The Real Housewives franchise is responsible for some of the best reality shows of all time, and there are multiple cities airing at any given time on Bravo (and streaming with a Peacock subscription). We're nearing the end of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15, and while I don't want Kyle Richards to exit, I do think she should take a page out of Cynthia Bailey's book and become a friend of. Let me explain why.

Cynthia Bailey was one of the longest-running characters on Real Housewives of Atlanta before she departed as a main cast member in 2011. But after taking a season off, she's returned as a "Friend Of" and has been the emotional core of the more recent outings. And I think this is a role that Kyle Richards would do great in on RHOBH.

I Want Kyle To Stay On RHOBH, But Not Full-Time

For a few years now, Kyle has been getting some flak online from Housewives fans. While we've watched the dissolution of her marriage with Mauricio, she's also been criticized for not sharing enough, especially related to those rumors about her dating Morgan Wade. Her feud with Dorit has also taken a dark turn, with some Bravohaulics wanting to see her leave the show altogether.

But the Halloween Ends actress is the last OG left on Beverly Hills, and I do think she helps to bring the group together. Instead, I'd like to see her take a step back and follow in Cynthia's footsteps as a Friend Of. This would let long-time fans keep up with her life's twists, but might help curb the hate that she's been getting online from Bravohaulics.

I do think that Kyle brings a lot to RHOBH, and she's shared her life for many years. She has lots of connections and genuine friendships with the rest of the cast, which helps to move the overall season forward. She does have a role to play, and I think that taking a step back might give her some much-needed boundaries. She can still be the glue of the group while not being a full-time Housewife. That's exactly what Cynthia Bailey has on Atlanta, and I've truly never loved her more.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Atlanta are currently both airing weekly on Bravo as part of the 2026 TV schedule. We'll just have to wait and see whether or not Kyle Richards sticks around after Season 15.

The Bravolebrity has taken some exciting acting roles lately, including Richards' appearance on The Lincoln Lawyer and the last two Halloween movies. But she's still known for her long tenure on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which has documented her family and marriage issues for the world to see. During a conversation with People, she addressed leaving the long-running show, saying:

Say it ain't so! While Richards is already confirmed to appear in the upcoming 15th season of RHOBH, it sounds like the actress/reality TV star isn't a guarantee for Season 16. We'll just have to see what goes down when she returns to Bravo, and if the drama in the forthcoming season inspires her to stay or leave.

The past few season have been intense for Kyle, so I would understand if she's thinking about leaving. She and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation, and rumors swirled about her relationship with singer Morgan Wade. And that's not even counting other major fallouts from the show such as her former friendship with Lisa Vanderpump and drama with sisters Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton.

As previously mentioned, Richards is the only original cast member of RHOBH that's still on the show, lasting all 15 season so far. This is quite a distinction, one she shares with fellow Housewives like New Jersey's Teresa Giudice. In the same interview, Kyle spoke about the times she's considered leaving the show, offering:

With her kids grown and her separation from Mauricio showing no signs of slowing down, Kyle Richards' life is wide open. And as such, it would make sense if she decided to depart RHOBH and have some much-needed privacy. Even if fans like me don't want to see her go.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming in its entirety on Peacock, and Season 15 is expected to premiere December 15th as part of the 2025 TV schedule.

The Lincoln Lawyer’s cast for Season 4 has grown exponentially today, and it seems like all of them could impact Mickey’s case in some way, shape or form. For those who don’t remember, Season 3 ended with Mickey’s arrest, and this new season will follow him as he defends himself. Now, Kyle Richards, Jason Butler Harner and Scott Lawrence have joined the cast, and it seems to me that two of their characters could cause problems while the other might be helpful.

Kyle Richards Is Set To Play A ‘Beverly Hills Fabulous’ Woman, And I’m Worried About How Lorna Will Handle Her Case And Mickey’s

A couple of months after The Lincoln Lawyer’s Season 4 renewal, Deadline announced the new cast members, and that list included Kyle Richards.

According to her character’s description, Celeste will be a client of Haller & Associates. She apparently wants to hire Lorna, Mickey’s ex-wife and fellow lawyer, as her divorce attorney.

While this could be a great thing for Lorna, I do fear that it could be an overwhelming lift alongside Mickey’s case, especially if the Real Housewives star’s character proves to be a tougher client.

The description says Celeste was referred to Lorna by “a previous satisfied client,” so maybe it will be a good thing. However, I worry that casting a notable name in a role like this could mean there’s some juicy tension in the story.

I know Lorna is a fantastic lawyer, and a case like this could help her career. However, the showrunner told me that “the whole family has to come together to save Mickey” this season, and that should obviously include Lorna. And I'm slightly concerned that the multitasking might be too much.

Jason Butler Harner Will Play A Robbery Homicide Detective Who Sounds Like A Problem

Now, while Kyle Richards’ character is causing more of a minor worry, I’m actually quite concerned about Ozark’s Jason Butler Harner’s detective.

According to the report, he’ll play Detective Drucker in this book-to-screen adaptation of The Law of Innocence. Now, that by itself shouldn’t be too concerning. However, his character description goes on to say that he’s also “an especially determined adversary for Mickey.”

Well, that’s not good…

The guy is apparently a seasoned detective, so I’m sure he’s an effective crime solver. However, with him being a known “adversary” of Mickey, I fear that he’ll try and skew the case in the prosecution’s favor rather than find out who actually committed the murder and framed Manuel García-Rulfo’s character.

Scott Lawrence Is Playing Judge Stone, Whole Could Potentially Make A Big Impact On Mickey’s Future

Rounding out this new cast is Paradise’s Scott Lawrence, and of these three, his character, Judge Stone, seems like the guy who could help Mickey the most.

The fact that he’s a “former prosecutor” with a “prickly attitude and touch sentencing” is intimidating. However, right after that, it states that “his rulings seek to treat both sides equally.” If that’s indeed true, it means Mickey stands a fighting chance.

Also, if he’s a former prosecutor and long-time judge, maybe he has a good relationship with Neve Campbell’s Maggie, who we know will play a bigger role this season.

Overall, I think he might be able to make it so that Mickey stands a fighting chance against a prosecution that will likely be out to take him down. So, cross your fingers and hope, everyone.

Whether these three new additions end up being Mickey’s friends or foes, we know Season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer will be worth the watch. The stage is set for an epic story about the titular attorney fighting for his innocence. So, you better believe I’ll use my Netflix subscription to tune in and see how he interacts with this new cast of characters.

Over the years, Bravo's Real Housewives franchise (which is streaming with a Peacock subscription) has become a huge sensation. Some of the shows are up there as the best reality shows of all time, allowing fans who watch women of a certain age and privilege in their complicated friendships. It turns out that one of those fans is actor/director Ben Stiller, who weighed in on the drama between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley on RHOBH.

About a month ago while promoting Severance Season 2 (which is streaming with an AppleTV+ subscription) Ben Still told Bravo's Andy Cohen that he's up to date on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, even complimenting the show's editing. His fandom jumped out on Twitter this week, when he was reacting to Kyle and Dorit finally having a heart-to-heart at the most recent episode. As he shared:

Honestly, same. Kyle and Dorit have been a united front throughout most of their time together on RHOBH. And while there's been some discrepancy about exactly how close the two Housewives actually were, Season 14 has shown them at odds in just about every episode. That is, until the most recent episode.

Things definitely got spicy at Dorit's 4th of July Party, where she immediately clashed with Sutton Stracke. While Sluttons like me were bummed to see her storm out of the party early, it made room for an interesting exchange between Kyle and Dorit (to the delight of Ben Stiller). While Kyle and Dorit originally began bickering again, they managed to pump the breaks and decided to have a chat away from the other women inside. The two touched base about their respective separations, and the many connections they share in this regard. It was touching to see them finally find common ground, so I don't blame Stiller for weighing in.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is an iconic city of the franchise, one that can be aspirational thanks to wealth of the cast. But now that the Zoolander icon is caught up and tweeting along with new episodes, I'd love to see him spread his wings and try out some other cities.

Specifically, I think Ben Stiller owes it to himself to try out The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. RHOSLC is truly top tier Housewives, and each season manages to top the next in regards to sheer entertainment value. From the various Sprinter Van fights, to Jen Shah's arrest and conviction, to the Reality Von Tease reveal, it feels like the Varsity Squad of the franchise. Since Stiller is a storyteller himself, I have to assume he'll enjoy watching these dynamics fall out, especially since the cast is so hilariously bonkers. For now, we know he'll be tuning into Bravo when new episodes of RHOBH air Tuesdays as part of the 2025 TV schedule.

She subtly fired back at Mauricio Umansky in the midst of split drama, and I’m totally on her side. Somebody cue the RHOBH theme song!

Kyle and Mauricio's marriage issues took center stage for the last season of RHOBH, with fans wondering if they'd be able to work through it. While some fans thought that Kyle and Mo didn't actually split, there's been mounting evidence that their marriage might be over. And after Mauricio was recently photographed kissing a woman in an airport, Kyle has removed the word "wife" from her bio on Instagram. And after months of public shenanigans, I'm personally glad that OG of Beverly Hills is finally firing back. 

Over the last year, it's been obvious that the Richards-Umansky clan has had some trouble. But Kyle supported his run on Dancing with The Stars, and filmed his show Buying Beverly Hills (which can be streamed with a Netflix subscription). Unfortunately, that level of respect seemingly wasn't reciprocated by Mo, which is why Kyle is finally fighting back.

This new photos of Mauricio kissing a woman in an airport likely could have been avoided, as it's a very public place to make such a declaration of affection. And given the timing of Kyle removing "wife" from her IG bio, fans assume that it's a direct response to those viral images of her husband circulating online.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Umansky has made headlines for his behavior in the midst of his separation from Kyle Richards. Back in December he went viral for photos of him drinking and skiing with two women wearing nothing but towels. And during his time competing on Dancing with the Stars, he was photographed holding hands with his coach Emma Slater. 

