Since appearing on The Bachelor in 2020, Madison Prewett has been pretty open about the tougher aspects of her reality TV experience. She allegedly lost 20 pounds while vying for Peter Weber’s heart (presumably thanks in part to his mother laying into her during a “scary” live finale). However, Barb apparently wasn’t the only frightening part of her experience. Prewett got real about the “traumas” she suffered, and I’m shocked to hear that the producers actually called themselves “witches.” Umm, what?

Madison Prewett visited The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast recently, where they talked topics like how Christians are portrayed on TV and Prewett’s experience on The Bachelor Season 24. The reality star recalled a conversation she and her husband Grant Troutt had with a neurologist, where she said she wishes she could see before-and-after images of her brain after everything she went through. Prewett said:

Candace Cameron Bure was shocked at the revelation that the producers would give themselves such a nickname. Her reaction isn’t really surprising, given her belief system and how she thinks scary movies could be a portal to bring evil into the home, but I have to say I agree with her on this front.

The Bachelor is supposed to be about falling in love, right? Even if they meant it in a witch doctor/love potion kind of way, it’s a strange energy to bring to your job, in my opinion. I’m not naive, though; I’ve been a fan of Bachelor Nation for long enough to have seen the producers pull some pretty wild stunts on the contestants that don't always seem to have their love lives front-of-mind (need I mention the poop baby again?).

Suffice it to say I don’t understand why the producers would have thought of themselves as having to be witchy. As for the second trauma Madison Prewett experienced, she said that came when the public finally saw her journey with Peter Weber play out on TV, saying:

“Whiplash” is a good word for it, because it doesn’t sound all bad, given how it did make her famous (she’s on Candace Cameron Bure’s podcast, after all!). But while Madison Prewett admits she’s glad to have gone though that experience, it’s not one she would recommend for her friends. She told the Great American Family actress:

There is no season of The Bachelor premiering on the 2026 TV schedule in January, but on Sunday, March 22, tune in to see The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul take her place as The Bachelorette. Episodes will air at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and stream the next day with a Hulu subscription.

Peter Weber’s finale on The Bachelor back in 2020 has gone down in infamy as (actually) the most dramatic season finale ever, but it apparently came at a price. Madison Prewett, one of the women involved in the love triangle that developed at the end of Season 24, opened up about her “traumatizing” experience, revealing that she lost 20 pounds during the ordeal.

Madison Prewett and her husband Grant Troutt went on The Unplanned Podcast, where they talked about their relationship, becoming parents and, of course, her time competing for Peter Weber’s heart on The Bachelor. The Season 24 drama really came to a head at the finale, when Weber’s mom Barb laid into Prewett on live TV. Asked how she maintained her composure in that moment, Prewett had to stop and think a second, saying:

In the finale, Peter Weber — one of the most famous Bachelor alums — got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss after Madison Prewett chose to leave the show; however, that relationship ended about a month later, and at the live “After the Final Rose” portion of the finale, Weber expressed that he wanted to get back together with Prewett.

Barb Weber was displeased, to say the least, and recalled how the family’s initial meeting with Madison Prewett had gotten off to a rocky start after they’d already fallen in love with Peter’s other finalist a day earlier. Barb said:

Madison Prewett sat silently in front of the live studio audience as Barb Weber continued to put Madison down and even whispered to her husband in Spanish to back her up and “say something bad” too.

On the podcast Madison Prewett explained that she and Peter Weber decided not to pursue a relationship after that (obviously), but she found a silver lining in the experience:

It likely took some time to come to that conclusion, as The Bachelor contestant recalls the immediate aftermath of the live finale, saying:

Honestly, who wouldn’t have? Hearing the physical toll that her Bachelor experience took on her, it’s no wonder that she chooses not to relive those memories very often.

The first season of Destination X has come to an end, with the finale revealing alliances and betrayals that determined who among Rick Szabo, Biggy Bailey, and Peter Weber would win the $250,000 grand prize. I've had fun watching the series as it aired after new episodes of America's Got Talent, but no episode really hooked me as much as when the series premiere hoodwinked me earlier in the 2025 TV schedule.

I was still happy to celebrate Rick getting the win by identifying Big Ben in London, and there's some real charm in a professional birdwatcher coming out on top. But it wasn't until I read some comments from host Jeffrey Dean Morgan that I realized that part of my happiness for Rick was likely because I was rooting against another competitor more than I knew. Sorry, Pilot Pete, but I just really didn't want you to win!

Now, to be clear – I wasn't rooting against Peter Weber because of his experience on The Bachelor or The Traitors. After all, gaining fame in Bachelor Nation (whether or not you're there for the right reasons) doesn't make one a geography expert, being banished from The Traitors Season 2 cast doesn't transform a competitor into a master cartographer, and working as a pilot doesn't guarantee the ability to crack clues. No, I didn't really care that much that Peter came in with reality TV experience.

Peter Weber was just my #3 pick out of the three finalists because of one big advantage that had nothing to do with his time on ABC or Peacock reality shows: he got to join Destination X a few episodes into the season, skipping out on some early eliminations. I came to my realization not when the final credits rolled on Rick's joy or after Peter's emotional final speech, but after I read some comments from Jeffrey Dean Morgan to Parade. He said:

Peter Weber was one of two reality stars who got to make late arrivals to Destination X, as he was joined by Love Island USA vet JaNa Craig to move into the bus in Episode 3. JaNa didn't last long in competition, but Peter obviously made it to the very end. Jeffrey Dean Morgan raised the question of whether "people think that that's fair" if he'd been the champion; I can't speak for everybody, but I sure wouldn't have seen it as 100% fair.

That said, I can't disagree with Morgan's additional point that it "makes for good TV if the audience knows some people," and Deal or No Deal Island did something similar by casting Survivor legend Boston Rob Mariano for Season 1. And the format of Destination X means that what Morgan described as Peter and JaNa being "very savvy" and "very smart" about reality TV dynamics won't be enough to win. Savviness isn't enough when you also need to identify locations in Europe! The playing field would have been pretty even if everybody started at the same time.

On the whole, I'm on board if Destination X is renewed and brings in reality TV celebs on the same level as The Bachelor and Love Island vets, but would find it a whole lot easier to root for them if they also have to start at the beginning like everybody else. Was Peter Weber an entertaining part of the final stages of Season 1 thanks to his secret alliance? Sure, but I don't think I'll change my mind that it would have been unfair for him to beat Rick or Biggy.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan seems open to returning for a second season, especially after he revealed why he finally took the hosting job. The ratings as America's Got Talent's primetime partner were also solid, so I wouldn't be surprised to see NBC bring the show back as a new summer staple.

Kaitlyn Bristowe

Kaitlyn Bristowe appeared on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor before starring in her own season of The Bachelorette. After the dating show, Bristowe went on to appear in and win Dancing with the Stars Season 29. She has a popular podcast Off the Vine, started her own wine label called Spade and Sparrows, and even released a single, “If I’m Being Honest,” in 2020. Bristowe remained so beloved by Bachelor Nation that she was chosen to return to the mansion as co-host of Katie Thurston’s season following Chris Harrison’s exit.  

Jillian Harris

After appearing on The Bachelor and leading her own season, Jillian Harris made a name for herself in the interior design world. She starred on HGTV’s Love It or List It, Too and was a designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2010. She maintains a strong social media presence with her brands Jillian Harris Design and The Jilly Box, and also provides small business coaching through The Jilly Academy. She is the co-author of the plant-based cookbook Fraiche Food Full Hearts. 

Bob Guiney

Bob Guiney was a contestant on the first season of The Bachelorette before becoming the fourth Bachelor. He rode his television fame to a gig with Game Show Network, hosting GSN Live for three years, in addition to some other TV appearances. In 2003 he published the book What a Difference a Year Makes: How Life's Unexpected Setbacks Can Lead to Unexpected Joy about his reality TV experience, and nearly 20 years later he became the co-host of the Almost Famous OGs podcast. 

Nick Viall

Since his time on The Bachelor, two seasons of The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, Nick Viall has continued to make a name for himself outside of the reality dating realm. His podcast The Viall Files hosts some of the biggest names in reality TV and pop culture, and in addition to doling out advice to his listeners, he published a book in 2022, Don’t Text Your Ex Happy Birthday. Viall has continued in the reality TV realm, appearing on Dancing with the Stars Season 24 and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 2, which he won. He’s also dabbled in acting, with appearances in series including Teachers and Speechless. 

Peter Weber

Peter Weber was a contestant on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette and then led a season of his own. While maintaining a job as a pilot following his dating show career, Weber obtained a strong social media following and ended up starring in Season 2 of The Traitors, which can be streamed with a Peacock subscription. 

Arie Luyendyk Jr.

After making his Bachelor Nation debut on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette, Arie Luyendyk Jr. became infamous for the controversial finale of his season of The Bachelor, in which he broke up with Becca Kufrin to reunite with his runner-up Lauren Burnham. He and Lauren maintain a popular YouTube channel, and Luyendyk returned to TV in Season 1 of The Traitors. 

Rachel Lindsay

After her time on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay has continued to make a name for herself. She worked as a correspondent for Extra until 2023, hosted the MTV series Love Gone Missing, and has hosted multiple shows on ESPN, including First Take and Football Frenzy. Lindsay hosts a podcast with Van Lathan called Higher Learning, and she’s published two books, Real Love: A Novel and Miss Me With That: Hot Takes, Helpful Tidbits, and a Few Hard Truths. 

Tyler Cameron

Tyler Cameron may not have won Hannah Brown’s heart on The Bachelorette, but he proved to have lasting star power. Since the dating show, he has been linked to women including fashion model Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner’s BFF Stassie Karanikolaou, and Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari. He appeared in the Netflix film Good on Paper and made a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live in a sketch with Kim Kardashian. He’s also appeared on other reality shows The Real Dirty Dancing, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 2 (which he won), and Going Home with Tyler Cameron, a home renovation show available to stream with an Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Jesse Palmer

Since starring on The Bachelor in Season 5, former NFL quarterback Jesse Palmer has been honing his skills in both the sports and hosting worlds. He’s served as a college football and NFL analyst for major networks including ESPN/ABC, Fox Sports, and the NFL Network. He was a contributor for Good Morning America and has hosted series including The Ultimate Surfer, The Proposal, Spring Baking Championship, Food Truck Face Off, Bakeaway Camp, and Holiday Baking: Gingerbread Showdown. Oh yeah, and he replaced Chris Harrison as The Bachelor franchise host. 

Jordan Rodgers

After winning JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette, Jordan Rodgers — a former quarterback and brother of Aaron Rodgers — has become a football analyst for networks including ESPN and the SEC Network. He and Fletcher hosted the reality show Cash Pad, the Paramount+ series Battle of the Fittest Couples, and their own reality dating show, The Big D. 

Jake Pavelka

Jake Pavelka is another reality star who appeared on both The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, as well as the spinoff Bachelor Pad. He kept the reality TV train on the tracks with appearances on Dancing with the Stars Season 10, Famous Food on VH1, H8R on The CW, and the Food Network’s Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off. He’s also done a bit of acting, appearing on Drop Dead Diva and The Bold and the Beautiful. 

Courtney Robertson

After Courtney Robertson won Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor, she released a memoir about the experience, I Didn't Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain. The model has since competed on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and made an appearance on Mad TV. She is the host of After Reality, a podcast where she interviews fellow former reality stars. 

Colton Underwood

Following Colton Underwood’s shocking fence-jump moment on The Bachelor Season 23, the football player ultimately came out as gay, telling his story on the docuseries Coming Out Colton (available to stream with a Netflix subscription). He has since gotten married to political strategist Jordan C. Brown and published the book The First Time: Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV. 

Tayshia Adams

One of the Season 16 Bachelorettes, Tayshia Adams, is one of the many Bachelor Nation members who has parlayed her experience into a career as an influencer. In addition to several brand deals, she partnered with Amaryllis Apparel to launch a clothing line and Conair for hair accessories. She’s also continued to make TV appearances, guest-hosting Entertainment Tonight and E! Daily Pop, co-hosting a season of The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe, and competing on The $100,000 Pyramid.

Hannah Brown

After making it to Hometowns on Colton Underwood’s season and then leading a season of The Bachelorette, Hannah Brown went on to win Dancing with the Stars Season 28 and later Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 1. She released a memoir God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moment and has begun penning romance novels. 

JoJo Fletcher

JoJo Fletcher has continued to make a name for herself outside of Bachelor Nation, launching the clothing line Fletch in 2018 and teaming up with Cupshe in 2022 for a swimwear line. She and her husband Jordan Rodgers have gone on to host the reality series Cash Pad, Battle of the Fittest Couples, and The Big D. 

Madison Prewett

Madison Prewett has maintained a strong social media presence since appearing on The Bachelor as Peter Weber’s runner-up. She married Grant Troutt, son of billionaire businessman Kenny Troutt, and has published two books — Made for This Moment and The Love Everybody Wants with an accompanying Bible study course. 

Wells Adams

After appearances on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, Wells Adams found love with Modern Family star Sarah Hyland but stuck around the dating show anyway, serving as the BiP bartender. He has competed on Celebrity Game Face, Worst Cooks in America, and Celebrity Family Feud and co-hosts two podcasts — Your Favorite Thing with Brandi Cyrus and Two Dudes in a Kitchen with Tyler Florence. 

Trista Sutter

Not only was Trista Sutter on the very first season of The Bachelor, but she went on to star in the inaugural season of The Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars Season 1 after that. She has continued to make guest appearances on the Bachelor Nation series, including The Golden Bachelor, and has also appeared on Fear Factor, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. She released the memoir Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart in 2013 and later became the co-host of the Almost Famous OGs podcast alongside Bob Guiney.

Jamie Otis

Jamie Otis started her reality TV career on The Bachelor and Bachelor Pad but is better known for marrying Doug Hehner on Married at First Sight. The couple later starred in their own spinoff Married at First Sight: The First Year. She has also launched her own jewelry line and wrote the book Wifey 101: Everything I Got Wrong About Finding Mr. Right. 

Melissa Rycroft

After her time on The Bachelor, Melissa Rycroft competed in Seasons 8 and 15 of Dancing with the Stars. Along with the podcast Logically Irrational, Rycroft’s other ventures include a CMT reality show Melissa & Tye with her husband Tye Strickland, multiple appearances on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, and hosting Redneck Island. 

Ali Fedotowsky 

Ali Fedotowsky appeared on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, accumulating a strong social media following afterward. She has since served as a judge at the 2012 Miss USA Pageant, hosted NBC’s 1st Look, been an E! News correspondent and co-hosted the Home & Family talk show. She also competed on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. 

Keltie Knight

After a short stint on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, Keltie Knight (née Busch) continued her climb to fame as a correspondent for CBS’ The Insider, before moving to Entertainment Tonight. She then went to E! News as the chief correspondent and later co-host of the entertainment news program. She co-created the LadyGang podcast, which was eventually turned into a TV series on E!, and she’s also one of the minds behind the game show Superfan.  

Ben Flajnik

For the most part, Ben Flajnik went back to his winery following his time on The Bachelorette and leading The Bachelor, but he stayed in the headlines due to an appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and rumors that he was having an affair with Kris Jenner. 

Lauren Bushnell Lane

After accepting a proposal from Ben Higgins on The Bachelor, Lauren Bushnell starred with her fiancé in their own reality show on Freeform, Ben and Lauren, Happily Ever After? It, in fact, wasn’t happily ever after, and Bushnell went on to marry country music star Chris Lane. She has since maintained a successful career as an influencer. 

Mike Johnson

America fell in love with Mike Johnson on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, to the point that he almost became the next Bachelor. Instead, however, he appeared on Bachelor in Paradise before going on to compete on Celebrity Family Feud. He also co-hosted Bachelor Nation’s Talking It Out podcast alongside Bryan Abasolo. 

Catherine Giudici Lowe

After getting engaged to Sean Lowe on The Bachelor, Catherine Giudici said “I do” on live TV, in a wedding special that aired on ABC a year later. The couple has since appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and CNBC’s Billion Dollar Buyer. Catherine has a strong social media presence, and found success with brands like LoweCo stationary and the furniture line Home by Sean and Catherine Lowe. 

Andi Dorfman

Andi Dorfman has built an impressive following since appearing on The Bachelor and starring on The Bachelorette. In addition to her two books — It’s Not Okay and Single State of Mind — she started a clothing line for runners called Andorfins. She has competed on both Celebrity Family Feud and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. 

Hannah Godwin

Hannah Godwin increased her social media following after appearing on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise through her work as a model, YouTuber and TikTok celebrity. In addition to several endeavors as an influencer, Godwin created the Setty photo filter app. 

Becca Kufrin

Many people came to know Becca Kufrin for the brutal breakup she endured at the hands of Arie Luyendyk Jr. on The Bachelor, especially after it was parodied on Saturday Night Live (with Cecily Strong portraying Kufrin). She not only went on to star on The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, but she hosted the official Bachelor Nation podcast Bachelor Happy Hour for three years and served as the emcee of the “Bachelor Live on Stage” tour. Kufrin is the creator of Bourdon wines and Improv booze-free cocktails. 

Sean Lowe

Sean Lowe came to fame on The Bachelorette before starring on The Bachelor, and he followed his reality dating experiences with a live wedding special and appearances on Dancing with the Stars, Celebrity Family Feud, Celebrity Wife Swap, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition. He published his memoir For the Right Reasons: America's Favorite Bachelor on Faith, Love, Marriage, and Why Nice Guys Finish First in 2015. 

Ashley Iaconetti

In addition to appearing on The Bachelor, two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games, Ashley Iaconetti has been seen on Celebrity Family Feud and Million Dollar Matchmaker. She’s made numerous TV appearances and worked as a correspondent for Access Hollywood, as well as hosted the Almost Famous podcast with Ben Higgins and the I Don’t Get It podcast with her sister Lauren. Iaconetti and her husband Jared Haibon co-authored the children’s book Lucy & Clark: A Story of Puppy Love.

Not all of The Bachelor contestants were successful in finding love, but it’s nice to see that many of them were able to use the experience to find fame and develop their careers. 

Clayton Echard has had a rough time leading The Bachelor for its 26th season. It’ll all be worth it in the end, though, if he comes out of it with the woman he’s going to marry. That’s certainly the hope, anyway, for the man who’s been on the defensive from the beginning over his casting and subsequent decision-making on the reality dating show. However, former Bachelor Peter Weber isn’t sure Echard’s going to get his happily ever after, saying he’s afraid the Missouri native ends up alone after the final rose ceremony.

The Bachelor has been filled to the brim with drama this season, and it’s honestly gotten pretty bad. Clayton Echard was tested right off the bat when he took a rose back from a woman who he found out lied to him, and the past few weeks have seen him being manipulated by villain Shanae Ankney (though the producers may have played a role in that). It doesn’t look like the road’s going to get any easier, either, as promos have shown the main man professing his love for multiple women and revealing to two of them that he was intimate with both.

This last point is where Peter Weber thinks it all falls apart for Clayton Echard. While Weber thinks Rachel Recchia and Susie Evans appear to be the front-runners (spoiler alert: see who Echard’s rumored final three are), Weber said Echard’s intimacy reveal might be too much for his top choice to handle. Peter Weber definitely has Rachel Recchia at the top of his Bachelor bracket, saying if she walks away, Clayton Echard might decide to not choose anyone. The pilot thinks Susie Evans is probably Echard’s “No. 2,” but he doesn’t see as much of a connection between them as he does with Echard and Recchia. The Season 24 Bachelor — who experienced his own dramatic finale — also said he was surprised by some comments from the current leading man, which Weber thinks might hint at his season’s result.

While it’s true that the contestants aren’t usually allowed to reveal details about their journeys until after the show has aired, ABC used Clayton Echard’s intimacy confession and multiple “I love you”s in promos to advertise Echard’s season, so it was likely fair game for the former football player to discuss in interviews. 

If anyone is familiar with the inner workings of the franchise, however, it’s Peter Weber, who appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette before leading his own season of The Bachelor. Whether or not Clayton Echard’s journey ends with him finding his wife remains to be seen, but given what he’s been through this season, Echard is undoubtedly learning a lot about himself, so maybe Weber’s on to something.

Well, the long-overdue time has finally come, Bachelor Nation. After 18 years and 40 combined seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, former lead Rachel Lindsay is no longer our only person of color to lead their own season. Matt James, a 28-year-old community organization founder, entrepreneur, and real estate broker is now the new Bachelor for Season 25, which should still be coming our way in 2021.

As we all know, this monumental casting did not come about during the easiest of times for the franchise. And, many of us in Bachelor Nation are quite glad that Matt is getting to shoot his shot at first-time love in front of millions every Monday night. But, I, for one, really want to make sure that the producers don't bungle this season to the point where even those of us who've been wanting to see a man of melanin in this position for many moons have a hard time sticking with his...journey. So, here for you now, I have a list of things I really need to see from Matt's season of The Bachelor (aside from an official photo of him in a nice suit, like most of the other Bachelors).

Make Sure The Women Cast For Matt James' Season Are As Diverse As Possible

I can give The Bachelor a teensy bit of props for upping the number of non-white women cast in most of the recent seasons, such as Peter Weber's recent (and still basically infuriating, nonetheless) season, which you can see above. So, there hasn't really been any doubt that Matt's time as Bachelor would see a diverse cast. But there's also no better time like the present to really pump those numbers up.

This is especially true since Matt has already gone public (during his Good Morning America introduction to the world) and said that he's looking for a woman who's "selfless, honest, caring, compassionate" and noted that women like that come in all "shapes, sizes and races," so the show had better present us with as many of those shapes, sizes and races as possible. (I would so, so, SO, love it if there were a few women who were larger than a size four on Season 25, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.)

The Bachelor Cannot Be Self-Congratulatory In Matt James' Season

Will this be a historic season of The Bachelor? Of course it will be. Though, I honestly will not be able to bear it if the show acts like the franchise did something special here. This is only happening now because their hands were forced by the fans starting a petition, and a Twitter account to report on changes made in the franchise. Not to mention Rachel's decision to take a stand and say she wouldn't be involved with Bachelor Nation anymore if they didn't finally cast a black lead. And, if they didn't have Rachel, we all know they had no one else to turn to as a sort of official representative, so they bowed to the pressure.

I don't want the show talking about how important it is that Matt is The Bachelor, because the producers, clearly, didn't really think this step was important at all. And, now that I think about it, I don't really remember The Bachelorette doing any over-celebrating during Rachel's season, so let's just follow that playbook where this particular thing is concerned, alright? This needs to be a pretty regular season, aside from the lead and the diversity of the cast, which leads me to my next point...

Make Sure That Season 25 Is Fun As Hell

Tell the truth. Don't you think that The Bachelor has gotten stale in a lot of different ways? Anything that's been on the air for as many seasons as this show has would. After the near total fiascos of Peter and Colton Underwood, I think it's time to really switch this whole bitch up and make sure what we see is as intriguing, surprising, exciting and just plain fun as all hell!

They can do all the aerial shots of the lush locations (assuming we get those in Matt's season) that they want, but I do not want to see a single helicopter date on Season 25. Hell, I'd be fine if we don't see another helicopter until Season 972, but that might just be me. I hope the women are a bit older than usual, but let's not pretend that can't mean that there will be some weirdos in the bunch who will start shit, cry a lot or do oddball stuff that they'll have to answer for later. In short, they need to bring us the drama so that Matt's time as Bachelor is as enticing to watch as before.

Focus On Matt James In His Season

I know this may seem like an odd request and you might be saying to yourself, "Why, whomever would they focus on in Matt's season besides Matt?" Well, you're looking at a picture of him, right above this section: Tyler Cameron. Ever since Tyler became a breakout star on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, his best buddy (and business partner...and roommate) Matt has also been on our collective radar. And, while it's great that these two seem to have a very genuine bromance going on, it cannot be exploited for Matt's time as Bachelor.

Why? Well, because it wouldn't be fair or appropriate, that's why. This is Matt's time to shine, so if the show leans too heavily on the Tyler of it all, it would just remind folks how much we love him and how he wasn't The Bachelor instead of Peter (in my mind it was between Mike and Tyler, but, oh well...). Then we're thinking about whether or not he be could be the lead in 2022, and suddenly we're not thinking about our dude Matt anymore at all. I'm not saying we can't hear from Tyler at all, but once should be the limit, and preferably toward the end of the season.

