If one is having a discussion about the wildest endings in 21^st century cinema, Josh and Bennie Safdie’s Uncut Gems is a film that demands recognition. The third act is a masterclass of cinematic tension as Adam Sandler’s Howard Ratner traps a pair of loan shark goons in his jewelry shop’s security door while he waits to see if a life-changing bet pays off. Howard’s fate is ultimately sealed, as he wins the bet but gets shot in the head (dying with a smile on his face) – but there is one major question that the film doesn’t answer: what happens to Julia Fox’s Julia De Fiore and all of Howard’s winnings?

At the end of Uncut Gems, Julia doesn’t know what has happened to Howard, but she successfully avoids the hired thugs that have been dispatched to search for her at the casino where she placed Howard’s bet. Her final scene has her getting into a limo with plans on flying back to New York City to reunite with the protagonist, but it’s not revealed in the movie what happens when she learns that he is dead. There are many possibilities, but when I spoke with Julia Fox this month during the Los Angeles press day for HIM (as captured in the video above), she expressed a very positive outlook:

Let’s be real: it’s a good person who takes a share of gambling winnings and gives them to the family of a man with whom she has been carrying on an affair – but Julia Fox evidently sees Julia De Fiore as a good person of that caliber.

For those who don’t recall, Julia is an employee at Howard’s store, and they have a complicated romantic relationship thanks to his infidelity and a bad mix of paranoia and jealousy. By the end of the film, however, she comes through for him in a big way by successfully placing his massive bet on the success of Kevin Garnett in the 2012 NBA Championships. She perhaps doesn’t “earn” every single cent of the winnings, but I suppose that’s why it’s fair to think that she gave some of the money to Howard’s family.

Uncut Gems is not a movie that is easy to watch multiple times (there’s only so much extreme tension that the body can take), but if you’re now feeling in the mood to revisit the insanity, there are plenty of options. The film is available for both digital rental and purchase from all major online outlets, and physical media fans would be doing themselves a favor by adding the Criterion Collection’s Uncut Gems 4K UHD to their collections.

“Go big or go home” is a common expression among athletes, and it’s appropriately applied to the finale of director Justin Tipping’s new film HIM as well. The whole movie is rather insane – as brain-damaged quarterback Cameron Cade (Tyriq Withers) spends a nightmarish week with his idol Isaiah White (Marlon Wayans) in a training compound trying to prove he has what it takes to become the Greatest Of All Time – but that insanity most definitely peaks in the third act. Cameron comes to a full understanding of what’s really at stake in the whole business, and his response to it all is rather… over the top.

As any normal audience member would, I watched HIM’s ending with wide eyes and a slacked jaw when I saw it earlier this month, and it left me impressed to the point that I felt compelled to ask the stars of the film about it when I spoke with them during the recent Los Angeles press day. Tyriq Wither spoke about the surprising conditions and the work that went in, and Julia Fox, who plays Isaiah’s wife Elsie, divulged her thoughts about her character’s personal motivations. But before we dig into that material, let’s first do a recap of what happens in the new horror movie’s final scene.

What Happens At The End Of HIM

At the end of HIM, Cameron Cade finally starts getting answers to many, many questions – and some are answers to questions he didn’t even know to ask. After a week of training with Isaiah, he discovers that becoming the greatest of all time isn’t something that is earned, but rather it is bestowed. He is part of a very specific and designed plot to succeed the man he has long idolized as the quarterback for the San Antonio Saviors, and the first hurdle is battling and killing Isaiah – beating him to death with a helmet.

This act is followed by a blood-covered Cameron walking outside and finding himself attending a daylight ceremony that is attended by Tom (Tim Heidecker), his agent, Elsie White, and the masked ownership of the San Antonio Saviors – not to mention a bunch of creepy, faceless cheerleaders. Our protagonist comes to understand not only that his father had a deal with the owner of the Saviors to raise his son as a star QB, but that the attack that left him brain damaged was orchestrated so that no other team in the league would draft him. The response to this is unhinged and exceptionally gory violence, as Cameron proceeds to slaughter everybody, with the coup de grâce being Tom getting into the middle of a pentagram and exploding as jets fly overhead.

They say “no guts, no glory” – and there are definitely a whole lot of guts.

Tyriq Withers Discusses His Experience Filming That Bonkers Final Scene

As captured in the video at the top of this article, I used the last question in my recent interview with Tyriq Withers and Marlon Wayans to ask the former what it was like shooting that crazy scene. He explained that a lot went into it, but he noted that the complexity of it all also gave him the ability to become hyper-focused – which ultimately works for his performance, as one can see pure drive in Cameron Cade’s eyes on screen as he executes a swath of people who have successfully manipulated his entire life.

As Withers explained, however, one fun bit of trivia about the HIM ending scene concerns the weather on the day. Cameron is shirtless during the sequence, and the general desert environment of the movie sells all of the action happening in heat – but it might surprise you to learn that it was actually a bit chilly out. Said the actor,

As for Marlon Wayans sitting beside him, he was unable to resist making a joke at his co-star’s expense:

I suppose that’s something that Tyriq Withers can now put on his resume? Maybe under “Special Skills”?

Why Julia Fox Doesn’t Think You Should Judge Elsie Too Much For Her Choices

One of the more surprising players at the end of HIM is Elsie White. Throughout the film, she comes across as one of the nicer, more normal people whom Cameron encounters during his week of training with Isaiah (her use of jade eggs in her vagina notwithstanding), but she shows off some very different colors in the final scene. Despite the fact that her husband has just died, her priority is finishing the larger mission and getting the star quarterback to sign on the dotted line to play for the San Antonio Saviors.

Curious about this revelation, I asked about Elsie’s true face when I spoke with Julia Fox during the HIM press day, and she offered justification for why the character makes the decisions that she ultimately makes. She explained that there was a full backstory for Elsie White that we don’t learn about on screen, and it’s a history that led her to look out for herself while knowing that nobody else would:

You might call that selfish, but Julia Fox more sees Elsie as someone who is operating in pure survival mode. She continued,

Julia Fox has justifications for the role that Elsie plays in the manipulation of professional football… but that justification is certainly not registered by Cameron, as she winds up just as dead as everybody else in the finale of HIM.

Steven Soderbergh is a celebrated filmmaker, recognized for movies including Erin Brokovich, Traffic, and his debut Sex, Lies, and Videotape. Never afraid to push boundaries, the director is now bringing his unique perspective to the 2025 movie calendar with his upcoming horror movie Presence. Starring Lucy Liu, Julia Fox and Chris Sullivan, Presence is finally hitting theaters on January 24 — a full year after it began garnering attention from its premiere at Sundance and other film festivals. Let’s see what critics are saying about Soderbergh’s supernatural thriller.

Told from the perspective of the entity that inhabits the home of the Payne family, Presence is apparently so intense that some audience members walked out of its film festival premiere, and even the cast was reportedly left shaken. CinemaBlend’s Corey Chichizola had the opportunity to see the film, and he says Presence puts a spin on POV horror that he never knew he needed. He writes:

Lindsey Bahr of the AP gives the movie 3 out of 4 stars, saying as director and cinematographer, Steven Soderbergh really IS the ghost, and he weaves quite the “chillingly effective tale” that packs an unexpected punch. Bahr says:

Jesse Hassenger of AV Club gives it a B+, likening the movie to the Paranormal Activity franchise with a twist. The new spin on found footage horror is worth every penny of the ticket price, the critic says, writing:

Richard Roeper of the Chicago Sun-Times rates Presence 3 out of 4 stars, positing that it was such an interesting story that it would have even worked without the ghost. The dysfunctional family provides the drama, and honestly the horror too. Roeper continues:

While many critics are buying into Steven Soderbergh’s POV, Nerds of Color’s Mike Manalo says the familiar dysfunctional family story drags down the director’s attempts to liven up the trope of having a dead protagonist. Manalo applauds its diverse cast, though, and admits the movie is still worth seeing. The critic gives Presence an A for representation but a C+ for entertainment, writing:

The critics have lots of interesting takes on the upcoming haunted house movie, but overall they seem to agree that Steven Soderbergh’s POV is one worth checking out. On Rotten Tomatoes, it’s been Certified Fresh with 88% on the Tomatometer, so if you want to see what this movie is all about — and what had people walking out of theaters on the festival circuit — Presence hits theaters on Friday, January 24.

If you pay attention to pop culture it means that you’ve been a witness to the ascent and dissolution of nearly innumerable celebrity romantic pairings. And, when people already have a considerable number of fans, they can all have very strong opinions about who their favorites date. As hitmaker Kanye West was in the midst of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, he briefly dated actress Julia Fox, and, apparently, we’ve now reached the era where even she admits that dating the chart-topper was “cringe.”

What Does Julia Fox Say Now About Dating Kanye West?

For those who have already lost track of the many complicated ins and outs of the divorce proceedings of SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian and fashion mogul Kanye West (which was finalized in November 2022), they both dated other people after being declared legally single in late 2021, with the “Carnival” rapper having a whirlwind romance with Uncut Gems star Julia Fox in early 2022. She recently spoke with Cosmopolitan and was asked which of her exes is “the most cringe,” and she replied:

While the fan of some outrageous fashion looks was careful not to mention West by name, it was pretty clear that she was referring to him in the video that was filmed for the magazine. This is quite the turnaround from what the leaf dress-wearing talent said not long after their February 2022 breakup, when she mentioned that their dating “brought a spark back into my life.”

It was only a little while later that Fox, seemingly, gained some additional perspective. She then admitted that she’d noticed there were “a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety” after dating the man who’s now married to Bianca Censori, with her noting that she was getting fewer offers to act. The one time accessories-only outfit sporting star also revealed why their relationship simply wasn’t “sustainable,” because she had trouble fitting his “really big personality” into her “already full life.”  

Now that the relationship has been over for more than two years, it’s understandable that the Down the Drain author would have some new ideas when it comes to the romance that put her name in front of way more people than it had been previously. Going through such things can lead people to gaining new insights on themselves, which Fox said was true of her and West, because she was able to “let go of the past” and begin “packing up my old life” only a couple of days after meeting him. 

It can also lead the same people to realize that, just maybe, the romance wasn’t all for the best, and ended for good reason, and that seems to be where Fox has landed on her fast and furious fling with West right now.

Julia Fox burst onto the entertainment scene in earnest as a cast member of Uncut Gems, Adam Sander’s 2019 crime dramedy. But, since then, she’s emerged as a social media influencer. As such, she’s produced material across a plethora of platforms, including TikTok. It’s through her work on that site that she’s become close with some fellow content producers. That’s what seems to have prompted her to speak out following the death of TikToker Eva Evans at the age of 29. Fox reacted to the news in an emotional video she posted. 

