Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has been in rocky waters since the day it premiered on the 2024 TV schedule, which left audiences with mixed thoughts. The season did not get better as time went on; in fact, it somehow got worse. However, as a diehard fan of the Bravo series, I have never been more frustrated than I was watching the conclusion to the three-part reunion special. 

This season has been a comedy of errors thanks to the show wrongly assuming that fans would be open to a Tom Sandoval redemption arc in the wake of last season’s cheating scandal. Instead of the show focusing on more interesting storylines, fans sat through episode after episode of cast members like Lala Kent and Scheana Shay coming around to Sandoval despite what he did to their best friend and coworker. To make matters even worse, the season ended with a fourth wall break that saw the two cast members badmouthing Ariana Madix, who opted to walk out instead of continuing to film with her ex.

I, like many fans, was eager to see how everyone would react to that moment after it was revealed that the footage would be shared with the cast during the final part of the reunion special. As gut-wrenching as it was, it was almost cathartic to see Madix realize how toxic her so-called friends have been to her. Unfortunately, not even that watershed moment kept me from feeling anything but frustrated when the show ended because of countless other things that happened over the course of the hour-long finale. 

Lala Seemingly Trying To Produce Storylines While Playing The Victim 

Lala Kent seemed to forget her role as a cast member this season and gave herself an unofficial promotion to producer status, which only led her to become this season's villain. It was clear all season as she routinely tried to get Madix to sit down with Sandoval, but it became undeniable in the season finale when she went off on the Love Island USA host for storming out of the party and accusing her of “becoming God” in the wake of the cheating scandal. 

Naturally, Kent jumped to the defensive when the footage was shared at the reunion. She tried to justify her outburst by saying she was frustrated because Madix's leaving jeopardized her position on the show and the paycheck she used to support her growing family. However, her “poor me” victimhood isn’t easy to get behind, considering she’s been manipulating the cast and attempting to do the same with fans, like in part one of the reunion where she tried to get them to turn on Katie for an off-camera conversation she had about Madix. 

Tom Sandoval Getting His Moment With The Audience 

When Ariana Madix left the party in the finale, she took the opportunity for Tom Sandoval to give a fake apology to her in the hopes of winning over the fans. That should have been the end of it, but instead, Sandoval used the shared footage in part three of the reunion to get the moment that was stolen from him. 

It was incredibly frustrating to watch because fans know that it was a bogus move in an attempt to make himself look good. Honestly, I’m madder that producers kept it in and actually thought the fans would excuse his behavior and his snide comment in the footage where he’s heard saying Madix leaving is “good for me” by shedding a few crocodile tears. Do they think we’re that stupid? 

Scheana Ignoring Ariana’s Pain To Defend Lala 

Scheana Shay and Madix have been best friends since the show began, and the latter regularly comes to her defense when the other girls have issues with her. That entire friendship was thrown out the window this season when Scheana decided to mend bridges with Sandoval and turn against her so-called bestie. 

Fans have speculated all season that Scheana had replaced Madix with Kent in terms of her best friend hierarchy, and part three of the reunion proved that. In a scene that wasn’t supposed to make it to air, Scheana can be seen running to Kent’s aid after the footage was shown to ask what she could say to make it better instead of going to comfort Madix, who was visibly shaken and upset after learning her friends had been talking behind her back. 

Not only does it prove that Scheana isn’t a great friend, but it also goes back to my initial point of frustration that Kent has been trying to produce the season the entire time. Why else would Scheana feel compelled to ask what she can say when they start filming again if not to protect the contrite narrative the two of them built for themselves? 

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has been one of the most unbearable seasons to watch, so much so that I and many others hope that it’s the final season for the once-popular Bravo reality show. It’s no secret that Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent and Katie Maloney have always butted heads. When the soon-to-be mother of two first joined the show, Maloney regularly called her out for keeping secrets regarding her relationship with Randall  Emmet from the friend group and from the producers of the show. Now, it seems like the roles have switched as Kent accused the sandwich shop owner of doing the same thing this season as it pertained to her business relationship with Ariana Madix, and fans are not happy about it. 

What Happened Between Lala Kent And Katie Maloney

Towards the end of part one of the three-part reunion special that aired on Tuesday as part of the 2024 TV schedule, Kent turned her high-horse, preaching antics on Maloney. She said she didn’t film any of her genuine reactions to the success Madix has found in the wake of the Tom Sandoval cheating scandal that may have caused delays in the opening of their sandwich shop. She went as far as to disclose a private conversation Maloney had with her, in which she vented about her frustrations. 

In return, the reality star admitted that she did confide in Kent to vent her frustrations, but only because she didn’t want to guilt Madix into turning down the amazing opportunities she was being offered. To further explain herself, Maloney took to her Instagram to share the following note to her story: 

While fans appreciate the more in-depth explanation of her actions, they don’t need it. Her actions were completely justified and something many have done in their own life to protect relationships with other friends. 

How The Fans Responded

The realness of the entire thing has only made fans rally around Maloney more than they already have been this season. For example, this person posted:

Even Madix understood Maloney’s decisions and didn’t seem upset with the revelation, which proves how strong of a friendship the two have. 

In trying to make herself more likable to fans, Kent proved that not only is she the biggest villain of Season 11, but also that she’s not that great of a friend if she’s willing to talk publically about private conversations she’s had. One viewer made that take clear when they posted:

Kent then doubled down on the entire interaction, mocking the sandwich shop her so-called friends have been working hard to get open. That move certainly didn’t win her any points with fans; in fact, many saw it as a laughable moment since Kent couldn’t even come up with another hurtful nickname reusing one she originated during the Vanderpump Rules after-show, making it seem rehearsed. 

Kent even went as far as to say that Maloney refusing to talk about her feelings on camera may have jeopardized the status of the reality show that helps her provide for her family. 

Vanderpump Rules fans, like the one below, disagree with this take and instead have been quick to blame the show’s summer filming hiatus on the two-faced actions that Kent displayed this season. In trying to act as a producer for her fellow cast mates, she managed to ruin the show for some. 

Instead of jumping on the Sandoval redemption arc train, Kent would have earned a lot more love from fans had she been able to share more about what was going on in her own life (like her fertility journey). Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and a once fan-favorite cast member has found herself reckoning with being one of the most disliked people on the reality show while continuing to throw her "friends" under the bus any chance she gets. 

The status of Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules is still up in the air as filming will not resume this summer as it has for the last decade. However, there are still two parts left of the Season 11 reunion that are sure to bring more explosive arguments to life. When it comes to many reality TV shows, there's usually a specified "villain" in a given season. While it seemed like Sandoval would retain his reign as the villain on the hit Bravo series for Season 11, fans are starting to think that Lala Kent might be taking over that post.

While only two new episodes have aired so far, fans have already started speculating online about Lala Kent's supposed villainous turn. It wouldn’t be the first time the TV personality found herself on the wrong side of the equation, having previously been the antagonist when she originally joined the series.  Since then, she’s put in major work to become friends with a majority of her cast members, but all of that may be for not if she continues on the path she’s traveling down. 

Vanderpump Rules fans might have mixed feelings about Season 11, but one point they seem to be in agreement on is that the media personality is definitely in the running to take over Scandoval’s reign. Let's talk about why that is.

Lala Kent Reached Out To Ousted Cast Member Raquel Leviss

Lala Kent has always made it clear that she’s never been a fan of Raquel Leviss. The two were constantly at odds when the former was dating James Kennedy, and the situation didn’t get much better when they broke off their engagement. When the “Scandoval” news broke, Kent was a fierce advocate for Ariana Madix and laid into Leviss during the tumultuous reunion. 

However, three months after filming wrapped on Season 10, the Give Them Lala podcast host, seems to be singing a different tune. The first episode of Season 11 featured the single mom speaking with Lisa Vanderpump about her remorse for how harshly she and the others treated the former cast member. She went as far as saying that she sympathized with her because she knows what it’s like to be labeled a mistress. After the conversation, Kent took things a step farther and left her ex-co-star a voicemail apologizing and encouraging her to reach out if she wanted to talk. 

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Lala Kent even defended Raquel Leviss' actions to Ariana Madix and their other friends, by trying to equate her own relationship missteps to Leviss'. Of course, the ladies weren’t having it and neither were the fans who were left confused as they watched Kent have a total change of heart regarding Leviss. 

She Critizied Ariana’s Inability To Move On 

In addition to supporting the woman who slept with her best friend’s life partner of nearly a decade, the media personality also had fans questioning her loyalties to Ariana Madix in the second episode of the season. During a one-on-one lunch date, she began to question why Madix is making things more difficult for herself by not moving out of the house she owns with her ex.

On top of that, she also disagrees with Ariana Madix's belief that she has the power to control what Tom Sandoval does at their house and who gets to interact with him in their friend group. Admittedly, that's interesting coming from the woman who was ready to commit crimes against anyone who even looked in the direction of her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, who she broke up with after he cheated on her.

