90 Day Fiancé’s Deavan Clegg shared an update on her son Taeyang’s health following a troubling recently published social media update regarding his cancer. Thankfully, it sounds like the young boy is doing much better after a situation developed at home and required a trip to the emergency room. 

Said ordeal started when Deavan Clegg posted an unfortunate message on Instagram about Taeyang's health. Deavan revealed that her son had a high fever that required her to take him to the ER immediately. She explained that fevers are a big danger when it comes to children who are undergoing chemotherapy. (Her child began his back in May to combat his diagnosis of b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.) In the initial post, Clegg said Taeyang needed a blood transfusion and antibiotics to combat his fever, and she later followed up with an update later via her Instagram Stories after he'd received treatment: 

Taeyang is back at home and thankfully, doing as well as can be expected considering his situation. As for Deavan, she hasn’t offered additional details since since but is likely relieved that she was able to get her son the proper treatment before his situation worsened. 

This is one of the latest updates Deavan Clegg has offered up about Taeyang, though her mother, Elicia, regularly shares updates regarding his medical journey on the fundraising page they set up to help offset the cost of his treatment. Long ago,, Deavan explained to fans that her fundraising is due to the fact that she spent most of the money made from 90 Day Fiancé during a custody battle with her ex-husband Jihoon Lee. Deavan was awarded full custody of Taeyang as a result but is now low on funds as the couple's son continues his fight against cancer. 

To date, 90 Day Fiancé fans and others have come together to donate over $34,000 towards Taeyang’s treatment. In terms of whether or not his father is involved, Deavan has stated that Jihoon is aware of what’s going on but has not tried to reconnect with his child. 

It’s been a while since Deavan was featured on 90 Day, and fans shouldn’t expect her to return to the franchise any time soon. She’s still dealing with the struggles related to her son’s treatment as suggested by this latest post on Instagram:

Based on the latest update, it sounds like Taeyang’s chemotherapy and more are going as well as one could hope for, all things considered. In her words:

Taeyang is in the midst of a two-year treatment process, but according to past updates, he has a high success rate of reaching full recovery status in five years. One big mystery still surrounding this situation, at least when it comes to the 90 Day Fiancé fans, is if Jihoon Lee is aware of the situation. Deavan Clegg offered a somewhat mixed message on whether or not he knows about his son’s sickness, and his Instagram account hasn’t had new posts in some time. Lee no longer has custody of his son following the conclusion of the court proceedings and removed all evidence of his marriage from Deavan and Taeyang from his page. Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee originally appeared on 90 Day Fiancé together but are now divorced and recently concluded a drawn-out custody battle. Clegg received full custody of their shared child Taeyang, which led some to question whether or not Jihoon knows about Taeyang’s situation. Deavan provided fans with an answer on her Instagram Stories (via Reddit), though the response is a bit confusing given her past statements:

Jihoon Lee hasn’t been active on his Instagram page since late May and removed all pictures of Deavan, Taeyang, and Deavan’s daughter Drascilla from his page some time ago. Now that the court case is over, with Clegg winning custody of the young boy, she made some extremely candid claims about why she left Jihoon, also sharing why they “faked” being a couple for reality television.

Apparently, Deavan and Jihoon both had some debts they needed to settle, so they continued to film 90 Day Fiancé despite the struggles in their relationship. It’s interesting to hear that the two broke up long before the alleged end of it all, which made it seem like Deavan fled South Korea and blindsided Jihoon with talk of divorce. This new story offers a new perspective and, if it’s true, it makes Deavan’s decision appear far less shocking. 

Deavan continued in her statement and referenced Jihoon becoming abusive, something she's alleged in previous posts when they first split. Deavan explained how things progressed in their relationship from there, and when the relationship actually ended:

Deavan shared that she had to continue filming with Jihoon, otherwise they wouldn't be paid. According to Deavan, if cast members cease filming or speak out about the "truth" of storylines, they aren't paid, and that pay only comes through once the season is done airing on television. 

