Kim Kardashian is one of the most famous people on the planet, whether you know her from all of those bikini pics, her new Fortnite skin or one of her shows on the 2025 TV schedule (The Kardashians and All’s Fair are both beloved by those with a Hulu subscription). It’s easy to forget that her fame all started with Paris Hilton, so I definitely wasn’t expecting these two to reunite for the holidays. Merry “Slivmas” indeed!

I’m not sure what the occasion was that got them together for some Instagram Stories posts, but they were dressed to impress — Paris Hilton in a red-sequined mini-dress and Kim Kardashian in an asymmetrical black number — as they struck a pose in front of several Christmas trees in celebration of the holidays. Hilton posted:

The photo — which was also shared by Kim Kardashian — included a caption that read, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Slivmas,” combining Paris Hilton’s signature adjective “sliving” (slaying and living) with, of course, “Christmas.” Too bad she can’t shoehorn a “sleigh” pun in there too.

The longtime friends even showed a bit of emotion in a second photo posted by Kim Kardashian:

It’s not clear if the photos are being taken in Kim Kardashian’s hallway of Christmas trees or if Paris Hilton has her own winter wonderland at home, but I love to see old buddies coming together during the holidays. It’s also amusing to me to see Hilton’s Santa-coded dress so soon after Kim’s sister Kourtney Kardashian got trolled for her own Kris Kringle costume.

Kim Kardashian, of course, has Paris Hilton to thank in part for becoming famous. The SKIMS boss’ name first started to circulate in the press in the early 2000s, when she was Hilton’s assistant/closet organizer. They would hit the clubs with other celebs like Britney Spears (Paris showed support and Kim reached out recently as well) and have their photos published in the tabloids.

Over the years, however, there have been big questions about whether or not Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are still friends. There seemed to be tension between the two around 2010, when Kardashian allegedly mocked Hilton at a club and commented on her arrest for cocaine possession. Fans also think the hotel heiress blew off her former BFF in a hilarious way on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

More recently things seem to be fine between them, with the Kardashian-Jenner family members attending the Hiltons’ Christmas party a few years ago (even if Kim was a tad underdressed), and Paris and her family being amongst the A-listers in attendance at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.

The “sliving” Christmas photos are just the latest proof that this powerhouse duo lives on. You can see what else Kim Kardashian and her family is up to on new episodes of The Kardashians each Thursday, and the entire first season her legal drama All’s Fair is also streaming, both on Hulu.

Alleged details of Britney Spears’ personal life have been drawing attention yet again in the aftermath of her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, releasing his new memoir. In You Thought You Knew, 47-year-old Federline makes a litany of claims against his former wife. Since then, Spears (43) has received support from fans and some fellow stars, with longtime friend Paris Hilton being one of them. Hilton just honored Spears in another way, and that involved her son, Phoenix.

Paris Hilton recently channeled her own inner Spears by dressing in the iconic “Oops!…I Did It Again” outfit this spooky season. The accompanying photoshoot was impressive as well, and that was only one of Hilton’s 2025 Halloween costumes. (She also dressed up as Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman.) Sometime after she donned that red, space suite-like outfit, though, Hilton and 2-year-old Phoenix (who was dressed as Buzz Lightyear), shared the following video to Instagram, with which they shouted out “Auntie Britney”:

Cue all the “aws.” Given how close Hilton (44) and the “Circus” singer are, it probably isn’t all that surprising that she would take a moment to extend some love. Admittedly, the sound of little Phoenix saying “Aunt Britney” is also too adorable for words. In addition, a number of people also took to the comments to share their reactions, including Paris’ mother, Kathy, as well as her sister, Nicky. Some commenters also seemed to be of the opinion that Spears needed support at this point.

Via her former husband’s book, Britney Spears was accused of breastfeeding while doing cocaine, wielding knives while her sons slept and more. Spears’ team eventually released a statement and blasted K-Fed and others for “profiting off her.” Eventually, Spears took to social media as well to share a post and, though she didn’t specifically name Federline, she did say she didn’t feel “respected at all by the most unbelievably horrible things being said” about her.

Kevin Federline has since contended that money wasn’t the reason he decided to write the book and that he was prompted, in part, by a desire to help his ex-wife. The former rapper – who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007 – also said that he felt he was entitled to telling his story like his ex was able to tell hers in the 2023 memoir The Woman in Me. Additionally, Federline seemed to place some blame on himself for how things played out years ago, as he mentioned that he also partied during those days.

The “Playing with Fire” performer’s comments caused a stir on social media, with a number of fans sharing negative thoughts. Even rapper Nicki Minaj spoke out, cursing while calling out Federline on social media. An entity that did not take action was the Free Britney Movement as, after Federline called on them to “save” Spears, they said they’d disbanded after the singer’s conservatorship ended in 2021.

It seems, however, that the support Paris Hilton has for Britney Spears is unwavering. While Spears is dealing with the allegations from her ex, she’s also reportedly been trying to reconnect with her sons as of late – Sean Preston (20) and Jayden James (19). The exact specifics of Spears’ relationships with her other family members are unclear but, at the very least, it’s evident that she has Hilton and others in her corner.

Paris Hilton has done it again. For the third Halloween in a row, the hotel heiress has dressed as one of Britney Spears many iconic music video looks. The besties have been close ever since their parallel rises to fame in the 2000s, and Hilton has loyally supported Spears through her custody battle, conservatorship and more. As Spears faces claims from her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, Hilton is paying homage to her friend via a costume. Hilton’s showed love love towards the “Circus” singer by donning one of her best looks amid spooky season.

For Halloween 2025, the Simple Life star donned a striking red bodysuit similar to the one worn by Spears in her iconic music video for “Oops I Did It Again.". It's in that video that Spears is found in her Mars fortress by an astronaut. Naturally, Hilton nailed the look down to the hair and makeup in a video shared to the media personality’s Instagram, and it’s giving me all the nostalgic feels:

But let's not forget, this is Paris Hilton we are talking about. It’s not enough to just dress up as Spears. The Paris In Love star also recreated the video’s set for photoshoot, even recruiting her hubby, Carter Reum, to be the astronaut to her Britney. It’s a pretty iconic couples costume if you ask me. Alongside the photos posted to Instagram, Hilton included the following caption:

In 2024, the reality TV veteran dressed in the “Baby One More Time” look, complete with the braids, gray cardigan and half-undone white button up shirt. And, in 2023, Hilton slayed the iconic airline attendant look from “Toxic.” Though I have to say, this year’s “Oops I Did It Again” outfit is my favorite. Hilton captured the look so flawlessly, she could have been in the original video, which you can watch below:

We haven’t seen many public appearances of the pop culture icons together since Spears' wedding to Sam Asghari in 2022 (the couple divorced in 2024) and a party for a mutual friend in early 2023. I miss this duo, and I would love to see them reunite. I think it would be so cool if the “Sometimes” singer dressed up for Halloween in a classic Paris Hilton look. I think my dream Halloween costume for them would include a holy trinity reunion with Lindsey Lohan, dressed as the plastics from Mean Girls. Alas, maybe one day, if the spooky stars align.

Until then, I hope Britney Spears is taking care of herself, and I’m glad she has such a great hype woman in her corner. I can’t wait to see which Spears-inspired persona paris Hilton takes on next year.

In addition to reprising her role as Cassie for Euphoria Season 3, Sydney Sweeney also has plenty of projects in the works for the big screen, including a Christy Martin biopic and the Housemaid movie adaptation. While only the latter is set to premiere on the 2025 movie calendar, that’s still months away but, thankfully, Sweeney has a tendency to keep us occupied with her fashion choices. She doesn’t miss either, as she most recently showed off a sweet minidress while partying with Paris Hilton.

Pink was the color of preference when Paris Hilton gathered an eclectic group of her celebrity friends to celebrate her 44th birthday. Sydney Sweeney fully understood the assignment, as she was a confectionery delight in an ombré dress that featured white flowers at the top that accentuated the dress’ fade into pink. While Paris Hilton was the star in a glam rock look for her big day, sporting a sparkling multicolor dress with hot pink-sequined knee-high boots, Sydney Sweeney’s floral number was more demure yet still striking, proving why she’s one of the best in the celebrity fashion world.

Just like Sydney Sweeney’s hair was a total mood at a film festival earlier this month, the Anyone But You star wore her hair down in perfectly curled tresses with a center part. She completed the look with sky-high pink heels, which can be seen in a star-studded image shared from Julia Fox’s Instagram:

Paris Hilton’s birthday party was a who’s who of celebrity faces. As seen above, Sydney Sweeney also threw down with the likes of fellow White Lotus alums Molly Shannon and Lukas Gage, with other photos from the bash capturing images of Snoop Dogg, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Sia, Blackpink’s Lisa (of The White Lotus Season 3) and Madelyn Cline.

I mean, like I said before, Sydney Sweeney doesn’t miss. Whether she’s engaging in snowball fights in her all-white winter wear, showing off her bikini bod on a jet ski or dressing to the nines for a night out, she simply looks great in everything she wears.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to see her in action in any of her upcoming projects. Euphoria isn’t expected until 2026, though we have already gotten a first look at Zendaya, so we know filming is under way. As for The Housemaid, the book-to-screen adaptation is set for a December 2025 release, and no date has yet been announced for the biopic on boxer Christy Martin.

Hopefully she will continue to thrill us with these scrumptious looks on social media while we wait — and a few fake orgasm-filled commercials wouldn’t hurt, either.

For the last several weeks when celebrities and parties have come up in the same sentence, it’s been a discussion of the parties thrown by Sean “Diddy” Combs that are the subject of a federal indictment against the rapper and mogul. Considering all of that, it's extra sweet to hear about Leonardo DiCaprio’s 50th birthday party, which looks to have been quite the shindig. And it apparently had a guest list that would make the Governor’s Ball at the Academy Awards blush, as it truly featured a murderer's row of celebrities.

Leonardo DiCaprio turns 50 years old today, November 11, but he held his party over the weekend. The guest list was shared by deuxmoi on Instagram, and it's absolutely staggering. From DiCaprio’s fellow stars from his generation to some of the great directors that he's has worked with (and those he almost collaborated with), the guest list included:

There may have been even more stars in attendance, but this list alone is truly a who’s who of Hollywood. Being there had to be an incredible experience. Leonardo DiCaprio's father and stepmother were the only non-celebrities reported to be in attendance. It must have been a pretty amazing night for them, I'd think.

A few of these names are potentially surprising, but it’s very interesting to see who the Wolf of Wall Street star decided to invite to the event. He and Edward Norton have been friends for a long time. The same goes for DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, who were part of the same real-life poker game that inspired the movie Molly’s Game.

It's also great that Leonardo DiCaprio invited his Catch Me If You Can director Steven Spielberg. The same goes for Guillermo del Toro, who almost directed DiCaprio, as he was originally attached to star in Nightmare Alley before he had to drop out and was replaced by Bradley Cooper. I would have loved to have seen those two meet up at the party. If there’s a chance they could work together down the road that’s a very exciting prospect that they probably talked about.

DiCaprio’s One Upon A Time…In Hollywood co-star Brad Pitt -- along with his serious girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, -- was there, as was his Shutter Island co-star Mark Ruffalo. The Revenant star also invited a couple of people who it looks like he may have gotten to know in his role as a producer. DiCaprio produced Out of the Furnace, which included Casey Affleck in its cast. He also produced Kid 90, the documentary film directed by former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye.

Needless to say, certainly looks like Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday party was the hottest ticket in town. Now I just need to figure out how to become his friend before next year.

SPOILER WARNING: The following article gives away the entire story of 2005’s House of Wax so if you have not yet seen it and want to keep the film’s surprises preserved, proceed with caution before you read on.

I remember, in 2005, being just on the cusp of my ongoing obsession with the horror genre but having very little interest in seeing that year’s reimagining of 1953’s Vincent Price-led classic, House of Wax. This was mainly because I was not a fan of House of Wax cast member Paris Hilton, but the film’s pretty rude marketing strategy to promote the reality TV star’s death scene convinced me to give it a shot. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised.

Granted, I was about 12 years old when I first saw Jaume Collet-Serra’s directorial debut from Dark Castle Entertainment about a group of friends who discover a wax museum with a shocking secret behind its realistic sculptures. However, after watching it a second time as a 30-year-old, I still think it is one of the best horror movies from an era that saw the genre at a pretty low point and believe even our own House of Wax review judges its admittedly simple plot too harshly, ignoring its more entertaining and even unsettling elements. Well, I will proudly be the one to defend what I think is a horror movie remake that does not suck with the following points.

The Twin Theme Lends To Some Amusing Storytelling

Out of our obligatory crew of young, doomed road-trippers, House of Wax places the most focus on Carly (Elisha Cuthbert) and her twin brother, Nick (One Tree Hill cast member Chad Michael Murray), who point out that their parents labeled her as the good twin and him as the “evil” one. This rivalrous dynamic is actually matched by the film’s antagonists — a mechanic named Bo and his formerly-conjoined artist brother Vincent, both played by Brian Van Holt. 

The film’s cold opening hints that their parents favored one brother over the other due to his erratic behavior, which we assume would be Vincent because he is the one covering people in wax until it is revealed that Bo had the behavioral problems. We also learn that there is more to Nick than he lets on when it is discovered that he took the wrap for his friend Dalton’s (Jon Abraham) grand theft auto and comes through for his sister when Bo holds her captive. There are not many slasher movies that would bother to relate the villains to the victims like this and I appreciate House of Wax for the effort.

