger co-worker in his office hours before he went on the air. 

We’ll have to wait until a settlement is finalized to see how T.J. Holmes and Marilee Fiebig fare in the end. Holmes hasn’t worked since being let go from GMA3, but even as Amy Robach may be close to landing a gig at NewsNation, neither of them has seemed too concerned about this time of unemployment. The scandalous couple does seem to be moving ahead with their relationship, and are reportedly looking forward to living together and getting engaged.

Insiders claim that as part of the purported deal, she’d headline a show called Robach & Co., which would air once a week. Robach would apparently be paid a pretty penny for her services, as the deal is said to be worth a million dollars. As for her lover, it’s said that the subscription TV channel has no plans to add him to its ranks, after previously expressing interest in both him and his lady. Neither the company nor Robach herself have commented on any deal at the time of this writing. 

While they were at ABC, the couple were pretty much synonymous with each other due to their turn as co-anchors on GMA3: What You Need To Know. It’s hard to deny that they had palpable on-screen chemistry, which is likely why they managed to remain on the air together as long as they did. Amy Robach didn’t always have T.J. Holmes as an on-air cohort, as she made plenty of other stops before teaming up with her beau. However, the notion of her being on camera without him is a bit odd. If this latest piece of news pans out to be true, one may not be able to expect any kind of strife between the two lovers. A source previously reported that if the two weren’t able to land a joint gig, they would continue to support each other in any way possible. 

Amy Robach might’ve finally landed her next job, but DailyMail.com also alleges that there’s already some drama brewing. Per the news outlet, her prospective co-workers at NewsNation aren’t happy with her potentially coming on board. They purportedly resent the notion of the company bringing on another personality who’d previously been involved in  controversies and/or were fired. (That was the case with both Chris Stirewalt and Chris Cuomo.) The site’s unnamed informant also added the following sentiments: 

We can’t say for sure whether the “baggage” is truly a sticking point or if T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s pasts factored into them being passed on by other major networks. Earlier this year, the two were rumored to have been turned down by CNN and CBS Media Ventures. Around the same time, insiders claimed popular show Dancing with the Stars even opted not to hire them. 

Up to this point, many have been under the impression that a non-compete clause in the pair’s exit agreements have been impacting their job hunt. Those who allegedly have knowledge of the situation say they’ve only been able to speak with potential employers but not sign on the dotted line. So if the former Today contributor is indeed preparing a deal with NewsNation, there may be a chance that moratorium may have expired or is close to being moot.

An eponymous new show would be a major feather in Amy Robach’s cap and serve as a solid next step in her career. Only time will tell if there’s validity to this NewsNation claim. We’ll also have to await word on what might lie ahead for T.J. Holmes as he continues to seek employment.

The contracts the couple signed with their former workplace are also impacting their job search. That paperwork supposedly includes a clause that prevents them from signing with new companies within a specified timeframe. It’s not known, however, what that means for the penthouse that Amy Robach purchased in the aftermath of her dismissal from ABC News.

In February it was reported that after moving out of the West Village home she’d shared with now-ex-husband Andrew Shue, Amy Robach had dropped $2.3 million on a penthouse apartment in downtown Manhattan that has 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms and huge windows with a view of the Empire State Building. Perhaps the couple is looking for a literal change in scenery after everything they’ve endured this year.

As the former colleagues continue moving forward with their lives, their exes are doing the same. Actor Andrew Shue, who was married to Amy Robach for 12 years, recently made a big purchase of his own, laying down $3.2 million on a sprawling 92-acre estate in New Jersey, which came complete with a horse farm and two separate residences.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes allegedly want to stick to TV moving forward and even have a desire to serve as co-hosts on a new venture. However, they’ve reportedly been passed on by multiple networks, including CNN and CBS Media Ventures. The couple are even said to have been turned down by a major TV show – hit competition series Dancing with the Stars. Still, as the comments above suggest, they’re said to be taking meetings during this time and are remaining flexible with potential opportunities.

