Landman is arguably one of the biggest shows on Paramount+ right now, and while the series is creeping up on its Season 2 finale on the 2026 TV schedule, there is much more on the way. The Taylor Sheridan drama has already been renewed for Season 3, meaning there is no end in sight. This also means that the show will continue bringing in viewers and fans, including famous fans. And Martha Stewart had an iconic way of telling one of Landman's stars, Ali Larter, that she’s a fan.

Since Landman’s debut in 2024, the series has become quite a hit. It’s not so much of a surprise, since it comes from Sheridan, who is behind the massive Yellowstone franchise and other hit shows. Still, Larter, who plays Angela Norris, told TV Insider how crazy the response has been and how her run-in with Stewart, who was more than excited to see her, proved that:

Knowing that someone like Martha Stewart is one of those people who stays up until the episode of your show drops has to be a pretty great feeling. Not many people probably have had the chance to say that they were told by Stewart how big a fan she is, and it really proves how special a show Landman is. And now I can't stop thinking about Stewart staying up until midnight to watch new episodes going into Season 3.

Meanwhile, it’s not so much of a surprise that Martha Stewart is a fan of Landman, as she has proven to be a fan of a variety of things and be friends with a variety of people. From having smoked pot with Snoop Dogg to even getting asked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s much-anticipated nuptials, and much more, she is not afraid to show her support, no matter what it’s for.

Perhaps the only thing that would make her love of Landman better would be an appearance. As previously mentioned, the series is coming back for a third season. Maybe Stewart could cameo, whether as herself or as a character, but either way, it would be entertaining. I bet she'd be more than happy to, too. For now, fans will just have to wait and see if that happens, but the Season 2 finale drops on Sunday for those with a Paramount+ subscription.

For many people celebrating the holidays, sports are a big part of their annual tradition, whether that’s seeing Shaq crash into a Christmas tree during one of the NBA’s offerings or taking in an NFL game. Netflix has gotten into the NFL holiday spirit for the past couple of years, and fans had some big feelings about Snoop Dogg’s halftime show during the matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings.

Netflix showed what it was capable of as far as NFL halftime shows go last year, when its “Beyoncé Bowl” went off without a hitch. This time around, Snoop Dogg headlined the “Holiday Halftime Party,” which featured other artists from all musical genres in a Christmas-themed show that included an orchestra, a choir and lots of dancers for a performance that was widely praised by those with a Netflix subscription. One fan wrote:

I had pretty much the same takeaway after watching the performance, saying that the caliber and variety of musicians, as well as the energy projected by all involved, rivaled any Super Bowl Halftime Show in recent memory. (Snoop Dogg knows a thing or two about that, anyway, having been part of a historic Halftime Show back in 2022.)

It’s really hard to please a universal audience in these types of situations, and I can’t say I ever expected to see a trio of ballerinas dancing across the stage to the intro of Snoop Dogg’s “Nuthin' but a G'thang.” But somehow it all really, really worked, and fans couldn’t stop posting about it on social media, saying:

In addition to some of the classics by the D-O-double G, Snoop welcomed the Huntr/x singers from KPop Demon Hunters, whose shortened rendition of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” gave them the opportunity to sing a line from their Golden Globe-nominated hit “Golden” when they reached the “Five golden rings” portion of the song.

Snoop Dogg’s longtime friend Martha Stewart opened and closed the show, which also featured Christmas carols from country music singer Lainey Wilson, Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo. Dov Kleiman called it “one of the greatest performances of all time, writing:

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement nearly a month ago, and many people are still abuzz about their English teacher and gym teacher tying the knot. While Swift is busy with upcoming projects, including her new album The Life of a Showgirl, and Kelce is busy with football, that isn’t stopping people from getting excited about it. This includes none other than Martha Stewart, and her getting asked about the wedding was not on my 2025 Bingo card.

Many celebrities reacted to Swift and Kelce’s engagement, which was the engagement heard around the world. The topic has been brought up a lot over the last few weeks, including during an interview Stewart did with Entertainment Tonight. She gave the happy couple a sweet message, but also couldn’t help but to hope that they hire her to plan the whole thing. And I have to give her props for it:

I’m not sure exactly how Swift and Kelce's relationship was brought up, but I absolutely love Stewart’s take on the wedding, and either trying to score an invite or trying to score a job. Of course, it’s not like she needs a job since she’s Martha Stewart, but her response is hilarious regardless.

When asked what she thinks the wedding could look like, Stewart had some ideas, but she noted that they would more than likely keep the ceremony lowkey, which wouldn’t be surprising one bit:

There have already been rumors as to what Swift and Kelce want for their wedding, or who could be invited and not invited. With both of them as busy as ever, it’s likely the wedding is the least of their worries, but that hasn’t stopped people from speculating what could happen or what the party favors could be. Stewart was asked if the couple could be bringing in some football motifs, and she had an interesting idea:

Whether or not Martha Stewart will have any involvement in the Tayvis wedding is unknown, but she certainly seems to have some ideas, so who knows? Even though it may seem a bit out there for Stewart to be invited to the wedding or even throw around ideas for it, she is friends with Snoop Dogg, so it’s not so out of the question. Plus, Stewart apparently has her own Christmas tree farm, so that just connects her to Swift even more, since she grew up on a Christmas tree farm.

Meanwhile, the wedding is still probably far off, so don’t expect any wedding bells any time soon. However, it seems more and more celebrities are putting in their two cents, and I can’t wait to see which one is next to share their thoughts on it.

But as Meghan Markle created her own lifestyle Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, Stewart was asked how she felt about the Duchess of Sussex shifting into lifestyle, and she didn’t hold back.

Meghan Markle’s first steps into lifestyle started with her blog The Tig, which ran from 2014 to 2017. After creating her cooking brand As Ever, the Suits alum headlined her 2025 Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, where she shared her personal tips and how-tos on cooking, gardening, and hosting.

In May, Martha Stewart took the high road and didn’t bother answering about Meghan Markle allegedly copying her. With Yahoo! Lifestyle, on the other hand, the American businesswoman decided not to hold back her answer when asked the same question:

Well, Meghan Markle did show off a unique way of cooking pasta on her Netflix show that had mixed reactions. While some were scratching their heads seeing the former actress pour boiling water over dried pasta, others felt the one-pot pasta recipe was really good. That said, even though she can be considered royalty when it comes to home design and food preparation, a real-life Duchess has entered the game with a show of her own available with a Netflix subscription, and Stewart recently took the high road when offered the opportunity for blunt thoughts on Meghan Markle.

On May 28, Martha Stewart took the stage for an In Conversation presentation in Sydney, Australia, and the event was listed as one that would include Stewart's reflections on her career, the evolution of her brand, what's necessary to remain relevant for 40+ years, and more. Not on the docket? Questions about controversies involving Meghan Markle. According to Daily Mail, Stewart was asked for her thoughts on Markle's viral jams anyway, and to her credit, the lifestyle legend didn't rise to what could have been a sore subject after a previous pasta controversy. She responded:

Credit to Martha Stewart, because any commentary on Megan Markle would likely overshadow anything she had to say about her career at the event. While this other factor may not have played into her decision, not commenting may have also spared the Duchess of Sussex even more negativity. Plus, it's not like Stewart has any connection to Markle's jams or the As Ever brand.

For background, Markle's As Ever line of jams, teas, and mixes went on sale on April 2, followed by the announcement shortly after they they'd sold out in "less than an hour." The Instagram announcement ended with "stay tuned and follow along for future updates 💕," but there seemingly have been no further updates about a restock.

There is a jam-free reason why Martha Stewart and Meghan Markle's names have been connected over controversy during the 2025 TV schedule, and it goes back to the memorable pasta episode of With Love, Megan on Netflix. While some viewers were aghast at how she made a spaghetti dish with all the ingredients in one pot, others noticed some similarities between the Duchess' recipe and one from Martha Stewart.

While similarities between pasta recipes might not seem like too big of a deal, Stewart's February update seemingly added "The original and best!" to the description. Of course, that was almost exactly one month before the premiere of With Love, Megan, so it seems that the change was either a coincidence or a sign that Stewart got an early tip about similar spaghetti. As far as I'm concerned, that sounds like a pretty big conspiracy for something relatively minor, but I'm also not lifestyle (or real-life) royalty with a Netflix production.

Markle has certainly gotten her share of criticism for With Love, Meghan without Martha Stewart being brought into the mix. A name-correction moment involving Mindy Kaling went viral, rumors circulated of tension with Gwyneth Paltrow (although those were debunked), and she even got backlash for her Le Creuset cookware.

Stewart of course knows about facing criticism in the spotlight. The Martha documentary looked back on the media frenzy surrounding her trial for fraud, and the doc even contains scenes that she'd told filmmaker R.J. Cutler to cut.

Will the comparisons between the two women ever stop? It's hard to say with any certainty, but one thing is for sure: Martha Stewart didn't let Meghan Markle's jams derail her recent presentation.

We are dangerously close to what the school kids would call “summer break” and celebrities are already busting out their fair weather costumes. For Kim Kardashian, that meant a teeny-weeny black bikini, but in the case of Alexandra Daddario, I did not have a dress shaped like cotton candy on my bingo card. The post comes just a few months after Alexandra Daddario and her partner Andrew Form seemingly left Los Angeles for New York. The actress recently opened up about the move. She didn’t disclose the date for her big cross country jaunt, though she put her LA home on the market back in August of 2024, selling it for $2.9 million in November of last year. That was shortly after she and her partner celebrated the birth of their little one on Halloween.