The TikTok video that the media personality posted in remembrance of her friend begins with a snippet of Eva Evans providing commentary on JoJo Siwa. After that, 34-year-old Julia Fox appears on camera and tearfully discusses Evans’ passing. She also gets candid about her relationship with Evans and other TikTokers. Her sentiments read as follow:

Confirmation of Eva Evans’ death came from her sister, Lila, who confirmed the news on Instagram on April 21. Lila released a statement, asking that people share the news so that it reaches the appropriate people. While paying tribute to her late sibling, she also confirmed that a celebration will be held in Eva’s honor on Tuesday, April 23 in Manhattan. Specific details on the service were provided in a subsequent post. As of this writing, a cause of death has yet to be confirmed. You can see Lila’s post in its entirety down below: 

The late social media maven had a strong following on TikTok, as she possessed over 300,00 followers there. Her videos chronicled her life in New York, showcasing not just her personal experiences but also her unique brand of humor. She eventually parlayed her popularity into the show Club Rat, which is available for Prime Video subscribers. The show saw her playing an influencer who tries to get back into the dating scene after a painful breakup goes viral. 

Julia Fox – also known for dating Kanye West a few years ago – has remained busy as of late. She’s currently set to host a new show for E!, OMG Fashun, which is set to air as part of the 2024 TV schedule. She recently did press for the production, during which she wore shoes with hair extensions. Like her late friend, she’s carved out a lane for herself, doing so through her distinctive fashion looks – such as her bold Cannes 2023 ensemble. There’s also the boots, belts and coat she wore at Milan Fashion Week that same year. 

One can see how a community could be forged among the many who entertain and inform the masses through TikTok and other social media channels. It’s incredibly sad that Eva Evans is no longer with us, though it’s also encouraging that Julia Fox and others are taking the time to honor her memory.

The Italian-American actress just showed off a real hair-raising look, as she rocked some new shoes actually made out of hair extensions.

Considering her experience as a clothing designer and all of the modeling campaigns she’s done, the media personality knows a thing or two about wearing fashions that can turn heads. However, I'm not sure anyone could've seen this her latest footwear coming. The 34-year-old mother of one is serving as the host of the brand-new show OMG Fashun and recently participated in a press day. Amid the event at the Marriot Hotel, she showed off her unique hair -- which was in plain sight on her shoes as she walked the streets. Take a look at this for yourself:

The new competition series OMG Fashun is supposed to be about designers competing for the top prize by creating the most unconventional styles. I'm sure there will be some eclectic fits to behold, but those shoes just take the cake. The Gotham Awards nominee also wore a black blazer that had patches of scissors, tweezers, hair clips and a strainer sewed to it. (You'd think she was prepping for beauty school.) And, instead of pants, the PVT Chat star sported black briefs with silver hair clips and a razor sewn. 

But, of course, what really got my attention regarding Julia Fox’s look were those shoes! There are actually blonde hair extensions coming out of them that match her wig, and there are even silver hair clips attached.  If anything, I’d think the potential hazard of having hairy stems like those would be the risk of tripping over them. But something tells me the fashion icon knows how to walk the walk in them.

To say that Julia Fox's fashion choices have been unique would be an understatement. A couple of years ago, she wore a dress made of leaves, with her motto being “Anything can be clothes.” The Down the Drain author also once carried around a human-sized handbag that looked just like her amid New York Fashion Week. There's also the time that she wore nothing but belts, boots and a coat during Milan Fashion Week in 2023. Additionally, you can’t forget about the time Fox freed the nipple with her see-through black dress and belly button cutout at the Courrèges Womenswear Fall Winter 2023 and 2024 show. 

These hair extension-laced shoes are just another example of how Julia Fox is looking to push the boundaries of fashion. Now, after seeing her latest ensemble, I'm very curious as to what other styles she has in store while hosting E!’s OMG Fashun. The show will premiere as part of the 2024 TV schedule on May 6 at 9 p.m. ET.

Celebrity memoirs seem to be all the rage right now, and Julia Fox is one of the many who has recently published one. The Uncut Gems star’s book, Down the Drain, covers a considerable amount of ground, but there’s one particular aspect of her life that the public seems most curious about. I’m, of course, referencing her brief relationship with rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West. While Fox previously revealed that West wouldn’t be mentioned much, the nuggets of information she did include are interesting, to say the least. One claim she makes is that he tried to get her to sign an NDA, and the actress apparently responded with a blunt text. 

Based on the comments the 33-year-old star has made while promoting her book, this project was a long time coming for her. That includes her 2022 fling with the “Praise God” performer. The Guardian obtained a number of excerpts from the memoir and detailed a few moments involving the polarizing music star. One portion of material pulled from the text detailed the apparent frustration Julia Fox was starting to feel while in the relationship. It seems Fox was particularly upset about the indirect influence Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, was having on the romance. According to the actress, she was simply “a pawn in this grand master plan to get back at his ex-wife.” And Fox considered that “a really shitty position to be in.”

It sounds like the situation started turning around for the better, on her part, though. Her personal responsibilities to her now-2-year-old son, Valentino, apparently helped pull her out of Ye’s orbit. She also recalled that some time later, one of her estranged boyfriend’s assistants delivered a non-disclosure agreement to her. Then the rapper himself allegedly reached out with a text that read, “I can’t be friends with you if you don’t sign it.” The No Sudden Move alum said she responded to that declaration with the following message: 

That’s a direct answer and, while Julia Fox doesn’t confirm it, you can’t help but get the impression that it was the nail in the coffin for the relationship. This wasn’t the only intriguing interaction she recalled having with Kanye West, either. Through the book, Fox also recalled him offering to get her a “boob job” (while they were playing Uno). The star’s past interviews have suggested she has mixed feelings about West these days. Still, as she went on to explain, she attempted to provide a balanced account while discussing him and other aspects of her life in the book: 

Ye and Julia Fox were first romantically linked in January 2022, after the rapper was seen on a date with Adam Sandler’s former co-star in Miami. The pair went official that same month and, at the time, Fox got candid about “packing up” her old life to be with the Grammy winner. Breakup rumors began to swirl around them by February, at which point Fox deleted photos of him from her Instagram. By March, the two had officially broken up. After the fact, Fox explained that the situation wasn’t “sustainable,” as she wasn’t able to fit a “really big personality” into her “jam-packed life.” 

The Yeezy founder is now married to Bianca Censori, while the PVT chat star is focused on her acting and podcasting career. As she sets her sights on the future, the actress might still be compelled to share more about her time with Ye. After all, she didn’t end up signing that NDA.

Kim Kardashian is probably the first one who comes to mind, but you might remember he was also engaged in a short-lived relationship with actor Julia Fox. The Uncut Gems alum hasn’t shied away from discussing her romance with the polarizing music and fashion mogul. She most recently shared some thoughts about him in her memoir, which includes the assertion that West allegedly spoke to her about getting a “boob job.” And apparently, the moment in which it came up couldn’t be any more random.

Down the Drain is the topic of the 33-year-old starlet’s new book, and it chronicles both her professional and personal exploits. Those who’ve been following her love life are probably most eager to hear what she has to say about the “Jesus Walks” performer. While she previously confirmed Ye wouldn’t be mentioned much, the excerpts from the text that have been released are intriguing. The Guardian got its hands on a few portions of the memoir, including her mention of Kanye West’s breast augmentation offer. That’s striking enough on its own, but it’s the supposed backdrop that has me scratching my head: 

I’m not sure about all of you but, in my experience, people typically discuss other kinds of topics when indulging in games like Uno. One can’t help but wonder why the Grammy winner supposedly proposed such an operation. Of course, we don’t have the full context, so maybe something was said in the lead-up to that assertion that we’re missing. As it stands though, that’s an odd subject to bring up during such an occasion.

To be completely honest, Julia Fox and Kanye West’s relationship didn’t seem to be all that typical, in general. The two became official in early 2022 and, shortly after, Fox essentially packed up the life she knew to be with the multihyphenate. Amid the romance, Fox didn’t mince words about her choice to be with the actor and shot down rumors that she was only with him for fame. The pair ultimately broke up a month later, and the No Sudden Move alum would later state that the breakup was partially due to her relationship with West not being “sustainable.” 

The star has shared more thoughts on the fling in recent months – some of which haven’t been all that positive. For instance, she claims being with Ye negatively impacted her acting career. She asserts that since the breakup, she’s had less opportunities come her way. While discussing her book with The Los Angeles Times, she also claimed the songwriter “weaponized” her amid his conflicts with ex wife Kim Kardashian.

It’s easy to get the impression that while it was brief, the time Julia Fox and Kanye West spent together was eventful, if not occasionally peculiar. For her part, Fox may never forget her exploits with the entertainer, including their Uno games and that alleged offer to get her a boob job.

You could certainly make the argument, though, that actress and social media influencer Julia Fox is one of the most eclectic. While her time with West was brief, it was truly memorable from the outside looking in. These days, Fox has her hands full with a number of endeavors, including a memoir. She’s set to tackle a number of topics in the book, including her short-lived romance with the rapper. But just how much will it be featured in the text?

Julia Fox is already promoting Down the Drain, which is set to hit bookshelves later this year. The media personality, who’s never hesitated to speak her mind on any given topic, seems more than eager to share her story. She spoke to E! News and explained that she’s “not afraid to be vulnerable.” Of course, that mantra also rings true when it comes to her infamous relationship with Ye. Based on the tease she shared with the outlet though, don’t expect her new book to dwell on the subject too much: 

This makes sense for a few reasons, to be honest. As mentioned, the relationship didn’t last that long, so it’s understandable that it wouldn’t take up a substantial portion of the book. On another note, those who follow the “Stronger” performer know that he doesn’t mind engaging in feuds. Pete Davidson – who dated Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, found himself in a “civil war” with the rapper. It would seem that the Uncut Gems actress merely wants to avoid a similar situation. 

Julia Fox and Kanye West were first linked when the music mogul was spotted on a date with Adam Sandler’s former co-star in January 2022. That same month, Fox opened up about “packing up” her old life to be with West. Fox claimed early on that she really cared for the musician, shooting down claims that she was only with Ye for fame. Much of her energy seems to be going into her upcoming book more recently. Later in her interview with E!, she expressed her joy over the memoir’s release:

At only 33 years old, the No Sudden Move alum has definitely lived an eventful life, and it sounds like she’s ready to regale her fans with some intimate stories. The Kanye West-related material may only make up about six pages, but expect a lot of people to pore over that information regardless.

Fox attended the The Art of Elysium "Paradis" 25th anniversary event this weekend in Cannes. Fox has always been privy to fashion risks, however showing up almost topless to a Cannes event may be her riskiest move yet. Her outfit consisted of a transparent glass breastplate and a big bulbous white skirt that tapered at the bottom. Fox isn’t the only one unafraid to free the nipple at major red carpet events. The internet was sent into a frenzy when Florence Pugh wore a see-through pink Valentino dress at a fashion show. Zoe Kravitz also showed up to the 2021 Met Gala in a sheer gown from Saint Laurent. The “naked dress” trend is in full force, and celebrities not afraid to make a statement are participating in the latest fashion movement. While sheer has been in fashion for quite a few years, only a few have been bold enough to go basically topless. 

When Julia Fox isn’t setting the world ablaze with daring risqué fashion moments, she is starring in indie films. She recently wrapped production on The Trainer, which is about a fitness expert that comes into fame and fortune. She stars alongside Bella Thorne, Gina Gershon and Beverly D'Angelo. She also has a successful podcast called Forbidden Fruits and has a strong TikTok presence where she opens up about her life, including her past romance with Kanye West.