One might say that it’s a good thing that the two journalists are staying in such close proximity to each other. You might also make note of the fact that they share certain interests, which would explain why they feel so comfortable with each other. Jo Hemmings mentioned that factor while making her argument, however. She believes those specific activities could actually lead to both lovers feeling somewhat isolated from anyone or any hobby outside their typical routine:

Time will tell whether any kind of “resentment” will seep into the romance, but what can be said at the moment is that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been joined at the hip over these past few months. Last Christmas, in the immediate aftermath of their romance controversy, they vacationed together in Miami. They were also spotted hanging out around New York, sparking some thoughts from fans across social media. I think we have to take this report with a grain of salt, however, because it’s certainly not the first time sources have predicted doom for their relationship, only to have Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes pop up, appearing strong as ever. Even amidst these reports, the couple has been seen working out together (per US Weekly), jogging around Manhattan. 

We know that running is one hobby that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have bonded over, with the then-GMA3 hosts training together for the 2022 New York City Half Marathon. Even during ABC’s investigation into the couple, they thwarted reports that they were laying low by walking arm-in-arm around New York to grab lunch together.

Another thing to consider is that they JUST got divorced. Obviously none of us know what long-term expectations they’ve discussed for their relationship, but Amy Robach’s divorce from her husband was finalized in April, and it seems T.J. Holmes is still negotiating with Marilee Fiebig. I don't think it would be the strangest thing in the world if they didn't jump right into another marriage, right?

It’s really good to see that the kids don’t seem to have let their parents’ issues keep them from hanging out with each other. They did grow up together, after all, so there’s no reason that their parents’ divorce should mean they’re any less family than they ever were.

Page Six showed one pic in which Andrew and his sons stood with their arms around each other, and in another the girls joined the guys for a selfie.

That closeness was more than evident in one of Roberts’ latest Instagram updates, in which she revealed that she, a number of her co-workers and some other friends traveled to Key West, Florida for a little downtime. Among those from the show who made the journey were Gio Benitez and Sam Champion. Joining them were fellow journalist Tommy DiDario (who apparently arranged the vacay), travel and health personalities Emily Kaufman and Amber Laign and visual artist Rubem Robierb. The veteran news personality also mentioned that they were also able to attend a Taylor Swift concert. Swift is currently in the midst of her Eras Tour, and many celebs have since flocked to the shows to jam out to her beloved tunes. The concert and the Key West trip sound like a sweet combo to me and, given the nature of their jobs, I’d think that the group was glad to have some time to relax and have fun.

They aren’t the only ABC alums to have visited Florida, as T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were there several months ago. After they were taken off GMA in December, the couple journeyed to Miami, which is where they ultimately spent the Christmas holiday. And just a couple of months later, they soaked up the sun in Mexico amid their “funemployment.” It was there that photographers snapped photos of them walking around Puerto Vallarta and engaging in PDA. 

It hasn’t been all fun and games for the couple, though, as they’ve apparently been searching high and low for new gigs. Sources claim that they want to return to TV and are hoping to co-host another program. However, the job hunt allegedly hasn’t been easy, as CBS and CNN are allegedly among the major networks to have passed on them. It’s also been reported that their exit agreements prevent them from signing new contracts during a specified amount of time. 

While Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes may be busy at the moment, I wouldn’t be surprised if they carve out more time for another trip, especially since vacay season is upon us. The reported workplace affair between Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes really shook things up at ABC News, but the network now seems to have eased into a sense of normalcy again. Earlier this month, it was revealed that GMA3 had tapped Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan as its new anchors. All the while though, Holmes and Robach are reportedly still looking for work and sources indicate that they’re ready to return to the airwaves. But that may be easier said than done and, per a PR expert, their careers could suffer the longer they’re out of work. 

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach officially signed their exit agreements this past January and, since then, there have been numerous reports regarding their next steps within the TV business. Despite the fact that they were embroiled in such a significant controversy, they arguably remain among the small-screen’s most recognizable TV personalities. Yet Eric Schiffer – one of the leads of the Reputation Management Consultants firm – argues that the couple will be hurt in one key way if they don’t land new jobs soon:

What the public relations veteran seems to be conveying to The U.S. Sun is that T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will steadily leave the viewing public’s consciousness as they remain unemployed. And as a result, their bankability as stars could decrease and effectively make them less appealing to prospective employers. We can’t say for sure whether this will indeed be the case for the two lovers, but Eric Schiffer’s assumptions are certainly reasonable. 