Throughout all this drama, Kyle Richards has largely been keeping her cards close to the chest. While she's admitted that it's been an emotional struggle, she hasn't come out publicly against her husband... despite what fans might be saying. Removing the word "wife" from her IG isn't exactly a declaration of war, but it shows that she's standing up for her public image in the midst of their marital issues.

Kyle is the longest running cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and we've seen her bare it all and fight with her siblings and friends during the last 13 seasons. And that's why I'm ready for her to stand in her power after all the shenanigans that Mo has been up to over the last year. We'll just have to see if that includes her infamous friendship with Morgan Wade.

That's what "sources close to the estranged couple" have been telling TMZ, especially with the second season of Mauricio's Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills set to drop on Friday, March 22. Like the current season of RHOBH, the reality estate-focused reality series will allegedly feature Richards and Umansky's split as a major storyline. 

Umansky told People magazine that he and Kyle had a "choice" to pretend like their estrangement "wasn't happening" while filming both of their respective reality shows—the Beverly Hills pair announced their separation publicly in a joint Instagram statement in July 2023—but the broker felt that "would’ve been awkward on television." He told the outlet: 

However, sources told TMZ that "while they haven't confirmed new relationships... they've both been living such separate lives" and that despite the fact that Kyle and Mauricio have maintained that they're still living under the same roof, "they have multiple homes they can bounce between if things get tense."

And many Real Housewives fans believe that the estranged couple are deliberately keeping their separation drama going to fuel viewership numbers. Twitter user @solidgoldbabe took to the social media platform to complain about Kyle and Mauricio not offering up real details about what's going on between them:

Instagram follower counts have been the source of much celebrity romantic drama lately, from people wondering if Zendaya and Tom Holland are having relationship issues after she wiped her social-media page clean, to break-up rumors swirling around Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade after he unfollowed everyone on Insta. (All is well in both of those relationships, FYI.) And a similar thing has seemingly cropped up between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and country-music crooner Morgan Wade, as fans have been questioning the current status between the two women after Wade cleared out all but three photos from her Instagram grid.

Previously, the singer's page was full of personal pics, including several with Kyle, now there's only a trio of work-related posts announcing Morgan's upcoming "Crossing State Lines" tour dates. However, the social scrub down has nothing to do with her relationship with Richards, Wade assured fans, with the singer recently taking to Instagram to dispel the rift rumors. 

The 29-year-old musician posted a picture of herself with Richards to her Instagram Story (via Collider) with the message:

In fact, Richards and Wade were spotted out and about together in Southern California as recently as Tuesday, February 13, with The Daily Mail reporting that they enjoyed lunch at Urth Caffe in West Hollywood and later shopped at the Louis Vuitton store.

The RHOBH personality has been romantically linked to Wade ever since she announced her split from her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, in July 2023. However, Kyle and Morgan have maintained that their connection is simply a close friendship. Wade appeared alongside Richards during the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (which you can catch up on with an active Peacock subscription), and she cast the reality TV star as the love interest in her "Fall in Love with Me" music video last year:

Much of RHOBH Season 13 has centered around Richards' very public problems in her marriage to Umansky, with Kyle having a tough time opening up about their marital troubles on camera and there being a lot of confusion over whether or not the couple actually split. Despite the rough time in the Richards-Umansky household, the estranged spouses have shown up in support of each other, like when Kyle popped up at the Dancing with the Stars premiere to cheer on her competing hubby.

However, Richards recently revealed to ET that she doesn't know how she and Mauricio's current arrangement, which sees the exes still living under the same roof, will last:

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is halfway through its thirteen season and I have yet to feel a spark that has me excited to tune in every Wednesday to catch up with the ladies. By this point, I should be on the edge of my seat, fully engrossed in the drama and on a side, like I was with RHOOC (Go Team Heather). And yet, I can’t bring myself to care about any of the storylines taking place. 

Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was supposed to be a breath of fresh air into the franchise, but things feel more stale than ever. I was hoping that with Lisa Rinna and Kathy Hilton both leaving, pointless arguments between the ladies would end, but the opposite seems to be true. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Is Lacking In All Areas

At first, I thought it was just me losing interest in the hit Bravo franchise, but the other iterations are keeping me entertained so that can’t be the case. And I’m not alone in my criticism, so something definitely isn’t working with the current season. 

Instead of focusing on Kyle’s alleged marital struggles like the teaser had promised viewers, fans like myself were given a several-episode arc regarding speculation over why she was wearing a new ring. Maybe this would have been a big deal if she only ever wore her wedding band, but the actress and entrepreneur has a vast collection of jewelry, so this isn’t as shocking as her costars made it seem. After twelve episodes I’m still left wondering if her marriage to Mo is in danger, or if it’s all tabloid fodder. 

Even the ladies’ individual storylines -- like Erika’s journey to create a Vegas residency, Garcelle’s story about her struggles with raising teenage sons, and Sutton’s dating life -- aren’t keeping me entertained the way they might have in past season. 

The women clearly don’t get along. The veteran cast members seem more robotic than ever before, as if they’re too aware that they are being filmed and have now had proper media training,. And there seems to be a lack of lavish vacations. Overall, season 13 is a total snooze fest, and I’m not the only one who thinks that. 

RHOBH Super Fans Aren’t Happy With The Season Either 

I totally understand that not every season of The Real Housewives is going to be exciting, but when the entire fan base is flooding social media with their disinterest, there’s definitely something wrong. After all, fans rarely agree on anything when it comes to the franchise. 

Case in point, the viewers can’t even agree on whose to blame for the boring season. X user @NancyVicious3 seems to be blaming new cast member Annemarie, writing: 

In all fairness to Annemarie, the season was boring before she joined, so I don’t think she’s the root cause. The unofficial Team Lisa Renna camp seems to blame the lackluster season on the actress not being a part of the show. Regardless, one thing that’s certain is that this cast isn’t doing it for RHOBH fanatics. 

The other issue is that the series is lacking in what made it so watchable to begin with. As X User @Realitytvguru13 tweeted:

Do you hear that Bravo and Andy Cohen? We want more glam and nonsense wealthy shenanigans, and less of whatever is going on during this season. 

With twelve episodes still left of the season, I haven’t written off the season completely but I am skeptical if they can turn things around. One thing is for certain, if things don’t improve I think it’s time Cohen and the other executive producers consider trying something new - like cutting out a key negative element of the franchise: alcohol. Or perhaps, the cable network needs to give RHOBH the New York treatment with a total reboot.

The Real Housewives has grown into a massive franchise, one that is big enough to necessitate a yearly convention for fans. BravoCon 2023 happened over the weekend in Las Vegas, and there was plenty of wild news coming from that event. That includes Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards opening up about her marriage, and what it’s like filming amid Mauricio troubles.

RHOBH OG Kyle Richards has been on every season of the show, with her marriage to Mauricio Umansky taking a few hits over the years. But this season they’re at the center of the narrative, with the couple making headlines for separating. While repping Beverly Hills at BravoCon, Richards opened up about what it was like filming amid her interpersonal drama. The second episode of Season 13 saw Dori ask Kyle about her marriage, to uncomfortable results. Richards explained to Deadline why she reacted that way, saying:

And clam up she did. Since Richards’ separation with Umansky seemingly happened after Season 14 wrapped, it seems like the Halloween Ends actress was trying to keep her private struggles away from the camera. But that’s a bit of a fool’s errand when you’re a Real Housewife. 

There’s a ton of mystery surrounding exactly what is going on between Kyle and Mauricio, who were the golden couple of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for years. Rumors are swirling, including allegations of an affair surrounding both of them. Although Richards did attend the premiere of Dancing With The Stars to support her husband, despite the separation. While appearing on the RHOBH panel at BravoCon, Richards offered more perspective on what was happening as she filmed Season 13, saying:

Talk about a strained relationship. And the tension that Kyle and Mo felt is understandably coming through in their scenes together on RHOBH Season 13. All eyes are on what’s happening with the Halloween star, with rumors swirling about Richards’ body amid photo shop rumors and weight loss. And only time will tell if the former couple find a way to make amends, especially as they’re still living in the same house together. 

Of course, there’s another Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple who is also facing rumors lately: Dorit and PK Kemsley. Dorit spoke to ET at BravoCon to address talks about her own relationship, and chatter online that she and Mauricio were having an affair. In her words:

Since we’re just a few episodes into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, it should be fascinating to see how these plot points ultimately play out. Dorit is also still recovering from the trauma of her break-in, which might be the reason for some tension within her marriage. Only time will tell.

Dancing With the Stars is back on ABC with Season 32. While there were worries that the show could be pushed back because of the strikes, the premiere moved forward without any problems. As the new star-studded cast showed off their dancing skills on the ballroom floor for the premiere this week, fans weren’t the only ones tuned in. Family and friends of the celebrities and pros came out to support too, and this included Mauricio Umansky’s estranged wife, Kyle Richards.

The pair, who can be seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, have had a rough year, as they noted in a joint Instagram statement in July. They said this year has been “the most challenging one of our marriage. But we love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.” Despite their rough patch, though, Richards made sure to show up to the DWTS premiere to support her partner. 

