Candace Cameron Bure has apparently had beef with several notable stars over the last several years for varying reasons. She was called out by JoJo Siwa due to a supposed encounter the two once had, and Bure has even seemingly clashed with former Full House co-star Jodie Sweetin. (On the latter front, it seems that the two now disagree on the drag performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games). Now, Bure has been called out by yet another star, and it’s none other than Vanderpump Rules cast member Scheana Shay.

What Did Scheana Shay Have To Say About Candace Cameron Bure?

The 39-year-old Bravo alum claimed during an episode of her Scheananigans podcast that the Hallmark-turned-GAF star wasn’t all that kind when they crossed paths years ago. Scheana Shay discussed the run-in with co-host Kiki Monique after talking about the fallout from the Olympics opening ceremony, which Candace Cameron Bure found “disgusting.” Shay went on to explain what brought her into the former child star’s orbit and how their meeting supposedly went down:

The reality TV veteran’s comments (which can be heard on YouTube) suggest that her meeting with the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries star left a bad taste in her mouth. It was apparently bad enough that it discouraged the VP star from watching Ms. Bure’s hit sitcom:

As of this writing, Candace Cameron Bure has yet to respond to Scheana Shay’s claims, and one has to wonder whether the two might link up to discuss the matter. That could surely be a possibility, especially since Bure previously touched base with JoJo Siwa during their reported tiff.

How Did JoJo Siwa Come Into Conflict With Candace Cameron Bure?

In a TikTok video posted back in July 2022, JoJo Siwa quickly slammed Candace Cameron Bure, not-so-subtly referring to her as the “rudest celebrity” she’d encountered. The former Nickelodeon star didn’t provide any context for that designation at the time. Shortly after, though, Bure revealed that she’d connected with Siwa and explained that the singer’s viewpoint stemmed from a moment at the Fuller House premiere. It was at that time that Bure supposedly dissed Siwa by not taking a photo with her as the then 11-year-old actress had asked. With that, the two seemingly patched everything up, though a little bit of drama persisted.

Natasha Bure, Candace’s daughter, clapped back at the “Guilty Pleasure” singer’s remarks. The younger Bure opined in the eventually deleted post that “someone saying no to taking a photo with you is not a 'rough experience.’” She also declared that the J Team star should “grow up.” While everything still seemed to be smooth sailing between Candace and JoJo Siwa, they became embroiled in another squabble after the former said that GAF’s content would put “traditional marriage” at the core of its storytelling. Siwa, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, dropped an F-bomb while sharing thoughts on the matter. And she would later receive support from Jodie Sweetin, and that move reportedly put Sweetin herself at odds with Bure.

As for the situation involving Scheana Shay, it should be noted that no one else has backed up her comments about Candace Cameron Bure. Whether someone steps forward to corroborate or dispute the Vanderpump Rules star’s account remains to be seen.

Some people are simply made to be reality TV stars, and if one opportunity doesn’t work out, they move on to the next. That seems to be the case for OG Vanderpump Rules cast member Kristen Doute, who recently revealed that she was approached to appear on The Bachelor before becoming a Bravolebrity. Why did she turn them down? It turns out Tom Sandoval was involved in her decision.

Kristen Doute rejoined the reality landscape this year on the Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, after she and other castmates were fired from the flagship show after Season 8. Things could have played out quite differently for her, though, had she not been dating Tom Sandoval when ABC’s producers found her bartending at SUR. On her podcast Balancing Act, she said: 

Well, Kristen Doute and Tom Sandoval certainly weren’t forever. The two had been dating for years and were even living together before Vanderpump Rules premiered in 2013, but they broke up in Season 2, with Sandoval eventually moving on with Ariana Madix (and we all know how that relationship turned out).

Who knows how Bachelor Nation’s history would have been altered if Kristen Doute had chosen to appear as one of the women on The Bachelor? Would she have gone on to be The Bachelorette? How would Tom Sandoval’s journey on Vanderpump Rules have played out differently? If only we had access to that alternate reality! 

So would The Valley star have gone on The Bachelor if she hadn’t been in a relationship at the time? She mused: 

Joe Amabile, aka Bachelor Nation’s “Grocery Store Joe,” was a guest on the podcast, and he confirmed that only the leads get paid on The Bachelor/Bachelorette, so it’s possible that Kristen Doute would have turned down the opportunity for that reason.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has been in rocky waters since the day it premiered on the 2024 TV schedule, which left audiences with mixed thoughts. The season did not get better as time went on; in fact, it somehow got worse. However, as a diehard fan of the Bravo series, I have never been more frustrated than I was watching the conclusion to the three-part reunion special. 

This season has been a comedy of errors thanks to the show wrongly assuming that fans would be open to a Tom Sandoval redemption arc in the wake of last season’s cheating scandal. Instead of the show focusing on more interesting storylines, fans sat through episode after episode of cast members like Lala Kent and Scheana Shay coming around to Sandoval despite what he did to their best friend and coworker. To make matters even worse, the season ended with a fourth wall break that saw the two cast members badmouthing Ariana Madix, who opted to walk out instead of continuing to film with her ex.

I, like many fans, was eager to see how everyone would react to that moment after it was revealed that the footage would be shared with the cast during the final part of the reunion special. As gut-wrenching as it was, it was almost cathartic to see Madix realize how toxic her so-called friends have been to her. Unfortunately, not even that watershed moment kept me from feeling anything but frustrated when the show ended because of countless other things that happened over the course of the hour-long finale. 

Lala Seemingly Trying To Produce Storylines While Playing The Victim 

Lala Kent seemed to forget her role as a cast member this season and gave herself an unofficial promotion to producer status, which only led her to become this season's villain. It was clear all season as she routinely tried to get Madix to sit down with Sandoval, but it became undeniable in the season finale when she went off on the Love Island USA host for storming out of the party and accusing her of “becoming God” in the wake of the cheating scandal. 

Naturally, Kent jumped to the defensive when the footage was shared at the reunion. She tried to justify her outburst by saying she was frustrated because Madix's leaving jeopardized her position on the show and the paycheck she used to support her growing family. However, her “poor me” victimhood isn’t easy to get behind, considering she’s been manipulating the cast and attempting to do the same with fans, like in part one of the reunion where she tried to get them to turn on Katie for an off-camera conversation she had about Madix. 

Tom Sandoval Getting His Moment With The Audience 

When Ariana Madix left the party in the finale, she took the opportunity for Tom Sandoval to give a fake apology to her in the hopes of winning over the fans. That should have been the end of it, but instead, Sandoval used the shared footage in part three of the reunion to get the moment that was stolen from him. 

It was incredibly frustrating to watch because fans know that it was a bogus move in an attempt to make himself look good. Honestly, I’m madder that producers kept it in and actually thought the fans would excuse his behavior and his snide comment in the footage where he’s heard saying Madix leaving is “good for me” by shedding a few crocodile tears. Do they think we’re that stupid? 

Scheana Ignoring Ariana’s Pain To Defend Lala 

Scheana Shay and Madix have been best friends since the show began, and the latter regularly comes to her defense when the other girls have issues with her. That entire friendship was thrown out the window this season when Scheana decided to mend bridges with Sandoval and turn against her so-called bestie. 

Fans have speculated all season that Scheana had replaced Madix with Kent in terms of her best friend hierarchy, and part three of the reunion proved that. In a scene that wasn’t supposed to make it to air, Scheana can be seen running to Kent’s aid after the footage was shown to ask what she could say to make it better instead of going to comfort Madix, who was visibly shaken and upset after learning her friends had been talking behind her back. 

Not only does it prove that Scheana isn’t a great friend, but it also goes back to my initial point of frustration that Kent has been trying to produce the season the entire time. Why else would Scheana feel compelled to ask what she can say when they start filming again if not to protect the contrite narrative the two of them built for themselves? 

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has been one of the most unbearable seasons to watch, so much so that I and many others hope that it’s the final season for the once-popular Bravo reality show. If you don’t mind shouting at your television screen, you can stream the entire season with a Peacock subscription. 

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has been anything but perfect. The season premiered with mixed reviews from longtime fans and has since isolated a lot of them by trying to redeem Tom Sandoval in the wake of his cheating scandal. As the show heads into the final episode of the season next week, I’m starting to think that this will be the last time we catch up with the former SUR staff, and honestly, I’d be happy about it. 

Unlike The Real Housewives franchise, which Vanderpump Rules is considered a spin-off of, the hit Bravo series revolved around the young staff members at Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR Restaurant and Lounge in West Hollywood, California. At the time, the cast was in their twenties, working bartending and serving jobs while dreaming about making it in show business and dealing with relationship drama as they all seemingly dated each other. 

Since then, the show has grown and evolved alongside its cast. Though many of them are now successful business owners and parents, the drama has only gotten worse. Instead of throwing drinks at each other in the ally of SUR only to make up days later, they’re caught up in messy business partnerships, divorces between cast members, and perhaps the cheating scandal of the decade. 

It used to be fun watching the drama unfold while trying to guess who this season’s Vanderpump Rules villain would be, but now that a majority of the cast is well into adulthood, it all feels a bit childish. The housewives might be able to get away with it, but fans like myself are getting tired of the same old drama being brought up over and over again. Not to mention, the original premise of the show no longer makes sense since none of them work at SUR, nor are they big names in show business aside from appearing on the reality show. 

Reality stars becoming too big to continue appearing on a show in the same capacity is the catch-22 of the genre. However, instead of reinventing itself or bringing in a new group of servers and waiters to carry on the legacy, Vanderpump Rules has continued to focus on the same core group for over a decade. Honestly, had it not been for the cheating scandal that rocked Season 10, I think that would have been the show’s last season. 

Now, I’ve been a fan of reality TV long enough to know that an emotional montage moment usually means things are ending. That fact, coupled with Ariana Madix’s taking over Sarah Hyland's hosting duties on Love Island, USA, and the news that the series would not be filming this summer as it has for the last decade, has me pretty convinced that it's not coming back. Some fans may disagree, but I do think it’s time we say goodbye to this group. 

They’ve exhausted all storylines that make sense for the show. And judging by their individual social media accounts, it doesn’t seem like most of the cast are actually on speaking terms right now. Not to mention, Bravo’s new show The Valley would be the perfect home for some of the cast who are looking to continue their career in reality TV — like Lala Kent and Scheana Shay, who appeared to use this season as their audition for the new show. 

With a hiatus happening and the cast focusing on other projects, the only way I see the show coming back is if they totally reboot it like Bravo did with The Real Housewives of New York City by bringing on an entirely new cast. They could even move the show to Las Vegas and follow the employees at one of Vanderpump’s many locations there. 

While we wait for official word on the status of Vanderpump Rules, fans can relive the drama by streaming all eleven seasons with a Peacock subscription. It’s no secret that Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent and Katie Maloney have always butted heads. When the soon-to-be mother of two first joined the show, Maloney regularly called her out for keeping secrets regarding her relationship with Randall  Emmet from the friend group and from the producers of the show. Now, it seems like the roles have switched as Kent accused the sandwich shop owner of doing the same thing this season as it pertained to her business relationship with Ariana Madix, and fans are not happy about it. 

What Happened Between Lala Kent And Katie Maloney

Towards the end of part one of the three-part reunion special that aired on Tuesday as part of the 2024 TV schedule, Kent turned her high-horse, preaching antics on Maloney. She said she didn’t film any of her genuine reactions to the success Madix has found in the wake of the Tom Sandoval cheating scandal that may have caused delays in the opening of their sandwich shop. She went as far as to disclose a private conversation Maloney had with her, in which she vented about her frustrations. 

In return, the reality star admitted that she did confide in Kent to vent her frustrations, but only because she didn’t want to guilt Madix into turning down the amazing opportunities she was being offered. To further explain herself, Maloney took to her Instagram to share the following note to her story: 

While fans appreciate the more in-depth explanation of her actions, they don’t need it. Her actions were completely justified and something many have done in their own life to protect relationships with other friends. 

How The Fans Responded

The realness of the entire thing has only made fans rally around Maloney more than they already have been this season. For example, this person posted:

Even Madix understood Maloney’s decisions and didn’t seem upset with the revelation, which proves how strong of a friendship the two have. 

In trying to make herself more likable to fans, Kent proved that not only is she the biggest villain of Season 11, but also that she’s not that great of a friend if she’s willing to talk publically about private conversations she’s had. One viewer made that take clear when they posted:

Kent then doubled down on the entire interaction, mocking the sandwich shop her so-called friends have been working hard to get open. That move certainly didn’t win her any points with fans; in fact, many saw it as a laughable moment since Kent couldn’t even come up with another hurtful nickname reusing one she originated during the Vanderpump Rules after-show, making it seem rehearsed. 

