Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s divorce was finalized well over a year ago, and they've both moved on. Apparently, the singer’s ex-husband isn’t totally ruling out tying the knot again, either, as he was asked about the potential to get married again.

Right now, Asghari is dating Brooke Irvine. They’ve been together since last November, and when TMZ caught them out on a walk, they asked about the couple’s long-term plans. When asked if he and Irvine would get engaged anytime soon, The Traitors competitor said:

The report notes that Irvine “giggled” at this indecisive answer. However, it does feel significant that he didn’t flat-out say no. Meanwhile, Asghari’s girlfriend didn’t say anything during this interaction about the future of their relationship.

However, that was not all Spears’ ex had to say. He was asked if he had discussed long-term relationship plans and goals with his girlfriend as well. In response, he said:

Irvine, who is a real estate agent, and Asghari were first linked in November 2024, per People, about six months after he finalized his divorce from Spears in May 2024. However, they didn’t go Instagram official until the start of 2025.

Before all this, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari, who first met on the set of "Slumber Party" in 2016, spent nine months separated and working through their divorce, which was finalized “amicably.” However, their union and their relationships after their breakup are still a point of interest.

Just last month, Spears called their marriage a “fake distraction,” and Asghari responded by saying it was “very real” to him, noting that they were “together for seven years.” He also explained in March of 2024 that when it comes to his divorce and their relationship, he views it as a “blessing.” He noted that his relationship with the pop star will always be a chapter in his life, as well, explaining that he wouldn’t talk bad about it.

He’s also been open about how his relationship with the “Circus” singer has helped his career, even though it’s obviously presented obstacles too. At the time, he explained that their public relationship gave him a platform. Since their breakup, we’ve seen Asghari here and there in big ways, including on the hit reality competition The Traitors (which you can stream with a Peacock subscription), where he was honestly amazing.

However, while we do see Sam Asghari still, he has made it clear that his relationship with Irvine is “not about Hollywood” and “all about love.” That seems like a good mentality to have as their relationship continues, and who knows, maybe they really will get to a point where they get married; they certainly don’t seem to be ruling it out.

Spears' social media presence has been making headlines for years now, thanks to her penchant for nudity, dancing videos, and overall uniquely personal way that she shares with fans. As such, I have to assume that she's going share her feelings about this statement by Sam Asghari.

The pair began dating shortly thereafter, with fans originally cheering on the Princess of Pop for her new chance at love. While they got married, a divorce followed a few years later. Throughout all the drama, Asghari has yet to throw his ex under the bus or speak poorly about Spears. Still, he's made it clear that he doesn't think their marriage was a "fake distraction."

May of 2024 signaled the official end to the relationship between actor Sam Asghari and pop sensation Britney Spears. The much-talked-about couple had been together since 2016, and married in a fairytale wedding in 2022, but he filed for divorce the following year amid allegations that she cheated on him. While he’s since been busy killing it on The Traitors and appearing in movie and TV roles, he’s reportedly thinking about getting back at his ex after she appeared to shade him.

One of the things that Spears has enjoyed doing over the years is taking to social media to bare both her body and soul by doing everything from sharing nude tub pics to standing up for stars like Kate Beckinsale and even revealing what happened when her conservatorship began. Lately, she’s taken to Instagram to lambaste unnamed exes, with one post slamming bad romances ending with her noting “and as for the men of the world… sincerely FUCK YOU !!!.”

After another post aimed at her previous relationships (which has since been deleted), where the “Toxic” singer claimed, “I dated two fking complete aholes ... and I realized I loved their dogs more than them,” a source told Radar Online that Sam Asghari is becoming more and more “tempted” by offers to write a tell-all book about their romance. They said:

I can only imagine. For one thing, there is pretty much always money in revealing your view of what happened when it comes to romance with a famous person. Aside from that, Asghari was involved with Spears through much of the “Free Britney” movement and the fight to end her conservatorship and lots of rumors about the state of her mental health, things that people will probably want to hear about for years to come.

There’s also the fact he, reportedly, didn’t challenge anything in their prenuptial agreement, and both stuck with the terms set forth there during the divorce, which helped to keep the proceedings relatively speedy. In the meantime, however, the Special Ops: Lioness talent has opened up about how being in a relationship with the singer negatively impacted his career while also opening some doors. Along with that is the public perception that he was only with her for money and/or fame. The insider continued:

Though Asghari has since moved on and is dating L.A. real estate agent Brook Irvine, his ex-wife’s attacks on unnamed men in her past could potentially lead him to want to stand up for himself and separate his actions during their relationship from those of her other exes, like Paul Soliz and Justin Timberlake. A big consideration, though, will be whether or not he’s offered enough money to offset the cost of breaking the terms of their post-divorce NDA. We all know that it can be incredibly difficult to break into the acting industry, even with several people now able to turn things like YouTube, TikTok or reality show success into roles on TV and in movies. The 2025 TV schedule, in fact, recently saw Sam Asghari gain new fans after his split from Britney Spears by being lowkey amazing on The Traitors. So, people will naturally think that his relationship with the popstar has helped his career. Well, Asghari admits to the benefits, but has also noted the professional downsides to being involved with the singer.

What Did Sam Asghari Say About How His Relationship With Britney Spears Helped His Career But Also Made It Harder?

While Sam Asghari was plugging away as a model/upcoming actor when he met Britney Spears in 2016 to appear in her “Slumber Party” music video, he, obviously, gained his own amount of fame simply for dating her. The couple was together for about six years (throughout all of the “Free Britney” movement and her conservatorship battle) before their fairytale wedding in 2022, but the actor then filed for divorce a little over a year later.

While speaking on the Page Six podcast, one of the hosts asked about how the Hacks guest star’s career aspirations have been impacted by the fact that most people got to know him because of his romance with Spears. Asghari answered:

The star (who has now moved on romantically with Los Angeles real estate agent Brooke Irvine) was very open about how his involvement with the Crossroads lead gave him a “platform” and upped his visibility. However, he also noted that they met on set, which meant that he was already working toward his goal of becoming an acting talent, whether he was in a relationship with someone famous or not. The slim star (who dropped 40 pounds post-Spears split) also said that there are some downsides, and added:

When the Great Nepo Baby debate of a few years ago was going on, we also heard a lot of this same story from actors like Lily-Rose Depp, who dislikes the title but also admitted to feeling that “people have been ready to see me fail, in a way, since I was a kid,” and talked about having to work a lot harder to get rid of misconceptions about why she gets high profile jobs.

All in all, Asghari has continued to do pretty well for himself by plugging away and auditioning and landing gigs whenever he can, just like any actor. It’s good to hear that he can acknowledge both the upsides and downsides of his famous former romance, and is committed to making sure he works hard for every opportunity he gets.

The US version of Traitors is in the midst of casting its upcoming fourth season, and fans are going wild with speculation. There are also more than a few rumors going around about who producers are allegedly in negotiations with. I’m really happy with a lot of the names being thrown around and would be stoked to see them cast, but I’m also begging producers to keep one thing in mind: some of the best cast members we’ve ever had have been the weirdest and least famous.

Which former Survivor players are we getting and which current and former Real Housewives are we getting? Those are always the first two questions people have about an upcoming season of Traitors and rightfully so. Those two franchises are the longest running and have the biggest fanbases. Of course we want to see strong representation from both of those franchises. Fans also want to see popular players from Big Brother, The Bachelor, The Challenge and RuPaul’s Drag Race too, but if you look back on prior seasons, there are always some deeper cut cast members that make a huge impact too.

You could easily say the biggest surprise/ breakout player from last season was Dylan Efron. He dominated a lot of the conversation on social media and had less reality show experience than almost everyone in the castle. Players like aristocrat Ivar Mountbatten, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari, Biggest Loser coach Bob Harper and WWE star Nikki Bella brought a really worthwhile contrast too. The season was quite obviously better by having them in it, even though they came from non-traditional franchises.

The same could be said about Season 2. British politician John Bercow had a completely different energy than everyone else in the castle, and his presence was a huge plus. Had Deontay Wilder not eliminated himself early in the show, he would have been an even bigger standout too, as you could feel the emotional toll it was taking on him. Bergie and Ekin-Su from Love Island had reality show experience, but they were from a franchise not always represented and Lord, they really delivered, as well. The list goes on.

Over the weekend, Traitors HQ put together a rundown of the rumored contestants for Season 4. The social media account covers the show extensively and has been partially accurate with similar posts in the past. You can see who they’re hearing most below. You’ll notice a recurring theme…

Now, who knows how accurate this is going to end up being? The popular social account responded to some comments and made it clear these are definitely people rumored, not people that have been cast, but regardless, it delivers my overall message here pretty well. We’ve got heavy speculation for Survivor players, heavy speculation for Real Housewives, Big Brother and Drag Race. We’ve got no rumors about less popular franchises or people unaffiliated with reality television.

I’m not saying the Traitors producers aren’t going to cast non-traditional players. I’m sure they are. There likely aren’t rumors floating around about those more unusual picks because they’re less tied into reality television and have less connections to the traditional reality tv sources that report on rumors. It makes sense they’d be bigger surprises than the reality show players we’ve all been loudly clamoring about for years, but even so, I do want to take this opportunity to say loudly that those non-traditional players, even if they’re speculated about less, are very important to the balance of the game.

Of course I have a giant list of my favorite stars from those franchises I want to see play Traitors. I’d love to see Coach Wade from Survivor, Da’Vonne Rogers from Big Brother and NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives, among dozens of others. Seeing legends from different reality shows brought together is a core element of what makes The Traitors so great, but the point of casting isn’t to work your way through a list of every famous player from a small group of shows. It’s to create the best possible season of television, and the way to do that is by bringing in a robust group of non-traditional choices too.