Deavan revealed in other stories that she now has 100% custody of Taeyang. Additionally, she said Jihoon has made no attempts to contact or attend mandated virtual visits with Taeyang. Deavan alleged she reached out and tried to make arrangements but was never able to make contact. Jihoon, at one point, tried to start a GoFundMe in order to raise money for legal support but ultimately ended up firing his attorney. Jihoon hasn’t responded to the new comments, but his Instagram account no longer contains photos of Deavan or his son Taeyang. We’ll see if the coming days bring his side of the story or any additional context. 

Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee are no longer on 90 Day Fiancé, but fans can currently re-live their story with a Discovery+ subscription. Even so, it's almost surreal to see he's grown so much, though that might be a product of Deavan Clegg's departure from 90 Day Fiancé. Many fans likely haven't seen Taeyang since she was last on the show, and if she was still involved the change wouldn't be quite so drastic and surprising. In either case, he's certainly a cute kid, and one both parents can be proud of. 

For those wondering what’s going on with Deavan Clegg these days, it seems like she’s still loving life with her boyfriend, Topher Park. No news yet on if the two are on the way to getting married or if the two of them will document that journey by working out a deal to return to reality television.

Deavan blasted TLC for allegedly protecting controversial stars if they’re popular enough, and I’m assuming statements like that wouldn’t exactly encourage 90 Day Fiancé or TLC to want to work with her in the future. 

Stranger things have happened, though, and with her growing platform online and new spinoffs in 90 Day Fiancé (which will eventually be available to HBO Max subscribers) appearing all the time, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if she ultimately returns with her own show. For now, she seems to be enjoying her new life and having plenty of fun celebrating birthdays with her kids.

There’s also Alina Kozhevnikova’s current controversy, which the franchise hasn’t acknowledged, and it continues to run her story on the current season of Before the 90 Days. 

Deavan Clegg lodged some serious allegations against TLC, including some broad claims. She also noted that there’s a possibility she’ll get in trouble for posting those claims, as she’s still under contract with 90 Day Fiancé for another six months, although that is not a sure thing. Now, in a crossover that no one asked for, two former stars of both franchises are in a feud that could result in a legal battle. So what's going on, and why did Deavan Clegg threaten to take Jenelle Evans to court?

Deavan Clegg's potential lawsuit against Jenelle Evans was announced by her publicist Lindsay Feldman, who spoke to TMZ about the 90 Day Fiancé star's intentions. The announcement came on the heels of a 44-minute video by Evans, which explained her side of the drama. In the video, Evans claimed that after she met up with Clegg for a weekend together, her anxiety medication turned up missing. This is reportedly one of the main reasons Clegg will seek legal action, though it's just the latest spat between the two in the midst of a months-long squabble.

The feud between Deaven Clegg and Jenelle Evans started when the two girls were brought together with social media influencer Gabbie Egan for a podcast called Girl S#!t. The podcast quickly fell apart when it was alleged that Clegg learned very public details about Jenelle Evans' life for the first time and asked that she be removed from the podcast. Evans then went to war against Clegg and allegedly leaked news about Clegg's miscarriage. Such is the case with Deavan Clegg, who hasn't appeared since her split from ex-husband Jihoon Lee following Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Clegg has had some drama online with another notable reality television star, and in the midst of that, it may have been revealed she's pregnant with her third child.

To start from the beginning, this drama all started when Deavan Clegg joined a podcast with former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans. According to Evans, once Clegg was on board with the project, she spoke to producers in private and tried to get her fired from the podcast. Clegg later said that she was not aware of Jenelle's controversial past, though Evans said the two explicitly discussed all of that when they stayed together at an Airbnb.

Shortly before that statement, there's a message from Clegg that accuses someone of partnering up with "haters" who "leaked the pregnancy." While it hasn't been explicitly confirmed by Clegg, the conversation seems to indicate that past rumors of Deavan Clegg's pregnancy were true and that she's expecting a third child after previous rumors of a miscarriage.