There’s An Unsavory Quote In The Trailer That Has Fans On Edge 

Even before all of this was revealed, fans were worried about where Lala Kent was going to fall in the Ariana/Tom split. At the end of the Season 11 trailer (which is on YouTube), she has a conversation with Scheana Shay and says: 

While it’s not a mean statement at face value, Lala Kent’s delivery and the fact that she has already begun to move away from Ariana Madix has many fearing that this could signal that she’s about to switch sides. Loyal fans of Vanderpump Rules probably won’t be too surprised by the sudden shift though since Kent has always towed the line on whether or not she’s a “girls-girl.” 

With only two seasons currently on air, there’s still time for her to redeem herself and be the ally most fans are rooting for her to become. Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen. The spit hit the fan, so to speak, in the relationship between Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent and her fiancé Randall Emmett last October. Rumors of unfaithfulness had long circulated about the latter, but they wouldn’t start to gain traction until images surfaced online of him with two other women in Nashville, Tennessee. Not long after, Kent called off their 3-year-long engagement and confirmed that Emmett had cheated on her. In a bombshell new interview, though, the reality star alleges a bit more – namely that her ex “tackled” her when confronted about the allegations.

Lala Kent Sheds Light On Former Fiancé's Behavior

An exposé by the Los Angeles Times – entitled, “The man who played Hollywood: Inside Randall Emmett’s crumbling empire” – puts the notorious producer on blast for his reportedly sketchy business and personal practices. Speaking to the outlet, Lala Kent said that after the Nashville pics dropped, she confronted Emmett, which led to a standoff of sorts over seeing the contents of his phone. The mother to Emmett’s youngest child then took the cell anyway to examine it, despite his protestations. This apparently led to a tense situation where she stated,

The alleged altercation was confirmed by five other people who Lala Kent had told about it after the fact. Nonetheless, Randall Emmett denied that it became physical as she claims and offered a witness statement of his own from his nanny, Isabelle Morales, who was there when this all happened. Morales attested that she only saw Emmett “taking back his phone from Lala” but “neither was on the ground.”

More Details About BTS Incidents With Randall Emmett Come Out

In addition to the tackling claim, the Bravo TV personality alleged that Randall Emmett wanted her to sign an NDA back in 2016. She had been contemplating how to address their relationship on-screen, as Bravo was seeking to document it for Vanderpump Rules, but at that time, Emmett was still technically with his previous wife Ambyr Childers while dating Kent (supposedly unbeknownst to Kent). 

He sent the young star with her mother, Lisa Burningham, to see his lawyer, Keith Davidson. During the meeting, she alleges that Davidson had put forth that if she signed an agreement to keep the relationship quiet, then she would receive $14,000. Burningham told The Times that they immediately walked out: “I said, ‘We’re done.’”

The couple supposedly broke up briefly afterward, but obviously, they were back together again until the recent cheating scandal came to light. The outlet reports that pursuing younger women and then paying them off for signed NDAs was part of Randall Emmett’s apparent M.O. One anonymous woman even came forward to the publication with accusations that Emmett had sought sexual favors in exchange for parts in his movies.

What The Vanderpump Star Said Post-Breakup

Randall Emmett’s financial woes were also discussed at length in the report, said to include a $10 million lawsuit leveled at him of late. Lala Kent had previously addressed the situation, saying that post-breakup, people were calling her up left and right to “collect money” that Emmett supposedly still owed to them. She also shared more details about his alleged cheating. The 31-year-old claimed then that when she left Emmett with their daughter Ocean in tow, he “threatened to call the police” if the child wasn’t brought back. Only when she did return and he eventually felt “in control again” did Kent feel comfortable enough to leave for good.

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules (now streaming in full on Peacock Premium) was the first substantial time viewers saw Randall Emmett on the Bravo screen. It was prior to the cheating accusations coming out formally, but even still, certain comments Lala Kent was making at the time seemed to hint that she anticipated the relationship not lasting long. The reality series has since been greenlit for another season, and although Kent is slated to return, it’s highly unlikely that Emmett will do so again given the circumstances.

It came out last October that Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent had ended her 3-year-long engagement to her then-fiancé Randall Emmett. Photos had emerged of Emmett seemingly hanging out with other women, leading many to speculate that cheating was the root cause of the split. The Bravo reality star has confirmed as much (and more) regarding her ex. Lately, though, she’s getting real about Emmett’s $10 million lawsuit making headlines and how people were actually looking to her for money when they broke up.

Radar Online obtained court documents that showed Randall Emmett, George Furla, and their joint production company were being sued for a whopping $10.8 million in damages by The Fyzz Facility. Emmett and the others involved allegedly failed to pay the company back for a $4 million loan that was intended for a film project called Mexicali with Gerard Butler slated for the lead role. In addition, the suit accuses the defendants of breaking their contract when they used the loan to front a different project with Butler (a film reportedly in post-production called Hair of the Dog) without their agreed-upon permission.

Per the outlet, the big-time Hollywood producer – whose credits include Silence and The Irishman – has been facing other legal matters as well. Supposedly, Randall Emmett is being sued by an insurance company over fraud allegations and also for unpaid rent at his office space. When asked about the eight-figure lawsuit over a loan default, though, his ex Lala Kent claimed she knew nothing about it. She said on Jeff Lewis Live,

Previously, the Vanderpump Rules alum had shared a lot about the former financial arrangement she had with Randall Emmett. As she told it, she always had her own credit card and bank account throughout their entire five-year relationship, emphasizing that she “never had access to anything he had.” However, Jeff Lewis pressed the star further of late that she might’ve been entangled in the ongoing legal mess if they had gotten married as planned. Kent responded,

Lala Kent continued, explaining to the host exactly how tricky the current dynamic stands with her ex while they hash out custody and child support of their now 1-year-old daughter, Ocean. Apparently, they came to an agreed upon amount for support three months ago. However, according to Kent, Randall Emmett hasn’t paid it and she doesn’t really expect him to. She also alleged that Emmett’s employees at his L.A. mansion came to her “demanding to get paid” after their breakup, saying she only “hopes” that Ocean’s nanny is currently being paid.

The 31-year-old has maintained in the past that she knew nothing about Randall Emmett’s supposed extracurricular activities until after they went their separate ways. Nonetheless, her Vanderpump Rules co-star Scheana Shay dropped the bombshell that Kent might’ve had an inkling after all.

Vanderpump Rules has been greenlit for a tenth season on Bravo. The main cast hasn’t been confirmed, but Lala Kent has revealed that the reality show likes to “reward” her financially for drama. And judging by all the drama going on in her personal life at the moment, it would seem they’ll keep rewarding her.

The revelations came as a response on Tina Swithin’s Instagram account. Swithin runs “One Mom’s Battle,” an internationally recognized resource for women in the midst of toxic relationships and divorces. She called out Randall Emmett specifically in one post for all the rumors circulating about him, labeling him a “narcissist” and the opposite of a “family man.” Lala Kent replied in the comments with frank details about the father of her daughter, Ocean, and when his cheating supposedly started:

In the past, the reality TV star has only briefly alluded to knowing more than the public about her ex's reported cheating. She’s tried to remain empowered for the most part, saying at one point that she would even thank the other women he was seemingly sexually involved with. However, the Vanderpump Rules vet continued in the recent post that the act of leaving her former fiancée was a very serious situation, adding that he “threatened to call the police” if their daughter wasn’t brought back to his house. It was only after she returned and he felt “in control again” that she could evidently then leave for good.

The Instagram account also alleged that Randall Emmett had been using a picture online of his daughter from Lala Kent to “prey” on other women, which the Bravo star confirmed in the comments. Along with claiming that Emmett’s supposed new 23-year-old girlfriend was now “basically living” in their former home together, Kent shared:

Lala Kent has caught some flak from a certain Shahs of Sunset star for laying it all out there about her old flame for everyone to know. Which hasn’t been much of a deterrent, as one can see. In fact, Kent was candid recently about how she plans to discuss these negative stories with her daughter in the distant future.

The two exes currently split time co-parenting, but there is purportedly no direct communication between them about anything beyond their daughter. And despite the drama in Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season, Lala Kent has been leaning on support from (most of) her castmates in the interim.

For many years and many seasons on Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent defended her relationship with Midnight in the Switchgrass director/producer Randall Emmett against those who would question its authenticity. The two seemed to prove the naysayers wrong when they got engaged in 2018 and had their first child together in 2021. But it all came crashing down in October when rumors started circulating that Emmett cheated, rumors of which Kent has claimed are indeed true. The reality star is, in fact, continuing her streak of total transparency – including how she’ll explain “negative stories” about her ex-fiancé to their daughter someday.

