The Kardashians fans didn’t have to wait long to see Khloé Kardashian reunite with ex-husband Lamar Odom, after it was promised in the trailer for the new season that just premiered on the 2025 TV schedule. Those with a Hulu subscription got to see the former couple’s first face-to-face meeting since 2016, according to Khloé, and viewers certainly had opinions about it. Some couldn’t stand the awkwardness, while others got all in their feels over the love these two had (have?) for each other.

Malika Haqq helped to facilitate the meetup between the exes, who got married in 2009 one month after meeting each other at a party. The whole situation was complicated, because you could tell the former L.A. Laker was feeling emotional. However, it’s impossible to forget how much pain his infidelity and addiction issues caused Khloé Kardashian. @masithole__ wrote on X (Twitter):

For me personally, Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom remain my favorite couple of all the Kardashian-Jenner family romances we’ve seen over the years (my apologies to Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s relationship), and let’s be real — Khloé and Lamar was the most interesting of all the E! spinoffs. I was suprised to see that so many fans were like me and just completely wrecked at how much love there still is between them. Another @gowthefl0 wrote:

It’s amazing to see these two wish only the best for each other after all these years, considering everything they’ve been through — particularly what Lamar Odom put his ex-wife through. Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013 amid the cheating and drug use, but they put that on pause in October 2015 when the former NBA star overdosed in a brothel.

As Khloé Kardashian recalled on the February 6 episode of The Kardashians, she helped him in his recovery before continuing with the divorce. Their marriage was officially over in 2016. It’s certainly a hard time to think back on for Khloé, and it was pretty hard on fans, too, as other social media comments included:

• I feel there’s no amount of apologies that could ever excuse the actions and trauma Lamar put Khloé through, no matter how hard he grovels. but I hope this gave Khloé closure on this chapter of her life. Fresh start for her 40s – LaurenHxo_

Whether you found it too awkward to sit through or got nostalgic for KoKo and LamLam, it seems most fans are hoping Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom would both ultimately get the closure they needed from each other. I hope the same for myself and fellow fans.

New episodes of The Kardashians Season 6 drop every Thursday on Hulu.

It feels like it’s been a minute since we’ve peeked behind the curtain of the Kardashian-Jenner regime, but thankfully our time in the dark is almost over. The Kardashians Season 6 hits the 2025 TV schedule on February 6 (streaming with a Hulu subscription), and a trailer for the new season shows some of the highlights of what we can expect. One of the more surprising bits of the preview features Khloé Kardashian reuniting with her ex-husband Lamar Odom, and now the former NBA star has spoken out with details, including who facilitated the on-camera meet-up.

Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian have a long and complicated past, which is ironic considering they got married after knowing each other for only a month. The ex-L.A. Laker struggled with alcohol, substance abuse and infidelity, which led to their divorce, but Odom has maintained strong feelings for Khloé over the years. That makes it especially surprising that he wasn’t the one who suggested the reunion, as the Celebrity Big Brother alum told The Kyle & Jackie O Show:

Malika Haqq is well-known to fans of the Kardashian-Jenner family as one of Khloé’s closest friends, so it’s surprising to me that she would offer to make that connection. It sounds like Lamar Odom didn’t even realize they would be filming for The Kardashians, as he said:

It's been a while, but Lamar Odom is no stranger to the reality TV cameras. His and Khloé Kardashian’s quick courtship was featured on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2009 leading up to the very special Season 4 episode, “The Wedding.” He continued to be on the show sporadically after the wedding when he wasn't traveling with the Lakers, and the couple ultimately starred in their own spinoff, Khloé and Lamar.

Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, but those proceedings were put on hold when, in October 2015, Lamar Odom overdosed in a brothel, suffering a dozen strokes and two heart attacks. After she helped him recover, they went ahead with the divorce in 2016.

The podcast hosts asked if Lamar Odom's upcoming appearance on The Kardashians was an indication that they had gotten back together (or were hooking up), which he shot down, saying:

I was always a fan of this couple, so I’m pretty excited to see this Malika-facilitated reunion. I can’t imagine, however, that Tristan Thompson — the father of Khloé Kardashian’s two children — feels very good about it. Thompson had some choice words for Khloé’s ex-husband a few years ago after Lamar Odom left a flirty comment on one of her bikini pics, and Odom was similarly unimpressed with Thompson after it was learned that he had fathered a child with another woman behind Khloé’s back. It looks like it’s going to be a pretty emotional episode, and while Kim Kardashian looks excited about the news regarding her ex-brother-in-law, Kris Jenner appears to be absolutely crushed by the memories of what her daughter went through. Pop music fandoms around the world were shocked to hear about the unexpected death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, whose fall from a Bueno Aires hotel’s third-story balcony took his life on Wednesday, October 16. Since then, all manner of sympathetic posts and statements have surfaced, from Simon Cowell getting emotional to Payne’s 1D mates sharing a mournful message to fellow pop star Shawn Mendes’ concert-stopping tribute and beyond. All while questions remain surrounding the specifics of his death.

In particular, much attention has been given to the amount of illicit substances that were allegedly found both in his hotel room and in his bloodstream, with the slang term “pink cocaine” being used to describe the specific mixture that could have pushed him over the edge, in both a metaphorical and literal sense. Here’s the latest on the investigation, as well as former NBA baller Lamar Odom speaking anecdotally about the dangers of “pink cocaine” compared to other drugs.

What Is Pink Cocaine, And Why Are Argentinian Police Investigating The Hotel Itself?

Despite the Schedule II narcotic in its name, pink cocaine isn’t actually reliant on the powdered stimulant itself. Rather, the term is applied to the combination of methamphetamine, ketamine, and ecstasy, and it’s indeed this mixture (possibly with other intoxicants in the mix) that is believed to have played a role in Liam Payne’s death. Cocaine itself is also said to have been found by police in the hotel bedroom, as well as crack.

According to TMZ, law enforcement officers are looking into one specific employee from the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, as they suspect he supplied Payne with anti-anxiety medication that was also found in the room. Beyond that, authorities are also looking into the notion of whether or not that same employee was the one responsible for either giving other drugs to the singer, or for selling them.

At the time of writing, no arrests or official statements have been made on that specific matter, and the investigation is ongoing.

Lamar Odom Weighs In On Dangers Of Heavy Drug Use

Former NBA star Lamar Odom has been as public and forthcoming as any celebrity about his past issues with drug addictions, in part because of how publicized his close calls were, from a multi-day cocaine binge that left him in a coma in 2015 to drunkenly collapsing at a nightclub in 2017 to other incidents. Since then, the athlete has reportedly warded off the heavy drug use, and has credited marijuana with balancing his high anxiety.

As someone with the suspected experience of pink cocaine use, Odom was stopped by TMZ to get his take on how the substance abuse may have led to Liam Payne's tragic fall, which is also being investigated as a potential suicide. When asked if he's imbibed on pink cocaine before, Odom answered and brought up hallucinations as a potential factor, saying:

Lamar Odom confirmed that hearing voices in the midst of a high can cause heavy paranoia, and said this when asked if he thought such drug-fueled voices could be directly responsible for his death. In his words:

Obviously it's impossible to know exactly what was going through the pop star's brain in the minutes and moments before he fell to his death, but there is at least the possibility that the combination of substances in his system caused visual and/or aural hallucinations that may have influenced his behavior that fateful day.

As of late, Lamar Odom continues to embrace living healthier and happier in ways that don't involve illegal narcotics. And he shared that he'll be praying for Liam Payne's family during their time of mourning.

After Keeping Up with the Kardashians ended with 20 seasons on E!, the famous family eventually made the move to the streaming realm with The Kardashians. Not every cast member made the jump to the new show, however, with Caitlyn Jenner and Lamar Odom among those not to return. Since then, the two former athletes have been on different paths and have engaged in a number of ventures. Now, in a surprising turn of events, Odom and Jenner are reuniting for a brand-new project. And it even nods at their tenures on KUWTK.

The former in-laws are reportedly joining forces to produce a podcast that revolves around athletics. Per TMZ, the show will examine what goes into being the best at a sport and, in doing so, it’ll offer a unique perspective on the matter. The two will also be joined in this venture by their co-host, Zach Hirsch. What may really grab prospective listeners’ attention, though, is the name that the group has chosen. The podcast is called Keeping Up with Sports, which is, of course, a play on the reality TV show the lead hosts appeared on for years. 

I’m honestly not sure that I had this on my bingo card for 2024. Nevertheless, it’s relatively on-brand for the two stars. As previously mentioned, they’re both noted athletes in their own rights. Caitlyn Jenner – who was once Lamar Odom’s stepfather-in-law when he was married to Khloé Kardashian – competed in decathlons and won a gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games. Odom is a veteran NBA small forward, who most notably played seven seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and won two championships with the franchise. So, on paper, these two seem like a solid fit for such a project, no matter how random it might appear at first glance. 

Caitlyn Jenner was married to Kris Jenner for 24 years, before they divorced in 2015, and was a main cast member on KUWTK for its first 13 seasons. Lamar Odom married Khloé Kardashian in 2009 and, during their marriage, he appeared on the family’s flagship series and the spinoff, Khloé & Lamar. Odom experienced a number of health and legal issues during the marriage and at one point even fell into a coma due to drug use. After his recovery, the couple divorced in 2016. 

Although sports talk will surely make up the bulk of the conversations on the upcoming show, some may wonder if details from the hosts’ personal lives might crop up. It’s certainly possible that details from their lives with the Kardashian-Jenner family could be mentioned here and there. However, I’d be very surprised if that became a crux of the program. In all honesty, as a sports fan, I’m more curious about what they have to say about their careers and those of others. 

It looks like they’re set to start the show on a deep note as well, as the first guest has already been revealed. They welcomed boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard for their inaugural installment and, as seen in a preview clip, Leonard got candid about experiencing sexual abuse. Fellow boxer Zab Judah, Jackass alum Steve-O and even Amber Rose are among the others that’ll be stopping by the program, which is set to debut in a few weeks. 

Keeping Up with Sports could indeed prove to be interesting, and I remain curious about what Caitlyn Jenner, Lamar Odom and co. have in store. I’m sure that, at the very least, reality TV fans might also listen in, if only to get a small nugget or two on the Kardashian clan.

It's hard to believe Entourage ended its eight-season run so long ago, in 2011 (not counting the less-than-well-recieved movie in 2015). For the length of the show, one thing that kept audiences coming back for more each week was the great celebrity cameos. What started as a trickle in the first season, became a flood towards the end, with big stars always showing up, usually with hilarious results. Here is our list of some of the funniest celebrity cameos on Entourage. 

Mark Wahlberg

It makes sense that Mark Wahlberg would be the first cameo on the show, appearing in the very first episode of Season 1. Entourage was (very) loosely based on his experiences in Hollywood as a young actor, and the Boogie Nights star was a producer of the show. 

David Schwimmer

A great thing about the cameos was that often the celebrities weren't afraid to poke a little fun at themselves. Take, for example, David Schwimmer's spot in the Season 6 episode "Running on E." Schwimmer sits in a pitch meeting with super agent Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) team and offer after offer is for the Friends star to play some sort of neurotic character for comedic effect. The frustration for Schwimmer is palpable. 

Peter Dinklage

One of the most common tropes on the show was the stars taking potshots at Ari. Ari was a character we all loved to hate, but it turns out most of the celebrities playing themselves also hated Ari. Peter Dinklage is one of those when he trades barbs with Ari at a party in the Season 2 "Sundance Kids."

John Stamos

John Stamos was the perfect type of celeb to show on Entourage. It was always fun to see how a cameo appearance might just be an opportunity to take down lovable loser Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon). In a bit of a twist, after getting insulted by Stamos a few times, the two play an epic match of ping pong that ends predicably for Drama in the Season 7 episode "Tequila Sunrise." 

Jeffrey Tambor

Jeffrey Tambor plays a jerk like few others can in Hollywood. When he's playing a fictionalized version of himself being to jerk to his kids, it's comedy gold. Fictional life as a jerk and real life have blurred together for Tambor, but his appearance in Season 6 is still really funny. 

Matt Damon

Matt Damon takes charity very seriously, so his cameo on Entourage, in the Season 6 finale, fits perfectly. It's also a rare time that Vince (Adrian Grenier) is the one getting clowned when he tries to dodge both Damon and Bono into giving money to their charity to help children.  

Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer's guest spot on the show is a little different than most on this list. He doesn't play himself, but the role is so brief – and so funny – that it had to be included. In Season 1, the Top Gun: Maverick star plays a "sherpa" living in a giant house in Beverly Hills like a '60s hippie. 

Snoop Dogg

No one brings joy like Snoop Dogg. There is never a time when people are unhappy to see the legendary rapper show up somewhere on TV and Entourage is no exception. The brief interaction between Snoop, Vince, and Eric (Kevin Connolly), partly highlights the confusion of how to pronounce "Cannes" in the Season 4 episode "The Dream Team."

James Cameron

The Season 2 episode "Sundance Kids" really kicked the cameos on the show into overdrive and one of the best of the whole series is James Cameron. Vince is trying to land a role in his Aquaman movie, so Turtle and Drama try to help (and fail). The best part, though, is Cameron's interaction with a barista (played by This Is Us star Chrissy Metz). 

Tom Brady

Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) is a die-hard New York Giants fan, so when he meets Tom Brady at a charity golf tournament, he does what any self-respecting fan would do, he blows him off and refuses to shake his hand. It's brilliant. 

Martin Scorsese

Entourage proved just how big it was for celeb cameos when none other than Martin Scorsese appeared for a brief scene to offer Vince a role in his fictional The Great Gatsby movie in the finale of Season 5. You know you've made it when Scorsese gets involved. 

Scarlett Johansson

Season 1 ends with a big-time star appearance when the one and only Scarlett Johansson cameos on the phone with Vince, after Eric promises him to land a date with the superstar actress. It works, though it's the last time we'd see Johansson on the show. 

Stan Lee

Comic legend Stan Lee became the king of cameos with his iconic moments in the MCU universe for years, a streak that ended with his death in 2018. It's all too appropriate that we include him on this list, not only due to Lee's status as a cameo-king but because his quick role is just so funny as he can't quite place where he's seen Vince's adult film star girlfriend, Sasha Grey, before.

Lamar Odom

Entourage was replete with professional athletes throughout its run. Lamar Odom shows up pretty early in the show's run, in "An Offer Refused" in Season 2. The cameo is notable because of the way Drama gets obsessed with how men's calves look, including Odom's, which understandably freaks the NBA star out. 

Bono

Bono's appearance in the Season 6 finale is brilliant. He only appears via computer screen, as he's on a video call with Matt Damon and teams up with Damon to gang up on Vince to guilt him into getting on board with their charity. It's vintage Bono, pushing a charity but not taking himself as seriously as the world perceives him to be. 

Bobby Flay

Ari being a jerk to someone isn't a surprise, but Ari being a jerk to Bobby Flay is, pardon the pun, pure gold. Flay is great playing himself as the chef at his own restaurant, one of Ari's favorites, but the two bicker before Flay has had enough in the Season 8 episode "Whiz Kid." 

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara's cameo is notable because she's not playing herself. While she herself is perfect for the role as a Colombian actress auditioning for the movie Medellin, it's funny because of how ridiculous the rest of Vince's team reacts to her. The first episode of Season 2 is one of the most unique, and funniest, of the show's run. 

M. Night Shyamalan

M. Night Shyamalan's appearance in the episode "Sorry, Harvey" in Season 4 is classic Entourage. Playing himself, he's angry at Ari for not reading his latest script and confronts the super agent to call him on it. It's the kind of cameo we've come to expect from this show, a major star fighting with Ari. 

Christina Aguilera

The Season 7 finale, "Lose Yourself" is one of the saddest of the show, for a few reasons. One is Ari throwing a lavish party for his wife to keep her from leaving him complete with Christina Aguilera singing "You Are Beautiful," only to have his wife not show.  Aguilera gets mad at Ari (naturally) and demands his Lakers playoffs tickets to keep performing. 

Adrian Peterson

NFL superstar Adrian Peterson selling a dinosaur skull. Is there anything more that needs to be said? The Season 7 episode "Tequila and Coke" has a great moment poking fun at people investing in fossils, and yes, Nic Cage gets a shout-out. 

Zac Efron

It's no surprise that Ari would be trying to steal a client from another agent, but what makes Zac Efron's cameo on Entourage so funny is his interaction with a fan while on the phone with Ari. A mom using her daughter to get Efron's autograph (and pushing for, um, more) is hilarious. 

Kanye West

Vince and his crew have no problem asking anyone for a favor. Kanye West is the victim of one of the most outlandish requests when they beg him for a ride on his private plane to France, even though Ye is headed for London in "No Cannes Do" from Season 4. The rapper is stunned and doesn't hide it, but still, who can turn down Vince? No one, not even Ye.

David Spade

David Spade is the perfect star for a cameo on Entourage. In his, he's got women on both arms and plays a total jerk. While he's surely not a jerk, he somehow has that public perception, which is what makes the cameo so much fun in the Season 8 episode titled "The Big Bang." Spade is just hilarious. 

Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson is clearly a good sport. Despite the show taking a shot at the pro golfer's failure at the 2006 U.S. Open, he later agreed to appear on the show, if only to show up Ari. A chance meeting on the golf course between Mickelson, and Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara, led to the role. Kizmet. 

50 Cent

50 Cent makes one of the briefest cameos on the show, but it's one of the best. When he sees Turtle driving, he pulls up alongside and manages to take Turtle down a notch, despite the fancy ride he's driving in. Turtle has a rough time in his birthday episode, "One Car, Two Car, Red Car, Blue Car," from Season 6.

Aaron Sorkin

Aaron Sorkin's first cameo (he made two) on Entourage came in an episode named after him, "The Sorkin Notes" in Season 6. Sorkin is caught up in some drama in Ari's office that he wants no part of and is hilarious in a rare acting role for the writer and director. Now can we get that West Wing revival starring Sterling K. Brown that Sorkin had an idea for, please?

Dean Cain

Another very brief cameo comes from Dean Cain. The former Superman actor disrupts one of Drama's auditions, which crushes Drama, as he figures there's no one he can compete with Cain for the part. It's vintage Johnny Drama in the Season 6 episode "Scared Straight." It's another moment in which you can't help but feel terrible for Drama. 

Eminem

The Season 7 finale, "Lose Yourself," not only foreshadows Vince's downward spiral, but Eminem's cameo. In one of the lowest moments of Vince's life, he first insults Minka Kelly, then gets into a fistfight with Eminem. It's as sad as it is funny, a line the show walked brilliantly in the episode. 

Alex Rodriguez

How tragic would be to hear that you lost out on a ton of money from former Yankee Alex Rodriguez? That's what happens to Turtle when the shortstop-turned-third-baseman shows up on screen to tell Turtle that the tequila company he once owned a lot of stock in went public after he sold out. Ouch. 

Steve Nash

Poor Steve Nash. The NBA star was at the height of his fame when he was unwittingly cornered by Eric at his manager's office (Scott Caan). Eric dumps all of his girlfriend problems on the Canadian basketball player's feet in the Season 6 episode "Murphy's Lie," and all Nash can do is look stunned. 

Johnny Galecki

Johnny Galecki's role in Entourage was a little more than one cameo, it was more like three cameos over three episodes and he plays a fictionalized version of himself who makes Eric's life hell by dating Eric's ex-girlfriend Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui). This version of Galecki is terrible but completely hilarious. 

Jessica Simpson

As Ari tries to protect his client base, he's forced to go hat in hand to a client who's mad at him for not caring when her dog died. Jessica Simpson meets Ari at the door in "Bottoms Up" from Season 7, and in classic Entourage fashion, makes Ari look like the jerk that he is, despite his insincere attempt to gift another dog to Simpson. It sums up everything a great Entourage cameo should be. A big star, an unrepentant Ari, and some choice lines. 

This is a list that could be almost endless, and we didn't even get into the multiple cameos in the Entourage movie, one of which featured Channing Tatum that didn't actually happen. 

NeNe Leakes’ son, Bryson Bryant, was recently released from jail after he was caught with Fentanyl. Now, Lamar Odom is trying to help his friend out by reportedly offering her son treatment at one of his rehab centers, similar to how he offered a bed at his facilities to Bam Margera a few months ago.

The former NBA star launched Odom Recovery Group earlier in 2023, and it partnered with Vanity Wellness Center in Woodland Hills. According to Radar Online, he is friends with Leakes and he offered her son treatment at his facility. 

Lamar Odom is close friends with NeNe Leakes, and they starred in the BET reality show College Hill together in 2022. According to the article, the former basketball player hasn’t heard back from Leakes or her son, but he reportedly believes that his rehab center in California could benefit Bryson Bryant. 

Why Bryson Bryant Was Arrested 

Back in July, Bryson Bryant was taken into custody for drug possession, and on October 5 he was released from jail after posting a $6 thousand bond. He was arrested for possession of fentanyl and a misdemeanor for loitering and/or prowling. A few days after that he was also charged with “giving a false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer,” because he told officers that he was his younger brother Brentt during processing. 

Leakes’ son was sentenced to jail time because his “arrest triggered a probation violation in a separate criminal case,” per the article. Following his arrest, his mom explained that she felt “numb” about the situation. She also spoke out about Bryson’s struggle with addiction, saying:

Now, Odom has reportedly tried to help his friend's kid out by offering him a place at his rehab center. This isn’t the first time he has done something like this either, as he tried to help Bam Margera out in a similar way earlier this year. 

Lamar Odom Also Offered Bam Margera A Place At One Of His Rehab Facilities

Following Bam Margera’s arrest in April, Odom offered him a bed at his rehab center. It was reported that the basketball player understands what it’s like to struggle as a public figure and deal with addiction. After the Jackass cast member fled into the woods to avoid the cops, and turned himself in, the former Laker said “if he wants the help then I’m here for him.”

After that, it was reported that Odom visited Margera at the hospital, and in response to the rehabilitation offer, the Jackass star allegedly seemed keen on taking him up on it. It was also reported that he really wanted to get clean so he could be with his son. However, it was later explained that the skater-turned-reality star left rehab early to go to Las Vegas. 

Following the news that Bam Margera had left rehab, Odom commented on the situation, saying: 

Since then, Margera has said that rehab didn’t work for him, and he explained that he had been sober for over a month after meeting the “most phenomenal girl ever,” who gave him an ultimatum that if he didn’t stay sober, she’d leave. 

It would appear that Lamar Odom is trying to help out NeNe Leaks’ son in the same way he tried to assist Bam Margera. As this situation develops, we’ll be sure to keep you posted. 

The ongoing relationship between former NBA star Lamar Odom and Jackass standout Bam Margera has taken a dark turn. Margera has made numerous headlines lately duke to his personal issues, from his ex cutting off contact with their son after a screaming incident went viral to Margera being placed on psychiatric hold. Along the way, Odom reached out to Margera and offered him help, specifically in the form of a spot at one of his rehab centers. And Margera took him up on the offer… only now, it appears that Margera has left the facility, and Odom is concerned. 

Lamar Odom has spoken out to TMZ about Bam Margera’s situation, especially after the Jackass star turned himself over to authorities. Odom immediately wondered if Margera had God in his life, though the TMZ reporter didn’t have an answer to that question. In that earlier video, Odom said the facility is waiting for Bam, just so long as he shows up. But now there has been a report that Margera left the San Diego rehab facility early, and Odom is expressing concerns over the people who are influencing the Jackass star. 

Odom told TMZ:

News came out that after Bam Margera left Lamar Odom’s treatment facility in San Diego, he headed to Las Vegas, thereby sparking a number of Odom’s concerns. This is not the first time that Margera has checked into a rehabilitation facility to seek treatment, only to quickly depart. In 2022, Margera went missing after leaving a rehab center in Florida. He eventually was found and returned to the rehab center, only to leave the facility again. 

In the TMZ article, Lamar Odom goes on to recommend a method that Margera’s loved ones can possibly use to lure the former skater back, and that’s his son, Phoenix. While this isn’t the safest method, as Margera has stated that he’d be willing to smoke crack until his son wa returned to him. All of this comes on the heels of Margera being arrested for domestic violence accusations, getting himself a face tattoo, and constantly feuding with Jackass lead Johnny Knoxville. 