I want to see The Miz from WWE. I want to see Leslie Gilliams from MasterChef. I want to see Snooki from Jersey Shore. Give me someone from Top Chef with a big personality like Antonia Lofaso, Tiffani Faison or Fabio Viviani. I want to see former athletes and people who got famous amidst weird sex scandals. I want to see grown up child stars and people I haven’t even thought to guess. I want randomness and so do all the people who have fallen in love with the show who don't typically watch reality shows.

Traitors still has a few kinks in the game it needs to figure out, but there’s a real chance it could turn into a classic reality competition show that’s on for a decade or more. Survivor, Real Housewives, Big Brother and a few other core franchises will likely always provide its biggest pool for casting, but as all involved look to cast future seasons, I’m begging them not to discount the contribution those non-traditional choices can have. Their relative inexperience brings a needed dynamic and allows the reality show legends to play off them in a way they never could against each other.

Asghari opened up to US Weekly about his relationship with Brooke Irvine, saying:

Brooke Irvine is a Los Angeles-based real estate agent, and she’s reportedly been dating Sam Asghari for a few months now. After five years of dating, Asghari and Britney Spears tied the knot in 2022. However, the trainer filed for divorce just a year later amid allegations that the former pop star had cheated on him with contractor Paul Richard Soliz, who had done some work on Spears’ and Asghari’s house.

In December 2023, they were declared legally single again and, despite seemingly being more focused on his dogs than dating, Sam Asghari confirmed his relationship with Brooke Irvine soon after.

Britney Spears’ divorce from her third husband was finalized in early May 2024, the same week that her conservatorship battle with her dad, Jamie Spears, officially ended. It was at that time that her stay with Paul Richard Soliz at the Chateau Marmont ended, with cops and paramedics being called after an alleged altercation.

One can imagine that Sam Asghari would be happy to have a less-public relationship after everything he and Britney Spears endured. As the “Stronger” singer regained control of her life post-conservatorship, it seems the two didn’t see eye to eye on her posting nude photos to social media. However, while Asghari “preferred” she didn’t, he admitted he had no right to control what she showed of her body.

In January 2023, he expressed frustration that his wife couldn’t even eat a meal without being swarmed by fans with cameras after Britney Spears was reported to have stormed out of a restaurant after acting “manic.” By March of that year, rumors that their marriage was in trouble really picked up speed when both the singer and Sam Asghari were pictured without their wedding rings.

While Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have seemingly moved on, she did appear to call out her latest ex-husband and others from her past for not making her “feel beautiful.” It’s been close a full year since the divorce was finalized, and hopefully both parties are better off.

In a series of posts shared on Sunday, the “...Baby One More Time” singer bared her body and her soul as she donned some lacy lingerie that she said made her “feel beautiful” as she lambasted her ex-husband Sam Asghari and other men from her past for never making her feel that way.

There was no dancing from Britney Spears in the Instagram posts shared April 13, as fans have seen so often in the past. The former pop star stood, staring into the camera as she showed off a black-and-white lace bra and risque black bottoms to match. Check out the post below:

It's likely Britney Spears is referring to Sam Asghari in the post, who she dated for six years before their 2022 fairytale wedding. The Traitors star filed to end his marriage to Britney Spears just one year later, with the divorce being finalized in May 2024.

She also may also be referencing Paul Soliz, her former housekeeper, who was involved in the Chateau Martmont incident last May in which Spears injured her ankle. The singer reportedly broke up with Soliz again recently. Her Instagram post continued:

It’s unknown if her words are aimed at any other specific exes. Before Sam Asghari and Paul Soliz, she was married to Kevin Federline for three years, and she’s had several other public relationships — most notably, her infamous romance and breakup with Justin Timberlake, details of which were among the biggest reveals in her memoir, The Woman in Me.

She had one final middle finger for those who have done her wrong, writing:

Britney Spears wasn’t done with just the one lingerie post, though. Minor spoilers ahead for the most recent episode of The Traitors.

While it's only been on the air for a few years, The Traitors has quickly become one of the best reality shows of all time. Those with a Peacock subscription have been treated to plenty of iconic moments, especially from the current third season. The cast of The Traitors Season 3 has reality royalty, as well as Britney Spears' ex Sam Asghari. It turns out he's actually amazing at the game, and I'm totally shook.

While some fans are still figuring how to watch The Traitors Season 3, I'm pouring over every frame of footage when new episodes air. Asghari's divorce from Britney Spears is finalized, and now he's making headlines thanks to his work on the reality competition series. Because while he started off pretty quiet, he definitely turned heads during Episode 8.

Sam finally took center stage at breakfast in the most recent episode. He revealed his strategy in the game: to mostly observe and listen rather than chiming in all the time. And he made some great observations during that time, including a trap that he set for the Traitors. Unfortunately, said trap didn't exactly work out as he planned.

After finding out about how the way the face to face murder was presented, Sam devised a plan to possibly catch the Traitors in a lie. Namely by asking what host Alan Cumming was wearing when he appeared to those who were not murdered.

And this plan almost came together and blew up Survivor icon Carolyn Wiger's game. Unfortunately, the always bumbling Tom Sandoval ruined this plan. Because right when it looked like Carolyn was caught, he interrupted and gave her all the answers to prove she was a Faithful.

I was also impressed by the way Sam Asghari clocked the dysfunction that's been happening behind the scenes with the Traitors. While the Faithful assumed they had some master plan in the Turret, the actor/model said that he doesn't think the Traitors are quite that smart. Unfortunately, he said this in front of Danielle. So we'll just have to wait and see if she decides to get revenge and murder him.

Sam's strategy for staying largely in the background might end up helping him get to the end of the game this season. There are still big threats in the game like Dylan Efron, who I assume The Traitors will end up murdering soon. So if Sam can stick around and make a big move when the timing is right, I could see him potentially turning the game on its head.

We'll get more information when The Traitors airs new episodes Thursdays on Peacock, as part of the 2025 TV premiere schedule. Hopefully Asghari doesn't get eliminated.

Few celebrities have had quite as much headline-fueling fame as the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears. She and her ex Sam Asghari filed for divorce after years together, and he's part of the Traitors Season 3 cast list. But his famous ex is also making moves, including Britney's announcement that her tell-all novel The Woman in Me is getting the biopic treatment. And now Asghari has broken his silence on the subject, being quoted saying "I just hope they have her approval".

When fans rallied around the #FreeBritney movement to reach an end to her conservatorship, they also applauded Sam Asghari for making Spears so happy. But now they've split, and Asghari is seemingly unable to speak about her on The Traitors. But during a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, he spoke about the upcoming biopic, offering:

Pretty classy response. Despite whatever went down in their relationship, it sounds like he wants the best for Britney... especially in relation to her upcoming musical biopic that'll be directed by Jon M. Chu.

While fans have to wait to see how Asghari does on The Traitors (which is streaming with a Peacock subscription), he's been keeping busy with other projects like the upcoming John Cena movie Jackpot. In the same interview with ET, he was asked who should play him in The Woman In Me, and he sidestepped the query, saying:

Fair point. Asghari is just going to focus on his own career, rather than getting too into the weeds related to the upcoming Britney Spears movie. Still, it would make sense if he was a character that popped up eventually.

Of course, the biggest casting question fans have is who might play Britney, as well as Justin Timberlake. The memoir was brutally honest about her time with Timberlake, including when Spears was encouraged to have an abortion. Given how she and the NSYNC singer knew each other from an early age before even dating, he could be a fairly large character in the developing movie.

Not much is known about the movie adaptation of The Woman In Me, but it's expected to be directed by Crazy Rich Asians filmmaker Jon M. Chu and produced by Marc Platt. And whoever ends up playing Britney is going to have some seriously big shoes to fill.

The inspiration behind his laser focus is something he credits to his family, as he told the trade:

Sam Asghari sounds willing to put in the work to accomplish his goals, and his upcoming appearance on The Traitors might be his biggest job yet. After Season 2 took Peacock subscription holders by storm, the third season is set to star a new group of stars including Dolores Catania, Bob the Drag Queen, Tom Sandoval, Chrishell Stause and Nikki Garcia, to name a few, with Emmy nominated host Alan Cumming returning with his ridiculous accent.

Britney Spears' ex-husband isn't the only one making big Hollywood moves, though. The "Toxic" singer herself also recently announced that her memoir The Woman in Me is being adapted for film by Jon M. Chu. I suppose we can assume Sam Asghari won’t be auditioning for a role in that project?

After just a few years on the air, The Traitors has established itself as one of the best reality shows on TV. Part of this popularity comes from the ensemble full of reality TV icons, with The Traitors Season 2 cast including beloved figures from Survivor, The Challenge, and The Real Housewives. The third season will feature Britney Spears' ex-husband Sam Asghari, although there's one thing he's reportedly not allowed to talk about.

The cast of The Traitors Season 3 was just revealed, and there are a number of familiar faces who will be duking it out in host Alan Cumming's Scotland mansion. Asghari was a surprise name on the list, and according to TMZ, he won't be able to talk about Britney while appearing on the show. 

Per this report, Sam Asghari basically has a gag order when it comes to speaking about the Princess of Pop in public forums like The Traitors (which is streaming with a Peacock subscription). So it seems he won't be able to use his connection to celebrity to bond with his fellow castmates in the mansion. 

It should be interesting to see how a wild card like Asghari does in a cut throat, deceptive game like The Traitors. While Survivor winners like Boston Rob and Tony Vlachos are going to try and get to the end of the finale no matter what, perhaps Sam's status as an outsider will allow him to suss out the Traitors and Faithful. 