Via Us Weekly, Umansky’s sister, Sharon Umansky Benton, shared an Instagram Story featuring Richards at the premiere alongside three of her daughters, two of whom she shares with Mauricio Umansky. Richards even encouraged her followers to vote for Umansky and his partner, Emma Slater, on Instagram before the episode started. She made sure to share all of the important information about voting, which will definitely continue to be helpful for as long as her husband is on the series:

Over the summer, there were rumors that Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky may have split, but there was more evidence supporting the fact they hadn’t. They spent the Fourth of July weekend together, even though their joint statement came out on the patriotic holiday. Their family also took a vacation to Italy in August, and Richards documented it all on her Instagram. It seems like their relationship is doing well right now, and they are working through the hardships. No matter what has happened between them and where they stand, Richards is still showing support for her hubby, which is all that matters. 

Umansky and Emma Slater danced the Jive for the premiere and got a 15 out of 30. They were able to make it through to next week, thanks to the fans who voted for them. His wife will likely continue to be his cheerleader as the two continue to work on their relationship. Based on her appearance and post about the show, it’s clear that they still care for each other, even if they may not be as close as they once were. Relationships are all about overcoming obstacles.

The Real Housewives franchise is a behemoth force on the small screen, with Bravo airing multiple new seasons at any point. Some of the cities still have a few OGs on the cast, and for Beverly Hills that’s none other than Kyle Richards. The 54 year-old actress/TV personality recently responded to the photoshop fail that had the internet in a tizzy. And she didn’t exactly mince words.

Bravo fans know that Richards has been making headlines lately thanks to her separation from Mauricio Umansky. There were also rumors about Kyle dating a woman, leading to plenty of eyes on her social media in order to find clues about the truth. Perhaps that’s why she went viral when a now-deleted Instagram post seemingly showed off a photoshopping fail. The post itself was picked up by Page Six’s IG, which you can see below:

In the image you can see that Richards’ right arm is mysteriously blurred. Fans assumed this was an accidental swipe when photoshopping the image, and quickly pointed it out in the comments section. And since the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star left the original image on her Facebook, it was readily available for all to see. Eventually the chatter got so loud that she commented on Page Six’s post, saying:

There you have it. Sounds like Kyle Richards is putting the blame on Michael Coste, who she posed with in the now viral image. And while she admits it was photoshop, she claims she didn’t try to edit the image herself. Although she did accidentally post the version that quickly circulated online. 

Considering just how many headline Richards has been making lately, I have to assume that there will be a ton of eyes on the upcoming season of RHOBH. In addition to ongoing rumors about her relationship status, there’s also been a ton of conversation about Kyle’s weight loss, especially as various Housewives in the Bravo-verse are using ozempic. 

Despite all the chatter going on about Kyle Richards, she does seem to be standing in her power. In addition to clapping back at the Page Six comment about photoshop, she also recently starred a sultry music with singer Morgan Wade, who was the woman she was rumored to be having an affair with. After battling with Michael Myers in the Halloween franchise, she’s seemingly not afraid of much.

And smart money says viewership numbers are going to be high considering the rumors of RHOBH OG Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky splitting up. Although there’s more evidence that they might not have called it quits after all.

Given her long tenure on Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards’ marriage has been the subject of a number of rumors over the years. But the internet exploded when rumors about the two breaking up started circulating online. The couple eventually issued a statement which seemed to indicate that the marriage might not be quite over yet. Namely because the Real Housewife was sharing photos with Umansky from their time together during the 4th of July weekend. The images originated on Richards’ Instagram story, you can see one such photo below:

Well, that certainly doesn’t look like a couple who has called it quits. Despite their rumored separation, it seems like the Umasky couple is still spending time together as a family– including their four daughters. Is there hope for them to work things out? It certainly feels hopeful given the Halloween actress’ social media posts. Although some fans are thinking that Richards’ recent weight loss might have to do with the stress.

These images and video from the 4th of July Weekend seemingly show that the entire family was together in Aspen. Those of us who have watched RHOBH will know this is a special place for the couple, especially that hat store Kemo Sabe that was featured last season. There are rumors that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna-less season is extending its shooting this season to cover the ongoing situation, which should hopefully give the couple’s many fans some clarity about the drama. Especially since there are also rumors that Richards is engaged in a new relationship with a woman. 

The stories about Kyle and Mauricio went so viral largely because they’ve been RHOBH’s strongest couple throughout the last 13 seasons. Longtime fans also cited an infamous scene from back in Season 1’s “Dinner Party From Hell”, where medium Allison Dubois claimed that they would break up after their kids grew up. For her part, Dubois issued her own statement about the reported split between the couple.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards has proven over the past few months that she’s not afraid to show a little skin. After posing nearly nude for a sultry magazine cover in October, the actress apparently continued her health and fitness journey, as evidenced by a recent bikini pic on her social media. Richards is proud of the work she’s done, too, disputing claims that her dramatic weight loss is the result of medication, but rather seven months of sobriety.

Several of the actress’ RHOBH co-stars were among the commenters who couldn’t believe their eyes when Kyle Richards showed off her toned body while sunbathing in an Instagram photo: 

“Calm before the storm” was the caption, and I’m not sure what storm she was preparing for, but her waterside tanning session certainly was met with some thunderous praise, as well as her fair share of skeptics. Kyle Richards recently answered fans’ questions on Instagram Stories, where she said she'd stopped drinking alcohol, and that was the reason she’s been able to drop some pounds. When asked about her recent sobriety, the actress responded (via US Weekly): 

She told another fan that exercise has played a big role as well, as she said she uses her Peloton about three times a week. The Halloween Ends actress — who was sinfully underused in the trilogy’s third installment — apparently decided to make a change following a trip to Europe, she said in a recent Amazon Live session. She divulged: 

I can imagine cutting out things like alcohol and sugar — on top of her workouts — would result in some positive changes after she was apparently not feeling her best after her travels abroad. 

Kyle Richards was not afraid to clap back at followers, either, with some believing her new, slimmer shape must be either from surgery or the diabetes medication Ozempic. In the comments of the bikini post, she responded to one accusation:

Whatever her methods (as long as they're healthy) we love to see the pride she's been showing in her body, and we will all presumably be seeing more of Kyle Richards’ new look when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hits the 2023 TV schedule for Season 13. It’s a great time to be a horror fan, with many of the best horror movies returning to theaters thanks to new sequels. This trend was at least partly started because 2018’s Halloween was such a critical and box office success, with filmmaker David Gordon Green tasked with creating two more sequels. The threequel Halloween Ends arrived last weekend, and I’ve got to admit I’m disappointed over Kyle Richards’ character Lindsey Wallace.

In Halloween Kills, David Gordon Green and company brought in a number of actors from John Carpenter’s 1979 original slasher to reprise their roles. This included Real Housewives of Beverly Hills icon Kyle Richards, who reprised her role as Lindsey Wallace. She was one of the only characters to survive Michael’s massacre through Haddonfield, and was confirmed early on to be appearing in Halloween Ends. Unfortunately her character (who once again rocked those controversial bangs) was largely kept out of the action of the recent thriller, which is a bummer considering how audience responded to her fighting off Michael in the last movie.

Kyle Richards pops up a few times throughout the first act of Halloween Ends. It’s clear that Lindsey has a close relationship with both Laurie and Allyson, which was definitely a heartwarming aspect of her story. Unfortunately, the last time we saw her was back at the bar she was working at, and she’s completely absent from the movie’s third act.

One of the most common critiques of Halloween Ends is that it features a surprisingly small amount of screen time for Michael Myers, instead focusing on newcomer Corey. As a result, there are far fewer of The Shape’s chase and kill scenes, especially when compared to Kills. And therefore there weren’t a ton of opportunities for Lindsey to reunite with the masked villain of the franchise. Maybe it’s for this reason that fans are going to be re-watching the Halloween movies in order this October.

Still, I wish that she got to be involved in the final confrontation at Laurie’s house. Allyson got a few blows in, and it would have been great to see Kyle Richards’ character using the same ingenuity from her last appearance. Another opportunity for Halloween Ends to have given Lindsey some more love would have been during the movie’s finale. After Michael is killed by Laurie and her granddaughter, she drives the body through Haddonfield before putting it through an industrial shredder and guaranteeing he was dead forever. The town forms a procession of cars, with folks looking on from the streets. Unfortunately Kyle Richards’ character was noticeably absent from the sequence, where she could have easily been in the backseat of Laurie’s car or simply watching it from a distance. Instead she simply doesn’t appear in the latter third of the divisive sequel. I doubt I was the only superfan disappointed in this, especially as Richards was involved in the promotion of the slasher.

In the end Lindsey Wallace never faced off against Michael Myers in Halloween Ends, nor did she reunite with her bag of bricks. While this prevented Kyle Richards from accidentally breaking her nose again, I personally would have loved for the OG survivor to be involved in Halloween Ends’ ending.

Kyle Richards was photographed by Mike Ruiz for Photobook Magazine’s latest cover alongside two-time world kickboxing world champion, Thomas Canestraro. It’s a rather provocative cover, which the actress shared on Instagram alongside the following caption: 

Upon sharing nearly naked photos of herself with her arms and leg wrapped around a bare-bummed Canestraro, Kyle Richards doesn’t want negative chatter online about it. The Halloween Ends actress said that the photographer had to convince her to pose for the pictures, but she didn’t say yes without getting the approval of her family, including her husband of 26 years, Mauricio Umansky, whom they FaceTimed during the shoot. 

Richards looks powerful and badass on the front cover of Photobook Magazine, plus, let’s be honest here, this cover is just on fire. A photoshoot like this is one people will remember, and as Kyle Richards also said in her post, it’s art! I think it’s time for us all to skip the part of this conversation where people might shame women for going the seductive route in photos. She looks good and she even got the green light from her family before going for it, so there's nothing left to do but hype her up or move on. 

Upon posting, celebrities like Tori Spelling, Lance Bass and Jersey Shore’s Snooki cheered her on, letting her know how good she looks. During the magazine interview, Richards spoke about her time as a child star, her experience on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and being part of the final act of the Halloween trilogy, which is set to be Jamie Lee Curtis’ last rodeo as scream queen, Laurie Strode. 