As of right now, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s daughter, Ocean, is barely a year old. (She’ll have her first official birthday on March 15.) So it’s not likely that she’ll be wondering worrying about her father’s supposed extracurriculars anytime soon. However, fans recently questioned the Vanderpump Rules alum on her Instagram stories (via People) about the future, asking if she still worries about Ocean growing up with these “negative stories about her dad.” Kent responded:

It's an empowering message, and one that the star has been championing ever since her breakup. In her first public statement about her ex Randall Emmett amidst the hoopla, she asserted that her sobriety journey – which first started after the death of her father in 2018 – is stronger now more than ever. She’s also started dating other people, advocating for women’s financial independence and even claimed she would personally thank those women Emmett was reportedly caught sleeping around with. All the while, she's been raising a daughter as a first-time mom and juggling press duties for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. 

Since the split, Lala Kent has actually implied that her ex’s misdeeds are more than what the world knows. So much so, apparently, that her castmates have cut friendship and business ties with the Hollywood producer in the interim. Yet, Kent has still caught a bit of criticism for publicly shading the father of her child so thoroughly, with one Shahs of Sunset star even making some harsh cheating allegations of her own.

Here’s hoping that the still unfolding situation doesn’t actually have a negative affect Ocean as she matures. If celebrity splits have shown us anything, it's that co-parenting can become messy in the aftermath.

The star went on to say that it’s all contingent on how long a castmate has been on the show. She added that she knows her worth, though, and goes into salary negotiations with the mindset that she’s “absolutely” deserving of “a billion dollars per episode” – no matter how unlikely that budget is for Bravo. She also shared that she negotiates now to make sure her Give Them Lala brand is “relevant” on the show (i.e. screentime). In exchange, she has to essentially be the driver of the drama with castmates, saying,

After the tense Season 9 reunion for Vanderpump Rules, however, Lala Kent initially suggested that she might not return for another season of pot-stirring. Yet she said on Trading Secrets that this is usually what happens when she and her co-stars are feeling “drained” and “exhausted” after months of filming with the same group of people. But Kent is apparently still contemplating an exit, adding that she would need to do some “soul-searching” when it comes to whether the show is a “healthy environment” for her and her infant daughter.

It would seem, then, that the businesswoman is moving on in all possible ways: she’s headlining her own Give Them Lala speaking tour and is back in the dating game after her split. Whether it’s the end of her time on VR remains to be seen, although the powers-that-be might not exactly favor the alum laying bare that the drama is essentially created for pay increases.

Still, Lala Kent knows very well the privilege of being paid to argue. She said, “I’m sure an accountant in Ohio can’t just cause conflict and [their boss] be like, ‘You know what, Bob, you really stood your own. We’re going to give you a promotion.’”

While the latter supposedly broke up amicably, the former two clearly did not, with Kent shading her ex left, right and center in the wake of his reported cheating. Kent also called out her Bravo co-stars for the lack of compassion aimed at her during the reunion, and even threatened to walk away from the show at the time. In an update on her friendships, the 31-year-old reveals which ones still aren't fully supportive amidst the breakup.

On the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, the Vanderpump Rules alum wanted to make clear that her previous statements about her castmates and their treatment of her was all, apparently, in the heat of the moment. The star amended herself to say that their group has actually been “incredible.” However, there are two co-stars that are still lacking a certain je ne sais quoi in the friend department. She commented:

It is interesting that Tom Sandoval and girlfriend Ariana Madix were criticized in particular. Sandoval had in fact shared on Watch What Happens Live some weeks back that it wasn't likely that they all would be friends with Randall Emmett anymore, now that he and Lala Kent were broken up. Likewise, it was revealed that Madix and their other Vanderpump Rules co-star, Katie Maloney, had severed business ties with Emmett, who offered $150,000 to them both during the finale episode for their sandwich shop idea. Madix also revealed on social media that the finale fight between her and Lala Kent ended much more lovingly than was shown.

All in all, though, it sounds like Lala Kent is trying to say that some friendships amongst the cast are evidently more one-sided. Surprisingly, this isn't so much the case anymore with co-star Brock Davies. The VR newcomer and fiancé to Scheana Shay was dismissive of Kent’s woes at the reunion and outright shady about them since. Nevertheless, Kent added on her podcast that Davies actually sent a "very sweet message" apologizing for his behavior. As for anyone on the fence about being her friend now that her life looks dramatically different, the reality star had a message for them, saying:

Her friendships on Vanderpump Rules might be complicated, to say the least, but the matter of her sex life is a little more straightforward. She's moved on from Randall Emmett completely, and rumor has it, he "looks like Superman"…

After Hollywood producer Randall Emmett was supposedly caught out cheating with other women last October, his fiancée Lala Kent decided to end the relationship and move out with their infant daughter in tow. However, the 33-year-old reality star is paying the naysayers no mind as she gets candid about her sex life and hopes for the future.

On the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star delved right into details about her sexscapades over the recent years, and it doesn't sound pretty. She explained that alcohol played a huge role in how she would jump into bed with new people, saying that after only a few drinks it would be “on” (like Donkey Kong, so to speak). But that's all different now – because she's free of both alcohol and Randall Emmett. Lala Kent continued,

Ouch. This isn't the first time, though, that Lala Kent took aim at Randall Emmett’s apparent lack of sexpertise. She previously joked in a social media ad post that vibrators have helped her sex life quite a bit since the big split. The Bravo star has also been periodically shading her ex on everything from finances to those women he supposedly slept with. But Kent added on her podcast that she's still simultaneously nervous and excited for what’s in store for her bedsprings. She said,

Bravo fans have been eager to know if Lala Kent would ever in fact get back with her other ex/co-star on Vanderpump Rules in DJ James Kennedy, who has also gotten sober in recent years. However, the two were exceptionally vague about any potential reconnection during a Watch What Happens Live stint. Which might be for the best because fans and castmates learned the biggest shocker of them all during the last VR reunion concerning Kennedy's own sex life. (Apparently, he and ex fiancée Raquel Leviss haven't done the deed in several years.)

I don't think an extensive dry spell is exactly what Lala Kent has in mind for a “fun” time with a sexual partner. (New or old.) Either way, while she figures things out post-Randall Emmett breakup, it still isn't yet clear if she will return to Vanderpump Rules if Bravo greenlights another season. Here’s hoping she does because Kent is arguably the only one of cast really delivering the spice.

After nearly six years of dating, a three-year-long engagement and conceiving a daughter together, Lala Kent broke things off with Hollywood director/producer Randall Emmett. He was pictured with other women prior to the news breaking, and Kent has said that her ex-fiancé did actually cheat on her. The Vanderpump Rules alum has also claimed that she was totally blindsided by the revelations. However, her co-star Scheana Shay just dropped a bombshell about what Kent allegedly really knew concerning Emmett’s also alleged cheating.

The teaser for Part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion next week has shown Lala Kent in tears over the breakup, as she chastises the cast for purportedly knowing more than she did about Randall Emmett’s supposed behaviors, particularly James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval. She’s even contemplating leaving the show in the wake of her co-stars’ seemingly lack of support for her. But Scheana Shay suggested that the complete opposite is true in an interview with Us Weekly. She said,

Scheana Shay seems to be saying, then, that Lala Kent either did know or could’ve known in the past about these cheating rumors from her friends, but perhaps she just didn’t care to know either way. It is true that Kent refused to speak about her relationship with Randall Emmett in her early seasons (supposedly because he was in the midst of divorcing his then-wife). Only in Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules have fans even seen Emmett in such a major capacity.

At the same time, though, Scheana Shay claimed to the outlet that the Vanderpump Rules cast don’t put much stock in hearsay because they’ve apparently heard it all, and then some, before. Such is the nature of reality TV, but it does appear to poke significant holes in Lala Kent’s story that she knew nothing about her fiancé’s assumed extracurricular entanglements. Shay revealed,

Bravo alum Golnesa Gharachedaghi, from the Shahs of Sunset series, has also contradicted Lala Kent’s version of events on social media, even going so far as to imply that Kent cheated on Randall Emmett first. It’s become such a back-and-forth argument that the two have taken to questioning the other’s capability for compassion and understanding as single moms. Vanderpump Rules fans actually saw a similar situation play out between Kent and Scheana Shay during Season 9. Kent in fact questioned Shay’s motherhood decisions, in light of learning about her fiancé Brock Davies’ previous family troubles that include domestic violence and years-long absence from his kids.

Brock Davies has made some of his own (much harsher) comments about Lala Kent and her knowledge about Randall Emmett’s infidelity. Yet, other castmates have insinuated that their friendships with Emmett have taken a nosedive, so it doesn’t look as though couple date nights will ever be in the cards again for the previously close friend group, one way or the other. Well, the long-awaited fight finally happened – on finale night, no less. Bravo had teased a huge blow-up on Vanderpump Rules between Ariana Madix and Lala Kent, to include a lot of voice-mimicking and the now-iconic line, “Babe, I was born cool.” The how and why it all happened eventually came out in the latest episode. However, Madix has since shared what really went down between the two of them after the on-screen fight.