Don't Try To Drive Home The Fact That Matt James Is Black

This is really where having additional people of color working behind the scenes will help. You might remember how, during Peter's season, they traveled to some Spanish-speaking countries and made sure to include several scenes where he spoke that lovely language. I suppose this was in an effort to show off the fact that Peter is part Cuban (on Barb's side, I believe), but the results were pretty cringe-worthy, because it was abundantly clear that Peter did not grow up speaking any significant amount of Spanish. Honestly, he sounded like he had just learned every phrase he used.

We don't want this happening with Matt James, do we? The producers are going to have to be able to balance the things they usually do with opening the doors to other cultures on the show and making sure that the leads (especially) are doing things that feature their interests. Just because Matt is black doesn't mean that The Bachelor needs to go film in Africa for eight weeks. But, the flip side of that is that his season should showcase aspects of his life connected to his heritage that Matt is already interested in. If the man doesn't like gumbo, don't send him on a date to a gumbo factory. Yeah, I know there aren't any gumbo factories, but I also know that you know exactly what I mean.

Really, if the producers take the time to think about this, they should realize that Matt James' time as The Bachelor should, as all seasons prior, be about him and what he needs to find love, not simply his race. We still want to see kissing, confrontations, confusion and goofy moments. Fans will still need sweeping shots of mountains and waterfalls, and crazy dates that real people would never go on in regular life. Someone (Maybe even Matt!) should absolutely end an episode wallowing in a puddle of their own tears. As long as they can deliver on this, Matt's season should be golden.

Earlier this year, during Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, Rachel Lindsay appeared on the Women Tell All episode to shine a light on the bullying that many of the women who are part of the franchise have been subjected to, particularly on that most recent season. Unfortunately, as with many segments of society as a whole, Bachelor Nation is not a place which is totally accepting of diversity, so much of this bullying was racially motivated. Now, Rachel is speaking out about the franchise, and talking about why, especially at this troubling time, she's embarrassed to be a part of it.

As the only non-white lead that The Bachelor franchise has seen in 40 total seasons (when you include all seasons of The Bachelorette) across almost 20 years, Rachel Lindsay has recently been doing a lot of leg work to try and educate people who've appeared in the franchise, as well as fans and those behind the scenes, on how that lack of diversity has allowed racism continued inroads in society as a whole.

Fans will likely remember that it was just a couple of weeks ago that she spoke with fellow former lead Hannah Brown about using a racial slur on camera, and then not taking full responsibility for it, which led to a more sincere apology from Hannah. Well, Rachel Lindsay was on the AfterBuzz TV Bachelor A.M. show recently, and after discussing the incident with Hannah, she was asked if she believes that the producers of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will do anything to step up in a real way, and start casting non-white leads on a regular basis. Here's what Rachel had to say:

I have to tell you, I think Rachel Lindsay is absolutely right. Like many fans in Bachelor Nation, I was very disappointed when Mike Johnson, who had been on Hannah Brown's Bachelorette season in 2019, wasn't chosen to lead The Bachelor for Season 24 this year, and it instead went to another white guy. Mike had everything a fan could hope for in a Bachelor, and he also had a lot of actual audience support for the gig, along with sounding very open to the opportunity to be the first black male lead in franchise history, but the producers made the safe choice, yet again, and went with Peter.

What Rachel Lindsay is saying now is that the time is over for these safe choices, because all they do (even in something as fluffy and basically meaningless as The Bachelor) is allow prejudice and racism to keep hold over society. If content creators on the scale of The Bachelor producers don't step up to make changes, and make those changes faster than having the franchise on the air for 15 years and 34 total seasons (Rachel was The Bachelorette in 2017), very little will change overall.

As she said during her interview, Rachel now finds her association with all things The Bachelor "embarrassing" because of the "ridiculous" nature of its unwillingness to change. For her to continue with the franchise, she wants to see on-camera changes, and that makes total sense. Bachelor franchise host Chris Harrison has spoken before about why the show is taking so long to change, and while he didn't directly say money was the reason, that was the answer, because he noted that "we have to stay on the air" to make any efforts count.

While Rachel admitted that her season was one of the lowest rated of the franchise, that to her is extra reason to step up and have more non-white leads, so that the scope of the show and its audience are broadened in positive ways. The question now becomes whether or not the franchise will take heed and do something. To that point, Rachel had a comparison to make:

Truer words about The Bachelor have never been spoken. Here's hoping that Rachel Lindsay's words have some real impact on both the franchise and the massive audience, and that even if we do (hopefully) see a non-white lead in Season 25 of The Bachelor next year, that it won't be in an effort to appease but a sign of real change that will continue as they cast subsequent seasons, with the leads and casts for those seasons being far more diverse than they have been until now.

As Rachel said, Clare Crawley's Season 16 of The Bachelorette is currently on hold, but the hope is that we'll get to see it later this year, so stay tuned to CinemaBlend for the latest. Somehow, the most recent season of The Bachelor has left me feeling both like it happened many moons ago, and like the show wrapped up with that shocking and very hard to watch finale just this week. After a truly messy several weeks of watching Peter Weber try to find love, Season 24 of the series saw Weber and Madison Prewett (who had dumped him in the final week) come together on the live show and decide to give things another go. Unfortunately, that was not to be (for reasons I'll remind you of later), but now we know that Madi is taking some me-time after her experience, and why she's made that decision.

Bachelor Nation was very divided on Madison during the later stretch of The Bachelor, which led to the formerly drama-free contestant becoming a hot topic of conversation during every episode as we got closer to seeing which remaining lady Peter would choose. Fans went through those last few episodes going through some serious love / hate / I don't know / oh, hell now I just feel sorry for her feelings for Madi, and it's clear the journey took a toll on her as well.

Madison recently spoke with Elite Daily about how she's caring for herself during these strange and often scary times, and she revealed that she's going it alone right now, with no plans to date (even via video chat) for a while. Here's what Madi had to say:

Wow. Alright, I can readily admit that I had my own struggles with Madison Prewett as I watched her make some choices which seemed completely baffling on The Bachelor earlier this year. But, you know, what she said in her interview is completely reasonable and makes me like her a lot more than I did by the time that disastrous After The Final Rose episode aired.

I mean, if you have serious hate for the young woman (cough Barb Weber cough) then you might just see this as a play to elicit positive emotions from us, but I happen to believe that Madi is truly concerned with making sure that she's in the right place before she moves on and tries to start dating again. Not enough people take the time to process a breakup (or other big life changes, for that matter) before jumping into the next thing, which generally leads to disaster all over again. At least Madi's aware enough to know she needs time, and not afraid to take it.

Alright, I've already invoked the Bachelor mom of all Bachelor moms, so let's just go ahead and get into it. As I said, Madi made some odd decisions last season, including signing up for a show where one of the men who was clearly in the running to lead said show quickly became known as Peter "Windmill Sex" Weber, because he had sex with Hannah Brown four whole times during their fantasy suite date on her season the The Bachelorette in 2019.

Of course, that only became an issue when Madi told him right before their fantasy suites week, that she'd be very uncomfortable with him having sex with either of the other remaining ladies (Victoria Fuller and Hannah Ann Sluss). Then, in the midst of maybe-we-can-have-sex-now week, Madi finally (FINALLY) told Peter that she was a virgin and waiting until marriage, and said she'd probably leave if she found out he did go ahead and do sexytimes with someone else.

Peter had done sex stuff (obviously), and he came clean about it to Madi (good boy), but then she was torn over whether or not to actually take her leave from him and the show. She did eventually come to the rose ceremony, but after another tense (oh, so very tense) meeting with his family (Barb!), she finally dumped Peter, leaving him to just go ahead and propose to Hannah Ann, because why not, I guess.

Fans will remember that it did not end there, though. At the ATFR show (which was live, y'all), Peter and Madi said they had reconnected after Hannah Ann realized Peter was...not great, and broke off their engagement. They wanted to give romance the old college try again, but, yo, Barb Weber was not in the mood for that shit. And, Mama Weber told everyone on live TV that Madi and her son would "have to fail to succeed," with however you decide to take her meaning not being good on the support-from-his-family front at all. They then broke up two days later.

Heavens above. If Madison Prewett doesn't need some time to set herself straight after all of that, then no one does...ever! This is especially true, considering that, not long after their breakup, Peter started dating another lady from his season who made it pretty far, Kelley Flanagan (whom Barb just looooooves), so that's got to sting at least a bit. Luckily, it really does sound like Madi is on the right track, though, and she'll probably be back in the dating game before we all know it.

All new Bachelor Nation things are on hold for now, including Clare Crawley's 2020 season of The Bachelorette, but the trip down memory lane-filled series, The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable – Ever!, is coming on Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. The Bachelor is back! Well, not exactly. But, with Season 16 of The Bachelorette starring Clare Crawley on hold for now, and the premiere season of the new tuneful franchise entry, The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart, not really doing its part to connect with fans since its debut just a few weeks ago, producers wanted something to fulfill the rose-giving desires of Bachelor Nation denizens everywhere. So, this summer will see the debut of The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable – Ever!, a retrospective which will feature a look back at the wildest seasons in Bachelor history.

The 10 episode event series will begin on June 8, and, according to Variety, each three hour episode (which will, indeed, be led by Bachelor host with the most Chris Harrison) will revisit a full season from the annals of Bachelor Nation history. So, we'll get to take a look back at the harshest breakups, most cringe-worthy kisses, deeply devastating rose ceremonies, unexpected meltdowns, passionate makeout sessions and much, much more. Here's what ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke had to say about the new series:

I know a lot of people assumed that The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart would be a shoo-in for all those eager Bachelor Nation eyeballs before it began, but The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable – Ever! seems like it will be way more up the romance alley of fans looking to stay immersed in all things The Bachelor until they can get back on track with new episodes. With Clare's time as Bachelorette yet to be able to establish a definitive start date, this means that the late summer staple Bachelor in Paradise is also up in the air, and there seems to be nothing that fans love more than catching up with their old favorites.

Speaking of Clare, because her season would be the next to film when production can start again, the current plan is to (you guessed it) feature her time with unsuitable suitor Juan Pablo Galavis on his Season 18 of The Bachelor, which aired in 2014. Clare will be able to join in on the fun via video chat with Chris Harrison, and the hope is that those who never got to watch her previous run at finding love will have a chance to become invested in her search for Mr. Right and be even more interested to see what happens when her season of The Bachelorette can finally air.

While not all of the seasons of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, BIP, Bachelor Pad and The Bachelor Winter Games that will be featured on the show have been decided just yet, it's thought that the season that started it all in 2002 (with Bachelor Alex Michel) will be shown, along with the first season of The Bachelorette (starring Trista Rehn in 2003). In addition, we're very likely to revisit Kaitlyn Bristowe (The Bachelorette Season 11, 2015), Sean Lowe (The Bachelor Season 17, 2013) and Ben Higgins (The Bachelor Season 20, 2016). And, the hope is that other past Bachelor Nation favorites will join in via chat to talk about their time in the franchise, as well.

Those of you hoping to dive back into the messy mess that was Peter Weber's recently completed Season 24, however, will be disappointed. The show has decided not to head to those choppy, Barbara Weber-filled waters again, which is probably for the best.

Peter, Peter, Peter...That's the refrain that pretty much everyone in Bachelor Nation sang weekly while we watched Peter Weber, fresh from Hannah Brown's 2019 season of The Bachelorette, try to find love as our newly minted star of The Bachelor in Season 24. And, every week we watched him make the most baffling decisions, wherein he consistently rewarded those who created drama and ignored some very solid ladies who managed to stay above the fray. Well, Season 23 Bachelor Colton Underwood, was right there with us watching as Peter flailed, as he's just as frustrated as the rest of us.

Everyone who signs up for The Bachelor or The Bachelorette is going to go through some rough times while trying to find the love of their life among the 25 to 30 people presented to them on the show, especially because of having to do it in such a public way. And, even though Colton Underwood understands those challenges very well, he was still disappointed by how Peter Weber's season went down. But, it sounds like his experience with the franchise does mean that he's able to give Peter a bit of a break. Here's what he told Variety:

Well, I have to say that I appreciate the way in which Colton Underwood managed to cut Peter Weber some slack for all his very, very poor decisions during his time as Bachelor this season, but also held him accountable for not being able to "take ownership in certain situations," which I'm going to read as Peter's well-documented inability to make a choice and stick to it.

I'm sure you remember how Peter had so much trouble deciding who was telling the truth between Victoria P. and Alayah that he turned a pool party into a low-rent police investigation and interrogated many of the other women just so he could make up his own mind. Then, he cut Alayah loose, but when producers let her come back a few days later, Peter not only took her back, but gave her the rose for that day, when all of the other ladies had worked their asses off to impress him during a tag football group date. Then, when the women got mad at him, he dumped Alayah...again.

The last few episodes saw Peter have sex during fantasy suites week, knowing that Madison Prewett had told him beforehand that she wouldn't be cool with that if it happened, which led to much back and forth between Peter, Madi and his other final pick, Hannah Ann Sluss. Peter got engaged to Hannah Ann, but only after Madi dumped him, and without him telling Hannah Ann anything about what had happened with Madi.

They were engaged for about a month before Peter went to Hannah Ann and apologized for not being able to "give you what you want," which basically led to him taking the coward's way out and letting Hannah Ann break off their engagement. During the live finale, he and Madi said they were going to give a relationship another try, but Peter's family, led by mom Barbara Weber, said they wouldn't support him in that decision, and he and Madi announced their breakup two days later.

Man, I was right there watching that whole mess, and I'm still getting some kind of anxiety reaction from recounting it. Colton really might not be giving Peter enough credit for how screwy his season was, even considering that Colton knows, firsthand, how the producers work behind the scenes to push the drama forward as much as possible, as opposed to making sure that something like true love has the clearest way forward in the Bachelor franchise.

At least Colton acknowledges that it's pretty easy to feel sympathy for Madi and Hannah Ann, as well as hoping that this wild experience helped Peter grow and become a better person. I mean, I feel like it probably didn't, but we can all hope, right?

Almost all things The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (Including Clare Crawley's 2020 season...dammit!) are currently on hold, like many other TV projects, but the new franchise series The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart will still debut as planned on April 13, as it finished filming many weeks ago. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Clare Crawley's (potential) 2020 season of The Bachelorette, a.k.a Season 16!

It's been a rough-ish week, right Bachelor Nation? Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor wrapped up with one of the most dramatic finales ever, which led to him and Madison Prewett breaking up just two days later, and then we found out that Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette was postponed to try to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Now it looks like Clare and her Bachelor ex-boyfriend, Juan Pablo Galavis, might still have some bad blood between them.

While it would have been easy enough for the two to continue to stay out of contact with each other after Clare had to tell Juan Pablo off at the end of his very dramatic season of The Bachelor, it seems like he just couldn't resist poking at Clare over something that quite a few fans have had an issue with as her season began to gear up. JP did what most people do when they want to get a public rise out of folks and took his message to Twitter. Take a look:

Siiiiiigh...Insert fart noise and aggressive eye-rolling here. But! If you think Clare was going to stand for this, albeit mild, shade from JP, think again. She took him to task pretty quickly after he responded to a fan who called him "jealous" and "petty" in his response:

Alright, I can see some people taking Juan Pablo's side (but probably not many of them) and saying he wasn't being shady, but simply reacting the way many of us did when we first heard about how many of Clare's Coterie would be dudes in their 20s. I think there are three important factors to dispute that notion, though, meaning that he totally deserved Clare's strong comeback. First of all, it's hard not to notice JP's selective use of ALL CAPS in both of his tweets, which seem to indicate that Clare, specifically, isn't suited to date younger men.

Secondly, that winky face emoji after he claims to just find all the young men who were chosen for Clare's season "fascinating" looks to be the very definition of shady. And, last but not least, if he was just intrigued by this development, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have bothered to @Clare to make damn sure she would see his tweet. This messy man was trying to start some shit, all right? Chris Harrison had her back, though:

In case you're still in the dark on Clare's (still upcoming, I hope) time as The Bachelorette, you might be wondering what the big deal is about most of her guys being so young. Well, provided the season still films this year, Clare will be 39-years-old and the most senior of the Bachelorettes who've ever led the show. Much of Bachelor Nation had been calling for the franchise to shift away from men and women in their 20s, because of how immature and totally not ready for marriage most of them have seemed in the past several seasons, so there was great hope Clare's time would remedy some of that.

Then, the full list of Clare's Coterie came out, and, lo and behold, most of the men were way younger than Clare, with only three men in their mid-30s through early 40s. As I said last week, I have no problem with an up to 10 year age spread on either side of Clare's 39 years, but having most of the men be way younger (Including one 23-year-old!) made it seem like the producers were setting her up to fail.

Clare still hasn't said that this was actually the way she wanted things to shake out for her gentleman choices on The Bachelorette, but she at least seems to have hope that all of them will be able to provide her with some solid dating / marriage options once her season gets underway.

Of course, Clare's season getting underway is exactly the issue, because as of last Friday, when they were supposed to being filming, the production actually decided to delay things for at least two weeks, to aid the efforts of many productions (and the nation in general) in stopping the spread of the coronavirus. So, right now we don't know if Clare Crawley will get her Bachelorette season soon, later this year or not at all. Here's what Chris Harrison had to say about the production shutdown on Instagram:

We might have a while to wait to see if Clare can begin her journey on The Bachelorette, but, in the meantime, we can look forward to The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart, the new musical franchise show which will begin airing on April 13, and has already filmed its dramatic finale. Remember how Peter Weber was rumored to end up with one of The Bachelor’s producers? It was one of the 2020 season’s most prevalent fan theories, and it picked up so much steam that even The Bachelor’s host, Chris Harrison, ended up weighing in on it. Fast forward past that “scary” live finale, and that producer, Julie LaPlaca, is speaking out.

Now that Peter’s season of The Bachelor is finally over, it is time to clear up the air surrounding the friendly skies that Peter has flown. The producer at the center of all of the speculation is doing just that on social media. Julie LaPlaca posted a picture confirming fans’ speculation about one aspect, and seeming to deny the other. Check out her Instagram post:

Julie LaPlaca denied kissing Peter at midnight during this past New Year’s. She also indicated that whoever Peter ends up with will be very fortunate. As of now, Peter is single following his surprising breakup with Madison Prewett, not too long after The Bachelor’s live finale. A fireworks show that Chris Harrison admitted hating to watch.

As for the producer and Peter ending up together? Fans will have to wait and see. Right now, it seems like the two are platonic. Back when The Bachelor’s host, Chris Harrison, had weighed in on the rumor that Peter was dating the producer, Harrison called the relationship “intimate” and then said after spending so much time together, “sometimes lines get blurred.”

Is there a chance that Peter and producer Julie could end up together? Anything is certainly possible in these highly uncertain Bachelor times. Peter and Madison seemed to be a united front during the finale, only to break up just days later. Now the world waits to see what Peter does next.

Peter’s mom Barb may have wished those rumors about Peter ending up with Kelley Flanagan were true. How would she feel if Peter ended up getting with The Bachelor producer instead? Something tells me that Barb would let her son (and the world) know. Time will have to reveal what happens now that The Bachelor is over. So much has happened already!

Hannah Ann Sluss shared a timeline for her breakup with Peter. Meanwhile, Madison’s dad has shared how he felt watching The Bachelor finale and suffice it to say, he supports his daughter. Fans will have to stay tuned to see what happens with Peter, the producer, and his romantic future.

Phew! This week in Bachelor Nation news has been a true roller coaster! First, we had all the live drama between Peter Weber, and his The Bachelor finale-mates Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss. Then his mom Barbara Weber tore her son and Madi a new one on live TV, Peter and Madi broke up and now...Now it's been confirmed that Season 16 of The Bachelorette, a.k.a. Clare Crawley's season, has been postponed.

I'm sure you can imagine why producers have decided not to go ahead with filming, but here's what happened. According to Entertainment Weekly, Warner Bros. Television, which produces The Bachelorette, released a statement explaining that, that's right, coronavirus fears are just too great for those behind the company to feel totally safe starting production on the show, which had been slated to begin today. Here's the full statement:

Man, I totally get it. But, that doesn't mean that I'm not bummed, especially since the statement gave no word on whether or not Clare's season will be scrapped entirely, or if they're just doing a cautionary shutdown for a few weeks before starting up again. Considering how things are going with the outbreak of the virus, that's probably because they simply don't know right now.

We had already heard that Clare's time on The Bachelorette was likely going to be kept within the borders of the U.S. due to coronavirus concerns. First, the production halted a planned trip to film in Rome, Italy, then we heard spoiler info from Reality Steve which said they'd actually decided to stop any international travel plans altogether.

Obviously, travel isn't the only worry with a show like The Bachelorette. While Warner Bros. was very clear in stating that no one on any of its shows has tested positive, if the show left the confines of Bachelor Mansion, there would be a possibility of someone catching it. And, we all know that Clare and the bachelors who've been chosen to appear on her season would be doing a lot of touching and swapping a lot of spit, so there would be almost no way to control the spread within that population if it got to them.

Speaking of both the possibility of The Bachelorette having to deal with the coronavirus and Clare's bachelors. Twitter has had some fun thoughts on what this postponement could mean. For instance, there are some people who think that filming actually can continue:

You probably won't be surprised at the impressive number of people who support this idea. And, while I can freely admit that I'd be down to watch The Bachelorette: Clare's Quarantine, do we really want these folks trapped together for two months? Do you know what kind of madness that amount of cabin fever might produce? It would turn into The Purge in that damn mansion!

I went on record just a couple of days ago and said that I was disappointed by the men who've been chosen for Clare's season. She'll be 39 in about a week, yet most of the men who were picked for her by production are in their 20s to early 30s. Well, it sounds like a lot of folks agree with my displeasure, and hope that the production delay can take care of it:

My guess as an answer to this question? No. People are probably going to be very nervous about flying, meeting lots of new people, sharing living spaces with them and getting all kissy with a woman who's kissing 29 other dudes for at least a few months. But, this could still mean that some of these too-young men drop out and they have to be replaced. If that's the case, we could (maybe...possibly) see more older guys on Clare's Bachelorette season, should it pick back up at some point.

That leads me to another question, actually. What if they can't start filming The Bachelorette in a few weeks and have to scrap the whole thing this year? Will Clare still be our next Bachelorette or will they abandon her season and go back to the drawing board with another woman in her early 20s? Look, I really just want the coronavirus to stop and everyone to be / stay healthy, but I'm also gonna be super pissed when things get back to normal if they skip over Clare. She didn't start this pandemic so they shouldn't make her pay an unnecessary price for it!

I'm not over Peter Weber's After the Final Rose finale of The Bachelor, you guys. Nope, not quite yet. And, with good reason, seeing as how we're still getting information about how things went down for Madison Prewett's awkward family-time visit Australia, Peter's poorly thought out proposal to Hannah Ann Sluss and everything that has happened afterward. This, of course, includes how Peter's mom, Barbara Weber, acted on the live finale when she found out that he and Madi were planning for another shot at romance.

Even fans who agreed with the basic idea that Madi and Peter were too different to try romance again, were shocked to watch Barbara go on and on about how the two of them would fail, and detail all the reasons why, and why no one, out of all Peter's friends and family apparently, thought the relationship would work. Which, we now know, it didn't...but STILL. Damn, Barbara; you're talking to your son like this on live television!

As you might imagine, Chris Harrison, who was right there in the midst of all the drama, was not cool with how The Bachelor finale turned out, either. Here's what he told Entertainment Weekly:

I'm sure Chris Harrison wasn't the only one who was sick to his stomach watching Barbara decline any familial support for Peter and Madison's romance. But, because he was present at the live taping and privy to what went on in Australia, Harrison has given us some background information on what happened prior to Madi's time with Peter's family, as well as something that he noticed during the finale.

First off, let's go back to what Barb said about Madison when the family had just flown half way around the world to talk to Peter's final two women. She said (several times) that Madison made them wait three hours before Peter was finally able to convince her to come and meet his parents and brother again (remember, she met them the first time during the first one-on-one date she and Peter had many weeks before). According to Chris Harrison, it wasn't fair for Barb to put the blame for all of that wait time on Madi. He told ET:

Wow. OK, Barb really did make it sound like it was all on Madison for their wait once they got to Australia when she was sitting there dressed like a funeral was about to go down on the live finale, didn't she? Well, it turns out that their wait was just about Madi and Peter trying to hash out relationship details, which, as Chris Harrison pointed out, really did need to be discussed. (I mean, it didn't help. But at least they tried?)

The other added bit of info takes us back to what happened live during the finale. After we watched video of Peter and Hannah Ann breaking up at that mystery location that Bachelor Nation managed to track down a few weeks ago, Hannah Ann came out to confront Peter about his broken promises. Now, I didn't really think that Perter should have ended up with Hannah Ann, either, especially not with the circumstances surrounding that proposal, but no one can argue that she didn't stand up for herself during the breakup and call Peter out on some very important points when she sat down for the finale.