One of Kyle Richards' first roles was in 1978’s Halloween, as Lindsey, the young girl Laurie is babysitting when all hell breaks loose and Michael Myers terrorizes Haddonfield. Over 40 years later, Richards and Curtis are back together again, after previously being in Halloween Kills, this time for one last stand-off against The Shape.

How David Gordon Green’s upcoming horror movie finale, Halloween Ends will play out has been heavily guarded except for the slightest teases given here and there by the crew and cast members–such as when the Michael Myers actor teased the shocking ending. Now, the original scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis, is giving our latest tease.

The new look is in the form of a screen grab from Halloween Ends of long-time Lindsey Wallace actress Kyle Richards, posted to Curtis' personal Instagram. She looks to be in the Halloween mood with her new goth look and tarot cards.

Kyle Richards first reprised the role of Lindsey Wallace, 40 years after originating the role in the original 1978 Halloween aka one of the greatest horror films of all time. In the original film, Lindsey, along with Tommy Doyle, are the two children Laurie Strode is tasked with babysitting on the fateful night Michael Myers comes home. 

While Kyle Richards's role in Halloween Kills was rather small, she was one of the few legacy characters to survive coming face to face once again with Michael. Still, this tease of her character’s return has left me with some questions. Is this an in-universe Halloween costume, or did the events of Halloween Kills cause Lindsey to look for answers to how to stop Michael in a deck of tarot cards? Could she be inquiring about the fate of some of the returning characters? Could this be a hint to a turn toward the supernatural in David Gordon Greene’s last Halloween outing? 

David Gordon Green’s Halloween reboot was a breath of fresh air when it was released in 2018. Halloween 2018 embraced the original with nods to John Carpenter's classic while jettisoning the sequel's campier aspects–the cult of thorn, anyone? With such a promising start to a new trilogy, it was somewhat deflating to see how mixed the critical reception to Halloween Kills was.

In my opinion, Halloween Kills squandered a lot of the legacy characters' return–especially Michael C. Hall's turn as Tommy Doyle. However, Tommy Doyle has had two chances as a returning legacy character. Famously, Paul Rudd played Tommy in the much-maligned 1995 Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. I just hope Ends gives Lindsey Wallace a better send-off than Tommy had in either of his returns. 

Regardless of how the trilogy comes to an end, Halloween Kills left fans with many questions. Here’s hoping Halloween Ends can answer the fan's questions while giving us a satisfying goodbye to Jamie Lee Curtis and Kyle Richards when it hits the movie release schedule on October 14.

The pressure is for Halloween Ends to deliver, as it'll mark Jamie Lee Curtis' final performance as franchise hero Laurie Strode. The footage has been limited leading up to the movie's release, and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills icon Kyle Richards has been missing from the marketing. But that changed with the final trailer, which you can see above. While she appears quickly, we got our first glimpse of Lindsey Wallace, and it looks like she's finally sharing a scene with Laurie. 

The trailer opens with Laurie Strode narrating, revealing Ends is set four years since the event of the last two Halloween movies. Fans have been expecting the time jump, with the franchise's timeline catching up to the real world. But soon Michael Myers surprisingly reappears, and seemingly kills someone in the sewers of Haddonfield.

Shortly after that kill, Halloween Ends' final trailer offers the first look at Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace. She's one of the few characters to survive the events of Kills, and it looks like she may be working at the Haddonfield bar Mick's that she was hanging in during the start of that movie. We get to see Jamie Lee Curtis and Richards share their first scene together, and it seems like they've got a tight relationship after all these years. It remains to be seen how much of a role the Real Housewives star will have, and if she'll get another confrontation with Michael Myers. 

This final trailer for Halloween Ends also offered a glimpse at where Laurie's relationship with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) is at. Things look pretty tense in their exchange, where Allyson claims she's "obsessed with death." The two women lost their entire family in the last movie, including Judy Greer's Karen.

Aside from the long-awaited debut of Kyle Richards, this final trailer for Halloween Ends also offers glimpses at Michael Myers' various kills. The masked killer has never been deadlier, killing almost the entire cast of Halloween Kills throughout its runtime. And smart money says that things are going to be even more intense in the upcoming threequel. One of the longest sequences seems to be a home invasion, where thing get violent for an unsuspecting couple.

The stakes certainly feel high, although the cryptic footage has been missing some members of the cast. In addition to Kyle Richards, Andi Matichak’s Allyson is only briefly shown during one shot, despite being a leading character of David Gordon Green’s trilogy.

Given how Kyle Richards has been on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for its entire run, horror fans were curious to see how her acting chops would play out when she reprised her role as Lindsey Wallace in Halloween Kills. But she received a great deal of praise for her limited role, and was one one the only characters to survive their encounter with Michael Myers. While Richards is set to appear in Halloween Ends, it’s unclear how large of a role it’ll be or how she’ll factor into the story of the threequel.

Many hardcore fans of the franchise are hoping to see Jamie Lee Curtis and Kyle Richards share a scene in Halloween Ends, as they didn’t actually have any screentime together in Kills. But since Lindsey was one of the only survivors at the end of Michael’s rampage through Haddonfield, it would make sense that they might lean on each other in the wake of the mass tragedy. We’ll just have to wait for more footage to answer these questions.

While this quick teaser features plenty of scares and grisly action, we didn't get much of Andi Matichak's character Allyson. As for Kyle Richards' Lindsey Wallace, she didn't have any screen time at all in this first set of clips. The internet definitely noticed, with folks sounding off on Twitter about the Real Housewives OG being left out of the fun. Case in point:

Honestly, same. Given the fact that Lindsey Wallace is one of the only characters of the trilogy who are still alive, one might expect Kyle Richards to appear in the first marketing material. But we'll seemingly have to wait for a full-length trailer to see how the survivor has recovered from her latest encounter with Michael Myers. Luckily that wait shouldn't be long, as Halloween Ends will be in theaters this fall. 

Plenty of folks were disappointed in not seeing the Real Housewives royalty included in the first trailer for Halloween Ends. Some even said they wanted a re-do of the first Kyle-less trailer. As they posted,

The 53 year-old television personality/actress is having a rocky season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with both Richards and her husband the subject of some backlash over their behavior. As such, there were people on Twitter who were happy to not see her in the first trailer opposite Michael Myers, posting:

The actual story has been kept under wraps, as well as how the relationships Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode has are playing out. One fan addressed how much is being guarded, including Kyle Richards' role. As they put it,

In the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a heated argument ensued between newcomer Diana Jenkins and co-star Sutton Stracke over the former’s surprising decision to show up at Garcelle Beauvais’ b-day party. The freshman star had been candid in a group text about how a miscarriage had impacted her health last year and was the reason why she wouldn’t be able to attend the event. When Stracke confronted her about the change of heart, she ended up sharing that she also had two miscarriages in her lifetime. However, footage for next week’s episode shows Kyle Richards, who was a bystander to the debacle, denying that Stracke ever had a miscarriage at all. She’s now giving her side to an ever-escalating and awkward storyline.

What Did Kyle Richards Says About Sutton Stracke In The RHOBH Teaser?

In Bravo’s preview for the July 6th episode, Kyle Richards initially reacts to finding out about the miscarriages by saying that it felt like “bullshit.” The reality star continued that it was coming “out of the blue” and that they had “never heard this before.” The implication that was ultimately left hanging was that she was lying to seem compassionate toward Diana Jenkins’ situation or, perhaps, to make a moment all somehow about Stracke yet again.

RHOBH's Kyle Richards Responds To Miscarriage Controversy

Truth be told, Sutton Stracke had previously been accused of being the insensitive one of the group, but the shoe is on the other foot now. Kyle Richards’ future commentary incited a preemptive backlash from some fans online. One Twitter user in fact slammed it as “disgusting behavior” and one of the “darkest” RHOBH scenes in a long time. (Some might even say it was reminiscent of the Season 6 Munchausen scandal involving Gigi Hadid’s mom Yolanda.) Richards decided to address the chatter surrounding the teaser on her Instagram stories (via People). Apparently, she believes alcohol had something to do with her choice of words that night, saying:

The controversial clip in question also shows Sutton Stracke’s reaction to the insinuation by her supposed friend. She's heard telling Kyle Richards in the moment that her questioning her miscarriages was “the meanest thing you’ve ever said to me in my life.” In a confessional, Stracke added that it was “disappointing” of Richards and broke her heart to hear.

Kyle Richards continued in her stories that she rethought things over the morning after the party. She realized that Sutton Stracke was “sharing her story with Diana to connect in some way,” as opposed to sharing a lie to come across as empathetic. Richards, who is the longest running cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, stated that she immediately called Stracke and apologized – something which wasn’t shown in the cursory clip for the upcoming week’s episode. According to the Bravo alum, though, her co-star accepted her apology and they have since “moved on.”

There's More Trouble Ahead For Season 12 Of RHOBH

Yet, the miscarriage mishandle wasn’t the only thing the star got in hot water for. An additional preview shows the 53-year-old laughing about how Erika Jayne had told Garcelle Beauvais’ teenage son to “fuck off” during her birthday party. On her stories, the Halloween Kills alum again defended herself, claiming that the moment was taken out of its full context:

The TV personality added that the cast had “never seen Erika drink like that.” But instead of addressing the problem, it was “minimalized” when she opted to focus on the less important snafu with Garcelle Beauvais’ son. All in all, she said she feels “absolutely terrible watching these clips.”

Erika Jayne’s drinking and hefty legal problems will supposedly take more of center stage in the remainder of Season 12. And the drama seemingly gets so bad that it results in the feud between Erika Jayne and Garcelle Beauvais continuing in the off-season. Beauvais and Diana Jenkins have their own off-season tiff happening as well – what with Beauvais calling the Bosnian expat “uneducated” amidst a riff with a Black content creator.