Damon Herriman Is One Creepy Scene-Stealer

Another one of the more underrated aspects of House of Wax is the performance by Damon Herriman. You may better recognize the Australian actor from the Justified cast as Dewey Crowe or for the times he played Charles Manson in both Netflix’s Mindhunter and 2019’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Credited as “Roadkill Driver” but revealed to be Bo and Vincent’s other brother, Lester, at the very end, Herriman basically shows up to make sure the overused slasher movie trope of the creepy redneck gets crossed off the list. However, with his discomforting glances toward Carly, concerning dialogue, and love for his bowie knife, the actor makes his brief time on screen something truly intense and memorable.

The Waxing Process Is Deeply Unsettling

Speaking of intense and memorable, I will never forget the scene that reveals how the titular House of Wax’s sculptures look so authentic: there are fucking people underneath them! We witness Vincent’s “sculpting” process performed on Carly’s boyfriend, Wade, played by Jared Padalecki right before co-leading the Supernatural cast made him a Scream King.

Wade is drugged with some chemical that keeps him immobile, but alive, as Vincent blasts him with hot wax that conforms to his skin and traps him inside once it dries and he is placed on display. I have seen my fair share of great slasher movies but few that imagine a more unimaginably horrifying way to go than this.

I Think This Is Easily Paris Hilton's Best Performance

I mentioned earlier how my knowledge that Paris Hilton’s character does not survive House of Wax convinced me to check it out in the first place. What I did not mention before was that her performance in the movie as Paige actually led me to change my then-low opinion of the heiress, too.

I am not necessarily calling her performance anything special but I do not believe it is at all worthy of the vitriol most critics spewed at her in response. You know who agrees with me? The late Roger Ebert, who said in his review of House of Wax that “she is no better or worse than the typical Dead Post-Teenager, and does exactly what she is required to do in a movie like this, with all the skill, admittedly finite, that is required.” I would say this movie is Hilton’s best acting work and, not to mention, her death scene is, indeed, pretty killer.

Elisha Cuthbert's Carly Is A Smart Final Girl

While not judged nearly as harshly as her co-star, I believe Elisha Cuthbert’s performance in House of Wax deserves more love. In fact, I think her character is one of the better-written modern horror movie Final Girls for her time.

Carly is not without her mistakes but she compensates for them by also making the smartest decisions of any character in the movie, such as locking Bo out of his truck when she becomes suspicious of him, and she shows great resilience when she is forced to pry her superglued lips open. Many slasher movies are guilty of deplorable characters who serve no other purpose but to suffer the carnage for our enjoyment but there was never a moment I did not empathize and root for Carly.

The Final Act Is Spectacular

Another thing about House of Wax that my idol Roger Ebert agrees with me about is that the climactic final sequence is fantastic. The museum is an actual wax building that begins to melt when a fire breaks out while Carly and Nick are trapped inside with Bo and Vincent.

The house’s melting effects are mostly done practically and look amazing, which kept me on the edge of my seat while the brother and sister searched desperately for an exit. As far as I am concerned, this was a genius idea that could not have been executed better, and is the number one reason to call it one of the most underrated horror films of its time.

As For The Negatives...

Of course, I cannot ignore the things that keep House of Wax from being great, in my opinion. As I mentioned earlier, many bad decisions are made, such as when Dalton discovers Wade on display at the museum and tries to get him out of his wax casing. He has good intentions but he should have known to stop after noticing his friend’s skin came off with the wax.

Speaking of Wade, Carly does not seem too torn up when she discovers his freshly waxed-over body (which is easily the biggest flaw of her character). Yet, I was not bothered by these flaws like I was by the film’s first 20-30 minutes, which is an absolute slog to get through due to its forced character exposition and choppy editing choices that were frustratingly prevalent for the time.

Luckily, I am able to forgive House of Wax’s shortcomings because, as far as admittedly stupid slasher movies from the 2000s go, it was one of the most entertaining I have ever seen. At the end of the day, what more can you really ask for?

Some might think of the House of Wax cast and picture legendary horror movie icon Vincent Price, who led the 1953 version. However, others may picture Paris Hilton, who was one of the stars of the 2005 remake from Dark Castle Entertainment and director Jaume Collet-Sera.

The slasher flick followed a group of road-tripping twenty-somethings who, after some car trouble, are forced to seek help in a mysterious small town which is home to a museum hiding a horrifying secret underneath its astonishingly detailed wax figures. If you believe that House of Wax is one of the best horror movies of the early 2000s and have been curious what its stars have been up to since, read on.

Elisha Cuthbert (Carly Jones)

Carly, the Final Girl of the 2005 House of Wax cast, is played by Elisha Cuthbert, whose experience with horror began when she joined the Midnight Society on Nickelodeon’s family-friendly horror anthology TV show Are You Afraid of the Dark? She was previously famous for playing Jack Bauer’s daughter, Kim, on 24, and as the title role of the raunchy coming-of-age comedy, The Girl Next Door in 2004.

The Canadian actor and model went on to lead more horror movies, such as 2007’s Captive and Shudder’s The Cellar from 2022, but became better known for starring in TV comedies like the short-lived but much-loved Happy Endings and Netflix’s The Ranch. Cuthbert most recently starred opposite Josh Duhamel and Mel Gibson in the 2022 thriller, Bandit, and has a comedy called Friday Afternoon in the Universe in pre-production.

Chad Michael Murray (Nick Jones)

Playing Carly’s rebellious twin brother, Nick, is fellow model-turned-actor Chad Michael Murray, whose main claim to fame at the time was starring in the One Tree Hill cast as Lucas Scott. House of Wax was also his third movie based on a pre-existing work, after appearing in 2003’s Freaky Friday as Jake (whom he is set to reprise in the upcoming sequel, Freakier Friday) and A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff in 2004.

Murray would also return to The CW with a recurring role alongside the Riverdale cast in 2019, having previously starred on another comic book TV show (Marvel’s Agent Carter) as a spy and having played a cop in Ryan Coogler’s Fruitvale Station in 2013. Other projects on the actor’s agenda include his latest upcoming Netflix movie (a holiday rom-com called The Merry Gentlemen), Fortress 3 (the third installment of a straight-to-video action movie franchise he headlined with Bruce Willis), and a Western with Bruce Dern called Bad Men Must Bleed.

Brian Van Holt (Bo Sinclair/Vincent Sinclair)

The other pair of twins from House of Wax — murderous mechanic Bo Sinclair and his demented, masked wax sculptor brother Vincent — are both played by Brian Van Holt, who also played the bad guy in Man of the House the same year. Arguably the actor’s most famous role following the horror flick is Bobby Cobb on Cougar Town, opposite former Friends cast member Courteney Cox as his ex-wife, Jules.

He more recently starred in modern action movie favorite, 2018’s Den of Thieves, Fox’s short-lived Neo-Western series, Deputy, and Peacock’s dramatized account of the story that inspired Tiger King, Joe and Carole. In 2024, he starred opposite Johnny Knoxville in the sports dramedy, Sweet Dreams, and opposite Mel Gibson and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson in a cop drama called Boneyard.

Paris Hilton (Paige Edwards)

There was a viral marketing campaign for House of Wax centered around the death scene of Paige, the character played by Paris Hilton. The horror film was the reality TV star and singer’s first starring movie role before leading the 2007 comedy The Hottie & the Nottie and appearing in another horror film from 2008 called Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Outside of her hit Peacock original reality TV show, Paris in Love, Hilton’s more recent acting credits include a 2022 horror movie called Alone at Night and an animated series called Rainbow High, in which she voices herself in four episodes. She is about to release her first music album since 2006 called Infinite Icon and there is an upcoming A24 TV show based on her memoir in the works.

Jared Padalecki (Wade Felton)

Hilton also appeared as herself (more accurately, a forest god that assumed her form) in a Supernatural episode called “Fallen Idols,” opposite Jared Padalecki, who previously starred alongside her in House of Wax as Carly’s boyfriend, Wade. His 15-year-stint in the Supernatural cast as Sam Winchester also began in 2005, which also saw the end of his Gilmore Girls cast stint as Dean Forester.

The actor went on to lead another slasher — namely the 2009 reboot of the Friday the 13th movies — and followed up Supernatural by playing the title role of The CW’s Walker, Texas Ranger reimagining, Walker, which ended in 2024. Next, Padalecki is joining Fire Country for Season 3.

Jon Abrahams (Dalton Chapman)

Nick’s absent-minded best friend Dalton is played by Jon Abrahams, whose previous horror experience includes a small part in the ‘90s sci-fi movie The Faculty, the Wes Craven-produced They from 2002, and a classic spoof movie that sends up the genre called Scary Movie. He also made his acting debut in 1995’s Kids, played Robert DeNiro’s onscreen son in Meet the Parents, and reunited with Paris Hilton in 2006’s Bottoms Up.

More recently, you might have seen Abrahams in TV crime dramas liked ABC’s short-lived Stumptown and FX’s Snowfall, to name a few. He has a feature-length crime drama in post-production now called Cutman.

Robert Ri'chard (Blake Johnson)

Paige’s boyfriend, Blake, is played by Robert Ri’Chard, who was best-known at the time for sitcoms like Nickelodeon’s Cousin Skeeter and One on One, and for the Samuel L. Jackson-led sports movie, Coach Carter, which also came out in 2005. He later poked fun at sports movies in 2007’s The Comebacks and was on a few seasons of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, to name some of his most notable credits.

Ri'chard recently guest-starred alongside his Cousin Skeeter co-star Meagan Goode on Amazon Prime’s Harlem, has had a regular role on the UMC original dramedy The Rich and the Ruthless since 2017, and has appeared in movies like the 2023 sports biopic, Sweetwater. In 2024, he starred in a BET+ original thriller called RSVP, and has a number of upcoming projects in the works.

Damon Herriman (Lester Sinclair)

Australian actor Damon Herriman makes a memorably creepy impression in very little time as “Roadkill Driver,” who is revealed to be Bo and Vincent’s brother, Lester, at the very end of House of Wax. He would later channel that same energy into two performances as notorious cult leader Charles Manson on Netflix’s Mindhunter and in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood cast in 2019. 

Some of Herriman’s other notable credits include his recurring role in the Justified cast as Dewey Crowe, a great horror movie that addresses grief called Run Rabbit Run, and the star-studded 2024 drama The Bikeriders. He is set to reprise his role as Quan Chi in the upcoming 2025 movie, Mortal Kombat 2, and that same year he will star in a horror TV show called The Bondsman.

We figured this list of the House of Wax cast members’ career achievements was a better way to show our appreciation than preserving them in wax.

Before we get into this, let’s get one thing straight, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Beyoncé don’t really resemble each other at all. However, somehow, Kim K.’s latest photoshoot for SKIMS has fans debating if she looks more like her longtime pal Paris Hilton or Beyoncé in them, and as wild as that may seem, I get it.

In a SKIMS photoshoot, Kardashian brought back the blonde hair as she wore vintage ski boots and a red skintight catsuit, rocked a white set with bikini bottoms while riding a red toy car, and posed topless with skates and tiny shorts. Her Instagram post which includes both BTS photos and ads says the reality star “takes off for the holiday season in new SKIMS collection,” and you can see it all below:

At first glance, I can honestly see why fans would mistake Kardashian for Hilton and Beyoncé.

If you look at the Cowboy Carter artist’s Instagram, she will occasionally use the grainy filter Kim K. used to make her photos and videos look vintage. Plus, the long blonde hair is a look Queen Bey has been rocking for a very long time. So, it’s understandable why folks posted comments like these:

Maybe, Kardashian could use this moment to get Hilton and Beyoncé to do a SKIMS campaign. So far, celebrities like Usher, Sabrina Carpenter and more have donned SKIMS. It wouldn’t be Paris Hilton’s first time collaborating with the brand either, so it would be amazing to see them back together again. And while Beyoncé collaborating with this company feels more like a far-off dream than reality, it’s still fun to imagine the possibilities.

Overall, if there’s one thing this post truly proved it’s that Kim K. knows how to get people talking with a SKIMS campaign. From dropping looks similar to what Bianca Censori was wearing, which got people talking about whether she was trolling Kanye, to doing a commercial where she played an engineer managing Kim “Klones,” she seems to be down for anything. This vintage winter-themed ad proved that once again.

In the end, this random debate about whether Kim Kardashian looked like Paris Hilton or Beyoncé was a fun little social media moment, and I can’t really blame fans for getting into it, because they’re right! While she doesn’t look like either of them normally, in this shoot, I can totally see the resemblance.

Every October, your favorite celebrities go completely all out for Halloween, whether it be for star-studded parties, social media splendor or for the simple pleasures of playing dress up on their own terms. From Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s incredible couple costumes, to Florence Pugh embracing her Guy Fieri hair, celebrities went off for 2023 Halloween celebrations. 

This is an odd year for celebrities and Halloween considering SAG-AFTRA actually discouraged actors from dressing up as movie characters amidst the ongoing actors strike. However, that certainly didn’t stop big names from doing the most for the spooky holiday. Check them out: 

Keke Palmer as The Bride of Frankenstein 

2023 has been a particularly big year for Keke Palmer since she recently welcomed her first child in February with boyfriend Darius Jackson. 10-month-old Leodis Andrellton Jackson had an epic first Halloween as the Doctor Frankenstein to Palmer’s incredible Bride of Frankenstein costume. The mother and son went all out with a black-and-white photoshoot playing homage to the 1935 classic. That’s not all Keke Palmer did though; she also channeled Disney’s Life-Size by dressing up as Tyra Banks’ Barbie-esque character on Instagram. 

Florence Pugh as Guy Fieri 

Midsommar and Don’t Worry Darling star Florence Pugh has been rocking bleach blonde short hair as of late, which made for the perfect opportunity for her to be the Mayor of Flavortown this Halloween! The Oscar-nominated actress put on a fake beard and yellow sunglasses alongside A Good Person co-star Zoe Lister-Jones. 