If Bam Margera follows his most recent patterns, he will return from Las Vegas and return, as well, to Lamar Odom, who has made it clear he is willing to help Margera, so long as the former skater wants to be helped. According to the TMZ article, which remains open-ended, Odom has said that he will start the process of reaching out to Margera and helping to find him. The NBA star and former husband to Khloe Kardashian says that he personally understands the struggle to stay sober.

The Viva La Bam alum has reportedly left detox early and is set to embark on a weekend getaway in Sin City, according to sources close to the situation. The skater-turned-reality star had been undergoing detox in San Diego after former NBA player Lamar Odom invited him to get treat at the location, which he owns. But, according to an unnamed source, he decided not to complete the program and left on Monday. 

According to TMZ, despite Lamar Odom's best efforts to convince him to return and finish treatment at his personal Wellness Treatment Centers, Bam Margera agreed to stay at the athlete's home in Calabasas for the week. The source told the outlet that the 43-year-old star left Thursday and allegedly told friends he was planning a weekend trip to Las Vegas.

Following his departure from the former Los Angeles Laker's residence, the CKY star was spotted dining at the renowned Nobu in Malibu on Thursday, accompanied by a friend. Though at this point, it's unclear who'll be joining him on his reported Vegas excursion. This sudden change in direction is a surprise, considering the 43-year-old celeb had initiated the detox process on June 7 after being placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold by the authorities. 

The hold came shortly after the star went missing and was featured video rant, in which he threatened to indulge in drug use until his demise or until he saw his son, Phoenix, alleging that his ex had cut off contact. The MTV alum has consistently cited his son as the primary motivation for his sobriety journey, and his estranged wife, Nikki Boyd, recently allowed them to reconnect through FaceTime calls. Nevertheless, it appears that he's set on making the trip to Las Vegas.

The decision to depart rehab early may raises concerns among fans and friends who have been rooting for the stuntman’s recovery. Lamar Odom has battled his own struggles, emerged on the other side, and has been a supportive figure throughout the Grind actor’s journey. While the two-time NBA champion had reportedly hoped Bam Margera would stay committed to his treatment, he apparently remains hopeful that his friend will eventually prioritize his well-being.

This isn’t the first instance of the Jackass veteran leaving treatment. Last year, he made headlines when he went missing after leaving a wellness facility in Florida. He was eventually found and returned to rehab, but unfortunately, he disappeared again less than two weeks later, only to be brought back to the treatment center once more.

As Bam Margera potentially heads to Las Vegas for the weekend, his family, friends and fans can only hope that this diversion doesn’t hinder his progress and that he ultimately returns to Lamar Odom’s treatment facility. Sin City's reputation for indulgence and temptation admittedly pose a significant test for someone on the path to recovery. Only time will reveal whether his decision to forsake detox early is a temporary setback or a turning point in his ongoing battle against addiction.

After he was reported missing and his brother asked the public to help find him, Bam Margera was located earlier this week. The Jackass alum was reportedly located in Los Angeles, where he allegedly acted erratically when they took him in. Margera was ultimately placed on a psychiatric hold due to his actions. Shortly after, his brother, Jess said he could be sent to one of the multiple rehabilitation centers belonging to former NBA player Lamar Odom. Sources now say that Odom has since reached out to the embattled star to extend an invitation, and they also provided details on how Margera apparently reacted. 

Lamar Odom previously reached out to the MTV alum back in April following one of the latter’s more recent arrests. The two-time NBA champion, at the time, stated that “if his problem is alcohol and drugs,” he’d have no problem offering the stuntman a bed. Bam Margera eventually responded to Odom, saying that he wanted help. Though the back-and-forth seemingly didn’t go any further than that at the time. 

Following the Viva La Bam star’s latest unfortunate incident, the sports veteran seems even more keen on providing assistance. The Khloé & Lamar star, who’s had his experiences with addiction, went to see the famed skateboarder while he was in the hospital, per insiders for TMZ. He apparently paid the visit this past Tuesday to extend the same offer. The news outlet claims that the troubled media personality seemed keen on accepting the proposition, and the two men apparently embraced for a hug. What’s more, this time around, he apparently mentioned that he really wants to get clean so that he can see his son, Phoenix. 

Bam Margera is currently in the middle of a contentious divorce from his ex, Nikki Boyd. Amid the proceedings, Margera has said his former partner won’t let him see his son, which is one reason why he allegedly wants the divorce thrown out. Boyd purportedly cut off his contact with Phoenix after a screaming incident involving the star went viral. On top of all that, Boyd is suing Margera for child support and is reportedly seeking a sum of $15k per month. 

One would think that a rehabilitation center would be the best course of action for the celebrity, with his current situation in mind. However, during the past year or so, he’s served other stints in facilities that haven’t been too successful. He most notably went missing around this time last year after exiting a wellness location in Florida and was found and taken back to rehab shortly after. Unfortunately, he went missing again less than two weeks later only to be returned to his place of residence yet again. 

Despite his issues, a number of people have been reaching out to provide assistance, aside from Lamar Odom. Some of his former Jackass cohorts, particularly Steve-O, have attempted to reach out, though their efforts have apparently been unsuccessful. Members of the Margera family have also shared thoughts during this time. In addition to Jess, his and Bam’s mom, April, reached out while he was missing early this year, saying that she loves her son and only wants to help him. 

It now seems that Bam Margera has a prime opportunity to help himself, thanks to the kindness of Lamar Odom. You can only hope that this might mark a turning point for the once fan-favorite star. We wish him the best as he continues to make his way towards a potential recovery.

In regard to the former, the star had been sharing concerning social media posts, while his family was simultaneously unable to locate him. Margera’s brother, Jess, eventually reached out to fans to ask for their help finding him and, earlier this week, authorities caught up with him in Los Angeles. As it stands, Bam is under a psychiatric hold due to exhibiting erratic behavior, which allegedly included suicide threats. Now, Jess has provided an update on what might lie ahead for the reality TV veteran when he’s no longer 5150’d. 

Sources have said that the 43-year-old father of one is currently staying in a rehabilitation facility, though it’s unclear if he’s actually receiving treatment at this time. He could receive assistance soon, however, based on the comments that Jess Margera shared with Page Six. The CKY drummer explained that his younger sibling might be moving to another rehab facility, and it just happens to be run by a certain former athlete: 

Lamar Odom recently invested in three rehab centers located in Lemon Grove, El Cajon and San Diego. This is an investment that apparently means a lot to the former basketball player, as he himself has battled addiction. In 2013, he was arrested for driving while under the influence and, in 2015, the two-time NBA champion nearly died from a drug overdose. So having now moved past his hang-ups, Odom seems set on giving back and helping others who are in the position he was once in. 

This marks the second time that Bam Margera has been mentioned in the same breath as the Los Angeles Lakers veteran. Margera was offered a bed at his new facility, with the former husband of Khloé Kardashian saying that he would “reach out [his] hand” to the stuntman at this time. Margera reached back out to him and said that he does want “help,” though he didn’t admit himself to the center after that. 

The star has had various stints in rehab over the past few years and, in some cases, he even departed the locations of his own accord and was dubbed missing. Just about every time that happened, he was eventually found and returned to said facility. It can’t be said for sure if he'll indeed take up residence at one of Lamar Odom’s wellness centers. However, there may not be too many options on the table, as Jess Margera says his brother doesn’t want to go to the Betty Ford clinic because staffers allegedly “yelled at him for smoking.”

Bam Margera’s family and friends have shown a considerable amount of concern for him during this time. His mother, April, spoke out while he was missing and stated that his loved ones wanted to help him and not hurt him. Jess has also been candid about his brother’s alleged meth addiction, which has apparently left him “unrecognizable” and unpredictable. 

It’s honestly hard to see the famed media personality go through so much. And regardless of whether he ends up at one of Lamar Odom’s facilities or another, let’s just hope that he’s able to receive the help he truly needs.

Of course, Lamar Odom knows what it's like to face your demons as a public figure. On top of being an NBA alum, Odom's relationship with Khloe Kardashian put countless eyes on him. Perhaps it's for this reason that he offered to help out Margera, saying:

He eventually turned himself in, but it looks like there's a ton of interpersonal strife within the family that fans got to know during Viva La Bam.

Part of the reason why there was so much concern over Bam was presumably because of the various controversies he'd had recently. That includes another time Margera was missing after escaping rehab. And since he's also had health struggles and was even pronounced dead last year, the generations of Jackass fans got worried.

On top of his issues with his blood relatives, Margera has also had feuds with his Jackass co-stars. On top of the legal battle that surrounded him being dropped from Jackass Forever, Bam challenged Johnny Knoxville to a fight.

But he’s since tried to make change through the use of his rehabilitation centers, telling TMZ that Margera is welcome to a free stay if he needs the help. As he put it,

While Odom doesn’t have a relationship with Margera, the pair of public figures do have some similarities in their stories. And it seems like the NBA alum would be happy to help out Bam in one of his rehabs if he wanted the assistance. Of course, the most important part of any addict’s recovery is actually wanting to make the change.

Lamar Odom’s comments to TMZ might be a comfort to Jackass fans who remain concerned about Bam Margera in the midst of his current struggles. The skateboarder/TV personality has already been in a number of rehabs over the years. Reality star Khloé Kardashian made an appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s talk show this week, and after everything she and the singer have been through with their exes, you better believe they had some stuff to talk about. Clarkson finalized her divorce from Brandon Blackstock earlier this year, as Kardashian broke up with Tristan Thompson in late 2021 after learning he’d fathered a child with another woman. The two women bonded over their experiences, as Clarkson adorably sought advice on how to “un-love” somebody.

Kelly Clarkson welcomed the new mom of two onto The Kelly Clarkson Show on October 27, where she asked Khloé Kardashian about comments she’d made on her family’s Hulu reality show about getting over Tristan Thompson after his latest cheating scandal. The host joked that she was asking for a friend and hilariously requested a pen and paper to take notes, before commenting: 

Khloé Kardashian definitely seemed to empathize with Kelly Clarkson, and responded that she even still loves her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, despite what he put her through with his own infidelity and substance abuse issues. She told the singer:

The American Idol champion filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock in 2020 after seven years of marriage. Their divorce was filled with contention, with both sides filing lawsuits against each other, and the former couple battling over everything from custody to property. Drama over Clarkson’s ranch in Montana continued for months after the divorce settlement was reached.

Khloé Kardashian, meanwhile, learned that Maralee Nichols was pregnant with Tristan Thompson’s son just days after they’d conceived their own child via surrogate. It's for those reasons that I asked Odom why he talked about his ex so much during Celebrity Big Brother. After sharing the obvious contributing factor, he revealed another deeply personal reason for why he still speaks so highly of his ex:

Khloé Kardashian helped tend to the former Los Angeles Laker after he suffered multiple strokes and heart attacks. And at that point, the starlet had already file for divorce from him the year prior to his incident. Previously, Odom has also credited Kardashian for helping him regain his memory after he awoke from his coma.

During Celebrity Big Brother, the former Sixth Man of the Year mentioned (on several occasions) how special his marriage was to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum, and houseguests even suggested he talked about her like they were soulmates. The athlete mentioned in our interview, however, that he has realistic expectations and doesn’t think he just doesn't think he and his former wife are just fated to be together again:

Perhaps Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom can be friends again, maybe even a couple. After all, other celebrity couples have reunited after years apart, so who’s to say who will and won’t fall in love again? Nevertheless, it's probably safe to assume that Odom won't be joining Kardashian on her family's upcoming Hulu show anytime soon.

Following reports that Shanna Moakler’s boyfriend Matthew Rondeau wasn’t happy about his girlfriend’s friendship with Lamar Odom on Celebrity Big Brother, Rondeau posted an alarming rant from Moakler’s phone on February 24, the day after CBB's Season 3 finale. In the vid, he's seen angrily saying he was “done” while making accusations about Moakler while recording in front of a house where he says she spent the night.

Matthew Rondeau’s expletive-laced rant — which he made on Shanna Moakler's  Instagram Live after seemingly taking Shanna Moakler's phone without permission — follows reports that he was upset by Moakler’s supposed flirtations with Lamar Odom that Rondeau would have viewed on CBS' Celebrity Big Brother and the show’s live feeds on Paramount+. Despite Moakler telling CinemaBlend that she and Rondeau were “in a good place,” after the show, Rondeau accused Moakler in the video of not being over her exes — including Kourtney Kardashian’s fiancé Travis Barker — and other infidelities. The troubling video, captured for posterity on Twitter, showed Rondeau using extreme language in reference to his on-off girlfriend. Here's a very NSFW excerpt:

Following Matthew Rondeau's Instagram Live video, the 29-year-old was arrested for felony domestic violence, US Weekly reported. His bail was set at $50,000. Police had reportedly been called to Shanna Moakler's house over a "dispute."  

