2026 TV Premiere Date Schedule: Watch Stranger Things' Spinoff, Hulk Hogan Doc, And Richard Gadd's New Show In April

Despite any and all recent TV cancellations that might be weighing TV audiences down, more than enough high-profile premieres are on the way to hopefully make up for anything that’s lost. This month has already delivered highly anticipated returns from Euphoria and Malcolm in the Middle, as well as a new Star Wars series, and highlights abound for the rest of the month and beyond.

From new Netflix series and stand-up specials to the return of Regular Show's Mordecai and Rigby to the newest TV creation from Baby Reindeer's Richard Gadd, CinemaBlend's 2026 TV schedule is all you need to stay informed about the biggest and most exciting projects yet to come. (I'm personally most excited for Marvel one-shot for Jon Bernthal’s Punisher and for Javier Bardem's nightmarish performance in Cape Fear.)

NOTE: New series premieres are listed in ALL CAPS, and all times listed below are in ET/EST.

The Boys' final season continues its run from April into May, and I can't imagine any other premieres will deliver the same amount of NSFW chaos. Check out what's new on 4/20, as well as a show about a different kind of green, Zach Galifianakis' This Is a Gardening Show.

May 2026 TV Premieres

Frank Castle with blood on his cheek and neck in The Punisher: One Last Kill

Traditionally, May has always been a month where TV finales have far outnumbered the amount of new shows debuting. That hasn't completely changed yet, and this month marks another few weeks of saying farewell to primetime shows. But there are also big debuts to look forward to, such as the long-gestating and somewhat controversial return of Prime Video's Good Omens for its final epilogue, as well as Nicolas Cage's arrival as The Spider in Spider-Noir and the return of Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle. Sports fans have lots to look for, from the NHL's Stanley Cup playoffs to the NBA playoffs to the Kentucky Derby,

We've been waiting a while for Netflix's conspiratorial military thriller Trinity, starring Richard Madden, Gugu Mbatha Raw, JD Pardo and Marcia Gay Harden, and we'll be waiting a few more months yet for that and the upcoming LIttle House on the Prairie reboot. "Lucky" for everyone, the new Apple TV show from Anya-Taylor Joy and Timothy Olyphant is also this month.