In essence, Lala Kent had spilled the beans to James Kennedy (in the middle of his engagement party) that Scheana Shay and Brock Davies were planning to upstage his weekend by getting secretly married themselves. Ariana Madix criticized Kent for her poorly timed efforts, resulting in the huge back-and-forth between them. As far as what was shown to fans on that Vanderpump Rules finale, it seemed as though the two co-stars didn't resolve anything. But Madix debunked that theory entirely on her Twitter account. Apparently, their fight ends way better than one could have hoped. See her post here:

Evidently, the two series alums/former lovers let bygones be bygones fairly soon after their fight took place. Ariana Madix had previously hinted as much would happen. I guess, leave it to Bravo to tease out all their drama for what it's worth, even if it was short-lived.

... Or was it short-lived? Lala Kent and Ariana Madix clearly had a makeup smooch after their argument, but the former claimed recently that the subsequently filmed reunion went left. So left, in fact, that the 31-year-old single mom was seriously considering leaving the show.

Lala Kent explained that she specifically didn't feel support from the cast at the reunion, concerning her breakup with Randall Emmett. (It didn’t help that she also supposedly gets her feet held to the coals about her confessional interviews.) But it is unclear who amongst them were unsupportive, particularly if she felt alienated from her makeout partner despite their reconciliation. Kent's new co-star, Brock Davies, most definitely still has beef with her and, judging by Scheana Shay’s recent tweets on the finale night, she's upset still, too.

Regardless of who amongst her cast she remains on good terms with, sheclaims that she is the happiest she's ever been. Weeks after she called off her engagement to Randall Emmett, the TV personality even shared that she wants to thank the women Emmett supposedly slept around with. She is also tentatively considering the prospect of dating her co-star James Kennedy again.

I'm more looking forward to an Ariana Madix and Lala Kent-Renaissance, though. If a Twitter pic is worth thousand words, then the two could write a whole new story together on Vanderpump Rules. Yet unfortunately, it was revealed in the finale that Randall Emmett indeed decided to invest in Madix’s business idea – so who knows if that complicates their relationship later. Lala Kent called off her engagement to Hollywood producer Randall Emmett a few months back, after photos of him with other women surfaced. The Vanderpump Rules star has taken to shading the father of her child in the press ever since and even claimed she would thank the women he apparently cheated with. Surprisingly, though, Emmett has found a champion in Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi. Of late, the Bravo alum has actually accused Kent of cheating on Emmett.

There's been a back-and-forth between the network’s two headliners for some time. In December, Golnesa Gharachedaghi wrote on Instagram that Lala Kent should "take accountability" for staying with Randall Emmett, to which Kent responded on Watch What Happens Live recently that GG was “inappropriate” because she “knows nothing” about the situation. (In the same interview, Kent also revealed whether or not she and her co-star James Kennedy might get back together now.) The Shahs of Sunset star reacted on her Twitter account in a since-deleted tweet (via Page Six), saying:

Technically, Golnesa Gharachedaghi is correct. On a previous season of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent famously "went down" on her co-star Ariana Madix in the back seat of a car while Madix’s boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was present. Nevertheless, the implications from all parties at the time was that it was not considered cheating and that Randall Emmett didn’t mind what happened.

Along with the pointed cheating allegation, other tweets from Golnesa Gharachedaghi have also been deleted. Specifically, Lala Kent shared on WWHL that she expected more “compassion” from GG, who is also a single mom. In response, Gharachedaghi insinuated that Kent was confused and that she would regret talking publicly about Randall Emmett’s supposed transgressions. The deleted post said:

Golnesa Gharachedaghi is known on Shahs of Sunset for having very strong opinions about sex and relationships. In the most recent season of the show, she, in fact, shared more about how she aligns with being polyamorous (which means having multiple consensual romantic partners at once). It got the reality star into some drama, though, when she weighed in on her co-star Mike Shouhed’s sexting scandal, saying that there was nothing wrong with it if that's the kind of relationship he likes. She summed up her views in a tweet in early January:

Lala Kent isn't the only one feeling the heat of Golnesa Gharachedaghi's opinions. Porsha Williams – ex Real Housewives of Atlanta star who can humbly say she is the most successful of her franchise – is receiving some feedback, too. Reacting to a recent episode of Porsha’s Family Matters, the fellow Bravolebrity wrote that she was “disturbed” by Williams’ violence toward the father of her child, Dennis McKinley. Williams has yet to respond to the commentary, though.

Honestly, Bravo feuds are a dime-a-dozen. Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards? Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards? They happen so often, but cheating allegations are in another bracket entirely of shots fired. And Lala Kent herself is known to blow up, too, so it's not looking like this growing feud with Golnesa Gharachedaghi will end well.

The end of Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s three-year-long engagement is the most significant Vanderpump Rules breakup to happen in quite a while. Emmett was spotted out-and-about with other women last fall, leading to speculation that he was cheating on his fiancée, which Kent has indeed confirmed to be true. The 31-year-old mother of Emmett’s youngest child will frequently even shade him in the press about it. Her former Vanderpump Rules co-star Brittany Cartwright weighed in as to whether she’s Team Lala or Team Randall in this situation.

Brittany Cartwright and her husband Jax Taylor abruptly left the show ahead of Season 9, so their standing with their previous castmates isn’t always known. However, as far as fans saw between Cartwright and Lala Kent on-screen, they were supposedly very good friends, and their respective partners were seen as equally good friends. When asked about the big split in an interview with E! News’ Daily Pop, Cartwright shared where the battle lines are really drawn, saying,

So, it would seem Lala Kent has at least one Vanderpump Rules alum in her corner, Jax Taylor and Randall Emmett’s supposed friendship notwithstanding. (Kent, too, shared in the midst of filming Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season that she missed ex-castmates like Cartwright and Stassi Schroeder “very much.”) Yet, the newly single mother is apparently not on good standing with the current cast, who she claimed did not show any love to her concerning the breakup during the reunion. Brock Davies definitely had a harsh thing or two to say.

More recently, Lala Kent and James Kennedy talked about both of their recent breakups on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, and kinda sorta maybe implied that they would be open to getting back together again. Crazier things have certainly happened on and off Vanderpump Rules...

…such as Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor's up-and-down storylines on the show. Taylor was even caught cheating on Cartwright at one point with Faith Stowers, whose accusations of racism in 2020 resulted in Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute getting fired from Vanderpump Rules. Speculation had it that Cartwright and Taylor’s exit was because they didn't support the recent firings, although they claimed it was only because they were refocusing their attention on their burgeoning family (that now includes a son named Cruz). Regardless, Brittany Cartwright is backing Lala Kent amidst the split, and only time will see how the drama continues to unfold.

The relationship between Vanderpump Rules co-stars Lala Kent and James Kennedy is a long and sordid tale to be sure. The short and sweet, though, is that Kennedy introduced Kent on the show as his girlfriend in Season 4 after the disastrous romantic dynamic between him and his other co-star Kristen Doute finally fell apart. Things played out as equally up-and-down between Kent and Kennedy before their own breakup. Fast-forward to a few years later, and the two are both now single at the same time. Bravo fans know what they'd like to see happen in the form of a recoupling, and the castmates chimed in on whether that could actually be in the cards. 

Following another juicy episode of their reality show airing on Bravo – which saw Brock Davies’ official proposal to Scheana Shay – Lala Kent and James Kennedy dropped in to dish with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. It was an auspicious moment in that not only has Kent broken off her engagement with Randall Emmett, but Kennedy and his fiancée/co-star Raquel Leviss broke theirs off recently, too. Of course, Cohen asked him what we were all thinking: does this mean they'll try dating each other again? For her part, Kent said,

Now, that's not a yes, but it's also not a no. (Cue the ominous music.) If anything, the Bravo alum seemed to be hedging her bets on what James Kennedy would say. When she did turn things over to him on Watch What Happens Live, he was unsurprisingly just as cagey in his response but didn't disappoint eager fans entirely, saying:

Technically, Lala Kent revealed on her podcast platform recently that she is in fact dipping her toe in the dating pool once more – only two months after her and Randall Emmett’s breakup. However, she added later on Watch What Happens Live that she is more so focused on taking care of her and Emmett’s 10-month-old daughter, Ocean. 

As for Emmett himself, Kent told Andy Cohen that she should have seen the red flags about his reported cheating sooner. The two ex-fiancés are apparently not speaking when it comes to anything outside their child.

James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss’ dis-engagement is a different story entirely. He told Andy Cohen that they still communicate and are friends. Although, Leviss evidently got their dog Graham in the “divorce,” with Kennedy claiming he got the engagement ring back. Reports have suggested that it was Leviss’ decision to end things because they were not “in love” anymore. Which seems fairly accurate if the Vanderpump Rules alum is okay to casually tease a future Lala Kent romance.

The two big breakups leave so many question marks hovering over the Vanderpump Rules cast. Will Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney still be financially backed by Randall Emmett for their sandwich shop idea? Will Raquel Leviss return to the series in Season 10? Will Lala Kent? She doesn't seem too optimistic, but the upcoming reunion show will hopefully hold some answers.