Matthew Rondeau purported in his rant that he was not drunk or high, but rather that he was heartbroken about Shanna Moakler’s alleged cheating. 

Shanna Moakler and Matthew Rondeau started dating in 2020, and have been off and on for the past couple of years. After breaking up in May 2021, the couple reunited around the time that Moakler’s ex-husband Travis Barker proposed to girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian. Moakler and Barker share two children —  son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16. Moakler had a shared interest in the Kardashians with fellow Celebrity Big Brother houseguest Lamar Odom, who was previously married to Khloé Kardashian. 

As it's implied in the video Rondeau recorded below, he was not too happy about Moakler having any interest in Odom or any other men she may have been hanging out with.

Matthew Rondeau’s expletive-filled rant was more than a little alarming, and we hope that Shanna Moakler, her children, and everyone else involved are safe and remain that way through this scary situation.

Celebrity Big Brother Season 3 is delivering drama that few might’ve expected, and it’s reportedly expanding beyond the house. Shortly after fans got more details about the drama that occurred between Mirai Nagasu and Chris Kirkpatrick before the live feeds turned on, it's been reported that Shanna Moakler’s boyfriend is allegedly very unhappy about her friendship with former NBA star Lamar Odom.

Shanna Moakler’s boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, is allegedly upset after watching her interact with Lamar Odom on Celebrity Big Brother episodes and live feeds. TMZ reports that Rondeau overheard Moakler making innuendo remarks, in addition to comments she usually only makes around him. He apparently believes the show's producers could be egging on the supposedly flirtatious conversations between the two but is said to be reconsidering proposing to her regardless. 

While this is going on, former Celebrity Big Brother houseguest and reality television star Teddi Mellencamp (who isn’t afraid to share her opinions) spoke out publicly about Matthew Rondeau and his famous girlfriend. On her podcast, Two T’s In A Pod, Mellencamp revealed that Rondeau spoke to her, though not in a way one might expect:

Teddi Mellencamp then went on to say the two shared an exchange in which Matthew Rondeau allegedly said some negative things about Shanna Moakler. Mellencamp brought up one alleged instance, in which she referred to a hat she loaned Moakler before leaving Celebrity Big Brother and said Rondeau replied she’d never get the headwear back. Mellencamp closed the conversation by saying she had “additional concerns” for her co-star, which leaves things somewhat unclear. 

Lamar Odom is a big subject of Celebrity Big Brother thus far, mainly because of the comments he’s made about his ex Khloé Kardashian and his willingness to say just about anything. It’s unclear whether he or Shanna Moakler know anything about what’s being said about their friendship outside the house, though it's worth noting there hasn’t been a ton of speculation from the fandom on whether anything is happening between the two. Relationship troubles are nothing new for the franchise, unfortunately, as houseguests have lost significant others after romances that occurred in the house. 

If Lamar Odom and Shanna Moakler do share common ground, it’s mostly due to their ties to the Kardashian family. As previously mentioned, Odom was married to Khloé Kardashian, and Shanna Moakler is the ex-wife of Kourtney Kardashian’s current fiancé, (and frequent PDA partner) Travis Barker. And the show has definitely played on this link. In a recent episode in  Odom and Moakler were asked, by Julie Chen Moonves, to guess the name of Kylie Jenner’s new baby. Perhaps a question about the nature of their friendship will come during the next live episode?

The two-time NBA champion always seems to sound so painfully full of regret when he talks about Khloé Kardashian. Personally, I'm still heartbroken after all these years about how their relationship went down. After telling Todrick Hall that he dreamed about his ex-wife, the basketball vet confirmed he had only been married one time, saying the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was “the one and the only.” Hall questioned if his housemate ever still talked to his ex, and the former player said no:

Lamar Odom has consistently expressed guilt over the way he treated Khloé Kardashian when they were together and, even though the former couple hasn’t stayed in touch, Odom has publicly supported her through her more recent troubles with Tristan Thompson. The fact that he’s already being shown talking about Kardashian before Celebrity Big Brother even premieres just further shows how special that relationship was to him.  

Khloé Kardashian filed for divorce from him in 2013 but put the proceedings on hold in 2015 after the ex Dallas Maverick overdosed on cocaine and other substances and was in a coma for four days. Kardashian made medical decisions for him and supported him in his recovery, but she ultimately went through with the divorce in 2016. 

Just a week ahead of Celebrity Big Brother’s Season 3 premiere, CBS released its list of "more mature" houseguests, which consists of a sure-to-be-entertaining group of athletes, actors and reality TV stars, including N’Sync’s Chris Kirkpatrick, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Teddi Mellencamp, former UFC champ Miesha Tate, actor Todd Bridges and more. 

One houseguest who might be noteworthy to Lamar Odom is Shanna Moakler, the ex-wife of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. Barker recently got engaged to Khloé Kardashian’s sister, Kourtney, and I can imagine those two might have some stories to swap regarding the famous family. It should be noted however, that Odom, has been much kinder to the Kardashians than Moakler, who has been known to throw shade at her ex-husband and his fiancée. Thankfully, fans won't have to wait much longer to see how Odom gets along with Moakler and the rest of his housemates.

Celebrity Big Brother is back in the United States for Season 3. Fans have speculated for weeks who may or may not be on the cast, and thanks to some unreliable leaks, might be misinformed on who is actually appearing this season. Thankfully the confusion didn’t last for long, as CBS revealed the full lineup of stars for the shortened version of its popular game show. 

As expected, the lineup for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother features a healthy mixture of sports icons, reality television stars, and folks related to other celebrities. Let’s run down the entire list of Houseguests for this season, what they’re known for, and why audiences might be excited to see them in the Big Brother house.

Lamar Odom

Lamar Odom is a retired NBA star and two-time champion most commonly associated with the L.A. Lakers. Reality show fans might better know him as the ex-husband of Khloé Kardashian. Odom was hospitalized in 2015 after being found unconscious in a legal brothel and was later discovered to have experienced several heart attacks and strokes. Odom recovered and recently knocked out former pop singer Aaron Carter in a celebrity boxing match. Suffice to say, he might have a story or two to share. 

Todrick Hall

Todrick Hall went from American Idol alumni to YouTube singing sensation, and his dance choreography earned him jobs working for Disney. Big Brother fans might remember he’s also a superfan of the series and let a chunk of the Season 23 cast live in his house for about a month after the game. Folks will be excited to see how Hall plays the game knowing his fandom and perhaps hear some details about his friendship with Taylor Swift.  

Cynthia Bailey

Cynthia Bailey has lived as a model and actress, though many might know her best as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her entry to the house at this point is surprising, considering her husband Mike Hill recently said on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast that he has doubts their marriage lasts another year. That’s a lot of stress to carry into Celebrity Big Brother, but perhaps Bailey isn’t as stressed about things as we may think.

Todd Bridges

Actor Todd Bridges has been around the television industry for a long time, dating as far back as 1975. His most recognizable role is Willis in Diff'rent Strokes though he’s done more recent shows like The Young and the Restless. I feel that actors have a big advantage in Celebrity Big Brother, so watch out for Todd. 

Miesha Tate

Former women’s UFC champion Miesha Tate might not have the belt at the moment, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less of a tough competitor. She’s remained in the Top 15 of the Bantamweight division for some time now, and is about as obvious of a “comp beast” in Celebrity Big Brother as I’ve ever seen.

Mirai Nagasu

Olympic figure skater Mirai Nagasu is more of a coach than competitor these days, but that doesn’t mean she’s to be taken lightly in Celebrity Big Brother. If there’s one thing I know about Olympians, it's that they’re competitive and willing to work to win. I expect big things from Nagasu, so hopefully she can deliver

Chris Kattan

There are few comedians as synonymous with Saturday Night Live in the '90s as Chris Kattan. Whether it’s his iconic characters like Mango, or his role as Doug in Night at the Roxbury sketches, Kattan kept audiences chuckling throughout his entire run on the show. I’m looking to him for some comedy relief when things get tense, and they almost always do in Big Brother. 

Teddi Mellencamp

Teddi Jo Mellencamp is the daughter of singer John Mellencamp, as well as a cast member on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Mellencamp’s arrival on the show wasn't necessarily guessed by the Big Brother online fandom, though many figured at least one or two members of the franchise would be along for the ride. Real Housewives stars are known for keeping it “real,” so Mellencamp has some pressure to live up to in her arrival. 

Chris Kirkpatrick

Chris Kirkpatrick might not be the first name people think of when they think of NSYNC, but without him, the band wouldn’t exist. Kirkpatrick founded one of the biggest boy bands in history, so I’m already assuming he’ll be a master at creating the ultimate alliance and win Celebrity Big Brother. 

Carson Kressley

While folks these days may associate the Queer Eye brand with the Fab Five on Netflix, it was the cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy that paved the way. Carson Kressley was the OG fashion guy, so having him on Celebrity Big Brother will be a treat, especially for those that enjoyed his judging stints on various cooking shows and competitions.  

Shanna Moakler

Former beauty pageant star, model, and actress Shanna Moakler is also on Celebrity Big Brother Season 3. She’s another person on the cast with a Kardashian connection, as her ex-husband Travis Barker is engaged to Kourtney Kardashian. Perhaps she and Lamar Odom can forge an alliance called “the exes” or just give fans some juicy tidbits about their former partners via the live feeds.

Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been divorced for five years (with their romantic relationship having been over for a long time prior), but the former NBA star still can’t help but take an interest in his ex-wife’s life. After Kardashian’s more recent ex, Tristan Thompson, revealed that he fathered a child with another woman – and apologized to the reality star for cheating on her – Odom definitely had some thoughts about Thompson’s baby scandal.

Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian met in 2009 and got married only a month later. Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, and it came to light that Odom had cheated on his then-wife with multiple women, and he was also struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. So it came from a place of experience when Odom gave TMZ his word-mincing opinion about Tristan Thompson’s most recent cheating scandal.

Lamar Odom has said numerous times that he regrets the infidelity that took place during his marriage to Khloé Kardashian. It’s still noteworthy that Odom would judge Tristan Thompson for something that he was guilty of himself, but even with the way Kardashian and Odom’s marriage went down, the former Laker has always kept a high opinion of his ex-wife. 

While Lamar Odom said he hasn’t seen Khloé Kardashian in a long time, he said he knows she’s going to be all right because she’s a “strong girl,” and he said if he were to talk to her, that’s what he would say.

Khloé Kardashian hasn’t openly responded to Tristan Thompson’s public apology, but it was reported that she continues to communicate with him for the purpose of co-parenting their daughter True. Kardashian’s family is said to be taking the Thompson situation seriously, and her sisters showed their support after Thompson’s admission with social media posts and by sending flowers.

This isn’t the first time Lamar Odom has inserted himself into the conversation when it came to Khloé Kardashian and the Sacramento King. In July 2021 Odom commented on a bikini shot that Kardashian had posted to Instagram, calling her a “hottie.” Tristan Thompson didn’t take too kindly to the comment and gave a threatening response.

Tristan Thompson was making a reference to Lamar Odom’s 2015 drug overdose on cocaine and other substances during a three-day bender at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada. Odom was in a coma for four days and nearly died, and remained in the hospital for months after. Khloé Kardashian put their divorce proceedings on hold at the time and made medical decisions for him. However, after Odom was out of the woods, she went through with the divorce in 2016. 

I’m sure Tristan Thompson isn’t pleased that Lamar Odom is sending support to Khloé Kardashian, especially after the way Odom treated Kardashian during their marriage. It seems like Thompson’s apology included a sentiment that both men hold true, when he said his actions don’t align with the way he values her.

Viral content often spurs up a lot of wild reactions and unintentional beef that is not totally apropos of the content itself. Even for celebrities, it goes down in the comments. Such was the case when Khloe Kardashian harmlessly posted a sexy bikini pic on the Gram, and now her ex-husband Lamar Odom is getting called out by her other ex (???) Tristan Thompson.