Fashion is incredibly fluid and, if you’re like me, you may have a tough time keeping up with it. There are plenty of celebrities who don’t have that issue, however, including Kanye West. The controversial rapper has sported more than a few striking looks in his time – during performances or when he’s simply out and about. Well, it seems that his new wife, Bianca Censori, shares that eclectic sense of style. The model is rarely on social media, but she just recently appeared in promotional photos, which showed her rocking nothing but body tape. And funny enough, West’s ex, Julia Fox, approves.

Bianca Censori was promoting a new line for Yeezy, and the images were shared to social media. This is a minimalist fit, to say the least, as it includes a black square which covers her breasts and a strip that covers up her vagina. In addition, there’s a cross that conceals her butt crack. The look is topped off by Censori’s black boots, which mostly engulf her thighs. You can see the outfit, which was designed by Mowalola Ogunlesi, for yourself down below: 

That’s certainly a fashion statement if I’ve ever seen one, and users who are dropping responses in the comments seem to be digging it. One noted how “creative” it is, while another stated that they’re “glad you’re working with [Yeezy].” As mentioned, Julia Fox weighed in as well, and she essentially gave her ex’s new partner the thumbs up by dropping some emojis: 

The Uncut Gems alum knows a thing or two about style herself, as she’s been noted for her own unique ensembles. Earlier this year, she turned heads when she rocked nothing but belts, boots and a coat at Milan Fashion Week. And last fall, she sported a dress made entirely of leaves, which was giving serious Poison Ivy vibes. So if this most recent interaction signifies anything, it’s that fashionistas recognize fellow fashionistas. 

Julia Fox has been open about her relationship with Ye, speaking early on about “packing up” her old life to be with him around January 2022. The Grammy winner reportedly cleared out her closet and replaced her wardrobe at the time, and Fox was seemingly able to adapt. But following their breakup in March of that year, Fox explained that their relationship ultimately wasn’t “sustainable.” 

Things are going just swimmingly for Bianca Censori and Kanye West, though, if reports are to be believed. They had a surprise wedding earlier this year and, while it appears that they haven’t actually made things legal, they’ve apparently been enjoying something akin to newlywed bliss. A few months ago, a source also claimed that Censori was having an impact on her hubby’s work, and that same person alleged that they were designing a new line of clothes together. The nearly nude look above may just be one of the fruits of their labor. 

Should the relationship continue to progress as it is, this may just be the first of many outfits that Bianca Censori models for Yeezy. You can’t help but wonder how the two might top this tape look but, given what we know about Kanye West, I’m sure he’ll find some way to do it. It’s fair to say that not everyone may be high on this kind of fashion (and that’s even reflected in the comments). But models like Censori and Julia Fox certainly have the right to work their bodies however way they see fit. I’m just hoping the former had a jacket during that shoot in case she got cold.

Julia Fox has made a name for herself for reasons ranging from acting roles (notably including Uncut Gems opposite Adam Sandler) to her modeling gigs to her fashion forays, including recently sporting nothing but the bare essentials for Milan Fashion Week and carrying a human-sized handbag. Some might know her better as Kanye West’s ex from their brief relationship back in early 2022. Early this year, she generated some buzz for a very different reason than what she wore and who she dated: admitting via TikTok that she has mice in her apartment. Now, weeks later, she has responded to those who criticized her for it.

The reveal about Fox having mice in her apartment came via Fox herself in a three-minute apartment tour video on TikTok. While most of the video was her showing fans around her apartment and explaining why she doesn’t want to upgrade to something bigger, she ended by acknowledging a mouse problem, but saying it’s only a problem “depending on how you look at it” and she likes that they come out at night and clean up crumbs dropped by her two-year-old son Valentino.

Now, weeks after she posted the TikTok back in January, Julia Fox spoke with ET about the criticism that she received for having mice in her apartment and not seeming to care about it. She said: 

Mice may be a problem that need to be dealt with ASAP and/or send the more rodent-phobic up on top of chairs to avoid them in other parts of the world, but according to Julia Fox, New Yorkers don’t worry about mice, and that’s not hard to believe. After all, would Katie Couric have fallen for the text hoax about a rat last year if rats weren’t the bigger problem in NYC? Sure, they’re not rats on par with the Stranger Things rats, but definitely grosser than the mice that Fox apparently has in her apartment! 

In all seriousness, it’s safe to say that the majority of Fox’s 1.7 million followers on TikTok don’t live in New York City, so I’d say that a little bit of confusion about how little she cared about having mice is fair. The actress/model went on to share how her attitude toward having mice has changed over the years as well, and her comments are worth a laugh: 

Julia Fox doesn’t seem to be taking the backlash against her mouse confession too seriously, and it’s worth noting that mentioning the mouse was just a small moment from her TikTok tour of her apartment, which painted a picture of a life that one might not expect of the woman who jumped on the pantashoes craze after the end of her relationship with Kanye West (which she says hurt her career) and creates outfits out of leaves. Honestly, the apartment tour leaves me more with questions about how many shoes she has in her kitchen than about the mouse in her house, and she did speak about her “cathartic” experience of packing up old clothes when she started dating Kanye West. But hopefully her clarification about mice vs. rats in New York City will quiet some of her critics on this particular issue! Julia Fox has become notable for her fashion in recent months. The Uncut Gems actress wore nothing but belts in one memorable look and she carried a human-sized (and Kim Kardashian-shaped) bag in another. Now, she’s pulling a Florence Pugh and freeing the nipple for her latest look. In her version, though, she also has a belly button ring cutout. 

Taking to Paris Fashion Week, Julia Fox attended the Courrèges Womenswear Fall Winter 2023 and 2024 show in a skintight black dress that was see-through. She accessorized the dress with a leather shrug and some black sunglasses (not to mention a belly button ring). Take a look at the notable fashion moment, below. 

I actually am hearing Bill Hader's infamous SNL character Stefon in my head when I'm taking inventory of this dress. "This dress has everything. Leather, sheer fabric, a too-tight pattern that someone is 100 percent going to trip in. And just when you think the fun is over, that cutout brings new meaning to the term 'bling ring.' 

Seriously though, this dress does look like a celebrity trip in the making. Kudos to Julia Fox for getting out of it with no wear and tear and for looking so stylish while doing it. If yours truly was in that dress, I don't think I could have made it more than five steps.

As noted prior, Fox has been making waves with fashion moments recently. The actress and model's biggest look to date was probably when she carried the life-sized human handbag, which made press both because it's something that really hadn't been done before and also because some fans were likening the bag to Kim Kardashian. That might seem out there, but Julia Fox did briefly date Kanye West after his divorce from Kim K, so it might not, either.  

While the bag may be most notable, I'm not saying this sheer dress is passé. It's the type of look that very on-trend for the moment and has been on trend for a while now. In fact, we've seen the naked dress get a lot of attention over the past couple of years from celebrities as varied as Megan Fox's infamous VMAs look to Shakira's new sheer music video outfit just this week. 

So I guess what I'm saying is that sheer dresses are perhaps here to stay... at least for a little while longer. Not sure if I can say the same for belly button ring cutouts, but who knows? 

If that's true, we may see Julia Fox free the nipple again quite soon. She's definitely still at Paris Fashion Week, as she was also spotted at a MAC Locked Kiss Ink event on March 1st, though this time she was covered in a bright red look that matched her hair. We'll have to wait and see if any other notable looks crop up again soon. 

While most people probably know Uncut Gems cast member Julia Fox because of her short-lived, early 2022 romance with Kanye West (which she later explained she did partially to “distract him” from his ex, Kim Kardashian), she’s since beefed up her online presence and become quite the woman about town. In fact, the actress has been making some waves with her fashion choices lately, and has now stepped out at Milan Fashion Week in nothing but belts, boots, and a coat.

What Did Julia Fox Wear To Milan Fashion Week?

While we’ve given you a small taste of her outfit in the photo above, rest assured that this is an ensemble you really need to see fully so that you can grasp any descriptors. So, let’s just take a better look at the lovely lady (who, not that long ago, made of dress of real leaves that left her booty hanging out) and how she showed up to Milan’s fashion week festivities on Wednesday night, shall we?

See? I told you you’d have to observe the full uniform in order to appreciate anything that came next. Aren’t you glad you listened to me?

OK, so what we have here is your classic “let’s turn some belts into a tube top and mini skirt” situation. HA! Just kidding! There’s nothing even remotely classic about these duds, and that’s why we can’t look away, right? Page Six notes that Ms. Fox is clad tip to toes in Diesel brand clothing, with all those belts being used to create the bulk of the garments that cover her most delicate bits. It’s wild, right? Pantashoes be damned!

On top, the star (who admitted that dating the “All of the Lights” rapper hurt her career) has three, relatively narrow, belts fashioned into a boob covering: one is a light, distressed denim, one a bright, lipsticky sort of red, and the other is a metallic silver with a buckle that holds the brand’s big “D” logo in a shimmery oval. On the bottom, there appear to be two much wider belts over black underwear. (Awww. Undies. How quaint!) One of those belts is a shiny black number, while the other one that sits lower is covered in a print that features overlapping photos of an open mouth, red lipstick and bright white teeth in full effect. 

The No Sudden Move star is also wearing heeled boots that come to slightly below her knees, a Diesel handbag in a similar gray-ish shade, and a big ol’, puffy black coat that would likely cover her from neck to ankles, had she actually worn it closed, as most people would during the winter. Such is the fashionable life, I suppose. Who’s taking the time to create apparel out of accessories and then hiding the result under a coat? No one. That’s who.

I tell you what, if anything this woman knows how to keep herself in the public eye with her frocks and fripperies after her whirlwind romance with the “Donda” rapper. It was just about a week ago that Fox turned up at New York Fashion Week in a number of surprising items, including carrying a handbag that was essentially a human-sized doll which looked a lot like, well, a kinkily-dressed dead body with flowing blonde locks. 

I could never (mostly because I'd rather not reach into by bag for lip balm and have to root around until I reach the crotch, or a fingertip, or, worse, the bottom of a boot). But wouldn't life be pretty boring if everyone thought that way? I say Julia Fox should keep doing the Lord’s work to entertain us.

Kim Kardashian definitely gets a lot of flak from her hundreds of millions of Instagram followers. Whether it’s her fiery fashion choices or the strangest of PhotoShop fails, the reality TV queen has really opened up her life to public scrutiny. When it comes to questionable choices, however, The Kardashians star just got one-upped in a big way by another of Kanye West’s exes as Julia Fox stepped out carrying a human-sized handbag that looks eerily like her, and it is definitely a choice.

When I say “human-sized” handbag, that’s no exaggeration. Julia Fox’s Mikhael Kale creation stood 6 feet tall and weighed 3.5 pounds, per Page Six. The Uncut Gems actress reportedly lugged that “body bag” around Manhattan to close out New York Fashion Week. Take a look for yourself: 

With both the model and the bag dressed in black vinyl, it’s almost hard to tell where one stops and the other starts— particularly with the accessory sporting the same platform boots. I’d imagine Julia Fox turned quite a few heads while strolling around New York City, as she appeared to be carrying a corpse. 