Viewers (whether they realize it or not) tend to become attached to the hosts they watch on a daily basis. One can simply point to the massive popularity of stars like The Today Show’s Al Roker or Hoda Kotb. And if we’re talking about Good Morning America, the news program has plenty of beloved hosts, including Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan. With such a wide pool of talent, it would theoretically be easy for two people who haven’t hosted for a little while to slide through the cracks.

So what are the former GMA3 hosts planning to do moving forward? Well, according to insiders, they’re planning to stick to TV and allegedly, want to be co-hosts again. Unfortunately, for them, things apparently haven’t worked out in their favor thus far. CNN and CBS are among the major networks that have reportedly passed on hiring Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. It’s even been said that they were even turned down by major TV show Dancing with the Stars. What makes matters even more challenging for their brand viability is that their exit agreements are reportedly impacting their job hunts. The deals apparently have provisions that prohibit them from starting new jobs right away. 

They aren’t struggling, mind you, as T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have sizable net worths. However, all of that cash can’t necessarily enhance their statuses and make them highly sought-after journalists again. Their professional futures are indeed uncertain at the moment, and it’ll be very intriguing to see whether a company ultimately takes a leap of faith and scoops them up.

The alleged workplace relationship between Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes had a massive impact on ABC News, to say the least. The company has been in a period of transition since the two signed their iron-clad exit agreements and moved on. Well, we received the answer last week, as the conglomerate announced DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim would take over and work with series veteran Dr. Jennifer Ashton. Though Pilgrim and Morgan have been on the air for years now, some may not be all that familiar with them. So we’re going to discuss some interesting facts about the pair.

Eva Pilgrim Was Born Outside Of The United States And Moved There With Her Family As A Child

Eva Pilgrim is a first-generation immigrant, as she was born in South Korea and eventually moved to the United States when she was 11, per an interview with GMA’s George Stephanopoulos. Based on Pilgrim’s description, her life in the U.S. was pretty normal and she seems to have fond memories from her younger years. She also explained that as a kid, she had a keen interest in school: 

Life can certainly be unpredictable at times, but it sounds like the 40-year-old, veteran news person is pleased with the way things panned out. She’s had an interesting professional journey thus far, and we’ll talk a little more about that later.

DeMarco Morgan Became A Widely Accomplished College Professor After Past Academic Struggles

It’s fair to say that newly named GMA3 co-anchor DeMarco Murray is known for his status as a journalist, but he’s also been deeply involved with the world of academia for years now. The 44-year-old news reporter has served as a lecturer at a number of noted institutions over the years. But you may be surprised to learn that Morgan had struggles with school early on. He got candid about this while chatting with fellow GMA personality Robin Roberts:

Jackson State, which is a historically Black college, proved that it could spot potential, as the Oklahoma native would graduate in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science. He credits the HBCU with setting him on the right professional path. And in 2002, he earned a Master’s Degree in journalism from Columbia University. All of this is impressive on its own, but it’s his resume as an instructor that’s truly remarkable: 

Education is incredibly important, but educators are just as vital, and I can’t help but love that the Good Morning America star has paid it forward in such a way.

Eva Pilgrim Found Her Path To Journalism While In College And Jokes That ‘Beer Money’ Helped Initiate It

There are plenty of ways that one can find their way into the journalism field. Chances are that if you asked two or three reporters how they got their starts, they could give you totally different answers. If you asked Eva Pilgrim, she’d probably recall how she used to work on websites in college, doing so for “beer money,” as explained to George Stephanopoulos. And as fate would have it, one of those sites was for a news station, and the rest is history. 

Once she got her start, the young reporter worked her way through the local news circuit. When reflecting on her work for a 2019 GMA feature, she recalled not seeing many women of Asian descent on TV until she was a bit older. That representation meant a great deal to her: 

She’s certainly gone the distance since then as, after she wrapped her local news run, she joined ABC News in 2015 and eventually served as a weekend correspondent for GMA. That’s the post she held before being named the co-anchor of GMA3. With so many accomplishments under her belt, in hindsight, it’s funny to think that it was partially set in motion by a desire for beer money.

DeMarco Morgan Had Already Put In Work For GMA3 Before Officially Landing The Gig

DeMarco Morgan worked at quite a few places before joining the alphabet network. Over the years, he’s worked for stations in Miami, New York, Atlanta and more. The accomplished journalist is still relatively new to ABC News, believe it or not, as he joined in December 2022 as a correspondent based in Los Angeles. It’s fair to say that he entered the fold at a very interesting time, as it was at that point that the company began dealing with the blowback from the previously mentioned romance coming to light. 