She told Vogue she’s spent the last few months “falling in love” with the city again.

Though it’s worth noting Daddario was originally a born and raised New York resident before moving out to Los Angeles for her acting career, her latest post seems to be a reflection of the changes coming down the pipeline in her life. She's not the only celebrity to leave Los Angeles and head closer to home in recent years either, joining the likes of Florence Pugh (who lives in London now) and Chris Hemsworth (who has discussed why he left LA for his native Australia).

While New York may be her new home base, it should be noted she’ll need to return to New Orleans while she shoots Mayfair Witches Season 3, after AMC confirmed the renewal was coming down the pipeline amidst a slew of 2025 cancelations. Hopefully that will mean more traveling, and more fun posts (with or without cows).

I think most Amazon Prime Video users were at least mildly annoyed when the streaming service introduced ads a few months ago. While there is an option to pay more monthly to cut ads, I can’t imagine a large swathe of people with an Amazon Prime subscription are taking the streaming service up on it. Yes, the ads are annoying, and yes they are bumming me out in general, but the piece that is really pissing me off is probably not what you’d guess.

Look, I won’t lie, I was minorly irritated when Amazon added ads to its streaming content. I suppose the blatant push for profit on a service I know only exists as an ad-on to Amazon’s Prime shipping piece was not really a huge shock; it was probably coming sometime, but it got worse when Amazon then upped the number of ads and then threw those ads into the middle of some of its original big budget fare. I’m talking like six ads several times in the middle of some of its original programs.

But to be honest, I expect this in the current landscape we’re living in, and given Red One’s low box office returns, maybe it is what the service needs to survive and pay for its upcoming 2025 schedule projects. So whatever, ads are here, and that piece is what it is. If it bothered me that much I could cut the ads by paying an upcharge per month, which is an option. However, that’s not actually the piece that grinds my gears; the worst part is that somehow the streaming service still hasn’t figured out how to deliver a wide variety of ads.

Why Amazon Prime Video’s Ads Make Me Want To Literally Pull My Hair Out

The major problem I have with Amazon is not that it is forcing ads on Prime Video subscribers, it's because those ads have a tendency to be extremely repetitive. For example, during a recent viewing, the “limited interruptions” I saw repetitively were an Amazon ad, a Geico Q&A ad, a Ford Defender ad, a Metro T-mobile ad focusing on Apple products, A Dell AI ad (that I honestly didn’t see coming), and another for Prime Video featuring Martha Stewart.

Then do you know what happened? I saw most of them again, and again and again. To be honest, none of these ads are bad in and of themselves. Some ads in 2024 are still kind of funny, and the Geico one is among them. Plus the Defender ad capably shows its off-road capability, and I can always pretty much get behind Martha Stewart, but there’s nothing more infuriating than seeing the same ads repetitively. And throwing in the occasional new ad but upping the ante to 7 ads in a row instead of six didn't really improve my goodwill at all.

In fact, here’s a shortlist of recent projects on Amazon Prime I’ve been avoiding watching simply because I’d prefer a streaming service with less repetitive ads. (Or, you know, no ads.)

• Drive Away Dolls
• The Boys Season 4
• Cross

I don’t want to sit here and tout the benefits of cable, because the way cable worked for a long time didn’t make sense. Loyal customers who stuck with services for years were nickel and dimed and continually upcharged for packages. (And now the same thing is happening with costs on streamers like YouTube TV.) Meanwhile we got more channels we didn’t want and more ads per hour as the years went by. This system sucked. I see why people wanted to disrupt it. The one place where cable is superior though is that it has figured out how to sell a wide variety of (often) high-quality ads.

Look, I get it. Other streaming services with ads have a similar problem. A lack of ad variety is a consistent problem on platforms like Hulu, and I think I could probably write a similar story with a few other streaming platforms in mind.

Still, given how much Amazon has upped its ads compared to other services, and given how repetitive its ad stack is, it’s enough that Santa maybe should have put the service on the naughty list.

It's far to say Ryan Reynolds is known for his funny guy reputation in Hollywood. He shares hilariously sarcastic posts about his married life with Blake Lively, is clever in interviews and notably stars in major Hollywood comedies. However, recently lifestyle icon Martha Stewart threw a wrench in this reputation, claiming Reynolds isn’t as funny in real life as his public persona may suggest. Now, the Deadpool actor is opening up about these comments and making a "serious" point about Hollywood personas and his approach to criticism.

While speaking to THR, the Canadian actor discussed being a prolific producer in Hollywood as well as what interests him creatively. He also got candid about the media's perception of him and handling criticism while being a leader in the business. Talk eventually turned to Martha Stewart’s public comments, which led to a lot of speculation on social media that Ryan Reynolds’ keen sense of humor may be all for the cameras. The actor said he took the whole thing in stride, explaining how this kind of commentary is just all part of the job:

The actor also partially agreed with Martha Stewart’s observation -- that with being on camera comes a certain level of performance. He also gave the former talk show host grace for her comments while explaining why he understands where the commentary came from:

This makes a lot of sense, especially considering how people in general may respond to different social situations. Some individuals are more outgoing in big groups than they are one-on-one and vice versa. If you add a camera in the mix, there's an inherent responsibility to appear likable and relatable to the general public. It’s a strange situation to be in, and Ryan Reynolds responding to this pressure with humor makes a lot of sense. Of course, not every situation in life is well suited for a quip or funny commentary, and it would be unfair to pressure someone, even a celebrity, to respond a certain way.

Even though there's a natural explanation for Martha Stewart's take on Ryan Reynolds, at least one of the Red Notice star’s friends still quickly came to his defense. Hugh Jackman jokingly agreed with Stewart at first. However, he later stated that his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star was even more hilarious in his personal life. The two actors likely have known each other longer than Stewart (who's Reynolds' neighbor) has, so maybe her comments should just be taken with a grain of salt.

In short, it can be said that people contain multitudes. So it’s understandable that someone with as much business success as the Adam Project star could be both serious and funny at the same time.

Known for her amazing card displays, Stewart also planted her own Christmas tree farm so she could pick the best tree – and she has advice.

Martha Stewart recently talked about her tree farm during a segment for CBS News Sunday Morning. The star revealed that she planted this large stock of magnificent-looking trees in 2009 and, at the time, she planted about 609 of them. (Yeah, that’s the number she provided.) During the segment, Stewart also provided a sweet rundown of the pros and cons of certain trees and specifically highlighted the needle-centric Blue Spruce, Eastern White Pine (which has branches that are good for wreaths), the scented Balsam Fir and more.

During the video, the e-commerce giant went on to discuss how many tree aficionados have different tastes. She also shared one of the best parts of having a vast array of tree options to pick from:

It’s definitely on brand for Martha Stewart to have her own farm specifically for Christmas trees, given how much she commits to holidays and decorating. However, the notion of her doing so much to achieve that perfect tree every year is still somewhat wild to me. Part of that may be because I grew up in a household that utilized artificial trees (complete with pre-strung lights) were utilized. Martha Stewart also said she would have liked it if the Netflix documentary touched on more about what made her magazine “Martha Stewart Living” so special like its photography, food glossaries, the special touch she put in her food, and more. Not to mention, the television personality also felt Martha focused “way too much time” on her 2004 trial and prison time which Stewart said was a very small chapter of her 83 years of living.

It appears that Martha Stewart wished R.J. Cutler’s Netflix documentary could have had a stronger emphasis on how the challenges she went through didn’t stop her from keeping up her many ventures. Further touching on Martha’s final scenes, Stewart explained why specifically she had a problem with the film showing her limping in her garden:

Despite the setbacks Martha Stewart went through, she has still made amazing comebacks in her eventful life. After her five-month prison sentence (related to insider trading), Stewart still launched new ventures like The Martha Stewart Show and Martha Stewart’s Cooking School. She also reinvented her brand to appeal to younger audiences, partnering up with Snoop Dogg to create their new show Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner. When print media transitioned to digital, the Golden Plate Award winner partnered with eBay to create the American Made Martha Stewart online store to help grow the businesses of over 400 American vendors.

After Martha Stewart was a bit of a hater about the second half of Martha, Netflix reportedly wasn’t too pleased with her critiques. Especially considering the streaming service flew her out to the Telluride Film Festival through a private jet. This certainly raises the question of whether a future collaboration between the two will ever happen again.

Even though Martha Stewart wanted R.J. Cutler “to get rid” of certain scenes in Martha, she said she still liked the first half of the documentary. She liked it showed events in her life that people may not have known about and she enjoyed the positive reactions she got from young women in response.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds’ faux feud has provided fans with plenty of entertainment over the years. More recently, it took a funny turn, thanks to Martha Stewart. The other week, Stewart claimed that Reynolds – who’s her neighbor – is “not so funny” in real life. Reynolds shared an A+ response (unsurprisingly), and those comments were met with a cheeky reply from Jackman. While the Logan actor’s quip suggested that he agreed with Stewart, comments he made months ago revealed that he does think Reynolds is funny.

For context, Martha Stewart made her initial comments when she appeared on the Rent Free game show and weighed in on a poll regarding celebrities who are thought to be the most fun to hang out with. When Ryan Reynolds was mentioned, said he’s “very serious” in real life and that “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny.” Sometime later, Reynolds took to social media to say that he’d “disagree” with Stewart but that he “tried that once.” As he joked, the media personality “is unexpectedly spry” and “really closed the gap after a mile or so.”