So, basically, fans should buckle up because it’s going to be a bumpy ride from here on out for Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke and their co-stars. And the castmate going "full super-villain" might not be the one everyone thinks it is... Back in October, the public learned that armed robbers had successfully broken into the home of reality star Dorit Kemsley. She was unfortunately present when the crime took place but was able to remain relatively calm as the thieves threatened her life and made off with several expensive items. We’ve known since then that the home invasion was going to figure into Kemsley’s storyline on Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, given how she was in the midst of actually filming the series at the time. But reliving the scary ordeal through the eyes of millions of viewers was another story entirely for Kemsley, according to her co-star, Kyle Richards.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills did indeed document what happened. In the premiere episode on May 11, in fact, Dorit Kemsley was shown emotionally breaking down as she described the ordeal to her friends and husband PK (the latter of whom had only just arrived off a plane from London). Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the last remaining OG of the RHBH, Kyle Richards, was candid about Kemsley following through with therapy after the incident like she said she would. She added that her fellow castmate was kind of bombarded when it all came up again online and elsewhere, seven months after the fact. She said:

Following the initial events, the star made her first public statement, confirming that her two children (ages 5 and 7) were also in the house at the time. Thankfully, they remained sleeping and no one was physically harmed. Although on the show, Kemsley claimed that it was a close call, as she had just moved one of her kids to their own bed beforehand. Later on, the Bravo alum shared more harrowing details about how she had to repeatedly beg the robbers to not kill her because of her children. She continued that she was experiencing panic attacks from the trauma as a result.

It appeared that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills caught the 45-year-old oncamera in the midst of one of those panic attacks. Her husband had briefly left her outside Kyle Richards’ home to retrieve his phone inside, only for Dorit Kemsley to be seen sitting on a bench, quaking in visible fear. Reflecting on those sensitive moments that the show always happens to capture, Richards sarcastically told the outlet, “It's the gift that keeps on giving.” But all in all, she continued:

Those typical co-star arguments are certainly already popping off as well in Season 12, with Sutton Stracke at the center of the drama. She showed a decided lack of empathy for her colleague after the home invasion, which didn't sit well with Kyle Richards, and she also found herself at odds with Lisa Rinna over some supposed charity event tea on Watch What Happens Live. Stracke and Erika Jayne, too, are still at each other’s throats since last year, concerning the latter’s culpability in her legal issues. Yet Stracke might just have an ally in Crystal Kung Minkoff, who was shown in the season’s trailer defending the alleged embezzlement victims of Jayne and her ex, Tom Girardi.

Obviously, there’s a lot of drama going on, per usual. Hopefully, though, Dorit Kemsley is able to find some closure from the events she experienced without the show putting too much on her in the process. In 2018, the Halloween made a stunning comeback. The horror franchise spent years and years developing bad and unfortunate sequels (plus one reboot), but writer/director David Gordon Green successfully pulled off an impressive magic trick by disregarding most of the established canon and making a direct follow-up to John Carpenter’s classic original from 1978. It was a massive success, and the timeline continued in 2021 with the arrival of Halloween Kills. Soon, the new trilogy will come to its conclusion with the upcoming Halloween Ends – and the film has a great lineup of returning stars attached to be a part of the slasher mayhem.

There are still a number of questions that we have about the plot of Halloween Ends and how it will progress the established story – but one aspect of the production we do have firm details about is the ensemble cast. The new movie is pulling off a time jump from the events featured at the end of Halloween Kills, and it will feature a number of familiar faces (a.k.a. those who managed to successfully evade Michael Myers’ most recent rampage).

Jamie Lee Curtis

The true key to the success of Halloween’s semi-reboot was in bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and providing her with a fitting arc that did justice to the character. She has a very different part to play in Halloween Kills, given that she is in the hospital recovering from multiple stab wounds, but thanks to the aforementioned time jump in Halloween Ends, we expect to see her fully recovered and ready to finish her half-century-long battle with Michael Myers once and for all.

Jamie Lee Curtis has had a great career resurgence since 2018, not only thanks to the new Halloween movies, but also thanks to roles in phenomenal movies including Knives Out and Everything Everywhere All At Once. In addition to having completed filming Halloween Ends (during production she shared some great behind-the-scenes photos), she is also in the upcoming video game adaptation Borderlands, which doesn’t presently have a release date.

Kyle Richards

Kyle Richards was just nine years old when she first played Lindsey Wallace in John Carpenter’s Halloween, and in one of the franchise’s best moves yet, she was brought back into the canon un 2021 to reprise her role in Halloween Kills. She teams up with a number of Michael Myers survivors in the sequel, and while most of them don’t survive Round 2 with the inhuman serial killer, she proves to be an exception, and she will be back to square off with him again in Halloween Ends.

The news that Lindsey Wallace would be back in the upcoming movie was confirmed in December 2021 prior to the start of production on the film. Richards also continues to be a part of the ensemble in the reality series The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, which she has been on since 2010.

Andi Matichak

In 2018, audiences were not only reintroduced to Laurie Strode, but we had the chance to meet multiple generations of Strode women, with Judy Greer introduced as Laurie’s daughter, Karen Nelson, and Andi Matichak playing Karen’s daughter, Allyson. Karen doesn’t end up surviving Halloween Kills (much to the dismay of Greer), but Allyson’s story is continuing, and she will be back fighting side-by-side with her grandmother in Halloween Ends.

Allyson not only loses her mother at the end of the last Halloween movie, but Michael Myers also kills her boyfriend (Dylan Arnold) right in front of her. One can imagine that her passion to settle the score will be intense by the time we catch up with her in Halloween Ends, and it will be exciting to see her dynamic with Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie.

James Jude Courtney

At present, we are not clear on what goes down in the four year gap between the final scenes of Halloween Kills and the events that will open Halloween Ends. Has Michael Myers been in hiding, or has he just been constantly rampaging? That’s a big question we don’t have a full answer to just yet – but one thing is certain: Michael will be back in the upcoming sequel, and he will once again be played by James Jude Courtney.

The 6’3” Courtney first put on the blue jumpsuit and William Shatner mask for 2018’s Halloween, and he has been invading the nightmares of movie-goers since then. He’ll surely be silently stalking and stabbing up a storm in Halloween Ends – though we also can’t forget that he isn’t the only actor who plays The Shape in the semi-reboot trilogy…

Nick Castle

While James Jude Courtney now does the majority of the work in the Halloween movies as Michael Myers, David Gordon Green also ties the new sequels to John Carpenter’s original by featuring appearances from the man who originally wore the iconic costume: Nick Castle. After briefly appearing in the 2018 film, the actor had a small bit in Halloween Kills that didn’t make it into the final cut, but Castle has personally confirmed that he will have another “fun cameo” in Halloween Ends.

Prior to 2018’s Halloween, the 1978 movie was the only time that Nick Castle had played The Shape, but he is now back to being a staple of the franchise – albeit in a much smaller way than either Jamie Lee Curtis or Kyle Richards.

Will Patton (?)

Now we come to one of the cast question marks for Halloween Ends. In both of the previous two films, Will Patton has played Officer Frank Hawkins – a Haddonfield cop who was on duty in 1978 when Michael Myers first attacked the Illinois town. He forms a bond with Laurie Strode at the end of Halloween Kills, sharing his thoughts on the nature of Michael and why he seems invincible, and it makes all the sense in the world that he would be back in action in Halloween Ends.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have confirmation regarding Will Patton’s return as Officer Hawkins. The studio has not released an official cast list, and he hasn’t been featured in any behind-the-scenes photos on social media. It feels safe to assume that Patton will be a part of the ensemble we see on screen when Halloween Ends plays on the big screen, but as of right now we can’t be totally sure.

One gets the sense that the entirety of the ensemble featured in Halloween Ends has not yet been revealed, but we will continue to keep this article updated as we learn about more actors getting in on the Michael Myers-centric chaos. Production on the horror sequel concluded in early 2022, and the film will be released in theaters on October 14 (just in time for the titular holiday).

The story will be wrapped up with Halloween Ends, which also may be Jamie Lee Curtis’ swan song as final girl Laurie Strode. Moviegoers were thrilled when Kyle Richards was announced to be returning for Halloween Ends, which will be her third time playing Lindsey Wallace. With the wine glass next to her in the photo, I can’t help but get Real Housewives vibes from this trio. I’m thinking Lindsey’s catchphrase could go something like this: “I may look soft, but this pillow case is full of bricks.” RHOBH fans will also be happy to see the return of her signature bangs for the character.

Not much is known about Halloween Ends, but the pressure is definitely on for David Gordon Green and company to deliver an appropriate finale for Jamie Lee Curtis’ beloved character. The previous two movies each had unique tones: the 2018 sequel focused on Laurie’s trauma while Halloween Kills made Haddonfield itself a character. It looks like the threequel will once again tell a more contained story.

While almost nothing concrete about Halloween Ends has been revealed, there are a few exciting details that have already been released. The project will feature a time jump, allowing the timeline in-universe to catch up to us IRL. There were also reports that the ongoing pandemic will also be brought into the story, and I can only imagine how much more isolated Laurie Strode has become as a result.

The horror genre has been in a thrilling renaissance for the last few years, with both new and beloved franchises hitting theaters. Case in point: David Gordon Green’s current Halloween trilogy, which released a new sequel this past October. Now Halloween Ends has confirmed the return of a key Halloween Kills star, and I’m psyched.