Kent even went as far as to say that Maloney refusing to talk about her feelings on camera may have jeopardized the status of the reality show that helps her provide for her family. 

Vanderpump Rules fans, like the one below, disagree with this take and instead have been quick to blame the show’s summer filming hiatus on the two-faced actions that Kent displayed this season. In trying to act as a producer for her fellow cast mates, she managed to ruin the show for some. 

Instead of jumping on the Sandoval redemption arc train, Kent would have earned a lot more love from fans had she been able to share more about what was going on in her own life (like her fertility journey). Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, and a once fan-favorite cast member has found herself reckoning with being one of the most disliked people on the reality show while continuing to throw her "friends" under the bus any chance she gets. 

The status of Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules is still up in the air as filming will not resume this summer as it has for the last decade. However, there are still two parts left of the Season 11 reunion that are sure to bring more explosive arguments to life. After an explosive Season 10, the Bravo reality series began filming Season 11 three months after the reunion in the hopes of capturing the aftermath of the Tom Sandoval cheating scandal. Instead of allowing the drama to play out organically and letting fans watch the cast work through their residual issues revolving around the affair, producers seemed keen on pushing a redemption arc for Sandoval. Thankfully Vanderpump Rules are smarter than that and didn’t fall victim to the desperate attempt. 

Rather than focusing on any of the other stories going on in the cast's lives (like Kent’s fertility journey), the producers continued to push this redemption arc which quickly began to aggravate the very fanbase that made the show a hit. I didn’t think things could get any worse but then the finale aired and we witnessed Madix get ambushed by her coworkers and producers who were desperate to get her to sit down with her ex. Thankfully, the new Love Island USA host (taking over for Sarah Hyland) refused, later saying in her confessional: 

I think Madix is so right, but that didn’t stop all hell from breaking loose when she walked out of the party without compromising her morals. Sandoval threw a temper tantrum which encouraged both Scheana Shay and Lala Kent to air their frustrations with how the Dancing with the Stars contestant handled this season. 

Watching it all go down was almost as sickening as the initial cheating scandal news. With so many people quick to turn against women who get cheated on, I was worried that fans were going to see the last few minutes and realize that Sandoval did deserve some slack. Thankfully, that was not the case. In fact, his little outburst that ended with him saying that he loved the drama and that “it’s good for me” only made fans hate him even more. 

After eleven years of watching the group interact with each other, there is no fooling the diehard fans. Social media was immediately flooded with comments going off on not just Sandoval, but also Shay and Kent for their misguided loyalties and blatant hypocrisy. Take a look: 

• Lala hates Ariana. Tom Sandoval is a narcissist, a cheating, lying, narcissist. Tom Schwartz is pathetic, but not as pathetic as Scheana. Brock is trash. Katie and Ariana are the only real and loyal ones and I’m so happy they’re thriving now they’ve dumped the Tom’s #PumpRules - @djpisces_
• Lala’s ending rant is so full of hatred and hypocrisy. “You have to be truthful even when it’s uncomfortable” says the woman who hid her boyfriend for YEARS and physically threatened anyone who brought him up. #VanderpumpRules #pumprules - @TheBravoWatcher
• The season finale ending with Sandoval saying he loves it and it looks good for him that Scheana and Lala are turning on Ariana, genuinely makes me sick to my stomach. Screw all these people. #pumprules - @thatbmyopinion

While it’s easy to blame the cast for the actions (and we absolutely should hold them accountable) I feel the producers really are the ones to blame here. X User @mmmcintyre said it best, tweeting: 

Here’s the thing, this isn’t the first cheating scandal that has threatened this group. But it’s the one that could have changed the way they navigate things like this. For years, Vanderpump Rules has let the men get away with everything. Jax Taylor was allowed to cheat left and right without consequences, Tom Schwartz has played up his quirky personality to get away with his own allegations, and now Sandoval is trying to do the same thing by buying his way back into the group. 

Season 11 could have been the one that changed everything. The one that let the women hold these men accountable for their despicable actions. Instead, we witnessed Kent become the season’s villain championing a man who ruined her friend’s life, despite knowing all too well what it feels like to be in that position with her ex Randall. 

Thankfully, Madix had some people in her corner like Katie Maloney and occasionally James Kennedy. But even with those strong allies, it wasn’t enough to get the producers to fully back off. It’ll be interesting to see how the reunion pans out considering it’s already being described as explosive. 

As big of a Vanderpump Rules fan as I am, I really hope this is the final season of the show with this cast. Madix deserves better than to be gaslit into believing her cheating ex is a good person and the fans deserve to be treated as intelligent viewers instead of ones who would fall for a lame redemption arc.

Now that we're halfway through Season 11, Vanderpump Rules fans' mixed feelings are turning to annoyance. It’s no surprise everything opened with the aftermath of Tom Sandoval's cheating scandal during his relationship with longtime partner Ariana Madix, Specifically, how the various cast members were dealing with things months after Season 10 wrapped filming.

To be fair, this season had some interesting moments at the start, with fan theories over who would become the new villain making their rounds on social media — early votes were on Lala Kent but Scheana Shay seems to be in the race now — and many agreeing Ann the assistant was a favorite. However, we're getting tired of the producers trying to get us to come around to Sandoval again like the rest of the cast, and I wish they’d stop giving him more attention and instead focus their energy on some of the other cast members.

After all, there’s plenty going on in the personal lives of the Vanderpump Rules stars that would make much better television. So let's discuss...

Lala Kent’s Fertility Journey 

Kent made headlines when she posted an Instagram picture showing off her pregnant belly. Several “Bravolebrities” took to the comments to shower the soon-to-be mother of two with praise and support. Back in Season 10, the reality star opened up about her desire to have another child, and it seems she’s gone ahead with her fertility journey via a donor. 

In a teaser for the rest of Season 11, Kent is seen discussing her plans with Lisa Vanderpump, who has mixed feelings about the process. While this snippet is a good sign that the show will feature at least part of the complicated emotions, it does have fans wondering why this wasn’t an A-tier story the producers were following from the very beginning. 

Not only would it have been an interesting journey to track over the long haul, but it would also shed some light on the trials and tribulations that go on with conceiving a child via donor — something that is not talked about nearly enough in the mainstream media.

The Family Dynamics Between Scheana, Brock, And Her Mom 

At the start of Season 11, there was clear tension between Brock, Scheana and her mother regarding the parenting of their daughter. To put it simply, Scheana has anxiety when it comes to leaving her daughter with anyone who is not blood-related to her and Brock has a problem with that, especially since her mom has an injury now that prevents her from holding Summer. However, much of that tension has taken a backseat now that the actress/singer is seemingly having to pick sides between Ariana and Tom now that she’s starting to feel bad for the latter.  

Never one to shy away from the spotlight, it’s no surprise that Scheana has made the “Scandoval” about her. It’s a move that seems to be backfiring though, as more and more fans speak out against her. Had she stuck to letting the cameras follow her mom's anxiety journey, and learning how to express her concerns with her husband, fans might have been cheering her on instead of rooting against her. 

Katie And Ariana’s Sandwich Shop Journey 

At its core Vanderpump Rules was a show about young people who worked in the restaurant industry while trying to pursue their dreams. Over the years that premise has shifted as the cast got too famous to work at SUR. However, most of the stars continued to find ways to stay close to their restaurant roots. Nearly three seasons were dedicated to Sandoval and Tom Schwart as they entered business with the Vanderpumps and then later decided to open their own bar. I can’t even count how many times we heard and saw them struggle with Schwartz & Sandy’s over the years. 

Unfortunately, that same attention has never been given to Katie Maloney and Madix’s journey to open their sandwich shop Something About Her. Sure, we’ve heard brief conversations and witnessed an awkward interview montage but that’s it.

Where is the episode that follows them shopping for the dishes and furniture like Maloney talked about? Or the episode where they show the progress to Vanderpump and get her opinion? When the Toms were in the early stages, that’s all we ever heard about, and yet the producers don’t seem to care about the ladies’ journey to becoming business owners, and it’s a shame. 

Hopefully, things will shift away from the Sandoval redemption show and Vanderpump Rules will remember that it’s a show about everyone’s lives and not just one scandal. With half a season left, there’s definitely still time to turn the sinking ship around — at least I certainly hope that’s what happens. Last week, Rachel (formally Raquel) Leviss broke her silence over the “Scandoval” by filing lawsuits against Tom Sandoval, whom she had an affair with, and Ariana Madix. A few days later, another Vanderpump Rules alumni couple, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, made headlines announcing their own separation weeks before their new show -- The Valley -- is set to premiere, giving fans whiplash and mixed feelings.

What's Going On With Jax Taylor And Brittany Cartwright's Relationship?

For context, Jax Taylor was previously an original member of Vanderpump Rules gladly left the show with his estranged spouse in 2020. However, much of their relationship was captured on the series, from their tumultuous early days where Taylor’s infidelity nearly ended their relationship to happier moments like the couple’s gorgeous wedding in 2019. Since leaving TV, they’ve created several businesses and hosted a joint podcast. They're also the proud parents to a two-year-old boy. 

Brittany Cartwright broke the news of their separation late last week on the couple’s  podcast, When Reality Hit. She kept things short, letting fans know:

The confusing narrative around their living and relationship situation, coupled with the timeline of the separation comes just weeks before their new reality series The Valley airs on Bravo. With that, some fans are seemingly climbing on board the conspiracy theory train once again. The most popular theory is that it is all a PR stunt to get viewers to tune in on March 19th. One user on X said:

In other words, whatever drama is playing out now likely will not air on the show -- unless the producers call for shooting to resume as was the case for Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules. Regardless of what is or isn’t going on behind closed doors, a young child is caught in the middle of the drama, and a couple is seemingly go through a tough time right now. With that, I just hope everything works out for all parties involved.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is in full swing on the 2024 TV schedule, and it continues to follow the aftermath of Tom Sandoval cheating on his longtime partner Ariana Madix. Unlike the Season 10 finale where tensions were through the roof, things have calmed down a bit as the cast has either sided with Ariana or Tom. Unfortunately, alliances amongst this friend group never last, and this week’s episode was proof of that. Thankfully, the fans are sticking by Madix’s side, despite the mixed feelings they had at the start of the season.

Last week, Lisa Vanderpump met with Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, and Scheana Shay to discuss their treatment of Sandoval as of late. The restauranteur detailed her worries over Sandoval’s mental health and implored them to be kinder to him. While the ladies weren’t so quick to buy into Lisa Vanderpump’s words, they did agree to go to Lake Tahoe with him, setting the scene for this week’s episode. 

This week’s episode was largely set up for next week, but the foundation is being laid for the gang, minus Madix and Katie Maloney who sat this vacation out, to forgive Sandoval for some of his wrongdoings. It’s bad enough that this episode featured Scheana and her husband seemingly being cordial with Sandoval, but a teaser for next week implicates her even further, showing her FaceTiming with Madix to tell her that she “can’t keep being angry for her.” 

Joining in on the apparent Sandoval forgiveness train is James Kennedy, who agreed to set their differences aside for the sake of the vacation. Despite early fan fears that Lala Kent would be the new villain of the season, it seems that she’s redeemed herself slightly because she rolled her eyes at the TV personality’s ability to blame all of them for what he’s gone through in the last year instead of taking a look in the mirror. 

While several Vanderpump Rules cast members might be starting to come around to Sandoval and his slew of lies, diehard fans aren’t so quick to forgive. In fact, many are sick and tired of him and want him removed from the show. 

Unfortunately, the likelihood of him being removed is slim to none. After all, Jax Taylor managed to stay on the show for years despite his deplorable antics. So, it’s safe to say we’re all going to be stuck rolling our eyes whenever Sandoval is on screen, including this fan:

Here’s the thing, fans might have been able to forgive him had he shown an ounce of remorse or regret in the months since the ‘Scandoval” news broke. Even an actual apology would suffice instead of the fake ones he's been giving. However, he’s doubled down every chance he’s gotten, leaving many fans, like this one, with no choice but to cast him aside as a lost cause. 