The Riverdale Gals as The Gotham City Sirens 

Riverdale may be over following its series finale over the summer, but the ladies from the long-running show are still besties. After Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch channelled the Hocus Pocus witches last year, the trio went as the Gotham City Sirens this Halloween. Mendes was Catwoman, Petsch was Poison Ivy and Reinhart went for a classic Harley Quinn costume. 

Sarah Hyland as Seemingly Ranch

Not long after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship took off, the couple inspired a meme called “ketchup and seemingly ranch” after a meal Swift was photographed eating during a Chiefs game she attended went viral. While tons of people reportedly dressed up as the couple this Halloween, Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland and husband Wells Adams thought outside the box and dressed up as the two condiments instead.  

Kelsea Ballerini as Barbie 

Anyone else surprised that literally everyone on this list didn’t go as a character from Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie? Country pop star Kelsea Ballerini wasn’t afraid to go for the most popular choice, as she went as Margot Robbie’s Stereotypical Barbie in her hot pink western outfit and absolutely slayed! She is a spitting image of the Barbie lead! 

Billie Eilish as Cat Ballou

Speaking of Western themes and Barbie, “What Was I Made For?” singer Billie Eilish stepped out on Halloween weekend as Jane Fonda’s character Cat Ballou from the 1965 movie Cat Ballou. It’s a deep cut to say the least, but Eilish absolutely killed it as the throwback outlaw character. 

Paris Hilton as Britney Spears 

Paris Hilton paid tribute to her friend Britney Spears by wearing her most famous music video looks. The pop culture sensation showed up to the 2023 Annual Casamigos Halloween Party wearing the “Toxic” getup Spears memorably wore in the 2004 music video for the hit song. She posted the look on her Instagram with the caption “in honor of our Queen.” It’s perfect timing too considering Spears’ viral memoir recently hit shelves. 

Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley as Glinda and Elphaba

“Lesbian Jesus”/pop singer Hayley Kiyoko and The Bachelor’s Becca Tilley went with a classic Hollywood duo in the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch costumes. The couple clearly were having a blast embodying the Wicked women this Halloween as they shared this video of themselves in costume to the sound of “Popular.” Last year, they dressed up as Scooby Doo’s Velma and Daphne, and The Addams Family’s Morticia and Gomez Addams. 

Lizzo as Tina Turner 

Lizzo is a huge fan of Halloween, often dressing in multiple costumes in one year. So far, the “Good As Hell” singer paid tribute to the late Tina Turner, who died at the age of 83 in May. The Queen of Rock n’ Roll is undoubtedly an influence to the hitmaking artist and “bop star.” Lizzo also dressed up as Elvira on Instagram, and we wouldn’t be surprised if she throws in another costume before the end of spooky season. 

Chloe Bailey as Khaleesi 

Pop singer, actress and sister to The Little Mermaid’s Halle Bailey took inspiration from George R.R. Martin’s beloved fantasy world of Game of Thrones for her costume. Chloe looked gorgeous in an armored corset and dragon eggs as the Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi.  

Kendall Jenner as Marilyn Monroe 

Kendall Jenner went for a more simple, but certainly sweet look as the one and only Marilyn Monroe this year for Halloween. Jenner effortlessly channeled the Hollywood legend in a blonde curly wig, diamond earrings, a gorgeous face of makeup and a black turtleneck. She definitely nailed her likeness!  

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker as Beetlejuice and Lydia 

Kendall’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian went for a Halloween favorite alongside husband Travis Barker this year. The married couple went as Beetlejuice and Lydia in her iconic red bride outfit, and it’s so on point! 

Justin And Hailey Bieber as Bam Bam And Pebbles 

Another solid Halloween celebrity couples costume moment comes from the Biebers, who went as Pebbles and Bam Bam from The Flintstones. They even posed with their pups for a Halloween photoshoot, and it was too cute. 

Megan Fox And Machine Gun Kelly as Kill Bill and Death Note Characters

Lastly, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox stepped out on social media with two incredible Halloween looks this year. First, the couple paid tribute to Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, which recently turned 20, as MGK dressed as The Bride and Fox as Gogo Yubari.

Nobody’s been a bigger supporter of Britney Spears over the years than Paris Hilton. Decades after the two were known to hit the clubs together, the hotel heiress said she still counts Spears as one of the few people she can trust. Hilton cheered the pop star on when she posted a topless pic to celebrate taking back control of her Instagram account, and she was there to see the “...Baby One More Time” singer marry Sam Asghari in a fairytale wedding. Now, as Spears prepares to release her memoir The Woman in Me, Hilton has shared her thoughts on how hard this project must have been.

Paris Hilton empathized with what Britney Spears must have gone through to put together a collection of her experiences, as The Simple Life star released her own memoir earlier this year. While not easy, Hilton told People she hopes her friend finds the experience as therapeutic as she did, saying: 

Having known Britney Spears for the past couple of decades, Paris Hilton knows as well as anyone the struggles that the singer has faced, and she recognized that reliving some of those terrible memories — including her breakup with Justin Timberlake and all the allegations she’s made against her family — could be painful.

She knows just how painful, too, after penning Paris: The Memoir, which revealed, among other things, turning down 7 figures to do Playboy, only to have Hugh Hefner put her on the cover anyway, and dealing with an eighth-grade teacher who had a very inappropriate crush on her. Talking those stories out turned out to be a healing experience, Paris Hilton said, and she hopes that Britney Spears gets that too.

We also learned recently that A24 has optioned Paris: A Memoir to be adapted as a TV series in a 6-figure deal that Paris Hilton will be involved in somehow, though her role isn’t yet known. Could Britney Spears see a similar treatment following the release of The Woman in Me? It certainly seems possible, given the insatiable interest that seems to surround the former pop sensation, especially after the success of the 2021 documentary Framing Britney Spears.

Lots of people are curious to see what Britney Spears will reveal in her tell-all book, especially after rumors that she’s set to reveal two affairs she’s had with Hollywood A-listers. No matter what happens next — including if her dad Jamie Spears reads the memoir or not — Paris Hilton has made it known that she’s in Britney’s corner, and she’s proud of this big project. The Woman in Me will be released October 24. 

The bazillionaire socialite whom everyone previously loved to hate and hated to love is heading back to TV in a way that fans haven’t experienced before: as a dramatized character portrayed (at least presumably) by a completely different person. That’s right, Paris Hilton is cashing in on the success and relevance of her memoir and documentary by signing on to spin her autobiographical work into a scripted TV series. The few details that we know of seem pretty sweet already, and I know exactly who should play the woman who once asked if Walmart made walls.

The forever-buzzy studio A24 stepped in and optioned Paris: A Memoir to adapt as an episodic TV show, and it would appear as if the execs are highly invested in the project, quite literally, as the deal was reportedly worth six figures, with Dakota Fanning's producer banner also involved. The book made both headlines and heads turn when it was released in March 2023, as the former The Simple Life co-star shared many candid anecdotes from her storied life, including landing on the cover of Playboy and dealing with an eighth grade teacher with a crush on her, and one can only imagine that the TV version of things will also cause a stir or two.

Paris Hilton is said to be part of the upcoming adaptation in some way, shape, or form, but the details of her involvement were not detailed at this point. Now, I think we can all agree there would be a weirdly wonderful appeal to having Hilton portraying herself within the show, especially since the crew wouldn’t need to do much to de-age her. But I have an inaruable pitch for who would truly rock out as the House of Wax vet. 

Kaitlyn Dever, Y'All

Anyone who’s familiar with at least three projects from Kaitlyn Dever’s filmography knows that the actress works wonders in whatever role she takes, regardless of genre, tone, or amount screentime. Comedy? Look no further than Booksmart and her years on Last Man Standing. Straight drama? Dever was aces in Unbelievable, Dopesick and Short Term 12. And she’s no stranger to outside-the-borders fare such as Justified — Lorette McCready for life! — Monsterland and, most recently, Hulu’s invasion thriller No One Will Save You. So there’s nothing in my mind that thinks she wouldn’t be able to spin a multi-dimensional performance out of playing Paris Hilton. 

In the same vein, Kaitlyn Dever has all the cred in the world to instantly legitimize the objectively bonkers concept of “an A24 Paris Hilton movie,” in the same way Daniel Kaluuya producing the Barney movie for the studio makes it seem less ridiculous. Not that Hilton’s life informing a high-profile TV drama is nearly as weird now in the post-prestige TV era as it would have been a decade ago, but there are no doubt plenty of potential viewers who would need a good reason to be swayed into watching. And good reason, thy name is Kaitlyn.

And this is probably not as important as anything else, because Hollywood magic, but Dever is also at the perfect age where she could play a younger Paris without much work needed (beyond loads of blonde hair dye, naturally), and also wouldn’t need much touching up to play a version of Hilton closer to current day. 

Less Logical Dream-Casting Idea: Krysten Ritter

Wouldn't it be a uniquely fascinating trip to see Krysten Ritter in IT Girl mode as Paris Hilton?  I won't spend a whole lot of time trying to convince anyone about this one, since it would seemingly be far less likely to come together, considering Ritter and Hilton are so close in age. But if for some reason A24's head honchos aren't paying attention to my ideas about Dever, they could at least settle on my second choice, amirite? (This show would give the Love and Death co-star a whole different way to get drunk on TV than her time as Jessica Jones' titular badass, too.)

At this point, there's no telling when this new project will begin casting, or when that news will eventually reach future audiences, but I'll be here singing Kaitlyn Dever's praises all the while. In the meantime, our 2023 TV premiere schedule has more than enough small-screen fare to dig into while also wondering who the show will get to play the Kardashians and Nicole Richie. 

Having your life scrutinized by the public is part of what comes with being a celebrity — for better or worse. While it can understandably be frustrating when prying eyes threaten people’s privacy, there’s also an aspect of accountability involved, with those who may be idolized by millions of fans being held to a certain moral standard. That seems to be the goal of PETA, and the animal rights organization has butted heads with a number of celebrities over the years, calling them out publicly for practices including wearing fur, eating meat and purchasing pets from breeders, rather than adopting.

While the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals seems to have its heart in the right place, many have criticized the organization for using outrageous tactics, bullying and spreading misinformation to get its points across. Whichever side of the issue you fall on, here are some of the celebrities who definitely got on PETA’s bad side recently: 

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton drew the ire of the animal rights organization in July 2023, after she got her new Chihuahua — a reported relative of the hotel heiress’ dog Harajuku Bitch, who died in May — from a breeder rather than a shelter. A rep for PETA told TMZ: 

That wasn’t the first time PETA addressed this issue with Hilton. In 2016, a billboard was reportedly put up in Los Angeles, referring to her as “the Puppy Pimp.” 

Pete Davidson

Pete Davidson had a similar experience with the activists in 2023, after he and girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders were seen taking home a cavapoo puppy from the Manhattan pet store Citipups, following the death of his 2-year-old dog Henry. After PETA urged the actor to show some “big heart energy” by adopting, Davidson lashed out in an expletive-filled voicemail to PETA’s senior vice president of cruelty investigations Daphna Nachminovitch, in which he explained he had to get a specific dog due to his allergies. He ended his message by saying, “Fuck you, and suck my dick.” 

Kim Kardashian

For reality TV queen Kim Kardashian, it was the treatment of her two Pomeranian pups that inspired PETA to speak out in December 2022, after a video showed Sake and Sushi living in a windowless garage. The organization’s senior vice president pointed out (via Page Six) that dogs are “highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings,” imploring the billionaire businesswoman to allow Sushi and Sake inside her home.

Kardashian’s most notorious run-in with the animal activist group — the flour-bombing of 2012 — actually had nothing to do with PETA at all. Her former media strategist has admitted the “attack” on the reality queen was an inside job for publicity. It was believed at the time that PETA was responsible, despite the group denying involvement. 

Kylie Jenner

The animal rights group has also spoken out over the years to praise celebrities and TV or movie productions that show that animals don’t have to be harmed for entertainment or fashion. That was the case for Kardashian’s sister, Kylie Jenner, when the makeup mogul wore a dress with a huge (but fake) lion’s head sewn on the front. PETA praised the bold look for being “a statement against trophy hunting,” crafted from only cruelty-free materials. 

Dakota Johnson

In January of 2023, Dakota Johnson found herself in hot water with the animal activists for becoming the ambassador for Gucci’s Jackie 1961 series of handbags, with the site boasting that their products came “from distinct styles in crocodile to new favorites in python.” PETA described videos that allegedly showed animal cruelty at the slaughterhouses that provided Gucci with their skins, and asked the Fifty Shades of Grey star to commit to not wearing or promoting exotic skin as fashion. 

Brittany Mahomes

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Brittany, deleted some vacation posts in July 2023, after PETA criticized her pics that involved a dolphin. They showed Brittany “snuggling” a 400-pound dolphin as well as her and daughter Sterling Skye swimming with them. A spokesperson for the group explained what happens to dolphins under the “stressful conditions of extreme captivity,” asking her to extend her compassion for animals to include marine life. 

Joel McHale

PETA took aim at the Fox comedy Animal Control back in February 2023 for its use of live animals on its show, rather than CGI or other VFX, but the group’s statement got a bit personal with series star Joel McHale. After asking if the actor — like the aforementioned Paris Hilton — lived under a rock, PETA went on to criticize the “sickening soup of animal exploitation,” and ended its rants against McHale by saying: 

Yikes! With the series, surprisingly, being renewed, should we expect another strongly worded statement for the actor ahead of Season 2? 

Rihanna

In the weeks following Rihanna’s epic pregnancy announcement in February 2023, the soon-to-be mother of two was seen out and about wearing a full-length coat made from what PETA said was probably real fur. They offered to send her a faux fur coat, appealing to her maternal instincts with a letter that read (per TMZ): 

Whether you side with PETA or agree with the celebrities who have beefed with the organization over fashion or where they find their pets, nobody can deny that the group’s tactics are often successful in drawing attention to the issue. For that reason, we'll likely continue to see these kinds of run-ins in the future. 