What started it all was when Lamar Odom commented on Khloe Kardashian's bikini pic, calling her a “hottie” with a lot of flames and heart eyed emojis attached. To be fair, a lot of other people complimented her in the same way, including her sis Kim Kardashian and even Tristan Thompson himself. But Thompson caught wind of Odom’s ogling and apparently didn't like what he was seeing. He wrote another comment, saying:

Tristan Thompson appears to be calling out Lamar Odom's 2015 drug overdose that saw him in a coma for four days. (The life-or-death situation happened amidst Odom and Khloe Kardashian's pending divorce, but she was famously by his side throughout the whole ordeal.) It's not quite clear why Thompson is referring to that history, other than to suggest that Odom isn't going to get a second shot with Kardashian again. Point blank period, in other words. It's accurate to say that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and Lamar Odom had their problems, namely his cheating and drug use during their short-lived marriage. Yet Tristan Thompson's beef with Odom is a bit awkward to say the least, since it has been reported that Thompson and Kardashian recently broke up again over more cheating allegations levelled against himself. Thompson’s confident tone when calling out Odom may suggest, however, that maybe all those recent rumors concerning him and Kardashian may not be true after all.

Nevertheless, fans are absolutely living for the feud of Khloe Kardashian's (potential) two exes in her comments – at their expenses. Tristan Thompson could have easily taken it elsewhere, like the DMs for example, but he didn't. It reminds me of when Alex Rodriguez asked via Instagram where his party invite was to an event hosted by ex fiancée Jennifer Lopez's vocal coach. Sometimes social media is just where things come to light where they might not otherwise.

As seen by this Tristan Thompson-Lamar Odom snafu, the Kardashian-Jenners’ signature and constant parade of sexy pics often become much more than a thirst trap. They apparently can indicate a relationship might not be over or representative of women's empowerment or reveal how brand management works double overtime (and make some mistakes as a consequence).

Regardless, the Kardashian-Jenners have perfected the art of the thirst trap. And trap Khloe Kardashian did – her exes that is.

Followed a terrifying series of strokes and heart attacks, particularly at a fairly young age, NBA player Lamar Odom is doing better these days, and he credits his spike in good health to one specific source: marijuana. While promoting Rich Soil Organics, his new cannabis company, Odom talked about how Mary Jane helped him -- physically and mentally -- following his recent health concerns. Here's what Odom said about the "miracle" of marijuana.

People caught up with Lamar Odom at the Sunrise Caregiver Foundation in Torrance, CA to discuss his newest business venture. Following an accidental drug overdose in October 2015 that found the former basketball player and reality TV star unconscious at a brothel just outside Las Vegas and in a four-day coma, Odom checked himself into a San Diego rehabilitation facility -- particularly after his aforementioned string of heart attacks and strokes. But through cannabis, which he considers instrumental to his recent health recovery, Lamar Odom is doing better and finally moving forward.

In addition to these health concerns of late, Lamar Odom also suffers from high anxiety. It has negatively affected Odom decision-making, especially in moments of great significance, he claims, and it has taken a great toll on Lamar throughout the years -- particularly with his ongoing health problems. Thankfully, Odom believes cannabis has given him relief from these problems, and the athlete uses a specific strain to help with his anxiety.

While anxiety can sometimes be treated with therapy and/or prescribed medications, studies have shown that marijuana can help with symptoms as well. In the pursuit of helping others (while continuing to work away from his basketball career) Lamar Odom has decided to take on this newest cannabis business venture hoping that it will not only continue to better him, but serve as a vital source of relief for many others as well.

Of course, the conversation also ventured into his famous ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian. While Lamar Odom has worked on his newest line of business, Khloe Kardashian has recently given birth to her first child, True Thompson. Although the focus has often switched back to Khloe's new man, Tristan Thompson, who has reportedly been caught being unfaithful with several other women. While Odom didn't discuss this matter directly, a source close to the former basketball player-turned-entrepreneur admits he "feels" for Khloe Kardashian, and that Lamar Odom has considered reaching out to his former flame in her time of distress because he "feels terrible."

Although this new cannabis business is Lamar Odom's focus at the moment, the athlete might return to basketball soon, if not in the United States. As it was also recently revealed, Odom is hoping to score a contract overseas. It hasn't happened yet, but Lamar Odom remains optimistic. In any case, either as an entrepreneur, athlete or both, Lamar Odom is keeping himself busy these days. He's also keeping himself high too.

New reports indicate Lamar Odom is slipping back into his old bad habits. Over the weekend, people at the Bootsy Bellows nightclub on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles got a close-up glimpse of his back-to-black behavior when they observed the 38-year-old former NBA star collapse in a VIP lounge. In fact, some people even recorded video of the incident and sent it to various entertainment news outlets.

TMZ, for example, published a recording of Lamar Odom passed out. In the recording, viewers can see staff members from the club racing into the VIP lounge to assist Odom after he had fallen to the ground around 2:00 a.m. The celebrity gossip site also said Odom's representative tried to explain away the incident by saying it had to do with severe dehydration Odom had experienced after a hard workout that day. Also, the representative allegedly insisted Odom was "doing great." However, there supposedly were witnesses who saw the father of three drinking for hours upon hours before he hit the ground. This information, of course, directly contradicts the idea that Odom is doing well at all, as he previously has talked about his desire to live a clean and sober life (and his urgent need to do so).

Back in October 2015, Lamar Odom wound up unconscious when he overdosed on cocaine and other substances during a three-day bender at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, and he wound up in the hospital for three months. Khloe Kardashian, who was his estranged wife at the time, was by his side when he woke up. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians celebrity stayed by him during his early struggles, but she eventually divorced him when she saw pictures of him drinking alcoholic beverages at a shopping mall in 2016.

Later that year, Lamar Odom entered and finished a 30-day stint in rehab. He sought treatment of his own accord but also with the encouragement of his daughter, Destiny, who told him to choose either a relationship with her or a relationship with drugs and alcohol. This year, Odom detailed aspects of his addictions and his struggle to stay sober in the lengthy essay "Done in the Dark," which he penned for The Players Tribune. In the essay, Odom revealed in no uncertain words,

In the essay, Lamar Odom discussed how traumas from his past influenced his decisions to drink and try drugs over the years. Odom cited the loss of his mom to colon cancer when he was 14 as a major devastation he experienced in childhood that led him to self-medicate. Then, he talked about losing his six-month-old child to sudden infant death syndrome and how the emotions underneath that loss manifested in depressive behaviors and drug use.

It sounds like Lamar Odom is still playing with fire. Hopefully, this moment serves as his wake up call.

Before Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian divorced, Odom was great friends with her younger brother, Rob Kardashian. In fact, Rob Kardashian lived with the two of them for quite a while. Now Odom says he misses Rob Kardashian because they never speak anymore. In a recent interview, the 37-year-old former professional basketball player revealed the sad state of the friendship. Odom had trouble explaining why the friendship went south, but he indicated his marriage to Khloe Kardashian most likely contributed. Odom explained, saying,

If what Lamar Odom said on The Wendy Williams Show is any indication, he has done much self-reflection since he and Khloe Kardashian split. Odom might be correct that negative situations in his marriage to her strained his friendship with his former brother-in-law. Then again, much has happened in Odom's and Rob Kardashian's worlds in recent years.

For example, Lamar Odom went into a coma at a brothel in Las Vegas in October 2015. When he came to, Khloe Kardashian was by his side despite having filed for divorce earlier in the year. However, she refiled for divorce in 2016 when she saw pictures of Odom drinking. Since then, Odom has (mostly) cleaned up his act. (He admitted to Wendy Williams that he still drinks alcohol sometimes, even though it was the final straw for his ex-wife. However, he says he is clean from drugs.)

Life has been busy for Rob Kardashian as well. The 30-year-old reality television personality and his estranged girlfriend, Blac Chyna, went public with their relationship in early 2016. He proposed to her in April of the same year and then they announced they were to become parents. The on-and-off couple had a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff, E!'s Rob & Chyna, which documented their therapy sessions and fights. Then Blac Chyna gave birth to Dream Kardashian in November 2016, and by February of this year, the pair had called it quits. So, it is no wonder Rob Kardashian is too busy to hang out with his sister's ex-husband.

Still, not being close to Rob Kardashian, not to mention the rest of the famous family, might be a good thing for Lamar Odom. When Wendy Williams asked him whether or not he would get back together with Khloe Kardashian, Odom gave a straightforward, "No." He said not getting back together and keeping a healthy distance would be the best plan for the both of them. Perhaps Lamar Odom will get a chance to see Rob Kardashian down the road and apologize for the strain he feels he caused.

Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Lamar Odom in 2013, and the pair legally split in December of 2016. The two have no children together. However, back when Kardashian and Odom were still sticking to their for better or worse vows, Kardashian underwent fertility treatments to improve her shots of becoming pregnant. Well, at least that was what she was saying back then to Odom. The 32-year-old reality television personality recently revealed she "fake tried" to get pregnant and the fertility treatments were a façade. Kardashian opened up about her faux attempts at becoming pregnant and said,

Khloe Kardashian revealed the secret in a preview for the season finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, during which she and her older sister, Kim Kardashian, paid a visit to a fertility doctor. They visited to discuss the possibility of Khloe Kardashian becoming the surrogate of the third child Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would like to have. The jury is still out on what the result of the Kardashian sisters' visit to the fertility doctor will be. But during the meeting, the doctor asked whether Khloe Kardashian had ever tried to become pregnant. The Revenge Body star at first gave an affirmative answer, but then she backpedaled a little bit and explained about not following through with fertility treatments because of the state of the marriage.

On the episode, Khloe Kardashian explains she chose not to pursue becoming pregnant in earnest because "it wasn't the right situation" for a child. Moreover, she indicated she felt okay talking about the matter because for too long she took on the burden of covering up marital issues and Lamar Odom's dark problems. So, in saying this, Khloe Kardashian makes it sound like she had some awareness her marriage was on the outs. Furthermore, when Khloe Kardashian talks about the "deeper stuff" in their marriage, she underscores her previous statements about Lamar Odom's drug problems.

These days, things are looking up for both Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian in their separate lives. Lamar Odom recently talked about his sobriety journey and the many realizations he has made in the time since he hit rock bottom. Kardashian is now getting more and more serious in her relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Tristan Thompson, and she sees a great future for them. She has previously expressed interest in starting a family, so perhaps one day she will get a chance to try fertility treatments for real.

Not so long ago, the outlook looked grim for former NBA star Lamar Odom when he was found comatose in a brothel near Las Vegas in October 2015. The ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian suffered a dozen strokes and two heart attacks in the aftermath of that blunder, and now he is discussing the first things he saw and thought when he opened his eyes in the hospital bed after surviving the terrifying drug-induced coma. Here is what he said about the intense emotions he felt when he came to and found Kardashian by his side:

Lamar Odom spoke with Us Weekly to talk about his battle with addiction and the struggles that led to his divorce from Khloe Kardashian. In January, Odom finished a stay at the Casa Palmera rehab center in San Diego, and he says he is now clean and sober. However, Odom's road to recovery hit a low bottom in the hospital.

Khloe Kardashian discovered Lamar Odom abusing cocaine at some point during their marriage. Odom said Kardashian tolerated the drug use but did not accept it. She had already filed for divorce from Lamar Odom when she received the devastating news about his hospitalization. However, Kardashian decided not to finalize the divorce until May of last year, when she refiled divorce documents after pictures surfaced of Odom drinking at a shopping mall in Los Angeles. According to Odom, he and Kardashian have not been intimate in years, but he feels especially grateful for the time she devoted to him between his hospitalization and the divorce.

Lamar Odom also explored ways that his drug use led to the end of his career. He indicated that cocaine became more important than working on his marriage and training for his job. He lost his desire to stay in shape and his sex drive. Eventually, Lamar Odom reentered rehab with the encouragement of his eldest child, daughter Destiny Odom, who gave him an ultimatum--a relationship with drugs or a relationship with her. Odom managed to stay for the entire 30 days of the program, and he left with a newfound knowledge of ways drugs affect the human brain. He said of the experience:

It sounds like Lamar Odom is on his way to a healthy place. Not everyone who hits rock bottom can survive it; and, to be fair, Odom almost didn't. But, as a famous author once explained, rock bottom can become the solid foundation upon which a person rebuilds a life. We hope Odom is looking forward to what comes next, and we send him tons of positive wishes on his journey.