This “bag” just proves that I’ll never really understand fashion, because I just have too many questions. For one, is it even functional? Did Julia Fox slip her wallet into the pocket of the doll’s pants? (That is of course a joke, because there’s no way those pants have pockets.) Is there a zipper down the back that reveals enough space to carry a cellphone, change of clothes or a small apartment’s worth of personal belongings? I love the way her blonde hair and arms droop down as the actress holds onto the strap on her side (love handle?). 

Honestly, the human-sized purse makes things like Kylie Jenner’s lion dress look tame and Kim Kardashian’s swim gloves seem downright sensible. However, it’s not the first time Julia Fox has shown off some daring fashion choices. Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend previously made a dress out of leaves she picked up around NYC — it’s amazing what you can do with a little foliage and a hot glue gun!

Julia Fox may be recognizable for her role in Adam Sandler’s Uncut Gems, but her celebrity got a big boost in early 2022, when she briefly dated Kanye West. While the new level of fame awarded her opportunities as an influencer, fashionista, designer and podcaster, she noted that acting offers actually decreased after she dated the rapper.

And yet, carrying a literal 6-foot body around New York may be her wildest stunt yet! Should we be intrigued or frightened to see which direction her fashion will go in next? While Barbiecore has been all the rage no matter what price point you are shopping in, there’s been one other fashion trend over the past year that’s been, perplexing, to say the least. Kim Kardashian’s rocked it. Her ex Kanye West’s other girlfriend Julia Fox rocked it. Salma Hayek’s even worn it. The trend is a popular one called pantashoes. But what the heck are pantashoes? 

Really the term pantashoes is vaguely self explanatory. You see a fashionista out in the wild and they seem to be wearing pants that bleed directly into their shoes. The look is Balenciaga’s creation and they go for a pretty penny, retailing for thousands of dollars, in fact. And they range from leggings with shoes ("pantaleggins) to waders + shoes and even athletic pants with shoes attached.

A History Of Kim Kardashian Sporting Pantashoes

Kim Kardashian’s relationship with Balenciago goes back a long time, to her early days of dating Kanye West, in fact. The mom of four went on a shopping spree with West early on in their dating timeline back in 2013. Years later, she was still supporting the brand as it entered its pantashoes phase. More recently, a controversy with a Balenciago ad campaign has caused her to reevalute her relationship with the fashion house, but she’s been seen many times in recent years in the iconic style. 

If you haven’t seen what the pantashoes look like out in a wild he’s a side look at The Kardashians star in the duds. 

During the pandemic, Kim also managed to rock out in two fashion trends at once. Her hot pink SNL outfit in 2021 both managed to encompass the Barbiecore trend and the pants-with-footwear trend in the same breath. 

In fact, Kim wore a lot of Balenciaga that year. She wore it as part as her famously covered Met Gala look. She wore it to her ex's show after her split with Kanye West. That’s changed more recently but its easy to see why pantashoes are a bit synonymous with Kim. She’s not the only big name to sport them though.

Kim may have had a previous relationship with Balenciaga, but just because she broke up with Kanye West doesn’t mean he’s on the outs with the brand. In fact, during his short-lived time with Julia Fox, she managed to rock out the Balenciaga look. (Likely sometime after Ye had her "packing up " her old life.)  She, however, did it with denim.

Salma Hayek Wore The Trend Even Earlier

But it turns out the trend of the pantashoes has been around much longer. In fact, Salma Hayek actually wore the look way back in 2017 when she wore a dress with pantashoes to an art event at the MET. That event, the “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons:Art of the In-Between' Costume Institute Gala featured the actress in a black dress and bright purple pantashoes. It was a very new and notable look at the time and while it didn’t necessarily catch fire right away, it’s worth noting the Magic Mike: The Last Dance star brought the trend to life even earlier. 

As noted prior, Kim Kardashian had maybe been the biggest advocate of the pants, but she actually re-evaluated her relationship with Balenciaga recently after an ad-campaign went awry. In it, kids were asked to hold BDSM teddy bears while photographs were taken of them, and the backlash against the photoshoot was loud enough the reality star even commented on it.

She eventually said she would reevaluate her relationship Balenciaga. Given some other celebrities have also dropped off, it's unclear if the pantashoes trend will continue into 2023 on celebrity red carpets, but there are some knockoff versions available for the non-rich and famous these days.

And those don't have a BDSM controversy attached to them. 

Every year, Google releases the most searched actors of the calendar year. The list often reflects pop culture touchstones, as well as rising stars gaining traction. This year, the top searches were unsurprising, as they reflected major events reported on by the media. Johnny Depp, who was engaged in a very public defamation trail with his ex-wife Amber Heard, topped the list at number one. He was followed by Will Smith, who became an object of much controversy when he slapped Chris Rock onstage at the Oscars. However, as we go further down the list, it is much more surprising. 

The first four slots were taken up by individuals involved in the controversies above, with Amber Heard and Chris Rock ranking respectively at #3 and #4. However, there were some definite surprising standouts. Stranger Things breakout star Joseph Quinn came at #6, while the rest of the cast remained off of the list. This was particularly surprising considering the actor’s character, Eddie Munson, only totaled about 42 minutes of total screen time throughout the entire season. However, Eddie is a stand-out amongst fans, so maybe his placement on the list is valid. 

Coming at #9 was Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller. While Teller certainly made waves this year, including becoming a fan favorite on TikTok and even hosting SNL, the actor was not the star, nor the most bankable actor in the blockbuster hit. Tom Cruise feels like a much more obvious actor for audiences to latch onto, yet Teller seems to have been the one to peak the interest of Google users. 

Another surprise addition is Ashley Judd, who came in at #10. The Emmy-nominated actress did not have a major starring role in a movie at all this year, but she did make an appearance as herself in the film She Said. The film follows the journalists who worked to investigate the allegations around Harvey Weinstein, sparking the #MeToo movement and a major Hollywood reckoning. Judd was at the forefront of the movement and worked to expose Weinstein, so it made sense for her to be included in the movie. 

The rest of the list includes Julia Fox, who dated Kanye West earlier this year and has since been very active on social media talking about the controversies; Jada Pinkett Smith, who was the subject of the joke Chris Rock made that prompted the slap; and Ezra Miller, whose various controversies, allegations directed against them and trouble with the law looms over the future of the DCEU. Kim Kardashian Says She Communicated With Kanye After Break-Up 

In a bombshell bit of information, The Kardashians star said that while she and her ex-husband were publicly feuding for some time. If you don’t remember this, Ye was trolling Kim’s then-boyfriend Pete Davidson for a time and that feud reached great heights. However, Kim said that the negativity and the silence was always on her ex’s part. In fact, she said even in her worst moments she reached out, revealing: 

Kim Kardashian said on Hulu's The Kardashians that Kanye tends to get rid of stuff when he is upset. She also said she’d been on a mission to retrieve some of this stuff, which is how their daughter North West ended up with a purple jacket owned by her dad. He allegedly just sold it and Kim was the one who tracked it down.

As for the Grammys, she said she was so worried he might do something drastic with him, she reached out and asked if she could add them to the family “vault.” (Yes, the Kardashian billionaire has her own underground vault, if you are interested in those details.) Anyway, she described: 

While Kim Kardashian has said she's been committed to working through their problems privately, another one of Ye’s exes is less interested in keeping intimate details private. In fact, Julia Fox recently claimed she decided to date West to “help” Kim. Now, she’ vividly talking about her ex's penis size.

Julia Fox’s NSFW Description Of Kanye’s Penis

Fox has been making the rounds recently – I mean really, Fox made a dress out of leaves that barely covered her “booty” for attention this week. She also popped up on Showtime’s Ziwe where she opened up about how she dated Kanye West because “the universe wanted it.” While Ziwe refrained from using the famous rapper’s name throughout the interview, she did ask a bold question about Ye’s penis size. Instead of answering with words, Fox chose to answer with a very vivid description.

Ziwe even captioned the moment “hate comes in all sizes.” A few weeks ago, Charlamagne the God claimed that Kanye once got into an argument with him about Pete Davidson’s reported penis size. Now this argument over Pete Davidson’s reported endowment is really taking on new meaning. 

Kanye doesn’t go long without garnering new headlines, but now I’m interested to hear whether or not any of his other famous exes have anything to say this week. Floor’s open, ladies. 

Uncut Gems’ Julia Fox had a short-lived romance with Kanye West earlier this year amidst the messy divorce between the "Gold Digger" singer and Kim Kardashian. Now, as West remains at the center of controversies in the wake of his inflammatory anti-Semitic comments, Fox is opening up about her relationship with the rapper. She took to social media to reflect on her thinking during that period of time and how Kardashian played a role in her thought process. 

The actress, who is very active on TikTok, posted a video about the early 2022 romance and how she didn’t witness any strange behavior from West when they first got together. She also explained the ties that she'd already had to the Kardashian family before she linked up with the Grammy-winning musician. The performer revealed: 

While that may have been a strange title for a song in the midst of a budding romance, it apparently wasn’t a deal-breaker for the starlet at that point. But things eventually took a bit of a turn when Kanye West kept texting her during one occasion. From there, the actress got an idea involving Kim Kardashian, who had likely moved on to dating comedian Pete Davidson around that the time. The social media influencer explained:

Things certainly changed over the course of their relationship, as Ye took to social media to attack Davidson for his relationship with Kim Kardashian. In addition, he made several comments on Instagram and Twitter about his ability to see his children, which Kardashian refuted, and expressed other frustrations regarding his divorce. West also attacked Kardashian’s family and continuously made private conflicts between the two public. Julia Fox claims that once the social media posts started, her relationship with West had been over though, based on her sentiments in the video, she still wanted to serve as a resource for the polarizing rapper:

As Internet commentators continue to examine and discuss her past relationship with Kanye West, Julia Fox certainly has expanded her social media presence in the months following their breakup, creating quite a following in the process. She's also dipped back into her fashion-roots, recently constructing a dress out of leaves. In addition, she's continuing to work as an actress and recently completed her work on the film Puppet. She's also set to star in The Trainer, a crime comedy helmed by American History X director Tony Kaye. Meanwhile, Kanye West has finally taken steps to finalize his divorce with Kim Kardashian, who has spoken out against her former beau's anti-Semitic comments and expressed support for the Jewish community. Everyone seems to have mostly moved on, but it's safe to say that they'll be forever linked.

I don’t know who you follow and/ or obsessively stalk on social media, but if the list doesn’t include Julia Fox, you need to do some soul-searching and figure out where things have gone wrong in your life. Now, let me clarify here for a second. She did not get inspired by leaves and then create a leaf-like dress. Julia Fox wandered around New York picking up actual leaves, brought them back to a studio and worked with Emma Fujiko, some resin, a hot glue gun and all the other supplies needed to make a dress. Obviously the end result is a stunner, though she says probably won’t be able to wear it in public because her “booty (is) all out in it.” Fortunately, she was kind enough to show it off extensively on TikTok. Near the end of the video, Julia Fox says, “anything can be clothes.” This is certainly evidence of that. It’s like she did a Project Runway unconventional materials challenge in real life, and she pulled it off in a real fun and polished way.

Her pulling this off shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who watches her TikTok videos. She’s all over the place with what she does and talks about, but there’s a semi-regular pattern of her taking on all kinds of projects. Whether it be making banana bread, drilling holes in her car to put on a license plate or fixing her clothes, she’s very willing to get her hands dirty on some DIY projects.