Pretty much everyone watching saw how much support Barb had for Hannah Ann as she was telling Peter off (with a lot of admirable sophistication), but what Chris Harrison saw that most of us probably missed is that all of those applause for Hannah Ann started with Barb. That's right folks, Barb was so against her son leaving Hannah Ann behind and pursuing Madison again that she basically turned against her kid on live TV.

This whole season of The Bachelor? Well, it has me sorta exhausted. I can't wait to move on to whatever messy drama The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart and Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette have in store for us, though. I need a reality TV romance palate cleanser so I can forget about Peter Weber, Barb and the whole lot of 'em.

OOOOOh, weeeeeee! Bachelor Nation, we all knew things were going to be tough for Peter Weber and Madison Prewett after we saw what happened on that live, After the Final Rose Bachelor finale Tuesday night, but it did not take long for romance bombs to start dropping. Few of us can get the words and images out of our heads after watching Peter's mom, Barbara Weber, stick to her Madison-hate guns and then double down on her feelings...on live television with Peter and Madison sitting right in front of her. Now, the couple has already officially broken up...AGAIN.

If you're thinking this is just a hint of a rumor that we're going off of here, unfortunately for Maditer fans (I have no idea what their blended name would have been, OK?), the news of Peter and Madison breaking up and deciding to forgo any more romantic opportunities together has come from Ms. Prewett herself, via Instagram. Take a look:

Boy, oh boy, Oh. BOY. Alright, there is a lot I could pick apart here, but let's just deal with what Madison said in her post. After giving thanks for her whole experience on The Bachelor, she notes that she's better for it and has "learned the importance of acceptance, forgiveness, and grace," before dropping the information that she and Peter have "decided to go our separate ways." It sounds so mature and civilized, doesn't it? I am pretty sure it was exactly that simple, while also being a time which was filled with hot, hot tears of anger and disappointment.

So, Madison's post came in the wee hours of the morning, and after what happened on The Bachelor finale, I really can't imagine that she and Peter weren't trying to figure out how to move on from the time the cameras stopped rolling until right up to when she posted about their breakup. That's two full days of conversations about how, exactly, they could date when all of Peter's family was sour on the idea of him being with Madison, and his mom had been very vocal about how Peter would need to "fail to succeed" in his relationship with her.

Now, Barb had a lot of solid reasons for not liking Madison or the idea of Peter dating (potentially marrying) her. We found out that Madison made the Webers wait for three hours after getting to Australia to meet them, with Peter having to talk her into it, and that when Barb asked Madison if she was in love with Peter she said no and that she wouldn't accept his proposal if asked. Barb and the family were already unsure about how Madison's very religious nature and Peter's love of sex and partying would mesh, so this was the nail in the coffin for Barb.

Now, here's the other thing. While a lot of people in Bachelor Nation agreed with Barb in thinking that a relationship with Peter and Madison wouldn't work because their values seemed too different, it's possible that this breakup has to do not only with their differing lifestyles, and the fact that Peter's family hates Madison. According to Reality Steve, there have been rumors floating around for the past three months that once Peter was done filming he did something that Madison most certainly wouldn't approve of: sleep around with several women.

And, the most important of these women? Kelley Flanagan! She who says she wasn't invited to the Women Tell All, but whom producers made damn sure to have in the audience at the finale. There have been "rumors swirling" since Super Bowl weekend (a few days after Hannah Ann Sluss gave Peter's engagement ring back) that Peter and Kelley spent the weekend together and made with the sexytimes. Kelley says now that she and Peter aren't dating, which could very well be true, but that doesn't mean they didn't spend a weekend together.

Also, lending some truth to the weekend bangathon rumors, is the fact that Peter's family follows Kelley on Instagram, and, on Tuesday night after the finale when she posted her well wishes to "everyone involved," Barb replied by saying, "You were and will always be my Fav," and lavishing Kelley with other forms of praise.

Part of the reason Madison got back with Peter was that he claimed he had more feelings for her than for Hannah Ann. And, this might be true, but if rumors are to be believed it's also true that he couldn't stop his windmill sex ways after telling Hannah Ann he couldn't give her what she wants. If Madison confronted him, over the past two days, about these rumors and he copped to any sex with anyone else, that activity (on top of the family-hate) would certainly lead to a breakup, as well.

Man, what a mess, right? I mean, it was a mess all season, but this aftermath mess is kinda wearing a girl out, you know what I mean?

Peter Weber's time as The Bachelor is finally over, but Bachelor Nation keeps rolling on. April 13 will see the premiere of the new musical entry in the franchise, The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart, which has already given us some major fuck boy spoilers, so be sure to check those out. Oh boy. The Bachelor 2020 finale showed Peter Weber propose to Hannah Ann Sluss, then showed their breakup, followed by Peter reconnecting with runner-up Madison Prewett. Along the way, Hannah Ann noted that 2019 Bachelorette Hannah Brown re-entered the conversation. If you thought you were blindsided by what happened, so was Hannah Ann, since there's so much she didn't know until watching the ABC season back.

The Bachelor 2020 Final Rose Ceremony

Bachelor Peter's final rose ceremony was reportedly held on November 17, 2019 in Australia. As we know -- but Hannah Ann did not know at the time -- Madison quit shortly before the final rose ceremony in a dramatic emotional exit. Peter only presented it to Hannah Ann as Madison leaving a couple of days prior. Bachelor Peter "completely downplayed" his relationship with Madison the whole time, Hannah Ann told Rachel and Becca. Hannah Ann told the Bachelorettes that she had an inkling that she wasn't getting complete information from Peter, and that's part of why she hesitated before showing up to the final rose ceremony -- leading to Chris Harrison's final rose ceremony update. But Peter said he was going to make a choice that was best for both of them and asked her to trust him, so she did.

Peter And Hannah Ann Were Together When The Bachelor 2020 Premiered

The Bachelor traditionally premieres on the first Monday in January and that happened again with Season 24, which premiered on Monday, January 6, 2020 on ABC. As Rachel Lindsay noted on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, they had Peter on their show the first week in January and also talked to his mom Barb, who was so happy at the time -- because Peter and Hannah Ann were still together. They had videos posted January 7th, which was also when Peter went on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Jimmy Kimmel predicted that Peter would pick Hannah Ann. Interestingly enough, during Rachel's Jan. 7th interview with Peter, the day after the first episode, she compared Hannah Ann to The Bachelorette's Luke P. and Peter defended her.

Peter Wanted 'Closure' With Hannah Brown A Week Before Breakup With Hannah Ann

Bachelorette Rachel asked Hannah Ann when she and Peter had the Bachelor safe-house breakup conversation that we saw on TV. Hannah Ann said it was in the beginning of January that he approached her that he needed to speak with Hannah Brown. He said he needed closure, and Hannah Ann was confused. As Hannah Ann pointed out, she was not on that Hannah Brown group date during The Bachelor and had no idea Peter and Hannah Brown were all cozy like that until the episode aired.

So Hannah Ann was confused when Peter Weber brought up talking to Hannah Brown again and didn't know why she should feel comfortable with that. He didn't seem ready for any committed relationship.

Bachelorette Becca Kufrin wondered if "Hannah Brown" was code for Peter speaking to other women, including Madison Prewett. Hannah Ann wasn't sure, since it was so close to them breaking up.

When the season started, Hannah Ann said Peter admitted to her he had "unresolved issues." But she said he completely downplayed his relationship with Madison and that breakup was the first time he admitted he couldn't give her his whole heart. But Hannah Ann said even after the breakup Peter couldn't really own his emotions when it came to Madison. He reached out to Hannah Ann's parents -- Ranger Rick! -- and said that he was "struggling processing his emotions." He was very vague and "speaks half-truths," as she put it. Whenever the Madison conversation came up, in terms of why she left or whatever, Peter acted like it was in the past and kept giving Hannah Ann reassurance. But as the season started airing, things just weren't adding up.

Peter And Hannah Ann Broke Up Super Bowl Week

As to the exact timing of that breakup visit, according to Reality Steve, Peter and Hannah Ann broke up at the end of January in the week leading up to the Super Bowl. Peter was acting single at the Super Bowl, reports said, and technically he was single at that point.

Madison Filmed With The Bachelor Team On February 11

You'll recall the major Madison updates from early February -- including that she was spotted with The Bachelor production team on February 11 in Alabama. Now we know that was part of filming for Chris Harrison's visit. Also, as Reality Steve noted, Madison was at the baby shower for Peter's good friend Courtney back on February 1st. That was just days after Peter and Hannah Ann ended the engagement, and there's a good chance Madison and Courtney talked about Peter at the time, so Chris Harrison's chat was probably not the first time Madison was getting the news about Peter and Hannah Ann.

So it sounds like the breakup played out a few weeks after The Bachelor 2020 started airing, and a few weeks after Jimmy Kimmel predicted Peter picked Hannah Ann but Tiffany Haddish read Peter's expression and thought he picked Madison. (So Kimmel was right again! But so was Tiffany!) As we saw, Hannah Brown had a major presence on screen for the first couple of episodes and there was speculation that she might return in the finale. That did not happen, but now we know from Hannah Ann that even Peter was interested in getting further off-camera closure with Hannah Brown.

If Bachelorette Clare Crawley wasn't already on her way to finding love (again) I think Hannah Ann would've made an awesome bachelorette. But I have a feeling she's going to kill it on Bachelor in Paradise, and maybe she'll even get engaged like her friend Hannah Godwin last summer. She doesn't seem to have any hard feelings against ABC:

Will Bachelor Peter and Madison last in the real world? I sincerely doubt it -- Peter can't seem to keep it in his pants, or keep his eye from wandering -- but I kind of hope they do, just to stick it to his mother Barb for being so vicious about everything and saying he'd have to "fail to succeed." But I also wouldn't be shocked if Peter showed up on Bachelor in Paradise this summer just to stir the pot and sleep with anyone who'd have him.

You only have to have a casual knowledge of The Bachelor season starring Peter Weber to know that it was dramatic beyond belief. From the anxious wait for spoilers to reveal the unusual ending to when that ending finally aired, it has been an intense ride for fans. So, how did Madison Prewett’s dad feel watching the 2020 finale?

Madison’s dad, Chad Prewett (aka Coach Prewett), may have spoiled the ending of said finale. His daughter did end up with Peter Weber. A revelation that Chad’s activity on Instagram seemed to hint at. First, a quick recap, so you can understand the full context of Madison’s dad’s feelings.

In The Bachelor’s conclusion, Madison “self-eliminated” as spoiled. To the delight of Peter’s mother, Barbara, Peter ended up proposing to Hannah Ann Sluss, and she accepted. Hannah Ann’s happily ever after with Peter did not last long, though. Peter broke up with Hannah Ann and worked to reconcile with Madison. Thus, pulling a Jason Mesnick and Arie Luyendyk Jr. and changing his initial decision to instead pursue his runner-up.

Peter’s mother did not hold back, sharing how she felt about her son’s decision. She laid out her case against Madison while Madison and Peter sat in front of the live studio audience. How does Madison’s dad feel about what unfolded in The Bachelor finale, knowing that his daughter is not getting the warmest welcome from Peter’s mom? Here’s what Chad tweeted:

Chad Prewett did not say anything about Pilot Pete by name in his tweet. All of it focused on his daughter Madison. Considering that she is working on a relationship with Peter and he expressed his support, does that mean Coach Prewett also supports her trying with Peter? He said, “Proud is an understatement.”

Madison replied to her dad’s tweet by tweeting back, “Love you so much.” Coach Prewett did not address the backlash that Madison had received from Peter’s mother. During The Bachelor’s live 2020 finale, Barb Weber said that Madison had made Peter’s family wait three hours to meet them. Peter’s family was “exhausted” after traveling all the way from Australia, only to have Madison put off meeting them.

Barb added that Madison never apologized and told Peter’s mom she was not madly in love with him and would not accept a marriage proposal. She also said that Peter would have to “fail to succeed” during The Bachelor’s finale. Madison’s dad on the other hand is clearly fully supportive of his daughter.

Is he supportive of her staying with Peter? Reality Steve's spoilers for hometown dates had mentioned that Coach Prewett never gave his blessing for Peter to marry Madison. Madison ended up walking away from Peter in the first half of The Bachelor’s finale. After Chris Harrison visited Madison to tell her that Peter had broken things off with Hannah Ann, she agreed to give her relationship with Peter another shot.

Now, the world waits to see if Madison and Peter can make a relationship work away from the watchful eye of cameras. The latest couple out of The Bachelor certainly has their work cut out for them. There were issues between them during the show. Peter admitted to being “intimate” with other women during the season. Madison did not take it well.

Despite all of the turmoil on The Bachelor, Peter has come to believe that he loves Madison and broke up with Hannah Ann to give them a go. Hannah Ann admitted there were many red flags tied to that engagement. Time will tell if Madison and Peter end up sticking together or falling apart.

Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor is over, which can only mean one thing! This winter and spring’s premieres and Clare Crawley’s installment of The Bachelorette are next! Warning: Spoilers ahead for Clare Crawley's 2020 season of The Bachelorette, a.k.a. Season 16!

You guys? Dating is hard. I have literally never heard anyone, especially in this modern, app-obsessed day and age, proclaim, "Dating is so much fun! I just love everything about it!" While much of Bachelor Nation has dragged some people on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette for only wanting fame and not actual relationships, I do believe that quite a few of those involved are looking to find their forever love, or are at least open to it. Well, Clare Crawley's potential bachelors for her 2020 season of The Bachelorette have just been revealed, and I am not impressed by the choices she's been given.

Let's back up just a bit so you'll understand why myself and other fans find Clare's coterie (as it currently stands) lacking. When Clare was announced as Bachelorette, a lot of people had some very shitty things to say about the fact that, at 38-years-old, Clare is now the oldest lead of The Bachelorette. She's also a four-time veteran of the franchise, having last been seen on the 2018 season of Bachelor Winter Games. Some folks couldn't handle that Clare's not 23, which has become the most common age for women in the franchise.

But, some of us who spent the bulk of Peter Weber's disastrously dramatic season of The Bachelor calling for future seasons to introduce some leads / contestants who might (might) possibly (hopefully?) have some additional maturity due to the simple fact of them being older were very happy to hear about Clare leading Season 16 of The Bachelorette. Because so many of the people we see in the franchise have been so young for so many seasons in a row, though, I wondered if producers were going to be able to find appropriate men for our Clare.

Spoilers from Reality Steve told us that, after the last minute decision to cast Clare as the 2020 lead of The Bachelorette, they cut three men in their mid-20s who had already been cast, with one 23-year-old likely to get cut as well. Steve also noted that they had gone back to the drawing board to find men who would be more mature and within Clare's age range, even interviewing some for the very first time recently.

Photos of all the men chosen (with a couple of extras who will not make the final cut) have finally been released on The Bachelorette Facebook page and, lordy, lordy...this ain't no party! Get a look at them first, and we can talk details:

I'm sure you scrolled through the bunch, and, while most of these pictures are terrible, the more pressing (sigh depressing) issue is the age of all but three of the men who've potentially been cast. Only three of Clare's Coterie are in their mid-30s to early 40s? How is this possible?

Now, I'm not saying that everyone on Clare's season needed to be 38 or 39 (Clare will actually have her birthday about a week into filming). I am, in fact, totally cool with there being a 10 year range for these dudes, with some being up to 10 years younger than Clare, some being up to that much older than her, and most being right around her actual age. So...honestly Bachelorette producers. What deep fuckery is this?

Only eight men are in their 30s at all, with most of them being in their early-30s. Do they at least seem like they'd be a fun hang for Clare while she searches for true love? You tell me; take a look at this winner by the name of Josh E., who's 31 and hails from Minneapolis, MN:

OK, Josh, calm down. You haven't even met Clare yet...Or, did you think you'd be meeting Hannah Ann Sluss or Madison Prewett? LOL! I'm sorry, sir. So very, very sorry. We also have several, wait, let me count...23 men who are in their 20s. STILL! And, of those men, 11 are under 27-years-old. I know what you're thinking: We were told they were cutting some men in that very age range. Why would there still be so many of them? Excellent question! I'd really like to know why Clare is going to be subjected to James C. from Chicago, who is only 23-years-old:

Sure, James is cute with his deep dimples and lush eyebrows, and his photo is better than most of the guys', but do we really think this champion is ready to get engaged in a few weeks and be married with kids in potentially just a couple of years? I'm sure most of the men who've been chosen are at least semi-decent human beings (no misogynistic tweets or photos with any of these dudes in blackface have come out...yet), but we all know that if this were a 38-year-old lead for The Bachelor and most of his women were this young, we'd be annoyed.

So, I think one of two things happened here. First, either the producers simply weren't organized enough to change course so quickly and pick a lead with some good years on her, meaning that their talent pool was still woefully young and they couldn't entice enough older men to audition at such a late date. Or, and this is the conspiracy theorist in me (Thanks, Mom!), they really don't want this idea of an older lead to succeed.

This franchise casts people all year round; meaning that even when none of the shows are filming or airing (granted, not much of the year makes up this time period), they're looking at photos, social media accounts, having conversations with potential bachelors and bachelorettes to date the leads and narrowing down the entries. As noted earlier, the past several seasons have seen younger leads and contestants, so their pool of potentials is pretty youthful right now.

But, Peter Weber's season, as well as Hannah Brown's 2019 season of The Bachelorette, led many fans to call for older leads / suitors. Maybe we've been seeing such young people on the franchise because that's who's been trying out. It's much easier to leave your life behind to go on the show for a couple of months when you have fewer responsibilities. The younger you are the more likely you are to not have children, pets, a home you own, or a job that requires you not take off for eight weeks and be totally unreachable.

In short, I think that the producers are trying to throw us a bone by casting Clare as the lead. They don't want to fill the shows with people in their 30s or (Egad!) 40s, because those people will be too hard to cast, and I'm sure they're also worried that they will be too mature to create the kind of insane drama the shows have become known for.

So, they make Clare Crawley The Bachelorette in 2020, but do it with a bunch of men who will likely not be up to her standards. The test fails, and they can go back to having pageant also-rans and social media influencers populate most of the shows, while they give us The Bachelor: Senior Lovin’ (or whatever the senior citizen version will be called) to satisfy those who argue that everyone in the franchise is too damn young.

Look, I’m not, by any means, saying that if the producers had populated Clare’s season with nothing but men between the ages of 38 and 42 that they’d all be sane, gentlemanly, intelligent guys that she could actually fall in love with. Being the same age doesn’t guarantee that they’d have enough of the same values, dreams, or interests to make a long-term romance work. But, I do feel like The Bachelorette has stacked the deck against Clare in Season 16, and I’m not OK with that.

I’m really rooting for Clare on this season of The Bachelorette, so we’ll have to see how things shake out for her when it begins airing on May 18. In the meantime, stay tuned to CinemaBlend for Bachelor Nation spoilers and news!

Why was it "important" for attorney Kelley Flanagan to be at Peter Weber's The Bachelor 2020 finale? When Chris Harrison introduced her in the audience that way, some fans' radars went up. There was already a rumor that Kelley was pregnant with Peter Weber's baby and that's why she wasn't at the "Women Tell All" special. The rumor suggested the big twist ending was that Peter went back to Kelley -- the woman he met in that hotel before The Bachelor Season 24 filming even started, then dumped before hometown dates -- and they were together in the end.

Turns out, Bachelor Peter did not end up with Kelley. (Not yet anyway, see more rumors below). However, it looks like Peter's mom Barb -- who pretty much owned the "After the Final Rose" episode -- is a huge fan of Kelley and even wrote that she was her favorite.

Kelley Flanagan posted two photos on Instagram after The Bachelor 2020 finale aired on Tuesday, March 10. Peter Weber's mom Barb posts as "sweetnums" and she wrote this gushing comment on Kelley's first post:

On that same post, one fan asked the obvious question, in caps lock to emphasize its importance. Kelley responded with her truth:

Other fans noted it was "probably for the same importance that Neil Lane was 'in the house'" -- potentially as a false trail for fans to think maybe Bachelor Peter Weber was going to do a live proposal. That was one potential spoiler that came out last week, that Peter might propose to Madison Prewett live on the ATFR special. Instead, we watched the pre-taped proposal of Peter getting engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss in Australia, only to dump her -- or she dumped him, I suppose -- and then Chris Harrison played matchmaker to get Peter and Madison back together.

Yep, Jason + Arie all over again. The finale ended with Madison and Bachelor Peter facing the wrath of Barb but appearing to at least give their relationship a chance, one day at a time.

Another fan in Kelley's comments shared another potential reason for Chris Harrison saying it was "important" for Kelley to be The Bachelor 2020 finale, after she wasn't even asked to be part of The Bachelor's "Women Tell All":

After The Bachelor 2020 finale, Reality Steve updated on rumors he'd heard all season and noted that -- while he bashed the Kelley talk during the season -- maybe we can't really discount some of the rumors about Peter and Kelley:

Many Bachelor fans are hoping to see Kelley Flanagan again, perhaps on Bachelor in Paradise. (I feel like Hannah Ann has to be a lock for Paradise, especially since 1) she's not the Bachelorette and 2) her friend Hannah Godwin got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise last year.)

Back to Barb, though. Barb has made it clear she loves just about everyone EXCEPT Madison. She cried with love for Hannah Ann, was shown gushing over new Bachelorette Clare Crawley at the end of the "After the Final Rose" and just called Kelley her favorite. She's going out of her way to love every woman except the one her son loves. It's awkward.

Clare's The Bachelorette 2020 continues this crazy train starting Monday, May 18 on ABC. First, we have that "Listen To Your Heart" spinoff and we have spoilers on how it ends if you want 'em.

Warning: Big Spoilers Ahead for the live finale of Peter Weber's 2020 Season of The Bachelor, a.k.a Season 24!

Oh, my word, Bachelor Nation! We finally got to see just how Peter Weber would end his time as The Bachelor during the second part of the live two-night finale on Tuesday, and Chris Harrison might have been right when he said that this would it be the most dramatic finale ever. Sure, there were spoilers aplenty which told us that Peter would propose to Hannah Ann Sluss, break off the engagement after a while and then go after Madison Prewett, but we didn't know about once crucial factor: Peter's mom, Barbara Weber. And, because of that, the finale ended up being truly "scary" for those at ABC.

If you've seen the finale and the whole After the Final Rose special, you'll know that Barb, who had met and originally liked Madison way back when Peter brought her to meet his folks on their first one-on-one date, had turned on Madison by the time Peter whittled his choices down to her and Hannah Ann. Peter told his parents about Madison's no-sex-with-your-other-girlfriends-please ultimatum, and that really turned the tide, along with Madison's more religious / less party-centric lifestyle, which doesn't match with what Peter's parents have seen from him.

While it's true that no one in Peter's immediate family thought that he and Madison were a good match, Barb is the one who really went for the gold. The clip we had been seeing all season of her crying and begging Peter to "bring her back home to us!" was actually her plea for him to propose to Hannah Ann. And, when Madison broke up with Peter after her combative meeting with his folks, that's what he did. But, after about a month, they broke up because of his wavering feelings and he sorta worked things out with Madison, enough for them to sit on stage at the live show and talk about rekindling their romance for real.

Here is where it got scary, because Barb was not having it. Generally parents on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, even if they aren't happy with their kid's choice of partner, defer to their decision and say they want the best for them and will be there no matter what. Barbara Weber did not do that. She told everyone, on live TV, that Peter was going "to have to fail to succeed" in his relationship with Madison. When asked if those at ABC knew how ugly the confrontation was going to get, network executive Rob Mills told Variety:

Obviously, Rob Mills and those who produce The Bachelor, not to mention Peter Weber, all knew that Barb was not down with Madison and her son having any kind of relationship going forward. But, it was pretty clear that no one was expecting Barb to double down on her dislike of the potential romance while on live television. I haven't exactly watched every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelroette, but I don't ever recall a parent actually getting booed during one of the live finales before. And, y'all, Barbara Weber got booed big time.

Rob Mills was also asked if he thought that Barb went too far when detailing the reasons why she wasn't happy about Madison and Peter's relationship (and unwillingness to support them as they gave it a shot), and here's what he said:

Alright, Rob Mills. I see you sidestepping the question and not telling us whether or not you think Barb went too far last night. So, I'm gonna just take that as a yes. Honestly, after watching what happened between Barb, Peter and Madison last night, it's hard to argue that Mrs. Weber did the right thing.