It's fascinating to see how each season of The Traitors ends up totally different, depending on the individuals who make up the cast. Case in point: the first season of The Traitors Australia was thrilling, while Season 2 was so disappointed hated by fans that the show was cancelled. And the US version having a full cast of public figures and reality stars definitely adds another wrinkle to the gameplay.

After The Traitors casting rumors circulated online, the network made the bold decision to officially reveal its cast, which is in the midst of filming as we speak. While there are no competitors on The Challenge after Season 2's finale, there are plenty of iconic gamers. That includes Survivor's Tony Vlachos, Jeremy Collins, Boston Rob, and Corolyn Wiger. We've also got Housewives Dorinda Medley, Dolores Catania (who I suggested should join The Traitors years ago), and Robyn Dixon. Big Brother alums Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes are included, as is RuPaul's Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen (who I also said was a Ru Girl who would be great for The Traitors). And I'm hoping Bob has a long run, because I'm still mad about Peppermint's elimination last season.

After the week Britney Spears has had, she’s going to need one of those extravagant vacations she’s been spending so much money on in order to cool down! First, the retired pop star settled a lengthy court battle with her father, finally bringing an official end to the 13-year conservatorship and the lawyers’ fees surrounding it. Then in more legal news for Britney, her divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized nearly nine months after the personal trainer filed to end their marriage. Let’s take a look at this week in Britney’s legal news:

Britney Spears And Sam Asghari Are Officially Divorced 

There was allegedly no drama as the paperwork on the divorce between Sam Asghari and Britney Spears was filed late May 1, with Page Six reporting it just needed a judge’s signature to become official. The couple — who was married for just a year but had been dating since 2016 — reportedly maintained the terms of their prenuptial agreement. 

That means the “... Additional property assets will also be divided according to the terms of their prenup. It was previously reported that the prenup would keep Sam Asghari from collecting spousal support, and other issues were handled soon after their separation, including custody of their beloved dogs.

Rumors had swirled that there was trouble in paradise ahead of their official split announcement in August. Both Britney Spears and Sam Asghari were seen publicly without their wedding rings in the months leading up to the court filing. 

Settlement With Jamie Spears Ends Conservatorship Battle 

Britney Spears’ divorce was the second legal battle this week that was resolved for the Crossroads actress. The first was the official end of the battle over money related to her conservatorship. A judge ruled back in November 2021 that Spears be released from the conservatorship, putting her back in charge of her life and finances. However, questions remained about lawyer fees from those court proceedings, and Britney made allegations about how her father Jamie Spears had spent her money over those years, enlisting the help of attorney Mathew Rosengart to try to recoup some of that cash.

In the end there was “no justice,” in Britney Spears’ words, as the case was settled without her being awarded any money from her dad — and she reportedly forked over another $2 million to pay his lawyer fees.

All of this news came amid reports that the “Toxic” singer was in danger of “going broke” due to luxurious jaunts via private jet to French Polynesia; however, sources have disputed those rumors, saying Britney Spears is just fine financially, thanks in part to the release of her memoir last year, The Woman in Me. 

Now that these legal battles are over, hopefully Britney Spears does take some time to relax and recover, and the rest of us can mark the end of this week in legal news by watching the singer in Crossroads, which is now available to stream with a Netflix subscription.

For instance, he dropped 40 pounds following the divorce, and it looks like he’s loving his body. Accusations of being jobless hit a lot differently when everyone in your entire industry is striking and out of work. As he so aptly referenced, even Leonardo DiCaprio is unemployed right now. All actors (or at least those working in movies and TV in The United States) are currently out of work in protest of what they see as unfair working conditions. 

Those working conditions mean a lot of things to a lot of different actors, but the most common issues are around streaming content and AI. For decades, actors were paid when their work was shown in reruns on television, but with the advent of streaming, there’s not really a system in place to compensate actors, nor is there any real transparency around how their work is doing. In addition, studios now have the ability to use technology to manipulate performances and reuse background actors, and there aren’t really rules in place regulating that.

So, Asghari is striking like Leonardo DiCaprio and everyone else. Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that he does not have Leonardo DiCaprio money or Britney Spears money. As such, there will continue to be a lot of interest around how much he ends up getting in the separation and whether that allows him to continue the same quality of life he had with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Then again, it’s also possible, regardless of how the divorce plays out, that he could find his footing in Hollywood. He’s been working regularly over the last several years, but most of his roles have been of the supporting variety or multi-art guest stints on TV shows like Special Ops: Lioness and Black Monday. 

As for the divorce itself, there’s still plenty of questions about what exactly happened there too. The rumors have been near non-stop and pointed the finger in a variety of directions. So far, we’ve gotten everything from she cheated on him to he would abandon her for weeks or months at a time. Maybe we’ll get some answers in a highly publicized divorce trial, or maybe the two sides will quietly settle and move on to avoid the media circus that would inevitably come with something drawn out. We shall see.

But whenever those issues are resolved, which will hopefully be sooner rather than later, it sounds like Asghari’s followers could see him popping up more and more. That said, he doesn’t currently have any upcoming projects lined up.

However, even after the strikes were both in motion, Sam Asghari did have an on-screen role in Taylor Sheridan’s latest non-Yellowstone drama, Special Ops: Lioness, which is available to stream with a Paramount+ subscription. And he’s got an action-comedy project that has reportedly already been filmed, Grand Death Lottery, which features such excellent co-stars as John Cena, Simu Liu, Seann William Scott, and Awkwafina, to name a few. But it’s not clear when that movie will be making its way to our eyeballs.

In the meantime, Asghari is reportedly spending his time helping to take care of his mother Fatima Asghari in Los Angeles. She was involved in some kind of a major accident as July came to a close, and had to be taken to the emergency room at the time. She apparently made it through that incident with non-life-threatening injuries, and has been recovering from the hospitalization at home in recent weeks, but is said to still need the extra help around the house, which is where her son comes into it. 

All things considered, Sam Asghari seems to be handling things fairly well, and apparently has the Doberman Porsha to keep him company, as it was agreed he'd get to keep that dog, while Spears took custody of the other four that they shared. Meanwhile, the Crossroads star has reportedly been a bit worse off, not that one could tell from her continued habit of posting dance videos. Here's hoping her new staffers help keep things centered on her end as the divorce proceedings get finalized.

The four videos in question all feature the pop star dancing up a storm in a leopard print bodysuit. In each, she shows off a variety of fun moves and seems to be enjoying herself. The first two only contain emojis of the Mexican flag as a caption, while the third calls out N.E.R.D., which is the backing track for her dancing. Beyond the amicable dog custody agreements, it looks like things aren’t quite so hunky dory, in part due to the suspicion that Sam Asghari will aim to challenge their prenup, which in its current state leaves him without a divorce payout. Not only would the challenge possibly put her on the hook for a large chunk of change, but it would also reverse the agreement’s confidentiality clause that prohibits Asghari from sharing previously undisclosed details about Spears.

Thus, TMZ reports that Spears is aiming to sate Asghari’s wishes in the short-run, to dissuade things from going too far, with the idea that the pop star and her legal team will attempt to settle the issue by offering a one-time payday to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. In the meantime, Spears is currently footing the monthly bill for the new apartment that Asghari shifted his things into after moving out.

The model is said to be staying at one of L.A.’s most high-end apartment buildings, which is setting Spears back upwards of $10,000 a month, the price of a standard unit. And as expensive as that is, it’s apparently a steal, with Asghari working out a deal that has him living in an upgraded unit while still paying the base price. 

Spears has been largely silent on the issue, and though she has shared her thoughts with followers on social media in the interim, it’s possible she’s equally unable to discuss certain details per the NDA agreements. And even if those details won’t be in the mix, she will indeed be spilling the tea on a host of other topics in her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me, which is set to release in stores on October 24, 2023. 

Last week it was announced that Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari were getting a divorce after a little over a year of marriage. Several reports around the reason for their split have been swirling, and many rumors about Asghari’s intentions have come out since the break up. Many fans are protective over Britney Spears, as the singer only just recently was rid of her decades long conservatorship. One of these fans that has advocated for the “Toxic” singer’s autonomy is Hidden Figures actress Octavia Spencer, who’s comments on the situation have gone viral. 

When Spears and Asghari announced their engagement in 2021, many fans were suspicious of the model, due to many people in the pop star’s life trying to control her and her assets over the years. Documentaries like Britney v. Spears, which is available with a Hulu subscription, made fans even more protective over the star, especially as it showed how close Asghari was to the controversial situation. Spencer seemed to have her own suspicions, as she commented some pretty sound advice on Spears’ Instagram post announcing the engagement. She said:

Many found this hilarious, because she was seemingly saying what everyone was thinking, and the Oscar winner’s investment in the Circus artist’s relationship was surprising. Spears seemingly followed the advice, as Asghari did sign an iron-clad prenuptial agreement before marrying the singer last year. In theory, this should protect the singer from having to pay out big money to Asghari. However, recent reports suggest that he is trying to get the prenup renegotiated in the wake of their split. These reports also have alleged that the model has threatened to reveal some “embarrassing” information about Spears if the contract isn’t adjusted. Once again, Spencer was having none of it, commenting yet again:

Ma for the win. If the rumors are true, and Asghari is threatening to share information, this is considered to be a crime, and blackmail (or extortion) is not permissible under the law. These early reports are currently just speculation, but all signs point to a messy uncoupling between these two, considering violence and cheating are rumored to be involved. Britney Spears has already been through a ton, so the last thing she needs is someone else in her life using her for her estate. All of this is coming out as the release of Spears’ tell-all memoir titled The Woman in Me approaches. Asghari has been publicly supportive of the book prior to their break up, however it is unclear if details will be changed in the wake of the singer’s evolved relationship status. It seems like Spears can’t escape the never-ending drama in her life. Thankfully, she still has a passionate group of fans supporting her through it all, including other celebs like Octavia Spencer. Hopefully one day the “Piece of Me” singer finds the peace she deserves.