Of course, Julia Fox has spent the past several years attracting attention for far more than her dress-making exploits. And in her latest musing on the whirlwind romance, the star claimed that it hurt her career in one key way. 

Julia Fox seemed to enjoy her relationship with Kanye West, which reportedly began around January 2022 and ended by February. During that time, Fox received lavish gifts from the Grammy winner, including a completely new wardrobe. West and the Uncut Gems alum were also spotted taking in some pretty sweet (and expensive-looking) date nights during their time together. Ye’s relationship status was called into question this weekend when he was pictured seeing Top Gun: Maverick with a woman whom media outlets have identified as model Monica Corgan. Chaney Jones, meanwhile, wiped her Instagram, leaving just a couple of posts that inspired further speculation. After TMZ reportedly confirmed the breakup, Jones clapped back (per Page Six) in the comments of the post:

Kanye West celebrated his 45th birthday on June 8, and Chaney Jones paid tribute to the fashion icon with a montage of photos of the couple on her Instagram Stories with the words, “Happy birthday baby 🖤 I love youuuuu.” She also posted another video of the two of them in the car, laughing at the filter she was using.

TMZ reported that the couple started having issues after returning from their vacation to Japan — the same trip that caused Kanye West to miss his youngest child’s Incredible Hulk-themed birthday party. The site didn’t report who did the supposed breaking up, but the timing of the split, if indeed legit, would be a bit surprising, given that Chaney Jones just recently was photographed with a new tattoo that appears to be “Ye” inked on her wrist.

Ye started dating Chaney Jones after splitting with Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox. Back in February, Fox also disputed breakup rumors after she wiped her own Instagram account of photos of herself with the rapper. She had reportedly packed up her old life to be with Kanye, and resented those who thought she was clout-chasing. A few weeks after the denial, however, she addressed the former romance as not “sustainable,” saying it was too hard to fit his “really big personality” into her already full life.

At this point, the film appears to be in the development stage so viewers can expect to hear something about it in the future.

The only question now is whether his co-star Julia Fox is in the mix? Since appearing in the 2019 film, Fox has blown up through various means, including her short-lived relationship with Kanye West. It might be a while before the untitled film can come together. The SNL alum just wrapped up Murder Mystery 2 with Jennifer Aniston. He has more upcoming movies in 2022, including the sci-fi drama Spacemen and the sports drama Hustle. While his supposed “arrogance” may have cost him a well-deserved Oscar nomination, the film did push his career in a new direction.

After a controversial last season, the Real Housewives of New York is getting both the reboot and spinoff treatment from Bravo. But lately, she has become a mouthpiece of sorts for the rapper’s recent problems, and has had to refute criticism left and right that she was only in the relationship for fame. With all the publicity surrounding her name (and viral Uncut Jaahmz clip), one can easily understand why rumors started cropping up saying she might parlay the notoriety into a stint on the new Real Housewives of New York.

Alas, the bold choice is not entirely meant to be – yet. Not only is she in the midst of writing a book, but Real Housewives of New York production sources confirmed to TMZ that there haven’t been any official discussions between Julia Fox and Bravo brass about her becoming a main castmate. However, the head honchos are reportedly not ruling out the prospect as the official lineup gets figured out.

How Julia Fox Could Still End Up On Real Housewives

The door seems to ostensibly still  be open for the model and actress, but without the network having reached out yet. An interesting factor that can maybe help bridge that gap is Fox's personal connection to Real Housewives of New York alum Leah McSweeney. She was a main cast member for the last two seasons, along with being a notable fashion designer for her streetwear brand (that even Rihanna is known to wear). As it turns out, McSweeney knows Julia Fox pretty well.

As a guest on Julia Fox’ own Forbidden Fruits podcast back in November, the two reminisced about how the Real Housewives of New York star was actually Fox’s sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) many years ago. And evidently, they remain good friends to this day. I’m just spitballing here, of course, but all it could take is a little nudge from McSweeney to either Fox or Bravo – presuming she’s not salty about suddenly getting ousted – to help make the casting conversations happen. Perhaps that could even get McSweeney her old spot back, given how Andy Cohen had remarked that Eboni K. Williams and any of her actual friends would be considered.

But even if zero RHONY alum were involved, it's also possible that the widespread rumors and reactions to such could factor into Bravo execs' future decisions. If they see enough people online serving up positive chatter about Fox breaking into the world of Real Housewives, the unproven rumors could very well lead to something legitimate. 

All in all, a few famous faces have been known to turn up on the Real Housewives franchise, including Larsa Pippen and Kim Fields. So it’s not totally out of the question to imagine Julia Fox making the same move. If she does find herself on the New York reboot, well, it wouldn’t be the best news for Kanye West. He already has to deal with the Kardashians talking about him on their new project slated for release on Hulu’s subscription service.

Assuming you don’t live under a rock, you’re probably hyper-aware that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have created and endured some serious drama surrounding their divorce, even getting other celebrities involved in a very Marvel Civil War way. Kardashian has seemingly completely moved on with new boyfriend Pete Davidson, with West's short-lived romance with actress Julia Fox marking his biggest post-split relationship to date. Fox is now writing a book after the breakup with the “Gold Digger” rapper, and she is hyping it up by sharing her own pretty high opinion of the in-development quasi-memoir.

At the Vanity Fair afterparty that followed this year's rambunctious Oscar ceremony (via Variety), Julia Fox was asked about her upcoming book. While she doesn’t give too much detail about it, she does say that she feels it is a “masterpiece,” and seemingly without any irony. Here's how she put it below when asked about this "dream project":

There’s kind of a lot to unpack here, honestly. Julia Fox was, first of all, wearing a very distinct look that is as much of a visual masterpiece as anything. Sporting the heavy eye makeup she has become kind of known for, she rocked a black dress that featured a black hand accessory(?) running up her neck, creating the illusion she was being choked. Although out of the frame, the dress was accompanied by a handbag made of actual human hair. An odd choice that would typically mean a bold statement, although Fox claims she was just having fun with the night. If she can bring that kind of left-field unpredictability to the page, there's no reason to think her upcoming book won't be a bonkers ride. 

The look she was sporting was certainly intriguing, as was her new update for her book. Most people don’t call their own work a masterpiece, especially for a first effort in a given field. We love a girl with confidence, though, and the fact that she's already envisioning follow-ups is a sure sign of it.

Previously thought of as a memoir, possibly to center around her relationship with Kanye West, Julia Fox says that she no longer sees the book as memoir, but just as her first book. Julia Fox and Kanye West were only together for around 6 weeks in total, with a lot of that time spent apart due to their hectic schedules. If Fox’s creative endeavor does end up being about the time she spent as his girlfriend amid a pretty drama-filled time between West and Kim Kardashian, I would be quite impressed if managed to stretch that experience out to book-length. While their relationship will likely take up a smaller chunk of the text, I can’t even begin to imagine how many pages Kardashian could fill after around 10 years with the rapper.

An Instagram spokesperson told the outlet that Kanye West had in fact violated their user policies related to hate speech and harassment with his recent posts, such as referring to Trevor Noah by a South African racial slur and continuously provoking Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson. Reportedly, the company will consider further actions should West continue his threatning online behavior.

But apparently, Julia Fox doesn't think anyone should be as worried about Ye's posts and behavior. TMZ caught up with the actress coming out of what she called her “first workout of 2022” – in what looks like a full Matrix leather trench coat – and asked if she felt Kanye West was truly a threat to Kardashian, Davidson and others.  She responded frankly, saying,

It’s not unusual behavior for the 32-year-old mom to take up for her ex. In the past, besides going viral for comments about being a creative “muse” to Kanye West, Julia Fox had also claimed that their relationship wasn't sustainable because of his “big personality” and “jam-packed life.” As to whether Fox thinks West is a threat to himself, she told TMZ that she is “not really sure” at the moment, but that she was going to “give him a call” to find out.

Frequent concerns over Kanye West’s mental health state have surfaced all over again in the past few months, much like how they did surrounding his failed 2020 run for the United States presidency. Some spectators online view his criticisms about Kim Kardashian’s handling of custody arrangements for their children and his ever-present feud with Pete Davidson – which now includes an intense leaked text exchange and the rapper declaring “civil war” on the comedian – as clear harassment. Others, much like Julia Fox, would argue that he’s just expressing himself as he always has.

Julia Fox has frankly denied accusations that she dated Kanye West for the notoriety that follows him on and off of social media. But now that she’s single and free herself, she has a message for the public about dating again: “My DMs are open!” As for West, stay tuned for what the rapper’s next move will be when his suspension lifts.

You’d think on Valentine’s Day he might want to share a post of himself and new gal Julia Fox, but things have been seemingly cooling on that front for a while. Speaking of rumors swirling, she even had to address allegations that she’d been crying in the airport, though she handled those fairly flippantly.

The rapper expressed on social media multiple frustrations over his and Kim Kardashian’s co-parenting situation, first regarding his oldest daughter North’s TikTok account, and then apparently not being invited to Chicago’s birthday party. Ye also posted about other incidents, which allegedly involved security following him around his son and having to take a drug test. 

Kanye West deleted multiple social media posts that included accusations against Kim Kardashian, but on February 9 seemed to issue another plea to his estranged wife on Instagram, posting a photo from her Vogue cover story with the caption: 

Julia Fox hasn’t addressed Kanye West’s social media posts specifically, but she sparked breakup rumors over the weekend when she deleted multiple photos of her and Ye from her Instagram account and unfollowed Kardashian fan accounts. However, the actress responded in her Instagram Stories that she got tired of seeing herself and reading nasty comments. 

The Uncut Gems actress doesn’t seem to be concerned about Kim Kardashian and instead is just living in the moment. Julia Fox said on the podcast that she’s not sure what the future holds for her and Ye, and right now they’re just having fun and being spontaneous.

It appears all is still well between her Kanye West, even as tensions continue to rise between him and soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Kardashian. West spoke out on social media with a list of accusations against his ex, claiming he was not invited to daughter Chicago’s birthday party and was escorted by security while playing with his son. He even accused Kardashian of making him take a drug test, and not allowing him to take his children to a basketball game in Chicago. 

Page Six and other media sources also reported that in another post, the rapper said Kim Kardashian accused him of putting a hit out on her. Ye has since deleted all of his Instagram posts from the past week.

This was just the latest in the always-dramatic world of Ye, as he also recently purchased the house across the street from the SKIMS founder — which the famous family definitely had thoughts about. This all comes just ahead of the release of his Netflix docuseries jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, which he recently (and publicly) demanded to have the final edit on. 

Suffice it to say, Julia Fox met Kanye West at a very strange time in his life, and I wish her the best and hope she's ready, because that public scrutiny likely isn’t going anywhere.

The dating life of rapper Kanye West has created some confusion as of late. One minute he's making serious attempts on Thanksgiving to save his marriage with Kim Kardashian, and the next minute he's doing photoshoots on first dates with Julia Fox. Interestingly, their romance has appeared to take things up a notch, as the actress is "packing up" her old life to be with Ye. And of course, this is all happening in tandem Kardashian’s supposed relationship with SNL alum Pete Davidson getting serious. As for Fox’s own motivation, speculation has it that she's dating West only for the fame it brings, but the actress is clapping back at the claims.