I was with Barb after she detailed how they'd just gotten off the plane to Australia, and Madison made the family wait for three hours before coming to see them, and then didn't apologize. Barb was also pissed that Madison straight up told her she wasn't fully in love with Peter yet, which I get would be troubling for any parent. But, going on and on about not supporting your son and his (possible) girlfriend, and how the romance is doomed...on live TV? Barb? You're doing too much and need to learn how to keep some of your family drama at home. Well, at least she didn't cry...

As Rob Mills said, lots of people have had to deal with their family not really liking (or, outright hating) the person they chose to spend their life with, but that knowledge is usually kept within a smallish circle of family and friends. This on-air confrontation lasted so long that we barely got to meet new Bachelorette Clare Crawley, and didn't get to see any of her suitors for Season 16, which is standard for the After the Final Rose finale. So, it begs the question: How can Peter and Madison continue this relationship with so much pressure from his family, and literally everyone knowing about it? Here's what Mills had to say:

This is all true. If Peter and Madison don't last as a couple, it will be very easy for Bachelor Nation to figure out why, no matter how far down the line it may happen. Many fans already had a lot of questions and issues with Peter potentially choosing Madison before we saw how little support they'd get from his family, but when you add that on top it seems sorta impossible for them.

We were all on this journey with Peter, and it was truly awkward 99% of the way through. If this leads to Peter finally moving out of his parent's house, though, at least some good will come out of it. And, that's actually me being serious, because it seems like Peter could really use some space from his family; Barbara Weber in particular. Plus, there's no way he and Madison can date with him living at home, considering how the Weber clan feels about her.

The Bachelor may be over for 2020, but there's more to come in Bachelor Nation. Spoilers ahead for the March 10 finale of Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor.

The end has come for Peter Weber's search for love on The Bachelor, but it didn't end without some confrontations in the live finale. First, Hannah Ann Sluss unloaded on Peter after he pulled an Arie Luyendyk on her, and then Peter's happy reunion with lady love Madison Prewett was tarnished by his mom, Barb Weber, not exactly hiding her dislike of the match.

Barb had been seen in trailer footage from very early in the season, tearfully begging Peter to "bring her home." It wasn't until the first half of the two-part finale this week that it became clear that Barb was talking about Hannah Ann. Barb showed a clear preference for Hannah Ann over Madison, even though the episode made it look like the family only had a few minutes with each of the women.

Basically, there wasn't that much for fans to really understand why Barb was so firmly Team Hannah Ann over Team Madison. Fortunately, Barb shared her feelings during the live portion of the finale on March 10. Barb initially stated that the previous episode didn’t show everything, and that her love for Hannah Ann came because Hannah Ann "embraced" her with love and "was so organic." Barb already loved Hannah Ann, so what happened with Madison meant she had a clear preference.

So, what happened with Madison? Barb explained:

When The Bachelor filmed the build-up to the final rose ceremony in Australia, Barb and the rest of the Weber family obviously wasn't watching the season and didn't know Madison's mindset. Waiting three hours and then not apologizing didn't come with any context, and Barb's expression indicated that even the context that has come with the season airing didn't endear Madison to her.

Of course, it probably didn't help that Madison's expression turned dismissive and irritated at Barb, which really painted a picture of a sympathetic mom wanting the best for her son and a rude young woman. Is that really how it was? Viewers can decide for themselves which woman is more sympathetic.

It's hard to blame Barb for not falling head over heels for the woman who wouldn't commit to loving her son when Hannah Ann was right there warmly professing her feelings, in my book, although this escalated pretty quickly. For their part, Peter tried to insist to his family that their love is what matters and Madison tried to say that these issues should be discussed between her and Peter, but Barb wasn't done yet:

Tell us how you really feel, Barb! Honestly, Barb's speeches to Peter and Chris Harrison about Peter explained why Barb was seemingly siding with Hannah Ann when Hannah Ann went off on her son. Barb is apparently Team Hannah Ann to the bitter end! Somewhat hilariously, Barb seemed far warmer with new Bachelorette Clare Crawley than with her son or Madison.

Barb's husband, Pete Sr., was a little more diplomatic than his wife, but he made it clear that he sees the fundamental differences between Peter and Madison, and feels that the beginning of a relationship should be the fun, struggle-free part, which it was not for Peter and Madison. Peter himself acknowledged that they're facing a "million and one obstacles" and the battle will likely be uphill.

So, will Madison and Peter become a Bachelor Nation success story? Based on their reactions to Peter's parents, part of me thinks they'll stay together just to prove they can. Only time will tell, though.

For now, Bachelor Nation fans can look forward to the series premiere of The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart as the first music-based spinoff in the franchise. The Bachelorette will follow, with Bachelor Nation veteran Clare Crawley distributing the roses. The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart premieres Monday, April 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Unlike Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette, Listen To Your Heart presumably hasn't been affected by coronavirus.

The night is finally upon us, Bachelor Nation. We're about to get the sweet release we've all wanted for weeks from "Pilot" Peter "Windmill Sex" Weber's maddening season of The Bachelor. But, lest you think this will remove franchise spoilers from our lives for the next couple of months, there's much more to come! Season 16 of The Bachelorette, which will star four-time franchise vet Clare Crawley in 2020, will begin filming in just a few short days, on March 13. With that will come plenty of spoilers, but we might get them quite a bit quicker than usual this year.

Now, the master of Bachelor Nation spoilers, Reality Steve, is no slouch when it comes to supplying fans with all the details on the leads, their bachelors or bachelorettes, the dates, locations and every other aspect of the shows. But, sometimes it can take a while for that information to get to him, especially as the shows film in far flung locales. This year, though, that looks to be changing in a big way, because, according to Steve, all international travel has been put on hold for Season 16 of The Bachelorette.

Aside from the obvious side effect of denying fans a look at places like Iceland, Croatia and Italy (all countries where the production was previously looking to film), this means that spoilers will leak out way faster than usual, because it sounds like all of the action will take place around the United States.

OK, let's back up a bit and go over what's happening with Clare Crawley's 2020 season of The Bachelorette. While filming is still set to begin this Friday, last week word came down that Italy (they were planning to shoot in Rome) had been scrapped as a location due, naturally, to fears of the cast and crew getting the coronavirus, which has gained a nasty foothold in that country recently.

At the time, a spokesperson for Warner Bros., which produces the show, said that "production travel is being evaluated on a case-by-case basis" and they were using information from several health organizations to determine whether or not countries / cities were safe. But, now that spoilers are indicating that those behind The Bachelorette have actually decided to forgo all foreign travel, it means fans are a lot more likely to have info about Clare's dates, which men are on them and what they do if all of these things happen in the U.S.

As Reality Steve was quick to remind us, when The Bachelor or The Bachelorette film dates here, they are almost always public and even ask Bachelor Nation to come out to be a part of the dates. Sound weird? Well, if you think about Peter's season of The Bachelor (which is, again, blissfully almost over) I'm sure you remember the flag football date that left several women with bruises? Right! Of course you do!

That date happened in the same U.S. city as his awkward date with Chase Rice...I mean, Victoria F. (LOL) and Peter's soap box derby race with Kelsey, and both of those had crowds of fans to back them up. Plus, we found out about those dates and who was on them on the very day they filmed. While we don't have word on all the non-Los Angeles U.S. cities that will be featured on Season 16 of The Bachelorette yet, it sounds like we'll have much more information up front about Clare's dates than we did about Peter's this year.

Speaking of U.S. filming for Clare's season of The Bachelorette, spoilers have told us that Chattanooga, Tennessee will be featured on the series, which should be shown in Episode 4, and will film at the end of the month. According to Reality Steve, here are the filming schedules for the first three episodes, which will all take place in L.A.:

So, we'll have to wait and see what comes after Episode 4 and Clare's time in Chattanooga, but if you love spoilers her tour of the United States might be just the thing you need! The first half of The Bachelor's two-night finale of Peter Weber's season saw the long-awaited reveal of who Peter's mom, a.k.a. Barbara Weber, was talking about in the trailer shot when she tearfully begged her son not to "let her go." The Bachelor has been hyping that moment almost as much as Colton Underwood's fence jump in trailer footage, and the March 9 episode proved that she was not tearfully talking about Madison Prewett, but rather Hannah Ann Sluss. That's not to say she didn't tearfully talk about Madison a lot, and I'm left with the question: did Barbara ruin Peter's relationship with Madison?

Peter revealed Madison's fantasy suite ultimatum to his parents, and Barbara did not take well to the fact that Madison waited so long to share her beliefs or to how different their lifestyles seem to be. Honestly, Barbara does have a point that their lives might not be compatible outside of the Bachelor format, but she seemed to take it upon herself to prevent Peter from choosing Madison and Madison sticking in the race to win Peter's heart.

She said it's because she has emotions and she loves her son, but watching her immediately burst into tears when Peter stuck up for Madison really felt a little too manufactured for my taste. Just as Barbara has a point about their incompatible lifestyles, Peter had a very good point when he reminded his family that he's been dating these women and they barely even met them.

Still, Barbara managed to poke at Peter and Madison's insecurities to the point that Madison decided to leave before the rose ceremony and Peter was a wreck throughout his date with poor Hannah Ann. Sure, Madison already had her doubts and Peter was openly admitting to being in love with two women, but I feel like Madison wouldn't have left and Peter wouldn't have been so confused and shocked at her decision.

Rising up to defend Madison to his family seemed to settle his mind on Madison, whereas Madison's conversation with Barbara seemed to convince Madison that Peter was wrong for her, no matter how much love there was between them. I'm not really rooting for anybody at this point in Peter's season other than for him to make his decision so Clare Crawley can step up as the next Bachelor Nation star, but I do feel like Barbara did Peter and Madison dirty. Meanwhile, poor Hannah Ann has no idea what's happening other than that something is off with Peter.

So, what's happening in the second half of the finale? Well, Chris Harrison assured viewers that Madison will be back, and the trailer shows that Madison regrets her decision to leave like she did. The trailer also shows Barbara feeling those emotions again and loudly sobbing onto her husband's shoulder. Hopefully the season ends with some degree of closure for the whole Weber family, if there's going to be any kind of calm! If Madison does end up being Peter's pick, this episode would probably be pretty awkward for all of them to watch together!

According to spoilers for the second half of the two-part finale, the shocking twist before the rose ceremony could be that Hannah Ann is considering dumping Peter as well, meaning that he'd have nobody to propose to rather than a choice to make between two. That said, it's looking like Australia will end with Peter proposing and Hannah Ann accepting, but he might be pulling an Arie Luyendyk and dumping Hannah Ann for Madison. End spoilers.

What happens in The Bachelor 2020's live "After the Final Rose" episode, and will it show Peter Weber as the next Jason Mesnick and Arie Luyendyk Jr. to dump his fiancée and ask out (or even propose to) his runner-up? Or will there be still another last minute switch?

I'd love it if the spoilers were half true -- Peter gets engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss and dumps her for Madison Prewett ... but then Hannah Ann and Peter get back together again at the last minute! I was all for Peter and Madison but now I'm thinking Peter should be with Hannah Ann or stay single for a long, therapy-infused time.

But, seriously, what is with these Bachelors and their runners-up? Pick a freakin' lane, boys, you are not building a harem!

It took until the last minute for The Bachelor 2020 finale spoilers to show up, but Reality Steve updated Monday, March 9 to say Peter Weber got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss at the final rose ceremony, then later dumped her for Madison Prewett. That's Steve's story as of Monday night heading into the Tuesday "After the Final Rose" updates.

Madison quit before the final rose ceremony, but technically she was the runner-up. We saw her leave in the first night of the two-night Bachelor 2020 finale. It did seem like Peter wanted to pick her first, but after she left he didn't just pull a Colton Underwood and leave. He could have. But he stayed to date Hannah Ann and reportedly went ahead and picked the one woman remaining and proposed. (I blame Barb.)

The proposal reportedly happened after Chris Harrison returned for his big "there's something I just found out" speech that's been teased since the very first episode. Reality Steve was told Chris' final rose ceremony news was something about Hannah Ann considering leaving the show too. Ultimately, that didn't happen, even if it should have. Peter and Hannah Ann reportedly got engaged, and then he reportedly dumped Hannah Ann in a Bachelor safe house and reconnected with Madison, which we should see in footage Madison filmed post-season in Alabama.

Spoilers were all over the place this season, but one consistent thing has been the report that Bachelor Peter and Madison are currently together but not engaged. But Chris Harrison keeps saying we may think we know the ending but we don't. Is he just blowing smoke or is there another twist ahead? Peter's family loves Hannah Ann and she is moving near Peter right after the finale. But ... I don't know. I just don't know!

If Madison and Peter are still together, as spoiled, we need a State Of The Union update. Their relationship may be shaky OR Peter may propose during the live "After the Final Rose" special. If Peter and Madison do get engaged, and eventually married, that would be the THIRD Bachelor and runner-up to get married.

As I just noted in a rundown of The Bachelor and Bachelorette's 10 most dramatic endings, Bachelor Jason Mesnick became The Most Hated Bachelor of all time back in 2009 when he dumped fiance Melissa Rycroft for runner-up Molly Malaney. Jason and Melissa broke up off-camera and just had the most painfully awkward "After the Final Rose" episode, which aired in two parts; Part 2 included Jason asking out Molly. The good news is that Jason and Molly are still married now and have a daughter together.

Fast forward to 2018, and Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. pulled a similar move. He dumped fiancée Becca Kufrin, and this time ABC taped it as Arie followed crying Becca around the Bachelor safe house. The good news is that Arie and runner-up Lauren Burnham are now married and have a daughter.

Interestingly enough, 2006 Bachelor Lorenzo Borghese also briefly dated his runner-up Sadie Murray in the real world after he and his Chosen One Jennifer Wilson broke it off.

This is not a problem -- or solution? -- that Bachelorettes tend to have. Honestly, though, as much as I find it a problem, since it deeply hurts the woman who was briefly the "winner," there's something to be said for two Bachelor marriages so far from the dude going back to his runner-up. The only pure Bachelor marriage after 24 seasons and counting is from Sean Lowe actually marrying the woman he picked, Catherine Giudici.

On the other side, The Bachelorette has FOUR marriages to date after 15 seasons -- Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Desiree and Chris, and Rachel and Bryan. As of today, JoJo and Jordan and Becca and Garrett are still engaged, just not married yet. Conclusion: The Bachelorette is the superior show in every way.

Still, I'm rooting for The Bachelor to give us more love stories. Technically, Colton and Cassie are still together so they may surprise us all and get married someday. And if things do manage to work out with Peter and Madison ... I'd consider it a miracle, but I also think Justin Bieber just gave us a hint about how hard Peter might be working on making miracles happen.

Do you actually think Peter and Madison will get engaged during the live "After the Final Rose" episode or will they just give us an update on their relationship -- whether sweet or strained and awkward?

Whatever happens with Peter and Madison, Peter is going to have to face Hannah Ann again and answer for his actions. Awk-ward. Maybe Peter's mom will come out too and share her thoughts since she was clearly Team Hannah Ann all the way. I doubt it will be as tense as Melissa vs. Jason -- when she called him a bastard -- but hopefully that "I'm so sorry" speech from Peter to Hannah Ann at the Bachelor safe house isn't as painful as watching Arie follow Becca around.

Also on the "After the Final Rose," Bachelorette Clare Crawley may continue the tradition of meeting her first few men of Season 16. Reality Steve said her season officially starts filming this Friday, March 13, but she was already spotted filming with her Bachelor ex.

What do you HOPE happens? Peter and Madison engagement? Peter and Hannah Ann getting back together? Peter going solo because it's clear he's not ready to pick someone who is ready to pick him back?

The "Bring Her Home" mystery is solved in The Bachelor 2020 finale on ABC. But the new spoilers on that front beg a new question: Did Peter Weber's mother Barbara affect his decision when it comes to proposing to Hannah Ann Sluss? "Don't let her go" may not have been the best advice on that front.

Bachelor Peter Weber's journey finally ends tonight, Monday, March 9, and tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Reality Steve has not had the best spoilers this season, which has made the journey much more fun and intriguing -- but also confusing, maddening, and untrustworthy. So ... perfect for Peter's season!

One thing has stayed fairly consistent, though: Bachelor Peter is said to currently be dating Madison Prewett but they are not engaged. That's after the news that Madison quits before the final rose ceremony.

We thought Bachelor Peter's final rose ceremony did not end with a proposal -- and maybe even didn't happen at all, ala Bachelor Colton Underwood last year when Cassie Randolph quit. That was supposedly part of why Bachelor Peter did not have a "normal ending," something Reality Steve has said since mid-November. But in a last-minute spoilers change, that appears to not be the case at all.

That's where Hannah Ann comes in and if everything plays out as currently advertised, I wonder if it would've been less painful to just let her go before handing her the final rose.

Reality Steve's spoilers changed on the Monday, March 9, 2020 finale day itself, including four big updates related to Hannah Ann:

1) Peter's mother was talking about Hannah Ann with her tearful "don't let her go ... that's what love stories are made of" speech. Peter's family actually took a side on Madison vs. Hannah Ann -- not all families do that in the end -- and they saw Hannah Ann as a better match for him, per the March 9 updated spoilers. As Steve noted, Peter's focus was on Madison at that point, which was why he looked so miserable in that discussion with his mother. That's why I'm wondering if that tearful speech from Barbara influenced Peter's decision in what happened later.

2) Chris Harrison's mysterious last-minute news to Peter Weber is reportedly about Hannah Ann considering leaving the show. Apparently Hannah Ann also had some last-minute fears and almost pulled a Madison and quit. I don't even know what to say about that. I'm writing this before seeing the episode, so I hope she wasn't seriously thinking of quitting. If so, wow, what a commentary on Bachelor Peter.

3) Peter still had a final rose ceremony in mid-November 2019 and proposed to Hannah Ann. Even after Madison quit and Hannah Ann had her own doubts, Peter reportedly still proposed and Hannah Ann reportedly accepted.

4) Peter and Hannah Ann broke up at some point after the engagement, and that's the "I'm so sorry..." scene Peter taped in Los Angeles at one of the Bachelor safe houses. Apparently one major reason for the breakup was so Peter could pursue Madison -- and Madison was shown filming something with Bachelor producers in her home state of Alabama in early February 2020. I have to assume we'll see both Peter dump Hannah Ann and whatever Madison taped after the show during Tuesday's "After the Final Rose" episode.

At this point, it sounds like Peter and Madison are still together, but maybe not ready for a live proposal on Tuesday's live episode. I guess we'll see. I don't see how or why she would accept a proposal after Peter not only slept with other bachelorettes -- which openly upset Madison -- but he also reportedly proposed to one right after she left. Red Flag Nation!

I can't help but feel for Hannah Ann through all of this. Talk about getting the shaft. I have no idea why she would stick around and accept Bachelor Peter's proposal, if she knew by then that Madison was gone and there was a decent chance she was The Only Option. But really, I don't understand why Peter would propose to her if he knew she was having doubts and it was clear he was having doubts too. If Clare Crawley weren't already locked in as The Bachelorette 2020, it sounds like Hannah Ann could've made a good pick.

Back to Peter's mother, though. Obviously Peter's decisions are his own, but if his beloved mother made such a tearful pitch for Hannah Ann, you have to imagine that informed his decision to not just leave the show single after Madison left. "Pressure" may be a strong word, but I can imagine his family indulging the idea that Madison leaving was a sign that Hannah Ann was The One. Besides, Peter did say he fell in love with both Madison and Hannah Ann, complaining that the show might work TOO well.

But based on this new info, it sounds like maybe Justin Bieber DID confirm the ending, Jimmy Kimmel may have been right at the time he made his Hannah Ann prediction, but Tiffany Haddish was even more right to read Peter Weber's expression. Well done, Tiffany. Or maybe it's premature to celebrate, since I'm writing this Monday afternoon and not only could the spoilers still be wonky, the live "After the Final Rose" episode may be as mysterious as teased. Peter may not know how this ends because he needs to hear it from Madison herself...

Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD for the Season 24 finale of The Bachelor, a.k.a. Peter Weber's Season 24!

Oh. My. GOODNESS. It has been a long road Bachelor Nation, but the finale for Peter Weber's Season 24 of The Bachelor is now upon us! We've been teased all season long that Peter "won't have a normal ending" and his story will change "until the very last second," so we have been in the dark on whether or not he chooses Hannah Ann Sluss or Madison Prewett in the finale and how it all goes down. Well, we might finally, finally, have all the answers we so desire, thanks, of course, to spoilers.

All of this updated info comes from Reality Steve, who's spent the last few days getting conflicting information on the finale from two different camps, and has been working overtime to piece together what was actually just rumors and what was really going to happen. So, let's start with the details that have changed from the spoilers he'd previously given.

One of the big questions of the season, because of those maddening and thrilling promos, was whether or not Peter would end the season engaged. Last Thursday, Reality Steve said that Peter was going to cancel his final rose ceremony so that he could go talk to Madison, who'd already changed her mind and dumped him, leaving the show. But, he's hearing now that that was not actually the case. Peter does have his final rose ceremony, gives his rose to Hannah Ann and they get engaged on their last day in Australia! Reality Steve believes this is a whole day after Madison leaves Peter behind.

Part of Peter's struggle in the finale will be choosing between Madison and Hannah Ann after they meet his parents, because, as he's said, he's now in love with each remaining woman. Everyone has heard Peter's mom's tearful plea of "Bring her home to us!" and, since she'd met Madison during the couple's first one-on-one date, many assumed she was talking about our resident virgin. But, the first part of the finale (which airs tonight) will show that his mom is actually talking about Hannah Ann. Which will lead to even more confusion for Peter. Yay!

Apparently, when Chris Harrison drops his mysterious bombshell on Peter before the final rose ceremony, it's got nothing to do with Madison leaving, because Peter already knows that by then. Oh, no. He's about to tell Peter something along the lines of just finding out that Hannah Ann is also considering dumping Peter and heading for the hills, but, since they end up engaged she clearly decided to stick around.

But! It was not to be, because Peter and Hannah Ann have since broken up. Remember all of that mystery surrounding who Peter was apologizing to at that random house in California? Well, that's our 2020 Bachelor talking to Hannah Ann and apologizing for proposing to her, only to break up with her so that he could try to pursue Madison again. So, Peter and Hannah Ann...1,000% not together and not getting back together at any point during the finale.

This means that Peter Weber is basically our new Arie Luyendyk Jr. Also yay! (No. Not really.) Now, here's where Reality Steve, and honestly everyone else, is still in the dark. He last reported that Peter and Madison are currently dating, but their relationship status might be more complicated than that, with it not being quite that solid (he did get engaged to someone else after sexing up some ladies even though Madison had asked him not to), but also not totally a thing that has lost all will to live. We can only hope that they shed some light on where things stand with them during the live After the Final Rose portion of the finale.

We can all see how this whole messy bit of Bachelor business turns out when Peter's 2020 season of The Bachelor finally reaches it's pinnacle, beginning tonight at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, and wrapping up tomorrow, Tuesday March 10, also at 8 p.m. EST.

Last year, Bachelor Colton Underwood's finale was spoiled by gym photos. This year, Bachelor Peter Weber's 2020 ending may have been spoiled by Justin Bieber. But we'll see. The Bachelor Season 24 has been a glorious mystery right up until the end. That end is coming in the two-night finale, tomorrow (Monday, March 9, 2020) and Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. ET.

It's possible a casual note Justin Bieber just slipped into an interview on Ellen confirmed the most recent spoilers about how Bachelor Peter's season ended.

We've known Peter's final two of Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss since mid-November 2019, when Reality Steve revealed those names and warned Peter did not have a "normal ending" with a proposal at the final rose ceremony. That's as far as Steve got for spoiler confirmation until this past Thursday, March 5.

Just this past week, Reality Steve was confident enough in his spoilers to say Peter and Madison are currently dating but not engaged, adding that Peter might propose live on the "After the Final Rose" episode. That's after Madison quits right before the final rose ceremony, leading Peter to cancel the whole thing but not dump Hannah Ann. He keeps Hannah Ann basically on hold until he can talk to Madison, who had already flown home to the U.S. after quitting in Australia. Long story short, Peter reportedly wins Madison over and they are together now, so Peter dumps Hannah Ann -- and that's probably the scene where he tells someone "I'm so sorry" he never envisioned this.

Those were The Bachelor 2020 spoilers Reality Steve shared on March 5, but then his report was quickly followed by the note that he'd heard conflicting information from other sources. He said he'd update with the latest from what he'd heard on Monday, aka tomorrow, aka the first night of the finale. (Update: It still sounds like Peter might be with Madison, but it's shaky. Also, Peter did propose to Hannah Ann in the finale?! Sheesh.)