Halloween Kills hit theaters in time for the titular holiday, being released in both theaters and streaming on Peacock. The story will be wrapped up with the sequel Halloween Ends, which is currently expected to arrive in October of 2022. And now we know one cast member who will be joining Jamie Lee Curtis on that bloody adventure: Real Housewives icon Kyle Richards.

Decades before starring in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards was a child actress who played Lindsey Wallace in John Carpenter’s original Halloween movie. Fans were thrilled to see her reprise her role in Halloween Kills, going toe to toe with Michael Myers in the process. She was one of the only characters to survive the film, so it makes sense that she’ll be back for Halloween Ends.

This thrilling update about Halloween Ends comes to us from Variety, and is sure to get a big reaction from both horror and Real Housewives fans alike. Kyle Richards received a ton of love for her brief but memorable performance in Halloween Kills, so there’s no telling what Lindsey Wallace will be up to when she returns to the big screen. Richards herself was quoted by the outlet, saying:

Sign me up. Indeed, Jamie Lee Curtis didn’t share any scenes with most of Halloween Kills’ supporting cast throughout the movie’s runtime. After all, she was hospitalized and recovering from surgery due to an intense stab wound by Michael. But Halloween Ends might provide the opportunity for Curtis and Kyle Richards to have some screentime together.

Director David Gordon Green originally planned to film Halloween Kills and Ends back to back, but that ultimately fell to the wayside. And with the latter project expected to hit theaters in the fall of 2022, production will have to hit the ground running when cameras start rolling this January. We’ll just have to see what characters ultimately survive when Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode once again battle it out on the big screen.

Halloween is nearly upon us, with movies welcoming the return of the franchise of the same name. Halloween Kills is currently available in both theaters and Peacock, and is the second installment of David Gordon Green’s trilogy. But why didn’t Lindsey Wallace (Kyle Richards) and Tommy Doyle (Anthony Michael Hall) become a couple?

Lindsey and Tommy are the two kids being babysat during John Carpenter’s 1978 original Halloween movie. In Halloween Kills we meet them as adults, with former Brat Packer Anthony Michael Hall rocking a baseball bat in the process. Many fans expected he and Kyle Richards to share a romantic connection in the movie, and he addressed that discourse, saying:

Well, there you have it. While some Halloween fans might have expected a romantic connection between the two legacy characters, that simply wasn’t what happened on set. And according to Anthony Michael Hall, that’s largely due to the vision of filmmaker David Gordon Green.

Anthony Michael Hall’s comments to THR help to peel back the curtain on what it was like working on Halloween Kills. While he wasn’t in the original cast of John Carpenter’s movie, Hall shared scenes with a number of legacy actors like Jamie Lee Curtis and Kyle Richards. And while Lindsey and Tommy definitely shared a bond, it didn’t appear to be romantic in nature.

Halloween Kills picks up immediately after the events of the 2018 sequel, and reveals what happened to the town of Haddonfield when Michael Myers returned for another massacre. The survivors from his 1978 attack arm up to take him on themselves, including Tommy and Lindsey. And as a result, Kyle Richards and Anthony Michael Hall got the opportunity to portray the characters’ lifelong friendship.

Unfortunately for fans, Halloween Kills will seemingly be the last time we see Lindsey and Tommy share a scene in the current trilogy. Because after Haddonfield finally took down Michael Myers, the masked villain was able to miraculously rise and wipe out the angry mob. That includes Anthony Michael Hall’s character, with the actor recently addressing fan theories that Tommy lived.

As for Kyle Richards, it appears that she might be able to appear in the upcoming threequel Halloween Ends. Lindsey was able to survive her encounter with Michael, an honor that’s basically only shared by Laurie and Allyson. David Gordon Green has been hinting at Richards’ return, although nothing’s been officially confirmed as of yet.

While Halloween Kills was delayed a year, it’s finally coming out in just a few days, and the final movie, at least for now, is set for next Halloween. And with a name like Halloween Ends, it’s clear that the movie at least wants us all to believe this is really it. 

Little Lindsey Wallace from the original 1978 Halloween is all grown up, folks. In the upcoming Halloween Kills sequel, she's a mom herself now and helping her seriously fed-up old babysitter Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) take Michael Myers down for good. (Hopefully.) However, the intense hype surrounding the film calls into question whether the actress who plays Lindsey (Kyle Richards) will leave her longtime position on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Other cast shakeups are certainly happening in the Bravo universe, and Richards discusses her potential exit being yet another one.

It's not hyperbole to suggest that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is just as intense as Halloween Kills looks. (In terms of high drama, not actual knife usage or kills.) The show's eleventh season just concluded this week and as promised, Erika Jayne’s extensive legal problems were a major storyline. But make no mistake, a lot wouldn't have happened without the notorious meddling of Kyle Richards. She's the longest-running castmate, with over ten years under her belt, and her reign might just be coming to an end. When talking to Pedestrian, the actress said that "eventually" she's going to have to walk away, then further explained,

Given the eventful year that Kyle Richards is having, it is understandable why she might consider leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Halloween Kills’ premiere is right around the corner, and a lot of critics are already loving the good, the bad, and the generational trauma at play. Richards could be hoping to parlay the film's potential success into bigger opportunities beyond Bravo and Real Housewives Christmas spoof movies. She wouldn't be the first OG to do so – just look at NeNe Leakes and Bethenny Frankel.

The various cast shakeups happening across the franchise also make Kyle Richards' speculated Real Housewives exit even more likely. Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were both on the Real Housewives Atlanta just as long as Richards has been on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and they are in fact leaving for “new adventures.” The Real Housewives of New York is reportedly going to drop some old faces as well. So if there is a time for it, Richards’ time might be now. She joked:

Her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars might give her anxiety, but they really do need Kyle Richards. This season, Richards got her longtime friend Erika Jayne to open up many times about her ex-husband Tom Girardi and her side of events that took place in their marriage. She also pulled the classic Real Housewives maneuver of having Sutton Stracke confide in her, only to throw Stracke and her shade right under the bus, in the most climactic scene of the season. (She even used her broken nose injury from the set of Halloween Kills as fodder for the show's opener, which has since manifested in a full-out feud with another alum.)

Kyle Richards’ final decision still hangs in the balance, but there are more pressing anxiety-inducing events on the horizon: Halloween Kills will be out in theaters (and streaming on Peacock) on October 15 and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ hyped-up first of four reunion specials airs on Bravo on October 13. It’s a toss up at this point which one will be the bigger bloodbath.

Fans can’t wait to see her face off against Michael Myers, but it appears that she actually broke her nose when working on the slasher. As Richards recently explained,

Ouch. While fight sequences in movies are handled with care and plenty of rehearsals, there’s still a margin for error. And when it came to Kyle Richards’ battle against The Shape in Halloween Kills, she quickly realized something was wrong after taking a hit to the face. That’s one way of returning to the horror genre.

Kyle Richards’ comments to ET Online show what it’s really like from within a thrilling horror flick like Halloween Kills. While trained professionals are involved, it’s still easy for things to go wrong when doing such physical work. And that’s exactly what happened for Richards when preparing to face off against Michael Myers.

Later in that same interview, Kyle Richards went on to explain how she ultimately worked through her injury while filming Halloween Kills. Despite her continued Housewives fame, she clearly wanted very much to be a part of the legacy of the horror franchise and play Lindsey Wallace again. As such, she kept it to herself and found out about her broken nose once returning home. She referenced having stunt doubles on set, saying:

That’s pretty hardcore. While Jamie Lee Curtis is known for being a badass on the set of the Halloween movies, it seems that Kyle Richards also deserves some serious credit as well. She seemingly gives an emotional performance in Halloween Kills, while also dealing with the pain of a broken nose.

Since Halloween Kills is mere weeks away, Jamie Lee Curtis has been sharing content every day in order to satiate the rabid fandom. The upcoming Blumhouse sequel looks like a total blood bath, largely due to the killer ensemble cast. And we can see OG actors alongside some new school members of the Halloween family in the following photo,

While 2018’s Halloween was a movie focused on Laurie’s trauma, it’s clear that the new sequel will make the town of Haddonfield into a living character. Longtime Halloween fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of OG actors in Halloween Kills, with Kyle Richards, Charles Cyphers, and Nancy Stephens reuniting with Jamie Lee Curtis on the new installment. It’s doubly exciting to see that these legacy characters are being paired with newcomers. And with Vanessa and Marcus going from featured extras to bonafide characters, David Gordon Green is really creating his own version of Haddonfield as a setting.

While fans were disappointed that Halloween Kills was delayed a full year, luckily that wait is nearly over. Fans can’t wait to see this bloody reunion, especially those who know her from The Real Housewives. Curtis’ caption praises her performance in the delayed slasher, which reads:

Suddenly the last few weeks of waiting for Halloween Kills feel much longer. Kyle Richards is one of a number of actors from the 1978 Halloween that are reprising their roles for the new sequel, and it’s clear that there’s a ton of love shared with Jamie Lee Curtis. They had a unique experience filming all those years ago, and have managed to stay in touch throughout their respective careers.

After the year-long delay of Halloween Kills, fans are eager to finally see David Gordon Green and Danny McBride’s highly anticipated sequel. It was recently announced that the project will also be available to stream on Peacock, to the surprise of moviegoers. But that hasn’t stopped Jamie Lee Curtis and company from promoting its release, including the release of one final trailer.

It certainly doesn’t look great for Kyle Richards’ Lindsey Wallace in Halloween Kills’ trailer, but perhaps we’re being led astray by the filmmakers. But what is clear is that the new sequel will zoom out from the Strode Family and will make the town of Haddonfield a character. The survivors from Michaels’ original massacre are arming up to take on the killer themselves, and it looks like a blood bath.

