But as we look back on the playoffs — Taylor Swift’s girl gang of punny shirts, Tina Fey’s reaction to Timothée Chalamet’s manspreading, etc. — there’s one moment we can’t get over. Swift and Kylie Jenner shared a friendly hug on the court after Game 4, and insiders are weighing in on what that means for Swift’s feud with the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The feud between Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West technically dates back to 2009 when the rapper interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the VMAs, but it was his song “Famous” that really ramped up the drama with some offensive lyrics that mentioned Swift’s name. According to an insider, Swift’s kindness toward Kardashian’s little sister shouldn’t be seen as an olive branch toward the whole family, as Naughty But Nice blogger Rob Shuter said:

The Reputation artist recalled how she’d pushed back against the offensive lyrics in “Famous,” only to have Kim Kardashian — Ye’s wife at the time — release edited footage of a phone call that appeared to show Swift giving her consent. Taylor Swift went dark and fled the country. She called it “a career death,” in that Time article: “Make no mistake—my career was taken away from me.” Swift said:

Taylor Swift has since rebuilt her image — thanks, in part, to leaked video of the unedited call that proved she hadn’t been lying — but that doesn’t necessarily mean all is well between her and Kim Kardashian. Another source told Rob Shuter:

Looking at a video of the hug between the “Opalite” singer and Kylie Jenner, it’s really not the warmest of hugs — I can see a hint of awkwardness there, like when Jenner ran into Timothée’s sister Pauline Chalamet at the Oscars. It’s not like Taylor Swift spoke to Jenner before that, and they likely won’t be seen hanging out again, but they’re both adults who can be in the same arena without causing drama. As yet another source put it:

I highly, highly doubt she did.

Kanye West has spent years making headlines for reasons that go well beyond music. Between his past antisemitism controversy, his relationship with Bianca Censori, his latest public comeback efforts and guiding daughter North West’s music career, everything Ye does is a headline. Such as performing for upwards of 118,000 people in Istanbul admidst concerts being canceled in other cities and countries, which drew a fiery response from a Turkish political figure.

The rapper performed at Ataturk Olympic Stadium, marking his first concert in Turkey, following news of a July 18 show getting canceled in Italy, and ahead of two highly contested concerts in the Netherlands. Oktay Saral, a chief adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, posted a lengthy statement on X that makes his stance on West performing in his country clear. He's not a fan, and it's less about one or two songs being offensive, and more about thinking West is promoting "cultural degeneration" and more. In his words:

Saral also pointed to Michèle Lamy's presence being an issue due to her connections with occultism and further damaging the morals of the youth. He further called upon the country's tourism board to put a larger effort on vetting performers on that level.

In a follow-up post, Saral responded to those speaking against his initial criticisms, saying:

While Kanye West notably shared public apologies for his antisemitism, not everyone has been quick to believe the rapper to be sincerely pentient. Which played into British officials formally banning Ye from entering the country in April, causing him to bow out of an already scheduled Wireless Festival appearance in London. Following that, Ye himself postponed a concert in Marseille, France, after it was reported government officials were possibly looking to cancel it themselves. A June 19 concert planned for Poland was also canceled in April.

According to the Irish News, an Amsterdam judge ruled this week against appeals made by the Central Jewish Council to cancel Ye's concerts for June 6 and 8 at the Gelredome in Arnhem, and the country's lawmakers also turned down requests for the rapper to be banned from entering the country.

At this point, there's probably no reason for Ye to hurriedly attempt to set up another concert or two in Turkey. But if and when that day comes, he can probably expect Oktay Saral to have something to say about it.

Kanye West has been the subject of many headlines over the years due to his controversial behavior. However, since January — when he admitted he’d “lost touch with reality” — the conversation has been more about his apology tour than antisemitism or drama within his marriage to Bianca Censori. One fan claims to have an update after running into Ye, Censori and their entourage, including the sweet way the rapper is supporting his daughter North West.

A tip was submitted to DeuxMoi — an anonymous gossip site — by a fan who claimed to have been hanging out near Kanye West at Chateau Marmont, and they were apparently close enough to get the tea on Ye’s current state of mind. According to an Instagram post that included photos showing the couple in a car outside the hotel:

The dynamic between Kanye West and Bianca Censori has been a big question mark since it was revealed that they got married in 2022. There have been concerns about the rapper making her wear revealing outfits, with many wondering if Censori has a say in “nude stunts” like the Grammy red carpet debacle, which Ye’s wife allegedly didn’t want to do.

However, despite some split rumors — and Ye’s song about not knowing where his wife was — this fan said Bianca Censori seemed to really care about his mood and was amongst those trying to lift his spirits. She also allegedly partook in a small gesture of support for Kanye West’s older daughter. The post continued:

It also sounds like the eavesdropper heard about some possibly big plans that he and Bianca Censori are making regarding their marriage, writing:

Kanye West was certainly hung up on Kim Kardashian for a long time after she filed for divorce in 2021 after seven years of marriage but, nearly four years into his marriage with Bianca Censori, would he still be this shook by her getting into a new relationship? Maybe she and Lewis Hamilton are more serious than we know?

The anonymous source had one last tidbit from her time in Ye’s proximity, writing:

I’m not quite sure what to say about this, since Kanye West’s mental health comes into play. The past several years have seen Kanye West receive backlash for statements he’s made on a myriad of topics. West has garnered particular attention for sharing antisemitic sentiments during both on-camera interviews and social media. That entire saga arguably began with his viral (and since-removed) interview on the Drink Champs podcast in late 2022. Even over three years after that, new information on the discussion is still being divulged, and I just learned that Sean “Diddy” Combs shared notes before it dropped.