There was sad news out of the Britney Spears camp last week, as it was learned that she and Sam Asghari were headed for divorce after six years together and just over a year of marriage. Rumors of trouble between the two had circulated for months beforehand, particularly after they were both pictured without their wedding rings. As the couple begins to officially part ways, fans can be assured that the embattled pop star is in good hands, as she has one thing in common with Angelina Jolie, Kevin Costner and several other celebrities who have been through the process of ending their marriages. 

Britney Spears has retained the services of famed divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, Variety reports, who, along with currently assisting Kevin Costner with his split from Christine Baumgartner, was the Mr. and Mrs. Smith star’s lawyer in the early years of her proceedings with Brad Pitt. Wasser has also litigated the end of marriages for many other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Johnny Depp, Maria Shriver and Stevie Wonder. In addition to Wasser, Spears will continue to work with Mathew Rosengart, who was responsible for getting her out of her 13-year conservatorship.

Laura Wasser previously worked with Britney Spears when she was fighting Kevin Federline for custody of her two sons.

Sam Asghari filed for divorce from Britney Spears on August 16 — just 14 months after their fairytale wedding — citing “irreconcilable differences.” He is reportedly asking for spousal support and attorney’s fees, despite the “ironclad” prenup he signed not entitling him to any such pay-out. 

There’s an interesting wrinkle, however, in the couple’s pre-marriage agreement. Sam Asghari also signed off on a confidentiality clause that would prohibit him from ever talking about anything that happened between him and his wife, or past events of her life that he’s become privy to over the course of the last six years. His lawyer is apparently challenging the prenup, and there’s allegedly the possibility that Britney Spears will pony up the cash to make the challenge go away.

The situation certainly feels like it has the potential to get ugly, but if anybody is capable of navigating those waters with the “Baby One More Time” singer, it’s probably Laura Wasser. The divorce lawyer to the stars may also have to fight through cheating allegations, as Britney Spears and Sam Asghari apparently had a big blowup about a week prior to the divorce filing, after which Spears’ husband reportedly moved out.

Other (unsubstantiated) claims that have come out over the past few days include accusations that Britney Spears asked one of her employees to film her naked and that she allegedly attacked Sam Asghari in his sleep.

However, in a statement about the breakup, Britney Spears referenced her own struggles, saying she “couldn’t take the pain anymore” and that ultimately the reasons for their split were “nobody’s business.” While she’s not wrong, that fact isn’t likely to deter her fans from taking much interest in whatever happens next for the former couple, now that they’ve lawyered up. 

One of the most highly anticipated pop culture literary releases coming to the back half of 2023 is no doubt Britney Spears’ memoir, titled The Woman in Me, which is finally set to hit shelves in October. While Sam Asghari has been publicly supportive of the book’s release, as well as Spears getting a chance to share her life story from her own perspective, the pair are now heading for divorce amidst an allegation-filled break-up that‘s been connected to rumors of cheating and violence. And fans eagerly awaiting the autobiographical release are no doubt wondering if and how the split will affect the book’s arrival. 

At this time, Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me will reportedly make its way to bookstores and online retailers in its current iteration, and no plans are in place for the pop star to go back to the metaphorical typewriter to revise what she’d previously chronicled. As such, anyone who’s been anticipating the book to see what she has to say about her and Asghari’s break-up won’t find what they’re looking for here, as the text will remain the same as it was before their personal issues became too hard to handle. 

According to TMZ, Spears signed off on everything in the book a week or so prior to the news going wide about her and Asghari. So at this point, she no longer has the right to request or demand changes be made to the text. That said, it’s not clear if she’s actually shown any interest in doing so in the days after the actor officially filed for divorce.

Regardless of what plans may currently be, there’s always the possibility for Spears to document the trials and tribulations of her divorce from Sam Asghari for a follow-up memoir. Time would obviously be a factor there, not to mention the potential success of the first effort. But it does seem like sales won’t be much of a worrisome issue.

It’s reported that presales for The Woman in Me have been on the rise even more than they were already, and that the spikes occurred after the divorce news broke. Sure, some of those people will probably be disappointed to see that the writing was finished before any of that drama came about, but they’ll no doubt still obsess over everything else in there.

The mother of two has made no secret of how up close and personal her stories are in the book, saying she thinks fans will think she should have become the meanest woman in the world given all that she’s dealt with in her career and family life, from her relationship with Justin Timberlake to her controversial conservatorship.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have both acknowledged they're separating, but neither has spoken publicly about the reasons behind their split. That hasn’t stopped the rumors from swirling though. Numerous outlets have run stories from alleged insiders, and most of them seem to point the finger squarely at The Princess Of Pop, blaming her for the marriage crumbling, whether it be for cheating or getting physical. But there are two sides to every story, and finally, at least one insider sympathetic to Spears got their story out there.

Over the weekend, Page Six ran an article pushing back on some of the claims that have been going around. An unnamed source said Asghari would “disappear” for months at a time, sometimes because he was filming a movie and sometimes because he just left. In addition, the source claims there wasn’t any cheating and pointed out that he’s a foot taller than her and she wouldn’t be capable of attacking him, even if she wanted to.

Divorces often devolve into he-said/she-said situations. The big difference with celebrities is they use their publicists and the media to make their cases. Instead of friends gossiping and sharing stories, it’s large outlets running quotes from unnamed sources trying to cast the blame on the other. And until this most recent story, it’s been almost all Asghari’s version of events, at least apart from some allegations that he was planning to contest the prenup, which may or may not be true. 

First, we got rumors that Spears cheated on Asghari. Second, we got allegations that she asked a worker at their house to film her naked. Third, we got a story about how she allegedly attacked him while he was sleeping and left him with a black eye. I have no idea if all, none or some of those stories are true, but given we’re also seeing a steady stream of stories about how Britney doesn’t have close family or an extensive support system right now, it’s pretty clear those early stories were likely coming from those close to Sam.

Both sides now have divorce attorneys in place, and while there’s clearly the blame game by proxy going on right now, it’ll be interesting to see whether either side has the stomach for a contested fight in court. As we saw last year with Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, the general public can get very invested in these sorts of things, dissecting every detail all the way down to witnesses farting on the stand. I’m not sure Ashgari or Spears wants the general public to focus that much on their personal lives. That certainly wouldn’t be in keeping with how often they stayed quiet and just let people talk during their marriage, but to quote Ted Lasso, divorce is hard, and it makes folks do crazy things. So, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

A number of follow-up reports have surfaced in the aftermath, many of which regard alleged details pertaining to the legal ramifications of the situation. Her latest marriage alone was filled with ups and downs but, if her message is any indication, she seems to be handling this latest development well.

Most notably, Asghari reportedly signed an ironclad prenup that would keep him from any of the “Toxic” singer’s fortune; however, per new reports that may not be how things shake out. 

What To Know About The Prenup Sam Asghari Signed

According to reports detailing the prenup, Asghari’s split from Britney Spears would reportedly include him being able to take personal property he owns, including items like clothing, cars, jewelry and other property. However, things that were not gifted like Britney would still belong to Britney, including the couples’ home in Calabasas. In addition, the agreement the actor signed would keep him from getting spousal support. 

That’s not the most interesting bit to note though. Apparently, in this prenuptial agreement, the actor agreed to a “extensive confidentiality clause.” That would mean he can’t talk about anything that happened with him or his soon-to-be former wife. Nor can he talk about any knowledge of past events in her life he's heard stories about, etc. Yet a recent filing from his lawyer may be challenging that.

Why Sam Asghari May Get A Big Payout Anyway

According to a source who spoke with TMZ, Sam Asghari knows a lot about what is going on behind the scenes with Ms. Spears when she is not creating viral dance videos for Instagram. Right now, he’s legally obligated to stay mum about what he knows, but a recent legal filing from his lawyer may challenge that. On the surface, Mr. Asghari is asking for spousal support, which Ms. Spears would not have to provide given the current agreement in place. 

Regardless, if his lawyer Neal Hirsh is able to successfully “challenge” the prenup, then what was signed in the agreement would fly out the window, and the door would be open for Sam Asghari to talk about… whatever. And that may not be something the singer would want. 

Because of this, those who spoke to the outlet feel the singer’s legal team will just pay out to make the divorce challenge go away. So, despite the prenuptial agreement, Sam may be due a bit of a windfall in the coming weeks, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. 

What Asghari's Rep Has Said On The Matter

After the report broke, Sam Asghari's rep said he was not threatening Ms. Spears with "exploitation" in order to get money. In a statement (via THR) Brandon Cohen said: 

However, the divorce filing is still asking for spousal support and a payout could still be imminent. 

In a separate bit of news, Asghari had been debunking rumors of marriage trouble earlier this year, and he was also the person who took to social media to confirm the split was happening. The actor and former model noted on his Stories that while things had taken a turn, he hoped the press would be kind to Ms. Spears.

So it doesn’t seem as if he wants the divorce to drag on, or for things to take a negative turn, either in the press or the courtroom. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next, but Spears has already seemingly moved on, and is planning to purchase a horse.  

With a divorce seemingly on its way and cheating allegations being whispered by unnamed sources, fans have been eagerly awaiting a public comment from Britney Spears. The Princess Of Pop, however, has proven over the last few years that she’ll only comment on stories she feels like commenting on, and she once again reminded fans of that yesterday when, instead of providing an update on her marriage to Sam Asghari, she dropped an Instagram post about her desire to buy a horse.