As a Hollywood tastemaker throughout her pop culture career, Paris Hilton has been a part of popularizing many different trends. But one of the fixtures she helped personally kick off was that of walking around with dogs in purses, which has basically always been one of her behavioral trademarks. Today that history is viewed through a bittersweet prism, as one of Hilton’s beloved Chihuahuas, Harajuku Bitch, has died at the age of 23. 

HIlton shared the announcement through Instagram, sharing several photos of her menagerie of furry loved ones all palling around with Harajuku Bitch throughout the pup's long life. That post included a heartfelt remembrance, which you can read below:

While the world may also know Hilton for her career in reality television with shows like Cooking with Paris, The Simple Life, and Paris In Love, her dog companions have also taken significant time in the spotlight. The Daily Mail even highlighted Hilton’s trend sparking love for other, bag sized dog breeds through photos of Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and fellow pop culture icon/reality star Lindsay Lohan joining the ranks.

Eventually, the trend died down on the pop media stage, but not for Paris Hilton. While the socialite did once have an MTV show that tried to find her a "new BFF", Paris has been seen taking home new babies to join her fur family for quite some time. 

Those additions tended to make headlines, like the time TMZ reported back in 2014 that Hilton had acquired “the world’s smallest Pomeranian.” Paris Hilton’s love of her dogs was even shown in a series of commercials she’d filmed for her family’s hotel chain. Chihuahuas seem to be on the verge of a pop culture resurgence as well, thanks to the dog known as Betty being one of the best reasons to watch ABC’s Will Trent. While that’s not exactly a part of the “dogs in bags” trend, it is a testament to the lasting impression of this specific breed. Bringing much status to those dogs, enough that Disney basically cashed in on it with the Beverly HIlls Chihuahua franchise, Paris Hilton’s notoriety laid the groundwork for this scrappy variant of love bugs to steal the hearts of the world. 

The passing of a family pet is certainly a moment that contains great sorrow and reflection. Harajuku Bitch lived a lavish life with her mom and her siblings, which has left a beautiful impression through the many posts Paris Hilton has shared to show her off. 

23 years old is pretty amazing for a dog, but that still doesn’t change the fact that a loving companion has said goodbye. It is because of that sadness that we here at CinemaBlend send deep condolences to Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum for their loss.

2023 continues to be The Year of Pamela Anderson, and it seems just about everybody is here for it. (Not an invite for the exceptions to speak up.) The modeling icon and Baywatch vet released her big tell-all memoir Love, Pamela, complete with those Home Improvement accusations, just ahead of the Netflix documentary Pamela, a Love Story, and has teased more big projects were coming down the line. And what a line it turned out to be, with Anderson bringing out the iconic red swimsuit look to reveal she’s partnered up with Frankies Bikinis for her first official line of swimsuits.

Anderson and Baywatch are as connected as peanut butter and jelly — which are the worst kinds of foods to have around swimsuits — so it’s a no-brainer why the imagery below was used to kick off the new “Pamela Anderson x Frankies Bikinis” line. And it’s also a no-brainer why everyone in the comments of her Instagram post is all-in on the iconic look.  

While it would be overtly stereotypical for either of Pam Anderson’s sons to react to their mom’s post with memes of Macaulay Culkin’s aftershave bit in Home Alone, fans know that the trio’s relationship bucks such trends and expectations. And both Dylan Jagger Lee and Brandon Thomas Lee were quick to show their support for her new business and creative endeavor.

Both of the young gents received their own fair share of kind words and support following the release of Pamela, a Love Story — with Britney Spears also chiming in temporarily — for how open and honest they all are with one another.  I can't tell whether it's a fun or a frightening idea for them to have the potential icebreaker: "I see you're wearing my mom's bikini." Maybe a bit of both. Anderson herself has talked about how everything is quite cordial these days with their father Tommy Lee, so hopefully that continues to be the status quo going forward.

For those who take the plunge to see what the Barb Wire star will be selling with her first swimsuit line, the first thing you'll note is both the signature one-piece suit ($185) and its bikini counterpart ($80/top, $85/bottom) are both being sold in the shade "Anderson Red." Hell yeah. Crayola should get in on this as well. 

Other designs include the white and pink "Lace on the Beach," the bright yellow "Paradise Cove," the all-white "Surf Bunny," and the seemingly pink mesh "Pink Dream." Each are available as both one-pieces and two-pieces, though styles do differ between designs. For instance, the Surf Bunny one-piece ties across the chest with an open stomach, while the other offer full torso coverage.

Frankies recently partnered with Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney for her own bikini line, and it’s probably good for all involved that it debuted ahead of her recent palling around with co-star Glen Powell, which inevitably led to him breaking up with Gigi Paris. But let’s put the spotlight back on Pam Anderson, shall we?

Nearly 20 years ago, Hugh Hefner was on the hunt. The longtime Playboy mogul really wanted then It-girl Paris Hilton to be on the cover of his magazine, and he was furiously wooing her. He offered her money, then more money, than plenty of accommodations to try to entice her. According to Paris though, her mom would have lost her mind. 

In her upcoming memoir -- which has also yielded stories about attempting to sneak a young Khloé Kardashian into a club -- Paris Hilton wrote about the experience, and the dark side of being famous during this time. She considered all of the things Hefner offered, but kept hearing her mom’s reaction in the back of her mind; Kathy Hilton was firm doing the magazine would be “so trashy.” Still, the magazine mogul was on the hunt for a while: 

Recounting this portion of the experience, Hilton got candid about weighing her options at the time. She even said she considered appearing in Playboy, thinking it might be "awesome," but her mom was totally against it. And of course, she said she was still dealing with the ramifications of being branded a “slut” after a sex tape she had participated in was released. So, she said no. But that didn’t stop Hugh Hefner. 

In fact, in an excerpt from Paris: The Memoir (via People), Hilton describes how Hefner went out of the way to track down a photographer from an old photoshoot she’d participated in. He bought a photo of the reality star and gave her an award, allowing him to splash the photo on his cover. According to the former Simple Life star she only found out after the magazine was published.

Paris Hilton isn’t the first woman in recent weeks to talk about experiences with Hugh Hefner. Former  Girls Next Door stars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt have opened up about their experience being “recruited” at the Playboy Mansion and being asked to have sex with Hugh Hefner in front of other women – some of whom hated them. 

Though Paris Hilton was candid about needing to work through her feelings about sex in her memoir, a lot of that she says stem from her experiences with her sex tape and her boarding school and not her Playboy experience. While the cover experience was emotional, she’s been willing to go back and share pics from the Playboy mansion since. And just a couple of years after the photoshoot, she attended Hugh Hefner’s 81st birthday party at the Playboy Club (as seen in top image). 

While some women have seemingly had less-than-positive experiences, others have recalled enjoying appearing in Playboy over the years, such as Dolly Parton, who recreated her infamous Playboy cover at 75.  Pamela Anderson also recently revealed Hugh Hefner was the one person throughout her entire career whom she felt actually treated her with respect.  Heather Rae El Moussa has complicated feelings about her work with the magazine, noting she realizes it “catapulted” her career, but that she has no idea how she’s going to tell her children. A slew of other women, from Kim Kardashian to director Diablo Cody, have been featured in the past and commented about the experience. Still, clearly the magazine has a complicated legacy.

As one of the progenitors of reality TV socialite stardom, Paris Hilton has spent many years directly in the heat of the spotlight, though not always by choice. Recent years have seen the 42-year-old entering a Golden Age of sorts, rekindling friendships with Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian (seemingly), enjoying an eye-catching wedding with husband Carter Reum, and taking over TV with multiple projects. Now, Hilton is likely heading for Bestseller lists after releasing her highly anticipated memoir, fittingly titled Paris: The Memoir, in which she alleged she’d been the subject of an eighth grade teacher’s very inappropriate affections, saying it’s taken her decades to come to terms with that traumatic period in her life. 

In the book, Paris Hilton speaks about being in her early teens and gaining the attention of a young and “handsome” teacher that she dubbed “Mr. Abercrombie” (via PageSix). She claimed he told her early on that he had a crush on her, and provided her with his phone number under the provision that they both keep their out-of-school communication a secret from others. Speaking about their phone calls, Hilton said the teacher heaped on the compliments when they talked. In her words:

As a way to explain and normalize their situation, the school instructor allegedly brought up noteworthy relationships that were viewed controversial for their age differences (among other things). For one, Hilton said he would bring up Princess Diana being 13 years younger than Prince Charles when their courtship started, and pointed out that a 24-year-old Elvis Presley fell head over heels for Priscilla Presley when she was just 14 years old. 

In the book, Paris Hilton describes the teacher taking things to a more physical level on at least one occasion. She claims when her parents Rick and Kathy HIlton were out of their home at one point, "Mr. Abercrombie" took a trip to the house, and it's claimed that he pulled her to him and kissed her. That troublesome incident was reportedly interrupted by her parents, who caught the two of them in his vehicle upon returning.

Afterward, Hilton was sent away to live with her grandmother in France for the summer. Being ousted in such a way was coupled with "Mr. Abercrombie" allegedly holding her as responsible for their tryst, asking why she made him do such things. The Simple Life co-star says she wasn't able to think about that relationship again for years, and that she wasn't able to initially view it as being so inappropriate, as it would have required thinking about herself as a victim. And to head down that road was just too painful for her as a young woman. 

The release of Paris: A Memoir marks a change in that respect, with the DJ and singer also detailing stories about being raped at 15, a tragedy that was initially approached a few weeks prior to the book's release, and her side of the story regarding the notorious sex tape with Rick Salomon that helped turn her into a household name.

If you thought you’d heard all of Paris Hilton’s wildest stories, you haven’t because in her new book Paris: the Memoir the celeb revealed that she once tried to sneak a young Khloé Kardashian into a club. Not only did she attempt to get the future reality star into a bar while she was underage in a goofy way, Hilton also admitted that this event helped motivate her to become famous. 

In Hilton’s new book, she reflects on her past and tells fun stories about her party days, like the time she tried to sneak a Kardashian into a club when she was a teen. It seemed like a real stealth mission they put together, disguises and all, as the TV star wrote:

The excerpt published in The Times (via Insider) also jokes about the disguises the girls wore, which included Hilton putting her cousin “on top of somebody’s shoulders with a big trench coat.” Despite their best efforts, the young women proved to not be masters of disguise, and they were denied entry. 

However, despite their failed attempt, the reality star explained that this instance with Kardashian taught her an important lesson: 

I guess that makes sense, if you know someone who knows someone, or you are said someone, you’ll likely have a higher chance of getting beyond the velvet rope. Well, her getting denied didn’t last long, because she wrote that she was 15 then, but by the time she was 16, she was famous enough to get into clubs without questions. 

This story just further proves how close Hilton is to the Kardashian crew, and how long she’s been friends with the family. While this silly story is about Khloé, she’s not the first family member I’d associate with Paris Hilton, because she’s famously linked to Kim Kardashian. 

While the two aren’t the BFFs they once were, they’re still close. We saw the pair together recently when Kim posted a birthday message for Paris Hilton, and the two were also both at Kris Jenner’s “Iconic” Christmas party last December where Khloé famously rocked a $5,000 ornament bag. So, it's clear that the socialites are still pals, and if the two showed up at a club today, I'm positive they'd get in, no questions asked.

It’s safe to say that everyone involved with this underaged bar situation is at a point in their lives where they would also likely never get denied access to the party, based on both their age and their social status.

Kim Kardashian has rubbed shoulders with some of Hollywood’s biggest names (and has dated a few of them as well). Of course, one person that she’s been closely associated with for years now is fellow socialite and reality TV star Paris Hilton. The two were friends during the early 2000s, appearing alongside each other at numerous events. These days, the two stars don’t seem to be quite as close, and some may be wondering whether the two are still besties. Well, it would appear that they’re still close enough that Kardashian would feel compelled to wish Hilton a very Happy Birthday. 

Paris Hilton turned 42 on Friday, February 17 and, as you would expect, she received a considerable amount of love from fans and celebrities alike. Hilton herself rang in her new year of life with an Instagram post that called back to her “most iconic Y2K birthday Princess looks.” That was sweet enough, but it was truly lovely to see Kim Kardashian send her well wishes in a series of posts on her Instagram stories. The first pic, which seems to have been taken within the last few years, shows the two smiling, and Kardashian added a sweet caption:

Some probably remember that over a decade ago, the two starlets would take vacations together and participate in other fun outings. But as Us Weekly mentions, things somewhat soured by 2010 after the Simple Life alum took issue with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star allegedly ignoring and mocking her at a club. Things would turn even more when the latter commented after the Hilton heiress was arrested for cocaine possession. By 2014, the two seemed to be friendly again and, based on another one of the SKIMS founder’s posts, there’s nothing but love between them now:

To put it simply, the two stars used to be downright inseparable and, though they don’t seem to be quite as close today, they still appear to share a warm bond. In one more post, the Kardashians star wished her friend plenty of laughs in the new year, dropping another photo in the process:

Though the two haven’t been attached at the hip as they once were, their names have come up in the same headlines over the past couple of years. In 2018, many speculated whether Kim Kardashian would attend Paris Hilton’s wedding when she got engaged to former fiancée Chris Zylka. And in 2021, TikTok called out Hilton for allegedly blowing off her former BBF. Of course, those situations and more just amount to chatter and don’t necessarily paint a picture of what’s really going on. More recently, Kardashian even appeared on Hilton’s since cancelled cooking show, Cooking with Paris, and they reunited at Kathy Hilton’s holiday party last December.