Besides, it’s not the cheating and months of lying that fans have a problem with. It’s the added fact that for the entirety of Season 10, he weaponized Madix’s mental health against her in the hopes of skewing the fans’ opinions of her so when he did leave her for Raquel Leviss all would be forgiven. Now, he’s trying to blame her for his own mental health struggles. Overall, the fans aren't having it:

There’s no doubt that the cheating scandal helped Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules break all sorts of reality TV records, but all those gains are going to be for nothing as more and more fans turn off the show because of Sandoval’s actions. Fans might not be outright saying they’re going to stop tuning in, but their tweets definitely hint at that being the case:

When it comes to many reality TV shows, there's usually a specified "villain" in a given season. Sometimes it’s far-fetched and overproduced, like how the last season of RHOBH attempted to turn fans against Heather DeBrow but only made people like her more). Then, at other times, there are events to back up the moniker, like Tom Sandoval’s spiral into villain-hood last season on Vanderpump Rules when he cheated on his girlfriend Ariana Madix with her best friend. While it seemed like Sandoval would retain his reign as the villain on the hit Bravo series for Season 11, fans are starting to think that Lala Kent might be taking over that post.

While only two new episodes have aired so far, fans have already started speculating online about Lala Kent's supposed villainous turn. It wouldn’t be the first time the TV personality found herself on the wrong side of the equation, having previously been the antagonist when she originally joined the series.  Since then, she’s put in major work to become friends with a majority of her cast members, but all of that may be for not if she continues on the path she’s traveling down. 

Vanderpump Rules fans might have mixed feelings about Season 11, but one point they seem to be in agreement on is that the media personality is definitely in the running to take over Scandoval’s reign. Let's talk about why that is.

Lala Kent Reached Out To Ousted Cast Member Raquel Leviss

Lala Kent has always made it clear that she’s never been a fan of Raquel Leviss. The two were constantly at odds when the former was dating James Kennedy, and the situation didn’t get much better when they broke off their engagement. When the “Scandoval” news broke, Kent was a fierce advocate for Ariana Madix and laid into Leviss during the tumultuous reunion. 

However, three months after filming wrapped on Season 10, the Give Them Lala podcast host, seems to be singing a different tune. The first episode of Season 11 featured the single mom speaking with Lisa Vanderpump about her remorse for how harshly she and the others treated the former cast member. She went as far as saying that she sympathized with her because she knows what it’s like to be labeled a mistress. After the conversation, Kent took things a step farther and left her ex-co-star a voicemail apologizing and encouraging her to reach out if she wanted to talk. 

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Lala Kent even defended Raquel Leviss' actions to Ariana Madix and their other friends, by trying to equate her own relationship missteps to Leviss'. Of course, the ladies weren’t having it and neither were the fans who were left confused as they watched Kent have a total change of heart regarding Leviss. 

She Critizied Ariana’s Inability To Move On 

In addition to supporting the woman who slept with her best friend’s life partner of nearly a decade, the media personality also had fans questioning her loyalties to Ariana Madix in the second episode of the season. During a one-on-one lunch date, she began to question why Madix is making things more difficult for herself by not moving out of the house she owns with her ex.

On top of that, she also disagrees with Ariana Madix's belief that she has the power to control what Tom Sandoval does at their house and who gets to interact with him in their friend group. Admittedly, that's interesting coming from the woman who was ready to commit crimes against anyone who even looked in the direction of her ex-husband, Randall Emmett, who she broke up with after he cheated on her.

There’s An Unsavory Quote In The Trailer That Has Fans On Edge 

Even before all of this was revealed, fans were worried about where Lala Kent was going to fall in the Ariana/Tom split. At the end of the Season 11 trailer (which is on YouTube), she has a conversation with Scheana Shay and says: 

While it’s not a mean statement at face value, Lala Kent’s delivery and the fact that she has already begun to move away from Ariana Madix has many fearing that this could signal that she’s about to switch sides. Loyal fans of Vanderpump Rules probably won’t be too surprised by the sudden shift though since Kent has always towed the line on whether or not she’s a “girls-girl.” 

With only two seasons currently on air, there’s still time for her to redeem herself and be the ally most fans are rooting for her to become. Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen. Given the absolute fervor that surrounded the so-called Scandoval — the shocking news that Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval was cheating on his nearly decade-long partner Ariana Madix with their friend and fellow castmate Raquel Leviss — it seems only natural that the Bravo powers that be would want to continue filming every juicy moment of drama between these people. However, the network changed its mind, it didn't start immediately filming, and now we know why. 

Word dropped at the tail end of Season 10 that Sandoval and Leviss had been "communicating inappropriately for months." So, filming quickly resumed after the season had already wrapped to capture the fallout of the cheating scandal and the dissolution of Tom's relationship with Ariana, a production move that was controversial amongst viewers. Though that decision clearly worked for the reality series — that finale episode drew in a record-breaking 4.1 million viewers — it wasn't one the producers chose to replicate going into Season 11. This time, they decided to give the series and its castmates a minute to breathe before diving back into filming for their episodes on the 2024 TV schedule. Vanderpump Rules executive producer Alex Baskin broke down this choice with THR explaining: 

The post-finale cast reunion, which aired in three parts on Bravo, was a particularly intense and emotional showing from the Vanderpump crew. Plus, it was complicated by the fact that Leviss had filed a restraining order against castmate Scheana Shay following an alleged physical altercation between the two women. 

Baskin said that the atmosphere at the reunion was too "white hot" to pick up filming directly after. He also noted that the three-month reprieve in between production was necessary both for the show and its stars: 

During that three-month break, producers were in negotiations with Raquel Leviss to return to the show. (Both Sandoval and Madix are back as main cast members for Season 11.) Leviss, who sought out mental health treatment following the events of Season 10 and the inevitable public backlash that it prompted, chose not to return to the reality series for its eleventh edition.

Baskin noted that though there was a lot of "waffling and wavering" about Leviss' potential return, the main concern for all involved was "her mental health": 

Baskin is referencing Leviss' tell-all appearance on the podcast of another Bravo-elebrity, former The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel. Rather than return to the reality series, the Pump Rules star shockingly aired out all of her dirty laundry on Just B with Bethenny Frankel.

Despite the absence of Leviss in the new episodes, Baskin proclaims that Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is a "worthy successor to last season":

He also discussed how everything went down with Leviss after the fact.

VR’s Producer Gets Honest About How The Series Handled The Infamous Cheating Scandal

The cheating situation came to light in March 2023, at which point it was reported that then-39-year-old and then-28-year-old Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss had been “communicating inappropriately” for months. By the time this all happened, the show (which can be streamed with a Peacock subscription) had wrapped on Season 11. All that was left to film was the reunion special. However, in a surprising move, the producers opted to shoot an additional installment in order to record the fallout nearly in real time. This decision was chastised by a number of fans and pundits. 

Alex Baskin is no stranger to the world of reality TV, as he’s held producing duties on plenty of notable programs, from The Real Housewives of Orange County to Botched. The veteran EP spoke with the LA Times about the decisions that were made amid Vanderpump Rules Season 11. He revealed that there were indeed discussion about whether the creative team should break away from tradition and produce another episode: 

He went on to tell the news outlet that he has no qualms about what was eventually decided upon and doesn’t concur with the backlash. For the Hills: New Beginnings alum, it made a lot of sense to commence with production for one key reason:

Regardless of how you feel about the actual exploits being filmed, it’s hard to disagree with the notion that everything that ultimately played out on screen was incredibly visceral. There are, of course, a number of variables to take into account when something like that happens. In this case, a decision also had to be made about Raquel Leviss’ future with the program. And, based on what Alex Baskin had to say about that, it wasn’t exactly a cake walk.

How Did Negotiations About Raquel Leviss’ Future On Vanderpump Rules Play Out?

Raquel Leviss joined VR as a guest star during the fifth season, before recurring on the series from Seasons 6 through 8. She eventually became a main cast member at the beginning of Season 9 – a post she’d maintain until her exit after the tenth. It goes without saying that Leviss was in an “interesting” position after Scandoval, which is why the producers had to have some complex discussions with her team and her personally. Alex Baskin described those chats as follows:

Of course, in a matter like this, it’s pretty much a given that money would be a factor. It’s also interesting that a development deal was even proposed. Still, it was ultimately decided that the two sides would simply part ways. Since then, Raquel Leviss has launched her own podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, on which she’s discussed her career and the fallout from her reality TV exit.

When it comes to Tom Sandoval, he broke his silence on the scandal shortly after it was reported and shared his regrets. He also apologized to ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, who remains on the show alongside him. I’m not sure there’s ever been any reality TV-related drama that’s been quite as polarizing as Scandoval, and I can’t say for sure whether we’ll ever see anything else like it.

Many of us have our favorite eateries and food-producing entities and, because of that, it can be quite devastating whenever one closes down. That’s what a lot of people are feeling right now in the aftermath of a notable bakery’s decision to close its doors. The L.A.-based Sweet Lady Jane confirmed that it’s officially gone out of business. In the aftermath of the announcement, stars like Blake Lively and Sophia Bush are sharing this disappointment. But Tom Sandoval of Vanderpump Rules had different feelings and didn’t hold them back.

What Exactly Is Sweet Lady Jane, And Why Are Celebrities Upset About Its Closure?

As mentioned by Sweet Lady Jane’s official website, the bakery was founded by Jane Lockhart and opened in Melrose in 1988. In the years that followed, the establishment grew in popularity and became a staple of the California community. The dessert shop was arguably most famous for its cakes but also its pies, cookies and tarts. Much of the offerings were fruit-infused, including the famous Triple Berry Cake. The store’s high status is what put it on the radar of notable celebrities. Once the closure news was made public, a number of them took to the comments to share their thoughts. It’s clear to see by the responses above that plenty of stars as well as a host of non-famous fans are going to miss this neighborhood institution. That doesn’t seem to be the case with everyone, though. The previously mentioned Bravo star doesn’t seem all that unhappy, and there’s a specific reason for that.

Why Did Tom Sandoval Throw Shade At Sweet Lady Jane’s After It Went Out Of Business?

Tom Sandoval made headlines in a big way in 2023 amid the infamous reality TV-related scandal known as “Scandoval.” It was revealed that the Vanderpump Rules star cheated on co-star and longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with her best friend/fellow co-star Raquel Leviss. A considerable number of fans and notable media personalities took the entrepreneur to task for his actions, even after Sandoval broke his silence on the situation. Among those to chastise him were Sweet Lady Jane, which shared the following post last spring: 

The Internet doesn’t forget, however, and that rings true for stars of the long-running Bravo series as well. Series alum Billie Lee spotted the closure announcement and tagged Tom Sandoval in a post, posing the question “karma?!” Sandoval then responded, saying:

Well, tell us how you really feel. That may sound harsh but, of course, he is entitled to his opinions. It also sounds like he’s over all the flak he received. Tom Sandoval’s relationship with Raquel Leviss was highly analyzed after the affair came out. Some later noticed that Sandoval and Leviss wore matching necklaces for months. Sandoval eventually apologized to Ariana Madix, while Leviss apologized for her actions as well and later opted to leave the hit show.

Presently, though, Tom Sandoval seems to be a relative outlier when it comes to those who have feelings on the demise of Sweet Lady Jane. It really looks like Blake Lively, Sophia Bush and so many more are going to miss the location and the baked goods it produced for so many years.

Tom Schwartz had a rough run on Stars On Mars, but despite nearly being kicked out of the Hab weeks earlier for miscounting barrels, he held on. Unfortunately, his "Bottom Three Energy" worked against him in the double elimination, and he was sent packing alongside comedian Natasha Leggero. Though he didn't make it to the end, the Vanderpump Rules vet told CinemaBlend he loved the experience and felt like it was a "cosmic intervention" given all that was happening in his life at the time. 

Those who watched Stars On Mars may be aware that Schwartz started the show in the middle of the "Scandoval" drama, which impacted him and his friend, Tom Sandoval. I told Schwartz we didn't have to touch on any of that drama but did wonder if he enjoyed the chance to do a bizarre show at a time when that chaos was unfolding:

Tom Schwartz talked on Stars On Mars about how he was going through a divorce, which was with his now ex-wife Katie Maloney. Dealing with that on top of all the Vanderpump Rules drama would be a lot to handle, so perhaps, in hindsight, one could see how his head wasn't completely in the game at all times. 

Fortunately, Stars On Mars ended up being exactly what Tom Schwartz needed. Schwartz noted to CinemaBlend that he liked being put in an immersive environment that took him out of his element and made him feel like he was on Mars. Overall, it was a nice break from the things he had going on in his day-to-day life, and as he explained, it helped him find his way a little bit: 

Tom Schwartz also confirmed to CinemaBlend that the production team did the best it could to try and make it as much like simulated life on Mars as possible. That said, he also said he'd get the occasional chance to step outside of the Hab and not die immediately. Schwartz was ultimately happy to "get back to Earth" when it was over but happy for the time he got to step away from it. 

And while Vanderpump Rules drama may continue in 2023 and beyond, he'll still have his time with William Shatner giving him missions on a video screen to look back on. We'll have to see which of the remaining contestants will make it to the end and if they'll have as positive an outlook about the experience as Tom Schwartz did.