Drink Champs host N.O.R.E. reflected on the interview while speaking with Jason Lee. To provide some context, N.O.R.E.’s podcast is owned by the Revolt network and, at the time the Ye interview was conducted, the since-incarcerated Combs was the head of the company, which I knew). But his recent interview with Lee, the “Superthug” performer revealed that while he was editing the video, he fielded a phone call from Combs, who shared thoughts on the video, and I didn’t know that. As for his regrets, N.O.R.E. said:

During that interview, Kanye West declared that he could “say antisemitic things, and Adidas can’t drop me,” and he also made inflammatory statements about the death of George Floyd. After the interview went viral, West was dropped by Adidas as well as CAA, Balenciaga and other businesses. The “Stronger” performer’s comments also sparked a $250 million lawsuit from Floyd’s family. N.O.R.E explained to Lee (as seen on YouTube) how he felt about the Floyd comments and what it was like when Combs reached out to him about the piece:

N.O.R.E. initially seemed to suggest that Sean Combs – a friend of Ye’s – advised him to limit his cuts to the interview. Yet the comment above seemingly conveys the notion that Combs was unsure about releasing West’s conversation with the salacious content. N.O.R.E expressed further regret over how the podcast interview turned out and said this:

Following that controversial interview, Ye shared more anti-Jewish comments on social media, and he later claimed that he’d recanted his views on subsequent occasions. This past January saw West take out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal in which he formally apologized for the comments he’d shared and partially attributed them to his mental health struggles. When asked if he only apologized for career advancement, West pointed out that his music was still faring well from a commercial standpoint.

Meanwhile, Diddy remains behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey as he serves a four-year/50-month sentence after being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. In March 2025, West and Diddy spoke by phone while the latter was still at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, which was a signifier of their continued friendship. Of course, given Diddy’s current situation, we’re unable to hear his side of how those conversations involving West’s interview played out.

Aubrey O’Day has been vocal about her past dealings with Sean “Diddy” Combs amid his ongoing legal issues. Diddy (56) and Day (42) collaborated in the early aughts when the latter was a member of the girl group he formed, Danity Kane and, the latter has made headlines for the details she’s shared. Now, however, O’Day is on the receiving end of backlash due to attending Kanye West’s recent performances amid his own controversies. O’Day has since issued a response to those taking issue with her going to the concerts.

What Did Aubrey O’Day Say After Being Criticized For Going To Ye’s Shows?

Someone took to X to share a clip of a video O’Day recently posted. In that video, the “Wrecking Ball” singer confirmed she was going to see Kanye West perform at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the second night in a row. The user didn’t mince words when sharing their thoughts on O’Day attending the concerts and ended the message by calling her a “hypocrite.” O’Day herself reposted that message and explained why she didn’t believe her attendance should impact her claims about Diddy:

O’Day previously claimed that years ago, after she joined DK, Combs made sexual passes at her and sent her explicit emails. She claimed that her removal from the girl group in 2008 was due to her deflecting Combs’ advances. On the docuseries Sean Combs: Reckoning, O’Day shared more about her experiences with Diddy and read an affidavit, on camera, which featured testimony from a man who claimed he saw her get sexually assaulted by Diddy and another unnamed person years ago. Speaking on Ye, O’Day also said:

When it comes to her issues with Sean Combs, Aubrey O’Day has also spoken about the legal processes her ex-colleague has been through recently. O’Day didn’t testify at his sex-trafficking trial, but she did weigh in when Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to four years (or 50 months) in prison. O’Day has also expressed concerns about Combs’ post-prison life and whether he’ll truly reform. All the while, there have been those who doubt some of Ye’s recent comments.

Why Has Kanye West Been Receiving Backlash?

Ye – or the artist formally known as Kanye West (48) – has seen his share of professional setbacks in recent years due to controversial comments he’s made. Beginning in 2022, the “Homecoming” performer went viral for sharing antisemitic comments during interviews and on social media. Those sentiments would cause West to lose business partnerships and experience financial losses. On certain occasions over the years, the Grammy winner also seemed to express remorse for the comments he’d made.

Earlier this year, Ye doubled down on his remorse by taking out a full-page ad, with which he apologized for both his antisemitic views and other inflammatory comments. That apology was still questioned, with some people wondering if West only shared it in order to improve the state of his career. When asked about that, the rapper noted that his music was still notching significant numbers on streaming platforms and that he had no need to improve his commercial viability.

There’s seemingly reason to believe that assertion, since Kanye West’s shows at SoFi Stadium collectively grossed $33 million in ticket sales. His show this past Friday earned $18 million alone and became one of the highest grosses for a single live show. Still, West just hit a major setback after he was barred from entering the UK and his previously announced festivals were canceled as a result. What lies ahead for West remains to be seen as do any further takes from Aubrey O’Day about going to his shows.

Nobody in the world is having the exact same kind of week that Kanye West is having, which is a sentiment that could easily apply to most weeks out of the year. The rapper's attempt to rise back up to the pop culture pedestal, following his controversial antisemetic social media tirades and susbsequent attempts at apologizing, have hit a snag, as plans to have him headline the UK's Wireless Festival have been reversed.

Not only is Ye no longer headlining the two-night event amidst other European events planned for the summer, but it's officially not even happening anymore. As it turns out, though, it wasn't canceled due to all the sponsors bowing out, but because the UK government says the Yeezy founder can no longer enter the country.

Kanye West Currently Banned From Legally Visiting The UK

It would appear as if the Wireless Festival made its deal with West without the latter having proper paperwork, according to The Guardian, so he filed an application to travel to the UK through the Electronic Transit Authorization on Monday, April 6. Initially, it's stated that the application went through and was granted. However, that decision was soon reviewed and reversed, as it was decided him traveling to the country would not be of positive public service.

Ahead of the final decision, as the request was still under review, a spokesperson for the Prime Minister shared this statement:

Phil Rosenberg, the president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, sahred that his group would be agreeable to a sit-down with Kanye West on the offchance that he'd pull out of the concert himself. But Rosenberg also called out the musician for previously promoting the tracks "Gas Chamber" and "Heil Hitler."

The Wireless Festival Has Now Been Canceled Altogether

While most weekend festivals aren't beholden to a single artist's involvement, it would appear that the powers that be behind the Wireless Festival had put many of their eggs in West's basket. The event's promoters put out this statement, via Instagram:

The fest, which was set to take place in July, will no longer be moving forward, and everyone who'd previously purchased tickets will be refunded in full. It does not appear as if there will be a rescheduled event at a later date.

Not long after Kanye West was announced as a headliner, sponsors began to back out of their deals with the promoters. First it was Pepsi, followed by alcohol giant Diageo, Paypal and Anheuser-Busch.