The continued friendship between Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian is sure to bring comfort to those who avidly followed their exploits in the early aughts. Friends can definitely drift out of your life at certain times, and that’s something that many of us can probably relate to. But it’s those who have the tightest bonds that are eventually able to find their way back to each other. So here’s hoping that Hilton enjoys year 42 and that she and Kardashian maintain some sort of relationship.

Paris Hilton dropped a fun little picture gallery for her good friend Cade Hudson’s birthday. The snapshots for the high-powered Hollywood agent featured numerous appearances from celebrities including Drew Barrymore, Emma Roberts and Tiffany Haddish, but it was, of course, the picture featuring Britney Spears that got the most attention and not in a good way. Spears fans flooded the post claiming it looked Photoshopped and/ or dropping wild conspiracy theories about the pop singer and where she might be. 

Let’s back up, as it makes more sense (kind of) if you know the full backstory, and it starts with Britney Spears. For the last several months, the pop legend has been dropping numerous pictures and videos on her own Instagram, but many of her fans started obsessing over how many of those pictures (which admittedly, are sometimes a little unusual) were posted before and/ or seemed to be taken in her old house. This led many to believe she wasn’t actually uploading any new photos or videos at all, which led to her Instagram posts, even innocuous pictures or quotes, being flooded with messages of people asking her to go out in public or prove she was okay.

In response to all this shouting, Spears (who has deleted her whole Instagram several times) turned off the comments on most of her Instagram posts several weeks ago, but Paris Hilton has the comments on her Instagram posts on. So, when she dropped a picture featuring Britney, that I guess might look slightly weird,  fans rushed at the chance to further these wild conspiracy theories. Her post was bombarded with countless "where's Britney?" comments and more that claimed Spears wasn't actually there and was Photoshopped in later. You can check out the post below…

The fact that Spears, Hilton and Hudson are all in a photo together is not strange at all, despite what some fans have been saying. Hilton and Hudson are longtime close friends. Hudson has represented Spears at the Creative Arts Agency, and Spears and Hilton are well-known buddies, who were recently seen together at her wedding. Even setting aside the fact that Hollywood is a small bubble and random celebrities often end up in the same social situations together, these three clearly have deep personal connections, which is probably why Hilton was so surprised by the backlash.

She later commented on her own Instagram post to explain why some of the pictures might look slightly off. She also blasted the conspiracy theories as “absolutely ridiculous.” Here’s her quote…

Most of the Britney Spears-related conspiracy theories ultimately come back to the fact that some fans wish they saw the singer out and about in Los Angeles more often. They’d like her to attend more premieres or be photographed more by the paparazzi. As her husband Sam Asghari has said, however, Spears spent years of her life doing that and then was under a conservatorship. So, if she wants to mostly stay at home, fans should respect that, and if they want her to go out and be seen more with other celebs, they could probably start by not bombarding any pictures she does take with wild conspiracy theories. 

For the second straight year, pop star and pop culture icon Miley Cyrus brought her love of performing, partying and A+ duets to NBC for Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, which capped off the year in ways that truly sent some fans into orbit. The December 31 special, which was arguably the best of the 2022-2023 New Year’s programming, thankfully avoided the wardrobe malfunction that shook up last year’s airing, and entertained the masses with special appearances from Nashville legend Dolly Parton, pop star Fletcher, a certain wrecking ball, and much more.

Miley Cyrus’ fans, as was expected, ate up every single second of the special from start to finish, and have been singing the entertainer’s praises on social media before, during, and after the telecast’s performances took place. Let’s quickly run through a line of Miley-hyping posts, starting with one of the highest forms of praise to be found. (Though it definitely wasn’t alone in its superlative lauding.)

Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus didn't just bring one song to life for NBC's New Year's special, but rather a handful of huge hits, albeit in medley form. The pair jammed to "Wrecking Ball" — more on that in a sec — "I Will Always Love You," "Jolene," and Joan Jett's "I Love Rock 'N' Roll." And as many viewers would probably agree, it's never not amazing to see two generations of icons covering each other's tracks.  

Now that we've brought up one of Miley Cyrus' most iconic visuals via all things related to wrecking balls (such as giant disco balls), it seems like the best time to give the Hannah Montana vet a slowly ascending standing ovation for the New Year's special's low-key callback to her infamous performance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, by way of using the microphone stand for a bit of pole dancing.

The moment was noticed and celebrated by many, and this fan summed up a lot of people's thoughts by speaking to the ease in which it came up without making a whole lot of fanfare about it. (I wouldn't have balked at seeing her foam finger making a reappearance, though.)

Miley Cyrus also took the stage with former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne for a performance of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" that admittedly left more than a few unfamiliar fans scratching their heads over what they were watching. But for those who were into it, there was nothing not to like about it.

Making matters slightly more confusing was the fact that this was the performance where Cyrus decided to bring out her Wednesday Addams dance skills. Again, a mightily strange sight for those who somehow still haven't watched the Netflix mega-hit, but it was another reason to cherish the award-winning singer for everyone who recognized the unique dance moves.

And I think it's safe to say that viewers went somewhere far beyond berserk once fellow beloved pop star Fletcher came out for a steamy and sexy rendition of Cyrus' "Midnight Sky." They would have broken the internet with a Zoom-based duet, so the fact that they were on stage and so hands-on was all bonus for many fans out there. Below is one of the more calm and level-headed reactions...

Which is now followed by one fan's unencumbered appreciation for one very specific part of the performance. 

But for all that was highlighted above, perhaps the most WTF moment of the entire special involved Miley Cyrus taking the stage with Sia and Paris Hilton for a surprise performance of the latter's "Stars Are Blind." I won't go so far as to say it was universally beloved, as there were definitely some naysayers afoot. But by and large, people reacted similar to the person below:

This person doesn't even have time for anything else here at the beginning of 2023 other than Miley and Paris doing their thing.

Everybody loves theme parks, especially Disneyland at the holidays, and that includes famous people. The problem for celebrities, of course, is that it can be tough for some people to simply enjoy a trip to Disneyland if the massive crowds notice they’re in line next to a famous person. There are a couple of different ways this can be handled. Many celebs get special VIP treatment at Disneyland and other parks, but you can also do what Paris Hilton apparently does, and go undercover. 

Sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton were recently visiting Disneyland Resort and the two took the time to put together a little TikTok video, that unsurprisingly is going viral, where Paris gets herself bundled in Disney merchandise in order to look a little less like Paris Hilton. Check out the results below.

I can get behind some of these choices. A set of mouse ears will certainly help somebody blend into the crowd, as so many people have them. And the jacket and scarf will do their part to obscure a face. I’m not sure this really makes it any less obvious that this person is Paris Hilton. At the same time, it might prevent you from looking too closely and realizing you’re in a crowd with Paris Hilton.

There have been stories over the years of some celebrities doing something like this and wearing a disguise to visit Disneyland or other theme parks. It’s essentially required to keep famous people from being mobbed. Mark Hamill has spoken about being at Disneyland, and spending all his time taking pictures, which isn't how he likely wanted to experience the happiest place on earth.  Not too long ago we had photographic evidence that Channing Tatum visited Walt Disney World in disguise. 

Most of the time, however, a famous person visiting Disneyland gets the VIP treatment. They are usually escorted through the park by their own guide, dressed in recognizable plaid, who makes sure that they’re able to get on the ride without being hassled. This can have its downsides though. On a recent trip to Disneyland the Kardashians went viral for taking over the Mad Tea Party, much to the frustration of other guests. 

There is a, possibly slightly depressing, third option for some celebrities. Unfortunately, it seems a famous person can get to the point where they’re not famous enough to be bothered. Billy Crystal recently went to Disneyland and told a story that, even when doing his best Mike Wazowski impression next to a person decked out in Monsters Inc. gear, he was not recognized.

As a general rule, if you find yourself next to a celebrity at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, leave them be. They just want to enjoy theme parks just like you do. Maybe give them a nod and smile and move on. Tell your friends later. 

Paris Hilton played a pretty significant role in what would become the Kardashians’ eventual takeover of all things pop culture. Before Kim Kardashian was the star of her own reality show — or even the sex tape — she was Hilton’s closet organizer/assistant. Before she was all over our screens, the SKIMS founder was often seen in paparazzi pics on the arm of the hotel heiress. Fifteen years later, the former BFFs were partying together again, at what looks like a festive holiday celebration. The photos Paris shared do, indeed, look “iconic,” but I can’t help but wonder what’s going on with Kim’s outfit.

Kim Kardashian and her momager, Kris Jenner, were featured in some of the Instagram photos that Paris Hilton shared from mom Kathy Hilton’s holiday blast. Jenner wore a classic black pantsuit, while Kathy, Paris and her sister Nicky Hilton all showed off fancy, Christmas-inspired dresses. Kardashian, meanwhile, sported high-waisted leather pants and a cropped T-shirt from the Up in Smoke hip-hop tour. See the look for yourself below: 

I’m not saying the starlet looks bad at all. The 'fit is actually pretty cute. However, next to the other partygoers in formal attire, she just looks a tad underdressed for the occasion. Quite a few people apparently felt the same way, as several comments seemed to wonder if the Kardashians star was the one who needed a little closet organizing of her own. Some of the comments read:

Of course, nobody knows what conversations or thought processes went into Kim Kardashian's decision to wear that particular ensemble for the Christmas party, but it’s worth noting that she was photographed in the same clothes earlier that day, at the bar mitzvah of her nephew, Mason Disick, who just celebrated his 13th birthday. 

The caption of Paris Hilton’s post acknowledged that Kathy Hilton always throws “iconic” parties, and this certainly seemed to be one to remember. Along with the representatives of the KarJenner clan, the Hiltons’ guest list included Heidi Klum and Paula Abdul, as two the posed for photos in front of a beautiful white Christmas tree. It looks like Abdul even joined Paris Hilton behind the DJ booth, and revelers were also treated to music from a gospel choir.

Kim Kardashian has worked over the past year or so to find her own fashion sense after filing for divorce from Kanye West, but her style has come into question even more since she began re-evaluating her partnership with Balenciaga amid their BDSM ad scandal. We’ll have to see how she continues to evolve when The Kardashians returns for the 2023 TV schedule. For now, however, Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream with a Hulu subscription. 

Johnny Depp made headlines last week when he stepped into the public eye as part of Rihanna’s big Savage X Fenty show. It was the actor’s first big appearance since popping up at the 2022 MTV VMAs and it featured him in pajamas, a robe and jewelry as the celebrity model in the "Vol. 4" event. He wasn’t the only major name to appear, but his inclusion did spark some detractors online. Now others, including Paris Hilton and Adam Waldman, have defended the appearance on Depp’s own post about the gig.

After rumors Depp might appear in the Savage X Fenty show swirled thanks to a leak over at TMZ, when the show actually happened it did, in fact, include the former Pirates of the Caribbean actor. He later took to social media to show off the runway-esque look, as well as to thank Rihanna for including him in the event. You can see the post below. 

It was also a notable moment for Savage X Fenty, which has given the “star moment” to female performers in the past, including Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu. Depp is the first male celebrity to land the role. Not everyone was happy with Johnny Depp getting another major gig. While he’s performed with Jeff Beck to large crowds and kept advertising deals with Dior and more since he won the lion’s share of the defamation trial verdict against Amber Heard, some individuals took to Twitter and elsewhere to complain about the decision.

Regardless, some famous names did reach out to Depp after the Savage X Fenty show, including Paris Hilton and the actor’s former lawyer Adam Waldman. Both responded with emojis (and racked up a lot of likes) on the actor’s Instagram post, Hilton with a fire emoji and Waldman with the star collision emoji. In addition, Baywatch actress Donna D’Errico wrote the actor was “#winning.” 

If you aren’t as familiar with Waldman as you may be with the former Simple Life star, it's understandable, but it’s worth noting Waldman was a key figure in the defamation trial that took place in Virginia. In fact, it was the latter’s comments about Heard’s allegations being a “hoax” that led jurors to state Depp had defamed Amber Heard in one instance and to render a verdict of $2 million the Pirates actor would owe the Aquaman actress, though she was found to have defamed him in 3 instances for millions more. In the time since, Waldman’s name has also come up in Depp’s legal team’s appeal, as they contend they should not have to pay Amber Heard over statements a lawyer made.

Meanwhile, I’m just surprised Paris Hilton didn’t pull out a catchphrase like her “that’s hot” standby or at the very least a “sliving” for the big fashion show moment.  

Rihanna’s big show did feature a slew of other names including Cara Delvingne but also Bradley Cooper’s former partner and model Irina Shayk, model Joan Smalls and YouTube star Lilly Singh. As for the notorious actor, after a lengthy timeline of events with Amber Heard, next up you can catch Johnny Depp in a tri-corn hat for the new film Jeanne Du Barry.

Although Paris Hilton has never entirely left the pop culture consciousness, the last several years have certainly seen her make a resurgence of sorts, between being explored in the YouTube Originals documentary This Is Paris, leading the six-episode reality series Cooking With Paris (which Netflix subscribers can check out) and then doing Peacock’s Paris in Love, to making TikiTok videos with the Tom Cruise deepfake guy. Now Hilton has an erotic thriller lined up on her list of professional endeavors, and it will see her co-starring alongside Pamela Anderson. Uh, yes please!

These two actresses are just some of the talent that’s been assembled for Alone at Night, which was previously called 18 & Over and has been acquired by Vertical Entertainment for North American distribution. Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson will be joined by Pretty Little Liars’ Ashley Benson, Wednesday’s Luis Guzmán, Extraction’s Lindsey Pelas, Lords of Dogtown’s John Robinson, Huracán’s Cassius Corrigan, Baby Driver’s Sky Ferreira, model Winnie Harlow, musician G-Eazy (who also composed the movie’s score) and rapper A$AP Nast, with social media influencers Twan Kuyper, Steven Spence, Cheyrelle Fontenette, Shannon Hamilton and Clara McGregor also being part of the cast. Jimmy Giannopoulos directed Alone at Night and co-wrote the script with Diomedes Raul Bermudez.