Truth be told, Julia Fox was relatively unknown until her role in the Safdie Brothers’ acclaimed 2019 film, Uncut Gems. She made quite an impression, though, as the mistress to Adam Sandler’s character and even was nominated for Breakthrough Actor at the Gotham Awards that year. Given her rise to distinction, accusations continue to swirl that she is trying to capitalize on Kanye West's notorious fame to increase her own. Yet on her Forbidden Fruits podcast, the actress got frank about what she really cares about, saying:

It would appear, then, that the two stars have more things in common than was previously believed. One being that they both, apparently, have a history of dating billionaires. (Kim Kardashian in fact earned the coveted status last year.) The two also seemingly share a passion for their artistic endeavors. Before Uncut Gems brought her notoriety, the actress in fact had created her own clothing line, two photography books and several art exhibits in New York City (with one said to have been painted in her own blood).

Likewise, Kanye West has been known to channel his emotional process through performance art and music over the years (previously with the help of his ex-wife). The upcoming documentary, Jeen-Yuhs, about his own rise to fame has hit a snag recently – because West demanded on social media that he get final edit over Netflix. The rapper has also taken out his frustrations lately concerning both Kim Kardashian and new beau Pete Davidson in a diss track, which also made a subtle reference to Julia Fox.

The rapper might want to be wary, however, because Pete Davidson has a few famous friends of his own. But reportedly, Davidson himself finds the hoopla all too amusing. This shouldn't surprise anyone, considering how the comedian once deemed a joke about his dad's death on 9/11 as “dope.”

So likely, Pete Davidson is indeed getting a kick out of riling up Kanye West into a rage. One thing for sure, though, is that Julia Fox is totally unbothered about what gets said about her part in all of it.

Over the last several months, Kanye West (now legally known as Ye) has made a number of public appeals to his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. Though the reality TV star has filed a petition to be declared single, West has been opening up about past mistakes he believes he’s made. He’s also declared his desire to get his family back together. However, the rapper has still been seeing other people and recently began dating Julia Fox, who famously starred alongside Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems. Fox and West already seem to be getting serious, and the actress is now opening up about how she’s been “packing up” her old life to be with her beau. 

Julia Fox was first linked to Kanye West earlier this year, when they were spotted hanging out in Miami. At the time, Fox mentioned that she wasn’t sure if she’d be seeing the rapper again, and sources initially alleged that the two weren’t serious. Fast forward to a few weeks later, and Fox is now telling Interview Magazine that she’s truly entered Ye’s world. While speaking to the news outlet, she even revealed one of the first steps in her “transformation,” which involved her clothing:

The situation she describes may seem familiar to some, and there’s a reason for that. Back in 2018, Kim Kardashian revealed to W Magazine that Ye cleaned out her whole closet. She illustrated the intensity of her then-husband’s method by stating that she originally owned 250 pairs of shoes but was only left with two when she was done. Though she was brought to tears, she “wanted to learn” about fashion from him. Believe it or not, she actually accepted a fashion icon award last year and gave West some kind words during her speech. Still, the road to getting there seems to have been rough.

Julia Fox seems to be handling it a bit better, though, as she’s enjoying life with her new boyfriend. Ahead of linking up with the “Eazy” rapper, Fox married Peter Artemiev, before the two reportedly separated in 2020. Fox called out Artemiev in December for allegedly abandoning her and their five-month-old son and referred to him as a “dead beat dad.” In the same conversation with Interview Magazine, she explained how her experience with Kanye West has differed at this point:

The actress has been incredibly candid about her new relationship and the fact that she’s also a major fan of the Kardashians. One would think this might be a bit awkward for Kim, but she’s reportedly fine with the star’s fandom. Kardashian allegedly believed that it could help make co-parenting easier, though her estranged husband’s recent comments on that very subject are still said to be making her unhappy. 

But all the while, it looks like life is golden for new couple Kanye West and Julia Fox. There’s honestly no telling how the relationship will progress, especially given West’s notoriously domineering tendencies. But hey, based on Fox’s comments, maybe that’ll actually be a plus in his most recent romance.

After Kim Kardashian apparently moved on with Pete Davidson, Kanye West took a page out of her book and started hanging out around town with Julia Fox. The Uncut Gems actress has long been a self-proclaimed "die-hard" fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Kim seems to be totally fine with that. In fact, the reality star and business mogul is reportedly sending nothing but positive vibes their way. 

It's interesting to hear that Kim Kardashian holds absolutely no animosity towards Julia Fox, even though the latter is an "OG" fan of the show that made the Kardashian family household names. But according to TMZ’s sources, if anything, Kardashian thinks that Fox’s fan reverence will make it easier for the former spouses to co-parent. 

The SKIMS founder has previously stated that she only wants Kanye West to be happy and "end up with a good person." And if that person is already a fan of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, then that’s surely even better. The actress initially admitted to being a fan during an episode of her podcast, Forbidden Fruits, alongside co-host Niki Takesh. Additionally, she’s made her love known on social media platforms like Instagram by reposting Kim's stories. 

If Kim Kardashian's alleged feelings on Julia Fox's adoration turn out to be true, then it would indeed be very good for her and Kanye West. However, despite their ups and downs, both seem to be maintaing a firm relationship already. The high-profile duo have four kids together - North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago - and, despite their split, have frequently been spotted on family outings. Kardashian has also supported her former partner by appearing at release events for his latest album, Donda, and even gave him a shout-out when she accepted the Fashion Icon statuette at the most recent People’s Choice Awards. 

Of course, this could all become a moot point if Kanye West's new relationship begins to fizzle. In the past year, Kanye West has been connected to models Irina Shayk and Vinetria. Both romances were fairly short-lived, and West began dating Fox shortly after he ended things with the latter. 

Amid his reported relationships, the rapper has also been repeatedly petitioning Kim Kardashian to reconsider their divorce and even bought a house across the street from her current abode, which could make for some awkward trips to the mailbox. However, reports have claimed his move was an attempt to be closer to his children, which lends credence to the co-parenting theory. Either way, it looks like Julia Fox could be up close and personal with her favorite reality stars sooner rather than later.

As the weeks were winding down in 2021, Kanye West was making a seriously public effort to win back his wife, Kim Kardashian. He even copped to all his wrongdoings and mistakes in their relationship that led to her filing for divorce in February. However, the rapper has also (in the same timeframe) been linked to not one, not two but three women. His latest romance just recently started but, not-so-surprisingly, West still apparently has feelings about Kardashian and her new beau (Pete Davidson) getting more serious.

Ever since Kim Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live in October, she's been seen more than once with Pete Davidson. But the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and SNL alum were in fact spotted together on what looked like a nice vacation in the Bahamas earlier this week, per Entertainment Tonight. Meanwhile, Kanye West has been casually seeing Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox. Yet a source for ET suggested that West is a little torn on his feelings at the moment. They said:

Distracted would be putting it mildly. Coincidentally, not long after news of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s Bahama trip broke, Ye and Julia Fox have apparently taken their own romance to new heights. (Or maybe they’re just punking us.) Fox shared to Interview Magazine that they had “an instant connection” and “decided to keep the energy going.” The actress said that on their second date West brought her to a hotel suite filled to the brim with clothes, which she called a “real Cinderella moment.” The rapper also “directed an entire photoshoot” during their date. Honestly, though, Kanye West being hung up on the SKIMS founder like he claims (despite already dating other people himself) is giving serious Scott Disick/Kourtney Kardashian vibes. The latter two also had a long-standing relationship that fizzled out. And Disick has likewise never been shy about his attachment to Kardashian, even while he was dating others. Heck, he's even been frank about it amidst Kourtney herself dating/now engaged to others.

Nevertheless, Scott Disick is apparently playing it just as cool about Kim Kardashian's new relationship as Kanye West is. Kardashian hasn't yet officially shared about the goings-ons with Pete Davidson, and Andy Cohen couldn't get momager Kris Jenner to spill the tea on New Year's Eve, either. So it would seem then that Kardashian is focusing her attention on pushing her divorce ahead and perhaps feeling out the new romantic dynamic as it evolves.

All in all, it seems the infamous reality TV family is moving on in all sorts of surprising directions. Hopefully, Kimye developments, along with other family drama, are documented for prosperity (and my sake) in their upcoming, mysterious Hulu show, revealed to simply be called The Kardashians.

Kanye West has been a busy man over the past several months. After spending the latter part of 2021 promoting his new album, the rapper went on a crusade of sorts in an attempt to salvage his marriage to his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. West has been incredibly vocal about his desire to get his wife back, even admitting to past mistakes in a candid Thanksgiving prayer. And just recently, he purchased a house in her neighborhood, a move that the Kardashian family (sans Kim) thinks is “a little bit weird.” Despite his apparent attempts to repair his relationship, though, it would appear that he’s settling into the single life, as he was spotted with one of Adam Sandler’s former co-stars. 

The musician was seen hanging out with Julia Fox, who starred alongside Adam Sandler in the critically acclaimed film Uncut Gems. TMZ reports that the two were hanging out in Miami, where they had a date night at Carbone restaurant. At this time, the site’s sources allege that there’s nothing serious going on between the two. Fox even subsequently told Page Six that she doesn’t know if she and Ye will be going out again. 

Like the rapper, Julia Fox has been going through some relationship drama herself as of late. During the holidays, the actress called out her husband, Peter Artemiev, for allegedly being a “dead beat dad.” She also alleged that he left her and their five-month-old son, Valentino, and a number of expenses. Artemiev has since denied the claims, calling his wife’s accusations “utterly false statements.”

Meanwhile, Kanye West has been linked to a few other women since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce back in February 2021. He was first linked to model Irina Shayk last June, though the two reportedly broke up by August. West was later said to be dating 22-year-old Instagram model Vinetria, before they also split in December. 

These reported flings, admittedly, are surprising, given the Grammy winner’s recent appeals to his estranged spouse. In recent months, he’s claimed that there are people in his wife’s ear, who are telling her to leave him. He’s even asserted that he has yet to see any divorce paperwork. 

However, Kim Kardashian is indeed serious about moving on with her life. The reality TV star recently filed a petition in court to be declared legally single. In her filing, Kardashian stated that “irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist” between her and the father of her four children. She also stated her belief that both she and her former partner “deserve the opportunity to build new lives.” And the SKIMS founder seems to be attempting to do just that, as she’s reportedly dating Pete Davidson.

Based on all of that, maybe Kanye West is indeed ready to finally move towards a new chapter in his life. Then again, it’s honestly hard to say with the eccentric fashion mogul, as he might not be done trying to get his wife back. Honestly, I’ll be curious to see how things play out with the divorce proceedings and whether he manages to find a serious new love.

As Curt Goynes, a small-time criminal looking to get his life together following a stint in prison, Don Cheadle plays the main character in No Sudden Move. Previously, Cheadle was Basher Tarr in Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's trilogy. He also appeared in Traffic and Out of Sight. Additionally, Cheadle gave an Oscar-nominated lead performance in Hotel Rwanda. He also plays James Rhodes/War Machine in several Marvel movies, starting with Iron Man 2. Furthermore, Cheadle's other film credits include Crash, Boogie Nights, Rush Hour 2, Devil in a Blue Dress, Bulworth, Flight, Traitor, Reign Over Me, and The Guard. He also wrote, produced, directed, and played Miles Davis in Miles Ahead.