A festival spokesperson attempted to defend standing by West's involvement ahead of the ban being put in place, saying none of the financial backers took issue with putting him on the bill.

This isn't the first time that Kanye West's attempts to perform outside the United States was stalled. Just last year, the Australian government revoked his travel visa following the release of "Heil Hitler," and his planned 2025 shows in South Korea were also axed due to his controversial posts.

West broke records during the first weekend of April with a pair of Los Angeles concerts that brought in over $30 million combined.

It’s no secret that the past several years have been somewhat turbulent for Kanye West, who’s been embroiled in a series of controversies. More recently, however, the rapper has apparently seemed to distance himself from those past situations and continue with his music career. As part of that, West – who was approved to legally change his name to Ye in 2021 – has been headlining shows as of late. With that, the artist just hit a personal milestone that also marked a record for the music business as a whole.

Over the past week, Ye headlined a couple of sold-out shows in Los Angeles, which were held in SoFi Stadium and, based on a new report, those performances proved to be very lucrative. Per Bloomberg, the shows combined grossed $33 million in ticket sales, with a Friday show alone reportedly earning over $18 million in sales. That would make the performance one of the single highest-grossing single shows in the history of live music.

Something the news outlet also stresses, though, is that these reported numbers were not officially approved for public release. With that, the individuals who shared it declined to be identified for the story. So, whether that fact impacts the validity of the data can’t be said with absolute certainty. Nevertheless, what’s been presented represents a sizable boon for West and would seemingly indicate that he’s maintained a firm following even in the years following his scandals.

Ye made headlines back in 2022 when he shared antisemitic comments on a (since-removed) episode of the Drink Champs Podcast. The “Touch the Sky” performer mused that he could make such remarks and not face ramifications from his corporate partners. From there, West also shared inflammatory comments on social media, including a post in which he said he wanted to go “death con 3” on Jewish people. 2025 also saw the release of a controversial single from West called “Heil Hitler.”

In 2022, shortly after the initial comments were made, Adidas dropped Kanye West along with other entities like Balenciaga and CAA. West said, around that same time, that he’d been “beat to a pulp” due to the financial losses he experienced during that time.

There have been several occasions since in which Ye has retracted his antisemitic views. He did that in a significant way this past January, when he took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal and apologized for his outbursts, including those not related to people of the Jewish faith. Some pundits, however, still questioned West’s apology, reasoning that he’d only shared it in an attempt to salvage his career. When posed with that question, the Grammy winner himself argued that the point was moot due to his music still being heavily streamed and hitting new benchmarks as a result.

West’s mention of his continued appeal seems to align with the recent reports about those LA shows. At the same time, while West has seen concert cancellations in recent years due to his controversies, he’s still apparently been able to book gigs. The SoFi Stadium performances aside, West recently booked shows in the Netherlands and Italy, and those will take place in June and July, respectively.

It’s hard to say exactly what lies ahead for Kanye West from a professional standpoint. Still, as he continues to perform in the aftermath of his controversies, pundits may continue to analyze his financial gains – and potential records – with great interest.

Various claims regarding the supposed dynamics within Ye and Censori’s relationship point to the notion of the latter not having much autonomy or say in choices that are made. There are those who’ve disputed those rumors, though, and recently shared comments from one of OK Magazine’s sources align with that sentiment. On that note, the individual claims that Censori is allegedly aiming to release a tell-all memoir in the event that her relationship with West doesn’t last. The insider dropped claims about why Censori would consider this:

From the outside looking in, Censori and West have seemingly had some interesting experiences together. Aside from the secret wedding and Grammys situation, the two have traveled extensively and paid visits to some offbeat locales, including a sex shop in Spain. What the allegations above seem to suggest is that Censori is aware that there would be considerable public interest in a tell-all book written from her perspective. Still, the insider went on to share claims about why this project would reportedly be tough to start:

It was in early 2023 that Ye and Bianca Censori (who worked as an architectural designer with her husband’s Yeezy brand) were first spotted in public together. Censori was subsequently seen scantily clad in public, leading some to wonder about whether she chose her own wardrobe. Much of 2025 saw the pair dealing with divorce rumors, as it was said that Censori wanted to leave her husband but found it difficult to do so due to him being controlling. West even rapped about his wife leaving him in a single called “BIANCA.”

By June 2025, it was reported that Censori had given her spouse the “ultimatum” that he either spend time in a “holistic therapy spa” with her for assistance with his mental health struggles or she would leave him. In February, Censori spoke to Vanity Fair in what was the longest interview she’d given since marrying the “Jesus Walks” performer. Censori stressed that she had the ability to make choices within her marriage and voiced her continued support for Ye.

Bianca Censori’s comments would suggest that a divorce isn’t something that she’d ideally want. So these claims regarding a tell-all should be taken with a massive grain of salt.

At the moment, there’s a trial going on between Tony Saxon and Kanye West over the demolition of a mansion. While Saxon claims he was injured during this process, Ye’s team is saying that he “destroyed” the massive house. Now, new details are coming out about the property in question, and one of them has to do with the alleged lack of toilets.

In the case at hand, the plaintiff, Tony Saxon, is claiming that he was ordered to “hollow out” the mansion designed by acclaimed architect Tadao Ando that West bought for $57.3 million. Meanwhile, the rapper’s team is claiming that Saxon was an independent contractor who earned more than $240,000 and operated without a license. Rolling Stone provided an account of what was told to the jury during this trial, and it included details about what Ye wanted in this home.

Apparently, West wanted to turn this mansion into an “off-the-grid shelter,” Saxon’s lawyer, Ron Zambrano, said. He also reportedly wanted a lot of features ripped out, including electrical outlets, wiring, a jacuzzi, fireplaces, plumbing, and toilets. Speaking specifically about what Ye wanted (or didn’t want) when it came to the toilets, Zambrano said:

Taking toilets and various other appliances and features out, apparently, is not the only thing West wanted done. Saxon’s lawyer went on to say that Ye wanted his client to replace cement steps between the ocean and his pool, and it was alleged that all this work was to be done without permits.

Eventually, Saxon was fired after he voiced concerns about the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning in relation to the site’s generators. Zambrano said that his client is owed $75,000. He also claimed that Saxon sustained injuries that have caused him lasting harm.