It’s almost Halloween time. And by Halloween time, I mean Halloween Kills time. The sequel to 2018’s horror film that brought back Laurie Strode and Michael Myers after 40 years (within this particular continuity) is just three weeks away, and on Monday, fans were treated with a final trailer for the film before it heads to theaters and streaming in October. The latest footage featured Kyle Richards, who once was a child actor and played the role of Lindsey Wallace in the original Halloween movie back in 1978.

Nowadays Kyle Richards is well known for being a cast member on the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But for Halloween Kills, she has gone back to her acting roots to reprise her role as Lindsay Wallace, who is now an adult living in Haddonfield. Richards took to her Instagram to share the trailer and provide her reaction to what’s to come from Halloween Kills:

The 52-year-old shared the latest Halloween Kills trailer with her followers, and it features a moment with her early on speaking with some kids in the hopes of protecting them from Michael Myers. We don’t know if she’ll survive the knife of the Haddonfield killer, but as the trailer reveals, there will be a lot of callbacks to characters from the 1978 original. As Laurie Strode plans her revenge on the killer, other members of the neighborhood that share some of her trauma seem to be trying to keep surviving as well. Here is Richards’ caption:

Kyle Richards described Halloween Kills as “so intense,” and it has me excited for what’s to come because that’s honestly what us horror fans come for, especially in the slasher genre. She called the Strode women “family” and teased some kind of flash mob that will be part of the movie. It seems like the Haddonfield neighborhood is really going to try to get Michael Myers for good with Laurie Strode in the hospital following the events of 2018’s Halloween.

When the original Halloween came out, Kyle Richards was just eight years old, playing one of the kids being babysat during the holiday. Lindsay is being watched over by Nancy Kyes’ Annie (a friend of Laurie’s), who dies at the hand of Michael Myers while Laurie Strode is babysitting Tommy Doyle across the street. Tommy Doyle will also be a character in Halloween Kills, and is set to be played by Anthony Michael Hall.

The new trailer shows that Halloween Kills will definitely be once again heavily drawing from the 1978 original movie that started it all. The movie is coming to theaters and Peacock on October 15.

It’s been more than 40 years since John Carpenter’s Halloween arrived and Michael Myers became a household name. In that time, Jamie Lee Curtis has gone on to become a screen legend. So returning to play Laurie Strode again in Blumhouse’s reboot of the franchise has led to many unforgettable moments for the actress -- including one from the set of Halloween Kills.

One of the cool things about David Gordon Green’s Halloween film series is that it feels like he and his team are drawing from the essence of the original movie. That’s meant doing some reconnecting with Laurie Strode and realistically examining what her life might be like today. It also means reincorporating some old motifs and characters. Jamie Lee Curtis told The Hollywood Reporter that one moment from making Halloween Kills stands out to her the most:

It sounds like reuniting with her Halloween castmates was a bit of a surreal moment for Curtis, and understandably so. The original film came out in 1978, and it changed the trajectory of her career. Since Laurie was one of a very few characters to make it out alive, there haven’t been too many opportunities for her to share the screen with her castmates again.

In Halloween Kills, Kyle Richards will reprise her role as Lindsay Wallace, one of the children Laurie babysat the night Michael Myers first came for her -- it’s her first appearance in the horror franchise since the original Halloween. While Nancy Stephens appeared in Halloween II and Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, this is the first time her character, Marion Chambers, will appear in David Gordon Green’s Halloween franchise.

It’s not totally clear yet how prominently the returning cast members’ characters will feature in Halloween Kills. The film’s first trailer gave us a quick glimpse of Lindsay and Marion, both of whom seem to be fighting to stay alive as Michael Myers continues his reign of terror.

Because we don’t know their fates yet, it’s hard to say whether either actress will join Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween Ends, the third installment of Green’s series. We do know it will be thrilling to see all three characters on screen again. Halloween Kills hits theaters on October 15.

The 2018 reboot of Halloween did fairly well, as reboots go, at the box office and critically speaking. After 40 years since the original film, the story harkened back to its “roots” with Jamie Lee Curtis’ return as Laurie, with the character having even more agency in the fight against the seemingly unbeatable Michael Myers. But, of course, it ended with a cliffhanger. Three years, and apparently a lot of chaos, later, and the trailer for its sequel, Halloween Kills, is finally out. Kyle Richards' brief appearance in the new Halloween Kills trailer suggests a few other things. One, it seems her storyline will call back to the original film. Lindsey was seen desperately urging a young person to run, in an effort to save them – just as Laurie once did for Lindsey. Two, Richards is bringing back the signature bangs that Lindsey had as a child in the original Halloween – and one Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fan is “scared.”

As seen in the opener of the Halloween Kills trailer, Michael Myers didn't end up dying in the basement after Laurie set the house on fire in the last film. Obviously someone had to be unleashing all this carnage in the next iteration. No worries though, as fans had another great reaction to the reveal, with a little Real Housewives of Beverly Hills throwback of their own:

It's likely Halloween Kills is hoping to continue off the success of the last film by bringing in more allusions to the original. Both Kyle Richards and Anthony Michael Hall were brought back into the fold. And much like how Jamie Lee Curtis’ reappearance as Laurie reinvigorated fans in Halloween (2018), Lindsay’s reappearance will do something similar in Halloween Kills. The legal situation surrounding Erika Jayne and her soon-to-be ex husband, Tom Girardi, has been steadily intensifying over the last year. Girardi is faced with bankruptcy and lawsuits that accuse him of embezzling from clients (the most egregious of which claim he stole money meant for "widows and orphans" in a flight crash settlement). Given how their money is tied together as a married couple, Erika Jayne has even been implicated in the issues. She has yet to comment publicly on the accusations beyond divorcing Girardi. But the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards is frank and open about the toll of this legal drama on her co-star.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has teased that tonight’s episode will finally show the group learning about Erika Jayne’s legal problems. Several of the ladies were seen with shocked expressions as they find out the first of it all on their phones. In an interview with E! Online, Kyle Richards shared what the dramatic turn of events was like for them all in real-time:

Currently, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is only three episodes into Season 11 and, so far as she shows on-camera, you wouldn’t know that there's any trouble on the horizon for Erika Jayne. She jokes and participates with the other ladies and still dresses to the nines any chance she gets. In fact, during their trip to Lake Tahoe, Erika Jayne had nothing but glowing words about her husband, saying how he lets her be herself and she does the same for him.

So from a viewer’s perspective, you wouldn’t think Erika Jayne already knew about the legal drama, going into their girls' trip. Yet in the past few months, she has often been accused of knowing about her husband's alleged activities all along. It has even been alleged that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's marriage to Tom Girardi was a falsehood in itself. According to Kyle Richards though, she doesn’t think Erika Jayne knew, either. She said:

Kyle Richards elaborated that she thinks the sharing of legal details between Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi just wasn’t “the relationship they had,” given his stature as a high-profiled lawyer. The situation is still unfolding, but viewers will get to hear her side (or what she chooses to reveal) throughout the current season of the Bravo show. In the Season 11 trailer, Erika Jayne appeared to be cautious about saying anything incriminating but, ahead of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere, she did take the time to thank fans for their support.

Feuds are dime a dozen on Bravo’s plethora of reality shows. But feuds that run outside the purview of the show and stem from an almost 10-year friendship are kind of unheard of, which is exactly what’s happened between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The two have been going back and forth as of late over a restaurant bill of all things. But with Vanderpump’s “new nose” commentary, things are getting out of hand, and Richards is clapping back.

The feud was initially reignited between the former friends when Lisa Vanderpump spotted Kyle Richards at a restaurant in Los Angeles and playfully sent over her bill to be paid. Richards apparently refused to pay for her and would later accuse Vanderpump of effectively dining and dashing. As an owner of multiple restaurants herself, Vanderpump, of course, denied the insinuations and said to Daily Pop, “She should keep her new nose out of my business.” In response to Vanderpump calling out her “new nose,” Richards said:

Kyle Richards’ sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton, were there when she was asked about the nose comment. Kim only laughed, but Hilton actually came to the defense of Lisa Vanderpump, saying she “loves Kyle” and “would never do that.” It was speculated that this was shade on Hilton’s part. Maybe, but if Hilton, a newcomer on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, doesn’t yet know it, Vanderpump very much would do that.

It’s like watching a tennis match of shady commentary between the ladies. But the “new nose” comment from Lisa Vanderpump doesn’t seem to hold much weight for Kyle Richards. She was actually very upfront about getting her nose done in the Season 11 opener of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so it's likely she really doesn’t care what's said about it.

Lisa Vanderpump left the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019 after an adopted dog storyline started to spiral. The ladies accused Vanderpump of leaking the story and making former star Teddi Mellencamp her fall guy. But it was when Kyle Richards called her longtime friend a liar that their feud started and has yet to stop.

The queen of sassy comments, Lisa Vanderpump, might be glad that she’s far away from the drama circulating in the latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In the last episode, Sutton Stracke got into a racially charged argument with series newcomer Crystal Kung Minkoff, the first Asian-American housewife on Beverly Hills. Stracke publicly apologized over the matter, and Kung Minkoff accepted.

However, it doesn’t seem like there will be any newfound growth or apologies exchanged between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, at least at the moment. It’s kind of a shame for fans who once saw them as the Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer of the West Coast.

Several dicey feuds were made manifest by the Real Housewives franchise over the years, which is probably an understatement. Out of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alone came the Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump mess with Scheana Shay, the Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump row over Munchausen’s, and here lately, the "Everyone vs. Lisa Vanderpump" turmoil over a leaked adopted-dog story. Vanderpump may have exited the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019, but it seems the reality star still found time recently to stoke her feud with former longtime friend Kyle Richards, only this time it was not for the cameras.