She’s a big fan of horses and even posted a video once with a caption saying she prefers them to people. She’s also dropped other pictures of her riding horses in the past, one of which she reposted for last night’s update, which let fans know she’s buying one, maybe two horses soon, and she already has the names picked out. It remains to be seen what the next steps are for Britney Spears in her quest to buy a horse. She certainly wouldn’t be the first affluent person to buy one in the wake of a divorce, but as that sorta thing is outside the life possibilities for most of us, I hope she keeps fans updated throughout the entire process. I’d love weekly videos of her feeding the horse, working with trainers and in a perfect world, entering the horse into various races. Can you imagine Britney as an owner at The Kentucky Derby? You know her hat would be fantastic.

As for all the divorce drama, it’s a weird situation because no one involved has spoken publicly; yet, there are stories about the alleged break-up everywhere. After months of relationship problem rumors, Sam Asghari reportedly moved out of the house last week following a big, blow-up fight and officially filed for divorce yesterday. The story a bunch of outlets are repeating is that he accused the pop star of cheating on him, but it’s unclear whether there’s any truth to those allegations. Both sides have reportedly obtained attorneys, and there are already whispers that he might be trying to fight the prenup. Some sources are claiming he’s even threatening to reveal information about their relationship and Spears if his demands aren’t met, which sounds a lot like blackmail. None of that has been confirmed, however.

Far too much of what’s being reported is based on the speculation of unnamed sources; so, I’m going to hold off on commenting about what is true or isn’t true or who might be in the right or wrong. Instead, all I will say is that I hope Spears comes out of this with a new support system that can help her on her post conservatorship journey. She’s given fans so much joy over the years. Hopefully she’s able to get the resources that’ll help her find joy and stability for the rest of her life, whether that be by reconnecting with some of her family members or in some other way.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have arguably been one of the most widely covered celebrity couples in all of Hollywood. The two became acquainted back in 2016, and public interest in them has arguably only increased since they married in the summer of 2022. While their relationship has apparently been filled with its share of ups and downs, they’ve apparently been able to stick it out. However, a report now claims Spears and Asghari are heading for divorce. Not only that, but the split is alleged to have been initiated by an argument about cheating. 

It was purportedly Sam Asghari who approached Britney Spears about rumors of  infidelity about a week ago, according to TMZ. While the cheating reports cannot be verified at this time, it would seem that the 29-year-old model and actor was under the impression that the allegations were true. As a result, he allegedly opted to move out of the home he shares with the 41-year-old pop singer and has been living in his own place. Reps for both stars have not commented on the matter as of this writing.

To be absolutely clear, no divorce petition has been filed at this time, as far as we know. Insiders claim, though, that “it's only a matter of time before” the “Toxic” singer’s husband moves forward with the necessary legal proceedings. This purported situation comes on the heels of claims that the couple’s relationship has been in “deep trouble” for a while now. Per TMZ, the pair have engaged in some alleged verbal disputes as of late.

The two entertainers met in 2016, when Britney Spears tapped Sam Asghari to appear in the music video for her single “Slumber Party.” They eventually became engaged in September 2021 and ultimately tied the knot in June 2022 amid a star-studded wedding. (Spears herself later released footage from the affair.) As man and wife, they’ve shared some sweet moments together, from living it up on a two-week yacht honeymoon to celebrating each other’s birthdays in cake-smashing fashion. The lovers have also been by each other's sides during tough times, such as when Spears suffered a miscarriage in 2022.

They’ve also received attention for not-so-positive reasons, as previously alluded to. For instance, earlier this year, they made headlines after Sam Asghari was seen storming out of a restaurant, seemingly leaving his wife. He later explained that he was only getting his car so that they could leave, since his spouse was receiving a lot of unwelcome attention at the time. Negative rumors have also swirled around them, as some have held the belief that Asghari has been controlling the Grammy winner’s social media accounts since her conservatorship ended. Asghari eventually addressed her protective fans, asserting that his wife “has her voice and is a free woman.”

Months ago, they were subject to marital rumors after they were both spotted without their rings while on vacation. A rep for Mr. Asghari later responded, saying that his client didn’t have his jewelry because he was filming a movie at that time. His wife’s team didn’t respond right away but, at that point, there was no true concrete evidence that they were on the outs.

There are a number of unknown variables within this reported divorce situation, so we can only take it with a grain of salt, for now. The public will have to wait and see whether either Britney Spears or Sam Asghari opt to release any kind of statement that clarifies the state of their marriage. 

While movie theaters around the country are building on the success of Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie’s Barbie, another super-famous and influential blonde pop culture starlet is also set to take over the zeitgeist. No, I’m not talking about Guy Fieri (or Ryan Gosling). I’m referring to Britney Spears, whose impending memoir The Woman In Me is set to hit bookshelves and online retailers this fall. Fans are anticipating a lot of mud-slinging and truth-telling to play out in the tell-all, which could feasibly be reason for her husband Sam Asghari to worry, given all the drama that could come out of it. But he’s reportedly feeling highly positive about the upcoming release.

Asghari wisely made the choice long ago in his relationship with Spears to be very measured and meticulous when speaking publicly about her and their relationship, as not to get his words twisted (as well as not to invite the masses to go down that inquisitive road). But according to an insider who spoke with Entertainment Tonight, the actor is pumped for the pop star to have the chance to share her story in full through the memoir. According to the source: 

Considering Britney Spears is somewhat commonly known to go on confusing social media sprees that sometimes have her showing off bikinis, and sometimes have her railing on various family members or media tabloids, the idea of her being completely unfiltered and uncensored is somewhat daunting. There’s even the question of how unfiltered it will actually be, since its release was allegedly pushed over the inclusion of illicit affairs with other celebs, with other reports claiming she was having to fight behind the scenes to keep the publisher from chopping out other admissions.

Whether or not the editing process has anything to do with Sam Asghari’s reportedly positive vibes, it doesn’t seem to matter. He’s apparently feeling relieved that the memoir is locked in for a release, and hopes it lifts some of the mental weight that she’s been carrying. In the insider’s words:

Britney Spears and *NSYNC were two of the biggest names in pop music at the turn of the 21st century, and especially given the “Toxic” singer’s three-year relationship with Justin Timberlake, it’s no surprise that she formed friendships with the other members of the group. At least one of those bonds still seems to be intact two decades later, as Spears met up with Lance Bass and met his children for the first time. She even shared photos of the epic reunion, calling herself the twins’ “auntie!” 

Former boy-bander Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin welcomed twins Violet Betty and Alexander James in October 2021 via surrogate, and Britney Spears looked absolutely thrilled to meet the brother-sister tag team, sharing on Twitter:

The “Oops… I Did It Again” singer took a turn holding each baby, as she stood with Lance Bass  — whose floral shirt complemented Britney Spears’ own flower-print top — and her husband Sam Asghari. Big smiles were plastered on the faces of the couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary amidst rumors about their marriage, while Bass looked every bit the proud papa. It’s just too bad Michael Turchin wasn’t able to join in the reunion.

Lance Bass and his husband were married in 2014, after the *NSYNC member surprised his boyfriend with a proposal a year earlier. The surrogacy process was a long one for the Turchin-Bass family, as they went through multiple donors over a period of four years before Violet and Alexander entered the world.

It turns out Britney Spears’ meeting with the twins was also a long time in the making. Lance Bass had said on his Frosted Tips podcast (via Page Six) that the pop princess had contacted him after the twins’ arrival. At the time she was still under her 13-year conservatorship, and her handlers put a “stop” to the meeting, Bass said, and he didn’t hear from her again. The On the Line actor said at the time:

A date night between Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari in Las Vegas on Wednesday night went awry when an alleged assault occurred and a police report followed. Spears reportedly spotted French NBA star Victor Wembanyama while out and about and hoped to say hello before the head of his security team struck her down. Following recent word of what went down, both Spears and Asghari have released public statements. 

First, Asghari, whom the pop star married in what she called a “magical fairytale” wedding last summer, took to his Instagram Stories to share his thoughts on the situation. In his words: 

The model and fitness trainer is standing up and speaking out amidst the incident, and Britney Spears put out a statement of her own. Here’s what she wrote, in part, referring to her past allegations against her family by saying that “traumatic experiences are not new.” Take a look: 

According to Spears, what sounds like an innocent attempt to link up with 19-year-old Victor Wembanyama became one of “violence.” The singer's complete statement was posted on Instagram below: 

As Britney Spears shared, she finds the story “super embarrassing” to share with the public, but ultimately she decided that it’s “important” to speak out about the topic and “urge” celebrities like Victor Wembanyama to make it a priority to treat others with “respect.” What allegedly happened to Spears could have happened to a fan of Wembanyama, or could regularly occur. However, Spears has the platform and notoriety to advocate for the situation in ways others cannot. 

In the statement, Spears also shared that she had yet to hear from Wembanyama, his security, or another organization. She also claimed that Wembanyama smiled and laughed as she nearly fell to the ground, which she called “demoralizing.” Spears took some time to thank the Las Vegas Police Department as the incident reportedly is leading to a criminal investigation that authorities are taking very seriously. 

Victor Wembanyama is a newcomer to the NBA, recently being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the first overall pick of the 2023 season. With the recruitment on the books, he has become the first French player to be drafted in that distinction. 