Hugh Jackman then commented on his frenemy’s response by simply saying, “finally someone says it.” While it was a great one-liner from the Greatest Showman alum, you probably shouldn’t read into it too deeply. That’s because months ago, Jackman shared some warm thoughts in regard to his pal’s level of humor. While promoting their 2024 movie release, Deadpool & Wolverine, the two co-leads caught up with GQ to take their friendship quiz. When asked about one thing fans would be surprised to know about his co-star, Jackman said:

When the two actors are doing press or chatting via social media, there are only a handful of instances in which the Jackson/Reynolds feud is put aside. It’s, of course, obvious that the two actors are actually friends, yet it’s always sweet whenever one of them compliments the other. It’s honestly also hard to disagree with the Real Steel star’s assessment of his friend’s comedic chops. Though we, as fans, don’t get to spend personal time with the Proposal actor, his appearances on talk shows (and the GQ segment from YouTube) seem to back up his humor.

The sheer level of closeness that’s on display in the aforementioned video is likely a major reason why Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are reteaming for another movie. Reynolds recently revealed that he’s spending the year writing the movie, which will apparently not be a Marvel-based flick. The Canadian star also confirmed that the intention is for D&W director Shawn Levy – who’s worked with both leading men on several occasions – to helm the flick.

So, whenever that production comes to fruition, I’d expect that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds will share more than a few laughs on set. As a fan, I’m glad that these two are buddies and enjoy each other’s sense of humor. Let’s hope it shines through in their upcoming movie as well. (And, after this recent “not so funny” brouhaha, can Martha Stewart please have a cameo?)

Martha Stewart is making headlines again, and not just for reasons like her claim that Ryan Reynolds is "not so funny in real life" or even Hugh Jackman's cheeky response. The documentary about her life, called Martha, has debuted as one of the 2024 Netflix movie And TV show releases. In the section of the doc about the trial that sent Stewart to federal prison for fraud, she claimed that a journalist who'd covered her trial was "dead." The very-much-alive reporter fired back to clarify that reports of her death were greatly exaggerated.

In the Martha documentary (available streaming now with a Netflix subscription), Martha Stewart went on a slight tangent while recounting when the guilty verdict was read back in 2004. She said:

Well, "New York Post lady" – a.k.a. longtime NYP columnist Andrea Peyser – is definitely not dead, and it's not clear where Martha Stewart got her information or why the mistake wasn't caught before the documentary went live on Netflix. In a New York Post column about the doc's claim of her demise, Peyser wrote that "Two decades later, she’s still fantasizing about (plotting?) my grisly demise," and "News of my passing came as a shock."

That's far from all that she said after finding out about the comments from Martha Stewart in her Netflix production. Peyser summed up the situation in her own words, opining:

The journalist went on to sum up the movie with her own take, describing it as "about the life and crimes, hissy fits, grudges, vendettas and remorseless misbehavior of the New Jersey-born model-turned-stockbroker, then internationally celebrated purveyor of homemaker porn."

Considering that Martha Stewart is best known in recent years for developments ranging from her friendship with Snoop Dogg to posing wearing nothing but an apron for a viral video, the Martha documentary will likely make her trial and conviction from two decades ago relevant again.

At the time of writing, Martha is ranking at #3 on Netflix's Top 10 movies. Something tells me that Andrea Peyser would be unimpressed by the doc's popularity, as she also included this extra hot take in her column:

Despite the journalist's fiery response to the claim that she was dead in Martha, the movie is clearly doing well to rank at #3 on Netflix's Top 10 more than a week after its release on October 30. After all, with the sheer amount of content available on the streamer, the popularity of a given project can rise and then fall very quickly. Now, if all that wasn’t enough, Hugh Jackman – who has a faux rivalry with Reynolds – entered the chat. And, of course, he reacted with a cheeky, four-word response.

Ryan Reynolds responded to his neighbor’s comments – which were shared on the Free Rent game show – by way of a post he shared to X. The witty actor mused that he’d “disagree” with her but that he “tried that once.” He went on to joke that “the woman is unexpectedly spry” and that “she really closed the gap after a mile or so.” Hugh Jackman happened to see comments and directly replied to his fellow Deadpool & Wolverine cast member with this humorously blunt sentiment:

Those who are aware of the Reynolds/Jackman dynamic shouldn’t be at all surprised by this funny turn of events. For years now, the two actors have thrown jabs at each other for one reason or another, and it doesn’t matter what the occasion is. A few years ago, Jackman used Mother’s Day as an occasion to take a funny shot at his frenemy, for example. And Reynolds even delivered a feud-worthy comment on Earth Day a few years back. (Yeah, there are two guys who have all the jokes).

Considering all of that, it was probably inevitable that that Greatest Showman star would have something funny to say about his buddy supposedly being unfunny. It never ceases to amaze how both of the Marvel actors never miss a cue when it comes to situations like these. What this latest viral moment highlights is the great relationship between the two men, who met years ago while working on X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Their chemistry was on full display in their hit 2024 movie release Deadpool & Wolverine. After years of waiting, fans were finally able to see Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson join forces with Hugh Jackman’s Logan. Based on the positive reception to the film, some may agree that the highly anticipated team-up was well worth the wait. The flick was as funny, violent, profane and heartwarming as a fan could hope for. One would think that Disney was happy with how it all turned out, too, given that the movie went on to become a billion-dollar Marvel hit.

I have to say that after Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds embarked upon their entertaining (and sometimes wild) press tour, I never imagined that I’d be talking about them and Martha Stewart in the same breath. That doesn’t mean I don’t find the whole “not so funny” situation amusing, though. If anything, now I’m curious as to whether Stewart may chime in with a response to both of their comments. She's quite funny herself and could surely respond with a playful one-liner.

The 83-year-old media personality shared her assessment of the Free Guy star while appearing on an installment of the Rent Free game show. During the show, Martha Stewart participated in a round that posed the question of the top three celebrities would be the most fun to hang out with. Stewart correctly guessed Snoop Dogg and Ryan Reynolds as two entries, while Taylor Swift was confirmed to have the top spot. Despite the fact that Stewart picked Reynolds, she also shared the following sentiments:

It’s not out of the ordinary for the businesswoman to be blunt when speaking on a topic. She is, after all, the same person who was flown by Netflix to the premiere of her documentary only to call it “lazy” later on. Based on her comments about her neighbor, she wasn’t trying to be mean towards her neighbor but merely sought to be honest. She even threw a bit of praise towards the Deadpool & Wolverine cast member later in the segment. Yet she shared more honest thoughts on how funny he is when he’s not on camera:

Some may be surprised by the notion of Ryan Reynolds not being so hilarious in his personal life. Of course, his humor is also part of his persona, and it’s fair to say that an actor surely isn’t “on” all the time. With that said, though, it’s hard to imagine the actor not cracking any kind of jokes when he’s around his neighbors or other people in his orbit. It was probably only a matter of time before he saw the Martha Stewart Show alum’s assessment and, when reacting to the news on X, he shared a quip:

Well, now, I can’t stop visualizing a confrontation between Ryan Reynolds and Martha Stewart like the one described above. (Seriously, the thought of them fighting against a suburban backdrop is just too funny.) But, again, I’d say that a comment like this adds to Reynolds’ credibility as a funny person. It should be noted that he does open up about serious topics from time to time. Back in 2021, Reynolds discussed his lifelong struggle with mental health, as he was prompted to speak out about his anxiety by a desire to de-stigmatize such topics and serve as a firm role model for his kids. That aside, though, comedy just seems to run through his veins.

So are we headed for another faux celebrity feud? Probably not (so you don’t have to worry yourself at all, Hugh Jackman.) The mere fact that Ryan Reynolds didn’t respond with any kind of true animosity towards Martha Stewart would seem to indicate that he doesn’t take the comments personally. If anything, this all just amounts to an intriguing back-and-forth between two stars and, quite frankly, I’m here for it.

Martha Stewart may be a master when it comes to cooking, but I did not have this beef with The Golden Bachelorette on my Bingo card (menu?) this week. Stewart had a pretty harsh response when asked if she’d ever consider starring on ABC’s reality dating spinoff, and her blunt words didn’t sit well with Joan Vassos, who is the current star of the series on the 2024 TV schedule. In fact, Vassos said she even DM’d the lifestyle expert, asking, “What’s wrong with you, Martha?”

When Andy Cohen asked Stewart if she would take the opportunity to look for love on The Golden Bachelorette, the home and garden expert said:

Whoa there, Martha! Look, guys, no respect to the queen, but this is the same Martha Stewart who didn’t fully shoot down the possibility of dating Pete Davidson. And The Golden Bachelorette cast isn’t good enough? She clearly missed Jonathan Rone’s Chippendales performance:

Joan Vassos Gets Chippy In Defense Of Her Suitors

The Golden Bachelorette is tasked with eliminating all but one of the guys by the end of this inaugural season, but regardless of who puts a ring on Vassos’ finger, this experience has resulted in real friendships and feelings between her and many of the guys. So when asked if she’d heard Martha Stewart’s comment, Vassos revealed she’d already reached out, telling Access Hollywood:

Although Martha Stewart’s words likely were just in jest and not intended to offend anyone, I love Joan Vassos going to bat for her cast. She said not only were her suitors good-looking, they were good people, too. Vassos continued:

Fans really did start to fall in love with The Golden Bachelorette cast immediately, with fan favorite Charles Ling and Jack Lencioni going viral for their hilarious appraisal of Bachelor Mansion. and it's been wonderful in the weeks that followed to see the brotherhood they've all formed and hear their stories.