Meanwhile, West’s team told the story in a very different way. His lawyer, Andrew Cherkasky, claimed that Saxon was hired to do “renovation prep work.” However, he says that the plaintiff “destroyed the Ando house.”

Cherkasky claimed that when it came to the bathrooms, West was apparently not in the know about that. The lawyer said:

He went on to explain that apparently, there is “not a single medical record” that proves Saxon was injured on the job.

To provide a bit of a timeline here, Zambrano claimed that Saxon was hired after he met with Ye’s now-wife, Bianca Censori, in September 2021. Notably, at the time, West was still married to Kim Kardashian, and they settled their divorce in 2022. Saxon filed his lawsuit in 2023.

This is not the first lawsuit West has been involved in in recent years. For example, back in 2022, he got a $7 million lawsuit over his canceled Coachella performance. In 2024, he was sued by former employees who he allegedly called “new slaves.” He was also sued by a former assistant for alleged sexual assault and more. That’s not it either, according to Rolling Stone, this case with Saxon is the first to reach a jury amid a bunch of civil complaints toward Ye that have come up over the past six years.

So, with all that being said, as we learn more about this house, its apparent lack of bathrooms and the various claims from both parties, we’ll keep you posted.

According to The Independent, Ye is performing in the Netherlands on June 6 at the Vitesse Arnhem’s Gelredome football stadium. Those organizing the event have since billed this as Ye’s first European concert in a decade. However, it’s also worth noting that the rapper actually performed at the 2015 edition of the Glastonbury Festival, and he also performed alongside the Sunday Service Collective in Paris.

West’s latest show in the Netherlands won’t mark his only concert stop in Europe either. Following his performance in the Dutch city, he’ll also perform a show in Reggio Emilia, Italy, which is set to be held on July 18. The Independent’s report didn’t provide details regarding the specific location for that show in Italy.

And, even when West has performed for live audiences or lined up such events, the results have varied. The Yeezy brand founder’s appearance at the Rolling Loud festival in 2024, for example, garnered blowback due to the star merely dancing instead of rapping. In 2025, West did have a concert planned for South Korea, though that was ultimately canceled due to his various controversies.

In one particular post shared to X around that time, West talked about wanting to go “death con 3” on Jewish people. West also apologized with a message written in Hebrew on Christmas Day and reiterated his intention to forsake antisemitism in 2025.

After this latest apology went viral, Kanye West denied claims that he only released it to improve his career. West argued that the high streaming stats for his music countered the theory that he was seeking to find commercial success. At present, he’s also looking towards the release of his latest studio album, Bully and, with his newly booked concerts, he’s now in a position to perform those new songs on the road.

From 2014 to 2022, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were among the most headline-worthy married couples on the planet and beyond, and that didn’t exactly stop whenever they split and divorced. Most recently, West has garnered interest for his widespread apology for antisemitic behavior, as well as for odd songs about his current wife Bianca Censori, but will likely forever be linked to Kardashian given the four children they share. Asked what her and Ye’s current situation is like, following reports that they’d spent the Christmas holidays as a full family, the SKIMS founder shared:

For all the couples out there who can’t seem to stay in the same room for more than five minutes at a time without chaos erupting, it sounds like both moguls are able to put aside all (or most) differences in order to provide a pleasant and supportive environment for their kids, from the oldest, North (12), to the youngest, Psalm (6). Even if it hasn’t always been the smoothest transition, their family get-togethers are nearly always amicable and without controversy. And she knows how to keep her kids protected if and when Ye's behavior grows more erratic.

Later in the interview, Kim Kardashian brought Ye’s name up again in loose relation to her FX series All’s Fair. Asked to speak more on her past comments about keeping all of the costumes she wore on the drama, she opened up about how much she falls into that behavior in all aspects of her life (at least when it comes to clothing). As she put it:

One has to assume that the Kardashian family could open museums across the country highlighting all of the luxuries they've acquired over the years. And it sounds like Kim could found an establishment just dedicated to West's tour outfits. (Expert advice: don't put that building in front of any Taylor Swift museums.) Speaking of such landmarks, she continued:

I can just see her watching an on-stage performance during the early days of their marriage, not taking in any of the entertainment, and only looking at her watch with nothing but eagerness to get the wardrobe into storage posthaste. Everybody got their quirks.

For Kardashian, keeping all of West's costumes (among myriad other looks and items) has been done with their kids in mind, as a way to preserve legacies for future perusal. She shared:

None of the clothes I ever wear would be worth such efforts to store properly, but then I am only worth a nanobillionth of what either Kim Kardashian or Kanye West is. And I doubt I'd be able to pull a Yeezy heel off, but there's a first time for everything.

Now when it comes to Pee-Wee Herman memorabilia, such as Kim giving Kourtney Kardashian the bicycle from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, that's the museum I'd really like to see. Maybe Kanye will wear the grey suit and bow tie for an upcoming tour.

Kanye West has returned to the headlines, but this time it’s not for any controversial comments or for putting ex-wife Kim Kardashian “through hell.” The rapper now says he “deeply regrets” things that he said and did while in an “altered state” due to bipolar disorder. He acknowledged that the people he loved were the ones he “treated the worst” and, now, insiders are speaking out about how his wife Bianca Censori feels and what’s supposedly going on after that song about her leaving Ye.

There have been a lot of questions about Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s relationship since their secret wedding in late 2022, including if Censori consented to the risqué outfits she wore while out with her husband. Last spring things really seemed to have taken a turn, as Ye released a new album with a song “Bianca,” in which he said, “she ran away.” A source who said they’re close to the couple alleges Censori did try to leave the rapper before he sought treatment, telling People:

The song “Bianca” includes lyrics like, “My baby, she ran away / But first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital, 'cause I am not sick,” and “Until Bianca's back, I stay up all night, I'm not going to sleep / I really don't know where she's at.”

However, it wasn’t long before the couple were seen together again, with sources reporting that she agreed to stay married to him under the condition that she have more freedom. She allegedly also gave Ye an ultimatum that led to them spending time at a therapy spa clinic and had demands related to his career.