Britney Spears definitely has one of the most “interesting” social media presences, as the pop star uses Instagram to share a plethora of content, from cheeky bikini beach pics to shower videos. She also uses it as a space in which she can share personal thoughts on her life, career and society as a whole. Spears’ updates can be pretty delightful, and that’s definitely the case on the rare occasion that her husband, Sam Asghari, is involved. Just recently, the couple had a particularly funny exchange, which interestingly involved none other than Brad Pitt. 

The 41-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a photo of Brad Pitt, one that’s certainly a blast from the past. In the classic snapshot, the A-lister sports long locks and a beard and appears to be at a premiere of some sort. So you may be wondering: Why did the Princess of Pop decide to share this classic image? Well, she was using it to best describe how one of her uncles looked when she was younger. This, on the whole, was meant to help illustrate how “beautiful” her relatives were years ago: 

She then proceeded to discuss how during one instance of potty training, she cut herself due to a crack in her mini toilet. On the surface, this may seem like a random memory, but for the Grammy winner, it appears to be a warm one. Speaking of warmth, some folks in the comments seemed to be getting a little hot and bothered by the sight of a younger Brad Pitt. That is, except for Sam Asghari, though. The actor chimed in on the post with a funny comment:

This is a playful little jab on the Black Monday alum’s part and, to be honest, I think a number of guys would have a comment or two if their spouse was posting about another man. But again, this is all in good fun, and fans seem to be living for the message. It has over 3,500 likes and a plethora of replies. 

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari may rarely interact or appear on social media together yet, when they do, the result is usually a sweet sight to behold. For example, in February, Spears posted a loving Valentine’s Day tribute to her man, though she later deleted it. The songstress shared a particularly sweet video clip the following month that showed her smashing a cake in Asghari’s face for his birthday. Asghari, for his part, shared a rare post of him and Spears in May (which a psychologist claimed was a bad omen.)

A lot has been said about Britney Spears’ social media tendencies at this point. A number of people have expressed particular concern regarding whether she’s fully in control of her accounts in the aftermath of her conservatorship ending. Sam Asghari has since shot down theories about her not being able to share her own updates. As the public continues to speculate on that front, from the outside looking in, the spouses seem to still be enjoying marital bliss with each other. I’d expect more intriguing posts from Spears and, who knows, maybe one or two others may involve Brad Pitt as well.

One of the notable things that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have in common are their love of pets. While Spears has a whole passel of pets, there are two dogs she got with her husband, Porsha and Sawyer. Recently, her partner was out and about on a hiking adventure and he brought the cute pups along for the hike. Obviously, the views were stunning – and I’m not just talking about canine companions. 

This week, the model and actor took a hike with his two adorable dogs. It’s unclear exactly where the hike was located, but he currently lives in Thousand Oaks, California with the “Toxic” singer after the couple left their Calabasas home and returned to a place she liked better. The area is fairly hilly like the pictures portray. But really, who cares about where the hike happened? I’m really only here for the pictures of the puppers, including one of Sam and Porsha being adorable together. 

A second clip used Porsha in frame to show off another gorgeous view. Porsha is a Doberman that came into their lives back in October of 2021, and a pup who has been in the news before after infamously escaping Britney Spears' home. You can see the full landscape in the background and it is (predictably) gorgeous. 

Further images also showed Sawyer along with the actor on the hike. Sawyer joined the family a bit later than Porsha. The Australian Shepherd was reportedly brought home last year, in February of 2022.   

Sawyer and Porsha aren't Spears' only pets. The singer also has a Maltese named Lacey Loo Spears and a cat named Wendy. Her pups, past and present, are also periodically in the news. Earlier this year Ms. Spears actually bought one of her dogs expensive booty shorts to the tune of $1,200 dollars. 

The hiking post comes after there have been rumors of trouble in paradise between Spears and Asghari recently. He attempted to assuage those rumors with another post of himself and his wife hiking a few weeks ago, though a psychologist took the video of Spears and Asghari hiking together as bad news. In general, he's kept cool despite the commentary, but he did take a second to address the rumors about alleged relationship strife just a few days ago noting he has "respect" for his wife's "privacy" and that most of the rumors that have run around are, in fact, inaccurate. 

He and his wife have generally been heavily in the spotlight since the release of Framing Britney Spears in 2021 shone a spotlight on her then-conservatorship. Luckily it looks like the couple have some beautiful views and some canine companions to help make things better when annoyances arise. 

Britney Spears, and by extension, her husband Sam Asghari, seem to always be in the middle of some kind of rumor. Whether it be about substance abuse or relationship drama or even innocuous things like dinners out, there’s always something. Typically they run their course for a week or two and then as it’s going away, we get another one. Over the last week, however, that steady stream of gossip has turned into a waterfall, as new allegations have been dropping almost every day.

Those allegations, which have acted as teasers for a Fox documentary airing on Monday that’s produced by TMZ, have been coming out over the last week or so, and they’ve touched on a wide variety of issues from Britney Spears’ alleged knife fascination to supposedly staying up for days to marriage problems. All of those allegations hitting at once have resulted in way more noise than usual to the point where Sam Asghari actually responded on Instagram. He later deleted the video, but since everything is permanent on the internet, it has still been making the rounds.

Spears and Asghari usually don’t address the allegations against them, but given how loud things have gotten, it’s not a surprise the latter decided to put his foot down. It’s also not a surprise he blasted the media for talking about the pop star and not letting her speak for herself. Here’s a portion of his quote…

Asghari also told people not to believe everything they read. He said ninety-nine percent of the rumors out there about Spears and their relationship are clickbait that are just designed to make money. He said the gaslighting needs to stop.

It’s easy to see why Asghari is so frustrated. Apart from the occasional vacation or dinner out, Spears doesn’t seem to leave the house a ton. She’s certainly not partying up a storm at the hottest clubs or causing problems with the law. And yet, the amount of negative press she receives, often for things like racy pictures, is on par and often surpasses celebrities who recklessly cause messes and create drama on the regular. There’s no way that isn’t incredibly frustrating.

The rumors about potential marriage problems between Spears and Asghari started long before this documentary, and the whispers will likely continue long after this documentary airs. Ultimately, none of us know what’s going on that aren’t involved in the relationship. Maybe it means something when they’re photographed without their wedding bands on. Maybe it doesn’t. Maybe it means something that she went on vacation without him. Maybe it doesn’t. Regardless, it’s nice to see Asghari stick up for his wife. Here’s to hoping they can continue to find ways to connect and make each other happy, no matter what the rumors say.  

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have been under intense media scrutiny lately — even more than usual — after what appeared to be a restaurant storm-out and a reported failed intervention for the pop legend earlier this year. More recently fans seem to be focused only on the couple’s ring fingers, as each were photographed in past months without their wedding bands. It should make fans pretty happy, then, to see a rare photo of the two together pop up on the trainer-turned-actor’s Instagram page, right? Maybe not, as a psychologist is weighing in on the post, and she sees more sinister forces at play.

Sam Asghari, who married Britney Spears in a fairytale wedding last June, shared a post showing two short videos of the couple posing in front of beautiful scenery. The wind blows around the couple, as Spears gets in close to her husband, which you can see below: 

With the couple just weeks away from celebrating their first anniversary, they appear happy as can be while hiking amid the picturesque backdrops. Psychologist Jo Hemmings, however, doesn’t think the pic signifies what Sam Asghari hopes it does. She thinks the couple is on the verge of a breakup, and the former dancer may be trying to boost his image in the public eye before that happens. She told The Sun: 

The psychologist cites the social media accounts of Britney Spears’ husband — where he posts images from photo shoots, workouts and movie sets, along with sharing motivational messages — as proof that he is “covering all his bases” by toggling between humble and braggadocious in the event of a split. Jo Hammings continued: 

It doesn’t appear that this psychologist knows the “Baby One More Time” singer or Sam Asghari personally, so her opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. It seems like these two might be in an impossible situation with their critics, where a lack of pics of the husband and wife together would indicate trouble in paradise, but happy pics are only seen as an effort to bolster their public image. How can they win?

Several explanations have been offered for the gossip surrounding the couple. Sam Asghari had a different take from the media on the restaurant storm-out situation, as he described the “disrespectful” behavior of people filming Britney Spears while she was trying to enjoy a meal. He also said the reason he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring was because he was shooting a movie — which was also why he couldn’t join his wife on her vacation with manager and longtime friend Cade Hudson.

People are going to believe what they want about the couple, but hopefully everyone is able to remember that Brit-Brit’s well-being is what matters most in her post-conservatorship life. That’s especially true amid her ongoing troubled relationship with the rest of the Spears family, and only time will tell what’s in store for the “Hold Me Closer” singer’s marriage. 

Britney Spears has been on an Instagram tear lately. The pop star has dropped five posts this weekend, three of which have more than a hundred thousand likes. Unfortunately, because she’s Britney Spears and people can’t just enjoy her dancing to Cyndi Lauper with a super fun pink dress on, the takeaway for many has been yet another conversation about alleged marriage problems and why she’s not rocking her wedding ring. Rumors. Rumors. Rumors.

Before we get into the actual posts in question, it would probably be helpful to have a little backstory for those of you who don’t follow every single whisper about Britney Spears. The legend has been photographed several times over the past few weeks without her wedding ring on, as has her husband Sam Asghari. This has led to a bunch of stories about how there’s allegedly trouble in paradise, given the ring situation and that she recently went on vacation without her husband. 