It's been suspected for a while that Peter and Madison were together but not engaged, and that's what Steve had been hearing but only just "confirmed" it with a source. Madison's father was even thought to maybe have accidentally confirmed the ending himself. And now we have Justin Bieber.

Justin Bieber was on Ellen talking to guest host Demi Lovato about his new album and his marriage. They talked a bit about The Bachelor, and that's when Bieber dropped this little line about himself and wife Hailey:

Demi Lovato goes to the same Hillsong Church and she said she couldn't believe Justin Bieber didn't tell her that Bachelor Pete was at their church.

It was a quick note that may not mean much out of context, but it may be a hint that Peter did indeed pick Madison. You'll recall Bachelor Pete and Madi had a conversation about faith, and how her faith is extremely important to her. It very much informed their dramatic sex talk on overnight dates week. Whereas faith was something Peter was interested in exploring further. He admitted to Madison he was raised Christian but felt like his faith could be stronger. He seemed inspired by Madi to follow that path.

So if Peter was spotted in church, is that a sign that he's with Madison or just becoming more involved in church in his own life, separate from Madison? He could still be with Hannah Ann and go to a church attended by a lot of other famous names.

But it does feel like maybe another clue on a trail where so many clues seem to be leading to Madison. Hopefully this is not a false trail.

We know Madison did film something fairly recently with Bachelor producers, so we still need to see that footage. That was filmed in her home state of Alabama, as opposed to the Peter apology clip that was filmed in Los Angeles.

The Bachelor's first night should be interesting but Tuesday's March 10, 2020 live "After the Final Rose" episode is the one to really watch. That should be packed with updates -- live and pre-taped -- plus Bachelorette Clare Crawley possibly meeting some of her early bachelors before filming starts at the end of the week.

The Bachelor 2020 lead Peter Weber is about to end his journey to a million tears on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10, and spoilers suggest his Season 24 finale has one of the most dramatic endings ever. Bachelorette Jen Schefft, Season 3, 2005

Let's go in chronological order, starting with one of the very first finale shockers. Bachelorette Jen pulled a half-Womack, two years before Brad Womack's infamous season. On her three-hour finale, the pre-taped portion showed her reject John Paul Merritt and pick Jerry Ferris. However, she did not accept Jerry's proposal. She told him to hold on to the ring and give it back to her if he still felt the same way down the road. He said he wasn't going anywhere.

But that same night, the live Bachelorette "After the Final Rose" special showed the results of their relationship. Rumors had already suggested the relationship had soured in the months after filming. Sure enough, on the ATFR, Jerry asked what he should do with the ring, and Jen dumped him -- or basically admitted they had decided in the break that they were better off as friends. So she ended the show single and the finale was very disappointing to fans. She probably would've liked to have not picked anyone -- a full Womack -- but considering the negativity to her finale and the HUGE outcry against Womack, I can't blame her for trying to have a softer landing.

Bachelor Charlie O’Connell, Season 7, 2005

If you ever wonder why The Bachelor doesn't just let the lead date his two finalists in the real world and make a decision live on the "After the Final Rose" episode, well, they already did that once. It was Bachelor Charlie's season. He couldn't decide between Sarah Brice and Krisily Kennedy so the show gave him more time. The finale made a big deal about showing him dating both women in the real world before making his decision live. In that live decision, he dumped Krisily and gave Sarah "a promise ring" to try it out in the real world.

Charlie and Sarah did work in the real world for a while, but broke up for the first time in 2007 and then reunited and broke up again in 2010. But considering everything Charlie was dealing with in his personal life (he's been open about his struggles with alcohol) I do think this real-world experiment was successful and they should do it again -- especially since Bachelors have become notoriously bad at choosing between their finalists. This is never really a problem for the Bachelorettes, so get your shit together, boys!

Bachelor Brad Womack, Season 11, 2007

Oh boy. Today, Brad's choice to pick himself in the end is applauded. It makes perfect sense to just be honest and leave on your own if you're not feeling it. But that's hindsight. There's no way to overstate the shock and fury when he did it in 2007. Because he didn't sit down with finalists Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas and share how he was feeling. He had a traditional final rose ceremony set-up, so when he dumped Jenni and DeAnna showed up at the end -- and Brad told her he just sent Jenni home -- everyone, including DeAnna, fairly assumed Brad was about to propose. Instead, he took a brief walk around in a circle and told DeAnna he couldn't tell her he loved her, he had to tell her goodbye.

No one saw it coming, and it felt like the entire season was a waste of time. Even Ellen DeGeneres called Brad Womack a "jerk" and apologized later when ABC gave Bachelor Brad a second chance at love (which was also wasted, in a different way, when it was clear he and Emily Maynard were not a practical match). DeAnna became America's sweetheart and got her own chance for (brief) love on The Bachelorette, and Brad was declared The Most Hated Bachelor Of All Time ... for two years.

Bachelor Jason Mesnick, Season 13, 2009

Brad Womack should send Jason Mesnick a thank you card every year for so quickly dethroning him as The Most Hated Bachelor. Single dad Jason was an absolute sweetheart, and that's part of why his decision was so shocking. This was the first season Reality Steve ever had an ending spoiler to, and it's no wonder people didn't believe him at first. Jason picks Melissa, proposes, and then dumps her for his runner-up Molly. Really? Jason?! But that's exactly what he did.

The painfully awkward two-night "After the Final Rose" specials had monster ratings, with fans gaping through the car crash as Melissa called out "bastard" Jason for what he did to her, followed by Jason awkwardly asking out Molly right there on TV. I've still never seen anything like it. (Re-watch it on Netflix, since it's the only season on the streamer.) The silver lining is that Jason and Molly are still together today, with a child of their own, and Bachelor Jason's decision made it easier for Bachelor Arie to pull a similar move almost a decade later.

Bachelorette Jillian Harris, Season 5, 2009

I loved Jilly's season, and so many of the bachelors on it. Ed Swiderski actually quit her season at one point, then returned before the ending. However, the guy I most wanted Bachelorette Jillian to be with -- Reid Rosenthal -- was eliminated at Final 3 ... then returned on final rose ceremony day for another chance! He told Jillian he loved her and proposed to her right there in the end. Sadly, she rejected him. She also rejected Kiptyn Locke, but I was less torn up about that.

Ultimately, Jillian accepted Ed's proposal and they were together for a little while. But Reid's return is part of why I always wonder/hope if my favorite will return again in the end for a last minute proposal. It's also part of why I wondered if Hannah Brown would pull the same move on Bachelor Peter Weber's finale, but that theory was shot down.

Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis, Season 18, 2014

Juan Pablo was eliminated back in Week 6 on Bachelorette Desiree Harsock's season. We didn't really get to know him, but the former pro soccer player still became a fan favorite from his brief scenes. So The Bachelor took a risk on the relative unknown -- and boy was that a mistake. Juan Pablo is the human definition of problematic -- on screen, off screen, everywhere -- and it culminated in our new 2020 Bachelorette telling him off at the final rose ceremony. More on that over here, but he had it coming.

I'm still surprised Clare waited as long as she did to tell him off, considering the rude thing he said to her during the finale episode on their helicopter ride. She waited until it was clear he was picking Nikki, then pushed him away when he wanted to hug her, then told him she thought she knew the kind of man he was. She was disgusted with how he treated her. She would never want children with a man like him. Take note, The Bachelorette 2020 contestants!

Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr., Season 22, 2018

Since Jason Mesnick had already pulled the move of dumping your fiancée for the runner-up, Bachelor Arie's season felt compelled to up the ante by truly terrorizing "winner" Becca Kufrin. Not only did Arie dump Becca for Lauren Burnham, ABC cameras taped him doing so in the Bachelor safe house, and then Arie and the cameras stalked Becca through the house as she cried and tried to get some effing space to breathe.

To me, that was the worst part of the whole thing -- trying to milk Becca's pain for every last drop. At least Bachelor Jason first dumped Melissa off-camera before their awkward "After the Final Rose" special talk. But, once again, the silver lining is that Arie and Lauren are still together, married with a daughter. There's just something in the water when it comes to Bachelors and their runners-up. (Fun fact: 2006 Bachelor Lorenzo Borghese also dated his runner-up; he didn't have a dramatic finale, but after he and Jennifer Wilson broke up, Lorenzo dated runner-up Sadie Murray for a little while.)

Bachelor Colton Underwood, Season 23, 2019

The fence jump! Actually, the fence jump happened during the fantasy suites episode, not the finale, but the finale picked up from what happened. Bachelor Colton jumped the fence in Portugal in frustration for his Chosen One, Cassie Randolph, quitting the show. So he had no final rose ceremony at all, telling his other finalists Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin that he was letting them go because he wanted to be with Cassie and Cassie quit.

So the finale episode ended with Colton single. Then, on the "After the Final Rose" episode, we saw Colton approach Cassie for a second chance, in more pre-taped footage. They ended the show as a couple, not engaged but dating, and they are currently still dating now.

Bachelorette Hannah Brown, Season 15, 2019

At the start of Bachelorette Hannah's season, spoilers pointed to Hannah picking Tyler Cameron in the end. Then the spoilers changed to Jed Wyatt, and a ton of bad info came out about Jed. Hannah's finale didn't even show her picking anyone yet. The "After the Final Rose" started with Hannah feeling sick about her finale decision, then dumping Tyler and accepting Jed's proposal. Any other season, that would've been a happy ending. But by then, viewers already knew what Hannah B. did NOT know during the final rose ceremony -- that Wrong Reasons Jed already had a girlfriend back home waiting for him to come back and maximize his TV exposure for his music career.

The facts about Jed came out via news reports while The Bachelorette 2019 was airing, and that's how Hannah learned about the extent of Jed's relationship with his "ex." That led to Hannah Beast confronting Jed during a safe house talk, pre-taped by ABC cameras. She dumped him, and then later on the live portion of the "After the Final Rose" special, she asked out runner-up Tyler C. That didn't seem to go anywhere, but after that, Hannah was everywhere. She won Dancing With the Stars 2019 and even showed up twice on Bachelor Peter Weber's season, feeding the theory that maybe he ended up with her in the end of his own season. Nope!

Bachelor Peter Weber, Season 24, 2020

Bachelor Peter bragged that his season's ending would not be spoiled, and he was mostly right. We knew his final two, Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss, from back in November 2019 when the finale was taped. But we were told Peter did not have a "normal ending" and that the finale changed right up until the last second. Chris Harrison said even Peter wasn't sure how the season would end when it came to the live "After the Final Rose" special, that's how much everything was in flux. Reality Steve's spoilers came piece by piece, including the note that Madison quit in the final week.

Reality Steve heard conflicting information about the finale right up until this week. On March 5, he posted what he heard from a trusted source, but then heard from someone else that it's not quite right. However, what he posted on March 5 was that Peter and Madison are currently together but not engaged. It's possible Peter will propose at the live "After the Final Rose" special, so that's where the idea that Peter may not know the ending himself comes in. This ending is also convoluted and seems to grab from several past endings, from Charlie dating both women in the real world to Colton losing his Chosen One when she leaves to maybe even a full Jason/Arie move.

Several other seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette were controversial for other reasons, but most of the time the finale itself is a happy occasion. Man, I can't wait to get back to those days. I'm ready for a drama break!

Just when I thought I was out of The Bachelor 2020 spoilers mystery ... they pull me back in! It sounds like we're going to get still another spoilers update on how Bachelor Peter Weber's season ends on Monday's March 9, 2020 season finale day itself. (Update: It still sounds like Peter might be with Madison, but it's shaky. Also, Peter did propose to Hannah Ann in the finale?! Sheesh.)

On March 5, spoiler guru Reality Steve finally updated with how Bachelor Peter Weber's season ended with Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss. Or so we all thought, including Steve. Shortly after posting confirmation on the finale -- for the first time since the season finale was taped back in mid-November 2019 in Australia -- Steve tweeted that he'd heard conflicting information from other sources contradicting what he had just told readers.

So no Victoria F. or Kelley pregnancy or any other wild rumor. It's still down to Bachelor Peter, Madison, and Hannah Ann. Shortly after that, Reality Steve shared a little Bachelorette Clare Crawley spoiler nugget along with a tease of what fans REALLY want to know at this point:

So Monday. That's the first day of The Bachelor Season 24's two-night March 9-10, 2020 season finale. I wonder how much Reality Steve's spoilers will change at that point. If different sources are saying different things, the ending won't really be clear until the show airs that night and Tuesday for the live "After the Final Rose" special.

Part of why Chris Harrison said even Bachelor Peter Weber doesn't know his season ends was reportedly because Peter was thinking of proposing to Madison on the live "After the Final Rose" special. That's one of the things Reality Steve noted in his March 5 post. His source for that report said Madison quit the show just before the final rose ceremony -- something Steve had said before.

Bachelor Peter reportedly cancels the final rose ceremony (which would make two Bachelor finales in a row with no final rose ceremony) but doesn't dump Hannah Ann. He says some version of not wanting to pick Hannah Ann just because Madison quit, so he wanted to talk to Madison before making a final decision. Madison was already back in the U.S. at that point, so everyone went home and Peter slowly won back Madison and her family. Then he dumped Hannah Ann, and she's reportedly the one he's apologizing to in that promo clip where he tells someone from the bottom of his heart he's sorry, he never envisioned this.

According to that report, Bachelor Peter and Madison are currently dating but not engaged. That's what Reality Steve has been saying for a while now, he just confirmed it with details on Thursday, and then heard from whoever else about it not being quite right. So someone out there is either mistaken or putting out false leads to keep this ending a secret. It's very cloak and dagger and, frankly, much more interesting than The Bachelor season we've seen on ABC so far this year.

So now we wait until Monday, not just for the latest spoilers updates but also to see how ABC will present the first night of the two-night Bachelor 2020 finale. We'll certainly see the whole "Bring Her Home" speech from Peter's mom Barbara and Chris Harrison's update at the final rose ceremony. Then Peter will do whatever he does to not have a "normal ending," which is what we've been told for months now. No engagement. Not then, anyway.

Will Peter propose on Tuesday's live "After the Final Rose" episode -- which will also include some pre-taped footage, including whatever Madison was filming in Alabama with Bachelor producers not too long ago, plus that scene where Peter apologizes to one of the women in one of The Bachelor's "safe houses" in L.A.?

This mess had better have a strong ending or I will feel duped on every front. I do think Peter and Madison are together, and not just because Justin Bieber recently saw Peter at his own church -- and faith has been tied to Madison's story for the past few weeks.

Whatever happens, Bachelorette Clare Crawley will reportedly start filming her season on Friday, March 13, but she may first meet a few of her bachelors on the live ATFR episode, since that has become tradition. But we'll see. They are still apparently changing the casting of her guys at the last minute.

What on earth is going to happen when The Bachelor finale actually airs? It has been a season of epic proportions, and the rough ride is not over yet. Spoilers have previously revealed that Peter Weber’s ending will not be “normal,” but is he somehow going to end up with Victoria F.? Here is what the rumor mill is churning out.

Fans have been told that The Bachelor finale will come down to a battle between Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett, and that Madison will “self-eliminate” before the final rose ceremony. Thus, Chris Harrison has been promising a finale that is “unlike any” The Bachelor has ever had before. So does that mean Victoria F. is set to shake things up?

On Instagram, Victoria F. posted quite the tribute to Peter, crediting him with a bevy of things. (You can check out the full post below.) Perhaps more important to note, though, is that Peter was one of the 2,300+ who responded to the post, using the emoji that is officially known as the “high five” or “prayer hands.” Here is what Victoria F. posted:

It is important to remember that Instagram had previously been home to heated rumors about Peter choosing Madison based on the social media activity of Madison’s dad. (What a time to be alive.)

In related news, not even the show's usually dependable source of all things spoilery is 100% sure about how The Bachelor finale will go down. Yesterday, Reality Steve reported that Peter and Madison are together and not engaged, as Peter was thought to be waiting to pop the question during the live show. However, Reality Steve followed that up later by saying he's being "told so many different things now,” and that his original sources (who are sticking to their story) are at odds with his new source. There you have it...maybe? Peter apparently won't hook up with that producer from The Bachelor as had been speculated earlier, and Hannah Brown is not part of the equation. Neither is the previously eliminated Kelley Flanagan, whom Peter suggested should be the next Bachelorette. The latest reports did not categorically rule out Peter ending up with Victoria F. in some way, beyond his 2020 finale of The Bachelor, but the implication that something is amiss could account for that.

If the finale is, indeed, only between Hannah Ann and Madison, that indicates that Victoria F. is out of The Bachelor equation. Peter confirmed that there was more to his and Victoria F.’s hometown conversation surrounding those allegations about her breaking up relationships, and Victoria F. has vehemently denied the claims levied by Peter’s ex, Merissa Pence, on the Women Tell All special.

Spoilers for The Bachelor finale have been hard to come by, thus making the wait for it all the more exciting! The next season of The Bachelorette is already in the works. Clare Crawley is set to be the next Bachelorette. As for Peter, fans are closer than ever to finding out who Pilot Pete ends up with – Madison or Hannah Ann.

Calling Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor a roller coaster would be an understatement. But, even with all the on screen back-stabbing, tattle-telling, arguments, crying and confusion, it turns out that there's been something going on during all of Season 24 that most of Bachelor Nation hasn't been aware of: bullying. During Monday night's Women Tell All special, many of Peter's former girlfriends took time out of their bickering and personal conflicts to address the issue. And Sydney Hightower, for one, wants justice for those affected.

The Women Tell All special gave fans insight into many of the things we've been seeing on screen all season during Peter's time as The Bachelor, with discussions about Kelsey's emotional state, Tammy's unfair judgements, Victoria F.'s possible cheating and many other things coming under the microscope.

But it wasn't until the episode was nearly over that the cast and host Chris Harrison were joined by former Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay, that things took an even more serious turn. Rachel led a discussion that put a spotlight on how the women of Season 24 have been harassed online, with part of the focus being on the racially charged nature of much of bullying.

Contestant Sydney Hightower, who was eliminated during week six of The Bachelor, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter after the WTA to talk about why the segment, which she said came about after she reached out to Rachel Lindsay about the online hate over her race, was important:

When Chris Harrison asked the women how many of them had been victims of online harassment, they all raised their hands, and each of the African American women (including Lindasy, who starred on The Bachelorette in 2017) agreed that the focus of the bullying they receive is usually based on their race, skin color and even their hair. You can take a look at the WTA segment below, but be aware that some of the language used in these online missives might be troubling to some:

Like the rest of the contestants, Sydney Hightower was probably prepared for some amount of online hate once Season 24 began to air, but it sounds like she was unprepared for how bad the bullying would get, especially with regards to her race, something she obviously can't (and likely wouldn't want to) change. But, just as we should all do in any situation when things become a bit too much for us to handle, she was able to reach out to someone who'd been through similar harassment to figure out how to deal with it.

As you can see from the clip, many of the audience members were shocked by some of the messages that have been directed at this season's contestants, which proves that Sydney was correct in thinking that the issue needed to be addressed publicly so that everyone could see what it really means to bully and lash out at someone with hate because of their race.

I wish that Sydney Hightower, Rachel Lindsay and, honestly, all the women who've been subjected to this kind of harassement could get true justice. But, as we know, the reason so many people feel comfortable sending messages like this is because they can hide in the vastness of the internet, and there simply aren't enough resources to track every one of them down and make them face legal action of some kind.

We might all just have to hope that getting called out on The Bachelor Women Tell All will be enough to stop at least some of these people from doing the same to women who will sign up for the franchise in the future. Clare Crawley, for instance (who's getting ready for her turn as The Bachelorette to begin later this month) has already received some hate over the fact that, at 39, she'll be the oldest Bachelorette in franchise history. Here's hoping, truly, that the spotlight on bullying will shut some of the unnecessary hate down in the months to come.

The Bachelor will wrap up next Monday and Tuesday with Peter Weber's unpredictable ending airing at 8 p.m. EST on ABC both nights. That will be followed on April 13 by the new musical spinoff The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart, and Clare Crawley's Season 16 stint as The Bachelorette sometime in May. One of the best parts about either The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, even for those who appear on the show, is getting to explore parts of the world that we might not otherwise be able to. While there are always several dates that happen around the United States on the shows, one of the most exciting aspects is watching the cast adventure around the world as they try to fall in love. They get to frolic in exotic waterfalls, picnic on mountaintops and hang out with wild animals we don't have here. But, it sounds like the threat of the coronavirus is changing that for Clare Crawley's 2020 season of The Bachelorette.

Fans will know that significant parts of each season of The Bachelorette and The Bachelor are typically filmed in far flung locations, but a special challenge has come up for the producers as they try to schedule travel and filming for Season 16 of The Bachelorette, starring the newly announced lead, Clare Crawley. The growing threat of the coronavirus has led the production to cancel its planned trip to Italy this year.

The Bachelorette is produced by Warner Horizon Unscripted Television, and a spokesperson for Warner Bros. issued a statement to Variety about how the company is trying to protect its productions:

This is a scary time for a lot of people. With the coronavirus beginning to make its way around the world, folks are doing everything possible to try and stop the spread, as well as treat people who've been infected and try to get them healthy again. The last thing any employer would want is to unnecessarily put its employees at risk of contracting the virus, so Warner Bros. is doing the right thing here by considering all of the locations The Bachelorette had planned to film in and determining whether or not it's still a safe bet.

As the statement noted, the best way to do this without completely changing a huge part of what fans expect to see on The Bachelorette is to evaluate countries on a "case-by-case basis" and use information from the many organizations which are working to monitor, treat and stop the spread of the coronavirus.

We all want Clare Crawley, her suitors and the rest of The Bachelorette production to be safe this year while they film Season 16, and the good news is that all international travel hasn't been scrapped for the show just yet, so production is still moving forward as planned, for the most part.

Speaking of Clare Crawley and her suitors, it seems like we're going to be in for a real treat this season, with Clare being the oldest Bachelorette who's ever led the show. While some people have been, frankly, pretty mean about the fact that she'll be 39 when she starts filming later this month, many are very excited to watch some grown folks look for their forever love on The Bachelorette. But, because Clare is way older than the typical 23-year-olds seen in the franchise, it has led to an interesting wrinkle for the production.

Bachelor Nation spoiler king Reality Steve reported recently that quite a few of the men who'd already been cast for Clare's season have now been rejected, namely a couple of 25-year-olds, because they're too young. Part of the issue was that Clare wasn't confirmed to lead The Bachelorette until a couple of days before she was unveiled on Good Morning America this Monday, so, clearly, there were much younger women like Hannah Brown (who wanted more money), and ladies from Peter Weber's current Bachelor season like Kelley Flanagan and Kelsey Weier, who were in consideration.

If you watched The Bachelor Women Tell All special last night, and paid attention to the commercials, you probably noticed that they are still looking to replace those younger men and cast the rest of Clare's season with appropriate suitors. But, spoilers are telling us that the producers have already snatched up 12 men over 25, with the oldest currently being 40. Plus, four of the men already cast have children, so it seems like they're on the right track to give (most) fans the more mature season of The Bachelorette that we deserve and have been asking for since Hannah B. let Luke P. stick around through fantasty suites.

Hopefully, and for several reasons, the coronavirus will be under control soon and The Bachelorette will be able to film safely in some international locations. Clare Crawley's season will begin shooting later this month, and will debut sometime in May, after the new musical franchise show The Bachelor: Listen To Your Heart wraps up. Meanwhile, you can watch how Peter's messy-as-hell love search ends when The Bachelor airs next Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

One of The Bachelor’s dramatic moments in Season 24 involved Peter Weber and Victoria Fuller, when they had a conversation during hometowns after Peter’s ex made some shocking claims. It turns out that viewers did not see everything, though. The Bachelor edited out some stuff from their talk.

First, a recap. Peter had run into his ex, Merissa Pence, during the hometowns episode of The Bachelor. She made some intense claims to Peter when Victoria was still vying for his heart. Merissa claimed “there’s been many relationships broken up” due to Victoria and he confronted his new love over his ex’s allegations. And, an argument ensued between them after she denied the claims.

It turns out that there was more to Peter and Victoria's argument than The Bachelor let on. At the Women Tell All taping, Peter told ET that they had a more in-depth discussion, but it “unfortunately, wasn’t able to air.” What did this edited-out talk entail? Peter continued, saying:

According to Peter, his relationship with Merissa (the one who accused Victoria of being a relationship-breaker) was not very serious. However, his relationship with Victoria was. If I am reading correctly, that strength apparently made her side of the story carry more weight with Peter than Merissa’s. So, when it came time to decide on The Bachelor, Peter gave Victoria a rose and the chance to stay.