Outside of film, Don Cheadle starred in Showtime's House of Lies. Currently, he leads Showtime's Black Monday. Additionally, Cheadle was in the main cast of CBS's Picket Fences. Next, Cheadle will appear in Space Jam: A New Legacy. He'll also reprise his role as War Machine in Disney+'s Armor Wars.

Benicio Del Toro (Ronald Russo)

In the role of Ronald Russo, a petty criminal hired to "babysit" the Wertz family, Benicio Del Toro robs the spotlight in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Del Toro won an Oscar for his portrayal of Javier Rodriguez in Soderbergh's Traffic. He was also Oscar-nominated for his supporting turn in 21 Grams. Additionally, Del Toro starred in Soderbergh's Che and he appeared in The Wolfman, The Usual Suspects, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Basquiat, Sin City, Swimming with Sharks, Inherent Vice, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Savages, The Hunted, The Way of the Gun, Snatch, Escobar: Paradise Lost, Fearless, and the Sicario movies. Furthermore, Del Toro plays The Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Infinity War.

Away from film, Benicio Del Toro was Emmy-nominated for his starring role in Showtime's Escape at Dannemora. He also starred in NBC's mini-series, Drug Wars: The Camarena Story. Next, he'll appear in The French Dispatch and All-Star Weekend.

David Harbour (Matt Wertz)

Playing the part of Matt Wertz, a mid-level General Motors executive, David Harbour is a man who's in over his head in HBO Max's No Sudden Move. Most notably, the television actor is known for his Emmy-nominated performance as Jim Hopper in the cast of Netflix's Stranger Things. He also played recurring roles in The Newsroom, Manhattan, and State of Affairs. Additionally, Harbour's other TV credits include Banshee, Law & Order, Lie to Me, The Unit, Elementary, Drunk History, Law & Order: SVU, and Crisis in Six Scenes.

Away from television, David Harbour played the titular hellspawn in 2019's Hellboy. He also starred in Netflix's Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein. Additionally, Harbour is seen in Brokeback Mountain, Quantum of Solace, Black Mass, Suicide Squad, The Green Hornet, State of Play, Kinsey, War of the Worlds, Revolutionary Road, End of Watch, The Equalizer, and A Walk Among The Tombstones. Jon Hamm (Detective Joe Finney)

As Detective Joe Finney, a determined gumshoe for the organized crime division, Jon Hamm plays a looming private eye in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Hamm is an Emmy-winner thanks to his mesmerizing performance as Don Draper in AMC's Mad Men. Additionally, the television actor starred in Sky Arts' A Young Doctors' Notebook and Lifetime's The Division. Hamm played recurring roles in 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, Children's Hospital, The Unit, and Good Omens.

Meanwhile, away from the tube, Jon Hamm was the star of Million Dollar Arm, Beirut, Aardvark, Tag, Marjorie Prime, and Keeping Up with the Joneses. Additionally, the actor provided notable supporting turns in Bridesmaids, Baby Driver, The Town, Bad Times at the El Royale, Richard Jewell, Lucy in the Sky, Sucker Punch, Space Cowboys, Kissing Jessica Stein, We Were Soldiers, and The Day the Earth Stood Still. Amy Seimetz (Mary Wertz)

In the role of Mary Wertz, Matt's wife, Amy Seimetz plays a notable supporting part in HBO Max's No Sudden Move. As an actress, Seimetz starred in The Off Hours, Upstream Color, Pet Sematary (2019), Alexander the Last, and A Horrible Way to Die. She can also be seen in Alien Covenant, You're Next, My Days of Mercy, Entertainment, Lucky Them, The Sacrament, Tiny Furniture, and Wristercutters: A Love Story. Additionally, on television, Seimetz played Danette Leeds in AMC's The Killing. She also provided a recurring role in Epix's Get Shorty. Outside of acting, Amy Seimetz is the co-creator, co-writer, and co-director of Starz's The Girlfriend Experience, based on Steven Soderbergh's film of the same name. She also directed episodes of Atlanta. Additionally, Seimetz wrote, produced, and directed Sun Don't Shine and 2020's She Dies Tomorrow.

Brendan Fraser (Jones)

Playing the part of Jones, a gangland middleman, Brendan Fraser is a suited-up, buttoned-down go-between in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Fraser starred in The Mummy trilogy and played the title character in George of the Jungle. His other notable starring roles include Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Bedazzled, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Encino Man, Blast from the Past, Dudley Do-Right, and Monkeybone. He also starred in School Ties, The Scout, The Quiet American, Furry Vengeance, Extraordinary Measures, and Airheads. Additionally, Fraser can be seen in Gods and Monsters, Crash, With Honors, Gimme Shelter, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

Additionally, on TV, Brendan Fraser stars in HBO Max's Doom Patrol. Also, in 2020, the actor appeared in Professionals. Over the years, Fraser provided recurring roles in The Affair, Texas Rising, Trust, Condor, and Scrubs. He can also be seen in Fallen Angels and Nightcap. Kieran Culkin (Charley)

As Charley, a spunky cohort, Kieran Culkin plays a spirited supporting character in No Sudden Move. Most notably, Culkin plays Roman Roy in HBO's Succession, for which he was Emmy-nominated. Previously, the television actor played Rye Gerhardt in FX's Fargo Season 2. Additionally, Culkin led NBC's short-lived Go Fish, and he appeared in NBC's The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns.

Outside of television, Kieran Culkin played Jason "Igby" Slocumb, Jr. in Igby Goes Down. He also played Wallace Wells in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Fuller McCallister in the Home Alone films, and Matty Banks in the Father of the Bride movies. His other film credits include It Runs in the Family, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, She's All That, Lymelife, Wiener-Dog, Movie 43, Margaret, The Cider House Rules, and The Mighty. Recently, Culkin reprised his role as Matty Banks in Father of the Bride, Part 3(ish).

Noah Jupe (Matthew Wertz)

In the role of Matthew Wertz, Matthew and Mary's son, Noah Jupe plays a concerned young character in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Jupe starred in Honey Boy and Suburbicon. He also played Marcus Abbott in A Quiet Place and this year's A Quiet Place Part II. Jupe's other film credits include Ford v Ferrari, Holmes & Watson, Wonder, The Titan, The Man with the Iron Heart, and That Good Night.

Additionally, on television, Noah Jupe appeared in The Night Manager, Houdini & Doyle, Downton Abbey, and Penny Dreadful. Also, Jupe played Henry Fraser in HBO's The Undoing last year. Furthermore, the child actor appeared in The Last Dragonslayer, A Song for Jenny, Ian Brown's "From Chaos to Harmony" music video, and 2017's short film, My Pretty Pony. Next, Jupe will be heard in Netflix's The Magician's Elephant.

Craig muMs Grant (Jimmy)

Playing the part of Jimmy, Curt's straightforward contact, Craig muMs Grant is posthumously seen in HBO Max's No Sudden Move, which is dedicated in his memory. Also known as muMs the Schemer, Grant was Arnold "Poet" Jackson in HBO's Oz. He also played recurring roles in Boston Legal, She's Gotta Have It, Horace and Pete, and Hightown. Additionally, Grant performed as a poet on Def Comedy Jam. His other TV credits include The Sopranos, Chapelle's Show, Cold Case, Luke Cage, The Last O.G., and Bull. Also, Grant appeared in High Maintenance, City on a Hall, NCIS: New Orleans, Nurse Jackie, Blue Bloods, Law & Order: SVU, and Steven Soderbergh's The Knick.

Outside of television, Craig muMs Grant was seen in Steven Soderbergh's Side Effects. He also appeared in Birdman, Bamboozled, Bringing Out the Dead, Good Time, The Price, The Brooklyn Heist, BlacKkKlansman, and Monsters and Men. Grant is also heard in several video games. Furthermore, he's seen in the 1998 documentary, SlamNation. In March, the actor passed away following complications with diabetes. He was 52.

Julia Fox (Vanessa Capelli)

As Vanessa Capelli, Frank's wife, Julia Fox plays a notable supporting role in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Fox made her film debut in Benny and Josh Safdie's Uncut Gems. Following this movie's success, the actress starred in last year's PVT CHAT. She also appeared in short films like 2018's The Great American Mud Wrestle and 2020's Paradise. Additionally, Fox could be seen in Puppet, Day by Day, and the music video for "Nothing Good," by Goody Grace ft. G-Eazy and Juicy J. Outside of acting, the standout supporting player was established as a clothing designer, model, painter, and photographer. Also, Fox wrote and directed the short film, Fantasy Girls.

Frankie Shaw (Paula)

In the role of Paula, Forbert's secretary, Frankie Shaw is a notable supporting character in HBO Max's No Sudden Move. Most notably, Shaw created, wrote, directed, produced, and starred in Showtime's SMILF, based on her autobiographical 2015 short film. The TV actress also wrote, directed, produced, and starred in 2015's short film, Too Legit.

Additionally, Frankie Shaw played Shayla Nico in USA Network's Mr. Robot and Mary Jo Cacciatore in Spike TV's Blue Mountain State. She also had a main part in ABC's Mixology and recurring roles in Homecoming, Good Girls Revolt, and Flaked. Her other TV credits include Law & Order, 2 Broke Girls, Drunk History, Hello Ladies, Mulaney, Glory Daze, The Bedford Diaries, and CSI: NY. Furthermore, the actress starred in Kevin Smith's online-only Hollyweed pilot. Away from TV, Shaw reprised her role as Mary Jo Cacciatore in the Kickstarter-funded Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland. Ray Liotta (Frank Capelli)

Playing the part of Frank Capelli, a tough-nut mobster, Ray Liotta is a mean-mugging supporting character in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. As one of the most acclaimed and meme-ified movies of 2019, Uncut Gems was a great critical and commercial hit for Adam Sandler, writers-directors Benny & Josh Safdie, and the studio behind it, A24. While the movie didn't receive a lot of love at the Oscars, particularly with Sandler getting egregiously snubbed, the drama certainly found an audience, proving to viewers who typically associate the comedian with his outlandish larks that he had serious acting chops. Now that it's been nearly a year since the movie's notable release, what is the Uncut Gems cast, which also includes LaKeith Stanfield, Julia Fox, Idina Menzel, Judd Hirsch, and Kevin Garnett, working on now?

Adam Sandler (Howard Ratner)

As Howard Ratner, a Diamond District jeweler with hefty gambling debts, Adam Sandler gave arguably the best performance of his career in Uncut Gems. Having established his star power on Saturday Night Live, he went on to make a series of profitable (if not always critically celebrated) comedies, including Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, and 50 First Dates, as well as Click, Grown Ups 1 & 2, and Just Go With It. He also lends his voice to the Hotel Transylvania movies. Additionally, Sandler garnered praise for his performances in Punch-Drunk Love, Funny People, and The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected). Additionally, the actor/producer grew his fanbase through several Netflix originals, with Murder Mystery being the most heavily-streamed title of these collaborations.