While it's not known for sure, Deavan Clegg's current relationship with Topher Park would lead to the assumption he's the father of the rumored child. Former 90 Day Fiancé stars Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee are quickly becoming one of the franchise's most controversial couples, as more news surfaces ahead of their upcoming court battles. As the two prepare to fight for custody of their shared son Taeyang, it looks like a fundraiser set up in Jihoon's name has raised a good deal of money.

After two months of fundraising, the GoFundMe page set up by a friend of Jihoon Lee's in America (signed off on by Jihoon) has amassed $11,310 in donations. It's still well short of the $50,000 goal amount intended to pay for Jihoon's representation and flights back and forth between Korea and America, though. Lee has been raising money on his own as well and didn't want to crowdfund, but he was given no other option as Deavan Clegg filed cases against him in early December of 2020.

Jihoon Lee has since found representation through a lawyer in Utah named Joseph C. Alamilla (via InTouch). The fundraising update comes a week after it was revealed Jihoon was officially under investigation for child abuse against his stepdaughter, Drascilla, Deavan - Clegg's child from a past relationship. Jihoon had since fired back, alleging that Deavan did not have a miscarriage, which she told 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and fans when she was pregnant with her third child, but rather an abortion. Both parties have denied the charges against them.

As usual, the story between the two is very much nuanced. Fans had questioned why Deavan Clegg did not immediately raise any charges against Jihoon Lee when she first left him and why Deavan won't allow Jihoon the opportunity to send Taeyang care packages. Fans are also aware that Jihoon Lee did convince Deavan to come back to South Korea under false pretenses, and that pattern of deception caused issues in the two's relationship.

It's currently unclear what will be worked out between the two in court, in regard to where Taeyang will go. The two are separated by a considerable distance, are in different countries and obviously aren't on good terms to negotiate something out of court. The two originally seemed amicable in their split until Deavan began dating Topher Park, with who she is still in a relationship with presently. Deavan has posted photos of Topher with Taeyang, something fans have criticized.

If it isn't apparent by now, it's a very messy situation, and there's no telling how long it will be before either former 90 Day Fiancé star gets the outcome they hope for. The only thing that seems clear is that TLC has no plans to feature the two on the network in the near future, though Deavan has said she still has some form of working relationship with the show's production company.

The reality star, who currently has no plans to return to the franchise, hopped online to address a theory from fans, stating that she had an abortion rather than suffered a miscarriage while married to Jihoon Lee.

The accusation was apparently the final straw, and Clegg took to social media, stating that she'd be taking a break for a while. Read up on her statement posted to Instagram Stories and how her absence from the platform may be shorter-lived than she intended:

Deavan Clegg went a bit further in addressing the allegations, stating that abortion is illegal in South Korea, which further shows how difficult it would've been for her to do while living there. Clegg also addressed that the rumor may have been fueled by ex-husband Jihoon Lee's confirmation that it happened and said she's "disgusted" if that were true. It should be noted there's no evidence of Jihoon confirming the theory on his social media or addressing it in any way.

Deavan Clegg was away from social media for a brief time, but it didn't take long for fans to see links to questionable 90 Day Fiancé content appearing in her stories. Fans wanted to know why Deavan was back so soon and potentially starting drama, given she just left the platform for that reason, and the star responded with the following:

And while Deavan Clegg has not posted photos on her page in a minute, she was back online as of February 8th sharing links to an InTouch article, which reports that South Korean authorities have officially launched an investigation into alleged child abuse by Jihoon Lee. The article also said Deavan has entered a custody battle with Jihoon over their shared son, Taeyang, so it appears all that drama is officially underway. Speaking out now on social media in the midst of an investigation wouldn't be advisable by a legal counsel I'd imagine so, while I personally don't believe Deavan will be absent from social media much going forward, I would expect all talk about Jihoon to stop until court proceedings have ended.