Hannah Ann Sluss expressed her support for Victoria amid the hometown dates drama. In the end, Hannah Ann and Madison Prewett ended up making it to Peter’s final two, while Victoria made it to Peter’s last three, but no further. This sets up a still-mysterious finale that has fans' curiosity incredibly piqued.

For her part, Victoria has sounded off on the allegations that Peter’s ex made about her breaking up relationships. During The Bachelor’s Women Tell All special, she confronted the claims, calling them “extremely frustrating.” Her take was that Peter’s ex did not like her and may have just “wanted to come on the show.”

Whatever Victoria told Peter, he clearly believed her enough to keep her as a contender for a while long, but ultimately chose to part ways with her, leaving Madison and Hannah Ann as the two women vying for the final rose. There have been a lot of spoilers, but the ending of Season 24 remains a giant question mark.

Madison’s dad may have accidentally spoiled what happens, but it does not include Victoria somehow reuniting with Peter. Of course, the finale supposedly changes “until the very last second,” so stay tuned. The excitement is far from over where The Bachelor is concerned in 2020.

Who does Peter Weber end up with -- Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, or just himself and his wonderfully emotional mom Barbara? Those are the million dollar questions, and we finally have some answers ... we think. It's fun! So let's get into everything we know, everything we think, and everything we're still confused about. There's a lot, so be sure to at least skim to the end.

Bachelor Peter Weber Did Not Have A 'Normal Ending'

The Bachelor 2020 finale might not be a complete waste of our time thanks to this relatively unspoiled finale. Bachelor Peter Weber has been teasing for months that his ending won't be spoiled, noting there were mysterious reasons for him to think that. Spoiler guru Reality Steve said he's pretty sure he's heard the correct ending to this season ... but he's heard so many different versions of the ending that even he won't know for sure until Monday night or -- more likely -- the Tuesday "After the Final Rose" episode to know which ending was correct. However, on March 5, 2020, he finally spelled out how he believes Peter's season ends and where things stand now. But it's complicated. And then he changed major details on finale day Monday, March 9.

All we knew from the final rose ceremony that was filmed in mid-November 2019 to early March 2020 was that Bachelor Peter Weber did not have a "normal ending." He didn't just pick one of his final two, Madison or Hannah Ann, and get engaged that day. Or so we were told. However, on March 9, Reality Steve updated that Peter DID propose to Hannah Ann on finale day, he just didn't stay engaged to her. He reportedly pulled another Jason/Arie move.

It reminds me of the early days (pulls rocking chair forward) before Jason Mesnick's season, the first Bachelor Nation finale ever to be spoiled. But you didn't come here for my babbling (unless my mom is reading this and she did!) so let's get straight into what we know.

When Do The Bachelor 2020 Finale And 'After The Final Rose' Episodes Air?

Peter Weber's The Bachelor Season 24 finale airs Monday, March 9 from 8 to 10 p.m. I fully expect some kind of cliffhanger, either on the show itself or through a promo for the next night's "After the Final Rose" special. That airs Tuesday, March 10 from 8 to 10:01 p.m. ET on ABC.

The "After the Final Rose" special should be at least partly live, with Chris Harrison in front of an audience. We should also see some pre-taped footage, though, like last year when ABC taped Hannah Brown dumping Jed Wyatt before she sat down with Chris Harrison to talk more about it. Signs have pointed to everything continuing right up to the end for Peter Weber, including the live ATFR episode and then it's possible Peter may actually propose to Madison during the live show -- unless he feels like it's going to be a no and then maybe he'll skip that idea. And it's also possible the spoilers may be wrong. New Bachelorette 2020 Clare Crawley may also meet a few of her first bachelors right there on the live "After the Final Rose" special too, we'll see.

Peter's Mom Makes Her 'Bring Her Home' Speech About Hannah Ann

On March 9, Reality Steve said Bachelor Peter's mom is talking about Hannah Ann with her "bring her home to us" speech, which is a bit of a surprise. Apparently the family is more pro-Hannah Ann but Peter's heart was pulling him toward Madison.

Madison Quits Shortly Before The Final Rose Ceremony

Madison sticks around long enough to meet Bachelor Peter's parents again. Remember, she already met them during the first one-on-one date of the season. But she meets them again, and then quits. Reality Steve said he thinks she quits on the final rose ceremony day itself. Steve later confirmed that Madison does not show up for the final rose ceremony, and so Peter cancels it.

Peter Proposes To Hannah Ann, Then Dumps Her For Madison?

Phew! Reality Steve posted a bunch of spoilers on Bachelor Peter's ending on March 5, and then updated on Twitter that he heard something different from another source. Initially, Steve posted that The Bachelor 2020 ends without Peter picking anyone after Madison quits. However, Peter reportedly doesn't dump Hannah Ann, he says he won't be able to make a decision in good conscience until he talks to Madison and gets closure there or something. So he spends some time in Alabama trying to win back Madison and her family. It reportedly wasn't easy, but eventually Peter realized he wanted to make it work with Madison -- and she seems to want to be with him. And so THEN he lets Hannah Ann know it's over. But the updated March 9 spoilers said Peter actually proposed to Hannah Ann in Australia on final rose ceremony day, and later he dumped her for Madison. That sounds like what we've seen before from Jason and Arie, though.

Chris Harrison's Finale News Is Reportedly About Hannah Ann

The very first scene The Bachelor 2020 showed was a flash-forward to the final rose ceremony, with Chris Harrison showing up to tell Peter something, something they all just found out. Peter replied with "What?" and said he felt like he was going to pass out. Reality Steve initially said that was not about Madison, and he updated on March 9 that it was really about Hannah Ann considering leaving at the final rose ceremony too. She doesn't, though.

Bachelor Peter Tells Hannah Ann He's Sorry From The Bottom Of His Heart In L.A.

The Bachelor 2020 only recently added an extra scene to the finale teases we've seen all season. This promo shot shows Bachelor Peter visit someone to say he's sorry from the bottom of his heart, he never envisioned this. Bachelor sleuths deduced that speech took place at a house in Los Angeles. So that is something we will see after the finale, which was taped in Australia in November 2019. On March 9, Reality Steve said that was Peter apologizing to Hannah Ann since he was dumping her for Madison.

Madison Filmed Something With Bachelor Producers Just Recently

There are no spoilers about what exactly she filmed, but Madison Prewett was seen with the Bachelor crew back in early February in Alabama. At the time, we were told it was NOT for The Bachelorette. We know that's true now, since Clare Crawley was revealed to be the 2020 Bachelorette. So it sounds like that was part of filming for Peter's wooing of Madison and her family to try and get back in their good graces in the real world.

Bachelor Peter Said Things Change Right Up To The Last Second

Bachelor Peter said The Bachelor worked almost TOO well for him and he fell in love with two women. He said things changed right up to the last second in his final week, which was the craziest week of his life. Obviously things kept changing if he apologized to someone from the bottom of his heart in L.A. some time after filming ended in Australia. Chris Harrison recently said so much happens in that final week, it's like the season is only just starting now at the end. He said there's a lot more that happens on so many levels. ABC executive Robert Mills also warned that the "roller coaster" wouldn't really end until the "After the Final Rose" special. That may be because a proposal is coming live, but we'll have to see...

Not Even Peter Knows The Ending?

During the "Women Tell All" episode, Chris Harrison said the finale is so unexpected, no one knows how it will end. After Reality Steve's most recent spoilers, it sounds like maybe Peter isn't sure how things will end because he has a proposal planned for the live "After the Final Rose" special and he's not sure how it will go. Then again, the spoilers may be wrong so it's still a mystery.

Jimmy Kimmel Predicted Peter Picked Hannah Ann, Tiffany Haddish Said Madison

Right at the start of every season, Jimmy Kimmel "predicts" the winner and it usually matches spoilers. Last year, though, he was the first one to "predict" Bachelorette Hannah Brown picked Jed Wyatt when Reality Steve's spoilers at the time were still incorrectly pointing to Hannah picking Tyler Cameron. This year, Kimmel "predicted" Peter would pick Hannah Ann. Meanwhile, Kimmel's guest alongside Peter for that episode, Tiffany Haddish, read Peter's expression and thought he picked Madison. At the time the Kimmel episode was taped -- on January 7, 2020 -- maybe they were both a bit right and both a bit wrong?

Wild Bachelor Finale Fan Theories Pointed To A Producer And Pregnancy

Since The Bachelor 2020 was unspoiled for so long, fans came up with their own theories on what happened in the end. I was thinking maybe Chris Harrison showed up with some bad news about someone's family member and they had to leave for an emergency. Yes, I was stretching, but we've been told that what happened was heartbreaking and no one could see it coming. Madison quitting? Yeah, we could all see that coming, so maybe there's more. Some fans thought Hannah Brown might return in the end, but that was shot down. Victoria Fuller also does not return for still another chance. Since Bachelor Peter and his producer share photos together, there was that fun theory that they might be together, but that also got shot down. And then there's the theory that Peter got someone pregnant, and that threw all his plans out of whack. I love that crazy but probably not true theory.

Peter Is Reportedly NOT With Kelley Flanagan (Unfortunately)

One new theory stemming from The Bachelor 2020: "Women Tell All" was that Peter got Kelley Flanagan pregnant. She was the only woman from Peter's past few episodes to not be invited to the WTA. (Natasha said on Twitter she was invited but couldn't make it.) So theories spread that Peter got Kelley pregnant and they are together now, and that's the news Chris Harrison shares during the finale. Well, Reality Steve shot that theory down as crazy. It's apparently not what happens, but I still love it. Kelley, you were robbed of your rightful place in this story!

Peter Is Reportedly NOT With Hannah Ann

One note Reality Steve was confident to report is that "Hannah Ann is 100% not with Peter right now." That's what he wrote on March 3. That pretty much left Peter as being with Madison or just himself. Steve updated on March 5 by saying Peter and Madison were together, dating but not engaged, which is what he had been hearing for a while. But then he updated again that there was some "weirdness" and it sounds like the Hannah Ann door might not be completely closed on the spoiler front. On March 9, his spoilers said Peter actually proposed to Hannah Ann in the end but ultimately dumped her for Madison.

Reality Steve Finally Shared His Thoughts On What Happens ... Then Changed It

In his latest March 5 column, Reality Steve "confirmed" details on how Bachelor Peter Weber's finale played out, but then he updated with significant changes on March 9, aka the Monday of the two-night finale. According to the March 5 report, Madison quit before the final rose ceremony. Peter called off the final rose ceremony to talk to her. But she already flew back home to the U.S. from Australia. So everyone leaves for the States. Peter basically told Hannah Ann to know he was making the right decision and have a clear conscience he needed both Madison and Hannah Ann around. He didn't want Hannah Ann to feel like he picked her by default since Madison quit. He wanted to talk to Madison first. Back in the U.S., Steve said Peter had the tough job of trying to win over Madison's family, who were not overly supportive of The Bachelor situation. Madison didn't take him back right away. It got intense but apparently Madison and Peter are together now, and it's possible he'll propose live. However! On March 9, Steve changed some details, including that Peter DID propose to Hannah Ann on finale date back in mid-November 2019 but then dumped her later for Madison.

Reality Steve Also Heard A Random Rumor He Would Confirm If It Happens

On February 27, during his podcast, Reality Steve said he had just been told a wild ending rumor:

He said, if it turns out to be true, he'll tell us. But he didn't say it right then and there. He said he'd heard so many endings, he didn't want to pass them all along. "It's been a wacky season."

Hannah Ann Is Moving To L.A. After The Bachelor Finale

As we know, Bachelor Peter Weber lives in L.A., very close to the Bachelor mansion. Hannah Ann Sluss came to Bachelor Nation through fellow model and friend Hannah Godwin. Hannah G. was a finalist last year on Bachelor Colton Underwood's season and she got engaged to Dylan Barbour last summer on Bachelor in Paradise. Anyway, Hannah G. also lives in L.A. and she and Hannah Ann chatted on Instagram about living close to each other soon. Hannah Ann is reportedly moving to L.A. right after The Bachelor finale. She might just be there for more TV and modeling opportunities, although I fully expect her to be on Bachelor in Paradise too. It worked for Hannah G.!

Don't forget that Bachelorette Clare Crawley is meant to start filming her Season 16 on Friday, March 13, although she may meet some of her initial guys on Tuesday's live "After the Final Rose" episode. Casting is changing in real-time, with some bachelors already dumped for being too young. Her season will start airing in May, first we have The Bachelor's Listen to Your Heart spinoff, and Reality Steve already shared spoilers on how that ends. At least he knew that one early!

Well, it was really only a matter of time before this happened, wasn't it? While Season 24 star of The Bachelor, Peter Weber, is down to his final three ladies and still trying to figure out who might be about to become his bride-to-be, it looks like two of the women who got dumped by him earlier in the season have already found love...with each other.

Apparently, two of the also-rans from Peter Weber's currently airing season of The Bachelor, Jasmine Nguyen (a 25-year-old client relations manager from Houston) and Alexa Caves (a 27-year-old esthetician and small business owner from Chicago), seem to be dating one another now. And, if Jasmine's Instagram post is to be believed, this isn't a casual hang, but true love. Check it out:

Oooh. Well, they certainly look good together, don't they? Now, it hasn't been confirmed that the two are actually dating right now, as opposed to Jasmine's caption just being a play on words because of their time on The Bachelor and the love that most people have for good friends, and I can certainly seem some fans being dubious about the idea that Jasmine and Alexa are dating. That first photo looks kinda intimate, sure, but it's not exactly a booed up smoking gun. This could easily be a picture of two really close friends, right?

But, there's probably going to be less wiggle room with regards to a romance between Jasmine and Alexa when everyone scrolls over to the second photo in her Instagram post. Um...do you see the way Jasmine is eyeballing Alexa? That's a pure look of longing if ever I saw one, and Alexa looks pretty damn pleased, too. Jasmine and Alexa were both dumped by Peter Weber during week three of The Bachelor, but it looks like that may have been one of the best things to ever happen if it led them to find each other.

After Alexa left The Bachelor she opened up in a since deleted Instagram post (via People) about her "fluid" sexuality, noting that "the amount of people that ask me about my sexuality in my DM’s is crazy," and it had been happening since the first episode, with it being "by far the question I get asked the most." She answered fans' queries by saying:

If this love connection is real, it wouldn't be the first time two contestants found each other by appearing on the same season of the show. In 2016, two of the women from The Bachelor: Australia found love with each other after getting sent home, and in 2018 two women competing on The Bachelor: Vietnam dramatically quit during filming because they realized that they'd fallen in love with each other.

Of course, fans will remember that the 2019 edition of Bachelor in Paradise saw Bachelor Nation favorite Demi Burnett dump Derek Peth on the beach, after her non-franchise former love Kristian Haggerty was allowed to come on the show, and they continued their romance for the remainder of the season, getting engaged at the end. So, you can never really tell what kind of wonderful things appearing on the show and going through such an intriguing dating process will bring to people's lives.

Meanwhile, as I mentioned earlier, Peter Weber still has some stress ahead as he tries to figure out who his longtime love will be. The Women Tell All special airs tonight, and, according to spoilers from Reality Steve, it will show Peter finally (FINALLY) sending the maddening Victoria Fuller home after Madison Prewett actually does show up for the fantasy suite rose ceremony, and Peter gives roses to her and Hannah Ann Sluss. This, of course, means that all the drama to follow on the WTA will be able to feature everyone's least favorite of Peter's potential fiancées, the dreaded Victoria.

With the obvious exceptions of Madison and Hannah Ann, who will still be in contention by this point in the evening, two other important women won't be in attendance at the WTA: Kelley Flanagan and Natasha Parker. Natasha has already come out and revealed that she simply couldn't make the taping, while rumors are saying that Kelley (who some fans wanted to lead the 2020 round of The Bachelorette) wasn't even invited to appear on the show. Cold-blooded!

We're also hearing that, even though Madison did decide to show up for that rose ceremony, she will change her mind at some point before the finale and dump Peter, which will lead to his mom crying about him needing to "bring her home to us!" and see him (possibly) tracking her down at a rental home somewhere in the wilds of California. But, it's still up in the air as to whether or not that worked and Peter is with Madison now but not engaged, or if he's actually with Hannah Ann.

I have no idea how this season of The Bachelor is going to turn out. Maybe Peter's dating a producer from his season, or maybe he really did knock up one of the contestants he dumped. No matter how things turn out for him, though at least we know that Jasmine and Alexa are happy, and, in my book, that counts for a lot.

The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, and will wrap up next week. Finally! The Bachelorette is going to be the person I wanted. Before Clare Crawley starts filming The Bachelorette 2020, let's relive her finest moment from Juan Pablo Galavis' disastrous season of The Bachelor. Let's also revisit that raccoon edit on Bachelor in Paradise. Honestly, in hindsight, it's just astonishing Clare wasn't The Bachelorette before Season 16.

As spoilers already revealed, Clare Crawley, age 38, was announced as ABC's next Bachelorette on Monday, March 2, 2020 on Good Morning America. That's just hours before Peter Weber's The Bachelor "Women Tell All" episode, starting with the results of the overnight date cliffhanger with Madison Prewett.

According to spoiler guru Reality Steve, The Bachelorette Season 16 will start filming Friday, March 13, a few days after Bachelor Peter's mysterious 2020 finale airs March 9-10. So far, Steve has spoiled the ages of some of the men reportedly cast for Bachelorette Clare's season. They range from 23 to one guy who is 40. Most of the ages seem to be in the late 20s, but he doesn't have everyone yet. Hopefully they skew higher.

The Bachelorette 2020 will mark Clare's FIFTH season in Bachelor Nation -- The Bachelor, two brief appearances on Bachelor in Paradise, and then Bachelor: Winter Games. But since Clare's first appearance was back on The Bachelor Season 18 in 2014, some fans may not know her or may have forgotten some of what she did.

Bachelor Juan Pablo was a piece of work. At one point in the season, Clare and Juan Pablo hooked up and he later slut-shamed her for it, saying it was disrespectful to his daughter because he wanted her to be proud of him and they shouldn't have done that. They still hooked up again later and Clare made it to the final two. During the finale, they went on a helicopter ride and she turned to say something to him and he made a reply that was shocking and offensive to her. The conversation was later revealed to be along the lines of her asking him to just tell her he loved her, and he replied something to the effect of "I loved fucking you."

Clare was upset but stuck with Juan Pablo to the final rose ceremony, thinking he would at least tell her then that she was the one. Instead, he dumped her because he really wanted Nikki. After being dumped, Clare told off Juan Pablo right there at the final rose ceremony in a scene that ranked #13 on The Bachelor's 20 most amazing moments.

Tell him, Clare! Do you think Bachelor Peter Weber's final rose ceremony will be that dramatic? Actually, spoilers point to Peter not having a normal finale where he picks either Madison or Hannah Ann and dumps the other one. So as dramatic as Bachelor Juan Pablo's final rose ceremony moment was, it's probably going to pale against Peter's final rose ceremony, especially if Madison does quit right before the very end.

But, see? That's why I'm most excited for Clare Crawley as The Bachelorette. OK, she waited a bit too long to turn on Juan Pablo, but she gave him the benefit of the doubt up until the end. Then she let him have it. She was the same way on The Bachelor: Winter Games. She's not perfect and she's probably going to annoy some people at times, but she never lets a man interrupt her, she stands up for herself, she can be sassy, she's usually articulate, and she's very raw with her emotions.

You know who knows that well? That raccoon. I forgot about the raccoon for a hot minute, but it's just clever editing from the Bachelor in Paradise team. In one Paradise moment, Clare got emotional and was venting to someone off-camera, maybe a producer. But the editors spliced footage of a raccoon in the wild to make it look like she was confiding in a raccoon friend. It was genius:

I don't know if The Bachelorette 2020 will have any raccoons around, but Bachelorette Clare should continue the tradition of venting to animals via editing. There was a report that she might bring her dog, so maybe that'll happen.

Apparently Hannah Brown was The Bachleorette producers' first choice to return, after her own ill-fated 2019 season last year. But Reality Steve said they couldn't agree on money. The "Women Tell All' special airing Monday, March 2 is going to show Kelsey Weier in the hot seat with what's described as a Bachelorette audition, but I guess it didn't work. Other late-in-the-game contenders were reportedly past season bachelorettes like Tia Booth and Tayshia Adams.

I have no doubt many Bachelorette fans will not be happy with Clare as the choice, since there's always pushback at whoever is named. Heaven knows I did not want to watch Bachelor Peter Weber (and I currently feel very vindicated in that decision). I love Clare as the oldest bachelorette and just a warm personality who should bring a lot of humor, heart, and fire to the season. And maturity? I hope so. Please don't be whiny, Clare.

But, really, any season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette is about the contestants, so it'll be interesting to see who is cast for Clare's season. They do tend to cast all year round, so a lot of guys they picked will probably be locked in before even knowing it's Clare. I hope age talk doesn't dominate her season, but I feel like it's going to be like windmill sex for Peter and virginity for Colton.

Before we get to Bachelorette Clare, we need to be done with Bachelor Peter. Host Chris Harrison warned Peter's season is only just now getting started, even with only three episodes left. There's the "Women Tell All," with the overnight dates rose ceremony, then the two-night finale and live "After the Final Rose" special on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10. After The Bachelor 2020, there's some time until The Bachelorette stars. We'll have that new spinoff Listen To Your Heart and then The Bachelorette Sweet 16 should premiere in May on ABC.

If you're one of those people who records The Bachelor before watching on ABC, be sure to add some extra time on Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10 for Bachelor Peter Weber's two-night finale. I just don't want you to miss anything. 'Cause now that we're down to the end of The Bachelor 2020, it's FINALLY getting good, and things are going to change rapidly across those final four hours of TV.

First, we have Bachelor Peter Weber's "Women Tell All" episode this Monday -- here's everything that happens then -- including the result of that Does Madison Quit cliffhanger.

Then we have the two-night finale. Monday's March 9, 2020 episode should show everything that was pre-taped back in mid-November 2019 for Bachelor Peter's finale. That's when spoiler guru Reality Steve told fans 1) Peter's final two are Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss, and) Peter did not have a "normal ending" to dump one woman and pick the other/get engaged on the final rose ceremony day.

Bachelor Peter Weber initially said -- almost bragged -- that no one would be able to spoil his ending. He said there was a reason for that, leading many to believe he wasn't quite finished yet, that his job as the Bachelor was continuing after filming. An ABC exec seemed to fuel that fire, saying the roller coaster still wasn't over and wouldn't be over until after the "After the Final Rose" episode on Tuesday, March 10.

On that note, THR recently talked to Bachelor Peter Weber about the finale. He'd been teasing that it was wild and unpredictable, so is the ending still up in the air at this point? Here's his answer:

Before getting too deep into that, here's what he said right after that. THR noted that, if he ended up single at the end of the finale, it would be the second season in a row without a final rose ceremony -- after Cassie quit Bachelor Colton's season and he ended The Bachelor 2019 by leaving and tracking her down. Bachelor Peter was asked if he thinks the format of the show still works or it it needs some tweaking; here's his response:

Too well. I feel like there's a hint there. One thing that's interesting about The Bachelor 2020 is that Peter was right (for once) in that the ending has NOT been spoiled. Reality Steve still has only said he thinks Peter is currently dating but not engaged to Madison. But he also said he heard some other wild things about the ending and, if true, he'd just throw his hands up.

So there are definitely some potential surprises out there -- like maybe Bachelor Peter is now with Hannah Ann (who just revealed she's moving close to where Peter lives after The Bachelor finale), or maybe there IS another mystery to be solved.

There are some things we have already been told, whether true or not:

• Madison quits sometime in the final week, maybe even on final rose ceremony day itself. It's after she meets with Bachelor Peter's parents again, after first meeting them back on her first one-on-one date earlier in The Bachelor Season 24.

• Chris Harrison's update to Bachelor Peter in the final week is reportedly not about Madison quitting, but Reality Steve didn't know what it was referring to.

• Chris Harrison said he and Peter had several heart-to-heart talks in the final week. Chris also recently said so much happens in that final week, it's like the season is only just starting now. He said there's a lot more that's about to happen on so many levels.

• No one has confirmation on who Bachelor Peter's mom is talking about with her "bring her home to us" speech, but there's speculation that it's Madison, after she quits.

• That new scene in The Bachelor promo (watch below) where Peter visits someone to say he's so sorry -- from the bottom of his heart, he's so sorry, he never envisioned this -- that does not happen in Australia, where the overnight dates and final rose ceremony were held. That meeting was taped in Los Angeles. So it was sometime after filming.

• Madison was recently spotted filming something with The Bachelor team, and it was reportedly not for The Bachelorette 2020. So it's expected to be another pre-taped piece we'll see on the "After the Final Rose" episode. If we never see it, then I'd like to know what that was about.