Most recently, Adam Sandler co-wrote and starred in the 2020 Netflix horror-comedy, Hubie Halloween, the latest Happy Madison production. He also reunited with the Safdie brothers earlier this year for the short film, Goldman v Silverman. Currently, Sander is filming a role in Netflix's upcoming sports film, Hustle, from director Jeremiah Zagar (We the Animals). He's also set to reprise his role as Dracula in Hotel Transylvania 4. And the comedian might also make Murder Mystery 2, notably since he's signed on to keep working with Netflix for the foreseeable future.

Julia Fox (Julia De Fiore)

In the role of Julia De Fiore, Howard's girlfriend and employee, Julia Fox provided a stunning breakthrough performance in Uncut Gems. But as a clothing designer, model, painter, and photographer prior to this film debut, Fox was already an established artist. Following her work in this superb film, Fox was seen in Puppet and the TV series, Day by Day. She also stars in PVT Chat, which is currently in the film festival circuits. Additionally, Fox starred in the music video for "Nothing Good," by Goody Grace ft. G-Eazy and Juicy J. Recently, the burgeoning actress filmed a role in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move, which will be her high-profile follow-up to this Safdie brothers' hit.

Outside of acting, Julia Fox wrote and directed the short film, Fantasy Girls.

LaKeith Stanfield (Demany)

As Demany, Howard's constantly pestered assistant, LaKeith Stanfield provides another standout supporting turn in Uncut Gems. First gaining recognition for his outstanding Independent Spirit Award-nominated performance in Short Term 12, Stanfield continued to find notice and praise for his other supporting turns in Selma, Straight Outta Compton, Get Out, Dope, and Knives Out, as well as his leading roles in Sorry to Bother You and Crown Heights. He also stars in FX's acclaimed Atlanta. Other notable credits include Death Note, Snowden, The Purge: Anarchy, and The Girl in the Spider's Web.

Earlier this year, LaKeith Stanfield starred in The Photograph and did voice work for the final season of BoJack Horseman. Additionally, Stanfield filled in as co-host for Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show Season 5. Next, he'll play William O'Neal in Judas and the Black Messiah. Currently, the in-demand actor is filming a role in the dramatic western, The Harder They Fall, and he'll also voice the lead character in Netflix's upcoming anime series, Yasuke.

Kevin Garnett (Himself)

Playing a fictionalized version of himself, former professional basketball player Kevin Garnett made a good impression with Uncut Gems. Thanks to his versatility, defensive ability, and impressive work ethic, the athlete was considered one of the greatest power forwards in professional basketball history. Garnett played with the Minnesota Timberwolves for 12 seasons before he joined the Boston Celtics, resulting in the team winning the NBA Championship. Later, he joined the Brooklyn Nets before returning to Minnesota and then retiring from the sport in 2016.

While Kevin Garnett impressed many moviegoers and critics with his performance, it wasn't his first time acting. He previously had an uncredited role in Blue Chips and he played the late Wilt Chamberlain in the 1996 TV movie, Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault.

Despite Uncut Gems' critical success, Kevin Garnett doesn't have any additional acting projects currently lined up.

Idina Menzel (Dinah Ratner)

In the role of Dinah Ratner, Howard's exasperated wife, Idina Menzel showcased her exceptional dramatic talents once more in Uncut Gems. A Tony-winning actress and musician, Menzel is best known for her award-winning Broadway performance in Wicked, as well as her celebrated work in Rent, including the 2005 film adaptation, and If/Then. She's also well-known for voicing Queen Elsa in Frozen and Frozen II. Her other notable film and TV credits include Enchanted, Glee, Kissing Jessica Stein, Ask the Dust, Hercules, Private Practice, Rescue Me, and Lifetime's Beaches remake. The actress also reprised the role of Elsa in Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Next, Idina Menzel is expected to star in an upcoming modernized musical version of Cinderella, starring Camila Cabella, which is scheduled to come out early next year. There's also the long-promised film adaptation of Wicked, which may or may not find the actress returning to her star-making role.

Eric Bogosian (Arno Moradian)

As Arno Moradian, a menacing loan shark out to collect Howard's well-overdue tab, Eric Bogosian provided a very threatening role in Uncut Gems. An accomplished playwright and novelist in addition to being an accomplished actor, Bogosian is best known for writing plays like Talk Radio and subUrbia, both of which have received film adaptations. Oliver Stone directed the former in 1988, with Bogosian playing the lead role, while Richard Linklater brought the latter to the big screen in 1996, with Bogosian penning the screenplay.

As an actor, meanwhile, Eric Bogosian starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and he also appeared in Billions, The Get Down, The Good Wife, The Larry Sanders Show, and Scrubs. His other famous film credits include Deconstructing Harry, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Special Effects, Under Seige 2: Dark Territory, and Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, as well as Igby Goes Down, Blade: Trinity, and Cadillac Records. He also narrated Listen Up, Philip.

Most recently, Eric Bogosian appeared in HBO's Succession and an episode of Instinct.

Judd Hirsch (Gooey)

In the role of Gooey, Howard's father-in-law, Judd Hirsch played a small-but-noteworthy part in Uncut Gems. A two-time Emmy and Tony-winning actor, Hirsch is best known for his extensive TV work in Taxi, Numb3rs, and Dear John, as well as his noteworthy roles in Ordinary People, for which he was Oscar-nominated, Independence Day, Independence Day: Resurgence, Teachers, Running on Empty, Tower Heist, The Muppets, and A Beautiful Mind. He also previously collaborated with Adam Sandler on The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected). Recently, Hirsch starred in CBS' sitcom, Superior Donuts, which ran for two seasons. Prior to that, he was a series regular on ABC's Forever, which only lasted one season.

Earlier this year, Judd Hirsch was seen in the horror film, A Deadly Legend, as well as episodes of Hunters, God Friended Me, and The Return of Brian Willing.

Keith Williams Richard (Phil)

Playing the part of Phil, Arno's quick-tempered henchman, Keith Williams Richard fit the bill as a large and imposing supporting character in Uncut Gems. In addition to making a memorable appearance in this awards contender, he also made his acting debut. After this cinematic introduction, Richard starred in the short film, Three Deaths, earlier this year.

Jonathan Aranbayev (Eddie Ratner)

As Eddie Ratner, Howard's oldest son, Jonathan Aranbayev made his screen debut in Uncut Gems. And to date, this role remains his only professional film credit. His follow-up project hasn't been announced yet.

Noa Fisher (Marchel Ratner)

In the role of Marchel Ratner, Howard's disengaged daughter, Noa Fisher plays a prominent supporting character in Uncut Gems. This indie drama-thriller became the young actress's first screen credit, serving as a promising start to a hopefully burgeoning career. Earlier this year, Fisher starred in the short film, Let's Do Drugs, as well as episodes of Betty and Day by Day.

Jacob Igielski (Beni Ratner)

Playing the part of Beni Ratner, Howard's youngest son, Jacob Igielski received his biggest role to date in Uncut Gems, notably as he made his feature film debut. Prior to this performance, the child actor was seen in short films like 2013's Opening Night and 2016's Fidelio. Also, Igielski appeared in an episode of Netflix's Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. Next, he stars in the horror film, Mother, from writer-director Michael Morrissey.

The Weeknd (Himself)

In the role he was born to play, The Weeknd plays a fictionalized version of himself in Uncut Gems. The Canadian R&B artist started his career in 2010 when he uploaded songs to YouTube. Following a series of mixtapes, he released his debut studio album, Kiss Land, in 2013. He followed that up with 2015's Beauty Behind the Madness, which was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammys. 2016's Starboy won Best Urban Contemporary Album and became the artist's biggest success to date. Earlier this year, The Weeknd released his fourth studio album, After Hours, to wide acclaim. In addition to these achievements, The Weeknd is also an Oscar-nominated musician for his single, "Earned It," which was featured in Fifty Shades of Grey.

Earlier this year, The Weeknd expand his acting resume to include voice work in episodes of Robot Chicken and American Dad!, the latter of which he also helped write.

Mike Francesa (Gary)

In a rare acting turn, sports radio personality Mike Francesa played a small-but-crucial role as Gary, Howard's befuddled bookie. Much like several other performers in the film, Francesa made his feature debut in Uncut Gems. His only other acting credit was in John Leguizamo's 2003 TV movie, Undefeated, wherein he made a cameo as himself. While Francesa hasn't established himself as an actor, his voice is certainly well-known. His WFAN show, Mike and the Mad Dog, which he hosted with Chris Russo, ran from 1989 to 2008 and it was considered one of the most successful talk radio programs in American history. After that, he hosted Mike's On: Francesa on the FAN through 2017. From there, Francesa would return on-and-off in short-form segments over the next couple years.

Mike Francesa doesn't have any future acting credits lined up presently. He retired from radio for the third time back in July to spend more time with his family.

Spoilers for Adam Sandler’s latest movie Uncut Gems can be found through this entire article. Literally, stuff about the ending will be all over.

In Uncut Gems, newcomer actress Julia Fox plays a character (also named Julia) who is in the throes of a passionate relationship with her boss Howard Ratner, played by Adam Sandler. Ratner is divorcing his wife and keeps an apartment with his mistress Julia. As the movie continues on, she becomes more and more prominent and winds up a key part of Uncut Gems’ ending. However, it almost didn’t happen that way.

In a recent interview, Julia Fox described how a lot of the stuff near the end of the movie was added late in the game. When asked about how she is “essentially the co-lead” by the end of Uncut Gems, Fox said:

Speaking to Slashfilm, the actress told the outlet that it was actually an A24 note to increase Julia’s ending in Uncut Gems. The additional scenes give some closure to the big bet and seemingly sets Julie on a path that, if not healthier for the character, should put her on more stable footing. Although since she, like Howie, is always in-the-moment, who knows how long that will last? I'd like to think it will though. Julia's a mess in the movie, but she's also a character who's easy to root for.

While a lot of the stuff that happens between Howard or “Howie,” as she calls him, would have happened in the movie regardless, it seems as if the ending was changed somewhat so that Julia could get a happy or at least happier ending, which is actually fitting giving the rest of the film ends on a violent and bad bet on Howard Ratner’s part.

After Howard lets his father-in-law and his cronies back into the jewelry store after winning the major basketball bet, he’s promptly shot in the face and his father-in-law is collateral damage as well. The jewelry store is then robbed as a kind of cover for the crime.

Although the final shot is of Howie’s gunshot wound, before that, the movie cuts to the women in his life. His wife, played by Idina Menzel, is finally getting worried. Meanwhile in Vegas, Julia manages to nab some help from Wayne Diamond to pick up the money related to the big bet. She gets in a car to head back to New York, living out a dream for a brief moment. We don’t see what happens when she makes it back to the city.

Uncut Gems has not resonated with all audiences, but I really found it fitting – and shocking – when it ends more on the women Howie left behind than what ultimately happened to Howie. As a whole, the movie is a harrowing account of what gambling and excess can do to a person, and without that ray of light in its ending, Uncut Gems would have been a very different movie. It's always interesting how seemingly small notes or changes can really ultimately effect movies in meaningful ways. We'll have to wait and see if the way the movie pans out is enough to keep Adam Sandler in the awards conversation in the coming months, but it's an interesting story from Julia Fox regardless.