Even without Bill Simmons heading the conversation with semi-controversial jabber, ESPN still has some poignant points to make on occasion. It happened recently when SportsCenter’s Scott Van Pelt took a shot at entertainment media for choosing to refer to Lamar Odom as a reality TV star over a sports champion. Check it out.

This is probably the calmest method of mentally whooping an ass I’ve seen in some time, with all the bravado and snark of a Daily Show segment, but without the same amount of hoopla. (And it’s no small victory to hear Van Pelt say Bun B’s name.) With the emotion of an educator standing before a class, he rips the media for ignoring Odom’s former glory on the basketball court, where he was an Olympic athlete, a two-time champion, as well as the Sixth Man of the Year in 2011. It was this level of fame that led him to the point where he was involved with Khloe Kardashian and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff. This wasn’t how things always were.

Odom has been in the headlines more and more in the time following news of his divorce from Khloe, for drug problems and other troublesome instances. And while news coverage has recently given more time to the behind-the-scenes problems of sports stars, Odom might not have had to worry about this if people just thought of him as a basketball player and not an E! reality staple. But I guess it’s like Van Pelt said, it depends on what kind of a person you are.

Regardless of where you stand, it’s hard to argue that this segment-ending quote was an excellent punctuation to his sentiments.

Odom is currently in a coma in a Nevada hospital, where he’s been since Tuesday after he was found unconscious at a brothel, allegedly with cocaine and sex-enhancement pills in his system. He’d spent days at the brothel to get away from his normal life, which has taken some tragic turns in the past year. Things aren’t exactly better now, though.

It’s definitely a strange time in entertainment when players can be known for so many things that aren’t their main claims to fame. I don’t think anyone would refer to Michael Jordan as “Hanes’ pitchman” or Terry Bradshaw as “Failure to Launch star.” But some people’s obsession with the Kardashians and other reality show stars definitely stretches the boundaries it seems. Something is going on with Rob Kardashian right now. Various rumors have claimed everything from depression to eating disorders to drugs. Maybe it’s all three. Maybe it’s none. None of us are there to know for sure, but if one thing is clear, it’s that Khloe Kardashian blames herself for it.

The likeable thirty-year-old reality star opened up publicly this week for the first time about the troubles her brother’s going through, and it’s very clear, she thinks she’s at least partially responsible for exposing Rob Kardashian to her now ex-husband Lamar Odom. They all lived together for awhile, and Khloe seems to think the two men made some terrible choices after they were exposed to each other.

Beyond that, if even a fraction of the rumors are true, Odom may have made some poor choices in the family home, and peer pressure can be a tough thing for some people to overcome.

Someone in the Kardashian family, someone close to the Kardashian family or someone who works for the Kardashian family seems to have sticky fingers. Over the last few months, two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in jewelry and high end items vanished from the house Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom once shared. Then, approximately fifty thousand dollars in cold hard cash walked out Kourtney Kardashian’s door, and for obvious reasons, the police reportedly think the two cases are related.

According to TMZ, authorites have reportedly decided to focus on the Kourtney matter first. Since there were no signs of forced entry, whoever stole the money almost certainly had easy access to the home. Obviously, the Kardashian family would like to think someone who was inside painting or helping to move or working on something stumbled upon the money and impulsively took off with it because the alternative would mean someone they’re actually close to did it for reasons unknown.

Given his well documented drug problems and his issues with Khloe, Odom, sadly for him, jumps out as a very likely candidate, but there’s almost no way it was actually him. He’s been in Spain playing basketball in hopes of making an NBA comeback next year. So, cross him off the suspects list.

Police haven’t spoken extensively on the record about these thefts, but they’re reportedly going to put together a list of who had access to both of the homes. Khloe is reportedly hoping the authorites will lie detector every single person she knows, but that seems like a lot of resouces.

We’ll keep you updated on this mess as it unfolds. Burglaries don’t typically have the highest solve rate, but something tells me the locals will put some more effort into this one given the Kardashians are prominently featured on what feels like ten hours worth of television programming a week.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are still wearing their wedding rings, but let’s be honest, their marriage isn’t exactly in the healthiest of places. By most accounts, he’s battling a raging drug addiction, and while she’s not overtly throwing the middle finger at him (yet), she’s doing so in some far more subtle ways. As such, there’s a very good chance this relationship will eventually end up in divorce court, and when it does, it will apparently be far simpler than the exhausting, almost two year process her sister Kim went through to rid herself of Kris Humphries.

According to TMZ, Lamar and Khloe have a very ironclad prenuptial agreement that keeps all of the assets they went into the marriage with separate. Since pretty much everyone on Earth believes these two genuinely did love each other and tried to give it a real go, there aren’t any questions of fraud, and since he supposedly cheated on her in addition to the alleged drug abuse behavior, there aren’t any concerns they might be splitting impulsively or stupidly. Plus, no one involved seems like the type to fight it out over every last dollar. Odom may have had his share of troubles recently, but I’ve never heard anyone say deep down he doesn’t mean well.

As for why the divorce hasn’t happened sooner, there are a variety of theories. There are many who think Khloe is actually still interested in saving the marriage, provided Lamar gets help and cleans up his act, and there are others who are convinced she’s just waiting until he’s in a better place to drop the bomb in order to prevent him from potentially harming himself after getting hit with the bad news.

For the most part, he’s simply taken the shots on the chin without even attempting to move out of the way via a publicist, agent or anyone else, but apparently, the big man draws the line when members of his so-called family get involved.

Recently, Odom’s father, a recovering drug addict in his own right, gave an interview in which he bashed the Kardashian family, blaming them for his son’s downfall and calling Kris Jenner “an evil bitch”. The Kardashian clan has been in the public eye for a while and in that time, we’ve seen various family members deal with troubled relationships. Khloe Kardashian-Odom and Lamar Odom always seemed like the golden couple within the family, but over the last couple of months as news of Lamor Odom’s reported drug addictions surfaced, the threads have started to unravel. Kardashian hasn't said much publically about the problems in her relationship, but recently, she made a subtle alteration that seems to speak volumes.

Kardashian’s been a pretty avid user of her Instagram account lately, posting a few sad and determined photos of herself. She recently changed her name on the social photo site, taking away the Odom. The small gesture could mean that the couple will be heading to divorce court soon, as rumors have indicated over the past several weeks.

After trashing some photographers' cars in July, word broke in August that the former NBA 6th man of the year has reportedly been doing crack cocaine for a couple of years ago. That news at first seemed wild, but as more and more stories broke and people began connecting the player’s drug use with his failures and issues in his NBA career, the whole thing became more difficult to deny. Couple that with the potential that Odom may have cheated on his wife of nearly four years and you can see why the two might be having problems.

At the end of August, Khloe and her family confronted Odom about his drug use, and when he refused to do anything about it, she asked him to pack his stuff and leave their home. In the weeks following, Odom was arrested. Beyond that, he continued ignoring Kardashian’s pleas to work on their marriage.

You can’t fight for a marriage if your partner isn’t equally invested, and Kardashian’s recent Instagram name change seems to prove that she has accepted that.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom haven’t secured lawyers yet. Ending their marriage isn’t nearly as important as making sure he doesn’t overdose, but apparently, that unwillingness to officially sever ties doesn’t mean Khloe is still actively trying to save her estranged husband. In fact, she’s apparently done with holding interventions.

According to E! Online, Khloe is focusing on herself right now. She’s trying to find ways to be happy, and members of her family are supporting her in that quest. Initially, Kris Jenner and company were reportedly very encouraging that the relationship could be saved, but after the failed intervention, the DUI arrest, the almost immediate exodus from rehab and all the other problems, they’ve realized maybe Khloe would be better off bailing, especially when he’s apparently not interested in saving the marriage.

On the one hand, it’s easy to see how they came to that conclusion. Khloe needs to be happy. She can’t spend every single night sitting up and worrying about where Lamar is. She did that for large portions of two entire years, and the past few months have reportedly been the worst they’ve ever been. A wife can only do so much to try and save her husband. Ultimately, it’s on him to try and get his shit together.

On the other hand, however, if Khloe isn’t going to look out for Lamar, who is? He needs someone to keep at him and offer him love right now more than ever. If she’s already bailing, what are the chances anyone other than bad influences and users will remain? Besides, if neither of them have gone to divorce attorneys, they’re still married in the eyes of the law and after so many years together, there are clearly a lot of feelings still in play.

Over the past few months, Lamar Odom has done damn near everything possible to torpedo his marriage. He’s reportedly cheated on his wife Khloe Kardashian with at least one woman. He’s reportedly blown thousands of dollars on crack. He’s been arrested, dropped from his NBA team and accused of burglary. Given all that, it’s not a surprise his marriage is almost sprinting toward divorce court, but it is a surprise that Odom himself is reportedly the one pushing it there.

You’d think after all the bullshit she’s had to put up with that Khloe would be the one sick of being in the union but according to People, she really wants to make the marriage work, despite the litany of problems he’s thrown at her door. Unfortunately, Lamar doesn’t feel the same way. He’s been living outside the family’s home for much of the past few months, and he’s apparently fine with that. Sources close to the situation claim she’s doing everything in her power to hold things together, but he’s not interested in helping in the slightest. He seems to think he would be totally fine on his own, much the same way he thinks he doesn’t have a drug problem.

Because Odom’s issues are affecting his career and could even potentially affect his life, it’s unlikely an actual divorce will occur in the short-term. Everyone is primarily focused on getting Lamar into rehab, but every single day this rift continues is another obstacle these two will have to overcome before reconciling. Emotional wounds like this don’t just go away after someone gets sober or stops cheating or wakes the hell up. They can fester for decades.

Most people might be worried about Lamar Odom’s life implosion, but Lamar Odom is most definitely not concerned. The former Los Angeles Laker was out and about in LA yesterday when he was asked a series of questions about his current situation, and apparently, he thinks everything is skating along just as smoothly as ever.

Speaking to TMZ, Odom told the outlet’s cameraman he’s 1) planning to play in the NBA this season, 2) still talking to his wife Khloe Kardashian on a regular basis, 3) doesn’t need professional help, 4) doesn’t have a drug problem and 5) is in a great place. So, if you’re keeping score at home, either everything you’ve heard about Odom over the past month is a vicious lie, or he’s completely unwilling to acknowledge the utter state of disrepair his life has fallen into.

There’s a difference between not openly talking about what’s going on in your personal life and not actively dealing with the problems in your personal life. If Odom doesn’t want to release a statement verifying that he’s gone off the rails, that’s totally understandable. Whether his wife is a reality star or not, he isn’t obligated to cater to the media. Unfortunately, however, this lack of communication seems to be going much deeper. He seems to be avoiding his own issues and just not dealing with them to the point where he either hasn’t gone to rehab or went to rehab and checked out after a single day, depending on which version of the story you’d like to believe.

Lamar says he’s waiting for his phone to ring in order to play this season for an NBA squad, but until he gets prolonged help and proves he’s sober, that phone call is not going to come. Every single day he waits will only make it harder to achieve long-term sobriety and to convince others to take a chance on him.

Let’s face it. Crack isn’t exactly the Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons of drugs. The majority of addicts try it because they’re looking for a really cheap way to get high, but now and again, people with boatloads of money go down that path too. Given how insanely addictive it can be, that’s not a huge shock. What is shocking, however, is the amount of money Lamar Odom was apparently dropping on that drug habit every single day.

According to TMZ, Odom moved into the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood with a friend following the conclusion of the Los Angeles Clippers’ season. For much of the time since, the big man has reportedly been hanging out with drug dealers and crack addicts, plowing through, on average $800 a day. How could someone possibly spend that much money on a drug that can go for a couple dollars per hit on the street? Well, one would imagine he’s a) buying premium, high end crack (which sounds like an oxymoron), b) getting charged more money than necessary by dealers and c) sharing his supply with friends who might want a taste too. Regardless, it’s the equivalent of someone shelling out money for a suite at a crappy motel when they could have gotten a nice room at a reputable establishment.