The fundraiser hopes to raise $50,000, and as of this writing, has received a little under $2,000 in donations. The fundraiser in question mentions in its description that Jihoon wished to fund the entire process himself. Still, with Deavan Clegg already filing for divorce in America, he's at an increased risk of the case defaulting in her favor if he does not act sooner rather than later in defending his parental rights.

Jihoon went on in the since-expired Instagram Stories posts to say he is raising money and is working 12-hour shifts often to help make that happen. Another post on his page showed he's attending a class to improve his English. Jihoon apparently faced some criticism from followers for taking the fundraising route to settle his legal dispute, but the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star only had this to say in response:

Jihoon Lee's latest update flies in the face of the story told so far by Deavan Clegg, who has claimed that her ex has made no effort to contact her. Jihoon battled this allegation before, and shared a care package of things he sent to Deavan's address for Taeyang, only for them to be returned. Deavan later said that Jihoon sent the care package to one of his followers in America and that she felt the sharing of her personal address was an issue that threatened her and the children's safety. Deavan had also claimed that Jihoon physically abused her daughter, Drascilla, when they lived in South Korea, but Jihoon has vehemently denied the claims.

The situation is, and has been, a case of he said/she said since the two first split, and it's not clear from a fan perspective who is telling the truth. One thing we do know is that it seems neither are still involved with 90 Day Fiancé. However, Deavan recently insisted she still has some relationship with the production company responsible for the program. Regardless, it seems that any answers on how this custody battle will eventually shake out won't take place on the TLC program.

Deavan, who just recently posted photos that teased the two may be engaged, is now solo in a recent update to Instagram. The young reality star posted modeling pictures of herself on Instagram, along with the following caption.

That caption itself doesn't directly point to trouble involving Topher Park, but it certainly is cryptic and unlike the last several posts she's had on the platform. Her recent posts have been mostly about Deavan's new life with Topher, the fun they have with her children, and occasionally, a live stream or story update dismissing rumors or discussing the ways she was edited to appear on TLC.

The modeling pictures are nothing new when it comes to Deavan Clegg's page, but there is something noteworthy in the way that she's posed. Notice, in the picture below, that her ring finger is not visible, where this is something Deavan has flaunted in the past if there was some update to tease about her relationship status.

Shortly after it was speculated Deavan Clegg separated from estranged husband Jihoon Lee, Deavan went on a live stream where her hand was frequently visible without a ring. In recent posts, Deavan made a point to make her hand visible, to show off a new ring that was in the picture. It should be noted that, at this time, all pictures with Topher Park are still on her social media, so this cryptic caption is really all 90 Day Fiancé fans have to go on.

One possibility is that the two are in the midst of a lover's quarrel, which is not uncommon in a relationship. It certainly happened a lot during Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's short marriage, and situations were often taken to the most extreme when fights happened. Something similar could be happening here, but we can only speculate as to whether or not there is actually any trouble.

One thing there doesn't seem to be is any sign of reconciliation with Jihoon Lee. The two went through a period of airing public grievances against each other during the separation, but that has mostly simmered down in recent weeks. For now, it seems the only major issue is Jihoon Lee's frequent public requests to see his son, Taeyang, to which Deavan Clegg has responded by claiming that he's never actually asked her to see their son.

Additionally, she made a pretty startling claim that she and other unnamed cast members contemplated suicide as a result of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Here's some of what she had to say:

It's pretty shocking stuff, and some of it are things that Deavan Clegg alleged in the past. Mainly, the bit about the show's selective editing, and it is true that 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way did not show a lot of footage from when the couple was in lockdown during COVID-19. Both Deavan and Jihoon have different stories of how their final weeks before she left Korea went down, and viewers have pointed out that neither one alluded to any trouble on their YouTube channel prior to her trip back home.

In regards to suicide, it's unclear who or what Deavan Clegg is referring to. One person who did a post about suicide from the show was her ex, Jihoon Lee, in a post that came in the time after the two publicly confirmed the split. They have had quite a messy public back and forth in recent months, so it's unclear if she's referring to him with her comments about suicide, or someone else.