Per usual, Lala Kent is saying a lot in the current season of Vanderpump Rules. Much of it is at the expense of her fellow castmates (and those relationships). But the reality star has also been opening up about the dynamic between her and then-fiancé Randall Emmett – and it's been rather curious. In the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules (which aired on January 4), Lala Kent and Scheana Shay talked prenuptial agreements. Shay was firm that – after having to give up half her finances in her Michael Shay divorce – she wasn't going to have a repeat scenario with fiancé Brock Davies. Kent confirmed that she and Randall Emmett had gotten a prenup because she is “all about a plan B.” She also told her co-star:

It's been known pretty much since the beginning of their 3-year-long engagement that the couple was planning to have a prenup. So it's not so interesting that they actually went through with it (despite conceiving their first child together) but more so that it piggybacks off the star other comments that she was really anticipating things to possibly go left and needed those fail-safes in place. Weeks after their breakup, the Bravo veteran verified that her financially independent mindset is indeed what allowed her to walk away so smoothly after the cheating allegations surrounding her ex came out.

Randall Emmett was cut out of their formally joint podcast in the wake of the split. Lala Kent herself has taken to shading him in other ways and even indicated that she would thank the women behind his supposed cheating. This joie de vivre apparently also includes her dating life, with the Vanderpump Rules alum stating on the recent episode of her Give Them Lala podcast that she has already made the effort to move on by sliding into someone’s DMs recently. She revealed:

As is her right – as an officially single, non-married (or engaged) woman. But while Lala Kent is now exploring all her options, she might have to still answer for some of her Vanderpump Rules comments. We're piecing together the ones about Randall Emmett, but those ones about co-stars/friends Scheana Shay and Brock Davies aren’t going over so well with the parties in question. Brock Davies has come a long way from being Scheana Shay's casual fling in 2019 to her now fiancé and fellow main castmate on Vanderpump Rules. So far Season 9 has documented their burgeoning relationship quite a bit, including how they're raising their first child together. But their co-star, Lala Kent, has been critical of their affairs both in-person and in confessionals. In retaliation, the Australian newcomer is now throwing major shade at Kent amid her own very public relationship woes.

In the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules that aired on December 28, Lala Kent yet again accused Brock Davies in a confessional of being financially irresponsible, but this time specifically for expecting her and then-fiancé Randall Emmett to pick up the tab for his surprise wedding plans fell through. (Ironically, Kent and Davies were thought to be burying the hatchet on their issues up until that point.) The more seasoned Bravo alum has broken off her 3-year-long engagement with Emmett in the in the interim of the offseason due to his supposed cheating with other women. And Davies is using that information as fuel in their seemingly reignited feud. He said on the Tap In w/ Harry Jowsey podcast:

In essence, it would seem that Brock Davies is saying that his co-star shouldn’t have been throwing stones from a glass house. She slammed his relationship with Scheana Shay and he apparently thinks she got what was coming to her with Randall Emmett’s alleged cheating. The Give Them Lala podcast host, for her part, has said recently that many of her comments on Vanderpump Rules haven't aged well. However, her newbie co-star is not over it just yet. Davies continued:

Brock Davies again appears to be shading his co-star here by alluding to how Randall Emmett and his business were seemingly helping Lala Kent and her own business on the most recent episode. Davies added that the real reason his surprise wedding -- co-orchestrated by Kent and Emmett -- didn't go through was because it was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, not because he couldn't afford it or wouldn't pay for it.

In the aftermath of her breakup, the star has been frank about her struggles as a now-single mother during the holiday season. However, she also claims to be better than ever and has been encouraging other women to find financial independence from men.

Early episodes of Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season shed light on Brock Davies' past – thanks to Lala Kent – specifically about how he had a domestic violence charge from his ex-partner and hadn't seen his two kids from that relationship in years. Surprisingly, though, Scheana Shay has apparently been facilitating a reconciliation on that front. The two are still slated to have a big to-do destination wedding this year, but it's not looking as though Kent is still on the guest list.

Lala Kent is continuing the streak of spilling all the tea concerning her split with former fiancé Randall Emmett. Not only does she claim her sex life is now much improved, but she also insinuated that her time on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules series might actually come to an end because of the breakup. The reality star has also decided to address the women of Emmett’s alleged affairs – directly – and the message is more than a little surprising.

Just prior to the end of their 3-year-long engagement, photos began circulating of Randall Emmett in Nashville with two other women. It led to a whirlwind of speculation that he was perhaps cheating on Lala Kent. Kent herself would later confirm that the pics are what prompted her to change her “Rand" tattoo and move out with their infant daughter Ocean. However, in an interview with Page Six, the Vanderpump Rules alum shared that she's actually grateful for those unnamed women, saying,

The Bravo star added that, despite Randall Emmett’s claims otherwise to her, there's still apparently “proof elsewhere” that he was unfaithful. In fact, according to Lala Kent, their relationship “was based on nothing but lies.” Emmett, who is a major Hollywood producer, has yet to speak on the allegations beyond a brief exit statement on the couple's formerly joint podcast.

Nevertheless, it would seem that Lala Kent is feeling pretty empowered by the whole ordeal. She's making money off of it, as well as advocating for women in similar situations to become financially independent themselves. Kent summed it up by stating,

Their breakup has coincidentally been playing out in tandem with Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules airing, and many of the comments made by both Lala Kent and Randall Emmett on the show have not aged very well. Specifically, Kent has been criticizing her castmates’ relationships and defending her own by calling Emmett a “stand-up” guy. In the most recent episode, the two had a particularly awkward conversation (in hindsight) about needing to be honest in their partnership.

Everything is different in hindsight, though. Lala Kent is now taking her Randall Emmett lemons and making lemonade. While her Vanderpump Rules future is still a question mark, the reality star is taking her blunt thoughts on the road with a Give Them Lala Live: The Brand New Tour, which is slated for April to May of 2022.

Lala Kent shared that she is “extremely passionate about this topic at this time,” given her situation with Randall Emmett, the father of her 8-month-old daughter. She candidly stated,

This revelation about her finances is just more fuel for the speculation that Lala Kent anticipated a breakup with Randall Emmett for some time. She explicitly said during the currently airing season of Vanderpump Rules that she was willing to not even get married to him, just so they would not be “legally” tied together should things change. Well, things did change and the Bravo star was prepared. She urged her podcast listeners to consider doing the same, saying,

Luckily for Lala Kent, unlike so many women, she has had a few different streams of revenue to fall back on after ending her engagement with Randall Emmett. Not only is she raking in the beans from her various ad promotions on social media and the podcast, she is also still a main castmate on Bravo's hit show Vanderpump Rules. However, her future on the series might not be as certain anymore, considering how bad Kent says filming the Season 9 reunion went.

But it was the hilarious caption that really caught people's eyes when the reality star said, “It's the best sexy time I've had in five years and eight months.” How ironic – that just so happens to be the length of her relationship to with her ex. However, in the latest season that involves him more than ever, fans have started to learn that Kent seemed to anticipate a breakup happening for them, and so too did co-star Tom Sandoval.

Since the split, the starlet has been adamant that her only priority is to protect her and Randall Emmett’s 8-month-old daughter, Ocean. And despite the company of free vibrators, she revealed that it has been tough being a single mom during the holidays. As for Emmett himself, he has been kicked off their formerly joint podcast and stated only in his last episode that he was going to keep things private moving forward.

When star isn't actively waving vibrators in the face of her ex, though, she still has a thing or two to also shade about her co-stars. The show's ninth season just wrapped filming the reunion – and matriarch Lisa Vanderpump had one of her signature dirty jokes for the occasion. But Lala Kent conveyed that none of her castmates besides Raquel Leviss (who is in the midst of her own breakup) have reached out in support before or after the breakup hoopla. As a matter of fact, she added that she might not even return to the Bravo series next season due to their lack of loyalty and sympathy.

Amidst all the drama, Kent is apparently questioning her future on the show.

On her newly rebranded, post-breakup Give Them Lala podcast, Lala Kent shared that the Vanderpump Rules reunion recently wrapped filming, and that it didn’t go so well. The 31-year-old said that the cast laid the hammer down on her for things she’s said about her co-stars' relationships in Season 9 and more “things from 5 years ago.” The aggression was so harsh, apparently, that she might not come back for Season 10. She revealed:

Lala Kent continued, saying that she felt “alone and isolated” at the reunion and more so after filming was over. She’s been shading her ex-Randall Emmett left and right on social media, but she hoped that her Vanderpump Rules castmates would’ve been checking up on her emotional state anyway. The Bravo star said:

Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy just recently called off their own seven-month-long engagement, and it’s purportedly because Leviss wanted to go in a different direction. Their co-star Lala Kent disclosed that she reached out to them amidst their split, and that Leviss reciprocating contact with her about Randall Emmett “meant everything.” It is quite surprising that Leviss was the only one sympathetic to Kent, especially considering how the two got into notorious arguments on the show in the past, with Leviss once even getting called a “Bambi-eyed bitch.”