Update: Some additional information has come to light and, it turns out the issue at hand was not pregnancy, but safety restraints. A Universal Studio Hollywood spokesperson has explained that Stassi Schroeder's pregnancy prevented the safety bar on the attraction from fully engaging, and that was why she was unable to ride, not simply because she was pregnant. Theme parks are fun and exciting places but some attractions are so thrilling that they are literally not for the faint of heart. If you have a heart condition or are pregnant, it’s not recommended that you ride roller coasters or other attractions that include a lot of sudden stops or drops. Former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder knows that Universal Studios Hollywood is serious about this as she was recently removed from a ride because she was pregnant. But he wasn’t riding Revenge of the Mummy, she was booted from one of the park's newest rides Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash.

Stassi Schroeder took to Instagram and showed her honest embarrassment when she admitted that the Secret Life of Pets dark ride had to be stopped so that she could be taken off of it due to being pregnant. It’s a bit surprising considering that, as she says, it’s not exactly a major thrill ride.

To be sure, if you look at the safety guidelines documents for Universal Studios Hollywood, for Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, it says that expectant mothers are not allowed to ride. But honestly, as somebody who has ridden the attraction more than once, I cannot fathom why the rules are quite so strict. Secret Life of Pets is a simple dark ride on a slow-moving vehicle. It does rotate as well as move forward, but it does that just as slowly. There are no sharp turns or drops, it's about as low impact as you can get.

It would be one thing if Schroeder had been unable to ride Off the Leash while pregnant because she simply didn't fit in it, as the ride vehicles are not very big. Universal Parks have been criticized before for a lack of accessibility for larger guests, and Off the Leash has been singled out in that regard, but that’s not what is happening here. 

Universal Studios Hollywood takes a much harder line on this than other theme parks. At nearby Disneyland Resort, none of the dark rides have a similar advisory. You can ride Snow White’s Enchanted Wish or Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride while pregnant. What’s more, Disneyland lists their policy as an advisory, saying that expectant mothers should not ride roller coasters or other thrill rides, but the language indicates they won’t stop you. Universal’s language states that expectant mothers are “not allowed” on the specified attractions, thus Shroeder being removed once it was realized there was a pregnant woman on the ride. 

Upon review, expectant mothers don’t have a lot they can do at Universal Studios Hollywood, the only attractions that don’t have the same rule regarding pregnancy. are the Silly Swirly Fun Ride, a Dumbo style flying carousel, the Super Silly Fun Land, a playground area meant for younger kids and the Waterworld stunt show.

Nobody wants anything bad to happen to pregnant women at a theme park, which is why these rules exist and why they can be enforced with zero tolerance. At the same time, this does seem like a ride where the policy may not need to be enforced quite so harshly.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is among the new Marvel movies of the year. It was released in theaters last weekend to high acclaim from audiences and critics alike. It could very well be the final outing for Karen Gillan’s Nebula, whom she debuted as in the first Guardians movie back in 2014. Considering the actress has been going blue in the makeup chair for the likes of a decade, when the series first began, I’d imagine she’s all caught up in the reality series for a long time. 

As the movie hit theaters this past week, Karen Gillan revealed she once went to couples therapy in full Nebula makeup due to crossing wires with her appointment and filming schedule. As we perhaps say goodbye to these beloved Marvel characters (with the exception of the legendary Star-Lord officially set to return) James Gunn brought to life with the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, it’s fun to hear about the behind the scenes of it all. It sounds like Karen Gillan found a way to make the many hours in the makeup chair a blast for herself. 

Vanderpump Rules has always been known to deliver the drama to its loyal Bravo audience in its decade on the air, but Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ scandal took things to a whole new level. Back in March it was revealed that Sandoval had been cheating on Ariana Madix, his partner of nine years, with castmate Raquel Leviss. Both members have apologized to Ariana Madix, after it was proven Sandoval had been cheating with his co-star for months. Restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump told Variety she was “basically having a bloody heart attack” when she found out, and she put the scandal into the context of another popular TV show, saying:

So, according to the TMZ report, the reunion’s production team will separate Raquel Leviss and Scheana Shay by keping Shay in her trailer and watching a live feed of what’s happening with the rest of the cast. The tables then turn and Leviss will head to her trailer when Shay joins her co-stars to guarantee the legally-required separation. Although Bravo didn’t comment on exactly how it will work, the network’s Twitter account posted two versions of the seating chart:

The seating chart has gotten a lot of attention from fans on Twitter (and my personal favorite is the official account from dating website OkCupid posting “To be a fly on the wall today”), and it seems safe to say that viewers will be getting both sides of the story in the reunion. A representative for Scheana Shay also went on the record about how she intended to handle the situation. Neama Rahmani, Shay’s attorney, told Page Six in a statement: 

The attorney went on to say that the restraining order “will just lapse” if Raquel Leviss doesn’t pursue the means to keep it in effect, and Shay “intends to call witnesses and present evidence to disprove her false accusations” if Leviss does pursue it. Shay has denied Leviss’ allegations all along, dismissing the case to Page Six as “a fabrication by a known liar and a cheat who has betrayed everyone close to her.”

All things considered, finding a way to include both women in the reunion sounds like it was quite complicated to figure out, but I can already imagine how high the anticipation will be for the reunion and the promise of hearing Leviss and Shay both dishing on the events of Season 10. Or maybe it just feels like a weird pairing to someone like me who’s watched them with other, more headstrong personalities in the last few seasons of their show. But maybe that’s the potential attraction there, eh? Raquel Leviss and Tom Schwartz are both very mild-tempered in comparison to the rest of the cast.

And Kennedy and Tom Schwartz are notoriously good pals themselves on the show.

As of this writing, none of the respective parties in question have either confirmed or denied the report. But they probably wouldn’t be able to say much, given contractual obligations while they are presently filming Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules. Everyone in the cast is returning from last year, save for Lala Kent’s former fiancé Randall Emmett, who she too called things off with last October.

The wedding planning stages for Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, a couple on Bravo’s long-running Vanderpump Rules series, had been ongoing for more than a year since their TV engagement. What we knew initially was that it was supposed to be a destination wedding to Bali that was possibly going to be filmed for the show in some capacity. However, plans evidently changed along the way, because the reality stars shared snaps of the official big day, and it was in a different international location altogether. But we need to talk about Shay's afterparty outfit too!

A Look BTS Into Vanderpump Rules Alums' Wedding 

First things first, though – the fairytale ceremony, which is technically Scheana Shay’s second to be documented by the Bravo cameras. Instead of traveling as planned to Bali where the two first said “I love you,” their official wedding took place in Cancun, Mexico at the Dreams Natura Resort & Spa on August 23. Per People, the newlyweds confirmed that several Vanderpump Rules cast members from now and seasons past (which are streaming via Peacock Premium) were among the guest lists. Namely, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute were there, along with both the Toms, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss. Whether or not Stassi Schroeder was as well – especially after she famously disinvited Scheana Shay and others from her own Italian destination wedding – remains to be seen. While Stassi Schroeder's invite is a mystery for now, we found out a little bit more about Brock Davies’ relationship with his estranged kids from a previous romance and how that tricky dynamic played into the wedding. Specifically, Scheana Shay revealed in July that while they’ve made progress on that front and invited them to the Mexico festivities, the kids were not actually coming. But they hinted that they might just bring the party to them in Australia after the fact. Shay and Davies' own daughter, 16-month-old Summer Moon Honey Davies, filled in as the flower girl:

You can’t really every go wrong with a classic, all-white, Cinderella wedding look. But what about the afterparty dress of the bride? Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay posted hers to Instagram Stories, and just, wow. Let’s discuss.

For starters, the dress itself kinda sorta looks like the bottom half of the actual gown from the ceremony had just been ripped off at the hem. And the TV personality is giving serious G.I. Jane vibes with those wedding boots. I’m all for functional over fashionable any day, but who knew Scheana Shay was? Partying the night away after months of being in hectic planning mode demands a certain level of comfort, I imagine.

About the I do’s, the Vanderpump Rules alums stated to the outlet that Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss were part of the bridal party, whereas Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval were two of the groomsmen. Meanwhile, their co-star DJ James Kennedy acted as the official DJ during the afterparty. Scheana Shay is over the moon with how it all played out, saying,

The irony here is that while Scheana Shay and Brock Davies are now officially husband and wife, everyone else in their inner circle is officially not. Most of their fellow Bravo castmates’ relationships have in fact come to dramatic ends in recent months.

After notoriously proposing to his girlfriend on the reality series in Season 9 – which in turn led to some drama when Shay and Davies tried to upstage them with their own engagement news – James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss broke up only a few months later. This was preceded by Lala Kent and her fiancé Randall Emmett’s nasty breakup as well. And then, the saddest of them all, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are now getting a divorce after barely two years of marriage.

Everyone is returning in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, which is currently in the midst of filming. Lisa Vanderpump might want to consider some rebranding here – perhaps Vanderpump Exes Rule? – because that’s what we’re looking at. When we’re not looking sideways at bridal bootwear, that is.

For eight seasons on Bravo’s hit series Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder earned quite the reputation for herself. Some might say it was a reputation for throwing tantrums and sarcasm, while she herself would proclaim it was for being a “devil” and a “basic bitch.” She’s since moved on from all that and is now a wife and mother of one. But the former reality star channeled her early seasons look of late – just the look, mind you – and she’s not mad about it.

The 34-year-old had, technically, been doing the bleached blonde hair trend for a while. Even at her destination second wedding to Beau Clark in Italy this past May, she was still keeping it light. However, on her Instagram on August 9, Stassi Schroeder showed off her locks being naturally light brown again, as they were in the heyday of Vanderpump Rules. See the after/before pics here:

None of the past or current Vanderpump Rules cast commented on the snap, perhaps because of reports that Stassi Schroeder had disinvited some of them to her European nuptials. Her husband/former co-star Beau Clark was all for the transformation, though, saying Schroeder was a “MILF” who keeps “getting more stunning with age.” Yet, to be fair, Clarke wasn’t around during the Season 1-era Stassi and the messy storylines that ensued, so I'm not entirely sure he can appreciate the moment this really is.

There were some famous faces who did react to the new/old style. Namely, Stassi Schroeder’s pal Lea Michele of Glee fame wrote, “LOVE!!!” Bravo’s RHONY alum Dorinda Medley, who has also done the platinum blonde look herself, said that she’s now considering copying the younger TV personality.

But personally, I’m loving all the comparisons to actress Jennifer Aniston by Stassi Schroeder’s fans in the comments. I can definitely see it. I’m also seeing a bit of old-school Lala Kent, a.k.a. Schroeder’s ex-castmate who is slated to still star in the greenlit tenth season.

There were rumors floating around earlier this year that Stassi Schroeder might return to her old show after being fired back in 2020 for racist behavior. We know that Lisa Vanderpump, Schroeder’s old boss and executive producer of the show, has said she would have liked a comeback moment for the star back then, too. 

Nevertheless, when Schroeder opened up about her controversial firing amidst her second book’s promotional tour recently, she not only alleged that other castmates were involved in the incident that got her axed, but that she wasn’t entirely sure if doing reality TV again was the life for her. The Bravolebrity explained at the time that she had “done the work” to rectify her behavior (via a diversity coach) and is now focused on her burgeoning family.

Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules is expected to be pretty juicy, with or without Stassi. A slew of breakups has hit the current cast in recent months, including James Kennedy/Raquel Leviss, Lala Kent/Randall Emmett, and Katie Maloney/Tom Schwartz. So, all in all, things might be getting even more messy than a signature Schroeder birthday party walkout here soon.

Throughout most of Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Shay’s relationship with boyfriend-turned-fiancé Brock Davies took center stage, and it wasn’t always pretty. He shared on-camera that he hadn’t seen his two kids from a previous relationship (who live in his home country of Australia) in four years at that point. Their co-star, Lala Kent, later revealed to the group that the real reason for his estrangement was due to him having a history of domestic violence with the mother. Davies downplayed the alleged incidents in question and suggested that distance and unpaid child support had more to do with it. And now, he's provided an update on the previously fraught relationship ahead of his and Shay’s wedding.