After T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach were taken off the air in December, the correspondent began serving as a fill-in anchor for GMA’s third hour on the weekdays. He ultimately did so for a few months, and one would think that his work impressed execs enough to keep him on permanently. 

Eva Pilgrim And DeMarco Morgan Both Do Quite A Bit With Their Spare Time

You can’t have work without a little bit of leisure time, and it would seem that GMA3’s new anchors understand the value of off days. Eva Pilgrim is married to Ed Hartigan, a digital marketing manager and director. The two also share a daughter named Ella, who was born in 2021. With her busy schedule, Pilgrim seems to relish the time that she gets to spend with her family. Take a look at the Instagram post below: 

Meanwhile, DeMarco Morgan has a few interests of his own, with a number of them involving public activism. He’s a proud and active member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Morgan also volunteers with organizations like the NAACP, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the American Cancer Society. On top of that, he’s also a baseball fan as evidenced by his occasional LA Dodgers-related Instagram posts. And when he’s not doing any of the above, you can probably find him running or cycling: 

All in all, it looks like Good Morning America has landed on two strong news personalities to succeed T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach. A new day is certainly donning at GMA and, if their past work is any indication, Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan should be more than successful with their new duties.

It’s been six months since the romantic relationship between GMA3 co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes was made public, resulting in the TV personalities filing for divorce from their respective spouses and parting ways with ABC News. The network has still not named permanent replacements for its former pair of charismatic co-anchors, and Robach and Holmes similarly remain in limbo, at least where their jobs are concerned. While recent events may have impacted their job search, their romance has only appeared to have gotten stronger, with the couple poised to take another huge step forward.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are set to move in together, the Daily Mail reports, as the lease on Holmes’ Manhattan apartment is up this summer, and Robach having recently purchased a $2.3 million penthouse. According to a supposed friend of the couple: 

Fans of the longtime ABC News employees were intrigued to see if their relationship would be able to endure the intense media attention and backlash from the alleged affair. The couple at first seemed to be laying low while ABC investigated potential contract violations, but they soon re-emerged in the public spotlight, refusing to hide their love. Months later it seems moving in makes sense for the couple, given T.J. Holmes’ lease situation and the fact that they’re already spending all their time together. The insider continued: 

When he does officially make his move to Amy Robach’s Greenwich Village apartment, T.J. Holmes will be able to take full advantage of the penthouse’s private terrace and huge panoramic windows (with a view of the Empire State Building). 

The big move comes as both of the journalists continue to search for the next step in their careers. Following long tenures with ABC News, their exit agreements prohibit them from accepting an anchor position, and they’ve reportedly already been passed on by multiple major networks. 

They are apparently looking to land a joint gig, pitching themselves as a duo and hoping to capitalize on the chemistry that endeared so many to them on GMA3. However, should they not be able to secure a package deal, sources say they will continue to support each other in separate endeavors.

T.J. Holmes is also reportedly in the final stages of his divorce from Marilee Fiebig, with whom he shares a daughter, after filing to end their 12-year marriage in December. Amy Robach, meanwhile, finalized her divorce from Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue (also after 12 years of marriage) back in March. There was reportedly no big legal battle, with the biggest issue being shared custody of their beloved dog Brody.

Six months into their public relationship, and Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are going strong! Fans are certainly interested to see what else is next for the couple and for GMA3: What You Need to Know, which airs weekdays on ABC. 

Following the very public alleged affair between former Good Morning America hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, there is still the question of who will replace them. While still trying to find a permanent replacement, GMA has been able to land a new on-air personality in the meantime, and one that has experience talking to an audience.

According to Hello! Magazine, the morning talk show has tapped Peloton instructor Jess Sims as the newest ongoing contributor. There isn’t any news on how long it will last, but it sounds like it could be for quite some time. Since she isn’t technically replacing Holmes and Robach, this could be a good way to see how she performas as a regular contributor, and if this could turn into something more. 

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sims reflected on her new job and how grateful she is for the opportunity:

Aside from being a Peloton instructor, Peloton's site revealed Sims was also a teacher, opening schools in Boston and New York until she turned to her true passion: fitness. She has definitely come a long way since being 22 and being a teacher, and it’s clear that she is as grateful as ever. It’s going to be an exciting change for GMA, one that fans will be looking forward to.