Alone at Night stars Ashley Benson as Vicky, a young woman who’s just gone through a breakup and is looking for an escape. She ends up going to her friend’s remote cabin in the woods, where she continues to model lingerie for her followers on 18 & Over, an adults-only live streaming website. However, things take a turn when the cabin loses power and Vicky finds herself facing off against a crowbar-wielding masked killer who’s determined to end her night on a bloody note.

Jimmy Giannopoulos said the following in an official statement shared with Deadline about his work on Alone at Night:

Just like with the other actors besides Ashley Benson, it wasn’t revealed who Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson will play in Alone at Night, though it’s entirely possible that they could end up appearing as fictional versions of themselves. This will be Hilton’s first time performing in a feature-length film since 2008’s Repo! The Genetic Opera, with her other acting credits including the House of Wax remake, Snakes on a Plane, National Lampoon’s Pledge This! and episodes of shows like The O.C., Veronica Mars and Supernatural. 

Pamela Anderson is best known for playing C.J. Parker on the original Baywatch series, and she briefly reprised the role in the 2017 Baywatch movie (which she ended up not liking). Anderson was also recently portrayed by Lily James in Pam & Tommy (which can be viewed with a Hulu subscription), though Anderson herself allegedly refused to watch the limited series.

For almost two years now, Miles Fisher and Chris Umé have been posting deepfake videos of Tom Cruise to viral success. Now Paris Hilton is getting in on it. The media personality has just teamed up with the account to create something of a dream sequence of the Top Gun star wearing a robe and serenading her at home, because this is where we are now. This’ll be a good one for the 2022 time capsule to look back on and try to explain to the kiddies. 

Paris Hilton recently took to her TikTok to share a video of herself and the deepfake Tom Cruise, and it’s already getting a lot of attention. In the post, Tom Cruise sings Elton John and Britney Spears’ “Hold Me Closer,” and once again our jaws have dropped about this technology. Check it:

In the video, Paris Hilton asks the faux Tom Cruise to “sing that song again” as they both sip out of shiny mugs in comfy clothing. Miles Fisher, who has the interpolated face of Tom Cruise placed on the video in post, belts the song and it sounds just like Tom Cruise’s voice. As he continues to sing, he pulls some pink sunglasses out of his robe pocket, which goes on one of Paris Hilton’s pups as she holds it. 

Hilton seems into it, but as soon as Cruise stops singing she says it was “good but not great,” dryly telling him to “stick to acting” before walking away. Cruise agrees as he sits by himself, saying “Yeah, I probably should.” It’s a fun and trippy video that had viewers saying “I’m very confused but I’m vibing” and “What is going on?” 

With TikTok being as big as it is, it’s simply a TikTok collaboration that Paris Hilton and the deepfake Tom Cruise account “deeptomcruise” want to go viral. Previously, the two accounts made another video together where Hilton and Cruise were going to a premiere together, and it received 1.5 million views. Here it is: 

It’s so convincing isn’t it? This all started when Miles Fisher got into acting in Hollywood, working alongside actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Owen Wilson and Angelina Jolie, among others, and would always be told how much he looked like Tom Cruise. While at first Fisher felt like he “failed” to always be compared to Cruise, he started to collaborate with VFX artist Chris Umé on the deepfake videos that now make up the TikTok account. 

Since the deepfake Tom Cruise videos have gone viral, there’s also been some concerns out there about the right the boys have to imitate the actor’s likeness for their own viral success. Umé has shared that he’s emailed Cruise asking if they don’t like what he’s doing, but he never received any word to take their content down. When asked about the concerns over the technology itself, Fisher has called it “morally neutral,” explaining that he believes the “the positive output will so far outweigh the negative, nefarious uses.” 

Tom Cruise isn’t the only celebrity getting deepfakes done with their faces and likenesses. A deepfake account for Keanu Reeves popped up early this year and Bruce Willis supposedly sold his deepfake rights following his retirement from acting, saying it’s a “great opportunity to go back in time.” Later, Willis' rep shared that there was no such agreement in place with deepfake. 

While the faux Tom Cruise is serenading Paris Hilton, the real one pulled off the biggest blockbuster of 2022 in Top Gun: Maverick and has another big one on the way with the 2023 movie release, Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, hitting theaters on July 14. 

Elton John is on a roll when it comes to bringing his songs to life in new ways. After "Cold Heart" with Dua Lipa, he teamed up with Britney Spears’ for his latest collaboration ‘Hold Me Closer.’ The song seems to have caught on, hitting the Billboard charts this week and competing for a U.K. #1 title. One other person who apparently agrees the song has something special is Spears’ pal Paris Hilton. This time around though, she did more than throw out her signature “that’s hot” catchphrase to boot. 

I mean, honestly, if Spears takes back her Instagram with a topless photo or does something else memorable, the socialite and reality TV star has responded “that’s hot.” Every once and awhile Paris Hilton will accentuate a post with another of her catchphrases, “sliving,” but she’s generally pretty brief in regards to her thoughts. 

Not here, though. This time around, there’s video! In fact, Hilton went all out, throwing on dreamy pink and dancing around her signature pink car while singing the song lyrics. She accompanied the post with a longer message congratulating her pal and noting she has the song “on repeat.” 

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have a long history of being in each others’ lives. They were seen out and about together in the early aughts. (The pic is worth it just to see the fashion.) 

Spears even accepted a VMA from The Simple Life star back in 2008. She later invited her to her wedding, after which Hilton gushed about the “magical fairytale” setting when she wed Sam Asghari and more. (Spears did not attend Hilton’s wedding, though reports indicate she was invited.) Now, she seems overwhelmingly positive about where her pal’s career is headed too. 

Of the collaboration, Spears has also seemed grateful and excited. After having deleted her Instagram, Spears took to Twitter to talk about teaming up with Elton John and the point she’s at currently in her career, noting,

Whether “Hold Me Closer” ends up landing Britney Spears a No. 1 hit, there’s no doubt the song marks a big moment for the pop singer. Spears previously seemed as if she was in retirement and had no plans to sing, record or perform again. Her agent said in 2021 that he and Spears hadn’t communicated or worked together for 2 and a half years. Now, she's seemingly back at it in some capacity, which is good news for the fans who have been waiting six years for new music. 

Spears had been busy celebrating the end of her conservatorship and wedding her partner Sam Asghari. You can only celebrate a new beginning for so long, however, and in this case the singer has a large fanbase who clearly were ready for her to make a musical comeback, particularly after all that's gone on with the "Free Britney" movement. What this song means for Spears’ future is still up in the air, but it’s nice to know she has options. That’s hot. 

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears’ friendship has certainly stood the test of time. A lot has happened in the past two decades since The Simple Life star and the pop princess were often seen out and about together. Knowing everything that Spears has endured — including the 13 years she was under her family’s conservatorship — only adds to Hilton’s joy at seeing her friend get her fairytale wedding, as she married Sam Asghari on June 9. Even weeks later the hotel heiress is still gushing about that epic night, as well as how she feels about her longtime friend.

A Cinderella-like carriage, golden-hooved horses and even an iconic musical number from Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton and her mother Kathy Hilton were all a part of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s big day. Paris said seeing her friend be able to overcome so much to reach this point made her “so proud,” and when asked about her favorite part of the festivities, she told ET:

Paris Hilton has been consistently supportive of Britney Spears over the years and is a frequent presence in her friend’s Instagram comments. Following the magical wedding — whose guest list included big names like Drew Barrymore and Madonna, but none of Spears’ family members — the Paris in Love star had only glowing things to say about the “Lucky” singer. In Hilton’s words:

Given that Paris Hilton doesn’t trust people easily, it’s saying a lot that she’s still close with Britney Spears after so many years. And I’m sure Spears equally appreciates having Hilton in her corner. Although the singer regained her freedom when a judge ended her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, she continues to fight with her family in court (even though her mom Lynne said she just wants her “to be happy,”)and ahead of their wedding, she and Sam Asghari suffered a miscarriage. 

Even the big day itself wasn’t without drama, as Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander crashed the ceremony and was arrested and charged with trespassing, battery, vandalism and felony stalking.

Hopefully Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are now able to settle into married life, and maybe fellow newlyweds Paris Hilton and Carter Reum will visit Spears in her new digs, as she and her husband just purchased a new house close to Kevin Federline and her two sons.

After six years of dating and a nine-month-long engagement, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari finally tied the knot on June 9. Only a bit of trouble marred the festivities. Namely, Spears’ first ex-husband tried to crash the wedding and police had to show up as a result. But other than that, the day was seemingly picture perfect, as seen in the fairytale footage recently released by the pop icon. (And her buddy Paris Hilton is here for it as much as I am.)

In a video posted to her Instagram, the 40-year-old shared a ton of inside looks into the celebrations. There was a literal Cinderella-like carriage being pulled by a golden-hooved horse. (No, seriously.) Britney Spears was wearing a custom Donatella Versace white gown. The clip even shows the happy couple exchanging their vows in front of a gigantic wall of pink and white roses. Spears called it a fairytale herself in the caption, and newly minted husband Sam Asghari wrote in the comments that it was something “out of a movie.” Check out the full post here:

Paris Hilton, who just got married herself in November, sat in the front row of the nuptials alongside her mom, Kathy Hilton. She has long been a supporter of Britney Spears, especially amidst her conservatorship battle making headlines for the last year. And in the comments of the BTS post, the Simple Life alum gushed about her friend deserving every bit of this new future she’s building, saying:

In a different Insta collage, the Grammy winner revealed some other details about her wedding, too. She candidly admitted that nerves on the big day prompted a panic attack right beforehand but that she ultimately “got it together.” Good thing, too, because there were quite a few big names in attendance besides just Paris Hilton.

Britney Spears name dropped a few among the star-studded guest list, such as Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez and Madonna. Evidently, Spears has a “girl crush” on Barrymore and she/Madonna recreated their infamous 2003 MTV Video Music Awards kiss at the wedding. She added that she “danced into the night” with Paris Hilton, who reiterated in the comments that it was an “epic night.”

It's no secret that the former X Factor judge has been dealing with more than her fair share of issues of late. Even with her controversial conservatorship ended, there’s still the matter of prosecuting those responsible for her reported mistreatment under the legal arrangement, particularly her father. Not to mention, she and Sam Asghari just suffered a miscarriage in May, and the way they handled it afterward generated some backlash for the couple.

They’re still looking forward to having a kid at some point. It is now Britney Spears and Sam Asghari for a lifetime, after all, right? And whatever happens, it's fair to assume that their fans, and celebrity friends like Paris Hilton, will continue to show their support.

Britney Spears may not have performed since 2018, but the longtime pop star is definitely deserving of a break. Over the last several months, she’d been embroiled in an ongoing court case to get her conservatorship rescinded. After successfully doing this, she’s made moves from getting engaged to selling her longtime property, and also enjoying freedoms like driving again. Now, after all that, she’s taking a break and on vacation with fiancé Sam Asghari where she's seemingly having the time of her life, showing off her engagement ring, laying around on the beach naked, etc. Of course, Paris Hilton had some thoughts.

First of all, Ms. Spears’ delightful vacation began with a plane ride. Whilst on the plane, she showed off her huge ring from Mr. Asghari, to whom she got engaged back in November of last year. Though the two had decided to take a trip to celebrate his birthday, she definitely kicked it off with the ring he’d gotten her to signify their shared love.

If you’ll note, Spears has the ring on her right hand, but her fiancé responded on the Instagram post, “It’s on the right hand because we don’t follow rules!” So, there you have it, folks. Next stop, they made it to the beach, where Britney Spears fully basked in the sunlight. This is where Paris Hilton comes in.

The ‘...Baby One More Time” singer's images caught the eye of heiress and reality star Paris Hilton, who has been known to go all out on a vacation or two herself. This time around on the post above she marked “Sliving,” and indeed it does look like the singer is living her best life. 

In a separate post Comments by Celebs also caught Paris Hilton throwing back to her iconic quote to celebrate the vacation as well, because of course she did.

Perhaps my favorite comment about Britney Spears’ big beach adventure came from voice actor and musician Rosie Okumura, who noted “It’s Britney, beach.” I’ll take an “it’s hot” comment any day, but she may have you there, Ms. Hilton. Meanwhile, Spears is just getting her vacation started, so I assume this is only the tip of the iceberg with these sorts of posts. 

To note, this isn’t the first big trip Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have taken as a couple. The two were actually already jet-setting around earlier in 2022 when they went to Maui and also lived the beach life for a few days. There should be plenty more jet-setting in their future, so stay tuned. 

In the realm of reality TV and celebrity socialites, there are few people busier than Paris Hilton. The starlet still has her public engagements and handles hosting duties for her podcast, This is Paris. She also just tied the knot with businessman Carter Reum back in November 2021. And if that weren’t enough, she entered the world of streaming through her Netflix cooking show, Cooking with Paris. The series, however, was just confirmed to be cancelled by the streamer, yet the star was preoccupied with other things when the news broke. In fact, when the news was reported, she was busy promoting her other streaming series.

Cooking with Paris aired only one six-episode season before being cancelled by Netflix. The series highlighted the titular host’s love for the culinary arts while also showing the pitfalls that come with her kitchen-oriented endeavors. The show also featured a number of her famous friends like Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato and Saweetie. Despite this, the show was barely able to crack the streamer’s Top 10 trending list following its debut in August, as mentioned by Deadline. While Paris Hilton is likely sorry to see the show go, her social media accounts show that she’s been making attempts to bump up the other show she currently has at the moment, Paris in Love. Paris in Love chronicles how Paris Hilton and Carter Reum planned their dream wedding. The series, which premiered back in November, has covered a wide range of events in the couple’s road to the altar, including engagement and bachelorette parties as well as intimate outings with friends and family. And speaking of the latter, other Nicky Hilton and mom Kathy (who appears set to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) are also featured prominently. 