The last we heard was that Scheana Shay was actually helping facilitate healing conversations between Brock Davies and his ex over the phone. In truth, she may not be the best with conflict herself on Vanderpump Rules but, apparently, Shay was open to listening to the other woman’s side of the story. Davies added at the time that the only thing preventing him from reuniting with his kids was paying off the child support he still owed. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight more recently, the 31-year-old stated that while he has “not physically” seen them, they’ve made progress:

It still doesn’t sound like the most ideal situation, especially with the couple’s Cancun destination wedding slated for the end of August. Yet Scheana Shay, who once admitted that Brock Davies’ past was riddled with “red flags,” said of late that the half-siblings to her and Brock Davies’ 14-month-old daughter Summer Moon were “of course” invited to the nuptials. Whether they’re attending doesn’t seem as certain because Shay continued that it was “a lot” – presumably a reference to the remaining family baggage that needed to be worked through. Davies said, though, that they might visit his kids after the fact:

About the wedding itself, Scheana Shay shared in 2021 that they wanted it to be a huge party – originally in Bali, where she and her beau first said they loved each other. The location has obviously changed somewhat, and it’s unclear if the show’s cast are all still invited or if that has changed as well after the drama of Season 9. We know that a bit of guest list drama actually befell ousted castmate Stassi Schroeder regarding her recent Italian second wedding to Beau Clark, so Shay might want to think about that…

Whether the big I do’s will be filmed for Vanderpump Rules is yet another story in and of itself. Previously, the bride-to-be had said she was open to it but that the production schedule might mean it turns into a standalone wedding special in the Bravo tradition. The couple told ET that, presently, they still “don’t know” what the game play is.

As for VR in the grander scheme of things, Season 10 has been greenlit by the network. Reports indicate that the same cast from last year are all returning. But if true, it’s destined to be a much different show as a result. James Kennedy and his fiancé, Raquel Leviss, broke up ahead of the Season 9 finale. Then eventually, Lala Kent called off her own engagement due to Randall Emmett’s alleged cheating and other concerning behaviors. And to top it off, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz decided in the off-season to get a divorce.

So, as you can see, there should be a lot in store for the infamous prodigies of Lisa Vanderpump and their storylines. The spit hit the fan, so to speak, in the relationship between Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent and her fiancé Randall Emmett last October. Rumors of unfaithfulness had long circulated about the latter, but they wouldn’t start to gain traction until images surfaced online of him with two other women in Nashville, Tennessee. Not long after, Kent called off their 3-year-long engagement and confirmed that Emmett had cheated on her. In a bombshell new interview, though, the reality star alleges a bit more – namely that her ex “tackled” her when confronted about the allegations.

Lala Kent Sheds Light On Former Fiancé's Behavior

An exposé by the Los Angeles Times – entitled, “The man who played Hollywood: Inside Randall Emmett’s crumbling empire” – puts the notorious producer on blast for his reportedly sketchy business and personal practices. Speaking to the outlet, Lala Kent said that after the Nashville pics dropped, she confronted Emmett, which led to a standoff of sorts over seeing the contents of his phone. The mother to Emmett’s youngest child then took the cell anyway to examine it, despite his protestations. This apparently led to a tense situation where she stated,

The alleged altercation was confirmed by five other people who Lala Kent had told about it after the fact. Nonetheless, Randall Emmett denied that it became physical as she claims and offered a witness statement of his own from his nanny, Isabelle Morales, who was there when this all happened. Morales attested that she only saw Emmett “taking back his phone from Lala” but “neither was on the ground.”

More Details About BTS Incidents With Randall Emmett Come Out

In addition to the tackling claim, the Bravo TV personality alleged that Randall Emmett wanted her to sign an NDA back in 2016. She had been contemplating how to address their relationship on-screen, as Bravo was seeking to document it for Vanderpump Rules, but at that time, Emmett was still technically with his previous wife Ambyr Childers while dating Kent (supposedly unbeknownst to Kent). 

He sent the young star with her mother, Lisa Burningham, to see his lawyer, Keith Davidson. During the meeting, she alleges that Davidson had put forth that if she signed an agreement to keep the relationship quiet, then she would receive $14,000. Burningham told The Times that they immediately walked out: “I said, ‘We’re done.’”

The couple supposedly broke up briefly afterward, but obviously, they were back together again until the recent cheating scandal came to light. The outlet reports that pursuing younger women and then paying them off for signed NDAs was part of Randall Emmett’s apparent M.O. One anonymous woman even came forward to the publication with accusations that Emmett had sought sexual favors in exchange for parts in his movies.

What The Vanderpump Star Said Post-Breakup

Randall Emmett’s financial woes were also discussed at length in the report, said to include a $10 million lawsuit leveled at him of late. Lala Kent had previously addressed the situation, saying that post-breakup, people were calling her up left and right to “collect money” that Emmett supposedly still owed to them. She also shared more details about his alleged cheating. The 31-year-old claimed then that when she left Emmett with their daughter Ocean in tow, he “threatened to call the police” if the child wasn’t brought back. Only when she did return and he eventually felt “in control again” did Kent feel comfortable enough to leave for good.

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules (now streaming in full on Peacock Premium) was the first substantial time viewers saw Randall Emmett on the Bravo screen. It was prior to the cheating accusations coming out formally, but even still, certain comments Lala Kent was making at the time seemed to hint that she anticipated the relationship not lasting long. The reality series has since been greenlit for another season, and although Kent is slated to return, it’s highly unlikely that Emmett will do so again given the circumstances.

Things are changing in Lala Land of late. After calling off her engagement to Hollywood producer Randall Emett last October, Lala Kent is single and ready to mingle. (Or already mingling, we should say, given how candid Kent has been about her past and expected future sex life.) But she’s also decided to do a little something for herself amidst this new chapter. Namely, the Vanderpump Rules alum decided to get her “boobs done,” and the post-op video is kind of hilarious.

In fact, the 31-year-old simultaneously underwent a breast implant replacement and a procedure to have her left ear pinned back (also known as otoplasty). The first is pretty straightforward but, in case you don’t know what pinned back ears entails, plastic surgeons have to remove cartilage to then suture the ears into a better position. Lala Kent posted a video on Instagram of herself after just coming out of the surgery. She’s understandably groggy as she mumbles about farting, housewives and… a blow-dryer for her bed? Truth be told, though, Lala Kent has said far more embarrassing stuff and worse while fully sentient. I mean, she talked about giving Randall Emmett “blowies” pretty regularly on Vanderpump Rules, after all. Since their breakup, too, the blunt talker hasn’t shied away from shading her allegedly unfaithful ex in everything from merch to sex toy sponsorships.

Her latest boob job is actually a sponsorship by Sientra, a breast implant company. The reality star shared more about the partnership on Instagram toward the end of May, saying how excited she was for her “new mommy makeover.”

Lala Kent gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Ocean, back in March of 2021. She currently shares custody with Randall Emmett, although their dynamic is still apparently strained at the moment. Amidst Emmett’s ongoing legal and financial troubles, the Bravo alum claimed that the people involved with him contacted her for their money after the split. She alleged at the same time that she herself hadn’t received three months’ worth of previously agreed upon child support from her ex.

Nevertheless, between her podcast, obvious other avenues of paid advertising and a speculated return on Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent seems to be doing okay financially on her own so far. As she tells it, she was taught financial independence from a young age, and she was always careful to have her own bank account and credit cards. Kent also revealed that she “never had access” to any of Randall Emmett’s money in the entire five years of their relationship.

Bravo has already renewed Vanderpump Rules for a tenth season. (Catch up on past episodes, which are streaming on Peacock Premium.) The official cast lineup hasn’t been confirmed, but methinks Lala Kent is a safe bet to return. For the one-liners and wild honesty, if nothing else.

The longest-running relationship ever seen on the likes of Vanderpump Rules, at 12 years strong, has come to a definitive conclusion. Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, who got married in 2019 during the fifth season of the reality series, announced in March that they were divorcing amicably. In their statements at the time, the two made it very clear that their close-knit friend group wouldn’t have to choose sides between them because of the split, but apparently, one of their Bravo co-stars doesn’t feel that’s really the case. And Maloney has responded to the hints with her own rebuttal.

Vanderpump Rules Star Speaks Out On Katie And Tom Divorce

Surprisingly, the castmate who vocalized the divorce tea was none other than Raquel Leviss, who called off her own engagement to co-star James Kennedy last year. Speaking to Page Six during a Vanderpump Dog Foundation event last weekend, the Vanderpump Rules alum reflected that there is a sense of division happening amongst the friends of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz these days. She said,

Raquel Leviss added that she doesn’t get the “vibe” of one really pushing for loyalty votes more than the other. Presumably, this means that the pressure to choose is largely unspoken. However, Leviss did say that Scheana Shay (also of Vanderpump Rules fame) feels the opposite and that one of them is indeed more definitive on choosing. (At the time of this writing, Shay hasn’t responded to Leviss’ claim.)

Katie Maloney Denies Making People Choose Sides

A Vanderpump Rules fan account on Instagram reposted the original story on their feed on Wednesday. Not long after, Katie Maloney had her own reaction in the comments section. And if I’m reading the room correctly, it sounds like she’s a little miffed by the insinuation that they’re making friends choose. She wrote,

Another fan responded to the 35-year-old in the comments, rationalizing that Raquel Leviss and others might feel torn due to “internal pressure” or the media, not necessarily because of anything that she and Tom Schwartz are doing to specifically make them feel that way. They also suggested that Katie Maloney should “rise above it” instead of making throwaway “whatever” jabs. Ultimately, Maloney decided to write the fan back personally with a very point-blank statement: "there’s no reason to [for them] feel torn though, that’s the point."

What We Know So Far About Katie Maloney And Tom Schwartz Divorce

Following the news of their break-up, though, Katie Maloney did share some insight into what is clearly now a very awkward living situation (i.e. both still inhabiting the same house they bought together). She also revealed that the impetus for the divorce was her not feeling “fulfilled” in the relationship with Tom Schwartz. Apparently, there were some “other things” too, that played into the decision, but she didn’t want to get into whatever they were just yet. Others in the cast suggested that there was no indication that their divorce was on the horizon.

More than likely, the exact circumstances will be unpacked in further detail eventually because Vanderpump Rules has lately been greenlit by Bravo for a Season 10. Who all is involved still hasn’t been confirmed. Nevertheless, we can guess that it’ll be sticky no matter how they slice it due to all the breakups to come about in recent months: Raquel Leviss/James Kennedy, Lala Kent/Randall Emmett, and Katie Maloney/Tom Schwartz.

It makes me wonder if there is a similar pressure to “choose” when it comes to Raquel Leviss and James Kennedy, as Leviss seems to feel there is for her fellow cast members. A slew of firings rocked the cast of Vanderpump Rules, a reality series about L.A. restaurant co-workers, in June of 2020. Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens were let go after the discovery of racial slurs on their social media accounts, while Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were let go for a racially insensitive incident involving former co-star Faith Stowers. Stowers went public about how the two other women had reported her to the police years prior for a crime she didn’t commit, as part of a supposed prank, and emphasized the danger this posed to her as a Black woman in the U.S. Two years later, Schroeder is opening up more about the situation, to include claims that other VR co-stars were involved with what took place.

On The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, hosts Michael Bosstick and Lauryn Evarts lamented to Stassi Schroeder that her firing by Bravo was somewhat hasty. She concurred, saying it was “clearly not thought out” and that it was a quick enough decision where even the Vanderpump Rules producers she typically worked with didn’t know before it was announced. However, the reality star added that she understands overall why it had to happen:

The star has since seemingly moved on from her ouster and the world of reality television at large. At present, she’s raising a now-1-year-old daughter with husband Beau Clark. She also just released a second book, Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom, ahead of her second, much bigger wedding in Italy two weeks ago. (The wedding was originally supposed to be filmed for VR as a segue to a spinoff.) Apparently, her situation has improved so much that she doesn’t consider the Vanderpump Rules firing (along with subsequently being let go by her former PR and talent agencies, sponsorships, a book tour and a TV deal with Sony) such a bad thing anymore. She said:

Speaking on the idea of her being “cancelled” and living in “cancel culture,” Stassi Schroeder reflected that it’s actually “medieval” in her view. She explained that she thinks we’re living in a “weird, dark place” within society, where spectators want to see someone like her “lose everything.” Yet, the 33-year-old wanted to make it clear that she’s not a victim in this situation because she did indeed do what Faith Stowers claimed.

Still, she shared that it wasn’t “the best of times” immediately after the hammer came down from Bravo. Some of those behind the scenes on the Vanderpump Rules production team evidently “stepped up as friends,” though, which Stassi Schroeder admitted to being shocked by. But she also remembers feeling very angry for a month or so after everything transpired and that it delayed her learning from the process. Schroeder said:

Ultimately, the Bravo alum decided to go to a diversity coach to “do the work” of changing her behavior, which was also described in her book. She said she initially thought she would be judged for asking the wrong questions or saying the wrong things in these sessions but that her coach made her feel safe to do so. Schroeder added that, all in all, she’s “proud” that she can tell her daughter about how she went about things in the aftermath of the controversy.