• Jimmy Kimmel "predicted" Bachelor Peter picked Hannah Ann. Kimmel "predicts" the winner every year and it usually matches spoilers, although last year he was the first one to "predict" Bachelorette Hannah B. picked Jed when Reality Steve's spoilers were still incorrectly pointing to Hannah picking Tyler. Meanwhile, Kimmel's guest alongside Peter, Tiffany Haddish, read Peter's expression and thought he picked Madison.

Since no spoilers have been confirmed on how Peter Weber's ending plays out, fans have been speculating that he's with one of the show's producers, that he got one of the women pregnant, etc. There was a lot of chatter about Bachelorette Hannah Brown returning for Peter's finale, but she dropped the ax on that to say she's single. (She was reportedly ABC's top choice to be the Bachelorette again, but now I'm hoping Monday's big GMA announcement is for Clare Crawley.)

What if Madison quits and Peter ends The Bachelor alone, then reconnects off the show with Madison or Hannah Ann? And what if he then dumps one for the other, or someone else, and that's the glimpse we're seeing in that Los Angeles apology scene? Maybe he tried to make it work with Hannah Ann off the show, then if Madison thawed to him he dumped Hannah Ann for Madi? I just made that up, so don't go anywhere with it, but I'm looking for things that would change back and forth on the show and in real-time for the two-night finale.

Whatever happens on Monday, March 9, don't get too attached to however the episode ends around 10 p.m. ET, because Bachelor Peter, Madison, and Hannah Ann could pull a 180 on us the very next night when it all continues Tuesday, March 10 from 8-10:01 p.m. ET. That's what I'm bracing for. At this point, aliens better fall from the sky and interrupt Peter's final rose ceremony or everyone involved with The Bachelor has hyped this ending way too much!

Plus, since ABC is revealing the 2020 Bachelorette this coming Monday, March 2 on Good Morning America, they don't have to do so on the March 10 "After the Final Rose" special. That confirms the next Bachelorette won't be Madison or Hannah Ann. (It's reportedly the woman I hoped it would be, thanks to moments like this.) I'm guessing ABC will use some "After the Final Rose" time to promote that new Listen To Your Heart spinoff, and maybe have the new Bachelorette on the hot seat for a minute, but we will all be talking about how The Bachelor 2020 ends.

There are lots of things to wonder about every season on The Bachelor and this season is no different. Usually, though, the questions that arise are about whether or not someone is on the show for the right reasons, if two people are right for each other, and maybe whether or not someone is actually mentally unstable and just shouldn't be involved at all. But, there is one persistent query that keeps coming up as leads and contestants travel the world while they look for love: Why don't guys ever offer women their coat when it's clear that they're freezing?!

I will immediately cop to the fact that I have never watched a season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette and wondered why, during some late night date when a woman is in a slinky evening gown and clearly not covered up enough for the chilly air, the guy she's with doesn't offer her his jacket. This might mean that I'm horrible, but I prefer to think it just means that too much other crazy stuff is going on during the show for such a simple thing to penetrate my brain.

At any rate, there is someone who's been wondering about the lack of this easy act of chivalry (which was on display when Madison talked to Peter after the most recent rose ceremony in an airplane hangar), so now we know why fans will never see it on any Bachelor show. Entertainment Weekly grilled a producer of The Bachelor about why we've never seen a man give a woman his jacket, and here's what they had to say:

Uhhhhhhh...EXCUSE ME?! So, the party line over at The Bachelor is to let women be colder than necessary, just because it looks silly on camera? Alright, just give me a second...As it turns out the producer had more to say, some of which sorta makes up for this shocking lack of empathy. Apparently, while this producer freely admits that they don't want to see any scenes of "a small woman draped in an enormous blazer" during the show, they do keep a generous supply of pashminas (which are super fancy giant scarves) available as they traipse around the world, so that any woman who catches a chill can cover up a bit.

The only problem with this, of course, is that I've also never seen anyone on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette cover herself in a pashmina, meaning that when that proffered blazer that smells like the handsome man in front of her is forced back onto his shoulders, all the cold ladies just do without. Nice, producers. Really nice.

On the upside, at least we know that the guys in the Bachelor franchise are aware of how to treat a lady in some small way. Honestly, for some of these dudes, if we don't see them offer a woman their jacket, we're not going to see them be actual gentlemen at all. But, maybe it's for the best that the show won't let us get complacent and think, "Oh, he can't be too much of a jerk. He gave her his blazer!" Let the real bastards fall where they may.

Bachelor Nation is on pins and needles right now. Peter Weber has already had a tumultuous search for love on Season 24 of The Bachelor. There have been several rounds of fights between the women, endless confrontations, many baffling decisions, a face-altering injury, one contestant who freaks out every time she and Peter are alone and a small virgin uprising in the form a non-ultimatum ultimatum. One thing we still don't have any clue about is how Peter's season will end, but there are persistent rumors floating around that, in a bold move, our super sexual pilot actually found love with a producer on the show.

We've been hearing all season long that Peter's season will not end in a normal way, and from what's happened so far, that would certainly seem to be the case. With all the nutty stuff that's already gone on, and the difficulty Peter is having choosing between Hannah Ann, Victoria (please, NO) and Madison, the chances that he ends the season with a proposal appears to be pretty slim. This leads us back to the possibility that, off camera, he somehow also fell in love with producer Julie LaPlaca, who's the woman popping up in all those rumors. Could that even be possible?

Peter ending his season without a proposal, but with a girlfriend in The Bachelor producer Julie LaPlaca, would be massive news, which explains why this rumor just won't die. Bachelor franchise host Chris Harrison recently appeared on Access Hollywood to discuss the season, and when asked about Peter and Julie, here's what he said:

Alright, Mr. Harrison! I see what you're trying to do here. You're not fooling anybody! We all know that it's part of Chris Harrison's job to float around and talk about the most recent season of Bachelor madness without giving away any real details that will spoil things, but look at what he just did. In one breath he managed to basically say, "Hey, we're all together all the time. Producers get close to leads and contestants; it's no big deal," and also say, "But, you never knoooooow." How dare you lead us on like that, sir!

As I said earlier, Peter and Julie ending his season as a couple would pretty much rock Bachelor Nation to its core. While there have been plenty of seasons that didn't end in a proposal (like Colton Underwood's 2019 season), or ended in a proposal that was quickly broken off (Hello Hannah Brown!) we've never seen a lead leave the show without finding or rejecting true love on camera.

The whole point right now is for fans who were introduced to Peter's search for love on Hannah's season of The Bachelorette, and saw him come pretty close to getting engaged there, to watch him get his happily ever after. If he ends up with a producer who we never even saw on the show, why did we even watch this season? (OK, fine...we watch for the mystery and the drama. But, you understand my meaning.)

Speaking of this whole off-camera Bachelor romance thing, long-time fans will know that it has happened before, just not with any leads. Season 10 saw one of Jake Pavelka's ladies, Rozlyn Papa, being confronted by Chris Harrison about her relationship with a producer, and then being made to leave the show. Then, of course, there was Season 1 Bachelor in Paradise sound guy, Ryan Putz, who fell for contestant Michelle Kujuwa. He almost got caught in her room and jumped from a second floor balcony to avoid detection...which didn't work, because he broke both of his legs.

Knowing all this, Chris Harrison was asked what exactly the rules of The Bachelor are when it comes to leads and / or contestants getting involved with people who work behind the scenes on the show, and here's what he said:

I don't know about you, but it sounds like there's some wiggle room there for Peter and Julie to get romantical if they really want to. It sounds like the leads finding love is priority one for the Bachelor franchise (which makes sense), so if one of their suitors is fooling around with a producer, etc., they have to leave because then they aren't really available for the lead. But, if the lead is dating all the contestants, and also getting close to someone off-camera, there's a lot more leeway for that to happen, because maybe they'll still find love that way.

Look, I'm not convinced that Peter and Julie will be revealed as a couple at the end of this wackadoo season, but it also sounds like, as far as the show is concerned, it wouldn't be the worst thing. So, let your rumor mill-focused brains keep on turning!

Alright, Bachelor Nation! We are getting down to the wire in Peter Weber's search for love on his season of The Bachelor, which means that an already intense situation is about to get even intenser! (Of course that's not a word, but I think it fits here, considering how nutty this season has been.) We've been teased all season long that Peter won't have a normal ending to his season, and now it looks like a dedicated team of Bachelor fans has cracked open one of the big secrets from his last few weeks as our rose-giver du jour.

As you probably know, Peter has just found out that Madison, who is one of three ladies he's currently in love with, is a virgin who's been saving herself for marriage, and he had to tell her that he went ahead and bopped at least one other woman during fantasy suites week. Madi wasn't happy, and if the next promo is to be believed, it looks like she might stay true to her word and dump Peter for his wayward sexytimes, when she'd made it clear beforehand that she might not be able to handle it.

The commercial for the Women Tell All episode shows Peter seemingly waiting for Madi to get to the post-fantasy suite dates rose ceremony, and then he shows up at someone's home and says to a person at the door, "I’m so sorry...from the bottom of my heart, I’m so sorry. I swear to god I never, ever envisioned this." Obviously, we all want desperately to know who the hell Peter is talking to, and a piece of that puzzle is where this house we've never seen before is located and who owns it. Well, thanks to BachSleuthers, we might have some answers. Take a look:

OK, what you see here is, apparently, an image of the home that Peter shows up to in the latest promo. Fans took the time to search Airbnb listings, and managed to locate the house, which is in California. We all know that Madi isn't from California, so this suggests that producers helped Peter talk to her at whatever hideout they'd devised for her until the season finished airing. Assuming, of course, that he needed to talk to Madi (most likely), and not Hannah Ann (very minor chance) or Victoria (please...NO).

The Women Tell All promo that shows Peter heading to this house also features the now-infamous clip of Peter's sobbing mother telling him, "bring her home to us!" and we've all been wondering who could have gotten this lovely women so riled up. The best choice would be, you guessed it, Madison, because she's already met his family once, on their first one-on-one date, and Peter will take his final two ladies to meet the folks. This seems to mean that Madi will get to bond with his mom again, after finally showing up for that rose ceremony, which will lead to Mama Weber's plea for Peter to go get her.

Wow. I'm still pretty new to all this Bachelor Nation stuff, but there seem to be a lot of layers to the action on this season that fans never saw before, right?

Who is going to be The Bachelorette 2020? It is still a mystery, now that the #1 frontrunner seems to be out and ABC is reportedly looking outside of Bachelor Peter Weber's season for options. Hannah Brown dominated the start of The Bachelor 2020, leaving many fans to wonder if she and Peter would end up together in the end. Turns out, that's not the case. It also looks like she won't return as the Bachelorette again, even though spoiler guru Reality Steve says she was the first choice to return for the 2020 season. (UPDATE: ABC is officially announcing the next Bachelorette this Monday, March 2 on GMA and there's reason for me to hope it's Clare Crawley. I'm going to be so mad now if it isn't her.)

Considering the other options out there from Bachelor Peter's season, I can't say I'm surprised ABC might be looking elsewhere. But I'm also not surprised if Hannah Brown wanted A LOT of money to go through that mess again, after both Luke P. and Wrong Reasons Jed. I don't know why anyone would repeat that without piles of cash. But that might be why the show is now reportedly considering Bachelor Nation women outside Peter's season for The Bachelorette 2020.

Hannah Brown did not join The Bachelor 2020 filming when Peter asked if she would. She went on Dancing With the Stars 2019 and won. She also mentioned recently that she was single, axing the idea that she returns in the end of Bachelor Peter's season; that was one major theory, since spoilers revealed Bachelor Peter's season does not have a "normal ending."

Hannah Brown shot down a lot of rumors, but one she left open until just recently was returning as the Bachelorette. However, that door appeared to shut when date announcements were revealed for Hannah B.'s involvement in the Dancing With the Stars live tour.

Apparently The Bachelorette contract talks of some sort broke down, or at least that's the word from spoiler guru Reality Steve. He said it's not clear yet who the next Bachelorette will be, but he noted Hannah Brown was the first choice:

It was also noted that this Monday's "Women Tell All" special plays out like an audition for Kelsey Weier to be the Bachelorette. It's still possible whoever Bachelor Peter does not pick in the end -- Hannah Ann Sluss or Madison Prewett -- could be the next Bachelorette, but it's unlikely. It's such a fast turnaround. But it could happen.

One interesting thing Reality Steve noted was that he keeps hearing ABC and The Bachelorette producers are NOT going to go with someone from Peter's season. He's not sure about that, but he did hear that Kelsey Weier, Tayshia Adams, and Tia Booth all had formal interviews with production.

I wonder if Kendall Long also had an interview, since Steve said he was sure there were more. After Kendall's recent breakup with Bachelor in Paradise co-star Joe Amabile, some fans have said they'd like to see her as the Bachelorette. Tia Booth and Tayshia Adams are also Bachelor in Paradise veterans. Tayshia was very popular last summer and ultimately tried for a relationship with John Paul Jones. I thought they were adorable, but they did not last in the real world.

No offense to Kelsey, but I do hope The Bachelorette 2020 goes with someone from a past season. I doubt they will go with someone who has never been on a Bachelor show, since they have never done that in 15 seasons of The Bachelorette. They did that all the time for early seasons of The Bachelor, but never The Bachelorette.

Hannah Brown would've been the first Bachelorette to do the gig twice. Brad Womack was the first one to get to be the Bachelor twice, and it didn't exactly go well either time. His second season winner -- also the first person he actually picked -- was Emily Maynard, who later became the Bachelorette after their split, but not directly after his season. So there's a precedent for waiting a year or so before showing up on TV again.

Who would you like to see as the Bachelorette? Maybe Hannah Brown could be convinced to return if there's a fan push, but I don't know. I wouldn't mind seeing Tayshia as Bachelorette, or Kendall, or maybe Tia. I'm curious who else might be in the running. (Apparently not Kelley Flanagan, since ABC didn't even invite her to the "Women Tell All."

At the moment, we're only up to the March 2 "Women Tell All" episode on Bachelor Peter Weber's season before his crazy two-night finale, with most of the action airing right at the end. The Bachelor 2020 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and this season will be followed by that new singing spinoff, and THEN The Bachelorette should start airing in May.

SPOILERS ahead from The Bachelor 2020, aka Bachelor Peter Weber's Season 24.

If you listen closely, you can probably hear The Bachelor 2020 host Chris Harrison shaking his head over everything that happens in Peter Weber's finale. How does Bachelor Peter's season end? Who wins? It sounds like we haven't seen anything yet, since Chris warned that the season has barely started -- and we're already past the "Women Tell All" episode! It sounds like we might pack a season's worth of activity into one week, and I'm ready.

(UPDATE: Here are Reality Steve's updated spoilers for the finale, as of March 5, 2020, including what reportedly happens with Peter and Madison and where things stand now.)

Technically, we only have three episodes left to Peter Weber's The Bachelor Season 24 -- the WTA on March 2, and the two-night finale on March 9-10. But so much happens in Peter's final week of filming ... and potentially afterward to be shown in updates on the "After the Final Rose" special.

That's what Chris Harrison said on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, and he teased a lot more of what we'll see -- including answers from that finale tease we keep seeing with Peter's mother crying, and Chris Harrison himself sharing some big news with Peter:

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay asked Chris Harrison on the podcast if the season isn't even over yet, as in, is the ending going to be more live than usual? Is Peter still going as the Bachelor after filming technically ended back in mid-November 2019? Here's his answer:

So many levels! Chris Harrison previously talked about having several heart-to-heart talks with Peter Weber during the final week, which should be emotional not just for Peter but also his final two -- spoiled to be Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett.

Chris Harrison is not going to openly spoil anything, and so far this is actually the first season of The Bachelor where the ultimate ending is still unconfirmed. However, Reality Steve's spoilers have revealed several things about the final week, and Steve said he thinks Peter and Madison are currently together but not engaged.

From what we've been told Madison Prewett does return -- eventually -- for Bachelor Peter's overnight dates rose ceremony, where Victoria F. is sent home just in time to be featured on the March 2 "Women Tell All" special.

As for the finale, Hannah Ann and Madison both meet Peter's parents -- although Madison already met them for her first one-on-one date with Peter -- and then ... something happens where Madison apparently quits in the final week, maybe even on final rose ceremony day itself. (No one has said she rejects his proposal, but ... oof. Hopefully she doesn't wait that long.) She must realize she's not ready to get engaged to Peter and leaves.

Reality Steve already said Peter did not have a "normal ending," meaning he did not pick someone and get engaged. Based on that, it sounds a bit like Bachelor Colton's finale -- the lead's favorite goes home, so he sends the other women home -- but everyone is talking about Peter's ending as if it's something brand new, so we'll see.

Madison was spotted filming with The Bachelor crew very recently, and Reality Steve said that was not for The Bachelorette. I'm still thinking that was for an update we'll see on the "After the Final Rose" special, which should otherwise be live and give us real-time updates from Bachelor Peter, Madison, and Hannah Ann (who is moving closer to Peter's house). That should also be when they reveal ABC's The Bachelorette 2020, who will probably start filming right away. (The next Bachelorette might be Kelsey, but then again it might be someone who is NOT from Peter's season, which would be a first.)

It sounds like there are still a lot of tantalizing mysteries about The Bachelor 2020 finale to watch on Monday, March 9 and (especially) Tuesday, March 10 for the "After the Final Rose" special.

And I'm happy to hear the season has barely started at this point, because that's how it's been feeling to me. I hope Bachelor Peter has spent the past three months since filming the finale working on his relationship with whoever he wanted to pick, Madison or Hannah Ann. Then again, that's tough to do between filming when you can't openly be with anyone. I'm very curious to see how this all turns out, and what happens next for all three of the people involved in the ending.

The Bachelor 2020 continues for the next two Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the second night of the final airing Tuesday, March 10.

I guess being The Bachelor isn't all roses and champagne, after all. Season 24's lead, Peter Weber, has had a rough go of it pretty much all season long. There were multiple battles between the women vying for his heart (which Peter had to try to sort out), one woman who's managed to repeatedly infuriate Bachelor Nation with her treatment of our Bachelor (whom Peter refuses to dump), and in the midst of everything, a lot of baffling decisions by the man himself. A lot of people are calling Peter Weber the worst Bachelor ever, or, certainly, the most indecisive one, but he's got some thoughts on that for you.

While Peter has spent the season looking for love, he's also managed to, well, do the opposite of endearing himself to fans. Peter has gone back and forth on a lot of choices and things that seemed definite for him, but he doesn't think any of it makes him indecisive at all. In fact, Peter believes that his troubled decision-making processes just show how human he is. Here's what he told The Hollywood Reporter recently when asked about the criticisms:

OK, Peter Weber. If you say so. Listen, we all understand that this...journey is a difficult one that no one is really prepared for, even if you have been on the other side of it, as Peter was when he was vying for Hannah Brown's heart on her season of The Bachelorette last year. Peter started Season 24 with a whopping 30 women to choose from, and while I certainly agree that dating that many people at once would make things way more confusing than any standard romantic situation, he's still made things way more difficult on himself than necessary.

Peter Weber has spoken before about how he hasn't loved all the hate from fans about his time as The Bachelor, but he's made a lot of decisions which have riled up the good people of Bachelor Nation. Much earlier in the season, when two women were bad-mouthing each other to Peter and he couldn't decide who to believe, he turned what was supposed to be a relaxing, fun pool party into an investigation. He spoke to many of the women who weren't involved in the conflict to get their thoughts, and try to make up his mind.

This led to Peter dumping Alayah (decision finally made) and sending her home. But, a few days later Alayah showed up to plead her case, and not only did Peter accept her back (decision unmade), but he also gave her a rose. When the other ladies, who'd done hard work on that day's group date to impress Peter by playing a sorta rough game of contact football, got mad at Peter for giving that date's rose to someone who wasn't even there, Peter sent Alayah home again (decision unmade remade).

This is just one example of Peter's decision-making skills in this, admittedly odd and intense, Bachelor environment, but his season has been filled with stories (big and small) like this one. I suppose it's true that he hasn't been "like a robot," because anything one could program to make decisions would have been fried by now from all of Peter's back and forth. One thing fans want in a lead is someone who can step up and stick to their guns, and Peter's had a hard time doing that.

Peter's down to his final women now, and he said on Monday's episode that he's completely in love with all three of them (even the one who's been treating him like a dumpster all season long), so he's got at least one more decision to make, and it's a big one. Apparently, though, this won't go smoothly, either, because no one has been able to spoil the ending of Peter's turbulent season.

It has become kind of common in the past few seasons of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise for the franchise to surprise fans and break some of the perceived "rules" that the denizens of Bachelor Nation have become used to. Last year saw BIP bring someone to the beach who had never been on any franchise show before, and now, Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor made all the women live together during fantasy suites week. And, while fans were shocked at the move and, well, awed by the awkwardness that it created, it turns out that this is exactly what the producers wanted. Surprise!

Generally, by the time The Bachelor (and The Bachelorette) get to the fantasy suites portion of the show, the lead has three (maybe four) potentials left. Instead of making these potentials live in one suite, they each get their own room, so they're not confronted with any intimate details of the remaining, competing relationships with a man who is also their boyfriend. On Monday night, though, we saw that the producers chose to forgo that for putting Madison, Victoria and Hannah Ann in one hotel suite, so that each could see the other leave on their date with Peter...and come back in the morning.

If you're wondering why the program was changed this year, Bachelor host with the most Chris Harrison has an answer for you, and it's all about making sure that things stayed awkward as hell. Here's what he told the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast hosts (and former Bachelorettes) Rachel Lindsay and Becca Kufrin:

OK, if you aren't up to date on The Bachelor, here's why Chris Harrison said that the producers felt they needed to force some conversations and decisions to happen this week. For one, Peter has declared that he's legitimately in love with all three women, and, obviously, the idea is to propose to only one at the end of this, so there's that. Also, while Madison (and Madison's dad) have spoken to Peter about how important religion is in her life, Madison has managed to get to the final three without telling Peter that she's a virgin. I! KNOW!

At the end of the previous rose ceremony, Madison pulled Peter aside and told him that she wouldn't be comfortable with him having sex with any of the other women during fantasy suites week and said if he did, it might mean that she'd dump him before he had the chance to pick his lifetime lady and propose to her. Then, when they get to Australia for fantasy week, all the women are essentially living together, and Madison's one-on-one date with Peter is scheduled last, so she can wonder about whether or not he and Little Pete enjoyed the other women in carnal ways.

According to what Chris Harrison said on the podcast, the producers were hoping to force Madison to tell Peter exactly why him not having sex with anyone else was so important, just as much as they were hoping to make the final decision easier for Peter. Of course, as I mentioned above, Madison's date was last, so while she did finally (Finally!) tell Peter that she was a virgin, it was already too late because he'd gone and made Little Pete a very happy...well, not man, but you know what I mean.

Chris Harrison said that the producers were also hoping to begin a dialogue about virginity, ultimatums, whether this was a wise move on Madison's part and who should be having sex or not at this point in the process between Madison, Hannah Ann and Victoria. They felt like having that was a necessary part of the equation, since Madison's decision was going to involve the other two and what they may have done with Peter:

Well, this didn't exactly go as planned. Madison did tell Hannah Ann what she told Peter about dumping him if he'd slept with either (or both) of the other women, but then Hannah Ann just went behind her back and talked smack about Madison with Victoria. So, it seems like the producers wanted to instigate more drama over all of the women rooming with one another than what eventually came from it. But, still, I'm sure that we can all see that the women on this season are so mature, you guys.

The Bachelor is going to be wrapping all this mess up in just a couple of weeks, so we can all see how Peter Weber's twisty, turny, fight-filled season turns out by watching every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. If you are sitting at the edge of your seat awaiting Peter Weber’s final stretch on The Bachelor, you may want to move back to the center. Season 24 may be divisive in some ways, but the anticipation to see who Pilot Pete gives the final rose to is hitting seismic levels. To that end, fans possibly picked up on a massive spoiler about who Peter chooses thanks to none other than Madison Prewitt’s father.

Madison and Hannah Ann are said to be Peter’s final two hopefuls. Now, there seems to be some potential evidence that Madison will end up winning Peter’s heart, despite her reportedly quitting The Bachelor during the finale. (Just like how all great relationships start.) Fans noticed that Madison’s father, who does not follow Peter on social media, followed the Seed to Mountain Ministries page on Instagram, per Cosmopolitan, and Seed to Mountain Ministries returned the love by following Madison’s father.