Joan Vassos said she’s “waiting for a response" from Martha Stewart, and I’m really interested to see if she gets one. That was some low-key shade — not just at the guys, but at Vassos as well. In Stewart’s defense, though, I’ve got no problem with her knowing her worth and the kind of man she wants. This is a woman who shoots videos wearing nothing but an apron and looks good enough in her 80s to grace Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit cover. Get yours, Martha!

When it comes to projects whose entire purpose is to document real people and events, Netflix can be rather hit or miss, whether it’s unscripted docs or dramatized stories. And it sounds like the upcoming Netflix release centering on Martha Stewart, which will hit the 2024 TV schedule in October, will fall into those same trappings, and the streaming service reportedly isn’t happy about the iconic homemaker taking shots at the project after flying her out to the premiere.

Martha Stewart's Criticisms About The Netflix Documentary

While speaking at the 2024 Retail Influencer CEO Forum (held Sept. 10) for a panel moderated by The Daily Beast, Martha Stewart complimented the first half of the film, but had more critical thoughts about the second half, which reportedly centers largely on her 2004 conviction and legal issues. After calling the project out for being "lazy," she explained one reason for her opinions, which ties back to an interview with ousted FBI director James Comey. As she put it:

Noting that she did not expect to have any overarching say over the final edit, Stewart did address the reported existence of her collaboration contract with director R.J. Cutler, which she assumed would allow her to question or argue against certain choices. And it doesn't sound like things were very collaborative at all, as she claims Cutler "wouldn't change anything" in response to her objections.

The 83-year-old occasional sex symbol also called the documentary out for not shining a light on all of the people she's worked with over the years that were a big part of turning her into a household name. In her words:

Martha Stewart kicked it all off by noting that she doesn't usually speak publicly about things she doesn't approve of, given it's not the best approach to business, but she still felt comfortable taking the upcoming Netflix doc down a peg.

Netflix Execs Are Reportedly Upset After Setting Her Up With Private Plane

Stewart's comments have apparently not been welcomed so kindly by the Netflix suits that helped bring the documentary to life. According to Page Six, the foul feelings are tied to the service having flown the author and host out to the doc's Telluride Film Festival premiere at the end of August. Oh, but not on a commercial airline or anything, but rather a private plane.

Though Martha Stewart played ball at the festival Q&A and spoke positively enough about the project, her later negative comments have allegedly drawn ire from those who presumably put the private plane plan into action. According to Page Six's insider:

Clearly, Netflix can afford to send just about anybody anywhere in whatever vehicle is desired, but the idea here presumably isn't strictly tied to the funds, but rather the idea that they brought Stewart out to the festival in style, only to have her crap on the project after the fact.

R.J. Cutler has another high-profile documentary on the way centering on Elton John, which premiered a week after Martha at the Toronto International Film Festival. Like Stewart, John was on hand for a Q&A and talked about it positively enough, though it remains to be seen if the Grammy winner will share different thoughts in later interviews.

Netflix is currently under a bit of fire for Ryan Murphy's Monsters: The Erik And Lyle Menendez Story, which harsh comments from show subject Erik Menendez, whose critiques more or less echo those who railed on Murphy & Co. for fictionalizing events in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which notably caused problems for victims’ family members for having to relive the events all over again in a far more public eye.

Martha likely won't have that kind of impact when it drops, but it could certainly factor into whether or not Stewart works with the studio in the future. It's set to premiere for those with Netflix subscriptions on Wednesday, October 30, just a day before Halloween.

With a career that spanned 70 years, Tony Bennett earned innumerable accolades including a whopping 20 Grammy wins. Even if it wasn’t the meatiest of Bennett's many film and TV cameos, it still opened the door for others to follow in his crooning footsteps.

In a callback to a similar performance devoted to Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, Midler sings “Wind Beneath My Wings” to Krusty, which is quite the surreal (and unearned) sight.

While Sports Illustrated is a publication that’s been going strong for decades, some of its most iconic covers have come from the annual Swimsuit Issue. This year there were four cover models including Megan Fox and Martha Stewart, both of whom stunned in their respective photo shoots. It turns out that Fox didn’t even have to prep for her cover, and I’m honestly impressed. I guess there’s a reason she played the lead character of Jennifer’s Body.

Megan Fox has been making countless headlines lately due to her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, although she’s been keeping busy professionally. On top of appearing in the upcoming movie the Expendables 4, she also broke the internet thanks to shooting the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She was asked by Extra TV about her prep for this cover, and it turns out that she didn’t need to do much. And I’m impressed by her constant focus on fitness. As the New Girl actress shared:

Talk about dedication. While many of us would be hitting the gym extra or dieting before modeling in a swimsuit for an opportunity like Sports Illustrated, Megan Fox seemingly didn’t have to. Mostly because she’s already a fitness pro who tries to live on a clean nutritionary diet. Plus, she doesn’t have any vices that might otherwise affect her physique. Maybe I need to take a page from her book.

Fox’s comments to Extra show just how seriously she takes her fitness journey all year round. It’s an impressive feat, considering the amount of hours in the gym and clean eating that she’s committed to. While many of us may go in and out of being dedicated, the Transformers icon is making her body a temple 24/7. And the results are definitely on display for her Sports Illustrated images.

As previously mentioned, Fox shared the honor of being a cover model with three other women, including 81 year-old Martha Stewart. The lifestyle guru and TV personality appeared on Today shortly after her cover was revealed, and told a very different story. Stewart actually prepared for the shoot for months, sharing she got the offer:

Those are two very different experiences, ones that are no doubt informed by the age difference between Fox and Stewart. But they proved that age is just a number, as they both looked gorgeous on their respective Sports Illustrated covers. Even if Megan Fox did far less prep than her colleague.

As previously mentioned, the Jennifer’s Body actress continues to make headlines related to her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly. It looks like the celebrity couple is still trying to work on things, although the status of their engagement remains unclear. Luckily Fox didn’t have to prep for Sports Illustrated, especially as her focus might have been on her personal life.

Though her continued fame and appeal may be tied largely to crafting tasty meals in the kitchen and coming up with crafty home aesthetics, Martha Stewart often seems like the kind of celeb who can pull off anything she so desires and then some. Case in point: the 81-year-old entrepreneur recently made headlines and caused double-takes as part of Sports Illustrated’s latest swimsuit-geared issue (which also featured Megan Fox and other headline-makers), and then almost immediately followed that up by promoting a wearable wellness device used almost exclusively by senior citizens. That dichotomy led to a fun exchange between the homemaking queen and an observant fan. 

Stewart certainly held her own, so to speak, when appearing as one of several cover models for Sports Illustrated’s latest swimsuit issue, looking stylish and sexy and perhaps distanced from one’s traditional expectations for anyone at 81 years old. Which made it all the more amusing when she started going harder on ad-based Instagram posts focusing on the Silvertree Reach bracelet and its “built-in fall protection.” The aforementioned fan chimed into the comments with the following reflection:

Honestly, I’m trying to think of either a comedic or realistic comparison to bring up here, and it’s kind of difficult. Maybe like if one of the best Fortnite players was also in an AARP commercial? Literal babies selling Werthers Originals from their cribs? Those are terrible examples. 

In any case, Martha Stewart made sure to drop in a response comment to @markrandall’s thoughts by taking a jab at his word choice. 

Not sure if that was just a weird typo, or if Martha Stewart was displaying her inner Pauly Shore there, bu-u-u-uddy. In any case, she's technically correct, even though the product's own website is geared heavily toward "active seniors" and the like. One could probably split (silver) hairs, however, over one term being applicable while the other isn't. But that's a discussion for another time when we aren't talking about swimsuits and tech wearables.

Will Stewart combine those two ideas for whatever her next business venture is? I can picture it now: smart swimsuits that can track users' swimming progression and calorie loss, measure UV rays, and also send alerts out in case of an emergency. Then Sports Illustrated can have one issue devoted completely to the future=leaning swimwear, with like a Jetsons theming or something. Somebody should probably invent the thing before we start worrying about theming, though.

Martha Stewart shared some other bracelet-specific posts on Instagram, including the one below, which implies that the Silvertree wearable will somehow keep her safe from coyotes. At least fake ones. 

Amidst her ad-heavy posting, Stewart also honored her longtime friendship with Snoop Dogg with a post pointing fans to their themed two-pack of 19 Crimes wine, with his Cali Red paired with her Martha's Chard. Drink both of them, and accidental falls may indeed be part of the nightly festivities.

Recent years have given fans plenty of Martha Stewart moments that aren't exactly the norm for celebs in their eighth and ninth decades. From that first swimsuit shot that vaulted her to viral infamy (where she first learned what a thirst trap is) to her wearing-only-an-apron video to her sparking conversations about being a potential romantic partner for Pete Davidson.

The home-minded celeb also made headlines recently for making negative comments about people working remotely (from home or otherwise) not being as productive as those in the office. So everyone who was peeved by those thoughts has predictably filled up the comment sections of Stewart's latest posts.

Though the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue doesn’t have quite the same amount of eye-catching pop culture sway that it did in decades past, the one-off special is certainly still capable of surprising fans when it counts. This year brought in a plethora of superstars who definitely know how to rock a beach look, with arguably the biggest surprise in the bunch being the queen of home entertainers and beyond, Martha Stewart. But while it may have been a shock to the outside world, the businesswoman’s own daughter didn’t seem to be too thrown by the news. Moms deserve support!