And while she may be gone from Vanderpump Rules altogether, she still has some tea on her old co-stars to share with the group. In fact, she frankly alleged that there were more witnesses and “more people involved” in what she was fired for than is currently public knowledge. She didn’t name any names but did say:

Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules was greenlit by Bravo just recently, so it makes you wonder which of the show's remaining stars were allegedly involved in these other occurrences. (Although, I don’t think we’ll ever find out at this rate.) Rumors abound that Stassi Schroeder herself might return to the fold, but she seemed iffy on the podcast about doing another season in the future, saying she would probably need to be an executive producer in order to be more in control of her own narrative.

That isn’t too likely, though, when it comes to the Bravo network. Just saying. Fans can revisit previous seasons of Vanderpump Rules, with or without Stassi Schroeder, using a Peacock Premium subscription.

It came out last October that Vanderpump Rules’ Lala Kent had ended her 3-year-long engagement to her then-fiancé Randall Emmett. Photos had emerged of Emmett seemingly hanging out with other women, leading many to speculate that cheating was the root cause of the split. The Bravo reality star has confirmed as much (and more) regarding her ex. Lately, though, she’s getting real about Emmett’s $10 million lawsuit making headlines and how people were actually looking to her for money when they broke up.

Radar Online obtained court documents that showed Randall Emmett, George Furla, and their joint production company were being sued for a whopping $10.8 million in damages by The Fyzz Facility. Emmett and the others involved allegedly failed to pay the company back for a $4 million loan that was intended for a film project called Mexicali with Gerard Butler slated for the lead role. In addition, the suit accuses the defendants of breaking their contract when they used the loan to front a different project with Butler (a film reportedly in post-production called Hair of the Dog) without their agreed-upon permission.

Per the outlet, the big-time Hollywood producer – whose credits include Silence and The Irishman – has been facing other legal matters as well. Supposedly, Randall Emmett is being sued by an insurance company over fraud allegations and also for unpaid rent at his office space. When asked about the eight-figure lawsuit over a loan default, though, his ex Lala Kent claimed she knew nothing about it. She said on Jeff Lewis Live,

Previously, the Vanderpump Rules alum had shared a lot about the former financial arrangement she had with Randall Emmett. As she told it, she always had her own credit card and bank account throughout their entire five-year relationship, emphasizing that she “never had access to anything he had.” However, Jeff Lewis pressed the star further of late that she might’ve been entangled in the ongoing legal mess if they had gotten married as planned. Kent responded,

Lala Kent continued, explaining to the host exactly how tricky the current dynamic stands with her ex while they hash out custody and child support of their now 1-year-old daughter, Ocean. Apparently, they came to an agreed upon amount for support three months ago. However, according to Kent, Randall Emmett hasn’t paid it and she doesn’t really expect him to. She also alleged that Emmett’s employees at his L.A. mansion came to her “demanding to get paid” after their breakup, saying she only “hopes” that Ocean’s nanny is currently being paid.

The 31-year-old has maintained in the past that she knew nothing about Randall Emmett’s supposed extracurricular activities until after they went their separate ways. Nonetheless, her Vanderpump Rules co-star Scheana Shay dropped the bombshell that Kent might’ve had an inkling after all.

Vanderpump Rules has been greenlit for a tenth season on Bravo. The main cast hasn’t been confirmed, but Lala Kent has revealed that the reality show likes to “reward” her financially for drama. And judging by all the drama going on in her personal life at the moment, it would seem they’ll keep rewarding her. 

Fans can catch up on seasons past and what was likely Randall Emmett’s last appearance on the show with Peacock Premium, in the meantime.

Ever since she was fired from Vanderpump Rules alongside a few other castmates in early 2020, Stassi Schroeder has largely avoided the public eye. Two years later, though, not only are rumors swirling that she’ll return to television, but her recent destination wedding to Italy caused quite a stir in the headlines, somewhat  due to the notable absence of most of her former cast. The 33-year-old has since revealed that the wedding was originally supposed to be filmed for the show itself, which may surprise some, and she also got candid about why certain co-stars ultimately didn’t make the guest list.

Speaking on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, the ousted reality star shared that the plan was for her big wedding in Rome to be very important for the future evolution of Vanderpump Rules. As she tells it, in fact, it was supposed to be the kickoff or “bridge” to a “Valley Rules-y kind of spinoff” for the OG castmates only. (Which seems very likely, considering how Bravo has moved forward with a similar reboot/spinoff plan for the Real Housewives of New York.) These previous efforts apparently date back to 2019, way before Stassi Schroeder’s firing. She said: 

She continued, saying that contrary to popular belief, Bravo didn’t pay for the extravagant nuptials. So as a result, after she was fired, Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark had to have discussions about whether they wanted to take the L for the money they put down or if they wanted to “reimagine” the wedding and still do it. Obviously, they went with the latter, but it came with a significantly reduced budget. In her words:

Technically, the Roman festivities with all those jaw-dropping looks weren’t actually Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark’s first wedding. They were initially married in a quiet at-home ceremony during the height of the pandemic in 2020. And supposedly, their former Vanderpump Rules co-stars weren’t too salty about their invites getting reneged later on, as was initially reported. Schroeder reflected:

Still, the question remains if the self-proclaimed “basic bitch,” who released a second book ahead of her second wedding, is attempting to make a comeback of sorts. Lisa Vanderpump has been and is still to this day seemingly down for a Stassi Schroeder revival. On the podcast, Schroeder herself stated that she’s been frequently approached about doing another show by producers, but she doesn’t know if that’s what she wants to do moving forward. If so, she says she’d need to be an executive producer as well as the star of any reality TV show in the future.

In case you missed it, Bravo alum Stassi Schroeder got hitched – for the second time. She’s been married to Beau Clark since September of 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was only a backyard affair. The couple decided to redo things this past week with a big destination wedding to Rome, Italy. The wedding images themselves were picture perfect, but supposedly, there was some drama going on behind the scenes with their former Vanderpump Rules co-stars.

The ex-reality star dropped the official snaps from her renewed nuptials on Instagram. For their rehearsal dinner, the two were seen dressed to the nines, with Stassi Schroeder wearing a very high-slit white gown for her “Outfit of the Day.” But it was their official couple’s pose together and Schroeder’s floor-length wedding gown on the day of that was causing quite a stir on social media. On her Stories, Schroeder reflected that it was the "best two days" of her life and also "the best wedding ever." There was also a ton of pics shared of the night's afterparty, one of which can be seen here:

Alas, it wouldn’t quite be a Vanderpump Rules wedding (even if this particular castmate has long been let go by the network) if there wasn’t some reported drama afoot. According to a Page Six source, Tom Sandoval shared during a taping of his castmate Scheana Shay's podcast that he was never invited to the big shindig, which presumably means his longtime girlfriend/co-star Ariana Madix wasn’t either. In contrast, Shay herself was seemingly invited to attend but Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark apparently reneged on her. The source said,

Indeed, no one but Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz (who are soon to be getting divorced) of the Vanderpump Rules cast appeared to be in attendance at the wedding and likewise spamming their feeds with BTS pics. However, some of Stassi Schroeder’s former co-stars did comment on the wedding photos. Raquel Leviss offered her congratulations, while Lala Kent wrote that the bride looked “unbelievable.” Kristen Doute – who was fired alongside Schroeder in 2020 due to a prior racial incident involving the two of them coming to light – said her friend was “looking ethereal as can be.” But nothing, as of yet, from Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, or any other current cast members.

There were some rumors circulating in March that Stassi Schroeder might be making an imminent comeback on Vanderpump Rules. Following all the speculation, executive producer Lisa Vanderpump shared that she always wanted the controversial star back in order to show her “growth” on the show. But if Schroeder is not really as close with the remaining cast, as the report suggests, then a comeback might prove difficult. With the Bravo network making some progressive changes for the likes of the Real Housewives, her recasting wouldn't exactly be great optics.

Nevertheless, in the interim of weddings and wedding drama, Bravo has officially greenlit Vanderpump Rules for Season 10. More insight should be in store about Lala Kent’s now-defunct engagement to Randall Emmett, as well as the whole Katie and Tom living situation. And Scheana Shay has said she might film her own destination wedding to Brock Davies for the show. Time will tell if Stassi Schroeder gets an invite, an invite/disinvite, or neither for that one. Vanderpump Rules fans will remember the days of old when Stassi Schroeder would infamously throw birthday party tantrums over it being her day and not anyone else’s. Well, she's no longer on the show after getting fired by Bravo in 2020, but she's still making headlines this week. That's because the former reality star has dropped the first look at her gorgeous wedding gown as she gets married for the second time.

No, not to a second husband. Stassi Schroeder is still technically married to Beau Clarke, the father of her now-1-year-old daughter, Hartford. They got married quietly (the first time) back in 2020 after her controversial exit. However, they're now doing it up proper, like she always talked about on the show, in Rome, Italy! The Vanderpump Rules alum showed off their couple’s wedding photos for the occasion – and wow. See her Instagram pic:

It's certainly very fairytale-esque – a far cry from Stassi Schoeder's previously self-proclaimed “basic bitch” persona. True to form, the now-twice-over wife has also been sharing a few other pics in the lead-up to the big day, too. For example, their rehearsal dinner photoshoot saw Schroeder in another jaw-dropping white gown that was actually slit on the side, all the way up to her hip.

Judging by the other photos circulating online, some of the Vanderpump Rules cast were seemingly not invited to the shindig. Stassi Schroder's BFF Katie Maloney – who announced jointly with her husband Tom Schwartz in March that they were actually getting a divorce – had some snaps on her Instagram account of the events transpiring in Rome. But as of yet, none of the other alums – including Lala Kent, Kristen Doute, Scheana Shay, etc – have shared any mementos from the occasion.

The big second wedding comes on the heels of a ton of fan speculation that the ousted castmate might be returning to the fold for the show's next season. Executive producer/matriarch Lisa Vanderpump has essentially seconded the notion of her comeback in the past, saying at the time that she would’ve preferred to “see growth” happen on-camera. I'm still not too sure that Bravo will execute such a decision-reversal, given the climate of change and new blood sweeping the network of late.

Nevertheless, a tenth season of Vanderpump Rules has not been officially greenlighted just yet. But if it does, it might just have its hands full anyway if Scheana Shay decides to go through with filming her own wedding to Brock Davies for the reality series, which would be her second time doing so. Second time’s the charm all around, isn't it?

Amidst the pandemic and rise of the BLM protests in 2020, controversy arose concerning several among the Vanderpump Rules cast. Longtime alums Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired by the Bravo network at the time, after their former co-star, Faith Stowers, came forward about how they called the police on her over a fake incident. Then, newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were axed from the show due to the discovery of racial slurs on their social media. It’s been two years since all of that transpired, and matriarch Lisa Vanderpump has shared some honest thoughts on possibly bringing those controversial stars back into the fold for the potential tenth season.

In the months following the dismissals, Lisa Vanderpump had in fact vocalized her desire for the stars to be given a second chance. She said that Bravo had been “reactive” and that she would’ve preferred to watch the 30-somethings work out their misdeeds on-camera. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight more recently, the Vanderpump Rules executive producer continued to stand firm in those views. She said:

Interestingly, some rumors surfaced back in March, alleging that Stassi Schroeder was returning to the show. Neither she nor Bravo have confirmed the speculation, but it doesn’t seem altogether likely. The network has been embroiled in racial controversies on a number of fronts, including for The Real Housewives of New York and Below Deck. What's more is that NBCUniversal, Bravo and others are now being sued by NeNe Leakes, who alleges that there was a workplace culture of discriminatory practices during her time on RHOA. So the idea of Schroeder and other contentious castmates coming back at this time wouldn’t look good, to say the least.

Regardless, though, Vanderpump Rules has yet to even be greenlit for another season. Bravo has been busy making structural changes across the board, including the cancellation of Shahs of Sunset after nine seasons and retooling the lineup for RHNY. However, Lisa Vanderpump seems to think her namesake show still has more to offer. She told the outlet:

Truth be told, there are a lot of storylines to work with for a potential tenth season. Namely, the remaining alums have been rocked by one major breakup after another in the off-season. Both the DJ James Kennedy/Raquel Leviss and Lala Kent/Randall Emmett engagements are off. Not to mention, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are divorcing after nearly three years of marriage and 12 years total of being together.

I, for one, would be interested in seeing how Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s awkward living situation fares post-divorce, as well as how it all might affect their longstanding friendships as a group. But like I said, Stassi Schroeder et al probably won’t see a Vanderpump Rules return anytime soon – no matter if Lisa Vanderpump is in their corner to this day. While we await news of a renewal, fans can check out old seasons of the reality series with Peacock Premium.