The reality TV veteran (who still gets plenty of offers) seems quite proud of the show, so much so that she’s also promoting it on Twitter. On the same day, she posted the same clip to her account, and fans seem to be taking notice. But what seemed to really catch their attention was a post that included a few snapshots from her honeymoon, which are also a nice way to create buzz for upcoming episodes. Paris Hilton and Carter Reum were ultimately married on November 11, 2021, in what turned out to be an elaborate ceremony. The first phase of the celebration took place at her late grandfather’s Bel-Air mansion and was attended by a number of high-profile celebrities. Things later moved to the Santa Monica Pier, where guests were treated to a carnival-themed party. Just hearing about it would be enough to get some excited, and fans will surely be pumped to see it actually play out on the show. 

If there’s one thing that can be said about Paris Hilton, it’s that she doesn’t let any grass grow under her feet. She’s a woman of action and has no problem keeping herself busy. Cooking with Paris’ cancellation may be disappointing for some fans but, with her go-getter attitude, I’m sure she’ll have something else to add to her small-screen repertoire.

When we think of dreamy, fairytale weddings, we might often imagine Disney's Cinderella and Prince Charming or one of those real-life British royalty ones. Well, surprise, surprise, we’ll have to add Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s extravaganza to the running list. The two had been dating since 2019 before Reum, a venture capitalist, proposed in February. (And no, in case you're wondering, they’re not pregnant - yet) Now, they're officially married and, not so surprisingly, a carnival was involved in their nuptials.

The star-studded ceremony itself was apparently very elaborate. Per TMZ, it initially took place in Bel Air at Paris Hilton’s late grandfather’s McMansion on Thursday night, with 1,000 white roses draped down the aisles and what looked like 1,000 white lights on the ceiling. Not to mention, the reality star had four – yes, four – different wedding dresses for the auspicious day. The primary look, though, seems to be a flower-embroidered Oscar de la Renta gown. On Instagram, Hilton posted a partial glance of herself from the occasion, with the caption, “My forever begins today…” See here:

Several of Paris Hilton’s close A-List celeb friends were in attendance for her marriage. Her Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie was there, along with the likes of Paula Abdul, Bebe Rexha and Emma Roberts, with Kim Kardashian pulling train duty and Demi Lovato moonlighting as a wedding singer.

And obviously, the high-rolling Hilton family didn't just stop there for the starlet's first march down the aisle. The festivities have evidently continued every day since. According to TMZ, they threw a carnival-themed party at Santa Monica Pier yesterday – and, now, I'm just imagining Christine Quinn's engagement party on Selling Sunset on a much bigger and better scale. The family also held a more formal black and white tie party today with more celebrations reportedly to continue this coming week. You only get married once… right?

All the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation for the Bel Air wedding was documented for fans to see in the Peacock series Paris in Love. Reportedly, Paris Hilton’s wedding preparations were the actual reason behind her mom Kathy Hilton being missing from filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' upcoming season of late.

Both Kathy Hilton and sister Kyle Richards, another Real Housewife, are featured in Paris in Love and, judging from the trailer alone, it would appear that drama is not solely exclusive to the Bravo network. (Apparently, the infamous It Girl of the early 2000s was having some serious hesitations and family problems in the lead up to the big day.) But then again, drama and being in the public eye are not new things to Paris Hilton anyway. Here’s hoping that Kathy can muster up more of it for the upcoming season of Beverly Hills.

A lot of people are beyond obsessed with celebrities and their assorted relationships at varying stages. And, while it's pretty natural to have at least a passing interest in how Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are handing their divorce, or how the rekindled romance between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck makes their many friends and family members feel, we also tend to think a lot about which famous folk are may or may not be in the process of procreating. Well, not long after word began to spread that the former star of The Simple Life, Paris Hilton, was expecting her first child, Hilton opened up with a great response.

It would appear that Paris Hilton does not have time for your rumors, OK? When the socialite recorded the latest episode of her podcast, This Is Paris, she took time out to address the swirling rumors of her supposed impending motherhood. The star, who became engaged to venture capitalist Carter Reum in February after dating for a year, talked about waking up "to about three thousand texts" from people congratulating her. The DJ then calmly announced that she was pregnant with triplets, and thanked everyone for their well wishes before adding:

Paris Hilton explained that her wedding is coming up in 2022, and that her dress is currently being made and she wants to make sure it fits for her big day. Both Hilton and Reum have been quite honest about wanting to begin a family, and the former reality star even opened up, back in January, about starting IVF treatments to make their dream a reality. But, the star said that right now they've put their plans for children on hold so that they can prepare for the wedding.

Aside from wedding preparations and podcasting, Paris Hilton has been plenty busy lately. She recently finished shooting a cooking show for Netflix, Cooking with Paris, which will feature the previously mentioned Kim Kardashian and will debut on the streamer on August 4. Hilton is also currently filming a new docuseries for Peacock, Paris In Love, that will show the journey to her nuptials.

The topless photo itself comes after several posts last week that conveyed what Britney Spears really thinks about her life situation. She alluded to her loved ones trying to “save face” after allowing her to struggle under the conservatorship for so long. The details coming out in recent weeks seemed to confirm those rumors. Technically, Britney Spears’s conservatorship is still in place for now. Although, if these social media posts and her newfound blunt honesty are any indication, it might just be the beginning of the end of it.

Sometimes the Internet can be a deep, dark place, but other times it can connect the dots between key pieces of information in ways that can be hilarious, cringe-y, or sometimes both. In the book, one of the mantras Hilton lives by is “why have one cellphone when you can have many?” Kind of amusing, but why this is hilarious will become clear. Take a look.

This would be seemingly innocuous, except a while back, there was a clip of Keeping up with the Kardashians’ Kim Kardashian trying to “keep up” with her pal and not getting a text back. Paris Hilton really was one of the major figures spawning the reality TV craze in the early aughts with her reality debut A Simple Life opposite Nicole Richie and follow-ups such as Paris Hilton's My New BFF and The World According to Paris. While she says she still fields reality series pitches nearly every day, it was in the early 2000s that she was the hot name and Kim Kardashian was kind of her pal and hangar on. Kardashian herself has acknowledged she owes her career to Hilton and she “totally acknowledge[s] that.”

The two are still friendly, and Kardashian appeared in a music video with her former pal back in 2019. Still, given how things have changed over the years, the TikTok above is really satisfying from multiple angles. It's super watchable and a good effort from user Shannon Burns to have connected those dots.

Paris Hilton’s own TikTok recently featured some other gems including “fear nothing but insects” and “normal hours are for normal people. It reunited Hilton with her original co-star and good friend, Nicole Richie, who made the show to me.

Unlike Hilton, Nicole Richie has continued her television career. That said, it did not keep an established reality series from wanting Hilton to star in it. You may have heard of it -- The Hills. Yes, that MTV reality series and, apparently, there's been more than one attempt, according to Hilton. On the offer, she said:

It is worth noting that Paris Hilton’s aunt, Kyle Richards, does star in a reality show, which Hilton has made appearances on a few times. That show is none other than Andy Cohen’s Real Housewives franchise. Richards has starred on the show since the beginning, recently sharing the screen with Denise Richards. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like Hilton will once again our screens as a reality TV star anytime soon.

Hilton starred in the FOX-turned-E! reality show, The Simple Life, from 2003 to 2007, during Hilton’s friend Nicole Richie served as a co-star. So following her own reality days, why does Hilton think the Kardashians are ending their storied series, Keeping Up with Kardashians? She shared her thoughts with Entertainment Tonight, saying:

The Kardashian-Jenners had previously decided not to share every part of their private life with viewers ahead of its latest season, leading to boundaries being established. However, as Paris Hilton probably knows, there is a toll to constantly living your life in front of the cameras. To that point, Kourtney Kardashian had already opted to step away from the show ahead of the series-ending announcement, citing the toxicity of the environment.

Paris Hilton ended up walking away from The Simple Life after five seasons. That investment is obviously less than the time that the Kardashian-Jenners have poured into Keeping Up with Kardashians. Of course, as Hilton mentioned, there has been more to the Kardashians’ lives than reality TV. They've also built some mega-successful businesses, creating a lot of obligations for them to juggle. Hilton went on to say:

One factor that Paris Hilton brings up as the cause of the cancellation is money. After the Kardashian-Jenner family announced the show would be ending, rumors circulated that the family would have been willing to continue but recoiled at the money offered to continue.

Still, as the show prepares to end, it could feature more of Rob Kardashian, so there's that. And to its credit, Keeping Up with the Kardashians did manage to find a way to continue filming despite the coronavirus quarantine. The series’ penultimate season will premiere next week, so you can expect more drama.

Keeping Up with Kardashians will return for its Season 19 premiere on Thursday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET. The reality show is one of this fall’s new offerings. The series’ twentieth and final season is expected to air sometime during 2021.

For the past couple years, Paris Hilton has been the victim of severe hacking. Now, the hacker-in-question will be put behind bars. As it was recently reported, from 2015 to 2017, a woman named Paytsar Bkhchadzhyan has made the media starlet's glamorous life a living hell. Paystar stole not only nude photos of Hilton but also thousands of dollars from the tabloid-famous former reality TV star as well. In fact, it's estimated Paris Hilton had at least $120,000 taken from her accounts, and Paystar Bkhchadzhyan will soon be sentenced to an extended prison stay. Here's what happened to The Simple Life star.

TMZ reported on Paris Hilton's traumatic ordeal. Paytsar Bkhchadzhyan also reportedly stole from two other people, but Paris Hilton is considered to be the most high profile. According to the legal documents, Bkhchadzhyan tapped into Hilton's bank accounts and then went to town on a spending spree. Most notably, she used the star's credit card information to make reservations at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood for a New Year's Eve bash in 2015. That event alone wound up costing $40,000, which was all charged to Hilton's credit cards. The hacker was also known to adopt Paris Hilton's identity to receive more money. By pretending to be Hilton, Paystar Bkchadzhyan was able to receive an additional $80,000 from Hilton's assistant. And that's not the only thing the hacker stole from Paris Hilton.

As mentioned above, in addition to the heft stack of cash, Paytsar Bkhchadzhyan also reportedly grabbed some revealing photos of Paris Hilton from her iCloud account. It's unknown what Paytsar did with the nude photos, or what her intentions were when she had them. Was she planning to leak them online, or was she going to use them to blackmail the media star into more money? It's hard to know at this time. Of course, if the photos were leaked, Paris Hilton certainly wouldn't be the only celebrity to wind up in a nude photo scandal in recent years. Nevertheless, it was likely a scary situation for Paris Hilton.

In addition to Paris Hilton, Paytsar Bkhchadzhyan also hacked into accounts for other members of the Hilton family, including Rick Hilton, Paris Hilton's father, and Nicky Hilton, Paris's sister. Paystar did this in order to grab more account information from Paris Hilton. In any case, Paytsar's thieving is going to have some serious consequences. She was caught last year, which is when she plead guilty of fraud conspiracy. Bkhchadzhyan is expected to be sentenced tomorrow, and the court isn't expected to take it easy on her. She'll potentially receive upwards of 57 months in prison, along with three years of supervised release. Additionally Paytsar is expected to pay back her victims, with a total of $318,535. So, Paris Hilton should get her money back... eventually.

As Paris Hilton prepares for her upcoming wedding, one question lingers: will Nicole Richie be attending the nuptial ceremony? That question was put to rest recently, by the heiress herself. In an interview about her recent activities, Paris Hilton revealed that, yes, her fellow Simple Life co-star will attend. Here's what Paris Hilton said.

In addition to Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton confirmed that Britney Spears is also on the guest list, as well as Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West. Entertainment Tonight got the details from Hilton, while catching up with the star/periodical DJ when she showed up for the launch of boohoo.com's spring collection. Kim Kardashian West and her hubby were RSVPed for the event months ago, in fact. It's not clear if Rihanna is attending the ceremony as well, although it's worth noting that Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka were among the very few people invited to the pop singer's exclusive 30th birthday bash last month. If Paris Hilton got invited to that, one figures Hilton will extend the favor to Rihanna too, right? Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but we'd guess she'll at least get an invite.

While Nicole Richie will be appearing at Hilton's wedding with Chris Zylka, it's unclear if or when the TV stars will be seen again on the tube. Hilton is open to rebooting The Simple Life, but she isn't sure when she wants to do it yet. While the offer has been extended to Paris Hilton since her reality TV show ended a little over 10 years ago in 2007, it's not her first priority at this moment.

Paris Hilton announced her engagement to Chris Zylka at the top of the new year. The disaster has been blazing for days as fire officials and crews try to get it under control. The Santa Ana wind fuels the fire, and the lack of rain in California only adds to the problem. In some regions, like Ojai, officials have warned about unhealthy smoke and toxins in the air. In fact, the South Coast Air Quality Management District made a statement and said people should stay indoors at all times if possible to avoid breathing in toxins. The news coming in from SoCal is devastating and scary. Hopefully, everyone--not just the celebs--can find safety elsewhere.

Two of the most celebrated albums of 2016 came from Rihanna and Beyonce, but only Beyonce's Lemonade managed to get an Album of the Year nomination from the Grammys. Rihanna fan vented about his anger that ANTI didn't get the big nomination, and accused the awards show of purposefully short-changing Rihanna in order to keeping the spotlight on Beyonce. Surprisingly, Rihanna actually liked the shady post, but as Us Weekly reported, later went on to clarify that she hadn't read the full caption and didn't approve of the Instagram user pitting black women against one another.