Between being an instructor and now being part of the GMA family, Sims is going to have a lot on her plate. Though fans should expect some intersecting between the two since it’s very likely Sims will continue instructing viewers on a morning workout to get their day started. That is a huge plus. It’s hard to tell what to expect from Sims since this is a bit different than what she’s done, but if she can go from being a teacher to being a fitness instructor, she can surely go from fitness instructor to GMA personality.

Rumors started swirling about the former hosts' workplace affair late last year, and they were soon pulled from GMA3 and investigated. Not long after, it was reported that GMA might have found a replacement for Holmes, but there hasn't been anything permanent as of yet. As for Robach and Holmes, major networks have reportedly passed on hiring them.

There’s no telling when the show will finally find permanent replacements for them, as the morning talk show has reportedly been eyeing some new anchors, but at least they’re welcoming a new contributor to the show, and someone who has experience, even if it is through soul cycle. Jess Sims seems like a great fit, and it’s going to be great to start the morning with her.

However, a source shared alleged details with The U.S. Sun regarding a supposed clause found in the paperwork. As the individual explained, the contracts don’t prevent them from talking with potential employers. They apparently just can’t formally accept an offer within a specified period of time:

This insider went on to explain that as part of their settlements, the stars were allegedly paid out the money that would’ve made up the remainder of their contracts. The news outlet also made contact with a purported network source, who would neither confirm nor deny whether the settlements prevent the pair from seeking news-related jobs at the moment. However, said person did shoot down speculation about a non-disclosure agreement being part of the deals. So all in all, it would seem that the GMA alums find themselves in a position in which they can only look at offers.

According to recent reports, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have been searching high and low for their next jobs. They allegedly want to stick to TV and allegedly want to find a news outlet that will allow them to be co-hosts again. However, they’re reportedly prepared should they not land a joint gig. Instead, they’ll seek to “vouch” for each other as they look for separate opportunities. 

There’s still the matter of whether or not there’s actually interest in the couple. A few weeks ago, a source claimed that major networks had already passed on hiring them. The corporations in question were said to be CNN and CBS. And just within the past week, it was alleged that they were also turned down by hit TV show Dancing with the Stars. 

It’s honestly hard to say just what might lie ahead for T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach in the professional arena at this point. The notion of them still landing jobs following the GMA drama isn’t far-fetched. But if this supposed contract stipulation does actually exist, it could be a while before they could actually accept any offer.

The individual didn’t provide any specifics regarding the capacity in which Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were allegedly trying to join the show (which is streamable with a Disney+ subscription). One might think that with their specific backgrounds, they may have been looking at some kind of hosting gig. However, the upcoming Season 32 has its two co-hosts in series alums Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. The notion of the two media personalities seeking jobs with the reality competition series does seem somewhat odd, though. That’s mostly because the program falls under the purview of the House of Mouse, which had to contend with the drama surrounding their exits from GMA.

All of this, of course, should be taken with a grain of salt at this point, and the same is true for the other reports. Sources previously said that both stars were passed on by both CNN and CBS. While it’s all conjecture at this point, those do sound like more realistic landing spots for them as opposed to the ballroom dancing show. Then again, sources say that they’ve been trying to be flexible when it comes to job opportunities.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, who made their first public appearance as a couple in March, are reportedly planning to stick to TV. It’s also said that they ideally want to find a new entertainment entity that would allow them to remain co-hosts. Apparently, if Robach and Holmes can’t land a joint gig, “they will vouch for each other and help each other.” As the insider put it, “they won’t let each other fall.”

As you would expect, news and entertainment entities have not revealed any interest in signing them to a deal. So it remains to be seen whether Amy Robach or TJ. Holmes will ultimately be put in a position in which one has to vouch for the other. We’ll have to wait and see how things pan out for the couple but, at the very least, it sounds like we probably shouldn’t expect to see them pop up on DWTS anytime soon.

As we become further removed from Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ alleged workplace affair, those involved in and affected by the situation seem to be settling into their new lives. To that point, Robach finailzed her divorce from Andrew Shue – her husband of 12 years – back in March. Based on reports that have dropped in recent months, the two exes haven’t had much contact as of late. (Though the former GMA anchor did meet up with Shue in January to do a custody swap of their dog.) With Robach’s marriage officially dissolved, some may be wondering what her relationship with her stepchildren looks like, and we now have some alleged details on that front. 