Quite frankly, though, if Lala Kent quits, there won’t be much of a show left. She’s singlehandedly been carrying the lion’s share of the drama on Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season ever since several controversial stars were fired last year. But Kent isn’t too bothered about what her future could hold sans VR, saying she has “so many other things that are less boring to be doing.” Tune into the final episodes, to be followed by the aforementioned reunion, on Bravo on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. EST.

Ever since calling off her engagement to producer Randall Emmett, Lala Kent has seemed to sprinkle a lot of her trademark IDGAF shade on the situation. But now the Vanderpump Rules alum is getting real on the big split, as she addresses cheating rumors and dealing with the holiday season in the aftermath.

Her ex-fiancé had been seen out and about with other women in Nashville just prior to their breakup, leading to allegations that he had possibly been cheating. Yet the reality TV star wouldn’t confirm or deny the speculation later in her first public statement. However, in the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast – which used to be Give Them Lala… and Randall – Lala Kent revealed that she has actually been “incredibly stressed out.” The Vanderpump Rules star touched on the cheating rumors and how it affected her relationship, saying,

Apparently, though, dealing with the end of her relationship has been hard to navigate. She calls her new home that she's moved into her “safe house,” but there are still ups and downs. Lala Kent stated in fact that because her stomach has been “in knots” over the Randall Emmett situation, she has lost over 10 pounds since the breakup and has had to actually “force feed” herself to get sustenance. And she's a little ambivalent about the upcoming December festivities:

Lala Kent has made several interesting comments on Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season, which have come across to some fans as ironic given the situation she's now in with Randall Emmett. Particularly, Kent has been bringing up issues concerning Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ relationship, as well as Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s marriage. On her podcast, Kent reflected that her head was “in the sand” at the time concerning her own relationship and the comments obviously “didn't age well.” Moreover, she claimed that while filming she was “someone who thought she was in a very different situation than she was actually in.”

The Vanderpump Rules reunion show is set to be filming in the coming week, according to the newly single Bravo star. And if Andy Cohen didn't hold back one ounce for Erika Jane's legal troubles, then I'm sure Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s relationship won't be off limits. Hopefully, Lala Kent continues to not hold back on that front, either.

The three-year-long engagement between Lala Kent and Hollywood producer Randall Emmett has come to an end and, with it, a lot more drama. Kent, a main cast member on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules for the last four seasons, has taken her traditional route of being extra ice-cold shady towards her ex. (Supposedly, Emmett had cheated on her a few months ago, prompting the breakup.) The latest shade maneuver is coming from the likes of Kent’s own clothing line – and I'm absolutely living for it.

On her official merch store, Lala Kent is now selling “bRand new” pink hoodies for $50 a pop. It would seem innocent enough business venture on the face of things to an outsider, but in actuality, it's another slight against her former fiancé. Check it out for yourself down below:

A few weeks prior, the reality TV star unveiled on her Instagram that her former “Rand” tattoo, a seemingly life-long dedication to Randall Emmett himself, was updated to say “bRand new.” (Ouch.) Now, she's going to be making a profit off the move as well? Ingenious. Looks like she's following the blueprint of a certain Real Housewives star’s shade against the legally embattled Jen Shah.

This isn’t the first blood drawn, though. The shade has actually been going on for some time since the couple's breakup. In fact, after the news broke, Lala Kent was using Beyoncé’s hit song “Sorry,” loud and proud, on social media. And not long after the Rand tattoo erasure, the reality star made light of the situation and her new house to boot in a sponsored ad post for non-alcoholic wine. (So clearly, she has no qualms about making money off the split.) What's even more is that she cut her ex and his name out of the podcast they started together – but apparently, he's totally fine with it.

Their relationship has always followed a fascinating path of intrigue, so far as Vanderpump Rules is concerned. For a long time, Lala Kent wouldn’t even mention her former beau's name on the show because he was technically still married. Only in the last season alone have fans seen the Midnight in the Switchgrass producer more frequently. Kent has slowly opened up more about their relationship as a result, stating at one point that she offered to not get married to him, so as to keep things “legally” free between them should anything happen.

Well, things appear to have happened, whatever the real case may be. They're both "legally" free of each other now, too, except for the pair's responsibility of their 8-month-old daughter, Ocean. But if Lala Kent – notorious for going for the jugular and calling even relatively nice people “Bambi-eyed” bitches – is already willing to throw down her relationship in exchange for revenue, then there really is no hope for Randall Emmett next.

Since the breakup, the Vanderpump Rules star has seemingly been the one throwing a little shade at her ex – from using Beyoncé’s cheating anthem “Sorry” in one post to changing her “Rand” tattoo into “bRand new” in another. Now, she's back at it again.

It has been reported that the Bravo star and her 8-month-old daughter Ocean moved out of the house they shared with Randall Emmett a few weeks ago. On Instagram recently, she confirmed the change of address in a sponsored post for Starla wine. And nothing quite says shade like looking “thirty, flirty and thriving” after a split – while also making a profit. Specifically, she said in the post,

However, the star has been maintaining her sobriety for the last three years, and nothing can seemingly deter her from that path. In her first official statement after the split from Randall Emmett, she shared that she was having a tough time but that her sobriety has been stronger than ever. She has found a new living situation and to top it off, dropped her ex and his name from their previously joint podcast called Give Them Lala... with Randall. Emmett only cryptically stated in his last episode (solo hosting) that he was remaining “private” about his life going forward.

Amidst their public breakup, though, the currently airing season of Vanderpump Rules has revealed some hints about their relationship’s dynamic. Randall Emmett has been making more appearances, and Lala Kent shared at one point that she offered him a get-out-of-marriage free pass, which he supposedly denied. Her co-star, Tom Sandoval, also indicated on the show that he had heard “weird” things about Emmett on social media, implying that maybe Kent shouldn’t have been too quick to judge Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ relationship.

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies themselves appear more committed than ever. Shay has even been facilitating productive conversations between Davies and his estranged ex. They are also on the way to getting married, which may or may not be filmed for Vanderpump Rules. Nevertheless, it would seem Randall Emmett might not get an invite to that one if Lala Kent has anything to say about it.

At the beginning of 2020, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and her then-fiancé Randall Emmett, a Hollywood producer, launched their Give Them Lala... and Randall podcast. They shared their personal lives and interviewed some of the biggest actors out there, including Sylvester Stallone and Emmett’s collaborator on Midnight in the Switchgrass, Megan Fox. However, the couple has recently called off their engagement, with Kent reportedly having moved out of the house they shared together. Now, in a very candid announcement, Emmett is saying he's stepping away from their joint podcast as well.

The breakup is speculated to be the result of the producer allegedly cheating on the reality TV star. (And she seemingly anticipated on her show what it would come to.) She then alluded to the situation in her first post-split statement on their podcast, but she didn't explain why it happened. She’s also been hosting the show solo ever since. But in the latest episode, the producer returned (also solo) to talk with Britney Spears’ fiancé, Sam Asghari, about his new film, Hot Seat. Emmett revealed in his intro:

Randall Emmett continued that he's “proud” of what they accomplished in the podcast and that overall, it was “really fucking fun.” However, he tactfully avoided mentioning the breakup elephant in the room. Before getting into the interview, he concluded with a slightly vague statement, saying:

The podcast departure sounds like their split is well and truly permanent, if we didn't already guess it from Lala Kent posting on Instagram about how she changed her “Rand” tattoo into “bRand new.” Moreover, the name of the podcast has since been changed to simply Give Them Lala, but what does this mean for the future of Vanderpump Rules? Randall Emmett has been on screen more than ever in the currently airing season. Likely, because of the breakup, he will become a faceless name as he was in previous years of the show. Yet that probably won't fly with some of her co-stars, whose private lives she herself has refused to keep private.

With any luck, Bravo fans won't have to wait all the way for Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules before Lala Kent gets more frank about the situation. At least she got the podcast in the (semi)divorce?

It's been confirmed that, after being engaged for three years, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have split. The circulating rumors suggest that Emmett cheated on the Vanderpump Rules star, prompting her to move out with their 8-month-old daughter. Technically, in the currently airing season of the reality show, Lala Kent is racking up on feuds. So far, she's gotten into heated arguments with co-stars Ariana Madix, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, and Tom Sandoval. But despite the fact that Kent had harsh words for Shay and Davies’ relationship (concerning a previous domestic violence charge), they aren't returning the favor for Kent’s breakup with the Midnight in the Switchgrass producer Randall Emmett. In fact, Shay told Us Weekly:

It's a slightly touchy and, not to mention, ironic situation. Vanderpump Rules is still reeling from the recent revelations that Brock Davies hasn't seen his kids from a prior relationship for years. Lala Kent made a pointed effort to have that history known to the cast and even admonished Scheana Shay that she needed to protect her newborn daughter as a result. When faced with pushback from Tom Sandoval about her needing to worry about her own relationship, Kent became very defensive and claimed that Randall Emmett was “a stand-up guy.”