Recently, Asghari addressed the wedding ring situation and said he only had it off because he’s been filming a movie role in which he couldn’t wear the ring. He's also been spotted recently with the ring very much on, but that hasn't stopped everyone from pretending to be an expert, especially because Spears was photographed a few times on her vacation without her ring on, which brings us to this weekend when she dropped a lovely video of her rocking out to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." She looks like she's having the best time in her short pink dress with full sleeves, but given she's without a wedding ring, it got the rumor mill churning again. How anyone wants to look at this video and see anything other than a music legend having a delightful time is beyond me, but if you look closely, she doesn't seem to be wearing her ring in the video. To some, that's obviously a sign that sky is falling and the marriage must be speeding toward a divorce, but in all fairness, not everyone is a ring on 100% of the time person. Plenty of people take it off to exercise or swim or just go about their lives. Some couples don't even wear wedding rings at all. 

But even if you're on team the wedding ring does matter, there was plenty of evidence this weekend that things are okay. The singer dropped four other posts on social media over the past two days. One of them is a gorgeous beach shot. One of them is a spectacular video of horses in the ocean, and in the other two that actually feature her, she's wearing her wedding ring. One includes Spears dancing inside her house in a white crop top and pink swimsuit bottoms, and the other, seen below, shows her dancing outside and includes a caption about spring. At one point, she very clearly even shows her hands to the camera and looks like she's intentionally flashing the wedding ring. Check it out...

I'm not going to pretend to know what's going on with Britney Spears and Sam Asghari. Maybe there really are some problems there, maybe there are not. I don't think any of us really know, and given how tight the pop star keeps her inner circle, I'm not sure anyone speculating really knows either. 

So, I'm just going to focus on what I do know, and that's that it is wonderful to see Spears continue to express herself so openly on social media and in her personal life. Since the conservatorship ended, she has gotten a chance to try so many things she wasn't able to before and start experiencing life in a very different way. I'm happy for her, no matter where that road leads. With a ring, without a ring, what I care about is her smiling while dancing away to Cyndi Lauper. Keep doing you, Britney!

Married couple Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are fully aware of the continuous speculation that surrounds their relationship. Though much has been said about the two since their “fairytale” wedding in June 2022, they seem to be going strong. Some, however, suggested that there might be cause for concern, as both were spotted without their rings as of late. And around that same time, rumors began to crop up about Asghari and Spears allegedly having marital problems. Asghari shot down the claims and, now, photos of the actor sporting the jewelry seem to further prove that there’s nothing to the speculation. 

Photographers captured photos of Sam Asghari this past Friday, and the snapshots may indeed finally put these marital strife rumors to rest. In the images, which were obtained by Hollywood Life, Asghari’s ring is clearly in sight. Given how prominent it is, one can’t help but wonder if Asghari made an effort to get the ring in view once the cameras started snapping. That’s just a bit of speculation on my part, of course. 

At the end of March, onlookers noticed that the Hot Seat alum was without his ring and, after rumors started to swirl, his rep, Brandon Cohen, released a statement on his behalf. According to Cohen, his client had only taken the accessory off briefly because he was in the middle of shooting a movie. Sometime later, the star himself responded to the buzz by posting a photo to his Instagram stories. You can also see another pic, which was taken on April 2, in which he clearly has it on his finger:

Britney Spears, meanwhile, was seen not wearing her jewelry while on vacation with her manager, Cade Hudson. As of this writing, Spears’ reps haven’t addressed her reason for not having it on. However, it’s worth noting that her hubby has occasionally gone without his band over the past several months. So it’s possible that the two lovers are simply used to not sporting them all the time.

In terms of the claims surrounding their marriage, many have pointed to Britney Spears’ social media presence as a source of contention between them. Sam Asghari has been open about the fact that he would prefer his wife not post nude pics, yet he says that he wouldn’t try to stop her from doing so. Still, rumors have persisted about him allegedly controlling the pop star’s accounts in the aftermath of her conservatorship. Asghari denied those conspiracy theories and has maintained that his wife is a “free woman.” Despite all of the assumptions though, he seems to appreciate that the fans are so protective of Spears.

Amid the flurry of attention that they receive, the couple seem to have a lot of fun together. They’ve shared some sweet social media posts of one another, with one of the most recent being a video that shows the “Womanizer” singer humorously smashing a cake into her husband’s face for his birthday. The famous pair could also end up working together at some point, as Sam Asghari wants to make a movie with his lover.

While his reason for not wearing it this time around can seemingly be chalked up to his work, it would appear that he simply goes ringless quite often.

One of the more recent instances of that was in January, after Britney Spears allegedly had a “manic” episode while the pair were at a restaurant. At the time, bystanders claimed that Asghari stormed out, leaving his wife on her own. He later responded to the accusations, saying that he actually went to get the car so that he and Spears could leave the premises. 

There have also been rumors floating around that Sam Asghari, who has been honest about his wife’s viral posts, is controlling her social media accounts. Asghari eventually shot down the conspiracy theories, musing that he doesn’t “even control what we have for dinner.” He’s also addressed her “protective fans,” assuring them that the “Toxic” singer is a “free woman” following the end of her conservatorship. 

Aside from the barrage of reports, the pair have shared some truly sweet moments together. Just recently, Britney Spears celebrated her husband’s birthday, ringing in his 29th year by playfully smashing a cake in his face. Her spouse, for his part, seems eager for what lies ahead for them. And if he gets his way, he and Spears could end up making a movie together.

Lately it’s her marriage to Sam Asghari that fans are concerned about, as Spears hit the beach in a cheeky bikini with manager Cade Hudson. And after the singer and her husband of 10 months were both seen without their wedding rings, that speculation only continues to grow.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the “Hold Me Closer” singer appeared without her wedding band as she exited a vehicle to board a private plane on March 28. Her bare finger can also be seen in one of the videos she posted to Instagram of her and Cade Hudson striking some poses and being silly on the plane: 

Comments have been disabled from Brit Brit’s Instagram, so there’s no diving into all of the theories about why she’s vacationing with her longtime friend and not her husband, and all of the different reasons why she might have left her wedding ring behind. Only adding fuel to the fire was that the Daily Mail also reported that Sam Asghari was photographed running errands on March 30 without his wedding band.

This is not the first time Britney Spears’ husband has faced questions from fans about not wearing a ring, and from his own Instagram posts it seems like going ringless might be a normal practice for him. 

These photos definitely aren’t definitive proof that there’s trouble in paradise for the longtime couple less than a year after their fairytale wedding. However, Britney Spears’ vacation sans Sam Asghari comes after some seemingly worrisome moments over the past couple of months. 

There were reports in February that the fitness trainer was among loved ones who had scheduled an intervention for the singer to help with a substance abuse issue but that it did not go over as planned. That followed an incident in January, when she was seen on video storming out of a restaurant (though that was probably not unwarranted) and another occurrence in December, when Britney Spears became furious with a Jack in the Box worker who tried to console her when she cried in the drive-thru. 

Sam Asghari and Britney did seem to be pretty loved up on his birthday earlier in March, however, when the “Toxic” singer smashed a cake into her husband’s face, and he has consistently defended his wife’s actions — even when he doesn’t agree with them — complimented her talents and dispeled conspiracy theories.

While we love to see Britney Spears living her best life on the beach, her fans certainly hope she is also happy in her marriage, and only time will tell if the couple really is in a rough patch or not.

Model and fitness trainer Sam Asghari has been trying to break out in the acting world for some time now and while he hasn’t yet become the next big action star, he’s been slowly adding to his resume. For many, he is still likely most famous for being Mr. Britney Spears, who has done a couple of movies herself in the past, and it sounds like Asghari would love to make a movie with his wife. Which sounds incredible, even if it’s unlikely to ever happen.

Asghari was leaving LAX after returning from a film he’s currently shooting, something that’s being kept under wraps, when he was approached by TMZ. The photographer suggested that he and Britney should make a movie together, and he thought that was actually a pretty good idea, saying…

The initial pitch from the photog was that Sam and Britney should do a rom-com together, which I suppose makes some sense. One assumes that being a couple gives them some natural chemistry. But Asghari suggests they could do an action film together. He is working on a lot of his own stunt work and says Britney, being athletic as well, would likely be good in an action movie.

Britney Spears hasn’t done a lot of acting in her career. While many singers have transitioned to acting, some remarkably successfully, it doesn't seem like it was something Britney loved that much to pursue. She’s more likely to play herself on screen than she is to actually portray a character. 

Sam Asghari is fairly new to the industry as well. The roles he’s been playing have been on the smaller side so far, but everybody has to start somewhere. But honestly, Britney Spears is still Britney Spears; she's incredibly popular and if she wanted to make a movie there would likely be a studio willing to make that happen. And if she wanted to make an action movie with her husband we’d probably get exactly that.

Having said that, any Britney fans looking forward to this movie should probably temper expectations. Britney has largely remained out of the limelight even after being able to get free of conservatorship. While Spears is active on social media and that has been her primary portal for connecting with fans. When Spears is out in public things can get wild. It seems unlikely she’d be that interested in making a movie.

But who wouldn’t want to see what kind of movie that would be? Is there a chance it would be terrible? Sure. But there’s honestly just as much chance it would be great. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious just what this hypothetical movie would look like.

There never seems to be a dull moment in the life of Britney Spears, and by proxy, the same is likely true for her husband of nine months, Sam Asghari. The couple has certainly experienced a lot together, particularly in the past year, as the pop princess continues to explore life after conservatorship. Spears has a unique way of always keeping her fans on their toes, with her silly social media activity, and it looks like she was able to catch Asghari off-guard as well, as she posted a video of her smashing a cake into her husband’s face as they celebrated his 29th birthday.

Britney Spears shared a black-and-white video to her Instagram Stories that showed what appeared to be a low-key get-together for Sam Asghari’s birthday on March 3. The former dancer seemed to be enjoying his own slice of cake, when the “Baby One More Time” singer came in for the attack, which can be seen below: 

Sam Asghari didn’t seem put off at all by his wife’s prank, as Britney Spears raised her arms in victory and said, “Happy Birthday, baby.” With frosting still on his face and in his beard, he laughed along with the others who were there, thanking her and digging back into his cake.