Speaking with Variety about the ins and the outs tied to her day of swimsuit modeling, Stewart was asked if that kind of request had ever been tossed her way before, which she denied, saying:

Many people, if not most, likely wouldn’t have that same cucumber-cool energy if the tables were turned and it was their own mothers posing that same question. Not that the majority of people’s moms are destined for Sports Illustrated covers of any capacity. In fact, it’s usually the other way around, with the parent having to react to the news that their child will be taking on such a body-positive project. 

The point here in all this is: way to be an open-minded team player, Alexis! It doesn’t seem like Martha Stweart would ever be weighed down with self-confidence issues, but having a close and trusted family member sharing their support can still go a long way. After all, she can know full well how good she looks in a swimsuit while still not feeling great about showing it off to the rest of the world. It’s hard out here for an 82-year-old thirst trap (who only learned what a thirst trap was after becoming one).

Perhaps luckily for Alexis, she'll never have to worry about her mom asking her opinions about joining any publications whose wardrobes are even skimpier than bikinis. Here's what Stewart had to say when asked if Playboy ever came knocking.

Anyone who twice uses the word "overt" in any way that describes being provocative is...probably not destined for X-rated entertainment. But despite all that, Stewart still hopes for her inclusion in the issue to serve as an life-adjusting inspiration for other women to rethink what they may be capable of in the future, rather than relying on the past to inform things.

Along with Martha Stewart, Megan Fox wowed fans as two of the five cover models for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, with Fox’s appearance drawing a short and sweet response from Machine Gun Kelly. So many icons, so little time! While there has been some discourse about the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue over the years, this year's group of cover models has the potential to show how it can change with the times. Specifically, having a number of different ages and body types on display for the latest issue. 

The group of women are definitely going to turn heads, especially since they're known for making headlines individually. This is especially true for the Transformers actress, as fans have been following Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's relationship woes over the past few months. Of course, Megan Fox isn't the only A-listers included in this ensemble of women. Martha Stewart has gone viral countless times over the years, partly thanks to her friendship/collaboration with Snoop Dogg. Her images from Sports Illustrated have already broken the internet, as Stewart is seemingly aging in reverse. And she just continues to surprise the public regarding their perception of her.

As previously mentioned, the other two cover models are pop star Kim Petras and model Brooks Nader. Petras' star power has been steadily growing over the years, breaking new ground for the LGBTQ+ community in the process. Nader is perhaps the most traditional choice for the Sports Illustrated, given her career as a model. And her look is definitely going to turn heads, as she's rocking a red bathing suit that's giving serious Baywatch vibes. Although the look is also paired with some bangles that likely wouldn't be helpful in the water. 

These four choices each offer something different for the swimsuit issue, and have their own unique fans. And as such, Sports Illustrated has something for everyone this year. And smart money says the images are going to go viral, and folks are going to be buying the magazine. We'll just have to wait and see. Meanwhile, after the Internet collectively expressed that they wanted Pete Davidson and Martha Stewart to date, the Meet Cute actor brought an actual date to her house, as he and Chase Sui Wonders visited Stewart's Bedford, New York, farm. 

Heidi Klum Goes Topless As She Spends Easter At The Pool 

Heidi Klum has always been a fashion icon, and her looks in the past year have continued to stun people in different ways. Of course we all remember what happened at Halloween: Her worm costume became one of the pop culture movements that defined 2022, even if being in that suit was an actual nightmare. Pete Davidson And Chase Sui Wonders Get Down On Martha’s Farm 

Martha Stewart had some company at her sprawling, 153-acre New York farm over the weekend, as the “son she never had” brought his Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders for a visit. It looks like the couple didn’t leave empty-handed, either, as Pete Davidson showed off some farm fresh eggs in the wholesome pic Stewart posted to Instagram: 

Chase Sui Wonders, who is also set to appear on the upcoming Peacock series Bupkis with Pete Davidson, seems to have gotten Martha Stewart’s stamp of approval, as she called them a “Very cute couple!!!!”

Following the Saturday Night Live alum’s breakup from Kim Kardashian, some fans began to wonder if there was hope for a romance between the actor and the 81-year-old businesswoman. However, Martha Stewart hasn’t yet made it onto the long list of Pete Davidson’s girlfriends. 

Chase Sui Wonders, meanwhile, has been connected to him since his situationship with Emily Ratajkowski fizzled out. The two have been friends for over a year, but in more recent months have been photographed packing on the PDA and vacationing in Hawaii. Perhaps this visit to Martha Stewart’s farm is another sign that the two are getting serious? Keep your eye on the 2023 TV schedule for Bupkis as well as other upcoming premieres. 

Martha Stewart may have been crowned the ‘Queen of Thanksgiving’ this year, but she may be gunning for Mariah Carey’s ‘Queen of Christmas’ title.The businesswoman and entertainer has been sharing holiday decorating gems in recent weeks, but my favorite is probably the way she is displaying Christmas cards this year. Of course, her idea crushes everyone else’s Christmas card display. 

What did Ms. Stewart do? She took a fairly rustic-looking vase, tied a bow around it, threw in some sticks and attached Christmas cards to the sticks –or if you want to fancy it up, call them branches– with some pretty ribbon. Voila! The end result is a holiday card display that will be the envy of your friends. I mean it. 

This isn’t the only time that Stewart has worked her magic around the holidays. Just this week, she threw some ornaments under glass domes and created the perfect holiday centerpieces. That's note even counting the myriad beautiful cookies she's made for the season. Oh, and since she makes confections, too, she made her own winter-themed marshmallows. 

Sure, I think many of us have made marshmallows around the holidays, but Martha’s were actually in the shape of snowflakes. How did she do this? She just used cookie cutters! (Y’all know if you attempted this it would probably be a hot, broken mess too. Nailed it.) 

I’m actually a gigantic fan of the Christmas card display. I have a ribboned billboard I use to keep my Christmas card display up year round, along with other mementos, like Thank You cards and baby announcements. It's a sentimental way to be reminded of my family's loved ones throughout the year and I always thought it looked nice -- yet now I see my way of doing things is pretty amateur. I can just see Martha now, drinking and critiquing my home...

Thank you to Martha Stewart for making me fully aware of my place in the hierarchy of decorating, but also for coming up with ideas that are simple, fun, and as-ever fashion forward, plus for being an icon in so many ways. This is true not only when you are decorating but also when you are making sly comments about Pete Davidson or posting apron-only thirst traps. You really are the (holiday) gift that keeps on giving.

The Internet has long been a place where everyone can voice whatever desire they wish, no matter how ridiculous, illogical, audacious, etc., and every so often, one of those wishes comes true. (Looking at you, Snyder Cut fans.) What are the odds, though, that the dream-shipper coupling of domestic entrepreneur Martha Stewart and BDE-exuding comedian Pete Davidson will ever come to fruition? Only the future can know such illicit truths, but Stewart made it pretty clear she would be down to clown, as it were, if such an opportunity ever rose up.

Martha Stewart appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show for a flag-waving game centered around dating, and what her likes and dislikes are in that capacity. The whole segment was a treat, both for audiences and Barrymore herself, but their discussion about Pete Davidson stands out as the highlight. After the 81-year-old quickly responded positively to the idea of dating someone as tattooed as Davidson, she was then asked about partnering up with the SNL vet himself, which sparked a wave of the green flag (for Yes) and this answer:

Having only recently gone viral for a video in which she was wearing nothing but an apron, Stewart speaks with such a calm and casual matter-of-factness, whether she’s talking about hanging out with Snoop Dogg, the best oven temperatures for pies, or how twerpy Pete Davidson is compared to Justin Bieber. So it’s honestly just as fun to watch Drew Barrymore’s reactions to everything her guest is saying, as she’s 100% serving as the audience surrogate with her glued-on smirk and light sense of awe about it all. Really, who among us can say we’ve inspired Martha Stewart to consider being the Meet Cute star’s first big relationship after his break-up with Kim Kardashian?

But while the above comments were pretty PG-rated, even while bringing up one of Comedy Central’s R-rated Roasts, Stewart did let a gloriously salacious-esque thought pass her lips after Barrymore commented on the comedian’s reputation cementing him as a good dude, saying:

I think we all had this face going as a reaction.

After that, Stewart voiced a comment she’d made in the past about Davidson being like a son she’d never had, which clearly sent Barrymore’s mind reeling while searching for a follow-up comment. Perhaps thankfully, the conversation didn’t go all House of the Dragon, with Stewart suggesting they move onto the next topic. But clearly that just adds layers to the fan-fiction-ness of it all. 

Barrymore only recently had to come out and clarify prior comments she’d made about her own sex life, after viewers misinterpreted her sexual hiatus to mean she hated the act outright. No hate or shame in her game whatsoever, as evidenced in the full talk show clip below.

The Kardashian-Jenner family is definitely known for taking sweet vacays, and it looks like one of their latest was the perfect escape for Kim Kardashian. The reality TV brood was in Idaho this past weekend, according to ET, and it looks like the SKIMS founder enjoyed herself. She reportedly took a boat ride while in Coeur d'Alene and, per her Instagram stories, she got to ride the waves with a wakeboard and explore a beautiful-looking forest. 

This sounds like a pretty good way to recharge one’s batteries following a breakup. Of course, that’s not the only thing the Kardashians star is doing in the wake of the split. She’s also taken to a tried-and-true practice that her devoted social media followers are more than familiar with.

Pete Davidson has dated quite a few people in his time. Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale and Phoebe Dynevor are just a few of the women he’s been with aside from the reality TV queen. But could Martha Stewart be the next to strike up a romance with him? A viral meme seemed to suggest that the 28-year-old could get with Stewart, as they were spotted holding hands at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. DailyMail caught up with the 81-year-old businesswoman, who laughed and said: 

They’d certainly be an interesting romantic pairing, that’s for sure. But based on Martha Stewart’s comments, the only love they have for each other is akin to the bond between a parent and child. (And let’s be honest, could the comic even handle Stewart?)