The recent breakup has thrown a lot more of Lala Kent’s comments into a different light. Interestingly, she stated in a recent episode that she offered to not marry her ex-beau at all, so as to not have any legally binding scenario between them. Which has led to speculation that the two might have had an open relationship in some capacity. Bravo newcomer Brock Davies reflected about it all while chatting with Us Weekly, saying,

Despite Brock Davies’ disagreements with Lala Kent on the show, it would seem that is hasn't totally ruined their friendship. He said that the cast is “very much a crazy, true mess of friends.” Scheana Shay's fiancé also noted that even if there is “awkwardness” amongst them, they tend to “fix” the issues and become “deeper glued” that way.

The relationship between Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and Midnight in the Switchgrass producer Randall Emmett has taken a negative turn as of late. By all accounts on the show, they were ride-or-dies for each other, especially Kent, who famously never let any of her co-stars talk smack about her “man.” The two welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Ocean, in March and were supposed to be walking down the aisle. Now, however, they are broken up and living separately. (It appears to be the result of Emmett being spotted with other women lately.) Apparently, though, Kent saw this end result coming a long time ago.

Vanderpump Rules started filming for Season 9 earlier this summer and, as the couple promised, Randall Emmett has more of a role than ever before. The big-time producer might be regretting the spotlight, given the hot seat he is in now. Yet what was said during production suggests that his ex anticipated the issues that were soon to come. She said on the November 9th episode of the Bravo show:

The comment obviously has greater significance in hindsight because things have, in fact, gone south and the only person the producer legally has to provide for is his infant daughter. The other plans the couple shared in the episode haven't aged well as a result. Specifically, while having brunch with Lisa and Ken Vanderpump, Randall Emmett claimed at the time that after the fall season, they would “replan” their wedding for 2022. The two were engaged since 2018, and Lala Kent shared that the long wait was because Emmett wanted a “production,” whereas she only wanted a quiet, “backyard” affair.

One now gets the feeling that the wedding’s delay was actually because Lala Kent had her suspicions about her relationship. Likewise, her co-star, Tom Sandoval, shared on the same episode that he heard things about her ex as well that were suspicious. He didn't go into specifics, stating only that he received “weird DMs” from people about him and that “you don't know what goes on behind closed doors.” Sandoval's implication seemed to be that Kent shouldn’t be throwing stones at Scheana Shay from a glass house.

Lala Kent’s castmates also officially confirmed on the show what was previously only hearsay, which was that Randall Emmett was married when he started dating the reality star. Perhaps Kent’s reluctance to get married herself has something to do with not wishing to have the same circumstances befall her. (It obviously won't now at all given their breakup.) In her first statement on the situation, she shared that she was “going through a lot” but that her sobriety was stronger than ever.

Unfortunately, the two recently broke up, reportedly over infidelity, and the reality star is speaking out for the first time about how she's handling the change.

Images have been circulating for some time that apparently show Randall Emmett with two women in Nashville, before Lala Kent scrubbed all vestiges of her former fiancé from social media. Supposedly, she has since moved out of their condo in Santa Monica, per Page Six. In her first statement on the matter, ironically on her podcast called Give Them Lala...with Randall, her ex was inexplicably absent and replaced (by a woman only named Jessica). But the reality TV star shared:

The Bravo alum was also later joined by her former Vanderpump Rules co-star Brittany Cartwright on the podcast. (Cartwright and her husband Jax Taylor famously left the reality show last year not long after some castmates were fired over a race controversy.) But Lala Kent wanted to make it clear on the podcast that the breakup hasn't shaken her sobriety. She revealed:

The Lisa Vanderpump-led show is currently airing Season 9 in the backdrop of the breakup and, again ironically, the relationship is taking up a big portion of the storyline. The two are shown congenially taking care of their infant daughter, Ocean, with Randall Emmett going to more and more events with the cast. In the most recent episode, Lala Kent confronted Scheana Shay over her fiancé Brock Davies’ previous relationship, only for co-star Tom Sandoval to accuse her of hypocrisy, considering that she and Emmett got together when he was still married.

Obviously, the drama hasn't lessened on Vanderpump Rules with the loss of cast. If anything, it's only gotten more serious, as promised. As of yet, the recent exes haven't exemplified any relationship problems on screens. For more clarity on things, though, tune into the Bravo show on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. EST.

Over the years, there have been many notorious feuds on Vanderpump Rules. Stassi Schroeder versus Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor versus everyone, DJ James Kennedy versus everyone, and on and on. But the one between Ariana Madix and Lala Kent in the latest season just doesn't make sense. (I mean, Kent famously ate Madix’s “cookie” at one point in the not-so-distant past...) But Madix has given a status update on their feud and the future of their friendship.

In the show's Season 9 opener, the pair had a heated argument over Lala Kent’s previous comments on a podcast, where she said they “don't give a fuck about each other.” That was seemingly the impetus of the feud, but we have yet to get concrete answers on the show as to why exactly they fell out. Yet ironically, on Yahoo's We Should Talk podcast, Ariana Madix explained that fans will find out more in the upcoming episodes, saying:

It seems most likely that what the two can't or won't see “eye-to-eye on” is about Scheana Shay's relationship with Brock Davies. Lala Kent recently voiced concerns to Shay after learning that Davies has a domestic violence charge from his ex, which is supposedly also why he can't see his other kids. Ariana Madix seemingly didn't get involved in the moment, but the teaser for the next episode suggests that Kent’s notorious temper kicks up once again. Perhaps she sides with Shay that it's really none of Kent’s business…

During the same interview, though, the star went on to say that the feud isn't quite so serious as fans might think. She even revealed that they reconciled in a previous episode, but Bravo decided to cut it out. She said: 

The Vanderpump Rules alum further clarified what else hasn’t been shown this season regarding her co-star. For one, she claims that they talked out Lala Kent’s other shady moments regarding Ariana Madix from Season 8 that didn't come out. And apparently, in the never-before-seen episode, the two discussed Kent blocking Madix’s number and unfollowing her on social media. Madix said that at the time she felt like she was “being gaslit until the frickin’ cows come home.”

Honestly, it all sounds like the result of bad communication and reactive personalities. But then again, that's the heart and soul of Vanderpump Rules. To see the new episodes, tune into Bravo on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.

The premiere of Megan Fox’s latest movie, a crime thriller co-starring Bruce Willis, had a lot more drama to speak of besides what's in the actual movie. The director's fiancée, Lala Kent, who also stars in Bravo's Vanderpump Rules, was accused of shading the Jennifer's Body actress for not attending the event. Then Machine Gun Kelly got in some hot water for trashing the film's lack of, um, cinematic quality that same day. (Despite his criticisms, the rapper only had a brief role in the movie.) Nevertheless, Kent revealed that Machine Gun Kelly reached out to her fiancé, Randall Emmett, after the hoopla.

The movie in question, Midnight in the Switchgrass, is based on the true story of the “Truck Stop Killer” with actress Megan Fox playing the FBI agent tracking him down and Machine Gun Kelly appearing as a bit pimp character. Their chemistry on set seemingly carried over into real life because the two started dating, but Machine Gun Kelly had a funny way of showing loyalty to the movie that brought them together. (He used a trash can emoji when alluding to it on Twitter on the premiere night.) According to Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent though, Machine Gun Kelly was singing a different tune later to Randall Emmett, who produced/directed the film. Kent said this on Watch What Happens Live:

So it seems that Machine Gun Kelly isn't as ruthless about his movie with Megan Fox as was previously believed. The rapper-turned-actor made amends with his former director Randall Emmett, and the reasoning is perhaps understandable. Though MGK touts a bad-boy image, it never hurts to be on good terms with a big-time Hollywood figure like Emmett, who has even produced a few of Martin Scorsese's works, including Silence and The Irishman. Still, his fiancée Lala Kent got some backlash, too, only for supposedly shading Fox at the Midnight in the Switchgrass premiere by blocking out Fox’s image on a poster when taking pictures. The Vanderpump Rules star later denied the accusations.

It's kind of befitting that the reality TV star is in the mix of all the petty drama from Megan Fox’s Midnight in the Switchgrass premiere. Lala Kent, along with starring in one of her fiancé’s last produced films, has been on Vanderpump Rules for six seasons. And even though she's been known to eviscerate her castmates on the show, she didn't appreciate Machine Gun Kelly's takedown of her man's film. She said:

In essence, Lala Kent was saying to leave it to the professionals. And Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox might not know this, but the Vanderpump Rules cast are indeed certified professionals in the art of shade. The ninth season of Vanderpump Rules is finally airing now, and Kent herself still has the same silver tongue, even as a new mother.

Hopefully, Megan Fox’s “trash” movie side-dramas are now put to bed entirely. Although Machine Gun Kelly has other more serious troubles on the horizon to deal with concerning his upcoming directorial debut.

The ninth season of Vanderpump Rules has been a long time coming. What with COVID-19 delays and cast shakeups, fans weren't even sure at one point if it would return at all. But finally, filming commenced earlier this year and ultimately wrapped this month. Now, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett are revealing why we will see him more on the show than we ever did in the past.