For the life of me, I can’t understand why a man would want to live with a friend inside a hotel room, as opposed to with his wife in a mansion, but considering I can’t understand why anyone would want to smoke crack on the regular either, there’s probably no point in trying to figure out what’s going through Lamar’s mind right now. All I and the rest of his fans can do is sincerely hope he gets his act together sooner rather than later.

Whether or not he’s currently making forward progress is a bit unclear, however, because there are so many conflicting reports about what the hell has happened in the past few days. At first, the entire Internet was convinced he checked into rehab. Then, the world did an aboutface and concluded he didn’t go to rehab. Now, the latest rumors claim he went to rehab for a single day before bolting.

Regardless, Pop Blend’s sincerest well-wishes go out to Lamar. Here’s to hoping we get less of this and more of this moving forward.

Khloe Kardashian asked her husband Lamar Odom to enter rehab on several different occasions this summer. She held interventions, got her family members involved and even reached out to former teammates. Finally, after his recent driving under the influence arrest, she reportedly issued an ultimatum. If he didn’t seek help, he wouldn’t be allowed back in the house. Recent reports indicate he decided to go with option b, seek help, but oddly, he doesn’t seem to have told his estranged wife.

According to TMZ, Khloe heard about the news just like the rest of us, via random Internet news reports last night. She apparently has no idea what facility he’s checked into or even who might have dropped him off. She’s completely out of the loop, though she’s reportedly relieved that he’s at least making an effort and trying to get his life in gear.

Addicts who try to get better for the benefit of other people tend to fail. Every prominent addiction specialist says addicts need to do it for themselves. So, in that way, it’s a good thing that Lamar checked into rehab with the apparent goal of getting better rather than saving his marriage, but at the same time, the general outline of what happened doesn’t seem to be a good sign for that marriage. How does a man who has a wife who’s worried sick about him not at least shoot her a phone call and say, “I’m going to go get some help”? The whole thing is just bizarre on a lot of levels, but I suppose everything about Lamar’s life had been bizarre for the past few years.

Wherever Odom might have gone, Pop Blend wishes him nothing but the best in his recovery efforts. He has so much left to contribute in life and on the basketball floor, and whether his marriage can be saved or not, he needs to get better to make the most of his time here. Hopefully, this trip to rehab will be the exact spark he needs to make that happen.

After weeks of negative publicity, a driving under the influence arrest and rumors of serious marital problems, Lamar Odom has reportedly taken one giant NBA player-sized step toward recovery. He’s apparently checked into rehab, and while details are still very fuzzy on the specifics, if true, it’s great news for his fans, his family members and most importantly, himself.

Two different sources confirmed the news to People, and in the time since, US Weekly has confirmed with its own sources. Neither outlet has offered anything in the way of details, but considering Los Angeles is overflowing with rehab centers employing pretty much every philosophy imaginable, he certainly should have been able to find a place to his liking.

Odom had some minor problems with marijuana busts during his first few years in the league, but for a long stretch in the ‘00s, he was able to right the ship and greatly contribute to two Lakers NBA Championship teams. During his final season with the team, however, his behavior became a little bit erratic. Two years ago in Dallas, it got so bad the Mavericks actually sent him home. Last summer, he secretly checked into a San Diego rehab clinic and was able to get it together to contribute for the Clippers last season, but over the past few months, his life has spiraled out of control.

In all likelihood, Odom has one chance to get it together if he ever wants to play in the NBA again. If he is able to get completely clean and work out like a madman for an entire year, someone will take a chance on him next season. He’s just too damn talented, but if he’s unable to work himself back in shape or checks out of rehab early, I’m not sure he’ll ever score another point. I’d like to think that will be enough encouragement, but I’m really not sure.

Remember that time you walked into class in middle school and suddenly got the feeling everyone had just been talking about you? We all have at least one of those stories. Unfortunately for Khloe Kardashian, her story is happening right now, and her middle school classroom is populated by every single person in the world who cares about celebrity gossip and/ or her basketball playing husband Lamar Odom. Under that intense spotlight, many people would likely run into a corner and hide or lash out. Khloe, however, has other plans.

The starlet took to her Twitter account just hours after her husband’s driving under the influence of something arrest and offered up a few photographs as well as some sage advice.

There are a lot of celebrities in Hollywood who misbehave, engage in stupid and/ or dangerous activities or in some way bring the salacious headlines upon themselves, but Khloe is most definitely not one of those celebrities. She’s always come across like a genuinely likeable person who has a pretty good head on her shoulders. Now and again, however, we’re dropped into the middle of someone else’s problems, and we just need to respond accordingly.

Rumors have swirled for almost a week that she might file for divorce, but thus far, she’s stuck by her husband. In fact, word out of the Kardashian camp is mom Kris Jenner might be the one who is pushing her to bail, but Khloe’s only priority right now is trying to make sure Lamar is healthy, safe and getting treatment.

The biggest problem with addiction is a person can’t truly be helped until he or she actually wants help. Khloe has organized interventions. She’s thrown him out of the house, and she’s even reached out to his former teammates. Thus far, nothing has worked. Consequently, all she can keep doing is shooting for a balance between being supportive and taking moments for herself in order to make sure she doesn’t go crazy.

Troubled former Los Angeles Lakers/ Clippers big man Lamar Odom was arrested this morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of driving under the influence. The bust is just the latest in a long series of rumors and displays of erratic conduct that have transformed the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year from a happily married, well-liked player and reality television personality to an unemployed, possibly soon-to-be-divorced drug addict.

According to TMZ, Odom was on the 101 in the San Fernando Valley just outside Los Angeles a little before four AM this morning when police officers pulled up behind him. He was reportedly driving under the speed limit at around fifty miles per hour and in a “serpentine manner”. They signaled for him to pull over, but he allegedly plowed past three more exits before he either noticed or decided to care. Either way, officers were pretty suspicious when they approached the vehicle, and apparently, they had good reason to be.

Odom reportedly smelled of alcohol and acted like someone who was drunk, high or both. Several field sobriety tests were later administered, and the ex-NBA player reportedly failed them all. His car was later searched, though nothing was found, and he was taken to the station and charged with driving under the influence, though exactly what is unclear. Officers gave him the chance to take a chemical test, but he reportedly refused. He eventually paid his bond and was released with an appointment to return at some point in the future.

If Odom had even a shred of hope of playing in the NBA this season, it melted away with this arrest. The best he can hope for is to work himself back in playing shape and hope someone will give him a chance with a one year, veteran’s minimum salary next season. He’s not exactly a spring chicken at 33, but given how talented he is, he could potentially contribute somewhere down the line. He’s going to need to prove he can be reliable, however.

It’s unclear when exactly Odom’s problems with substance abuse began, but most place the origin, at least with hard drugs, near the end of his tenure with the Lakers. Hotel rooms started getting destroyed. His behavior started getting erratic, and he flipped out to an unreasonable level after the team tried to trade him. He later vowed not to play for the Lakers again and was eventually moved to Dallas, where the wheels came off almost immediately. He was godawful during his tenure with the team, appearing out of shape and failing to contribute. Eventually, he was paid just to go away, and his drug use apparently increased exponentially.

At wife Khloe Kardashian’s urging, he checked into rehab last summer and made it about three weeks. The Clippers offered him a contract prior to the season, and he actually played a lot of valuable minutes, helping the other LA team to a franchise record number of wins. Once the season was over, though, the wheels reportedly came off, and now, those closest to him are genuinely concerned about his safety.

Odom needs help, but in order for him to get that, he needs to recognize he has a problem. Here’s to hoping he does that quickly.

Lamar Odom’s alleged cocaine and crack usage has been a big story in the news over the past several days. Even though we haven’t heard from the basketball player himself on the matter, the flood of reports coupled with the lack of denials would lead a person to believe there’s probably something going on, especially when one factors in the rumors that he cheated on his wife Khloe Kardashian too. As such, it’s not surprising the two are apparently considering a divorce, but it is a little surprising that Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner is reportedly taking the lead.

Reports on Wednesday indicate that Jenner went to see Laura Wasser, a high profile divorce lawyer in Los Angeles, to discuss the best way to handle the prenuptial agreement between Khloe and Lamar and get the basketball player cut out of her daughter’s life swiftly and painlessly. According to the NY Daily News, Jenner believes that Kardashian is being super emotional about the situation and does not particularly want to divorce her husband, despite Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kim Kardashian all believing that bailing is the best call she could make right now.

All of this is hearsay, of course, but it wouldn’t be remotely surprising if Khloe would rather try to help her husband through his painful drug addiction rather than dump him to the curb. She’s always been the defensive mom-type personality in the family, and she doesn’t seem like the sort of person who would divorce her husband without spending some real time thinking about the prospect.

Of course, this isn’t your average situation. Over the weekend, reports surfaced that Odom has been dealing with a heavy drug addiction for the past eight months and has been doing drugs for even longer, which would go a long way to explain the man’s faltering skill levels on the court over the last several seasons, as well as his weight fluctuations. Yesterday, new reports indicated that Odom might have been doing drugs for far longer than was initially expected, as hotels came out to explain the player had trashed plenty of rooms since his days with the LA Lakers.

If Kardashian does take her mother’s advice and moves forward with a divorce, Wasser is probably a good woman to have on board. The lawyer famously helped Kim get through her split from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. She’s also helped a number of other big celebrities through painful divorces, including Heidi Klum, Ryan Reynolds, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, Kenny G. and many, many more. She’s a good woman to have in your court if you are dealing with high profile divorce issues and things like prenups, and if any celebrity has a reason to part from her husband, it’s Kardashian.

Sometimes it’s tough to let someone go when they are going through a difficult or troubling time, but if the extent of Odom’s issues hold true, than the basketball player will need to get clean before he can even begin to think about repairing his relationship with Khloe. It’s not unfair to ask her to be there for her husband during this troubling time, but she can be helpful without staying in the marriage. There’s a difference between supporting someone and sacrificing your own happiness.

Considering no one involved with the Lamar Odom drug scandal has spoken on the record, it’s probably improper to say the former NBA star’s world is on fire. Instead, let’s just say there’s a hell of a lot of smoke, and that smoke seems to be getting thicker by the hour. Reports are now emerging that Odom’s alleged cocaine/ crack usage may stretch all the way back to his time with the Lakers.

According to TMZ, Odom stayed in a Westin Hotel with the rest of his Mavericks teammates in Memphis not long before Mark Cuban paid him to go away. Upon checkout, employees allegedly discovered a horror scene in the big man’s room. There were apparently carpet burns all over the floor, white powder all over the desk, and the room reeked of a foul stench. It was so bad the maintenance crew actually had to lay down new carpet. Put together, it sounds like the room was used as a den of debauchery for Odom’s drug habit. Beyond that hotel, employees of several others across the country have reportedly come forward to say Odom has left rooms in similar conditions going all the way back to his final days with the Lakers.

Is that why the team first tried to trade him in the cancelled Chris Paul deal and later moved him to Dallas for almost nothing? Maybe. Maybe not. Sources close to the Mavericks and owner Mark Cuban are saying the team had no idea Odom was actually on drugs during the season, just an acute awareness that something was really going wrong in his life. The Lakers too may have had that same mentality and decided to honor his trade request because he needed a fresh start. Then again, they may have known exactly what was up and shipped the problem to Dallas.

During his time with the Mavericks, Odom allegedly spent some of his days smoking cocaine and Oxycontin. This summer, he’s apparently progressed (or degressed) all the way to using crack, which is, without question, one of the least classy drugs this side of glue. If even a fraction of all the stories are true, Lamar needs to get help immediately. The intervention the Kardashian family gave him last week was a big failure, but many of his friends have reportedly joined the cause now. Hopefully, they’ll be able to talk some sense into him before it’s too late. In all probability, he’s already ruined his marriage and his career, but there’s no reason why he needs to ruin his life. Besides, if he were to quit tomorrow and work out like a madman for the next twelve months, someone would probably take a chance on him.

If you’re wondering how a scandal involving crack use and the NBA star husband of a Kardashian sister could possibly stay hidden for two years, it’s probably because Khloe kept Lamar’s darkest problems from everyone. Her mother, Kris Jenner, apparently didn’t know for more than a year, and her sisters apparently just found out. Even private investigators hired to keep an eye on Odom were reportedly kept mostly out of the loop.