The 56-year-old Andrew Shue has three sons – Nate, Aiden and Wyatt – whom he shares with Jennifer Hageney, his former wife of 14 years. Based on previous accounts, Amy Robach, 50, became close with her stepkids during her marriage to Shue. And apparently, she’s looking to maintain that connection moving forward. A source shared purported information in regard to how Robach is seemingly looking to remain in her stepsons’ orbits: 

The comments from Us Weekly’s insider may be somewhat surprising due to the way in which the journalist has seemingly kept her distance. Amy Robach was notably absent from Shue family photos during the 2022 Christmas holiday. At that time, the Good Morning America alum was vacationing in Miami with new beau T.J. Holmes. We can’t say for sure whether or not things would be awkward between Robach and her stepsons after everything that’s occurred. Still, if this report is to be believed, it’s admirable that she still wants to serve as a resource to them. Her relationship with her ex-husband, however, seems to be a totally different story. 

As the source mentioned, Andrew Shue is allegedly having a tough time with the situation, and previous unnamed individuals claimed that his former wife’s relationship took him by surprise. A report that dropped in March provided supposed information on the circumstances regarding his marriage with the star in the lead-up to the affair. Shue and his wife had allegedly been drifting from one another, with the latter simultaneously bonding more with T.J. Holmes. As Shue has processed this situation, he’s supposedly received support from his Melrose Place co-stars. 

Amy Robach, meanwhile, is still looking for work alongside T.J. Holmes, who’s she’s also been vacationing with in recent months. It’s been said that both stars ideally want to stick to TV and, while they have the experience, it would seem that they’re not close to landing new jobs. One insider even alleged that both CBS and CNN have already passed on hiring them. Though they want to be co-hosts again, Holmes and Robach are apparently prepared should they not land a joint gig. They’ll allegedly “vouch for each other and help each other.”

This is certainly a new era for Amy Robach, Andrew Shue and co, as they now face a drastically different set of family dynamics. Robach could maintain some of the connective tissue should she keep in regular contact with stepsons. We probably shouldn’t expect such a bond between her and Shue, though, at least in the immediate future.

The days of Live with Kelly and Ryan are numbered, as Ryan Seacrest prepares to make his exit from the daytime talk show this week. Taking the six-year host’s spot is someone Kelly Ripa is already very familiar with — her husband Mark Consuelos. The decision to feature married co-hosts on what will be Live with Kelly and Mark is an interesting one for ABC, as the network recently weathered Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ relationship scandal on GMA3: What You Need to Know. Ripa seemed all too aware of the situation, as she referenced the drama with an amusing comment during a recent interview.

Kelly Rips foresees a “seamless” transition when her husband steps into the role of her permanent co-host on Monday, April 17. That’s certainly good news for ABC, which parted ways with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes in January after a lengthy investigation into their romantic relationship, which began while both were still legally married to their respective spouses. When asked about the ex-GMA3 co-anchors on What What Happens Live, Ripa had jokes, taking a shot at the scandal by responding: 

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have never been shy about broaching intimate topics, with the Riverdale actor even sharing a wild sex story with viewers on one of his guest-hosting stints on Live when Ryan Seacrest was absent. In fact, one does have to wonder if he will continue to bring the same flirty energy to Live with Kelly and Mark as he does to their cheeky social media posts. 

Either way, the suggestion that ABC would have a problem with the spouses of almost 27 years “bangin’ on the side” is actually pretty funny. You can see the full exchange below: 

It’s possible, though, that Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes might have trouble finding the humor in their situation, as they continue to figure out what’s next since signing their exit agreements with ABC News. Insiders report that the duo are looking to continue working together on TV, be that on a talk show, docuseries or even a reality show. However, it seems major networks may not be interested, as CBS and CNN have reportedly passed on hiring them.

As T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s employment situation remains in flux, viewers can look forward to seeing real-life couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos next week. First, however, Live with Kelly and Ryan will bid farewell to Ryan Seacrest, whose last episode will be Friday, April 14. We’ll have to tune in to see what’s in store for his final days, but if Consuelos’ sentimental message to the American Idol host was any indication, we might be in for some tears.