Back in 2020, a prior incident came to light about Vanderpump Rules castmates Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. Their former co-star Faith Stowers, the only Black castmate to ever be on the show, alleged the two had called the police on her at one point over a false crime. The situation prompted Bravo to fire the alums, as well as a few others for separate controversies, in the weeks following. More recently, though, rumors have started circulating that Schroeder may be returning to the fold, so to speak. But I’m not totally buying it.

The majority of the speculation seems to have started after the Bravo and Cocktails gossip column received an anonymous tip. Stassi Schroeder’s name is never specifically mentioned by the source, only that an “ex bar star” in the midst of newfound motherhood is making a TV comeback “soon.” All signs indeed point to the ousted Vanderpump Rules alum who had her first child with husband Beau Clark last January.

Yet, it’s not altogether too likely that Stassi Schroeder will be welcomed back by Bravo to her former show, if we take into account the current climate at the network. Efforts are being made to tame down controversy, not invite it back. We can take the recent Real Housewives of New York reboot/spinoff news as just one example. Executive producer Andy Cohen shared that the upcoming rebooted series is going to be a lot more diverse and inclusive in the wake of the divisive thirteenth season. It’s a bold statement to do a factory reset on the network’s second-longest running entity for that franchise – and I think it's an indication the network may be going in a different direction than past years. 

Nevertheless, Vanderpump Rules’ matriarch Lisa Vanderpump has said in the past that she wished Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute could’ve come back for Season 9 to see their potential journey of “growth.” She added there were “a lot of reactive decisions” at the time this all occurred. So perhaps the restaurateur/ex-RHBH star intervened on behalf of her former protégé to Bravo, and perhaps we will in fact see her in the next VR season or perhaps some other series. Still, that’s just too many perhapses in my book…

All in all, too, I think the next season of Vanderpump Rules (yet to be greenlighted) should be dramatic enough without fired former co-stars complicating things further. Lala Kent already has plenty to say about her ex’s reported infidelity of late. James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss called off their engagement. And longtime couple Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are getting divorced (but still living together temporarily).

As you can see, based on recent Bravo decisions and other factors, I just don't feel a return is in the cards for Stassi Schroeder just yet, nor does the show need it, though you can always relive her major moments with a Peacock subscription. One imagines she’s been perfecting the art of “Next Level Basic” in the time sense, though. 

The Vanderpump Rules fanbase is still reeling a bit from the breakup news
regarding Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney. The two were together for 12 years in total, two of which were as a married couple and nine of which were spent as headliners on the reality series since its inception in 2013. Their co-stars showed support online, but Ariana Madix is getting candid about how she really found out about her friends’ divorce.

If appearances are any indication, the cast had no idea about the couple’s future marital demise when they filmed the Vanderpump Rules Season 9 reunion back in December. (Or at least, they weren’t showing it.) As Ariana Madix would tell it, she found out from Tom Schwartz about his divorce only after it was already decided on, and she was as completely shocked as the rest of us. Madix said to Entertainment Tonight:

That’s classic Ariana Madix, if I’ve ever heard it. (For a friend’s 12-year-long relationship ending, I would’ve needed more discussion at the on-set than that.) Madix’s boyfriend of eight years, Tom Sandoval, told the outlet that they are “cheering” on both Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney no matter what happens and can’t do much more than that. Ultimately, he said, “I mean, really, that’s what it is.”

Katie Maloney not only revealed that she and Tom Schwartz are still living together (for the time being), but that the reason for their divorce was because she wasn’t feeling fulfilled, along with lingering issues that she wasn’t ready to discuss yet. It would be interesting to find out if Maloney’s lingering issues in fact have to with her big argument with Tom Sandoval in Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules, during which she vocalized her husband’s feelings about the bar idea and then wasn’t supported by said spouse in the subsequent fight with Sandoval. According to their co-star, during the same ET interview, though, the dynamic of their group is still strong, saying:

Before Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz called it quits, co-star Lala Kent had broken up with her fiancé/the father of her child, Randall Emmett. Cheating was reportedly the case, and Kent isn’t afraid to shade him for it in public. It also came to light that Madix and Maloney's sandwich shop venture with Emmett was dissolved in the wake of the breakup. But before all of even that whole mess, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss called off their engagement as well.

Perhaps Ariana Madix’s fervent philosophy to never get married is the right idea after all? Because Vanderpump Rules relationships are dropping like flies out here. But fans can relive the good old days of the Schwartz-Maloney rollercoaster with either Peacock Premium membership or a Hulu subscription.

The death knell sounded for Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s 12-year-long relationship and 2-year marriage this week. Though Bravo viewers witnessed them persevere together on nine seasons of Vanderpump Rules despite various issues, the couple’s breakup announcements suggest that they will be happier apart. In the latest update on their situation, Maloney has explained what their living arrangements are looking like – and it sounds a bit awkward.

The Vanderpump Rules alum took to her You’re Gonna Love Me podcast with a fresh episode called “The Hardest Decision I Ever Made.” As the title and Tom Schwartz’s own account indicate, the forthcoming divorce was apparently at the behest of Katie Maloney. Taking the less shady route than some others, Maloney revealed that their separation has been ongoing for over a month now, but the two are still living together in the L.A. house they purchased in 2019. She said,

Katie Maloney added that, while she and Tom Schwartz are adapting to this new normal, their friends are being “very supportive.” But still, it must be more than a little tricky to live under the same roof, and what, just sleep in different rooms? Divorce isn't always easy though, I suppose, as fellow reality star Kim Kardashian has found out with her own ex.

Speaking on the real reason behind the marital dissolution, Vanderpump Rules’ Katie Maloney was firm that there wasn’t “some crazy fight” that prompted it. In fact, she got very emotional and started crying as she described not feeling “fulfilled” by husband Tom Schwartz. There are evidently “other things” as well that she felt the “weight” of, but Maloney reflected that she won’t want to get into specifics until a later date.

For now, the reality star is making the best of the circumstances. Quite a few of Katie Maloney’s Vanderpump Rules co-stars are in similar boats themselves, so they should all be able to lean on one another. Namely, James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss ended their short-lived engagement last year, and Lala Kent broke up with fiancé Randall Emmett after cheating allegations came to light. Kent in fact is grappling with the discussions she’ll need to have with her 1-year-old daughter in the future about her father.

Bravo fans have been knocked over sideways in shock (myself included) to learn that Vanderpump Rules’ longest-standing relationship -- besides Lisa and Ken Vanderpump’s -- have called it quits. Following several concerning breakup rumors, the official confirmation came yesterday that co-stars Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz were ending their marriage. The two were very candid about splitting up following 12 years together, and now the VR cast are reacting publicly to the unfortunate news.

Current And Previous Vanderpump Rules Castmates Respond To Tom Schwartz Break-up Post

The two reality stars actually started dating a few years before the series about Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant work staff premiered in 2013. They would later, in fact, get married on the show in 2019. Tom Schwartz indicated on his Instagram that the decision to end things ultimately came down to his wife Katie Maloney. He candidly shared that the situation “sucks” and is “painful,” but it would be “far sadder” if she stayed in the marriage while not happy. The response from their Bravo castmates inevitably flooded in, both past and present. Scheana Shay, who is tentatively considering filming her own upcoming nuptials for the show, wrote “Sending you love!” Similar comments of love and support were made by James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss and Jax Taylor. Taylor’s “love ya bro” remark, in particular, comes as a surprise, considering how much frank rancor he had about Vanderpump Rules upon his exit last year. Even Lala Kent’s ex Randall Emmett, once believed to be on the outs with the friend group, said “Love you buddy.”

More Vanderpump Rules Reactions Abound On Katie Maloney's Social Media

Likewise on her Instagram, Katie Maloney wrote that she “never thought” she would be revealing the dissolution of her marriage to Tom Schwartz. She added there was no animosity between them, making there “no sides to choose” for their friends and fans. Simply put, they just wanted to go on “different paths.” The Vanderpump Rules stated,

Ariana Madix and Raquel Leviss sent their love again to the now-former couple, as well as their controversial former co-stars/besties Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. Others in the VR fam, such as Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, Charli Burnett, Max Boyens, Dayna Kathans, all also sent love and heart emojis their way.

This makes for the third major Vanderpump Rules split in recent months. First, Lala Kent called off her 3-year engagement to Randall Emmett over cheating allegations. Then Raquel Levis and James Kennedy broke up after only a few months of their own engagement, which was filmed for the show’s ninth season. Now, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz…

The end of their relationship truly is a bit saddening. Though they had their ups and downs on-camera over the years – everything from name butt tattoos to cheating – they were undeniably made up an era of Vanderpump Rules together, and now that era is officially over it would seem…

The engagement between Lala Kent and The Irishman producer Randall Emmett ended last October after reports of the latter’s supposed cheating came out. In the wake of their split, the Vanderpump Rules alum has taken to hilariously shading her ex online whenever she can get the chance – sometimes with vibrators. But as it turns out, it’s not been just fun and games in the intervening months. The reality star made some new claims about her ex’s alleged cheating – and she doesn't mince words.

The revelations came as a response on Tina Swithin’s Instagram account. Swithin runs “One Mom’s Battle,” an internationally recognized resource for women in the midst of toxic relationships and divorces. She called out Randall Emmett specifically in one post for all the rumors circulating about him, labeling him a “narcissist” and the opposite of a “family man.” Lala Kent replied in the comments with frank details about the father of her daughter, Ocean, and when his cheating supposedly started:

In the past, the reality TV star has only briefly alluded to knowing more than the public about her ex's reported cheating. She’s tried to remain empowered for the most part, saying at one point that she would even thank the other women he was seemingly sexually involved with. However, the Vanderpump Rules vet continued in the recent post that the act of leaving her former fiancée was a very serious situation, adding that he “threatened to call the police” if their daughter wasn’t brought back to his house. It was only after she returned and he felt “in control again” that she could evidently then leave for good.

The Instagram account also alleged that Randall Emmett had been using a picture online of his daughter from Lala Kent to “prey” on other women, which the Bravo star confirmed in the comments. Along with claiming that Emmett’s supposed new 23-year-old girlfriend was now “basically living” in their former home together, Kent shared:

Lala Kent has caught some flak from a certain Shahs of Sunset star for laying it all out there about her old flame for everyone to know. Which hasn’t been much of a deterrent, as one can see. In fact, Kent was candid recently about how she plans to discuss these negative stories with her daughter in the distant future.

The two exes currently split time co-parenting, but there is purportedly no direct communication between them about anything beyond their daughter. And despite the drama in Vanderpump Rules’ ninth season, Lala Kent has been leaning on support from (most of) her castmates in the interim.

For many years and many seasons on Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent defended her relationship with Midnight in the Switchgrass director/producer Randall Emmett against those who would question its authenticity. The two seemed to prove the naysayers wrong when they got engaged in 2018 and had their first child together in 2021. But it all came crashing down in October when rumors started circulating that Emmett cheated, rumors of which Kent has claimed are indeed true. The reality star is, in fact, continuing her streak of total transparency – including how she’ll explain “negative stories” about her ex-fiancé to their daughter someday.

As of right now, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s daughter, Ocean, is barely a year old. (She’ll have her first official birthday on March 15.) So it’s not likely that she’ll be wondering worrying about her father’s supposed extracurriculars anytime soon. However, fans recently questioned the Vanderpump Rules alum on her Instagram stories (via People) about the future, asking if she still worries about Ocean growing up with these “negative stories about her dad.” Kent responded:

It's an empowering message, and one that the star has been championing ever since her breakup. In her first public statement about her ex Randall Emmett amidst the hoopla, she asserted that her sobriety journey – which first started after the death of her father in 2018 – is stronger now more than ever. She’s also started dating other people, advocating for women’s financial independence and even claimed she would personally thank those women Emmett was reportedly caught sleeping around with. All the while, she's been raising a daughter as a first-time mom and juggling press duties for Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. 

Since the split, Lala Kent has actually implied that her ex’s misdeeds are more than what the world knows. So much so, apparently, that her castmates have cut friendship and business ties with the Hollywood producer in the interim. Yet, Kent has still caught a bit of criticism for publicly shading the father of her child so thoroughly, with one Shahs of Sunset star even making some harsh cheating allegations of her own.

Here’s hoping that the still unfolding situation doesn’t actually have a negative affect Ocean as she matures. If celebrity splits have shown us anything, it's that co-parenting can become messy in the aftermath.