However, People’s source said it all comes back to his bipolar disorder, and that Kanye West doesn’t understand exactly what he’s done during episodes until he’s regained some stability. They said:

Ye recognized in his recent statements that his loved ones, presumably including Bianca Censori, have “endured fear, confusion, humiliation, and the exhaustion of trying to love someone who was, at times, unrecognizable.”

For her part, Kim Kardashian was empathetic to Kanye West’s mental struggles during their marriage and has opened up about when it became toxic and how sharing four children impacted her decision to stay or leave.

Now that the disgraced rapper has sought help and is speaking out, we’ll have to see what that means for his future with Bianca Censori.

48-year-old West – whose latest album, Bully, is nearing release – reflected on his anti-Jewish sentiments and sought to provide context for his mental health obstacles. The Grammy winner specifically revealed he was diagnosed with a right frontal lobe injury, which he allegedly sustained during the 2002 car accident that sparked “Through the Wire,” his first single. West caught up with Vanity Fair to discuss the letter and, when asked about his reasons for dropping the letter, he shut down any notion of it being career-motivated:

Despite the myriad of controversies surrounding the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper in recent years, he has seemingly maintained a steady fan following. It’s seemingly because of that that Ye argues that he has no need to get into the public’s good graces in order to boost his career in some way. During his interview, the music and fashion mogul – who also revealed in his letter that he suffered a four-month manic episode in 2025 – went on to cite deeper reasons for sharing the apology:

In 2022, Kanye West drew backlash for antisemetic comments he made during a since-removed episode of the Drink Champs podcast. During that same year, West also dropped controversial social media posts, including one in which he claimed he’d go “death con 3” on Jewish people. Not only was West condemned by Jewish activist groups at the time, but he was also dropped by Balenciaga, Adidas and more. Around that time, West said he’d been “beat to a pulp” due to the loss of business connections.

Ye’s letter also addresses the rant he went on in early 2025, which saw him claim “dominion” over his current wife, Bianca Censori. That situation came months before he released the single “Heil Hitler” and, at the same time, Nazi iconography was also highlighted through some of the apparel offered by the rapper’s clothing brand, Yeezy. Ye told Vanity Fair that he began to express remorse over his actions after receiving treatment for his manic episode. Still, the father of four also acknowledged that he’d already burned a lot of bridges:

Kanye West’s full-page letter marks yet another instance in which he’s apologized for sharing antisemitic thoughts. In 2023, West apologized multiple times via social media with one post which he mused that 21 Jump Street had changed his views and another he shared on Christmas Day, which was written in Hebrew and came months before the release of his Vultures 1 album in 2024. West apologized again in 2025, saying he was “done with antisemitism.” It remains to be seen if that stance will hold firm after this latest apology.

Kanye West has been a controversial figure within the hip hop community in recent years, with his public stunts and offensive comments overshadowing a long career of hit albums and award-winning collaborations. This was especially true over the last few years, in which the rapper leaned heavily into antisemitism and Nazi imagery, which appeared in everything from social media posts to his music. Now, West is offering an apology and detailing his mental health struggles in a long, public letter.

West -- who legally changed his name to Ye -- took out a full-page ad in the Wall Street Journal, essentially crafting a long letter in the process. The rapper detailed his issues with bipolar disorder, dating all the way back to his infamous car accident that led to his jaw being wired shut and his first hit song, "Through The Wire." After sharing some facts about bipolar disorder, West specifically addressed his comments shared over the past four months as well as how he felt during that time (via Complex):

At the end of 2025 saw the "Jesus Walks" performer make headlines for multiple reasons. For instance, West's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, said he wasn't trying to see his children and that she'd never kept them from him. There was also the release of his documentary, In Whose Name?, which tackled some of his public outbursts and offered reactions from others who encountered Ye during that time.

In his recently published letter, West went on to say it was his disconnected state that led to him to embrace the "most destructive symbol," the swastika. He continued on and apologized profusely for how he used it in merchandising and music:

Kanye West also apologized to the Black community, expressing his love and disappointment to those he let down. After that, he talked about how there was a four-month period in 2025 in which he had a manic episode that "destroyed his life." West noted he began to feel as though he "didn't want to be here anymore."

The Grammy winner said he began to feel regret once he came out of his manic state, and it was his wife, Bianca Censori, who encouraged him to get help. He said that he found solace in Reddit forums, which offered him support from others who experienced the same regrets and feelings. After a brief mention of doctors saying he may not have bipolar disorder, but autism, he closed with this:

This is the latest apology Kanye West has offered to the Jewish community, after several previous apologies. West apologized in 2023 and claimed 21 Jump Street helped him "like Jewish people again," prompting a response from the director. He apologized again that same year on Christmas Day and then again in 2025 on X. Time will tell if West finds peace with his ongoing mental health struggles and continues to find a path forward beyond it.

As for Ye's professional endeavors, it remains to be seen what he has planned for the year to come. The 2026 TV schedule is just kicking off, and there remains the possibility that the public will see him make an appearance on a show -- scripted or non-scripted -- at some point.

Right now, when Teyana Taylor is mentioned, it’s typically in relation to her Golden Globe-winning performance in One Battle After Another or her work on the hit Hulu show All’s Fair. This comment comes after years of reports regarding Kanye West and his various controversies. For a while now, his social media rants have been a big topic of conversation. Along with that, there have been consistent reports about his relationships with his kids and ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, who, as I mentioned, worked with Taylor last year.

Kim Kardashian shared her hilariously relatable attempt to get North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm to smile for the camera. Kim was decked out in all brown — a fur coat covering what appeared to be a leather corset, complete with leggings and knee-high thong sandals — with her hair pulled back in a tight bun and sunglasses to complete the look. “I really tried,” she wrote on her Instagram post that showed her fruitless efforts:

If not for the final slide that showed North West lip-syncing with her mom to “Thx,” we might not have even known the 12-year-old was even there (well, the blue wisp of hair that can be seen walking out of the frame on the third photo was another clue).

It seems like Kim Kardashian would have settled with just a nice photo with her three youngest kiddos, but she couldn’t quite get 10-year-old Saint to get close to her (or stop dancing in other shots). Six-year-old Psalm also seems to have caught the sillies after a while, as he can be seen making faces. The SKIMS boss better hold on tight to Chicago, because that 7-year-old stayed ready to hug up on her mom for the pic.