This wouldn't be the first time a disgruntled castmember made claims about 90 Day Fiancé or Sharp, the production company responsible for it. If nothing else, it should serve as a warning to any future participants that their time on reality television may not turn out the way they plan, or even cause problems for them outside of the show.

The confusing part is that if Deavan Clegg is still "attached" to Sharp Entertainment as she said above, then one would imagine it would be because she still has an active contract specifically with 90 Day Fiancé, unless there's another project in the works that nobody knows about. If that contract requires her participation in filming one of the existing shows, then it would seemingly follow that Deavan would be expected to film again, or else have her contract terminated. She may not be fired yet, but depending on what this level of attachment is and what's contingent on it, that eventuality could still happen.

The bottom line, in any case, would be that it appears Deavan Clegg is done with 90 Day Fiancé and all the other spinoffs that come along with it. That may not be too surprising to hear, especially given the drama in her failed marriage with Jihoon Lee in recent months. Their narrative is reminiscent of what TLC did with Andrei and Libby Castravet, made worse by the fact that Deavan and Jihoon's situation took some far less positive turns after the season finished filming. With that in mind, is it time for TLC to phase out their story?

I say this not just because Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee are no longer presently together (though that's an obvious touchstone), but because of just how ugly their drama has become. The two have accused each other of terrible things on social media, and have aired out super-specific grievances that many people would keep private while in the midst of a painful divorce. Obviously, some fans are eating it up, and are likely watching episodes extra closely now in hopes of seeing those early signs of their impending split. Beyond the obvious ones, of course.

Of course, I pass no judgment on any 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers invested in the former couple's storyline for that particular reason, since this is reality television, after all. With that said, early signs are probably all audiences will get, since filming wrapped for Season 2 as COVID-19 struck South Korea, which was early on in the timeline of their split. Thus, we probably won't see the raw and uncomfortable drama that led to the couple's collapse. It's not even entirely clear whether or not TLC was present for Deavan's flight out of Seoul, though she has previously said she reached out to them prior to departure.

It's also been confirmed that Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee will not be a part of the inevitable 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell-all, so it's assumed that TLC won't have any additional answers regarding what's happening in their lives. With as detailed as Deavan and Jihoon have gotten when talking about their relationship in public, as compared to when they first split, it wouldn't be the most surprising thing in the world if the network had reservations about continuing that partnership for future episodes. TLC stepped away from working with Karine and Paul Staehle when their relationship took a turn for the worse, so perhaps it's time to do the same with these two.

Because as much as I hate to say it, currently knowing as much as we do about Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's relationship makes this whole "planning a second wedding" storyline a little meaningless in the stakes department. For Andrei and Libby, this kind of scenario made for good drama, but as I mentioned earlier, the status of the couples' relationships are wildly different. Granted, it's not very likely that producers will decide to go through all the remaining Season 2 episodes just to edit out Deavan and Jihoon's story, but it'll be interesting to see if their story keeps fans interested as the season continues.

Deavan then shared a picture of Drascilla's head following the incident, which appeared to show that a sizable chunk of hair from the side of her head was missing. It seemed the two were in a fight, but when Deavan was asked about Jihoon unfollowing her, she claimed she didn't know that happened.

Clegg has said she's unable to travel back to South Korea due to current travel restrictions in place, though it's no secret to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers that she has flown home when things are rough between them in the past. The couple revealed this plan was in place on their vlog pre-COVID 19, though at the time it seemed Jihoon Lee would come along to America when it happened.

Whatever happened between the couple may have been recent. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way has been a whirlwind for almost every party involved, but especially Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee. The arguments have been non-stop ever since Deavan arrived with the children in South Korea, and tempers have flared to extremes over several things. Unfortunately, neither party is fluent in the other's language, so they have to rely on what may be the biggest villain of Season 2: their universal translator.

Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee have this universal translator that is somehow awesome at making a bad situation so much worse. Remember earlier in the season when Jihoon lied to Deavan about having the proper finances for them to have the life she wanted in Korea? That wasn't a good look to be sure, but when he tried to apologize to her and explain he was keeping money with his mother to prevent him from spending, the translator spat this out at Deavan:

That's the exact opposite of what Deavan Clegg wanted to hear in a conversation, and was incredibly confusing and alarming given the context of why she was at the home. The frustration with the device ultimately led to tempers flaring, and the conversation ended when Jihoon stormed out of the apartment. At that point, a voice from beyond the camera spoke, and as luck would have it, there was a crew member present who is fluent in both Korean and English.

I'm aware that 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is far from the first reality television series to let situations ride out for drama, but this felt a bit extreme. A real couple is having a high-stakes conversation about whether or not a man's wife and her children will stay in his country long-term, and no one intervenes when the device screws up a translation on that level? That feels a little cruel if that is the case, and almost like TLC is more invested in the drama than Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's actual marriage.

I bring this up now because the preview for next week's midseason finale shows Deavan using the translator to interact with Jihoon's mother, and of course, it's wonky again. We don't know the full context of the conversation, but the preview shows Deavan asking Jihoon's mother what her expectations are for her, and the answer is that she doesn't expect a lot. Once again, the translator came through with a gem that was much worse than what was said.

Deavan Clegg seems to laugh it off a bit, but what's dangerous here is Jihoon Lee's mother does not have any grasp of English. Her assumption could be she was accurately translated, and Deavan may be sitting there thinking her mother-in-law hates her. Truthfully her instincts don't seem to be that far off, but in this case, I think Mama Jihoon was trying to be laid back and it came off as aggressive. Bottom line, I really hope these two got some actual translation help between filming because it would be a shame if these arguments affected the marriage.

Deavan has mentioned on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way that she has already put a lot of money into ensuring the children and Jihoon were okay, and even dropped the alleged dollar amount of what she spent while Jihoon was holding money with his mother.

The point being Deavan didn't demand to see the money from Jihoon because she needed it, but because she wanted to make sure he had not fed her another lie. It's hard not to see her reasoning considering much of what Jihoon had told her prior to the trip regarding finances had been a lie, and there have been some other falsehoods in the past as well. Jihoon Lee does have a decent grasp of English, though it's fair of Deavan to say he may not have been as fluent as he led on.

It's hard not to notice how hard Deavan Clegg is being on husband Jihoon Lee, and the timing is very convenient. Followers recently noticed that Jihoon has scrubbed his page of all pictures with his family, and had unfollowed Deavan on Instagram. What makes the situation all the more curious is that Deavan flew home to America with the children in early July, and as of writing is still in Utah. Deavan originally said the trip was just to spend time in America during the holidays, and more recently, her mother said Deavan and the kids can't go home due to current travel restrictions in South Korea.

Of course, there's something a little strange about the fact that Deavan traveled home with both children without Jihoon. There was talk of a family trip planned to America that was postponed due to COVID-19, so it's odd that Jihoon would be a part of that trip and not the one that actually happened. There are plenty of reasons why he might not have been able to come along, but paired with the Instagram activity it is all a bit bizarre.

The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way showed that Jihoon may seem timid at times, but he can have a real temper. He stormed out of what was supposed to be an apology for lying to her, angrily telling Deavan to "go back to America" when she said he ruined her life. I don't think it's crazy to speculate Jihoon could just be frustrated by the delay in Deavan's return, or the two had another spat about something that caused him to fly off the handle.

It also is worth noting that the edits for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way have not been kind to Jihoon as of late. Fans may be letting him have it on social media after hearing that he opted for a part-time job over full-time so he could take more naps or the fact that he had his mother hold money for him as opposed to sending it to Deavan after the birth of their son. Jihoon may have scrubbed his page to escape potential abuse from fans, and the "I'm done" was completely unrelated to his relationship. Deavan and Jihoon probably can't tell the full story anyway thanks to NDAs, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee's relationship has been one of the messiest of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way so far, and at this point, it even seems like Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira may have a better shot at outlasting them. Things came to a head in the latest episode, in which Jihoon stormed out after Deavan said his lies about his finances "ruined her life."