For the most part, as fans well know, Randall Emmett has only been on the periphery of Vanderpump Rules over the years. When Lala Kent was first dating him, she wouldn't even say his name out loud, referring to him only as “my man” on the show. But things will apparently be different in Season 9. At the Midnight in the Switchgrass premiere, which Emmett directed and produced, Kent told Variety that they use to “get away” with his lack of presence but having a child together kind of put the kibosh on that. Emmett added:

So it seems the birth of their daughter, Ocean, in March is the reason behind Randall Emmett now being much more visible on Vanderpump Rules. (The most fans ever saw of him in seasons past was during the orchestration of a fake arrest prank on Tom Sandoval.) Lala Kent has previously shared on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast that Season 9 features plenty of drama, but there will also be a lot of touching moments through her and co-star Scheana Shay's newfound motherhoods.

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules only just wrapped filming over a week ago, and Lisa Vanderpump took the time out of her increasingly busy schedule to celebrate it. But before the final curtain call came, the show managed to sneak in DJ James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss' engagement party as the closer. Judging from Kennedy and other cast members' testaments, fans should expect something totally new and different in the long-awaited season. (Hopefully, they don't just mean Randall Emmett’s increased camera time.)

Something that wasn't caught on camera in Season 9 (because it happened a little too late) was how the entire Vanderpump Rules cast got invited to the Midnight in the Switchgrass premiere. All of the current cast was in attendance, as well as ousted and fired castmates like Stassi Schroeder, Beau Clarke, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright. The film stars Bruce Willis as an FBI agent tracking down a serial killer, alongside real-life couple Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, the latter of whom isn't too pleased with the final outcome.

Apparently, there was even more drama at the Midnight in the Switchgrass premiere, as fans speculated that Lala Kent was shading star Megan Fox for missing the premiere by posting a pic of herself blocking the actress on the poster. Fox herself responded to the hoopla to USA Today, saying that Kent is a “lovely person” and someone she couldn’t imagine intentionally doing “anything negative like that.” Kent told Access Hollywood that she wasn’t shading Fox at all and that she was just getting her picture taken by her mom.

The whole ordeal is proof that drama and shade isn’t reserved for the likes of just Bravo reality shows. It's universal. Midnight in the Switchgrass is available in theaters and on demand now, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules.

Like many shows last year, Vanderpump Rules was left in production limbo due to the quarantine restrictions. But several of the most notorious castmates, like Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, as well as a few newbies, became embroiled during the same time in various race scandals that saw them eventually fired by Bravo. Only a few months later, Jax Taylor and his wife Brittany Cartwright up and quit – claiming they wanted to focus on their newborn son and other “projects.” Now the show is finally set for its Season 9 return and Lala Kent has an admission about those former cast members.

Suffice to say, fans are excited by filming finally commencing for the ninth season of Vanderpump Rules. Apparently, though, Lala Kent has more complicated feelings about it. She joined on the show as James Kennedy's friend, alongside series regulars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Jax Taylor back in 2015. But now at least half of last year’s cast is out. When asked what it was like filming without them during a Q&A on her Instagram stories, Kent said (via US Weekly):

The new dynamic this year on Vanderpump Rules of a smaller, less controversial cast could be weird for viewers as well. The drama usually picks up where it got left off and last year, Jax Taylor’s decades-long friendship with Tom Sandival looked done for good. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney didn’t look too strong either. Lala Kent managed to maintain a mostly neutral position last season, but it was hard-won, considering how she has feuded with all her castmates over the years.

Lala Kent recently spoke out about Stassi Schroeder being fired from Vanderpump Rules. In her opinion, Bravo should’ve opted to keep her for another season and shown “what it was like to have to pay for all of these things she’s said and done in her past and basically lose everything.”

So far as we know, though, Bravo is leaving the past in the past and moving onto more family-friendly territory for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. James Kennedy, who recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend Raquel Leviss, thinks friendships that “didn’t see the light of day” before COVID-19 will be a focus. Meanwhile, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay both had their first babies in recent months. Apparently, the joys of motherhood are in store for viewers. Kent said to US Weekly about the new season:

It sounds more like Vanderpump Rules is going from 100 to 0 real fast. Though, Lala Kent also teased that there is “two years of, like, pent-up animosity.” I guess we’ll find out this fall who is the target of Kent’s own infamous animosity.

Vanderpump Rules loves a little drama, but not the kind it faced last year. As Season 8 played in the background, newcomers to the show were accused of inappropriate language on social media and longtime star Stassi Schroeder faced a racism scandal alongside co-star Kristen Doute. They were all ultimately fired from the reality show, but Lala Kent is weighing in on whether that was the right decision.

As protests for racial inequality erupted across the nation last year, Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder’s previous behavior and actions were called into question. Her former co-star Faith Stowers, who is Black, described how Schroeder called the cops on her at one point for a crime she did not commit. The fallout resulted in Bravo firing Schroeder after eight seasons on the show. Co-star Lala Kent, however, believes Bravo should have taken a different approach. She said on the Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald podcast:

Reality stars are frequently afforded leeway to say and do crazy things, but many were shocked by Faith Stowers’ experience and by the fact that Stassi Schroeder’s behavior had been seemingly brushed aside for too long. The police incident reportedly happened in 2018. Former Vanderpump Rules co-star Billie Lee even described some of the “toxic” behavior that she experienced with Schroeder as recently as 2019.

But Lala Kent thinks Stassi Schroeder should’ve been given the opportunity to face the scandal directly on Vanderpump Rules. Others have had similar thoughts about Chris Harrison and The Bachelor. It’s a polarizing debate centered on the concept of “cancel culture” and whether growth or consequence is the better route for forward movement. On Schroeder, Kent elaborated:

Months after being fired, Stassi Schroeder publicly admitted to her mistakes on The Tamron Hall Show. Recently on The Good, The Bad, The Baby podcast (via US Weekly), Schroeder spoke about how her firing from Vanderpump Rules affected the sex reveal of her baby with Beau Clark. Apparently, it was meant to be a plane fly over with a banner of the gender, but they decided against it because they “weren’t in the mood to celebrate.”

But with Stassi Schroeder and near half of the old cast fired (and Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright quitting), the ninth season will probably be very different from what most fans are used to. Lala Kent and Scheana Shay will be new mommies, for one. And DJ James Kennedy is making some big promises. Hopefully, the reality show can survive without some of its major (and controversial) players.

Lala Kent has been a Vanderpump Rules mainstay since she first appeared on the Bravo show back in Season 4. However, more recently she’s been known for her relationship with producer Randall Emmett, who finally made an appearance on Vanderpump Rules earlier in 2020. The two were supposed to get married this year, but with COVID-19 in full swing, they’ve postponed. Now, rapper 50 Cent seems to be shading the couple for the choice.

50 Cent is fond of reposting headlines on his Instagram and honestly he's never been one to avoid controversy. So, after Lala Kent and Randall Emmett decided to cancel their wedding due to coronavirus gathering restrictions, he had a very blunt comment about the event changing dates.

The rapper also added a #bransoncognac and #abcforlife among others to the post, which is just an additional marketing layer on top of the shade he threw at the reality couple.

How Lala Kent’s Wedding Was Supposed To Happen

Originally, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett were set to be married on April 18. Kent had previously been open about not enjoying some aspects of wedding planning, such as registering for gifts.

However, the wedding was expected to be a big one, as Lala Kent previously said her partner wanted their nuptials “to be extravagant” and “gangster-chic.” Lisa Vanderpump, a huge reality star and celebrity in her own right, was expected to have a role in the wedding and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright and Katie Maloney were all asked to be bridesmaids.

While the event was not set to be televised it was going to be a big deal and given the restrictions on large gatherings and the shelter-at-home orders going on throughout the country, it makes sense Lala Kent and Randall Emmett ultimately canceled.

So, Why Is 50 Cent Seemingly Invested In This Enough To Throw Shade?

This really all has to do with an ongoing feud between Curtis Jackson and Randall Emmett. The latter is a film and TV producer. He recently worked on The Irishman as a producer, but he’s also an executive producer on Starz’s popular series Power, which 50 Cent is also involved with.

In 2019, 50 Cent alleged Randall Emmett owed him a million dollars -- money the producer reportedly borrowed years prior to the feud and had failed to pay back. The feud was very big and very public at the time, and eventually Emmett paid up. At one point, it seemed the hatchet was buried, but now it looks like there are still some hurt feelings on the matter.

The feud has also been lucrative for 50 Cent, who made a bunch of t-shirts off of a “fofty” typo Emmett included in a text to the rapper.

So, it’s no surprise he threw a little shade out again at the news of these nuptials. Meanwhile, it’s probably pretty sad to have to cancel your wedding, so in this case, perhaps cutting the couple a break even if there is still beef is the better call.

In a February episode of Vanderpump Rules, it became clear that Lala Kent is still fairly sensitive about the situation when Lala grew irritated with James Kennedy for his own social media post that made light of the “Fofty” situation.