What a departure this was from seven years ago. It’s no secret that a Kardashian Christmas isn’t cheap, and to this day Kim splurges on hallways of Christmas trees and even a pianist to play live music in her home. But back in 2018 she and her then-husband Kanye West went all out, transforming their Southern California mansion into a winter wonderland for the Kardashian-Jenner family’s annual holiday soiree.

Florist Ashley Greer gave People an estimated breakdown of how much Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spent on everything, which reportedly included:

• $350,000: Fake snow to cover one acre of the three-acre property (including installation and removal)
• $200,000: Installation of Australian artist Kathy Temin's “My Monument: White Forest,” which included 20 sculptures
• $80,000-$100,000: Food and beverages
• $80,000: Lighting for special cloud fixtures, the interior of the tents and the sledding hill.
• $50,000: Price per tent with dance floors, of which there were several
• $35,000: 200 tons of ice chopped into snow for a sledding hill
• $30,000: Furniture and prop rental

That’s not even counting the cost of John Legend performing, since he’s a friend of the family and likely sang for free (or at a severely discounted price).

What a time that was. I have to wonder if Kim Kardashian thinks back to that on the days when she realizes her Christmas cards are unusable because North was sticking up her middle finger in all of the photos.

A new documentary, In Whose Name?, hit the 2025 movie calendar this weekend, which covers six years of Kanye West’s life. The film doesn’t shy away from the rapper’s controversies, including his impromptu Saturday Night Live rant — one of SNL’s most infamous moments — during which he wore a red MAGA cap. Behind-the-scenes footage shows Michael Che confronting Ye afterward, as well as an explosive argument between Kris Jenner and her then-son-in-law regarding his mental health.

On September 29, 2018, Kanye West went on a rant after his final musical performance on that night’s Saturday Night Live taping. Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim have shared their recollection of Ye’s diatribe, and Chris Redd — who has been known to impersonate the rapper — said he thought it was “disrespectful.” Now, footage from In Whose Name? shows that Michael Che also took issue with his friend, as he approached West backstage and said (via EW):

They went on to discuss Kanye West’s comments about having a Black comedian make jokes about Black subject matter like Bill Cosby. While Ye said he was referring to SNL comedian Leslie Jones, Michael Che pointed out that he was the one who made the joke about Cosby, asking Ye, “Why would you do that to me?” Their conversation continued:

• Ye: Aw, man, I love you though, bro.
• Che: I love you, too. I'm a fan. But why would you do that to me? I work here! I work here! Come on, man. … We treat everybody that come in like family, and you're gonna sell us out? That's fucked up, man! We look up to you, we love you. What you got against us?
• Ye: I mean, I do have things against SNL in general.
• Che: That's cool, but airing it out like that without letting us be able to reply is kinda foul.
• Ye: Yeah, you right about that.
• Che: You wait til the last song and then say that foul shit to us, and we brought you in here.

Tensions may have been high that night, but it apparently wasn’t the end of their friendship, as Kanye West and Michael Che were seen out with other cast members in New York ahead of Kim Kardashian’s own SNL appearance in 2021. However, Che seemed to side with colleague Pete Davidson when West declared “civil war” on his estranged wife’s new boyfriend, joking about Ye’s offer to double Che’s salary to get him away from Davidson.

In an argument that also allegedly took place in 2018, Kanye West tells his mother-in-law that he’d “rather be dead than to be on medication” and says (via E! News):

Kris Jenner tells him “it doesn’t matter” what people say, but Ye cuts her off and screams, “It does matter!” several times before grabbing his things to leave the room. The momager continued:

Kim Kardashian’s mom appeared to be trying to hold back tears as their conversation continued:

• Ye: So, what do you think? Did you have an effect on my mental health?
• Jenner: Yes! I'm saying yes. and I love you. I love you. I don't want you to be not perfect. I love you, and I want my daughter to love you the way you want her to love you.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce early in 2021, and the terms of their split were finalized the following November.

The documentary features more than the arguments Kanye West has been involved in. One scene shows him and Elon Musk opening up about what happened with Kim Kardashian and Grimes, respectively. In Whose Name? is in theaters now.

On the surface, Kanye West and Elon Musk may not seem to have too much in common, but there are similarities between the two men. They’re both obviously public figures and have amassed considerable wealth over the years due to their respective professional endeavors. In addition to that, though, both Musk and West have made headlines due to their love lives with Grimes and Kim Kardashian, respectively. Those relationships came up when the pair of moguls caught up for a chat that was filmed for a documentary.

48-year-old Ye is the subject of a new documentary, In Whose Name?, which is directed by first-time director Nico Ballesteros. The film chronicles the polarizing rapper’s life and career, promising to provide insight into the man behind the music. Interestingly enough Ballesteros and co. captured footage of Ye with 54-year-old Elon Musk, as seen in an exclusive clip shared with THR. All of this takes place following one of West’s live shows in Miami, which Musk attends.

Later that evening, Musk and West enter a space that the latter describes as “an idea of a bedroom.” The two proceed to lie down and look up at the ceiling, at which point they have an intimate conversation. Musk the proceeds to ask the following of the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” performer:

Before they became romantically involved, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were friends, and they eventually became engaged in 2013. The couple tied the knot in May 2014 and, in early 2021, Kardashian formally filed for divorce. Subsequently, the legal proceedings took a while and it was reported that West was causing issues for Kardashian. In November 2022, though, the divorce was finalized and, since then, reports have alleged that West and Kardashian now have a tense relationship that’s impacted his relationship with their four kids.

Similarly complex relationship dynamics also seemed to impact Elon Musk and former partner Grimes. With that, Musk opened up to Ye about his own personal experiences with a lover.

Just to note, it’s unclear exactly when the footage for Nico Ballesteros’ documentary was filmed, so it’s hard to say exactly what had or happened yet within Musk and Ye’s respective relationships. For Elon Musk’s part, he went on to share details of the relationship he's had with Grimes (whose real name is Claire Boucher):

Kanye West then asked the Tesla CEO how he handles the dynamics with his partner, leaving the tech magnate to hesitate before admitting he doesn’t have the “answers.” On that note, Musk and Grimes began dating in 2018 and, during that relationship, she gave birth to three of 14 children Musk has fathered. The pair reportedly continued to date off and on through 2023.