Though Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian are no longer together, it’s said that the two are still friends. That could help to soothe the awkwardness that typically accompanies a breakup. Kardashian is clearly living her best life post split and, hopefully, Davidson will do the same moving forward.

The Kardashian-Jenner family is an ever-expanding brood, with Kris Jenner’s six children bearing a combined 11 little ones of their own. The reality stars are often talked about for their co-parenting skills, as the four Kardashian offspring are no longer romantically involved with their children’s other parent – but there’s another issue at play when considering "traditional family values." Kris Jenner recently opened up about how a lot of her grandchildren were born out of wedlock, and she shared her views about that, especially given how she was judged when she got pregnant with Kourtney Kardashian.

These days having children before you get married (or without getting married at all) isn’t the scandalous affair that it once was. Kris Jenner acknowledged as much when speaking on The Martha Stewart Podcast, saying that times have certainly changed since she gave birth to her oldest child 43 years ago. The timing of Kourtney Kardashian’s birth was of particular interest to her in-laws, the momager recalled:

When it comes to her children having kids out of wedlock, she’s learned to be there for them instead of judge them, she said:

Kourtney Kardashian shares three children with Scott Disick, who she was never married to, and is now trying to expand her family with husband Travis Barker. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had daughter North before getting married, while Saint, Chicago and Psalm were born after the couple’s 2014 nuptials. Khloé Kardashian had hoped to marry Tristan Thompson after daughter True was born, but that relationship ended in scandal. Rob Kardashian was engaged to Blac Chyna when she gave birth to their daughter, but they also broke up. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott share two children and are also not married.

There are some friendships in Hollywood that I can just get behind, like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez sharing their love for each other, or how Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson rip on each other constantly, but a friendship that has always fascinated and amused me is one I never saw coming - Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart. 

From the first time they met all the way to now, these two, seemingly, complete opposites have somehow come together to form an iconic friendship, both on screen and off. For those who are just as confused about where this friendship began, here is the ultimate timeline of their partnership. 

Snoop Dogg And Martha Met On A Segment On Her Show In 2008

Back in 2008, Martha Stewart was one of the many celebrities with a talk show, simply called The Martha Stewart Show. Besides having guests come to speak to her, she’d also have cooking segments, and Snoop Dogg was featured on one back in 2008, which you cans see on Martha Stewart’s YouTube channel.

In this segment, he made mashed potatoes, and instantly, you can tell these two have hilarious chemistry. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. 

It Wasn’t Long Before Snoop Returned To The Show In 2009 - For Another Cooking Segment 

In 2009, Snoop Dogg ended up reuniting with Stewart again during yet another segment of her show in front of a very happy crowd, where the two of them made brownies together. Snoop would jokingly ask Stewart about when they were adding “the stuff” to their brownies - to which she would respond with a smile and say, “later.” Already, these two were so adorable together on screen.

Are you ready to learn how to cook? Then this is the show for you, because in 2016 it was announced that Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart would have their own joint cooking show, according to Deadline.

The show, titled Martha & Snoop’s Dinner Party originally (later changed to Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party), ran for two seasons on VH1, showing just how well these two really work together and how adorable they truly are. The show was even nominated for an Emmy Award!

And In 2018, Martha Stewart Wrote The Forward For Snoop’s Personal Cookbook

We all know that Snoop Dogg loves his brownies - no, not those brownies, but regular ones, too! Because, he decided to follow in the steps of Martha Stewart and release his own cookbook in 2018.

When you think of Halloween, maybe you think of Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise or the best horror movies out there, but for me, I think of these two goofballs as they hosted a Peacock original series together in 2021, titled Snoop and Martha’s Very Tasty Halloween.

The two of them, alongside Alvin Zhou from Buzzfeed Tasty, judged spooky creations from contestants, continuing to show just how great their chemistry is and how much they love food.

And In 2022, They Reunited To Host Puppy Bowl 2022

You thought the Puppy Bowl was done? Nah. They were so good in their 2021 hosting gig that they were brought back for Puppy Bowl 2022, where the two of them continued to cheer for their opposing teams, Ruff and Fluff, to win it all. I mean, if you can’t smile while watching these buddies cheer on puppies, I don’t know what will make you smile.

Despite people’s perception of the show, Saturday Night Live has remained a late-night staple for 46 seasons. Being asked to host the television institution is still a major coup for anyone – singers, actors, sports figures or media personalities. But, some people have passed up the opportunity for assorted reasons. One such person is America’s favorite home maven, Martha Stewart. She explained why she’s still really pissed about having to say no to hosting SNL.

Martha Stewart’s media career has been filled with many opportunities since Martha Stewart Living reigned supreme in the 1990s. Now, Stewart's had a hand in every form of media from publishing to television to home décor. But, late-night sketch comedy hasn’t been one of them, despite many after hours talk show appearances. Harper's Bazaar interviewed the domestic doyenne for its March issue. The conversation turned to her prison stint before talking about her one big regret:

Unfortunately, Martha Stewart lost out on a prime opportunity to host the beloved show over some legal hang-ups. Keep in mind, hosting Saturday Night Live isn’t the same thing as losing out on a job or financial opportunity. But, not being able to host SNL still clearly hurts Stewart to this day, as evident by her words. Given Stewart’s humor on television and social media, she would’ve been at the job, even after her time in jail. If America’s sweetheart Betty White could host SNL in her 80s, then the home maven still has time to host the late-night staple.

Despite never hosting Saturday Night Live, Martha Stewart hasn’t missed out on many crazy television antics. She teamed up with rap legend Snoop Dogg for the popular VH1 series Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. Their show has moments that can match SNL’s energy. Her prison stint and friendship with Snoop Dogg introduced Stewart to a new generation and demographic.

That said, Martha Stewart would still be a great SNL host, given the caliber of hosts the show has brought on lately. Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy, Oscar winner Regina King and Bridgerton’s Rege-Jean Page have all brought their star power to the series lately.

Not hosting SNL may be a huge regret for Martha Stewart, but she still has plenty of time to fulfill that dream. Anyone can relate to Stewart’s regret over missing what seems to be a prime opportunity. But looking back on it, and given her circumstances, that just might not have been the right time to take on such as massive, time-consuming gig.

It can sometimes be hard to keep up with pop culture trends, especially for, well, grown ass adults who already have a lot going on. Such is the case with Martha Stewart, who, even despite her friendships with much younger celebrities like Snoop Dogg, had still managed to miss out on learning about one of the most prevalent holdovers from 2010s internet culture: the thirst trap. But! This doesn't mean that Stewart is incapable of accidentally wandering into her own thirst-inducing social media post and getting fans hot and bothered, and this had led to some education for the much loved lifestyle maven.

While the idea of a basic selfie is probably pretty easy to understand, even for those who don't spend a lot of time online, the phrase "thirst trap" doesn't automatically indicate what one is in for unless one knows about the sexual desire definition of "thirst." But, as those who follow Martha Stewart on Instagram saw last week, it's not impossible to find yourself posting a thirst trap without knowing anything about what it is. Entertainment Tonight took the 78-year-old entertaining guru to task for a recent picture she snapped of herself coming out of the pool, and, well, let's just take a look at that first, in case you missed it:

Well, just look at Martha Stewart! Alright, now that you know what all the pursed-lip, sultry-faced fuss is about, let's get back to what Stewart said when she was first asked about the now-viral photo and it's thirsty trappings:

I mean, how can you not love that? Martha Stewart simply has too much to do to try and keep up with all your fancy new terms for things, OK? As you can see from the caption, Stewart was just loving her time in the pool and wanted to pay tribute to all the joy and peace said pool has given to her since she had it installed in her backyard. Man, it doesn't take much to get people riled up after several months of quarantine, does it? This is one of our respected elder stateswomen of entertaining. Maybe you can all just calm down a little, alright?

Oh. You know what? I might have spoken too soon, because here's what Ms. Stewart had to say once the idea of thirst trapation was fully explained to her:

How dare I attempt to stand up for Martha Stewart when she clearly knew what she was doing to us all along! Don't worry, folks. I have now learned my lesson, and learned it well. Never again will I underestimate a senior who's feeling herself and wants everyone to know it!

In the weeks since we’ve all gone into self-isolation, there's been plenty of television to go around, but daytime and late night hosts in particular have had to really re-evaluate and rework the way they are doing things. We’ve seen hosts from Ellen Degeneres, Jimmy Fallon, James Corden, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert expand their platforms through celebrity interviews on YouTube and Instagram, but a lot of them have one thing in common: There’s not much to talk about but TV right now.

Well, that’s not strictly true, as celebrities like the ever-charming Kristen Bell and Dax Shephard have been honest about what life in isolation is like – they’re sick of each other, as they told Katie Couric. However, normally celebrity interviews do not touch on the mundanity of their regular lives, yet in this case they have, and for a lot of people that means TV.

Jimmy Fallon’s been doing something he’s dubbed The Tonight Show At Home, and I’ve seen him talk to a lot of celebrities about television. Here’s Fallon talking to Adam Sandler about watching old basketball and baseball games.

Adam Sandler at the time even said, “It’s like wow, I can’t believe this is what we do.” But he’s not the only one. When Jimmy Fallon interviewed Kim Kardashian West, they totally spent time talking about Netflix’s viral new documentary series Tiger King as well as Love Is Blind after commiserating about not having enough stuff to do at their homes.