Lala Kent is one of the blunter TV personalities on the Bravo network. She says whatever she’s thinking or feeling in the moment on Vanderpump Rules, even if it doesn’t appear that it'll age too well. And it seems that remains even when the cameras aren't rolling. Whether she’s shading her ex with vibrator ads on Insta or dismissing her co-stars’ poor ideas of friendship in the press, Kent continues to shock spectators with her frankness. Lately, the reality star has gotten very real about salary negotiations and how the show in fact “rewards” her.

A few months ago – following cheating allegations that led her to breakup with Hollywood producer/fiancé Randall Emmett – Lala Kent was candid that she was able to leave her ex easily because her mom taught her financial independence from a young age. But the 31-year-old discussed her finances further on the Trading Secrets podcast, specifically about how it works on Vanderpump Rules with the salary hierarchy. She said:

The star went on to say that it’s all contingent on how long a castmate has been on the show. She added that she knows her worth, though, and goes into salary negotiations with the mindset that she’s “absolutely” deserving of “a billion dollars per episode” – no matter how unlikely that budget is for Bravo. She also shared that she negotiates now to make sure her Give Them Lala brand is “relevant” on the show (i.e. screentime). In exchange, she has to essentially be the driver of the drama with castmates, saying,

After the tense Season 9 reunion for Vanderpump Rules, however, Lala Kent initially suggested that she might not return for another season of pot-stirring. Yet she said on Trading Secrets that this is usually what happens when she and her co-stars are feeling “drained” and “exhausted” after months of filming with the same group of people. But Kent is apparently still contemplating an exit, adding that she would need to do some “soul-searching” when it comes to whether the show is a “healthy environment” for her and her infant daughter.

It would seem, then, that the businesswoman is moving on in all possible ways: she’s headlining her own Give Them Lala speaking tour and is back in the dating game after her split. Whether it’s the end of her time on VR remains to be seen, although the powers-that-be might not exactly favor the alum laying bare that the drama is essentially created for pay increases.

Still, Lala Kent knows very well the privilege of being paid to argue. She said, “I’m sure an accountant in Ohio can’t just cause conflict and [their boss] be like, ‘You know what, Bob, you really stood your own. We’re going to give you a promotion.’”

Two major Vanderpump Rules couples ended their engagements last year: Lala Kent & Randall Emmett and James Kennedy & Raquel Leviss. While the latter supposedly broke up amicably, the former two clearly did not, with Kent shading her ex left, right and center in the wake of his reported cheating. Kent also called out her Bravo co-stars for the lack of compassion aimed at her during the reunion, and even threatened to walk away from the show at the time. In an update on her friendships, the 31-year-old reveals which ones still aren't fully supportive amidst the breakup.

On the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, the Vanderpump Rules alum wanted to make clear that her previous statements about her castmates and their treatment of her was all, apparently, in the heat of the moment. The star amended herself to say that their group has actually been “incredible.” However, there are two co-stars that are still lacking a certain je ne sais quoi in the friend department. She commented:

It is interesting that Tom Sandoval and girlfriend Ariana Madix were criticized in particular. Sandoval had in fact shared on Watch What Happens Live some weeks back that it wasn't likely that they all would be friends with Randall Emmett anymore, now that he and Lala Kent were broken up. Likewise, it was revealed that Madix and their other Vanderpump Rules co-star, Katie Maloney, had severed business ties with Emmett, who offered $150,000 to them both during the finale episode for their sandwich shop idea. Madix also revealed on social media that the finale fight between her and Lala Kent ended much more lovingly than was shown.

All in all, though, it sounds like Lala Kent is trying to say that some friendships amongst the cast are evidently more one-sided. Surprisingly, this isn't so much the case anymore with co-star Brock Davies. The VR newcomer and fiancé to Scheana Shay was dismissive of Kent’s woes at the reunion and outright shady about them since. Nevertheless, Kent added on her podcast that Davies actually sent a "very sweet message" apologizing for his behavior. As for anyone on the fence about being her friend now that her life looks dramatically different, the reality star had a message for them, saying:

Her friendships on Vanderpump Rules might be complicated, to say the least, but the matter of her sex life is a little more straightforward. She's moved on from Randall Emmett completely, and rumor has it, he "looks like Superman"…

To quote Scheana Shay’s infamous tattoo, “It’s all happening.” She has a baby with the man of her dreams, Brock Davies. The two are also engaged to be married and planning a major destination wedding in Bali, which may or may not be filmed for television. But while everything might seem happy-hunky-dory, Bravo fans have vocalized that the man of Shay’s dreams might just have one too many “red flags." The Vanderpump Rules alum is currently addressing those concerns over her fiancé’s past.

Of all the red flags, the most notable concerning Brock Davies came to light on Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules during which it was revealed that he had a previous domestic violence charge against an ex. Fans particularly didn't like how Davies was so casual at the reunion about referring to slapping the mother of his two other kids in Australia. It also came out that the newcomer on the show isn't up to date on child support for those kids. Scheana Shay told Insider that she understands the criticisms about her fiancé, saying:

Evidently, the soon-to-be married couple had planned to not discuss Brock Davies' controversial past at all on Vanderpump Rules – until Lala Kent brought it up after being told in confidence. Scheana Shay told the outlet that they had made an “agreement” with Davies’ ex to keep their lives private. But the reality star reiterated that, despite the semi-secrecy, she still knew about what happened from the get-go. She said:

As far as the star has previously stated, she has been helping Brock Davies and his ex smooth over their past struggles, with the goal being for Davies to one day be a part of the lives of his other children, who he hasn't seen in over four years. They're supposedly making progress, and apparently, the same can be said of co-star Lala Kent and her future after leaving her own fiancé, Randall Emmett. However, both Davies and Scheana Shay are still seemingly holding a grudge against Kent for bringing up the aforementioned red flags on Vanderpump Rules. Shay has recently even dropped a bombshell that Kent probably knew or could’ve known about the cheating rumors about Emmett, if she wanted to.

The drama continues for Bravo stars, whether they are on or off the air. But regardless of the warning signs or fan commentary, Scheana Shay is still supporting her man fully – and that includes the morganite engagement ring he gave her.

After Hollywood producer Randall Emmett was supposedly caught out cheating with other women last October, his fiancée Lala Kent decided to end the relationship and move out with their infant daughter in tow. Her fellow Vanderpump Rules castmates have taken her side (for the most part) in the wake of the split – except for newcomer Brock Davies, who essentially said Kent couldn’t hold down her former man. (At least one other Bravo alum doesn't think so highly of Kent, either.) However, the 33-year-old reality star is paying the naysayers no mind as she gets candid about her sex life and hopes for the future.

On the latest episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star delved right into details about her sexscapades over the recent years, and it doesn't sound pretty. She explained that alcohol played a huge role in how she would jump into bed with new people, saying that after only a few drinks it would be “on” (like Donkey Kong, so to speak). But that's all different now – because she's free of both alcohol and Randall Emmett. Lala Kent continued,

Ouch. This isn't the first time, though, that Lala Kent took aim at Randall Emmett’s apparent lack of sexpertise. She previously joked in a social media ad post that vibrators have helped her sex life quite a bit since the big split. The Bravo star has also been periodically shading her ex on everything from finances to those women he supposedly slept with. But Kent added on her podcast that she's still simultaneously nervous and excited for what’s in store for her bedsprings. She said,

Bravo fans have been eager to know if Lala Kent would ever in fact get back with her other ex/co-star on Vanderpump Rules in DJ James Kennedy, who has also gotten sober in recent years. However, the two were exceptionally vague about any potential reconnection during a Watch What Happens Live stint. Which might be for the best because fans and castmates learned the biggest shocker of them all during the last VR reunion concerning Kennedy's own sex life. (Apparently, he and ex fiancée Raquel Leviss haven't done the deed in several years.)

I don't think an extensive dry spell is exactly what Lala Kent has in mind for a “fun” time with a sexual partner. (New or old.) Either way, while she figures things out post-Randall Emmett breakup, it still isn't yet clear if she will return to Vanderpump Rules if Bravo greenlights another season. Here’s hoping she does because Kent is arguably the only one of cast really delivering the spice.

After nearly six years of dating, a three-year-long engagement and conceiving a daughter together, Lala Kent broke things off with Hollywood director/producer Randall Emmett. He was pictured with other women prior to the news breaking, and Kent has said that her ex-fiancé did actually cheat on her. The Vanderpump Rules alum has also claimed that she was totally blindsided by the revelations. However, her co-star Scheana Shay just dropped a bombshell about what Kent allegedly really knew concerning Emmett’s also alleged cheating.

The teaser for Part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion next week has shown Lala Kent in tears over the breakup, as she chastises the cast for purportedly knowing more than she did about Randall Emmett’s supposed behaviors, particularly James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval. She’s even contemplating leaving the show in the wake of her co-stars’ seemingly lack of support for her. But Scheana Shay suggested that the complete opposite is true in an interview with Us Weekly. She said,

Scheana Shay seems to be saying, then, that Lala Kent either did know or could’ve known in the past about these cheating rumors from her friends, but perhaps she just didn’t care to know either way. It is true that Kent refused to speak about her relationship with Randall Emmett in her early seasons (supposedly because he was in the midst of divorcing his then-wife). Only in Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules have fans even seen Emmett in such a major capacity.

At the same time, though, Scheana Shay claimed to the outlet that the Vanderpump Rules cast don’t put much stock in hearsay because they’ve apparently heard it all, and then some, before. Such is the nature of reality TV, but it does appear to poke significant holes in Lala Kent’s story that she knew nothing about her fiancé’s assumed extracurricular entanglements. Shay revealed,

Bravo alum Golnesa Gharachedaghi, from the Shahs of Sunset series, has also contradicted Lala Kent’s version of events on social media, even going so far as to imply that Kent cheated on Randall Emmett first. It’s become such a back-and-forth argument that the two have taken to questioning the other’s capability for compassion and understanding as single moms. Vanderpump Rules fans actually saw a similar situation play out between Kent and Scheana Shay during Season 9. Kent in fact questioned Shay’s motherhood decisions, in light of learning about her fiancé Brock Davies’ previous family troubles that include domestic violence and years-long absence from his kids.

Brock Davies has made some of his own (much harsher) comments about Lala Kent and her knowledge about Randall Emmett’s infidelity. Yet, other castmates have insinuated that their friendships with Emmett have taken a nosedive, so it doesn’t look as though couple date nights will ever be in the cards again for the previously close friend group, one way or the other. Lala Kent’s relationship with Randall Emmett has been nearly as long as her tenure on Vanderpump Rules. The two first took up dating in 2015 and were actually engaged for almost three years when Kent called things off in October of 2021. In that span of time, the Midnight in the Switchgrass director/producer appeared to make friendships on his own with the notorious Bravo cast. Following the big split, though, certain stars have weighed in on the status of those friendships.

Due to divorce proceedings with his then-wife, Randall Emmett wouldn't appear on Vanderpump Rules in the early seasons and Lala Kent even refused to speak his name out of privacy. However, fans would eventually see him more and more, culminating in his significant presence in the recent ninth season, particularly his friendships with the guys. 

Emmett, in fact, shared in one episode that he had wanted to invest in Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval’s new bar venture, but they turned him down. Speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live recently, Schwartz and Sandoval updated viewers on what the breakup means for their bromance with the Hollywood producer. Sandoval said,

When pushed for more, the Vanderpump Rules star reflected that he's uncertain if his own friendship with Lala Kent’s ex will continue, adding, “I don't think so.” Kent has alleged of late that Randall Emmett really did cheat on her during their engagement, and her co-star Tom Schwartz is apparently taking a diplomatic approach to the situation. He shared,

With Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz seemingly parting ways with Randall Emmett, or vice versa, it's not looking too hot for the rest of the cast. In fact, while the two Toms had a more “bro” friendship with Emmett, Vanderpump Rules co-stars Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix were about to go into business with him. During the Season 9 finale, they revealed he and his business partners had decided to invest $150,000 in their sandwich shop idea. However, on WWHL, Sandoval revealed that the partnership was “dissolved,” with Maloney and Madix looking for “other investors now.”

Nevertheless, it is Lala Kent who might just be done with her longtime castmates, regardless of their loyalties. She claimed that after receiving no support and a ton of criticism at the Vanderpump Rules reunion, she was mulling over whether to leave or stay on for another season. The teaser for the reunion was released only a few days ago. Kent is seen crying over the ordeal, and matriarch Lisa Vanderpump remarks about the breakup, “Sometimes the way you get them is the way you lose them."

The drama obviously continues on Vanderpump Rules, with or without Randall Emmett's help. We know of at least one other former Bravo alum who is strictly Team Lala – and it most certainly isn’t Shahs of Sunset’s Golnesa.
