While Blake Lively is still seen out and about, and she’s continued working, there’s no denying that we’ve seen a bit less of her since the It Ends With Us legal battle and her alleged falling out with Taylor Swift. Now, insiders have made claims about how her celebrity status has been impacted by the notion that she and the pop star have grown apart.
For a long time, it was alleged that Lively wasn’t invited to Swift’s wedding (which happened on July 3). The actress, Ryan Reynolds and their kids (who are Swift’s godchildren) were ultimately not present. This seemingly added to the idea that the women have grown apart or had some sort of falling out. Now, allegations are being made about how this potential rift is impacting the A Simple Favor star's celebrity status. Speaking to Rob Shuter, one insider alleged:
Blake is absolutely still getting invited. But without Taylor, she’s no longer automatically getting the best seats, the most exclusive lounges, or the kind of VIP treatment that came with being part of Taylor’s inner circle.
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen Swift and Lively walking the streets of NYC together or sitting in a box at a football game. Now, according to this insider, the fact that the Gossip Girl star seemingly isn’t as connected to “The Fate of Ophelia” singer as she once was is impacting her ability to get into the most exclusive places. To that point, another source claimed:
Taylor’s world operates on another level. Being one of her closest friends meant front-row seats, invitation-only parties, and access to the most influential people in music, sports, fashion, and Hollywood. Those opportunities don’t automatically follow you once you’re outside that circle.
Of course, we don’t actually know what’s going on between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively. However, what is undeniable is the fact that the two haven’t been seen together in a very long time. After The Tortured Poets Department artist was looped into the It Ends With Us legal situation, their friendship seemingly started to shift. Now, it seems like the two are not nearly as close as they once were.
Based on what these sources are saying, it seems like Lively can’t get the VIP access she once had because of all this. However, she’s still a celebrity, and according to this insider, she’ll allegedly still be able to use her status to get celebrity treatment; she just might not get the exclusive treatment she got with Swift by her side:

The report notes that Lively has not been denied access to events. In fact, she was at the World Cup Final, and she attended the Met Gala earlier this spring. However, what’s seemingly changed is her ability to get into the areas we typically see the biggest celebrities in. Of course, we don’t know if that’s true or not.
One thing that does seem clear is that Swift and Lively are at least distancing themselves from each other publicly. Now, we’ll have to wait and see if their friendship will be publicly rekindled, or if it will still look as though they’ve had a falling out.