Kevin Hart talked about not being able to watch the TV he wants to watch in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, noting “his son” runs the household among other funny complaints during quarantine. Ellen DeGeneres also talked to Michelle Obama about television and the former First Lady admitted her family has been doing a lot of “Netflix and chillin” before Ellen copped to doing the same.

The point is, quarantine is pretty similar for a lot of people, including people who normally have their days peppered with a variety of promotional or even on set opportunities. Some people, like Martha Stewart, have told late night hosts (in this case Seth Meyers) about various other at home activities they have been doing (she’s been gardening to fill the time). Meanwhile, Daniel Radcliffe has been killing time by doing insane LEGO sets as he revealed to Stephen Colbert.

While The Ellen Show and The Wendy Williams Show are getting back into production this week, it could still be a while before sports, new movie projects and other facets of entertainment get off the ground. Luckily, though, Chrissy Teigen has a new show coming to Quibi when it launches, so that’s actually more of the usual TV bent we get on talk shows.

The point is, we often think of celebrities and even late night hosts as living these interesting and colorful lives. Right now, they’re all watching TV like the rest of us and some of them are bored.

In any event, I don’t blame Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon or any others for these impromptu YouTube shows for the many questions about what celebrities are currently watching. They are all giving fans unprecedented looks into the lives of celebrities during this unique and sometimes frustrating time period in society. And they’ve done a lot more than ask about Tiger King, sharing memorable stories from their pasts, finding ways to put on musical performances and more.

Stuff is likely to continue to change and advance in the late night game as people are kept away from work, but if any more television goes viral, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Many late night talk shows have returned to the air full force after being away for a couple of weeks. But, everyone is still broadcasting from their homes, meaning that we're continuing to get to see some different sides of not only our favorite hosts, but the guests they have on the show. Martha Stewart recently appeared on one of our newly returned late night shows, and, what can I say, she was a hoot and a half, and everything we need to see on TV right now.

See that photo of her above? That’s how Ms. Martha started the interview, y’all. With a drink in her hand and gleefully surrounded (fine, not quite surrounded) by fancy booze-stuffs. Just from the look of her, you can tell that she’s about to be a fucking delight, and Martha Stewart did not disappoint when she showed up on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Check it out!

I am so glad that Seth Meyers caught Martha Stewart on a day / at a time when she was not in the mood to mince words. When he asked her about the design aesthetic of his new attic studio, not only did she seem to know everything about the room already, but she zeroed right in on that lamp behind him, and deemed it “not so country” and not deserving of a place in this particular room. She said it with a smile on her face, but if Ms. Martha hadn’t clearly been drinking for a while before this interview, that might not have been the case.

It's also hard not to love the way Martha Stewart shrugs noncommittally before saying the Meyers attic design "looks nice" in that high pitched voice that we all know means, "Seth, I believe you can do better and I am judging you for what's happened to that attic. But, also, I am tipsy and it doesn't matter that much right now." That Martha...she's a gem, amirite? We can't all have houses as cool as Jimmy Fallon, alright!

Meyers then moved on to asking Martha Stewart about how she's dealing with self-isolating, and she's clearly feeling some kinda way about technology right now. When Ms. Martha said she had to thank the people who were helping us get through this, I thought for sure that she was going to talk about doctors, nurses and maybe even give a shout out to anyone manufacturing toilet paper in these difficult times, but, nope! She had Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Zoom, FaceTime and Alexander Graham Bell on her mind instead.

I'm pretty sure, in her slightly forgetful and adult beverage-soaked haze, that she credited Gates with inventing the internet and Jobs for giving us laptop computers, but, I am not gonna be the one to tell Ms. Martha that she's wrong. At least not right now. I have enough trouble without trying to nurse a head wound caused by Martha Stewart lobbing a bottle of St-Germain at me, OK?

Martha Stewart really showed a lot of her personality in this video, and I think we should all be grateful for it. At least we know now that she hates texting and won't dare to do such a ridiculous thing from the other side of a wall. I mean, really! The peon who did this to Ms. Martha should be ashamed!

As the college admission scandal continues to make headlines, there are not a lot of people who feel empathetic to what Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin have gone through under their intense media scrutiny. Due to their celebrity and soured notoriety, these two actresses have become the faces of the blistering coverage. A lot of the scorn has been directed their way. But there's one person in their corner, sympathetic to their plight: Martha Stewart. Here's what the TV personality said:

Martha Stewart explained her feelings on this scandalous, headline-catching news to Entertainment Tonight. As the businesswoman explained at the Time 100 Gala at Lincoln Center in New York this past Tuesday, she believes the actresses have simply made a very big and unfortunate mistake. And since they are the most famous people involved in this scandal, they are the ones who are getting the most notice and distain from the public-at-large.

Martha Stewart also claims that Loughlin and Huffman "definitely" have a chance to bounce back from these legal troubles once the dust has settled. But of course, it's too early to know whether or not that's true.

As it should be noted, Martha Stewart has spent time in prison herself. The TV personality served a five-month sentence between 2004 and 2005 after she was convicted of several felony charges. She is someone who also made a big mistake, and Stewart received no shortage of press about the legal hassles she dealt with.

As someone who has also been in the hot seat due to an unfortunate series of decisions, Martha Stewart is a little bit more understanding of what Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin are currently dealing with. She has lived through similar experiences and hardships. That said, she is unlikely to change anyone's mind about this media firestorm. At least, not at this time.

Similar to Stewart's controversy, maybe there will be a time when the public is more sympathetic to what Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are wrestling with. At the moment, however, it sounds like the public conscious on their situation is largely negative. Though, despite what everyone else might say, Martha Stewart appears to be a little more caring and concerned. So, for whatever that's worth, that's something that Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin can appreciate during their legal woes and frustrations.

When it comes to the legal drama involving this college admission scandal, Felicity Huffman has pleaded guilty to charges of mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in early April. Additionally, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli have plead not guilty to their own charges. They are still fighting their case, though it's unclear how successful (or not) they may or may not be. But one thing's for certain: neither Lori Loughlin nor Felicity Huffman are in enviable positions right now. And Martha Stewart can relate and sympathize with that — even if few other folks can do the same. We will keep you posted on this story.

Many chefs have made a name for themselves in the world of television, but few have reached the level of success of Martha Stewart. Minus some non-food-related discretions, her name is synonymous with quality and all things good and tasty, so attaching her to food-related programming is always a win for fans. Food Network seems to understand this, and it's once again bringing Stewart onto the network to become the newest recurring guest judge on upcoming episodes of Chopped.

Martha Stewart will first burst onto the Chopped scene in an episode set to air Tuesday, June 5th, and she'll appear in future episodes beyond that. Stewart will sit on the judge's panel alongside the show's veterans, and she'll bring her appetite, expertise, and opinions as she rates the rapidly prepared meals from chefs battling it out for that top spot and $10,000. Will these chefs expertly handle the fiery presence of Stewart in the Chopped kitchen, or will they buckle under the pressure of having the cooking legend there to scrutinize their meals?

Food Network didn't reveal how the Chopped contestants will react to her presence, of course, but did tease what's on the menu for Martha Stewart's appearances. We'll get to see Wagyu beef, beer, and gold-covered chocolate bacon playing their parts in what is sure to be some interesting challenges for the chefs to work with. The first two basket ingredients seem pretty standard, even when mixed with bizarre basket ingredients. But will Stewart think gold-covered chocolate bacon is a good thing? Stewart's seen a lot of taste treats and been a lot of places in her long career, so maybe something even as exotic as that could be old hat to her.

Martha Stewart may be the show's newest guest judge, but she's no stranger to the overall Chopped experience. Stewart was featured as a guest judge on Season 1 of Chopped Junior, so franchise fans had been speculating and hoping for a while that she'd be joining the flagship cooking competition at some point. Stewart was not afraid to let the children know her complaints about their cooking, so no one should expect her to go soft on the adult chefs in Chopped's latest season. Fans are excited to see Stewart on the show, and some are wondering if she will try to bring one of her other TV celebrity pals along for the ride.

Martha Stewart will pop up on Chopped on the Food Network beginning Tuesday, June 5th, at 9:00 pm ET. Science, religion, and medical knowledge cannot explain one of the biggest mysteries in the world: just how Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart not only became friends, but got to host a cooking show together. We may be closer to decoding that mystery, as the two have crafted a promo for Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner that invokes the spirit of the classic pottery scene from Ghost. And you can see it all for yourself below:

While the original scene from Ghost made audiences feel all warm inside, this promo for the VH1 cooking program makes us laugh heartily. That's definitely the point, as we see Martha Stewart seductively spin a chocolate cake, with Snoop filling in as the Patrick Swayze to her Demi Moore, joining hands and getting messy. Frankly, if these two can be friends and stay in character long enough to make this spot work, it's not as much of a surprise that the two are good friends.

Still, the pottery scene is pretty hard to shake from your mind once you've seen it. In fact, it's one of those moments that's parodied so often that its fame overshadows the rest of the film that it came from - which obviously suits it for a great ad to usher in the second season of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner. If only they could do a full episode, if not a season, of film related gags that lead into a several course meal of movie based recipes. Certainly the Ghost-fully Delicious Chocolate Cake would make for a great dessert after some Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Bat Country Wings for an appetizer, and a Silence of the Lambs inspired course of liver, with fava beans.