It’s interesting to hear Elon Musk get candid about his dynamic with his ex and relate those experiences to someone like Kanye West. At this point, West is now married to Bianca Censori, while Musk has reportedly been linked to other partners. Whether or not the two learn from their experiences with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Grimes moving forward remains to be. As for In Whose Name?, that film will be released in theaters on September 19.

Scooter Braun — likely best known for his feud with Taylor Swift — has retired as a music manager but has a pretty storied career of helping artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and more reach high levels of fame. Braun went on the Question Everything podcast, where he admitted to feeling “betrayed” by some former clients. That likely includes Ye, who he managed for two or three years, Braun said. He explained the person Kanye West is today is not the man he once worked with. In his words:

Basically, Scooter Braun said that while he does not have any ill will toward Kanye West, he does not have a relationship with him anymore, due to the former manager being Jewish and having grandparents who were Holocaust survivors.

The source seems to believe it’s a matter of when, not if, such a collaboration could come. And it could result in anything from a single song to an entire album. This rumor certainly seems possible. Diddy and West have associated in the past, and Combs' son worked on Kanye’s most recent album.

However, the ultimate reason that Diddy and Kanye may end up working together right now is the simple fact that there may not be anybody else willing to associate with Diddy. While lots of celebrities were known to attend Diddy’s parties, most of them have kept their distance since charges were filed, and while the rapper was acquitted of the most serious crimes, it’s unclear how quickly others will be willing to be seen as close to him again. The EP contains seven songs, one of which serves as a direct tribute to Sean Combs. Christian caught up with Hot 97, during which he shared insight into why he decided to join forces with the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” performer. During the interview, Christian described the process as “intense,” but he explained why he appreciated it:

The “In da Club” performer is far from the first person to share their observations of Bianca Censori’s choice of clothing, as her outfits have been real eye-openers. She’s been photographed wearing nothing but body tape and has been seen wearing an outfit that’s been compared to a condom. Many have taken issue with the way in which Censori presents herself, with a source even alleging that Kanye West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, doesn’t like her going “half naked” in front of their four kids.

A week ago, reports began to surface that the polarizing 47-year-old rapper – who’s been going by Ye for a little while now – decided to change his name yet again. Business documents seem to show that West had chosen to go by “Ye Ye.” Now, the mogul’s spokesperson is setting the record straight behind this supposed development, and it seems all is not as it appears.

The aforementioned documents were reportedly filed by Hussain Lalani, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper’s chief financial officer. According to reports, the “Ye Ye” moniker was signed to indicate the “manager or member name” of several brands related to the star’s business dealings, including Yeezy Apparel and Yeezy Record Label LLC. Well, it would seem that this can now all be chalked up to a misunderstanding. Ye’s representative confirmed to Page Six that he has not changed his name again.

Apparently, there was a bit of mixup when those forms were filled out. The rep explained that this happened because of “an oddity created by an online form that required something in both first name and last name fields.” So, in other words, the rapper’s team was forced to put “Ye” twice in order to satisfy the required fields. Kanye West’s rep firmly doubled down on the situation, declaring that “there is no ‘Ye Ye’.”

In 2018, Kanye West seemed keen on changing his name and, even at that point, he expressed a fondness for the name “Ye.” What reportedly drew him to that title was the term’s presence in the Bible. “Ye” is actually the most commonly used word in that religious text. Citing “personal reasons” as the motivation for the name change, West formally filed the application in 2021, and it all became official. However, many continue to publicly refer to the West by his birthname.

When Ye did change his name several years ago, he signified that with an announcement on social media. The fact that he didn’t say anything about going by “Ye Ye” after those initial reports may have been an indicator regarding whether he’d actually made the swap. Even though Ye hasn’t discussed his name on social media, he’s been busy in other respects as far as cyberspace is concerned.

Kanye West has stirred up controversy for various comments he’s made on his X account as of late. He made inappropriate comments about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s children, and claimed Taylor Swift wouldn’t have sex with him due to his race. West also alleged that he had an incestous relationship with a cousin when he was younger, and those comments allegedly concerned the mother of his four kids, Kim Kardashian. Speaking of the SKIMS founder, during a recent interview, West also asserted that he never wanted to have kids with her.

It goes without saying that in the midst of Ye’s social media controversies and rumors about his now-salvaged marriage to Bianca Censori, there are a lot of reports swirling around him. At the very least, it would seem that the public can now put to rest the assumptions about his name being changed. As for whether or not West would truly consider taking on yet another moniker at some point, that remains to be seen.

Ahead of this latest venture, she actually accompanied them to Spain as well. While in the “Land of the Rising Sun,” Censori snapped some photos that she shared to her Instagram story. Among the pics (which Page Six captured) is a glimpse of the Tokyo cityscape as well as a pic of the meal she enjoyed at the WAGYUMAFIA restaurant.

I may or may not be a tad jealous, given that I’ve long wanted to visit Japan, but that’s neither here nor there. What I do want to bring up, though, is just how much Angelina and Bianca Censori look like each other. Sure, it’s not uncommon for siblings to resemble one another, but I’d make the argument that these two almost look like twins. Take a look at one of Angelina’s Instagram posts from late 2024 to get an idea of what I’m talking about:

While a person can surely see the physical differences between them upon a further look, I stand by my viewpoint. Should they keep that up and photos of the two continue to surface, there’s a good chance I’ll continue to be somewhat thrown off by their resemblance moving forward.

He was apparently set to hang out with his and Kardashian’s oldest daughter, North West, but the meet-up was apparently canceled due to Kanye reportedly hanging out with Andrew and Tristan Tate. (The two siblings were charged with sex crimes while overseas.) As a result, Kardashian called an emergency custody hearing. An insider claimed that due to that situation and West’s general outbursts, Kardashian was being “put through hell.”

In the meantime, questions still remain in regard to the hip hop veteran’s reported name change. Should this all be true, it’s possible that some people are going to have to get used to saying “Ye Ye”.