According to TMZ, the feud between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards was given new life this past week when both were having dinner at the Shu Restaurant in Los Angeles. Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd were a few tables away from Richards and a Real Housewives executive producer who also reportedly works on Vanderpump Rules and Overserved. The producer apparently went over to Vanderpump for a quick hello, which later prompted the reality star to jokingly send over her $132 dinner bill for the producer and Richards to pick up. They didn’t take it as a mere joke, however, and pointedly refused to pay Vanderpump’s bill.

The snub isn’t too unreasonable, given what played out in Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards’ friendship on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and the audacity of such a move in the first place. The two were insanely close for nearly a decade, as depicted by the show, but it all took a turn for the worse in Vanderpump’s last season, when other cast members accused her of leaking to the press that Dorit Kemsley allegedly abandoned her adopted dog from Vanderpump Dogs. Richards flat-out accused Vanderpump of lying, going to the press, and even setting up former co-star Teddi Mellencamp for the fallout.

Suffice to say, Lisa Vanderpump didn’t take well to being called a liar by her one true ally within the group. Having that experience coupled with the grief of losing a loved one in that span of time, Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills permanently at the end of Season 9.

Their feud didn't exactly end there, though, as seen by this recent restaurant tab dispute. If it was really an innocent joke, it could have been a means to open the door of friendship once more. However, that very likely wasn’t Lisa Vanderpump’s intention. When asked only a few weeks ago if she would ever speak to Kyle Richards again, the restauranteur had this to say:

This doesn't even mark the first time that Lisa Vanderpump attempted to throw shade or joke around where restaurant tabs are concerned. She got into a heated Twitter feud with Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd (now Leventhal), whom she accused of dining and dashing at her restaurant. Dodd vehemently denied those claims, and Vanderpump later apologized, with Dodd thanking her for clearing up the drama.

Kyle Richards probably won’t be getting the same treatment as Kelly Dodd did from Lisa Vanderpump. The initial issue might have appeared to be just another petty Housewives squabble on the face of things, but it seems to clearly indicate something much more problematic under the surface. Still, it looks like the joke, at least this time, is on Vanderpump.

A number of movies were delayed as a result, either because more time was needed to film or because studios wanted to hold off and make money at the box office. With The Shape once again rampaging through the community, the citizens will be forming an angry mob to hunt and kill the masked villain. The limited footage showed the ensemble cast with weapons, and there's no telling what bloody chaos will ensue.

Kyle Richards has taken various acting projects while balancing her 11-season run on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but her return to horror with Halloween Kills feels like a major moment. The 2018 sequel broke records for the beloved franchise, and both Richards and Jamie Lee Curtis expressed interest in working with each other again. Luckily that's exactly what happened, alongside fellow original cast members Nancy Stephens and Charles Cyphers.

It should be interesting to see what type of an adult Kyle Richards' character Lindsey turned out to be. Much like Laurie, she no doubt has plenty of trauma from the night Michael Myers came back to town. She'll also be reuniting with Tommy Doyle, played in adulthood by Anthony Michael Hall. Bravo's franchise of Real Housewives shows is a juggernaut that, seemingly, cannot be stopped. It all began with The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006, and franchise executive producer Andy Cohen has gone on to give the people what they want, with a combined 72 seasons across 10 U.S. cities airing since that first, fateful premiere. When you're in charge of something this big, which requires this many cast members, you need to be on the lookout for new faces. Well, Cohen is now speaking out about the rumors that he's considering adding disgraced Fuller House and When Calls the Heart star Lori Loughlin to the roster.

Apparently, rumors have been swirling that Andy Cohen has been trying to get Lori Loughlin on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, especially now that she's finally decided to plead guilty for her part in the college admissions scandal which led to her losing work on the Netflix revival and Hallmark shows she'd been known for in recent years. Cohen has finally addressed those rumors on his SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen Live. Here's what he had to say:

Sooo, if you listen to the clip of Andy Cohen talking about the possibility of Lori Loughlin coming aboard RHOBH, you can tell that he seems a bit awkward while discussing it. And, who wouldn't be, at this point? Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested and charged in March of last year (along with fellow actress Felicity Huffman and almost 50 others) for their part in the college admissions scandal.

Loughlin and Giannulli were two of 33 wealthy parents found to have paid college admissions counselor William Singer a combined $25 million to bribe college officials, sports coaches and entrance exam administrators to make sure their children were accepted into the higher learning institutions of their choosing. After over a year, it was toward the end of this May that it was announced that Loughlin would plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.

Assuming a federal judge signs off on the deal, Lori Loughlin will face a punishment of up to two months in prison, a fine of $150,000, supervised release probation for two years once she's done serving time in prison, and she'll also need to complete 100 hours of community service. So, with all this punishment pending for Loughlin, it makes sense that Andy Cohen doesn't want to cast her, or have her associated with his franchise.

Cohen was very careful on his podcast to say nice things about Lori Loughlin, and while you can make of that what you may, you might be wondering, in general, why people would think he wanted her to be a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, anyway. Well, RHOBH star Kyle Richards and her family are friends with Loughlin's family, and right after the scandal broke in 2019, Richards spoke about the news on the after show for Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen:

It's not unusual for Cohen to mine the real friendships of Real Housewives' stars when he needs to refresh the casts of his shows, so it makes a lot of sense that fans were speculating about him looking to recruit Lori Loughlin, but it would seem that this was not the case.

The studio recently turned its focus on the classics, with reboots of The Craft and Halloween. The latter franchise has been entertaining for decades, and Blumhouse's 2018 sequel was a critical and box office success. Two more movies are heading down the pipeline, starting with Halloween Kills. That sequel will reunite Jamie Lee Curtis with original Halloween co-star Kyle Richards, who went on to become a TV personality. And Curtis is singing Richards' praises as she returns to acting.

Plenty of characters are returning, so perhaps the survivors from Michael's previous attack will be brought together for their own protection. After all, The Shape didn't actually burn alive in Laure's basement.

To celebrate the upcoming sequel's wrap on production, the generations of fans were treated to an image of the movie being filmed. In the center of the frame is Anthony Michael Hall's Tommy Doyle, and to his left is Kyle Richards as an adult Lindsey Wallace. It's been a whopping 40 years since Laurie Strode saved their lives, so it's going to be major news when its revealed that Michael Myers has escaped Smith's Grove, and Laurie's basement trap.

There's another original actor in the frame as well: Nancy Stephens' Marion Chambers. Marion was the assistant of Donald Pleasence's Dr. Loomis in the original Halloween movie. She also survived an encounter by Michael, although he was able to escape in her car. Marion also had a role in Halloween II and H20, but those movies are no longer canon in the current timeline. The survivors seem to be assembling, likely for their own protection as Michael remains on the loose.

Jamie Lee Curtis had previously teased that Halloween Kills will really 'unpack' the events of John Carpenter's original Halloween. The cast list alone shared this, as many familiar faces from Haddonfield are returning for David Gordon Green's sophomore run in the franchise. In addition to Tommy Doyle, Lindsey Wallace, and Marion Chambers, Charles Cyphers' Leigh Brackett will also reprise his role. Finally, Robert Longstreet will play Lonnie Elam, the little boy who bullied Tommy and grew up to have a son Cameron (Allyson's cheating boyfriend from 2018's Halloween).

Kyle Richards has remained in the public eye following her work as a child actress. She's an original cast member of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, having starred in the reality show for a whopping nine seasons to date. When Halloween was hitting theaters, Richards expressed her interest in reprising her role as Lindsey for a future movie. What's more, she helped promote the movie with co-star Jamie Lee Curtis. And now it's come to fruition, with OG fans of the franchise eager to see her return to the story after decades.

Halloween Kills just added another movie star from the original 1978 Halloween. The upcoming sequel to 2018’s reboot-quel of the franchise from director David Gordon Green is quickly coming together for its 2020 release. A new member to the cast, but someone who is not new to Halloween, has joined the film. That someone is Lindsey Wallace herself, Kyle Richards. Take a look:

Little Lindsey Wallace is all grown up now and so is Kyle Richards, who will be returning to the franchise after over 40 years for Halloween Kills. Kyle Richards played Lindsey Wallace in John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic when she was just a kid. As a child actor she was something of a mainstay in horror movies, having also starred in films like The Watcher in the Woods, Eaten Alive, and The Car.

Kyle Richards has also had recurring roles on Little House on the Prairie and E.R. over the years, but more recently she is best known for portraying herself on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

In the original Halloween, Kyle Richards’ Lindsey Wallace is one of the kids watched over by Laurie Strode’s friend Annie Brackett, who was the daughter of Sheriff Leigh Brackett. In the film, while watching Lindsey on Halloween night, Annie wants to meet up with her boyfriend Paul, so she drops Lindsey off with Laurie, who is babysitting Tommy Doyle nearby. Later, while being hunted by Michael Myers, Laurie saves Lindsey and Tommy and gets them to safety.

As one of the survivors of that original killing spree, Lindsey Wallace was able to grow up and it seems she will now return to Haddonfield. Whether or not she will be able to survive Michael Myers a second time, we’ll have to wait and see. According to HalloweenMovies.com, speaking about Kyle Richards’ return to the series, producer Malek Akkad said:

One of the guiding principles of the modern, rebooted Halloween franchise has seemingly been to return the series to its roots, and this is reflected in its casting. These newer films are bringing back characters and actors from the original, both paying homage to John Carpenter’s genre-defining film and staying true to the story, seeing how the events of that film shaped the lives of those who experienced them.

In addition to Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode, Nick Castle will once again return as The Shape himself, and Charles Cyphers is expected to return as Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Lindsey Wallace isn’t the only one of Laurie Strode’s babysitting kids that is all grown up because Tommy Doyle will also be in Halloween Kills. Though he will not be played by original actor Brian Andrews (or later actor Paul Rudd) and will instead be played by Anthony Michael Hall.