Ghost is one of those movies that's famous enough that people would know it, but if you and a friend happen to both like it, it strengthens the bond. A rare dramatic thriller crossbred with a romantic drama, you probably wouldn't believe that anyone involved with Airplane! would be involved with the making of such a film, and yet director and co-writer David Zucker was the genius behind the camera for Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore's supernatural love. So obviously, if Zucker catches sight of this ad, he should be proud that someone's not only paying tribute to a more low-key entry in his filmography, but also that the art of the loving parody is still alive and well.

All of this talk has us hungry, as well as thinking about that original Ghost scene. So if you've been humming "Unchained Melody" to yourselves this whole time, your patience has been rewarded. Relive those beautiful memories below.

If you can't get enough of the oddball pairing of Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, then you're in luck. The duo is finally getting their own show on VH1, and we've got all the details for you.

VH1 confirmed today that the network has given the green light to a new weekly series featuring Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. The show, which has the current working title of Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party, will see the duo inviting their celebrity friends over for "a half-baked evening of cocktails, cooking, conversation, and fun where nothing is off limits." There's no word yet on just who the celebrity guests will be, or on how many episodes we'll be treated to, but the show is slated to begin airing on VH1 sometime this fall.

In case you didn't know, Snoop and Stewart make a pretty good team on screen. During the run of Stewart's recent daytime show, Martha, the two had their first appearances on screen together, where they made mashed potatoes and, about a year later, brownies. They also managed to talk about vocabulary in a way that only Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart could. Take a look at the magic:

That's right, guys. Snoop Dogg actually taught Martha Stewart about "fo shizzle" and "crack-a-lackin" on her morning show, and, from the sound of it, she enjoyed the lesson thoroughly. OK, so, where has this crazy ass show been all my life? I mean, seriously. These two are going to have a no-holds-barred weekly party with booze, cooking and celebrity chit chat? How will this not be the best thing that's ever happened to TV? I couldn't help but notice how the announcement of the show mentioned that the party will be a "half-baked evening." I only say this because of Snoop Dogg's well-known proclivities, but, um, might we actually get to watch a high Martha Stewart on Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party? There is literally no one who will declare that that possibility is not awesome.

Stewart and Snoop haven't made a lot of appearances on TV together, but their brief time on her morning show has led to a couple of other memorable meetings. They each showed up during Comedy Central's roast of Justin Bieber to take the singer down a peg or two, and they also recently impressed host Michael Strahan while playing on ABC's new $100,000 Pyramid. This will be the first time that Stewart and Snoop will actually co-host a show.

Obviously, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg both know a lot about entertaining and partying, so there's almost no way that this isn't going to be a show with a lot of know-how behind it. I almost can't wait to see how all this will go down. Who will they invite over? What drinks will they serve? Will they make mashed potatoes and brownies? Will the brownies be "half-baked?" We can all find out when Martha & Snoop's Dinner Party premieres on VH1 this fall.

Orange Is The New Black memorably paid homage to Martha Stewart, and more importantly her jail stint, when the show introduced us to the Stewart-esque character Judy King. While the character is certainly a nod to Martha Stewart and the time spent in jail after being convicted of charges stemming from insider trading, the home décor mogul says she hasn't watched Orange Is The New Black to catch the character based on her. In a recent interview on Chelsea Handler's new Netflix series, Stewart revealed there's a really good reason why she hasn't bothered to tune in and watch:

Martha Stewart actually spent a solid five months in prison in 2004-2005 after being charged and convicted on counts of conspiracy, lying to the Feds and obstructing agency proceedings. Along with her jail stint, she underwent two years of probation, including electrical monitoring. These days she's back to being the chairwoman of her own company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and occasionally making TV appearances on shows like Chelsea.

Honestly, Martha Stewart's opinion on Orange Is The New Black isn't really all that odd. Martha Stewart actually spent time in real prison, where she had to fight to watch the news and stock channels in the mornings and deal with wearing real-life prison garb . That's nothing like Jenji Kohan's world in Orange Is The New Black, which features amusing but often absurd premises like a stinky panty business or a prison break party at a lake.

Although there is a character based on Martha Stewart expected to return for Season 4. The character on the show, Judy King, is is also different from the real-life Stewart in many ways. She's a little less poised than the real Stewart, and shows agitation when she arrives at Litchfield Prison and isn't greeted promptly. She's also incredibly southern, making her more like a mash-up of Stewart and Paula Deen than a knockoff of Martha Stewart.

Besides, as Martha Stewart also noted to Chelsea Handler, she's more into watching the stock tickers on the news than she is the dramas on Netflix and cable.

Luckily, if you are more interested in Orange Is The New Black's version of Martha Stewart, you won't have too much longer to wait. The long-running series has already been renewed for several seasons, and Season 4 is expected to hit Netflix on Friday, June 17. You can find out what we know about Season 4 here. Although we’ve seen some footage from Orange is the New Black Season 3, details on the new season haven’t been incredibly forthcoming. Which is why it’s so exciting to announce that Jenji Kohan and co. have a brand new character planned for Season 3 of the Netflix series. Hilariously, the character will be a cheeky nod to Martha Stewart.

For those who might be fuzzy on the details, the home decorating and DIY guru was sent to jail for a 5-month term way back in 2004. She had gotten embroiled in the ImClone stock trading case, after getting tipped off that the stock was going to fall, eventually going to prison and later getting put on probation for insider trading. According to Time, Orange is the New Black’s version of Martha won’t be wholly on the nose. Instead, the show will tweak the Stewart-based character, creating someone who is like Martha, but from the south.

Currently, Kohan is staying mum about who will be playing the character, but I’m sure whoever it ends up being will end up doing a little redecorating during her stint at Litchfield Prison. There are a slew of names already attached to Season 3 of Orange is the New Black, and since we mostly have no idea what characters the newbies will be playing, theoretically, one of them could take on this Martha Stewart-like role.

First, Fringe actress Blair Brown has been signed on in an undisclosed role. She totes could be the Martha Stewart-type, I suppose. Mary Steenburgen has also joined the cast, and I really would have liked to have seen her in the Southern Martha role. Plus, we already know she can do the right accent, since we already saw her pull one out on Justified. Unfortunately, while her role was initially kept under wraps, it seems as if she probably is playing Pornstache’s mom, so that dream might be out. Obviously, Litchfield’s Martha could be played by someone else, too! We’ll keep you posted as Season 3 moves forward.

Netflix plans to premiere all episodes of the new season on June 12. On the bright side, Orange is the New Black has already been renewed for a fourth season, so there’s much, much more of the hit series to come.

The Roast of Justin Bieber had some amusing moments, some weird moments, including Justin Bieber apologizing for his behavior over the past few years, and some sad moments, including the arguably too-soon jokes made about Paul Walker that received a lot of notice. It also had its share of outrageous moments too, like when Martha Stewart walked onstage in a crazy print to crack jokes about Kevin Hart, Ludacris and more. Some of the jokes are a bit edgy, so keep that in mind if you are at work.

The design guru may not have written all of her own jokes, but her delivery was spot-on. She deadpanned jokes about Kevin Hart blowing though money without getting too offensive and then managed to crack a joke about Ludacris enjoying the bedroom while simultaneously plugging her line of luxurious towels. It’s hard not to spoil the punchline in jokes without iterating the entire setup, so instead of taking my word for it, we highly suggest you watch the video.

Martha Stewart isn’t someone we would normally associate with a Comedy Central roast. She isn’t a comedian, a writer or a celebrity that is known for hanging out with Justin Bieber, so when the network announced the lineup for The Roast of Justin Bieber, her name stood out like a lightbulb. Overall, the roast was a bit of a weird one, where celebrities like Shaquille O’Neal and Ludacris popped up alongside names like Chris D’Elia, Natasha Leggero, Hannibal Buress, Jeffrey Ross and many, many more. While at first Stewart may have seemed to be a weird add, now we see why she was given a shot.

The Roast of Justin Bieber actually hit the schedule last night, but we’ve been hearing about if for some time, especially as the shindig was actually shot a couple of weeks ago. Things change between the lengthy taping and the shorter broadcast on Comedy Central, but it’s nice to know so many incredible jokes landed. In fact, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson is enjoying a ton of positive press for his aggressive turn at the mic where he mocked everything from Paul Walker, in the aforementioned cut joke, to his own 9/11 victim father. When it comes to roasting, you have to go big or go home.

Congratulations to Justin Bieber for getting his moment in the spotlight. It may not have been pretty the whole time, but he took his verbal beating like a champion and got in a few haymakers of his own. I have no idea how Comedy Central will top this next year, but no doubt executives are furiously brainstorming to try and figure out a way.

Daytime television is changing so rapidly. At this rate Wendy Williams will be one of the top talk show hosts before too long. Now it looks like Martha Stewart is picking up all her cookbooks and other toys and taking them to the Hallmark channel, taking over mornings there.

Starting in the fall of 2010, The Martha Stewart Show will air exclusively on the Hallmark Channel at 10 PM ET. That will be followed by 90 minutes of to-be-determined programming from her Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia company, according to Zap2It. The idea is to utilize the time to spotlight other personalities from within the MSLO empire. Perhaps she has a Dr. Phil or a Dr. Oz of her own to trot out.

This has to be a huge blow to local stations that pick up the syndication rights on these shows. Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart are easily two of the top draws, and the biggest names in daytime television. So who's going to step up and dominate broadcast daytime television?

Ellen DeGeneres is in good shape, as she has more of a general focus show, as opposed to the various doctor shows. Plus, that American Idol exposure probably isn't going to hurt her any either. Maybe Rosie O'Donnell will come back, though I don't see her being as warmly embraced as she was during her "Queen of Nice" reign. Who do you see stepping up?