The insider even claims that Ye is making changes for the better. However, questions still seem to remain as to whether this period of bliss will persist:

Though Kanye West has apparently changed his tune, it remains to be seen whether the law will become involved in this matter.

According to documents obtained by InTouch, Ye demanded the “irrelevant claims” about his current and former wives be thrown out. He also asked that Doe be ordered to reveal his identity. According to the documents, Kanye West is arguing that John Doe’s anonymity prevents his team from vetting the plaintiff’s credibility, prior employment and any other litigation history. Ye’s lawyer continued:

The former employee said when Kanye West decided to run for president again in 2024, he was tasked with “conducting various investigations, including those involving attorneys and parties that have” sued him, as well as brainstorming ideas to keep him in the news in 2023. John Doe said West had him look into Kim Kardashian’s family at “supposed various criminal links Ye believed they had with criminal enterprises, including alleged sex trafficking.”

The plaintiff claims Ye also asked him to hire private investigators to follow his wife without her knowledge when she was visiting family in Australia. Rumors have circulated about the state of Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s marriage since their nude stunt at the Grammys red carpet. He seemed to confirm she left him in the lyrics to one of his recent songs, though the two have since been seen together shopping at a sex store.

As for Kim Kardashian, she’s allegedly been going “through hell” with her ex-husband, fighting him over custody issues while trying to protect the four children they share after a big dispute regarding North, their oldest daughter.

The former couple – who were collectively known as Kimye – reportedly engaged in a dispute months ago over their oldest daughter, North, adding vocals to Ye’s song, “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.” Said track also features Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, who’s on trial and facing sex-trafficking charges. Kim Kardashian took issue with this, in part, due to a deal she and her ex previously reached, which gave her the trademark rights to North’s voice. Days after his South Korean concert was canceled, Kanye West is announcing a change of heart. The rapper, who has spent much of 2025 tied up in more controversies related to racist comments and inappropriate clothing choices in public, has seemingly taken a step forward in addressing past wrongdoings, if not quite atoning for them. The rapper still has a long way to go in making amends, as more controversies about his actions have come to light. This included disturbing claims from other celebrities like Iggy Azalea, who recalled unsavory conversations with the music superstar. To his credit, Ye admitted their conversation happened, and he seems to be on a path to repentence.

It's a positive first step, but time will tell if he can stay on that path or if he'll backpedal into old habits by taking shots at other celebrities with further controversial statements. Despite that, he has found support from people like rapper Travis Scott, who's spoken about the rapper's positive attributes before mentioning the other unsavory bits.

As for fans, I know many who have stopped listening to Kanye West in recent years who would love to see someone who was once the most popular rapper in the world get back to making the music that didn't require stunts like living in a stadium. I don't think it's too late for West to make amends and find his way back into the spotlight again, assuming he continues on the path to forgiveness and does the right things to earn it.

South Korean E-commerce brand Coupang along with Interpark, a ticketing platform, spearheaded Ye’s latest show, which was to be held at Incheon Munhak Stadium. It was reported on Monday that the performance would not move forward. The two corporations shared their message with Korea JoongAng Daily (via The Independent) and attributed the axed show to “controversies” surrounding Ye. They also revealed what’s to be done about the Yeezy merchandise sales:

The “Homecoming” performer has generated attention for the various comments he’s made on social media in recent months. He notably shared antisemitic sentiments as well as Nazi-centric posts, including some in which he apparently empathized with Adolf Hitler. Aside from that the star has also dropped inflammatory claims regarding major celebrities. Ye alleged that he hooked up with Ashley Olsen and mused about wishing he’d slept with Taylor Swift, leading the pop star to take legal action. Ye also made blunt statements about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s kids, which he later apologized for.

Kanye West also turned heads due to his viral phone conversation with Sean Combs a.k.a. P. Diddy, who was in jail ahead of his now-ongoing sex trafficking trial. InTouch Weekly obtained legal documents from Provo’s suit, which actually revealed that Bianca Censori has been named the Donda curator’s power of attorney. Given that position, 30-year-old Censori has the ability to manage decisions regarding her husband’s personal life and can even forge business deals on his behalf.

Benjamin Provo apparently learned this significant information while engaged in discussions with Ye’s camp over obtaining a legal document called “Designation of Agency.” Per Provo, the Grammy winner said during the conversations that his wife is not only his power of attorney but his agent as well. As of this writing, representatives for Ye and his wife have not formally spoken out on that.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori have not provided any deep specifics into the dynamics of their marriage. However, what’s worth mentioning is that before they secretly tied the knot in 2022, they were colleagues. Censori worked as an architectural designer for West’s Yeezy brand and continues to collaborate with him. Apparently, he recently did just that, as it’s been revealed that he and Piers Morgan linked up for a chat. What Was Said During Piers Morgan And Kanye West’s Interview?

Piers Morgan Uncensored was the platform for this particular conversation, which was held remotely and also featured Ye’s collaborator, Sneako. In his monologue, the eponymous host acknowledged his past conversation with the rapper, during which Morgan confronted him about antisemetic sentiments he’d shared. When this latest chat (which is on YouTube) began, Morgan asked the Grammy winner how his life is at the moment, with the hip hop star merely musing that he can see the scenic “view” behind him.

While the former CNN host stated that Kanye West did seem “happy,” he opined that such a vibe contrasted with the negative connotations swirling around his persona. However, the “Dark Fantasy” performer, clad in a black hoodie and shades, disagreed with that assessment:

The outlet reports that local residents nearby this audition have called the Los Angeles police, but that nothing has been done about the noise issue. Specifically, around a dozen noise complaints have been made since Kanye's team took up shop at the warehouse in question. On top of the sound of the auditions, swastikas have also reportedly been drawn on the building used for auditions, in clear view of passersby. That includes children who might be going to and from the nearby school.

All of his controversy is likely going to result in many eyes on whatever Kanye is cooking up. Following Diddy's viral phone call with West from jail, the incarcerated rapper's trial is expected to begin shortly. Is Ye creating some sort of project in support of Diddy? It's unclear, but the timing of the looming trial and whatever West's hooligan choir is for definitely feels purposeful.