All the speculation in this situation stems from the fact that Peter Weber is a partner in Seed to Mountain Ministries. So is this a nod to Peter ending up with Madison, as Tiffany Haddish predicted? Maybe. But then again, maybe not.

The true ending of Bachelor Peter’s season actually has not been spoiled yet, though it doesn't appear that a full-on engagement will go down. In his latest post, Reality Steve theorized that Peter was trying to win over Madison post-finale, which would obviously mean after The Bachelor has wrapped its official run, in an attempt to work things out. He also acknowledged that it wouldn't be so surprising if Peter is revealed to currently be single.

How have things been going for Madison and Peter on The Bachelor lately? Not great. The duo recently hit a rocky road after Bachelor Peter confessed to being intimate with other contestants. Understandably, Madison was not happy about it.

That said, it's reported Madison will reluctantly accept a rose from Peter during The Bachelor’s “Women Tell All” special. As mentioned above, it had been revealed quite some time ago that Madison and Hannah Ann Sluss would be Peter’s final two.

Those spoilers obviously put Madison in the running to ultimately be the one that Peter ends up with when The Bachelor concludes. Bachelor Nation is well-aware that Peter’s ending will reportedly not end in a "normal" way. Keep in mind the surprising news that Madison somehow quits The Bachelor at some point during the finale. Sounds like a recipe for significant drama when The Bachelor finale goes down.

The climactic fantasy suites week finally arrived on Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor, which meant some big decisions for Peter and his three remaining ladies. Hannah Ann Sluss and Victoria Fuller seemed down to experience their own version of Hannah Brown's windmill with Peter, but viewers have known for a while that Madison Prewett is saving herself for marriage and has certain expectations for Peter not sleeping with other women on The Bachelor.

A clash has been coming between Madison Prewett and Peter "Four Times In A Windmill" Weber on the sex issue, and Madison's freakout is being roasted by fans. Since this is The Bachelor we're talking about and The Bachelor goes for max drama whenever possible this season, of course Madison's fantasy suite date with Peter came after Peter hit the sheets with Hannah Ann and/or Victoria.

Despite Madison forewarning him that she'd have issues with him sleeping with other women, he was still taken aback when she dropped the bombshell that she's saving herself for marriage and has expectations for him. Madison proceeded to more or less melt down when Peter confessed that he'd been intimate with somebody and wouldn't commit to living the way she wanted him to.

To me, Peter was as composed as he could have been despite what had to be a surprise, since Peter was already famous for his four times in a windmill with Hannah Brown. Madison knew that Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants do have sex with the lead sometimes, and Peter and Hannah obviously hooked up during her season on The Bachelorette.

Madison also dropped this bombshell on Peter only after he could decide whether or not to sleep with women, so he didn't know he was potentially ending his relationship with Madison by sleeping with Hannah Ann and/or Victoria. I'm not sure that he would have kept from sleeping with them just for Madison, but at least it would have been an informed decision either way.

Peter and Madison seem to be at a stalemate, and I don't think there's anything wrong at all with Madison realizing that she needs to leave Peter if that's what it takes to be true to herself. A lot of people seem to agree that Madison is fine and even admirable for sticking to her guns, even when she's falling in love with Peter. Even if we don't know how it ends just yet, she was clearly devastated at the prospect of holding onto her convictions and leaving him.

That said, a lot of people also seem to agree that Madison coming on The Bachelor to freak out about sex is roast-worthy.

Sorry, Madison, but this person has a point. Peter was so well known for the windmill sex with Hannah Brown that some of the women trying to win his heart at the beginning of his season brought it up.

Did Madison really understand how she'd be feeling if she made it all the way to the fantasy suite stage of The Bachelor? Maybe not.

Honestly, I do feel bad for Madison at this point, even if I see why so many people are roasting her. She really did seem to get in over her head, and Charles Barkley didn't share his advice about Peter until the season started airing.

Of course, Madison wasn't the only one on the date having a meltdown. Peter wasn't handling it well either.

I do look forward to Peter hopefully experiencing a revelation about Victoria and realizing that maybe having to fight for something doesn't mean an obligation to fight for it! I don't know that I'd call her a "crazy girl," but she has made his season of The Bachelor pretty complicated.

For another person on social media, Madison expecting Peter to share her faith was not her smartest move:

In Madison's defense, Peter's interests did seem to more or less align with hers up until sex came up, so I can see how she could have convinced herself of a different outcome to Peter's fantasy suites with Hannah Ann and Victoria.

Another person on Twitter may have summed up the situation best for Madison's conundrum on The Bachelor:

Will Madison leave The Bachelor early, forcing Peter to choose Hannah Ann or Victoria by default? Or is Hannah Brown still waiting in the wings to claim Peter's heart? Or will Madison find a way to accept Peter as he is and stay with him anyway? He does intend to find a wife, and she's saving herself for marriage, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. They do clearly care about each other.

Find out when The Bachelor airs its final two installments with Peter Weber as leading man on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The women will be telling all next, so Peter's big decision is still a couple weeks off. Still, it's always worth watching the tell-all episodes, for the drama alone!

Real talk: If you were virgin Madison Prewett on The Bachelor 2020 with Peter Weber, what would you do? Return after the overnight dates or quit over Bachelor Peter having sex with the other women and not being The One? Madison made her sex position clear during Bachelor Peter's overnight dates episode. It was awkward. There were overlaps with Luke P. last year, but also major differences.

Spoilers already warned us that Bachelor Peter's Monday, February 24 fantasy suites episode would end on something of a cliffhanger -- before the overnight dates rose ceremony. The episode ends after Peter's admission to Madison that he was "intimate" with other women. Madison cried in his arms and they parted ways. For now or forever?

Does Madison quit or return? Yes and yes?

First, Madison returns in time for Bachelor Peter's overnight dates rose ceremony, which will be shown at the start of next Monday's March 2, 2020 episode. That's the "Women Tell All" special episode, but it's starting with the rose ceremony to keep this drama train going.

Spoilers had already come out about Madison "self-eliminating," as Reality Steve put it. She apparently quits The Bachelor 2020, but NOT until the final week. It's after she meets Bachelor Peter's parents again. She already met them for her first date with Peter, but the final two meet the parents again. Since Madison does that, we know that -- if she does indeed quit as spoiled -- she leaves Peter very close to the end. Maybe even right before the final rose ceremony? We're waiting for spoilers on that and should get them as early as tomorrow.

First, it's going to look like Madison won't show up for the overnight dates rose ceremony next Monday (3/2), but she eventually does show up. (Apparently that shot in the promo of Hannah Ann crying about not knowing what to do happens at the final 3 rose ceremony, since she's not sure what's going on with Madison absent.)

When Madison does arrive at the overnight dates rose ceremony, Peter offers her a rose and she seems reluctant, but does accept it. Victoria F. is the one eliminated.

By starting the WTA episode with the results of the overnight ceremony, The Bachelor gets to drag out the Madison sex drama for another week, and ABC also gets Victoria F. on the "Women Tell All" special to address her drama. (Here's everything that happens during the WTA episode, it's going to be a hot mess.)

So Bachelor Peter's final two are Hannah Ann and Madison. That's the spoiler we've had from Reality Steve since the finale was taped back in mid-November 2019. Trouble is, Bachelor Peter reportedly did not have a "normal ending" where he dumped one woman and got engaged to the other. Something happened, and Peter was pretty sure no one would guess or spoil it.

However, Reality Steve said he was finally ready to throw down a theory on how Bachelor Peter Weber's season ends, and he planned to do that tomorrow (Tuesday, February 25). Up to this point, he said he thought Peter was with Madison, dating but not engaged. Madison was recently seen filming something with The Bachelor team, and that was reportedly not for The Bachelorette. (It looks like Kelsey is the new frontrunner to be the next Bachelorette, which ... OK.)

So it's possible Reality Steve is about to confirm Peter is with Madison, but there's also still a possibility that Peter is now with Hannah Ann, who recently revealed she's moving very close to Peter after the finale.

Is Jimmy Kimmel right or was Tiffany Haddish right all along? We'll find out when The Bachelor Season 24 finale airs Monday, March 9 with the "After the Final Rose" special on Tuesday, March 10.

It's here! The Bachelor 2020 episode no one I know was waiting for -- "The Women Tell All." The WTA episode is always a dramatic mess with lots of tears and fighting. But this year that's indistinguishable from the rest of Bachelor Peter Weber's season. So I can't say I'm looking forward to more on March 2, 2020. However! This year, spoilers show the "Women Tell All" episode will pick up from the overnight dates cliffhanger with Madison Prewett.

We'll get to see Bachelor Peter's overnight dates rose ceremony, see what happened to Madison, and THEN get the Bachelor WTA drama, which should end with bloopers and a finale preview showing Madison, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Bachelor Peter's abnormal ending.

Let's start at the beginning...

Overnight Dates Rose Ceremony

We're going to be left wondering if Madison will show up to the overnight dates rose ceremony in Australia or not. Did she quit after The Bachelor overnight dates sex talk/clash with Bachelor Peter? Well, no, although it sounds like she does leave later. According to Reality Steve, that promo shot of Hannah Ann crying, saying she's at a loss for words and doesn't know what to do, comes at this point when she and Victoria Fuller are standing there and she doesn't know what's going on because Madison hasn't shown up yet.

Ultimately, Madison does show up and when Peter calls her name, she seems to be reluctant but does accept the rose. That means Victoria F. leaves, and since they air that during the "Women Tell All," Victoria F. can be on the show without that being an on-air spoiler.

Who Is At The Women Tell All?

It's most interesting to me who is NOT there. But, according to Reality Steve's spoilers, the pre-taped WTA included these 17 women from Bachelor Peter Weber's season:

If you don't remember some of those names, neither do I. They left early. But they could certainly show up again on Bachelor in Paradise, especially if they get a big showcase here. What's really frustrating is women we don't even remember got to be at the WTA but Kelley Flanagan and Natasha Parker did not. However, Natasha made it clear that -- unlike Kelley -- she was invited, she just couldn't make it.

Apparently Kelley was not even invited, which is just frustrating and seems like the producers trying to keep our attention on certain women and not be distracted by better options for the next Bachelorette. But I've already vented about that.

Victoria F. In The Hot Seat

"The hot seat" is the seat next to The Bachelor/ette host Chris Harrison at the "Women Tell All" or the "Men Tell All." This year, it sounds like only Victoria F. and Kelsey are called up to the hot seat. While on stage, Victoria F. apologized to Bachelor Peter for how she acted, but also said the allegations that she broke up marriages was false. She already apologized off-screen for her involvement in a WLM (We Love Marlins) modeling campaign.

Kelsey In The Hot Seat

The hot seat can be uncomfortable, but it can also be a potential showcase for the next Bachelor or Bachelorette. That may be the case with Kelsey, aka the ChampagneGate meme queen. She got to talk to Chris Harrison about her journey and being so emotional -- and she even got a giant champagne bottle from none other than Ashley Iaconetti, who praised her for being open with her emotions. Remember, being "vulnerable" gets you a gold star, a cookie, and often a ticket to another TV show in Bachelor Nation. I'm sure they loved that about Kelsey. Is Kelsey anyone's first, second, third, or even fourth choice for The Bachelorette 2020? Eh.

Tammy Interrupts The World

It's not a "Women Tell All" special without women fighting, and it sounds like Tammy gets into it on a few fronts. Tammy and Sydney seem to go at it, and Lexi tried to talk to Tammy -- with Shiann between them -- and Reality Steve said it got intense. Chris Harrison even spoke out to ask Tammy not to talk over people. So I'm thinking all of those women will end up on Bachelor in Paradise, since that's the other audition happening on the WTA. If you know you're out of contention for The Bachelorette, there's always Paradise.

Everyone Hates Victoria P.?

I was hoping to be done with The Alayah Drama completely, but they had to address it again -- specifically the pre-season pageant friendship Alayah thought she had with Victoria P. Alayah brings up that she thought they were friends, since Victoria P. was supportive off screen. It sounds like the bachelorettes, including Savannah, come after Victoria P. There go Victoria P.'s (already slim) chances for The Bachelorette 2020 too.

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Talks Bullying

During the WTA, Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay comes out for a segment on bulling, sharing nasty and racist messages received by some women this season. I get it, it's absolutely crossing a line to troll -- especially with anything racist. People should know better. I do think fans take the lead off the show, though, and there's no denying this was an especially nasty season. They can try to shame fans if they want, but every week the women came at each other, and Bachelor Peter seemed to enable and even reward bad behavior. Plus, Bachelorette Rachel herself compared Hannah Ann Sluss to The Bachelorette's Luke P. off-screen, so there's been a lot of negativity. That doesn't excuse name-calling, especially anything racist and personal, but don't be hypocrites about "bullying," whatever your definition may be. If people are going to dish it out, they need to be able to take it. But if the larger point is "Don't dish it out!" then yes, but The Bachelor/ette should lead by example.

The Bachelor 2020 Finale Promo

It sounds like The Bachelor finale promo will show both Hannah Ann and Madison meeting -- or re-meeting, in Madison's case -- Bachelor Peter's parents. Reality Steve already said Madison "self-eliminates" in the final week, but he wasn't initially sure when she left. At the very least, it must happen after Madison talks to Peter's parents. Maybe it even happens just before the final rose ceremony, since the very start of The Bachelor Season 24 showed Peter standing there with an engagement ring in his hand.

Reality Steve said he planned to share his theory on how the season ends tomorrow (Tuessday, Feb. 25) but he already said he thought Bachelor Peter and Madison were together right now but not engaged. Madison was seen filming something recently with The Bachelor crew, and Steve said it was not for The Bachelorette. It's very possibly for the "After the Final Rose" episode, which should otherwise be live and give fans real-time updates on Bachelor Peter and whoever he is with now -- Madison or Hannah Ann (who is moving near Peter right after the finale). Hannah Brown is reportedly out of the running, along with Victoria F. and anyone else.

The Bachelor: The Women Tell All airs Monday, March 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. The two-night finale and live "After the Final" rose special air Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10. That's when ABC should also reveal the next Bachelorette, who will probably begin filming right away, since The Bachelorette has a quicker turnaround than The Bachelor when it comes to filming right after the previous show.

SPOILERS ahead from The Bachelor 2020, aka Bachelor Peter Weber's Season 24.

The Bachelor 2020 overnight dates, aka fantasy suite dates, air for Peter Weber on February 24, 2020, and ABC will show Peter and Madison Prewett clashing over sex. We just saw something similar last year with the ultimatum fight between Bachelorette Hannah Brown and Luke Parker. It may seem unfair to compare Luke P. to Madison, but that's kind of the point.

Luke Parker was very unpopular on Hannah Brown's The Bachelorette 2019 for various reasons of his own making. Madison Prewett is much more popular on Peter Weber's The Bachelor 2020 for reasons of her own making.

But we can't ignore the similarities in how their faiths informed their decisions during The Bachelor and Bachelorette's overnight dates. And we shouldn't ignore how neither one should've signed up to be on this show if they really wanted to take a hard moral stand against sex. Look around you, guys. It's Bachelor Nation not Christian Mingle!

We know from The Bachelorette that Pilot Pete loves him some sex and he doesn't need to wait for an actual bed to do the deed (four times). That was always destined to clash with someone like Madison. We know from Reality Steve's overnight dates spoilers that they do clash over sex. And even though Madison does walk away at the end of the date in a cliffhanger before the overnight dates rose ceremony -- to air at the start of the "Women Tell All" episode -- she does come back and continues into the finale. (And then reportedly quits in the final week before the final rose ceremony, but we're currently waiting for more details on that.)

Madison and Luke P. took similar positions against the lead having sex with someone else in the fantasy suites, but they expressed their positions in very different ways in different contexts, and that's worth talking through...

Madison Does Not Have A History Of Being Controlling

Luke P. walked into that overnight date with a lot of baggage from Bachelorette Hannah Brown's season. He had already shown himself to be aggressive, territorial, angry, possessive, a "psychopath" who fought with the other bachelors and acted like Hannah was already his wife, etc. Hannah already gave him second chances before he even showed up that day and announced his sex ultimatum (more on what he said below).

That's very different from Madison. Madison has been shown to be one of the nicest and most sane people on Bachelor Peter's season. While Hannah Ann was the one with early Luke P. comparisons because she kept stealing Peter's attention, Madison looked like the one who might win by default for being the only non-catty woman there. She was never controlling or possessive or anything like that, so her actions during the overnight dates come in a very different context.

Madison Is A Virgin Saving Herself For Marriage, Unlike Luke P.

Bachelor Colton may have been a virgin last year, but Luke P. was not. He was a wild man who felt God come to him in the shower for a wake-up call. That changed his perspective on how the marriage bed should be kept pure. Like everything with Luke P., it was presented in a way that wasn't just a personal choice but a general announcement for how everyone should live.

Then there's Madison. Madison didn't tell Peter she was a virgin saving herself for marriage until the overnight dates. Maybe she didn't think it would be an issue. But it's different from a guy who had plenty of sex until making a different choice and then expecting his wife to make the same choice. Madison is waiting for The One and -- maybe it's naive, maybe it's romantic -- it sounds like she was hoping The One she waited for would also be waiting for her. Not to say she didn't know Peter had sex before meeting her. But maybe once he'd met her he would STOP having sex with others. Which takes me to this next point.

Peter Already Told Madison He Was Falling In Love With Her

Even if Peter didn't know Madison was a virgin, he did know -- or should've known -- what he was doing when he told Madison he was falling in love with her. Maybe she's just naive about The Bachelor, but she may have thought he only loved her, and even though he couldn't pick her right there, he knew she was The One. The Bachelor is just not the right place for Madison, but the romantic in her might've thought "If he loves me, he won't want to have sex with anyone else -- much less two other women in the same week." Crazy talk! I know Hannah Brown had a strong connection with Luke P. right away, but I don't know if she told him she was falling in love with him the way Bachelor Peter spelled it out to Madison -- basically letting her believe one thing while he must've interpreted it differently.

Madison Approached Peter Before The Overnight Dates

This is a big difference. The Bachelor 2020 hometown dates episode ended with Madison pulling Peter aside. When the overnight dates episode began, she told him that if he slept with someone else it would be hard for her to move forward with this. So Peter tried to get clarification, saying if he were to spend the night with someone else, that's not something she could do. Madison tried to make it clear it's not an ultimatum, but his actions would speak louder than words.

She didn't tell him what to do, she just made her own hopes and position clear. It sounds like she was looking for a sign that she was The One for him -- and not having sex with two other women is a great sign, in my opinion. It's not like he was contractually obligated to have sex, and some people in love don't even want to have sex with anyone other than the person they love. Imagine!

Madison And Luke P. Expressed Their Overnight Dinner Talks Very Differently

Madison didn't tell Peter she was saving herself for marriage until the dinner part of their overnight date. That's when she said she wouldn't be able to say yes to a proposal and move forward if Bachelor Peter slept with the other women. Peter seemed surprised that she would throw it all away if he had sex with the other women, as if she didn't already try to make that clear before he made his choices. Madison didn't want to ask if Peter had sex, because it made her uncomfortable, but she wanted to know for herself and her own future. There was a promo that aired before showing Peter say, "I don't want this to feel like it's all about sex, but six days prior I was intimate with someone else." That might be what Peter told Madison. However he phrased it, he said he had sex with other women. Madison cried and left and Peter consoled her, then they parted for the night.

Contrast that to how Luke P.'s dinner talk with Hannah Brown went. First of all, Luke P. immediately started talking about how he'd heard people on the show proclaim their faith and then say they were looking forward to the fantasy suites, and he thought --- whoa, whoa, whoa, that's not right!

That's what he told Hannah Brown. Luke P. added that, if Hannah told him she had sex with one or (he chuckled) multiple guys, he would be wanting to go home.

So that was an ultimatum. That was telling Hannah B. what she should do as a person of faith. Hannah called him out on being a hypocrite for doing so many things earlier in the season that reflected poorly on his character, but she gave him another chance, and here he was on his high moral horse telling her how to behave. Madison spoke for herself and what she hoped from Peter vs. Luke P. was telling Hannah what to do, basically slut-shaming her because that's not the behavior he needed from his future wife.

Here's how that played out, including Hannah Brown telling off Luke P. and sending him home:

In contrast, Madison was making decisions for herself and hoping the man who had already said he was falling in love with her did not want to have sex with anyone else. She even told Bachelor Peter it would basically be breaking her heart if he wanted to have sex with anyone else. So he was put in a position to make a choice, knowing how she felt going in. While she was clearly hurt and disappointed with his choice to exercise his rights as the Bachelor, the fact that she ultimately returned to try again also showed how much she cared -- and that she wasn't trying to own or control him.

If Bachelor Peter and Madison do end up together, I hope it's because Peter knows now that she is The One and he won't go having sex with anyone else he can. I'm guessing she's not the type for an open relationship. But as much as I like Madison -- who doesn't seem like a hypocrite, unlike Luke P. -- I don't know that I would see Peter as the right match with her values. And she can't expect him to change for her. But it's not my life.

The overnight dates cliffhanger continues into Monday, March 2's "Women Tell All" episode. It'll show Bachelor Peter dumping Victoria F., just in time for Victoria to take the hot seat and defend herself from various allegations. Then the finale should be a two-night affair between Madison -- who does return at least long enough to meet Peter's parents again -- and Hannah Ann, who just announced a big move. The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

A lot has been said about this season of The Bachelor with Peter Weber. Fans are annoyed by how much drama many of the women have stirred up, but are also especially disappointed in many of the baffling decisions that Peter has made when trying to find his future wife. Some have gone so far as to suggest that the whole season be scrapped so that we can start over, but basketball legend Charles Barkley has another idea, mostly when it comes to Madison Prewett, who's one of Peter's final three women: "Dump his ass!"

If you haven't been following along with The Bachelor this season (in which case, bless your heart for spending your Monday nights in more constructive ways), you will likely be wondering why an NBA superstar would be so invested in whether or not Madison stays with Peter. Well, during hometown dates last week, Peter visited Madison's hometown of Auburn, Alabama, where they had some fun going through basketball drills at Auburn University's arena. First, though, Auburn alum Charles Barkley appeared on the big screen to warn Peter to treat his fellow alum right.

During the moment, Madison, who plays basketball and who's dad is AU's director of basketball operations, appears to have to tell Peter who Charles Barkley is. As you might imagine, Barkley was none too pleased with Peter's seeming lack of knowledge about his VIP status, so when The Bachelor was brought up on Inside the NBA last night, he was pretty quick to offer Madison his sage advice. Take a look:

What can I say? One should never annoy an NBA legend like Charles Barkley. Really, Peter, you should know better! Of course, large swaths of Bachelor Nation have been saying this about most of Peter's decisions all season long, so, why should this be any different?

If you didn't notice in the clip above, the host brought up the subject of The Bachelor because some of Auburn's men's basketball team was in attendance, along with Madison's dad, who was quite pleased when Barkley announced that he thought Madison should "Dump that loser!"

From what we know of spoilers from The Bachelor and what we've seen in the trailers for the next episode, it looks like Charles Barkley (and, let's be honest, Madison's dad) might get his wish. During the meet-the-family portion of Peter and Madison's hometown, her dad asked Peter nicely, but very firmly, to be 100% sure about his feelings for Madison before saying he was in love, because it would be a big deal for his daughter to hear that from Peter.

Obviously, in what appeared to be just a few minutes, Peter told Madison he was "head over heals in love" with her, which her dad would know right now if he's been watching the show. Madison's dad will also know that Peter told Hannah Ann he was in love with her during her hometown visit, and if he's seen the promos for next week, that Peter will declare himself to be in love with all three women left.

Now, here's where the potential dumpage by Madison could come in. She hasn't told Peter that she's in love yet, and it's obviously because she's not totally sure their values line up. Madison is very religious and waiting to have sex until she's married. Peter, meanwhile, famously had sex four times in a windmill with Hannah Brown during The Bachelorette last year, when they weren't even engaged to each other. The fantasy suite dates will lead to Madison telling Peter that she can't continue on the show if he has sex with any of the other ladies, but he did, and has to tell her that.

Spoilers indicate that Peter actually had sex with both Victoria and Hannah Ann, and that Madison will hear that directly from them, probably before her fantasy suite date, so that she feels the need to confront Peter about his sexytimes. The commercials for the episode make it look like she'll decide to dump Peter when he confirms her suspicion that he's been throwing wang all over town.

I have a lot of questions about why Madison would go on The Bachelor if she'd rather her potential intended didn't have sex with others while they were trying to figure out their relationship, but, if this is her rule, at least the girl is gonna stick to it. Possibly...Good luck Madison. Maybe we'll see you on The Bachelorette!