Ashley Greene posts shady message after Joe Jonas AMA

Joe Jonas gave Reddit users everything they could have wanted in an AMA in 2016, unabashedly discussing various intimate details about his private life. One of those stories was about how he lost his virginity, which he said was to a past girlfriend named Ashley. It didn't take long for fans to realize he was talking about Twilight actress Ashley Greene, whom Jonas dated years back. Unsurprisingly, Greene didn't seem to love the personal story being shared online, but kept it subtle, seemingly responding to Jonas by simply posting the words "class is timeless" to her Instagram.

Zendaya, Tinashe, and more unfollow Chris Brown

Chris Brown made himself public enemy number one (yet again) after making some distasteful remarks about another R&B singer. After the singer Kehlani posted a photo from a hospital bed to Instagram saying that she had attempted suicide, Brown went on a Twitter rant accusing her of making the whole thing up. Fellow R&B songstresses Zendaya and Tinashe, both of whom had recently collaborated with Brown, swiftly hit the unfollow button, PerezHilton reported. Two-fifths of Fifth Harmony --- Dinah Jane and Normani Kordei --- also joined in on the unfollowing.

Kim Kardashian is finally back on social media! Well... in a way, at least. Though the reality star still hasn't posted anything to her Instagram since her robbery at gunpoint at the start of October, she proved that she is still active on the app last week when eagle-eyed followers noticed that she started following some fellow celebs, including one major blast from her past.

Nearly a month and a half since being robbed in Paris, Kim Kardashian broke her social media silence with a whisper last week by following Ariana Grande, Sofia Richie, and Paris Hilton's accounts on Instagram. This marks the second sign of Kardashian's activity across all of her social media platforms in the past six weeks --- the first being a photo posted to her Facebook that was thought to be scheduled from before her attack, and which Kardashian deleted within a few hours. Before the armed robbery, Kardashian was known for posting to her Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat accounts multiple times daily, which is what has made her absence from the world of social media so notable.

The three celebrities that Kim Kardashian chose to break her Instagram hiatus for make have all been closely linked to her family, so it makes sense that they'd get a follow. Ariana Grande partied with the Kardashian-Jenner girls a couple months back at one of Kanye West's concerts, and Kardashian goes way back with Sofia Richie's older sister Nicole Richie.

But it's the Paris Hilton follow that's catching the eyes of most fans. In case you had forgotten, Kim Kardashian actually got her start in what critics have dubbed the "famous for being famous" lifestyle as the hotel heiress' assistant back in the mid-2000s. Though Kardashian's main duty was organizing Hilton's closet, she also became close friends with Hilton and made brief appearances on the heiress' reality show The Simple Life. Recently, Kardashian's younger sister Kendall Jenner resurrected the Hilton-Kardashian connection by wearing what she called a "vintage Paris Hilton" look to her birthday party.

Paris Hilton celebrated her new Instagram follower by sharing a throwback pic of herself and Kardashian posing like Charlie's Angels at the beach. The mid-2000s truly are alive and well in this photo!

Though it's nice to know that Kim Kardashian can keep up with all things Ariana Grande and Paris Hilton now, it looks like fans are still going to have to wait a bit to hear from Kardashian herself online, as she continues to recover from her traumatic robbery. Thankfully, brother Rob Kardashian gave fans a look at his big sister recently as a guest blogger for her app, sharing photos of Kim and daughter North West both dressed as Jasmine from Aladdin for Halloween. She may not be online, but she seems perfectly happy disconnecting and bonding with her kids.

She also had a more kid-friendly costume for hanging out with her children, dressing up as the Red Ranger from Power Rangers.

Jenna Dewan Tatum lived out a truly magical fantasy for her Halloween girls' night out. The actress covered herself in sparkles and placed a horn on her head to embody a unicorn.

Ryan Lochte wasn't the only silver-haired costume in Hollywood. Khloe Kardashian powered up as the X-Men hero Storm.

Zoë Kravitz turned the Halloween party she popped up at into the Mushroom Kingdom, and claimed the thrown as Princess Peach. There's no Mario in sight, but Luigi made an appearance!

Alright we admit it, they totally had us fooled. A few days ago we reported on an Egyptian TV show that staged a prank plane crash (a terrible phrase if there ever was one) with Paris Hilton on board. We told you all about how utterly terrified she was. Now, it turns out, she was in on the joke the whole time. Apparently Paris can act after all, who knew?

Gossip site TMZ has obtained documents from the production company behind Ramez in Control, the ironically named prank TV show on which Hilton was a guest. It turns out that the offer to pretend to be on a crashing plane was sent to multiple celebrities back in March, although, unfortunately, it’s not mentioned which ones. It looks like the show went down a list before getting to Paris, who was not the show's first choice. The powers that be apparently wanted a big name quite badly as they offered a pay day “in the million dollar range” to do the bit.

Amongst the other items of note in the production document is the fact that Dubai authorities were in on the prank, providing security. Here's the official statement:

Whether this is a statement as to how seriously the nation of Dubai apparently took this stunt, or evidence that the crown prince has nothing better to do with his time is not clear. (My guess is the latter.) Dubai may be the Paris Hilton of countries.

In all seriousness though, here’s to Paris Hilton. We’ve never given her enough credit, because it turns out she can act like she’s having a complete freak out with the best of them. We’ll admit that part of the reason we bought the prank was that we wouldn’t have even considered Hilton to be acting. It makes one stop and reconsider everything one knows to be true. Maybe her entire public persona is just a massive performance art piece to compete with Shia Labeouf and Joaquin Phoenix. OK, probably not.

So, let this be a lesson to everybody who fell for this to always be a bit more skeptical when that viral video shows up in your social media feed. Even Paris Hilton can fool you if you assume she’s somebody who can’t. We’re more than a little embarrassed for ourselves on this one. But seriously, a prank plane crash, who does that?

TV hosts like Jimmy Kimmel have been known to play a prank or two on guests, but nothing really compares to the experience celebrity Paris Hilton experienced when she recently agreed to appear on the Egyptian series Ramez in Control. The series convinced her to take an airplane ride and then staged a plane crash, in which she panicked and thought she might die. You can check out the insane video, below.

When people step onto planes, they generally want the ride to go as smoothly as possible, but this is anything but. The flight begins with an odd smell that reality star Paris Hilton refers to as an “overfilled toilet,” but then things really start going downhill. The plane begins losing control and spiraling toward the ground. At one point, a flight attendant even jumps out of the plane, dragging a man out of the plane with him. After nearly hitting the water, the plane finally is able to land and Paris is basically in tears, telling the Egyptian TV host, “I said I didn’t want to go on that plane.”

Clearly, the poor girl had no idea what was happening to her. On the plane, there’s a rollercoaster of emotions and she’s weeping and screaming. She’s also worried for the guy who jumped out of the plane and visibly shaken by the time they land. So, when she finds out the whole thing is a big joke, she’s at first confused and then not particularly pleased about the ordeal she just went through.

Oftentimes pranks with a little bit of a mean spirit can be hilarious. When parents lie to their kids for Jimmy Kimmel and tell them they ate all their Halloween candy, for instance, we all get a wee bit of joy out of the subsequent bewilderment and temper tantrums that follow. However, this host took the prank a little too far. Convincing someone they are about to die on a small plane miles and miles from anyone they love is pretty cruel, and then to stick with that joke for minute after minute until the person is truly convinced their life is over takes it to another level. It’s no wonder Paris eventually tells actor Ramez Galal that she really wants to "kill" him.

The celebrity later took to Twitter to share her feelings about the event.

On the bright side, she’s now busy talking about her music career on social media now, so she totally seems to be over it.

Over the weekend, I wrote an article about a game that gives players the chance to go on a virtual date with Nicolas Cage. At the time, I assumed it was just a product of the Internet's obsession with Cage, which is partially true. But as I investigated, I uncovered a strange, often-creepy, subgenre of video games: unlicensed celebrity dating simulators.

These games mimic the beginnings of a romantic relationship with a celebrity, which is probably better than stalking. But there's still something creepy about the kind of person whose obsession is strong enough to fuel the development of an entire video game.

Like any good journalist, I feel a responsibility to the public. So, I've selected five of the weirdest celebrity dating simulators on the Internet, and I'm sharing them with you.

Justin Bieber Date

Justin Bieber currently has 60 million salivating followers on Twitter, so this dating simulator almost feels redundant.

The story kicks off with a chance meeting on an airplane. After impressing him with your encyclopedic knowledge of his private life, Bieber invites you to meet him in a park. There's a short discussion about how awesome dogs are after which you're invited to hang out backstage before a concert.

The more questions that answer correctly, the bigger Bieber's smile gets.

Admittedly, I never made it past the third stage. Bieber started asking some very specific questions about his life, and I wasn't willing to do the kind of research required to improve my romantic chances. So, we're just friends.

The artistry on this simulator is impressive. Someone put a lot of time into perfectly crafting Bieber's face, paying special attention to the lips and eyes. I suspect it was a labor of love.

Kiss Paris Hilton

I've played hundreds of video games in my life, and some of them were throw-your-controller difficult. I've even played untranslated versions of Japanese RPGS, but Kiss Paris Hilton might be the most confusing game of my career.

Kiss Paris Hilton is different than the rest of the titles on this list. You don't actually get to kiss her, because she's constantly kissing other famous people. You're just the lookout, making sure that Paris and her beau don't get busted.

First she's kissing Jared Leto on a on a magical, floating roller coaster that was constructed on an African savanna. Then it's Sum 41's Deryck Whibley on a beach. Then she smooches Paris Latsis in the middle of a busy street. Every time Hilton is caught locking lips, people throw soda cans and beach balls at her head, just like in real life.

But here's my question: why would a person who's famous for an explicit sex tape be so nervous about kissing in public?

Steve Buscemi Date/Experience

Yes this is a real game, but installing it isn't easy. If you want to date Steve Buscemi, you'll need to purchase a game-development program called RPG Maker. This'll drain about 70 bucks from your wallet, which is too much to spend on a game that's hosted on Tumblr.

After jumping through all of these hoops, I realized that getting a real date with Steve Buscemi might be easier. And he'd probably pay for dinner, so it'd be cheaper too.

Though, the real-life Buscemi wouldn't use as many typos, and you might not get to meet his stuffed animal collection.

One Direction Dating Game!

If you're looking for a virtual dating experience with One Direction, prepare to be overwhelmed with choices. After spending only a few minutes searching, I managed to dig up a half-dozen One Direction dating sims. And I stopped looking, because my browser's pop-up blocker was being overwhelmed.

I did manage to find a very simple, text-based sim that allowed me to sit down and chat with each of the band members individually. However, I learned quickly that the guys from One Direction get very frustrated if you don't answer their narcissistic questions correctly. So, if Harry Styles asks you to name his favorite animal, and you incorrectly respond with one of the 60,000 other animal species on earth, he gets angry.

When your date gets upset over trivial things within the first few minutes of the conversation, some people call that a "warning sign."

KimYe - Dating Sim for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

Of the celebrity dating simulators on this list, KimYe is the only one that actually made it to the App Store and Android Marketplace. Though, it's been taken down for what I can only assume are numerous copyright violations.

Players take on the role of Kanye West and attempt to win Kim Kardashian's heart while managing a busy music career. This is accomplished through texting, shopping, and fighting off an "onslaught of other suitors vying for her attention."

Kanye only has 72 days to win her over. After that, he goes back to focusing entirely on himself.

We’re still a few days away from Halloween, but judging by how the holiday always works and the trends we’ve seen thus far, it’s pretty fair to say you’ll probably encounter a lot of Miley Cyrus costumes as you make the rounds, some of which will be far better than others. Currently leading the pack thanks to surprise and shock value is without question Hugh and Crystal Hefner who dressed as the starlet and her Video Music Awards performance partner Robin Thicke, as seen on Instagram.

As you can tell in the above picture, the two were, by all accounts, pretty cheerful during the annual Playboy Halloween party, which is really nice to see. They have had more than their share of rocky moments over the years. She called off the wedding just days before she was supposed to walk down the aisle, and later, she took some pretty aggressive shots in the media. After the anger subsided, however, she wound up returning to mansion and later followed through and married Hefner. For basically the last year, all has seemingly been great on the home front, and at this point, there’s no reason to think that bliss won’t continue through many more Halloween parties.

In addition to Crystal, Paris Hilton also attended the Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion dressed as Cyrus, though she picked a much different costume. You can check it out below…

We won’t know for sure until Halloween actually passes, but I’m pretty sure the creepy bear Miley costume is going to prove less popular than the flesh-colored one she rocked opposite Thicke. As such, Paris definitely deserves a few extra points for going that route. In addition, she deserves a few extra points because that costume is obviously harder to recreate. That being said, she doesn’t have an eighty-year-old man opposite her to participate in her scheme.

Remember when Paris Hilton was a mess? For what seemed like a solid decade, the socialite/ heiress was the go-to example of a rich girl who’d gone off the rails. Her name was constantly in the headlines for a long series of shenanigans, and it seemed like she would never grow the hell up. Over the last few years, however, the hoopla surrounding her has been noticeably quiet, and if she’s to be believed, her life might actually start getting really domestic.

Hilton shot a segment with television host Wendy Williams earlier this week, and during the chat, she opened up about her new twenty-one-year-old boyfriend River Viiperi. Apparently, things are getting serious, and she’s now actively thinking about starting a life with the male model. Here’s an actual quote from the interview, as per US Magazine…

On the one hand, it’s really nice to hear Paris talk about life activities that aren’t going to jail, making sex tapes or drinking recklessly. She certainly has the resources to be a very good mother, and obviously, some of her ancestors were extremely intelligent, very savvy businessmen. Someday, she should be a capable mother. That being said, settling down with someone eleven years younger than her who isn’t even past college age seems like a questionable life decision. Maybe marrying and having kids with Viiperi isn’t the right move, even if it causes her to run wild a bit longer.