There’s no question that Britney Spears can bring the fun to the party, but she also showed off her sweet side too, posting to Instagram a series of photos of her and Sam Asghari, with the caption, “Happy Birthday 🎂!!! I love you so much and hope you get all your birthday wishes and more 🌹 !!!” 

The couple seemed to be channeling their inner Kravis, with the open-mouth tongue kiss a la Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, and other photos showed them taking silly selfies, cuddling on a plane and posing in front of a picturesque background. 

Sam Asghari thanked everyone for the birthday well-wishes on his own Instagram Stories, and said he’s excited about what “the big 2-9” will bring. While he and Britney Spears have shared lots of sweet moments in their first year as a married couple — including the simple moments like Asghari driving around listening to his wife’s duet with Elton John — it hasn’t all been easy. The fitness trainer has had to fight conspiracy theories about Spears’ health and assure fans that she is in full control of her life, following reports of a failed intervention.

Since a judge declared an end to her 13-year conservatorship in late 2021, Britney Spears has found more independence, and she seems to do what she wants, even if it might not be what her husband prefers. She posted a simple “oh well” when adorning an outfit she said Sam Asghari hates, and Asghari said that even though he personally preferred she wouldn’t post nude photos to social media, he refused to try to control her.

Hopefully this year brings more fun times and laughter for the couple, as they approach the one-year anniversary of their fairytale wedding.

The pop star is dealing with (more) dog troubles after a pup given to her by husband Sam Asghari got loose, and animal control ended up getting involved. 

Why Did Animal Control Get Involved In Britney Spears’ Latest Dog Situation?

Britney Spears is the owner of several canines, including a doberman named Porsha. Sources tell TMZ that the pooch wandered around Spears and Sam Ashghari’s Thousand Oaks neighborhood after somehow escaping the property this past Thursday. It’s said that the dog eventually came across a man riding his bike. The individual, who’s in his 70s, reportedly got off his cycle before the dog bit him in the leg. Shortly after, a member of Spears’ security team arrived on the scene to get a hold of the animal. 

Per the news outlet, the man who was bitten subsequently got his injury treated at an Urgent Care. Additional sources also claim that he only got a “nip” from the dog as opposed to a full-blown bite. Nevertheless, the songstress allegedly got a call from animal control in the aftermath. The public service entity reportedly suggested that the 41-year-old star and her hubby take measures to ensure that their pet doesn’t get away from the premises again. 

There’s no information regarding how the “...Baby One More Time” singer responded to the call. However, one would think that she and her husband would prefer that none of their fur babies get away from the property. Porsha, like her other pets, seems to be very special to her and, as noted by TMZ, she posted about the dog after Sam Asghari gifted it to her in October 2021. (Ironically, at the time, she shared a video in which she stated that the dog would be trained to protect.) The hound’s arrival actually came shortly after another canine-related situation for Spears.

Two Of Britney Spears Dogs Seemingly Went Missing At One Point 

In August 2021, it was reported that Britney Spears and her housekeeper had reportedly gotten into an altercation regarding two of her dogs. And early that month, the pooches apparently disappeared. At the time, Spears was under the impression that her father, Jamie (who oversaw her dissolved conservatorship), was somehow responsible. But in actuality, that wasn’t the true cause. 

Per reports, the dogs were taken away by a dog-sitter and housekeeper after they expressed concern about the animals’ health. News outlets like Page Six alleged that the canines were not being treated well and were near death when they were taken to the vet. Apparently, the sitter just hadn’t returned the pups but eventually did so by the end of that August.

It’s likely that with this latest situation now seemingly resolved, Britney Spears will get back to her social media hijinks. One would assume that she and Sam Asghari will be sure to keep a closer eye on Porsha and their other dogs unless they want further dealings with animal control.

Love was certainly in the air this past week, with many celebrating Valentine’s Day. As you would imagine, a lot of that romance seeped right into social media, as users posted about their holiday activities and paid tribute to their lovers. Celebrities got in on the festivities, posting some incredibly sweet and sometimes funny messages. Britney Spears was among those to share thoughts, as she penned a tribute to husband Sam Asghari following the cancelation of a rumored intervention. Interestingly though, Spears has since deleted the tribute.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari, who were wed in June 2022,  posted several tributes to each other to mark the holiday but, right now, some are probably scratching their heads about why a certain one was scrapped. In an Instagram post (captured by The Blast), Spears shared a throwback image of her and Asghari cuddling up in Maui. She also shared an enthusiastic caption in which she said, “I love you so much baby !!! Your B-day is coming soon !!!” It’s no surprise that the sweet post garnered some attention, though it’s still shocking that it was taken down after what seems to have been only a few hours.

What’s even more interesting is that another message – that’s also since been deleted – took its place sometime later. The “Circus” singer’s post featured a pink background with one of her personal quotes in white text. And for the caption, the songstress merely stated, “I guess I am one to hang with !!!” and added a rose emoji. The quote itself reads as follows:

Bystanders also claimed that Asghari stormed out, leaving his partner during her purported episode. When addressing the claims, he explained that he simply went to fetch their car so that they could leave the premises. He’s also had to shoot down intervention rumors aimed at Spears.

Rumors have also been circulating over the past several months, as some have speculated that the entertainer is now controlling his wife’s social media accounts following the end of her conservatorship. The Dollface actor, who’s spoken about his wife’s nude photos before, has since addressed the “protective fans,” declaring that the entertainer “has her voice and is a free woman.”

Thinking about all of that, I’d wager that Sam Asghari relished his drive and the sweet views and tunes that accompanied it. We’d all do well to take a page out of his book and take some time to relax when possible.

Around the time Britney Spears was posting an angry rebuttal on Instagram, saying the allegations made her “sick to her stomach”, Asghari was walking the red carpet for the premiere of Star Trek: Picard. Yesterday, TMZ posted a story claiming Asghari, her manager and more people close to her rented a house and hired an interventionist to try to push her into treatment. The plan was reportedly for her to stay in the rented house for a few months to get treatment for substance abuse issues and mental health struggles. But she was allegedly tipped off to the plan, and it was cancelled. People Magazine ran a similar story with additional quotes from alleged insiders and claimed Spears met with a doctor on Wednesday after the intervention was cancelled.

So, given all that happened yesterday, some fans were a bit surprised to see Sam Asghari walking the red carpet at the Star Trek event. He seemed to be in good spirits, at least based on what was posted to social media, and his various posts completely ignored any of the rumored issues. There are, of course, a lot of interpretations for that, however. Britney Spears is often the subject of rumors, and I would imagine if he cancelled his plans every time it happened, he’d have trouble doing anything.

Still, it should be noted that the gravity of the allegations here are more serious than the typical fights with her family or wild rumors about her living situation. TMZ doubled down this morning, even after Spears’ denials, and published numerous quotes from various unnamed sources talking about how worried they are and how they wish the intervention would have happened. 

As with most things related to Britney Spears, people are going to believe what they want, especially when there’s not any public confirmation of anything going on. Here’s to hoping it all works out for the best, whatever that might be.

She reportedly caught on to what was happening, and the intervention never happened.

All of this is coming from a report this morning by TMZ. The outlet claims there has been increasing concern from Spears’ camp about substance abuse issues. She’s allegedly been taking medication that “hype her up” and has not been taking the medication that stabilizes her. Their sources claim this has led to “erratic” and “volatile” behavior that has been causing increased concern. One source in regular contact with the singer apparently said they were concerned she was going to die.

The original plan was reportedly for those close to her (not including her father and children) to speak with her inside a house her manager rented. They reportedly hired an interventionist and were going to try to convince her to get help. The reports allege it was going to happen on Tuesday, and those involved would have asked her to live in the house her manger rented with professional help for a few months. She reportedly became aware of what was happening prior to the meeting, however. Instead, she reportedly met with a doctor on Wednesday. A source apparently said it went well, but it’s unclear what that means or what the next steps might be.

Following some mental health issues and a few involuntary commitments in the late ‘00s, Britney Spears was placed under a conservatorship run by her father back in 2008. Following the release of a documentary and a new found public awareness of some of the consequences of that conservatorship, Spears was freed to live her own life and make her own choices. She’s talked openly about enjoying the freedom that came with being able to drive, drink alcohol and use ATMs, among other things. She also married longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. 

Some fans and observers, however, have questioned some of her behavior over the last year. She regularly criticized her parents and the conservatorship on social media, making allegations about things that happened and the time she lost. She also posted NSFW photos on a semi-regular basis, which reportedly caused problems with her children who allegedly asked her to stop. She also had some unusual encounters with the general public, and more recently, she was also accused of storming out of a restaurant and acting “manic” after some people at a nearby table started filming her.

No one involved in this rumored intervention has spoken on the record, and details on what exactly happened and where things might go from here are very unclear. For now, everything should be treated as an unsubstantiated rumor. Hopefully, whatever is going on, Britney Spears is able to find a path that leads to a healthy and fulfilling life of happiness. The name-change post was probably very surprising to those who’ve faithfully followed the star. She made the reveal in a shower video that showed her holding her boobs and made note of the alleged change in a pretty matter-of-fact manner. It remains to be seen whether the change is legitimate or not as paperwork of such a legal change has yet to come to light.

It’s fair to say that content is going to keep flowing from Britney (or possibly Brooklyn) Spears’ socials, and some may continue to have questions regardless of Sam Asghari’s declarations. All eyes will more than likely continue to be on both of them as social media posts continue to get published.