According to TMZ, Khloe didn’t want to cause problems for her famous family members, and she didn’t want to risk the secret getting out. So, she put her head down and shouldered the load as best as she could by herself. Eventually, she told her mother, reportedly on the condition she keep her mouth shut, but it wasn’t until rumors about Odom’s alleged infidelities started flying that Kim and Kourtney started asking questions and figuring out something wasn’t quite right.

If Lamar’s problems had begun two years ago and progressively gotten worse, it’s safe to say all of this would have gone public by now. These two probably be divorced already too, but by all accounts, he’s waffled between sobriety and drugs over the past two years. When he was allegedly using and when he wasn’t haven’t been made public, but pretty reasonable guesses can be made based on his play. The power forward was godawful during his season with the Dallas Mavericks two years ago, but he rebounded quite a bit for the Clippers this past season. That likely means he was clean until the end of the playoffs and has once again gone off the deep end, which is what led to an intervention last Wednesday. Sadly, he reportedly refused to get help and was promptly booted out of the house.

Following the failed intervention, Odom basically disappeared for a few days. No one from either his family nor the Kardashian clan was able to contact him, and there was some fear for his safety. Luckily, Khloe was eventually able to figure out where he was, and by all accounts, he was unharmed. That doesn’t necessarily speak very well to his mental health and decision-making skills, but it’s really more of a one step at a time kinda thing right now.

At this point, it seems like a divorce is very likely, but it’s not imminent. Neither Khloe nor Lamar has reached out to divorce attorneys, and she has apparently vowed not to take him back unless he gets clean. That unless is very important, however, is it implies there is still some chance, at least if the stars align, for these two to make it work over the long haul.

Almost immediately after Lamar Odom’s alleged drug problems went public, the guessing game began as to what substances he may be abusing. Prescription drugs? Marijuana? Meth? No, no and no. If the latest whispers are to be believed, Odom has been excited about crack cocaine.

According to TMZ, the NBA star has supposedly been experimenting with crack on and off for the past two years. That could explain why he suddenly got so godawful at basketball while in Dallas, and it probably goes a long way to explain why he got sent home before the season was even over. Apparently, he got his act together once the season started for the Clippers last year, but once the lights went out on the team’s playoff run, it’s been one giant party.

Unfortunately for Odom, that big party crashed back to reality earlier this week when his wife, Khloe Kardashian, allegedly give him the boot from their shared home. If this crack abuse story has any merit to it, that certainly seems like a sensible response, especially considering he also may have cheated on her.

When it comes to drug use in the NBA, I’m not particularly bothered by off-season weed use. Technically, smoking a little pot is illegal and could have consequences, but provided a player is smart about it, I wouldn’t really look down on him for it. Smoking crack, however, is another matter entirely. For the life of me, I can’t understand why anyone would ever go there. It destroys lives with a reckless efficiency, and beyond that, it’s unsafe, dirty and pretty classless. Apart from momentary euphoria, I can’t see a single positive with doing it once, let alone abusing it.

Since Odom isn’t signed with an NBA team and an intervention held on Wednesday reportedly failed, it’s unclear where the former Sixth Man of the Year might go from here. Unfortunately, without a full scale change in his mindset, I can’t imagine this ends very well. After all, I’m not sure anyone has ever looked back on ignoring an intervention with fondness, a fact the characters of How I Met Your Mother are certainly aware of.

When he wants to be, Odom can be a very generous and kind-hearted guy. Most of his teammates were big fans of the power forward throughout his tenure in the NBA, and during the early part of his marriage, he got along great with his wife Khloe. Hopefully, after plenty of soul searching, Lamar can get back to being that smiley, loveable guy, whether his marriage can be saved at this point or not.

Remember all those Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom marriage-on-the-rocks rumors the entire Kardashian Family so consistently brushed off? Well, it turns out there was probably a whole lot more truth to those tales than the average Kardashian-related tabloid story. Over the past few days, the door of secrecy has seemingly blown off the reality starlet and (former) NBA star’s bunker, and if even a fraction of what has poured out is true, these two need to get to counseling in a hurry.

According to TMZ, Odom has gotten excited about doing drugs over the past few years. He’s spent some time in a rehabilitation facility, and the strain of it has apparently caused a pretty big rift in Khloe and Lamar’s relationship. She and the rest of her family members reportedly confronted the big man about trying to get clean again on Wednesday, but when that conversation went South, she allegedly made him pack his shit and go.

Rumors about a mistress Odom may or may not be/ have been seeing over the past few months have also been spiraling out of control. Sources close to the situation are saying there’s probably some truth to the alleged philandering too. Combined together, you would think all of this would be enough to push the union over the edge and into divorce court, but with these two, that’s not necessarily the case.

Neither party has commented on the record, but neither has gone to a divorce attorney yet. Judging by how long he’s reportedly been struggling with drugs (he was clean during last season with the Clippers), Khloe is clearly very motivated to try and make it work. After all, these two, at their best moments, seem to make each other happier than any of the people around them. Whenever people were asked which Kardashian relationship was most likely to work out, this one was almost always chosen and and with good reason. They seemed perfect together.

On the other hand, however, Khloe is a smart and sensible woman, and she’s only going to put up with so much. Honestly, how many chances should someone get to go to rehab? And how many times can they be rumored to have cheated before the law needs to be laid down? I want to think these two will make it over the long haul, but I’m really not very confident anymore.

Lamar Odom might come across as a loveable and extremely affable dude on all the Kardashian-related reality programs, but apparently, his demeanor has been a little less rosy at certain points over the past few years. Rumors are swirling that the former NBA sixth man of the year who rapidly and for unexplained reasons got a whole lot worse at basketball has been on and off drugs for the past few years.

According to TMZ, Khloe Kardashian and her family members surprised Odom with an intervention on Wednesday. They were reportedly hoping to get the former Clipper into rehab as soon as possible, but he apparently had none of it, which didn’t sit well with his wife. She reportedly told him to seek help immediately or pack up his shit and go, and he promptly went with the latter choice.

The exact timeline of Lamar’s alleged drug abuse isn’t completely clear, but a general outline has emerged. Apparently, Odom’s recreational drug abuse turned into a far more serious problem last summer after he was basically run out of Dallas for being out of shape and looking disinterested. In August, Khloe allegedly forced him into rehab and hired two private investigators to stand guard on the door to make sure he didn’t bolt. It worked for a few weeks, but he reportedly bolted before his month was up. Later, he was able to sober up enough to get through the season and actually contribute to the Clippers playoff run, but in the time since, he supposedly spiraled off the rails.

All of this, however, is pure speculation at this point. Neither Odom nor anyone from the Kardashian family has spoken publically about this alleged addiction, and you could fill a fucking mansion with different tabloids filled with completely false stories about the NBA player’s relationship with his immediate and extended family. Sure, his behavior has been a little weird lately, but that doesn’t mean he’s doing hard drugs. I mean, for the love of God, there really haven’t been very many publically exposed NBA drug problems since the glory days of rampant coke use in the 1970s.

Contrary to what Dallas Mavericks fans might tell you, Lamar Odom is typically a very sweet guy. If anything, NBA general mangers and scouts have always wondered whether his jolly attitude kept him from becoming one of the best players in the league. From eating too much candy to drinking coffee before practice, Odom has always been almost child-like in his goofy behavior, but unfortunately, none of that good humor was on display yesterday when he went nuts on two photographers in Hollywood.

According to TMZ, it’s unclear exactly why Odom got so furious with the paparazzi, but once the Kraken was unleashed, it got really scary in a hurry. He reportedly entered one man’s car, grabbed all of his camera equipment and threw it into the middle of a busy street. Later, he reportedly smashed a second photographer’s window with a metal bar, grabbed that dude’s equipment and tossed it into the back of his own car before speeding away.

The entire messy ordeal happened in full view of numerous cameras, pedestrians and tourists. Almost immediately, one of the men filed a police report accusing Odom of vandalism, but at this point, authorities are still investigating and haven’t made any arrests. Considering how public the dust-up was and how much camera equipment costs, however, it seems likely Odom will eventually be forced to confront what happened, either in the court system or with his wallet.

So, what the hell could possibly get Lamar so worked up? Well, several outlets including Radar Online are reporting the forward was recently thrown out of his house by wife Khloe Kardashian for allegedly cheating on her. At this point, those whispers are unsubstantiated; however, their existence means Odom’s fuse was probably a little short with media types prior to the altercation. If they’re true and he was actually kicked out of the house, that’s probably an even better explanation for why he would fly off the handle.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I like this Odom a whole lot less than the happy one who giggles his way through life. Anger isn’t a good color on anyone, and it’s particularly upsetting on those who are supposed to be the nice guys. Luckily, one action doesn’t define a man (at least not usually), and there will be plenty of time for Lamar to redeem himself in the eyes of the general public.

For Odom’s sake, I hope he takes a few steps back and decides to release an apology and buy these men new camera equipment. He has the money and fighting it out in court seems like an incredible waste of time, even if they were invading his privacy or being d-bags.

Many Dallas Mavericks fans feel Lamar Odom duped owner Mark Cuban out of millions this season by never fully investing in his new team. That may be true, but somehow, that still seems preferable to being duped out of thousands by a fake Lamar Odom in a complicated and shady scheme.

That’s the position A League Of Their Own director and noted Lakers fan Penny Marshall is in after she got hoodwinked by some dude claiming to be Lamar’s assistant. According to TMZ, the mystery man approached the former Laverne and Shirley star during a game last month, claiming to be Lamar’s assistant. He gave her the forward’s number, and the two reportedly texted for a few days before bizarro Lamar asked Penny to give his fake assistant five grand to take care of some things. Penny did as she was told, but when “Lamar” suddenly stopped answering her texts, she approached the real Odom and found out he doesn’t have an assistant.

In response, she filed a police report detailing the scheme, and the LAPD has supposedly begun a full grand theft investigation. Given the amount of money involved, potential charges against the imposter should prove very serious if he’s ever caught. Even if he’s not, five grand to never be able to go to another Lakers game seems like a horrible trade off considering Penny will no doubt sound the alarm if she ever sees him again.

Driving might be the worst decision one can make while texting, but loaning money probably isn’t far behind.

Say what you will about the Kardashian family, Khloe is one badass lady. She’s one of the few celebrities who does not scream “all about me” or “batshit crazy” on reality television, and she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She’s the one Kardashian sister in a stable marriage, she always defends her sister with fortitude and poise when something happens she feels is unjust, and she sort of keeps the ties between her family members from coming unraveled. Despite her other two sisters being more prominent, I wholeheartedly believe Khloe Kardashian would be the best of the bunch to befriend.

Which is why it does not surprise me when, a week after Kardashian and her hubby Lamar Odom announced a hiatus from their reality program on E!, Khloe and Lamar, they are also coming out and speaking about their devotion to each other and trying to settle down and focus on family.

According to US Magazine, a big concern during the couples’ tenure away from reality TV is focusing on trying to have a family. Because Kardashian recently went on The Talk to discuss wanting to have a family but being hindered by a busy schedule, it is really no surprise with a break from the spotlight, the two would want to give having a baby together a go. I’m sure any child of there’s will be cute, but seriously, how friggen’ tall would that child be?

It seems like it’s been months now since we first started hearing rumors of a Khloe Kardashian/ Lamar Odom reality show, though it was hard to tell whether the gossip sprung from actual discussions with E! or just logical assumptions. In fact, many casual viewers probably already assumed the couple had their own show, but really, they’re more supporting characters on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Think of it like Happy Days, at least when it comes to Lamar. He’s Chachi. He might have shown up quite a bit on the original, but Happy Days was still Richie’s show. Then he got Joanie Loves Chachi--that was his show. Now it’s Lamar’s turn.

According to US Weekly, the new reality show is a go. As of now it’s still untitled, but you’ve gotta admit, Khloe Loves Lamar has a certain ring to it. Whatever it’s called, it’ll start shooting in March which probably means it’ll be prepped and ready for a run during the summer or sooner. If they’re going to address the ups and downs of Lamar’s play with the Lakers, it’ll need a quick turn around, but if they’re going to ignore his job and make it all new shower curtain conversations, time is less of a factor.

Let me be the first to say I support this new show more than I’ve ever supported anything Kardashian related. Lamar is a laid back, affable guy, and Khloe is far and away more watchable than the other sisters. Short of Bruce Jenner getting his own spin-off, this is probably the best we’ll ever do.