Given that drama, it's not hard to imagine that their relationship isn't long for this world. Those who look at spoilers know that couldn't be further from the truth, however, and Deavan's mom, Elicia Clegg, is shutting down rumors.

It's a surprising show of support from Elicia, who has openly criticized Jihoon on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way for his life decisions. She has made it clear that she believes Jihoon should be the sole provider for the family and was not happy when she saw the state of the home the couple was originally going to live in. In this episode, Elicia was openly advocating for Deavan to return to America with her, so to see her defending the relationship may give some fans whiplash.

Keep in mind that all of what is being shown on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way was before COVID-19, so a lot of time has passed since this filming. I've covered in the past that the couple's YouTube channel has confirmed Deavan was still in South Korea at the time the country was on lockdown, so the odds seem pretty good that she won't leave the country in an upcoming episode like she's been threatening.

With that being said, there have been recent questions about Jihoon and Deavan after Instagram revealed that Deavan has been in America with both the children since mid-July. The posts may have led some to believe that Deavan and Jihoon are on the outs again, and for that reason, Deavan decided to return to America with both the kids. Elicia Clegg has clarified that in a reply to a follower in another Instagram post that featured Deavan's daughter, Drascilla. Elicia wrote:

Deavan currently can't go to South Korea, and apparently, Jihoon did not travel to America. The reasons why Jihoon didn't travel with the family is unclear, though it could be something as simple as wishing to save money or that he had a job that he couldn't take time away from. I can only speculate on all that, but I feel pretty safe in assuming Deavan and Jihoon are fine if Elicia is willing to go to bat for them.

If it wasn't apparent by the previous 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode, Deaven Clegg and her mother were less than thrilled by the apartment Deaven selected in Korea. Of course, that anger was brushed off of her and onto Deaven's Korean husband Jihoon Lee, who they thought should've scoped out the place before their arrival. The episode ended with Deaven threatening to travel back home with her mom, which may cause some to wonder if she's still in South Korea.

As is often the case with 90 Day Fiancé stars, social media can only tell so much. Both Jihoon and Deaven have been active on Instagram, but there have not been any recent pictures with them together. The implication would be that the couple may have split and Deaven carried through on her promise at the end of the episode to return home.

Is that what happened though? The answer is seemingly no, but we do have evidence that Deaven has traveled back to the United States. Deaven revealed as much during an Instagram live (via Sharell's World) from a couple of weeks back when she was responding to disparaging comments made by former 90 Day Fiancé star Geoffrey Paschel. Here's the relevant bit, with all the drama with Geoffrey excluded.

So yes, Deaven has been in the United States with her kids, but not because of the apartment. Still, I wouldn't expect Deaven to be able to reveal the full details of why she'd be in America, and the fact that Jihoon isn't in this live video could be seen as a bit suspicious.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way may have revealed that Deaven will be in South Korea for a while in the show. An early preview for the season showed additional scenes of Deaven in South Korea, but her mom was nowhere in sight.

We also know from Jihoon's YouTube channel that the couple was still in South Korea back in March when COVID-19 struck the country. Jihoon and Deaven had to cancel a trip to America because of the illness but had hoped to reschedule the trip at a later date. Deaven's recent trip may be that previous trip planned, but we really don't know for sure. It does still seem she and Jihoon are still together, as I doubt she'd be defending Jihoon's manhood on his recent Instagram post otherwise.

Jihoon and Deaven may be at each other's throats all of Season 2 off 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, but it seems like things have all worked out for the better. They still seem to be together, and sometimes, that's the best we can hope for with the couples of this franchise. That said, their constant up and downs as a couple could make Deaven's recent stay in the U.S. be much longer than expected, especially if Jihoon is still not providing for the family like Deaven wants him to. Hopefully, he's living up to her standards!
